Russia Stepping Up Military Activity
Ukraine has accused Russia of stepping up military activity in the annexed territory of Crimea. Andriy Lysenko, a spokesman for the Ukrainian military, said that Ukrainian military intelligence reported Russian units conducting surveillance with drones from Crimea. He said three Russian military helicopters have violated Ukrainian airspace from the territory. According to NATO, Russia has already massed about 20,000 combat-ready troops along Ukraine's border.Read More > | | | |

| U.S. Reconnaissance Flights
President Barack Obama has authorized U.S. reconnaissance flights over Syria. The Syrian government said that it's ready to accept support from the United States and others working under the UN umbrella to fight "terrorists". The Islamic extremist group wrested the Al-Tabqa air base from Syrian military on Sunday. Syrian state television reported that the Syrian military had evacuated the air base to regroup and was still carrying out strikes against ISIS fighters in the area.

| Tracking Where Cellphone Users Go
Makers of surveillance systems are offering governments across the world the ability to track the movements of almost anybody who carries a cellphone. Surveillance systems are secretly collecting records to map people's travels over days, weeks, or longer, according to company marketing documents and experts in surveillance technology. Experts say the new systems allow less technically advanced governments to track people in any nation with relative ease and precision.

| Antisemitism Strikes European Union
According to Robin Sclafani director of
CEJI-A, new members of the European Parliament need to break the cycle of antisemitism in the European Union. Protest invoking "death to the Jews" have hit the streets of many European cities while social media facilitates a barrage of hate speech. Arguments that these incidents are caused by the exchange of fire between Hamas and Israel are invalid as we have witnessed an escalation of violent attacks against...

| Gay Theology

An evangelical Christian worship singer is at the forefront of a coming tidal wave of "infiltration" of church by promoters of the "gay" agenda. Evangelical attorney, evangelist and activist Scott Lively says that after the Stonewall riots in 1969, homosexual activists banded together to oppose every American institution that did not fully accept and promote homosexual behavior. Their first victory was over the American Psychiatric Association. The latest was the Boy Scouts.

| Common Core Teaching
Meg Norris, a longtime public school teacher in Georgia, retired last year to become a full-time anti-Common Core activist after she found out the destructive impact the standards were having on her students. Common Core is a new method of teaching. They are training teachers not to require any single right answer, whether it's a math problem or a history lesson. What matters is how well the students defend his or her answer.

| Abbas to Submit Proposal

Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas said he intends to submit a "surprising" diplomatic solution to the "Palestinian issue" to U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry next week. The PA chairman added that his "surprise" will not consist of a declaration of war against Israel. The U.S. will likely not receive the proposal warmly, but it enjoys wide Arab support according to Abbas, who said he would insist on its implementation.
