A few hours later, Germany’s Foreign Minister tried to persuade Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu not to retaliate against Iran for attacking Israel with hundreds of dronesand missiles. Netanyahu said, • Israel will do whatever it needs to defend itself. • I appreciate the advice, but I want to be clear: Our decisions we will make ourselves. I admire Netanyahu for what he has done and said, but according to Bible prophecy, Israel will not do the most important thing it needs to do (accept Jesus as their Messiah)for at least 7 more years. Here is a short list of Bible prophecies about Israel. • Israel had to become a nation in one day before she travailed (before the Tribulation Period; Isa. 66:5-9). • Israel cannot be destroyed again (Israel’s enemies need to pay attention: Amos 9:15). • Israel must complete 490 years (70 weeks of years, including the 7-year Tribulation Period) before the Jews accept Jesus as their Messiah (Dan. 9:24-27). • The 7-year (2,520 days on the Jewish calendar) Tribulation Period will begin when the Antichrist confirms a covenant with many for one week of years (Dan. 9:27). • God will make Jerusalem a problem for the entire world during the Tribulation Period (Zech. 12:2-3). He will defend Jerusalem and destroy every nation that attacks her (Zech.12:6-9; 14:12). • God will pour out His Spirit on Israel at the end of the 7-year Tribulation Period, Israel will accept Jesus as their Messiah (Jer. 23:5-8; Ezek. 36:24-28; Zech 12:10-14), Hewill come back, and all Israel will be saved (Rom. 11:26). Israel needs to understand that she cannot defend herself, but God can, and Israel’s troubles will continue until the Jews accept Jesus as their Messiah (and they will). Here are some events that appear to indicate that we are close to the end of the age. One, concerning God’s protection of Israel and Iran’s attack onIsrael: Rabbi Meir Lau (Rabbi of Tel Aviv) said, “God did us a great favor that 99% of all the UAVs were destroyed without harming us. There was only some damage to places and no harm to people. This whole story was a great miracle, but we still have not appreciatedits magnitude. They were spotted by a police helicopterand arrested. Officials called the minor injuries and failed guns a “Passover Miracle.” Three, concerning the Israel-Hamas war: on Apr. 17, 2024, Israelsaid, “IAF planes conducted airstrikes against terrorists and terror infrastructure (in northern Gaza), hitting more than 40 targets over the past day, including underground launching posts, booby-trapped structures, military structures where armed terroristsoperated, observation posts, underground terrorist infrastructure, and additional terrorist infrastructure.” Israel also struck several targets in Rafah. Four, concerning inflation, the decline of America, and the emptyingof America’s strategic oil reserves: on Apr. 19, 2024, the Department of the Interior announced that it will prohibit any new oil drilling project in the U.S. Arctic Ocean as well as on 11 million acres of Alaska’s National Petroleum Reserve and nearly 3 millionacres of Alaska’s coastal waters. Five, concerning a borderless world and illegal immigration: onApr. 19, 2024, it was reported that illegal immigrants in New York complained that the amount of (free) food they get, their housing, (free) services, and other benefits they are getting are not enough and that this is unacceptable. Six, concerning corruption in Washington and the belief by manythat we can no longer trust the elections: I cannot count the times I have heard someone say that they do not believe the globalists will let Trump win the next election even if it becomes necessary to assassinate him. I hope it is not true, but on Apr. 19, 2024, Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives proposed legislation to strip Pres. Trump of his Secret Service protection if heis convicted and sentenced for a felony. Seven, concerning Biden’s efforts to force Netanyahu and Israelto obey him: on Apr. 21, 2024, it was reported that U.S. officials have confirmed that Biden intends to impose sanctions on an Israeli military unit on the West Bank of Israel (Judea and Samaria) for violating the rights of Palestinians. Netanyahu said, “At a time when our soldiers are fighting terrorist monsters, the intention to sanction a unit in the IDF is the height of absurdity and a moral low.” (My opinion:Biden is daring God to curse America.) Eight, concerning America’s unstainable national debt and theeconomic collapse of the U.S.: on Apr. 3, 2024, it was reported that the White House intends to use funds appropriated to advance America’s national interest (democracy, freedom of speech, free market values, etc.) to train at least 200 LGBTQ+ activists tospread transgenderism in India. Nine, concerning an increase in wars and rumors of wars at theend of the age: on Apr. 22, 2024, a report by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) said military spending is soaring across the globe and it reached an all-time high in 2023. Ten, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on Apr. 23, 2024,Iran vowed to annihilate Israel if it launches a major attack on Iranian territory. Iran’s Pres. Raisi said there will be nothing left of the Zionist regime (Israel). Eleven, concerning hatred for Israel at the end of the age: on Apr. 22, 2024, U.S. Senators Josh Hawley and Tom Cotton asked Pres. Biden to mobilize the National Guard toprotect Jewish students on college campuses. Hawley sent a letter to Biden that said: “On college campuses across the United States, Jewish Americans are at risk. … In your statement on Passover, you stated that “in recent days, we’ve seen harassment and callsfor violence against Jews. Thursday, Apr. 18, 2024 (Day 195): The one-hundred-fortieth day of the resumed war. • It is being rumored that the U.S. will impose severe sanctions on Iran for attacking Israel, approve Israel’s actions on Rafah in the south and Hezbollah in the north, and transferfinancial aid to Israel, if Israel will not retaliate against Iran. • The U.S. vetoed a UN Security Council resolution that would open the door for Palestine to become a state in the UN. • Israel used missiles to launch a limited strike near an airport and a major military base next to Iran’s nuclear reactor. There were simultaneous explosions in Iran, Iraq, andSyria. • Israel killed a senior Hamas intelligence official. • Israel captured several terrorists that were hiding in a school in Gaza. Friday, Apr. 19, 2024 (Day 196): The one hundred-forty-first day of the resumed war. • Iran played down Israel’s strike on the previous day and signaled that it will not retaliate. • Israel’s strike on Iran accomplished what Israel set out to do – destroy the Russian anti-aircraft system that was installed to defend Iran’s nearby nuclear facility. • S. officials confirmed that Israel attacked a terrorist base in Iraq (base destroyed, one terrorist killed, 8 terrorists injured). Saturday, Apr. 20, 2024 (Day 197): The one hundred-forty-second day of the resumed war. • Turkey’s Pres. Erdogan urged Palestinian Arabs to unite against Israel. Sunday, Apr. 21, 2024 (Day 198): The one hundred-forty-third day of the resumed war. • Israel indicted the sister of Hamas’ top leader Ishmail Haniyeh on charges of inciting Muslims to kill Jews. • Netanyahu said he will fight sanctions the U.S. imposes on the Israeli military unit on the West Bank (Judea and Samaria). • Netanyahu said Israel will inflict painful blows on Hamas in the coming days to free the remaining hostages. He compared Hamas to Pharaoh, “It hardens its heart and refuses tolet our people go; therefore, we will bring it more painful blows—and it will happen soon.” Monday, Apr. 22, 2024 (Day 199): The one hundred-forty-fourth day of the resumed war. • Israel struck 3 villages in Lebanon, and Hezbollah fired about 35 rockets into Israel. • An independent Palestinian news anchor reported that Hamas deliberately killed numerous aid workers and stole shipments of food sent to Palestinians because Hamas wanted to bethe only entity in Gaza in control of the warehousing and distribution of food. Tuesday, Apr. 23, 2024 (Day 200): The one hundred-forty-fifth day of the resumed war. • Israeli intelligence learned that Hamas was loading several launchers in Gaza to fire rockets into Israel. Israeli jets struck the launchers before the rockets were fired. • Hamas urged Israel’s enemies to attack Israel on all fronts. Wednesday, Apr. 24, 2024 (Day 201): The one hundred-forty-sixth day of the resumed war. • Per Biden’s demands to protect Palestinians, Israel will evacuate about 1.4 million civilians from Rafah in preparation for an attack starting about 3 weeks from now (Israelestimates that it will take about 3 weeks to eliminate Hamas in Rafah). Possible developments also came up during the meeting with Blinken, and they (the U.S.) conveyed to Iranthrough us that this reaction must be within certain limits,� the source said.� Biden had been warning for two days that Iran was going to attack Israel, yet when this report came out, the Biden State Department denied its veracity, saying the US didn�tknow about the attack ahead of time. Matt Margolis, writing for PJ Media, summed it up: �I�ve said before that, despite his public support for Israel, Biden has not been a friend to the Jewish state. And this report proves that. Joe Biden publicly told Irannot to attack Israel. When it was clear they didn�t give a hoot what he said, the Biden administration basically said it was fine to attack Israel as long as the attack was �within certain limits.� While this observation is very troubling about the ethicsand integrity of Biden, it is also disturbing from a prophetic viewpoint. Ezekiel 38 prophesies about an end-time �Day of the Lord� battle where a coalition of nations invade Israel. The coalition, led by the antichrist figure �Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal (v 38:3),� is comprised of Persia, Ethiopia, Libya, Magog, Gomer and Togarmah. Ancienthistory and maps confirm that Magog, Meshech, Tubal, Gomer and Togarmah are located in modern Turkey. Persia is modern Iran. Libya is Libya and Ethiopia is likely modern Sudan. For this coalition to come against Israel, Shiite Iran must submit to and unitewith Sunni Turkey. His comments appeared to bemeant to appease his nationalist governing partners but it was not clear whether they would have any bearing on any emerging deal with Hamas. �The idea that we will stop the war before achieving all of its goals is out of the question,� Netanyahu said, according to a statement from his office. �We will enter Rafahand we will eliminate Hamas� battalions there � with or without a deal, to achieve the total victory.� When this operation takes place, pro-Hamas protesters all over the U.S. will go completely nuts. Of course there are many that would argue that they have already gone completely nuts. On Tuesday, rabid pro-Hamas activists at Columbia University actually took over one of the most important buildings on campus� Student protesters at Columbia University declared Tuesday morning that they have taken over a building near the campus�s South Lawn, raising the prospect of further turmoilat the Ivy League institution. The school responded by threatening to expel the students who occupied the building. Protesters and authorities are facing off on campuses across the nation, with arrests made and encampments closed at Cal Poly Humboldt, UNCChapel Hill, the University of Florida and elsewhere. Activists have barricaded all entrances to Hamilton Hall, and they are displaying a Palestinian flag from one of the windows� Dozens of protesters took over a building at Columbia University in New York early Tuesday, barricading the entrances and unfurling a Palestinian flag out a window in thelatest escalation of demonstrations against the Israel-Hamas war that have spread to college campuses nationwide. Video footage showed protesters on Columbia�s Manhattan campus locking arms in front of Hamilton Hall early Tuesday and carrying furniture and metal barricades to the building,one of several that was occupied during a 1968 civil rights and anti-Vietnam War protest on the campus. Posts on an Instagram page for protest organizers shortly after midnight urged people to protect the encampment and join them at Hamilton Hall. What in the world do they hope to accomplish by doing this? One student that witnessed the occupation of the building is using the term �lawless� to describe what is happening� Columbia junior Jessica Schwalb described the campus to CBS News as �lawless. Utter ancarchy.� She said demonstrators in Hamilton Hall �zip-tied the doorhandles together andthen broke the windows, bashed the windows with hammers and put these metal bike locks around the door handles. They put the bike lock on the first set of doors is what I saw and then they were bringing tables, the heavy black metal tables from the eatingarea that�s right in front of Hamilton Hall, and had a group of people push them up against the door handles as a barricade and then people were also bringing furniture from Hamilton Hall to barricade inside.� We haven�t seen anything like this in a long time. Columbia was once one of our finest institutions of higher education, but now it has become an incubator for far-left radicals. One attorney that is involved in suing Columbia is alleging that there have been �straight-out calls for the genocide of Jews� during the protests that have been happeningat the university� The attorney of an anonymous Jewish Columbia student who is suing the university for allegedly not providing �a safe educational environment� says his client is having todeal with calls for genocide while attending school. �There are straight-out calls for the genocide of Jews. This has happened because of complacency and appeasement by our academic institutions,� Jay Edelson, who is representingthe student, told NewNation�s Leland Vittert on �On Balance.� And he also says that Jewish students have been �punched, shoved, spat upon, blocked from attending classes and moving freely about campus, and targeted by pro-terrorist hatespeech�� �The encampment has been the center of round-the-clock harassment of Jewish students, who have been punched, shoved, spat upon, blocked from attending classes and moving freelyabout campus, and targeted by pro-terrorist hate speech �� both verbal and in written form on massive banners and signs �� with statements such as: �Death to the Jews�; �Long live Hamas�; �Globalize the Intifada,�� the lawsuit said. This is actually happening in the United States of America in 2024. The protests at Columbia University are getting the most headlines, but the truth is that this sort of thing is happening at colleges and universities all over the country. At Portland State University, students have actually been trying to take over the entire school library� Officials at Portland State University in Oregon closed the campus Tuesday citing an �ongoing incident at library.� The school asked police to help remove dozens of protestersoccupying the building. Last week the university paused seeking or accepting gifts or grants from Boeing pending a review of weapons sales to Israel. Down in Texas, authorities are taking a much different approach to these protests. Police are using flash bangs and pepper spray against pro-Hamas protesters, and dozens are being cuffed and hauled away� Police in Austin arrested 79 pro-Palestine protestors who set up an encampment at the University of Texas � a marked contrast to NYC, where Columbia protesters have been allowedto take over parts of the campus. Austin law enforcement moved in on the encampment on the university�s South Lawn before deploying flash bangs and pepper spray to disperse those that had gathered on Monday. On Tuesday, Travis County jail confirmed that 79 people were arrested at the protests. Sadly, this is just the beginning. Once the IDF goes into Rafah, pro-Hamas protesters all over the U.S. will go completely insane. If you live in an area where they are active, you will want to prepare yourself for that. Meanwhile, the Biden administration seems quite eager to bring even more radicals into this nation. It is being reported that the recent �aid package� that was just signed into law actually includes 3.5 billion dollars that will �supercharge mass migration from the MiddleEast�� President Joe Biden�s pro-migration border chief is opening new processing centers for Muslim migrants, amid pro-HAMAS riots in U.S. cities and just after Congress granted$3.5 billion more for migration within the $95 billion aid package for Ukraine and Israel. �Not only did the �Foreign Aid� package do nothing to secure our own border, it included $3.5 Billion to supercharge mass migration from the Middle East,� said a tweet fromSen. Thesedire words aptly describe Hamas. Our brains struggle to believe such brutality could possibly exist in this modern-day world. And yet, as Hamas invaders tore through Israel�s fences and murdered over 1,200 innocent people � in such gruesome ways I couldn�tpossibly describe here � and kidnapped hundreds more, we know that such evil truly does exist in our day. The world initially rallied around Israel in their mission to wipe out this great evil, and rightly so. But, as the fighting continues on and the body count rises, much ofthe world has maddingly turned their support to the terrorists and tragically against the victims! To my surprise, even Christians seem to be struggling with why they should be supporting Israel. Well, I�ll tell you why. God is fulfilling promises today that were made to the Jewish people thousands of years ago. These promises rest on a series of legal agreements, called covenants, made betweenGod and the Jewish people, that center on the land of Israel. The cornerstone covenant � the Abrahamic Covenant � grants the title deed to the land of Israel to the descendants of the line of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This unconditional,irrevocable, and everlasting promise was literally sealed in blood (Genesis 12:1-7; 13:14-18; 17:7; 1 Chronicles 16:17-18; Psalm 105:8-11; Romans 9:4). God�s Land Covenant promises that Israel will one day become the prime nation of the world� (Deuteronomy 28:1). The Davidic Covenant promises an eternal King who will descend from the line of King David. One day this Messiah will rule over the entire world from Jerusalem (2 Samuel 7:10-16). These covenants are why for hundreds of years, Christians have believed, just because God said so, that we should naturally support the nation of Israel. Well, �Not so!�, says a particular group of Christians, Christians who meet at conferences with names like �Christ at the Checkpoint.� They question the legitimacy of these covenants and whether Christians should really be supporting Israel. Myths Busted Let�s debunk seven of these naysayers� most popular myths for why Christians should not support the nation of Israel. Myth #1: �The Jews killed Jesus!� Those who accuse the Jews of killing Jesus seem to have purposefully forgotten that the Bible says, �For truly in this city there were gathered together against Your holyServant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel� (Acts 4:27-28). So, not only did both Jews and Gentiles participate in murdering Jesus, but in truth, we are all sinners, and therefore all of us are responsible for Jesus dying on the cross.But, reality check, Jesus Himself clearly stated that He alone laid down His life and that no one took it from Him (John 10:15-18). Myth #2: �The Jews have been disinherited because of their unbelief.� The Jews may have been evicted from their land � twice � due to their rebellion against God. But, as Psalm 105 explains, God guaranteed in His Abrahamic Covenant that theland of Israel unconditionally and forever belongs to the children of Jacob. And, as the Apostle Paul argued in Romans 9-11, �Has God rejected His people? May it never be! For I too am an Israelite� God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew.� And so, no, God has neither disinherited the Jewish people nor revoked His land covenants. Myth #3: �The Church has replaced Israel and now receives her inheritance.� Not according to the Apostle Paul! He tells the story of an olive tree whose branches were pruned off due to unbelief, and wild vines grafted on (Romans 11). But, when thenatural branches began believing again, they would be grafted back on the tree. Salvation may have come to the wild olive vines � the Church � but God still has salvation planned for the natural branches � a believing Israel who will call Jesus Savior. Myth #4: �The Jews regathering back to the land of Israel cannot be from God because they haven�t repented and accepted Jesus as their Messiah.� The Jews returning to Israel in unbelief is exactly what God foretold would happen. Isaiah prophesied the Jews would be regathered a second time from the nations of the world,and Ezekiel made it clear that the Jews would regather in unbelief for God Himself to give them a new heart for Him (Isaiah 11:10-12; Ezekiel 36:22-28). It�s no accident of history that a people dispossessed from their country for 1,900 years could ever have kept their ethnic identity and rebirthed their nation two millennialater. Such a thing has never happened! And this is the nation of the Bible we�re talking about. Therefore, the regathering of the Jews can only be a miracle from God. Myth #5: �To support Israel is to support every action of the Israeli government.� Nobody supports every action of any government, even their own. Supporting Israel is to support the redemptive work God is doing in bringing a remnant of their people to salvationin Christ and ultimately into the fulfillment of His covenants. Myth #6: �The Jews stole the Palestinians� land and live there illegally.� First off, the Abrahamic Covenant grants the Jewish people the eternal deed to the land of Israel. Second, when the Jews began returning in the early 20th Century, there wasno such thing as a Palestinian. The handful of Arabs living in that wasteland sold the land back to the Jews at exorbitant prices. And third, Israel was created legally in response to a United Nations declaration passed in November 1947, which authorized theestablishment of a Jewish state in the land the Romans had renamed Palestine. You can�t steal land that�s already legally yours. Myth #7: �To support Israel is to hate the Palestinian people.� Contrary to Arab propaganda, those who call themselves Palestinians enjoy more freedoms and rights in Israel than if they lived in any Muslim nation. For it�s not the Jewswho hate and abuse the Palestinians, but their own terrorist leaders who steal billions of their foreign aid and deny refugees access back to their home countries of Syria and Jordan. Why, the Palestinians have been afforded several opportunities since 1948 to create another Palestinian state besides Jordan, but each time they have rejected those offersand instead responded with violence. Why? Because their ultimate goal is the annihilation of Israel. So, who exactly hates who here? With those myths busted, let�s look at some of the reasons why Christians should support Israel. 1. Blessing � When it comes to supporting the nation of Israel,God promised in Genesis 12, �I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse.� Supporting Israel incurs God�s blessing. 5. Biblical � It rather goes without saying that it is biblicallycorrect for Christians to support God. Since God loves the Jewish people and wants them to return to Him, then shouldn�t Christians want this as well? Loving Israel expresses our love for God. 6. Prophetic � And finally, whether you love or hate the nationof Israel, or even the Jewish people, regardless of what we mere mortals think � Bible prophecy will be fulfilled. Adams called Fithian �the nation�s best-known protest consultant�, noting she gets paid as much as $300 a day to run demonstrations and teach how to take over streets duringprotests. In addition, it is being reported that three groups that are heavily funded by George Soros �set up the tent city on Columbia�s lawn�� The cash from Soros and his acolytes has been critical to the Columbia protests that set off the national copycat demonstrations. Three groups set up the tent city on Columbia�s lawn last Wednesday: Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Within Our Lifetime. At the �Gaza Solidarity Encampment,� students sleep in tents apparently ordered from Amazon and enjoy delivery pizza, coffee from Dunkin�, free sandwiches worth $12.50 fromPret a Manger, organic tortilla chips and $10 rotisserie chickens. An analysis by The Post shows that all three got cash from groups linked to Soros. The Rockefeller Brothers Fund also gave cash to JVP. This wasn�t just a group of college students that suddenly decided to get radical. This was an operation that was well planned and well funded. And the SJP has had a hand in initiating similar operations at other colleges and universities all over the United States� Copycat tent cities have been set up at colleges including Harvard, Yale, Berkeley in California, the Ohio State University and Emory in Georgia � all of them organized bybranches of the Soros-funded Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) � and at some, students have clashed with police. The SJP parent organization has been funded by a network of nonprofits ultimately funded by, among others, Soros, the billionaire left-wing investor. Last year, the New York Times reported that �The People�s Forum� has received funding from the Chinese Community Party. Needless to say, that is a very alarming connection. For now, the protest at Columbia has been crushed, but we continue to see chaos at colleges and universities all over the country. Here are some of thehighlights� • Violent clashes between pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli protesters erupted Tuesday night at the University of California, Los Angeles, leading school officials to cancel classeson Wednesday. • Protesters entered an undergraduate admissions building at Emory University on Wednesday. • New York police arrested protesters who were occupying the lobby of a building at Fordham University Wednesday afternoon. They also cleared away a tent encampment. • Students at Portland State University continued to barricade themselves inside the school�s library, escalating a two-day standoff with officials, who canceled classes Wednesday. The violence at UCLA is particularly disturbing. Last night, a number of individuals were seriously hurt, and one person actually had to be sent to the hospital� The clashes at UCLA took place around a tent encampment built by pro-Palestinian protesters, who erected barricades and plywood for protection � while counter-protesters triedto pull them down. Video showed fireworks exploding over and in the encampment. People threw chairs and at one point a group piled on a person who lay on the ground, kicking and beating them with sticks until others pulled them out of the scrum. Zero Hedge is reporting that radicals have actually put up barriers all around the campus and are keeping out any students that do not agree with the protests� It�s like the Seattle CHAZ encampment all over again. Far-left activists have declared the UCLA campus a �liberated zone� and are refusing entry for many students not affiliatedwith the pro-Gaza protests. They have erected barriers and placed guards, creating makeshift checkpoints which require a special wrist band in order to gain passage. In other words, if you aren�t an �ally� then you don�t get to attend classes, or, if you�re lucky you are allowed to take a longer route around the barricades. Keep in mind,this is not a protected form of protest or free speech, which explains why many college campuses have chosen to have protesters removed by police. UCLA so far appears to be supporting the activists and has allowed them to take control. This is complete and utter lawlessness. And if they get away with it there, paid agitators will try the same thing at other colleges and universities. Of course these far left radicals at UCLA need to eat just like the rest of us, and they are specifically asking people to bring them �vegan and gluten-free food�� The pro-Palestine encampment at UCLA sent out demands for vegan and gluten-free food as they rebuild their barricades after a night of violent clashes with counter-protestersand authorities. The list of requested items, first reported by Fox News, included �urgent� demands for �wood for barrier�, �knee and elbow pads� and �gas masks.� Under a list of food requirements to be delivered to the camp the protesters requested �vegan food�, �gluten free food� and �hot food for lunch�. A list of banned foods include anything packaged, coffee, bagels, bananas and nuts. Colleges and universities are perfect locations for far-left protests, because there are lots of wide open public spaces and there are lots of deeply confused young peoplethat are sympathetic to leftist causes. So I fully expect that colleges and universities will continue to be targeted by professional agitators and the organizations that fund them during this election season andthe chaos that will extend into 2025 and beyond. One of the primary goals of these protests is to get attention, and the mainstream media has been giving them plenty of it. Unfortunately, I believe that this is just the beginning.
