ISRAEL WATCH: 4.24.21 - Red Heifer Mania

Prophetic Milestone - Majority of Jews To Live In Israel By 2030 – Caroline Glick - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=4670 At independence, Israel was little more than a spark of light--a tiny spark--in the Jewish world. Out of 11.5 million Jews alive on the 5th of the month of Iyyar in theJewish year 5708, (May 14, 1948), only 650,000, or 6 percent lived in Israel. In contrast, the day Israel was founded, some five million, or 43 percent of world Jewry, were living in the United States. Fast forward 73 years and that little spark of light is now the sun in the Jewish solar system. With 6.9 million Jews out of a total of 14.9 million, not only is Israelthe largest Jewish community in the world by far, with 47 percent of world Jewry living within its boundaries, by 2030, the majority of world Jewry will be living in the Jewish state. As for America, although half a million Jews immigrated to the United States since Israel was founded, the total number of Jews in America stands today at a mere 5.7 million.American Jewry has been reduced to just 38 percent of the world Jewish population. The implications are straightforward. Since 1948, virtually all of the growth in the Jewish world population has happened and is continuing to happen in Israel. Israel's transformation into the center of the Jewish world isn't just a question of demographics. Most Torah learning happening in the world is happening in Israel. MostJewish literature is being written in Israel. Jewish advances in everything from medicine to economics and business, to science, engineering, culinary arts, visual arts and more are happening in Israel. Jewish history is being researched in Israel and is beingmade in Israel. Israel is the present of the Jewish people and the future of the Jewish people. Aside from everything else, this state of affairs exposes the manifest stupidity of the claim that anti-Zionism is anything other than anti-Semitism. Although Israel's position at the center of the Jewish world is undeniable, it has gone largely unnoticed by most Israelis. Most of the Israelis who are engaged with DiasporaJewry continue to act as though Israel--with a per capita GDP higher than Japan's--is an underpopulated, impoverished backwater that cannot survive without the support of our wealthy and more secure brethren in America, Australia or France. So too, most Israelis are unaware of the revolution the country has brought to Judaism itself. In the space of three generations, Israelis have taken their grandparents'practices from the ghettos of Europe and the melachs of North Africa and Arabia and turned them into a dynamic, living, breathing creed. Judaism is the rhythm of life in Israel. In every neighborhood, village and town, the Judaism that is lived in Israel has an electric vibrance. Israeli music, fashion, customs, prayer, settlement, religious studies, agriculture and cooking are separately and together expressions of a spiritual renewal the likes of which no one imagined, or planned. It is the organic outgrowth of the reunification of the people of Israel and their faith in their land. Few have noticed any of this or considered its spiritual and culturalsignificance, let alone recognized its potential. The reformation of Jewish life is not Israel's only huge achievement that has been largely overlooked and underappreciated by the people of Israel. They have also largelymissed the transformation of Israel's global position. The ongoing domestic debate regarding the goal of Israel's policies in relation to Iran's nuclear program is a testament to this lack of national self-awareness. Since Iran's military nuclear program was revealed to the world by an Iranian opposition group in late 2002, a debate has raged in Israel about who is responsible for preventingIran from getting the bomb. In 2002, the immediate response of then-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and his then deputy Ehud Olmert was that dealing with Iran's nuclear program was America's responsibility. True, they acknowledged, Israel is the first on Iran's target list. And true, Iran's leaders have all committed to annihilating Israel. But since Iran's nuclear programthreatens the region--and indeed the world as a whole, responsibility for dealing with this existential threat belongs to superpower America, not to tiny Israel. This view became the near-consensus over the years in the IDF General Staff. Israeli generals' counterparts in the Pentagon promised them that Israel could count on theUnited States. Today this view is promoted most powerfully by former IDF chief of general staff and current Defense Minister Benny Gantz. Gantz summed up this position succinctly last Monday in remarks he made at a joint press appearance with visiting U.S.Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. In Gantz's words, "The Tehran of today poses a strategic threat to international security, to the entire Middle East and to the State of Israel, and we will work closelywith our American allies to ensure that any new agreement with Iran will secure the vital interests of the world, of the U.S., prevent a dangerous arms race in our region and protect the State of Israel." Notably, like Olmert and Sharon before him, Gantz put Israel last on his list of concerns despite the fact that Iran's ayatollahs have made it abundantly clear that Israelis their primary target. Moreover, Gantz's statement made clear that he rules out the option of Israel acting independently as a regional power to secure its very existence. Both philosophically and practically, Gantz's approach disavows strategic independence, and through it, actual independence for Israel. In other words, his approach is apure distillation of anti-Zionism. Since 2002, the most prominent and powerful advocate for a different approach to Iran's nuclear program has been Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu's view is thatIsrael is solely responsible for its security. Consequently, Israel is responsible for ensuring that the genocidally anti-Semitic Iranian regime never acquires military nuclear capability. This view has been subjected to brutal and continuous assault by theother side, which has castigated Netanyahu's approach as incendiary and warmongering. Netanyahu repeated his position in his press appearance with Austin last Monday. "My policy as prime minister of Israel is clear--I will never allow Iran to obtain the nuclearcapability to carry out its genocidal goal of eliminating Israel." Those wishing to pass the Iran buck to America often claim that Israel has no strategy for dealing with Iran. But the operation at the Natanz nuclear installation on April11, and others which have occurred over the past several years and have been attributed to the Mossad by foreign sources, all make clear that Israel has a very clear strategy for preventing Iran from becoming a nuclear power. Facing Iran's nuclear advances, Israel is implementing a strategy of undermining Iran's progress. To carry it out successfully, Israel has developed impressive independentstrategic capabilities. These have allowed Israel to carry out creative and daring discrete attacks on carefully chosen targets that have cumulatively blocked Iran's nuclear advances. Israel's strategy of delaying and subverting Iran's nuclear advances is geared towards achieving the goal that like the Obama administration before it, the Biden administrationclaims to aspire to achieve. Both leaders' nuclear diplomacy has been represented as a means to delay Iran's nuclear progress as well. The difference is that the Obama-Biden approach to Iran is based on appeasement and trust. The Obama-Biden team are willing to take the ayatollahs at their word when theysay they will scale back their nuclear activities. In exchange for Iran's "word of honor" they are happy to legitimize Iran's nuclear program, regional aggression, ballistic missile program and terror sponsorship worldwide. Moreover, they are willing to pay Iran billions of dollars in the form of sanctions relief and permit Iran to reenter the global economy in exchange for that "word of honor." Israel's strategy, in contrast, delegitimizes Iran's nuclear program, its regional aggression, sponsorship of terror and ballistic missile program while actually blockingIran's path to the nuclear finish line. Israel also trusts the Iranian "word of honor." Israel believes that the likes of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his underlings are serious when they commit to destroying the Jewish state. It's possible that there is a better strategic approach to Iran's nuclear program than the one that Israel has adopted. But so long as the powerful clique of security brassand leftist politicians continues to reject the Zionist approach of developing strategic independence that Netanyahu advocates, the "delay and block" strategy now being advanced is the best that Israel can do. Amazingly, even this modest strategy has reaped massive payoffs which in turn have increased Israel's strategic independence. Israel's willingness to operate independently, even to a limited degree, has sufficed to convince its neighbors, including Saudi Arabia, that they can trust Israel more than they can trust the United States to protect the region from a hegemonic, nuclear-armed Iran. The Abraham Accords that were signed last year are an expression of the faith that Israel's neighbors have in the Jewish state. In other words, the operations attributedto Israel in Iran--like the one at Natanz last weekend--have sufficed to transform Israel into a regional power and foster peace between Israel and its Arab neighbors to the east. Yet in the face of this massive achievement, Gantz and his fellow former generals and leftist politicians continue to say that what has already happened before our eyeswill never and can never happen. As Israel turns 73, the time has come for the people of Israel to realize that Theodor Herzl was right. We willed it. Our freedom and independence in our reconstituted homelandisn't a dream. The challenge Israel faces today is for us to recognize our accomplishments and dare to take our place as the center of the Jewish world on the one hand, and as an independent, sovereign state in the full sense of the word on the other. The sooner we do both, the faster and more effectively we will ensure our future in our land for generations to come. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Red Heifer Mania - By Jeff Van Hatten - https://www.raptureready.com/2021/04/18/red-heifer-mania-by-jeff-van-hatten/ Prophecy continues to be fulfilled at an alarming pace. The state of Israel is a fact. Jerusalem is controlled by the Jews and belongs to Israel. The Hebrew language hasbeen revived, and all Israeli citizens are required to learn it. The desert is blooming. And Jewish authorities are preparing to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem. On October 13, 2004, the Sanhedrin was reestablished for the first time since 425 AD and reconvened on February 9, 2005, to discuss the topic of the Third Temple. Sincethat time, all the gold and silver utensils and garments needed for Temple worship have either been recovered or re-manufactured. Only the Ark of the Covenant awaits recovery. The Temple building itself has been prefabricated and can be rebuilt as soon aspermission is given to do so. Two hundred Kohen priests have been identified through DNA testing and are being trained to re-institute animal sacrifices according to scriptural requirements outlined in the Scroll of Leviticus. The breeding program for thered heifer has been established by the Temple Institute. Heifers Heifers in scripture are very important. Deuteronomy Chapter 21:1-9 recounts the process for forgiving a town that is nearby a murder victim when the perpetrator of themurder is not known. The elders of the city nearest to the victim are to take a heifer that has never been put to work or yoked for use as a draft animal. Jeremiah 48:34 recounts the wailing of the cities of Heshbon and Elealah that could be heard as far away as Jahaz, sounding like the cries of a three-year-old heifer. A red heifer is necessary for purification from sin, according to Numbers Chapter 19. Today, once again, the headlines are ablaze with the news that a pure red heifer hasbeen found. The Perfect Heifer Requirements Numbers 19:2 – “Tell the people of Israel to bring you a young red female cow without fault or defect and which has never borne a yoke.” There are several main requirements: 1.It must be a female cow. 2.It must be a red heifer that has no blemish. In other words, if it has more than only two other color hairs, it is disqualified. Additionally, itmust not have any physical blemishes or spots. 3.It must have never been used for labor. In other words, never harnessed or yoked. It must have never been pregnant, nor have even been allowed tomate with a male cow. 4.It must be within its third year. In other words, at least one day older than two years old. 5.It must be slaughtered outside the holy city of Jerusalem but within sight of the Temple. The first requirement, that the heifer be female, is exactly in opposition to the Egyptian superstition that only male cows were suitable for sacrifice and worship of theirgoddess Isis. Herodotus states that it is, in fact, not lawful for the Egyptians to offer females. The second requirement, that the heifer was unblemished, applies to all animals that may be sacrificed; it must be unblemished and without defect in order to be accepted;it cannot have one limb too long, bruised, crushed, torn or cut genitals (Leviticus 22:21-24), as it points to Yeshua, whom Ephesians 5:27 affirms was without spot, wrinkle, or blemish, but who is holy and blameless. Additionally, the heifer must also be red in color, maybe because the Egyptians only sacrificed red bulls to the evil demon Typhon. Those males were selected with greatcare. Plutarch states that the Egyptians “sacrifice red bulls, and select them with such scrupulous attention, that if the animal has a single black or white hair, they reckon it unfit to be sacrificed.” Thirdly, an animal that had been used for a common purpose was deemed improper for sacrifice. An animal that had been yoked and used to plow the ground would be disqualified. An animal that had become pregnant would also be considered disqualified due to its use for a common purpose; bearing fruit. The Priestly Requirements The two hundred Kohen priests that have been identified through DNA testing must now be consecrated for service. The anointing oil was found in an archaeological dig inApril 1988. The Mediterranean Sea Snail, which disappeared in 70 AD, has returned in great numbers and now makes it possible for the precious blue and the purple dye required for the High Priestly garments to be manufactured. Only one requirement is still missing; the red heifer. None of the current priests are ceremonially clean. They cannot be cleansed until the water of separation is recreated. And that requires the ashes of a perfect red heifer! The Breeding Program Israeli law does not allow the importation of live cattle into Israel, so the Temple Institute imported frozen embryos of red Angus cows from the United States and implantedthem into the wombs of Israeli domestic cows. Several calves have been born to those domestic cows. Three years ago, the Temple Institute in Jerusalem established a breeding program called “Raise a Red Heifer in Israel” to raise the necessary item needed for purificationof the Temple and its priests. The Jerusalem Post commented about the red heifer program saying, “an ancient commandment meets modern technology.” Tradition, History, and Red Heifer Mania According to Jewish tradition, the perfect heifer must be over two years old but under four years old, and perfect red heifers are extremely rare. Scripture says Moses preparedthe first one during the Exodus. Ezra sacrificed the second red heifer during the days of the First Temple. The Mishna records the names of those who performed the sacrifice during the time of the Second Temple. They are: Simon the Just and Yochanan the HighPriest each sacrificed two red heifers; El’yhoeini ben Hakof, Hanameel the Egyptian, and Yishmael ben Pi’avi sacrificed one each (Mishna Parah 3:5). Scripture and other documents say that from the time of the Exodus until the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD, only nine perfect red heifers have been sacrificed. Jewishtradition also informs us that there are to be only ten red heifers, and according to Maimonides, the tenth heifer will usher in the messianic age! He states: “…and the tenth red heifer will be accomplished by the king, the Messiah; may he be revealed speedily,Amen, May it be God’s will.” The Temple Institute had identified two candidates, one in 1997 and another in 2002, both initially thought to have met the requirements but later found each to be unsuitable. The headlines read: “Apocalypse Cow” in the New York Times (1997) and News Flash: Red Heifer Born In Israel in a Temple Institute web posting (2002). In 2014 the headlines read Torah-Condition-For-3rd-Temple-Now-Met, and articles reported that the Temple Institutehad posted a video showing what appeared to be a perfect red heifer that was being raised at an unidentified location in the United States. A report from Right Side News said a “qualified” red heifer has not been seen in Israel for nearly 2,000 years. Other headlines said there really is a red heifer today thatcould move the progress on the Third Temple forward! Hot news at the time, but how could this heifer be used since it wasn’t born in Israel? Seeing Red In 2018, the headlines were once again ablaze with red heifer hysteria. Bible-Prophecy-Heifer-Apocalypse; A Red Heifer!; Prophecy fulfilled after red cow is born at Templeof Israel; and Apocalyptic cow: Does the first red heifer born in Israel portend bad news for us all? the headlines proclaimed. According to The Temple Institute, on the 17th day of Elul, 5778 (August 28th, 2018, on the Gregorian calendar), a red [adom H122 אָדֹם] heifer [parah H6510 פָּרָה] (ParahAduma) was born in the land of Israel, foreshadowing the rebuilding of the Third Temple and the arrival of their long-awaited Mashiach (Messiah). At one week of age, the heifer underwent an extensive examination by rabbinical experts and has been certifiedby the Rabbis as meeting all of the scriptural requirements. Two new red heifers were born in the early months of 2020 and are currently possible candidates for the Parah Aduma (10th Heifer). In August, Rabbi Azaria Ariel inspected the current red heifer candidates and found that one of the two candidates has a few hairs which aren’t sufficiently red but couldstill qualify according to Jewish Law. The red heifer candidates will be examined again to determine whether they continue to possess the necessary requirements, according to Numbers 19:1-22 and the Mishna Tractate Parah. However Current global events appear to be lining up with the prophecies written in the Bible. However, other red heifers have initially been found to be qualified but later becamedisqualified as they began to age. Will this red heifer be The tenth, or will it too become disqualified as time goes on? If…and I say, if…this red heifer turns out to be The tenth Parah Aduma, then the building of the Third Temple may be close at hand, even at the door. However, this willnot usher in the arrival of the Jews’ long-awaited Mashiach (Messiah). Instead, it will usher in an unprecedented time of agony, bloodshed, disaster, pandemics, wars, and death, the likes of which this world has never seen. Yeshua says of this time: “For therewill be great tribulation worse than there has ever been from the beginning of the world until now, and there will be nothing like it again!” (Matthew 24:21). The Third Temple will allow the False Messiah, the Antichrist, to enter into the Holy of Holies anddeclare himself to be God. Final Thought The great day of Yahweh is getting really near, even at the door. It hastens forth and will not delay. We do NOT set dates, but clearly, Yahweh is getting ready to changethe course of human history once again. The signs are clear for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What really happened in the skies near Israels nuclear reactor? YaakovLappin - https://www.jns.org/what-really-happened-in-the-skies-near-israels-nuclear-reactor/ Former intelligence officer Tal Beeri tells JNS an alternative and unfounded narrative of a warning strike on Dimonas nuclear research center is playing out in media channels affiliated with Iran. Two days before a Syrian surface-to-air missile flew into southern Israel in response to reported Israeli airstrikes on targets in the Damascus area, two suspicious Iranian cargo planes landed at Damascus International Airport, likely carrying advanced weapons, a former IDF intelligence officer has told JNS. Early on Thursday morning, international media reports said that the Israeli Air Force hit a number of unknown targets in Syria, which triggered a Syrian SA-5 surface-to-air missile battery to fire on the Israeli aircraft. Maj. (res.) Tal Beeri, director of the research department at the Alma research center, which uses open-source material to shed light on security threats to Israel emanating from Syria and Lebanon, spent 20 years in IDF intelligencespecializing in Lebanon and Syria. He said that according to online public flight-tracking programs, the Iranian cargo planes landed at the Damascus airport on April 20. Those who follow Iranian cargo planes movements from Iran to Damascus are not surprised by airstrikes that follow them, he said. We dont know what the specific target of the Israeli strike was, but I am certainly linkingit to the arrival of the cargo planes, added Beeri. During the reported attack, as in many previous Israeli strikes, Syrian air-defense missile batteries launched interceptor missiles. The SA-5 is an old, Russian-built surface-to-air missile, explained Beeri. It can reach a range of some 400 kilometers and an altitude of some 40,000 feet. It has a 200-kilogram warhead. The missile is originally designed to shoot down larger air targets, like transport planes. If it doesnt strike a target in the air, it continues to fly until it falls because its flight trajectory ends, said Beeri. We saw in recent years quite a few incidents during airstrikes in which these missile launchesfrom Syria had unexpected results. Airstrikes can lead to Syrian missiles reaching all sorts of surprising places. Examples include the SA-5 missile that was successfully intercepted by an Israeli Arrow 2 missile over the Jordan Valley in March 2017, and the SA-5 missile that knocked an Israeli F-16 out of the sky in February 2018. Duringthat same incident, a second SA-5 missile fell in the Greek-populated region of Cyprus. In September 2018, recalled Beeri, an SA-5 missile hit a Russian intelligence-gathering aircraft while trying to hit an Israeli jet with tragic and deadly consequences. In July 2019, an SA-5 fired from Syria fell on the Turkish-populated side of Cyprus. From our understanding of the incident, the SA-5 fired [on April 22] was launched south of Damascus. The missile did not hit any aircraft, and its trajectory took it over Jordan. When it was over the Dead Sea, it crossedover into Israeli territory and traveled in a straight line until reaching the Beersheva region, said Beeri. At that stage, warning sirens went off in the region of the Bedouin village of Abu Qrenat, in the northwest Negev, stated the Israel Defense Forces. An Israeli air-defense system fired a missile at the Syrian missile but failed to strike it, according to Defense Minister Benny Gantz. The IDF acted against necessary assets [in Syria], preventing potential harm against Israel, he said during a press conference. An SA-5 crossed border. There was an attempt to intercept that didnt succeed. The air forceis investigating the incident. In most such cases, we see other results. Shortly afterwards, the IAF struck the battery from which the missile was launched and additional Syrian surface-to-air batteries in the area, the IDF Spokespersons Unit said in a statement. Revenge a totally baseless claim A Syrian military source told the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) that the IAF hit targets in the Damascus and Golan regions. SANA said in its reports that four Syrian soldiers sustained injuries in an Israeli strike south of Damascus and that the attack also caused some damage. Beeri added that there were also indications that a Syrian officer at the rank of captain was killed in the attack. Nevertheless, he said, when taken into the context of four incidents in the past three years, even such unusual incidents become somewhat routine. The fact is that the Syrian missile flew until it could not fly any further. This time, it reached the Beersheva region, he stated. This has not stopped social-media accounts and media channels affiliated with the radical Shiite-Iranian axis from holding what Beeri described as a celebration over the incident. The narrative of revengein which a surface-to-surface ballistic missile was deliberately fired at the Dimona-based Negev Nuclear Research Center as a warning strike to prove what the Iranian axis can dohas taken holdthere. Here is the revenge, but this is totally baseless claim, said Beeri. They are linking the incident to recent incidents at the Natanz nuclear site in Iran, he added, referring to the April 11 blast that tore throughthe facility, taking thousands of Iranian centrifuges offline and for which Iran has blamed Israel. Asked if this alternative narrative could still provide a face-saving outlet for Iran, Beeri said that public sentiments in narratives can, in principle, calm desires for revenge, but only if formal decision-makers and militarychiefs in Iran agree to use such an outlet. He added that it remains unclear whether the Iranian leadership, which is aware of what really happened, would do so.
