Welcome To The “New Normal”: This Is Going to Be A Holiday Season That None Of Us Will Ever Forget

Welcome To The “New Normal”: This Is Going to Be A Holiday Season That None Of Us Will Ever Forget- by Michael Snyder - http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/welcome-to-the-new-normal-this-is-going-to-be-a-holiday-season-that-none-of-us-will-ever-forget/ We seem to have entered a nightmare that does not appear to have an ending. Earlier this year, many of the “experts” assured us that the U.S. economy would be “booming” by the end of 2021, but that didn’t turn out to be true at all. Instead, we are dealing with widespread shortages, the worst inflation since the 1970s, and the most epic supply chain crisis in the history of the United States. So this year, we are all goingto have a “new normal” holiday season. The upcoming holidays may not be quite what you have become accustomed to, but the elite are still trying to put a positive spin on things. For example, CNN is encouraging us to look on the bright side by assuring us that we “won’t have to cancel Thanksgiving” even though store shelves are increasingly bare… If you’ve been noticing emptier shelves when shopping for Thanksgiving, you’re not alone. But you won’t have to cancel Thanksgiving. The shortages of 2020 were supposed to be long gone by now, but instead the shortages of 2021 are far worse. If you doubt this, just check out these availability numbersfor some of our most important Thanksgiving staples… During that first week of November, whole bird frozen, fixed-weight turkeys were in stock at a rate of 64% on average across national retailers, IRI found. This time lastyear, that figure was around 86%. IRI data didn’t include seasonal fresh turkey. Last week, many Americans who were buying turkey early were buying frozen birds. Availability of packaged pie was roughly 68% that week, compared to 78% in 2020. Liquid gravy, with an in-stock rate of 73%, is down about 12 percentage points comparedto last year. Cranberry sauce, with 79% availability, is down from 89% in that same period. I still remember the “good old days” when every store had turkeys and pies. Will we ever see such days again? There is a shortage of Christmas trees too. It is being reported that the U.S. is now facing a significant shortage of both real and fake Christmas trees… Anyone planning on purchasing a Christmas tree this year should act fast, according to experts. Extreme weather and supply chain issues caused by the ongoing pandemic have led to shortages in both real and faux trees, according to the American Christmas Tree Association. A shortage of fake Christmas trees? Oh the humanity! How will we possibly survive? In addition to a lack of trees, CBS News is telling us that a number of other things will also be in very short supply over the next couple of months… -Clothing and accessories -Apple iPhone 13 -Sportswear -L.O.L. Surprise! toys -Alcohol -Jewelry -PS5 and Xbox gaming consoles -Christmas lights Of course these shortages shouldn’t really surprise anyone, because it seems like there are shortages of just about everything these days. For instance, the shortage of garage doors has become so severe that builders in Sacramento are now being permitted to board up the garages of newly built homes… The city of Sacramento will now allow garages to be boarded up in new homes, if the garage doors are not delivered in time. Its a response to the shortage of garage doors caused by rampant supply chain problems. Sadly, a lot of other things will be getting boarded up in the months ahead as our economy continues to crumble. A little over a year ago, Joe Biden promised voters that prices would go down and our standard of living would go up if he won the election. Apparently he must have been campaigning in “Bizarro World” at the time, because what we have actually gotten has been the exact opposite. And things aren’t going to be getting better any time soon. At this point, even Goldman Sachs is publicly admitting that inflation “will get worse this winter”… “The current inflation surge will get worse this winter before it gets better,” Goldman Sachs Global Investment Research warns clients in a “2022 U.S. Economic Outlook.” This is the weirdest economy that I have ever seen in the entire time that I have been writing, and the American people are becoming increasingly restless. In fact, the latest ABC News-Washington Post poll found that 70 percent of all Americans now rate the economy negatively. So there is certainly a lot of bad news out there right now. But I am going to end this article with some good news. We just learned that implementation and enforcement of the OSHA mandate has been officially suspended. The following comes from the official OSHA website… On November 12, 2021, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit granted a motion to stay OSHA’s COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Emergency Temporary Standard, publishedon November 5, 2021 (86 Fed. Reg. 61402) (“ETS”). The court ordered that OSHA “take no steps to implement or enforce” the ETS “until further court order.” While OSHA remains confident in its authority to protect workers in emergencies, OSHA has suspended activitiesrelated to the implementation and enforcement of the ETS pending future developments in the litigation. As litigation proceeds, things could still change. But for now, this deeply insidious unconstitutional mandate has officially been put on hold. And that is something that all of us should be truly thankful for, because the OSHA mandate could have forced millions of hard working Americans out of their jobs earlynext year. So despite the widespread shortages we are witnessing, the painful inflation we are enduring and the supply chain problems that never seem to end, we have a great deal tobe thankful for this Thanksgiving. At least for now, millions of jobs have been saved, and the U.S. economy has avoided an absolutely devastating blow. Making the Right Choice

Making the Right Choice A quotation recently struck me as timely: "Your journey is not the same as mine, and my journey is not yours, but if you meet me on a certain path, may we encourage each other." God says to His people in Deuteronomy 30:19: "I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live." God gives humanity the power of choice, butwe do not all—like a box of yellow pencils, identical in form and function—think alike. We may hold a variety of opinions. We agree that we must follow God's clear commands, but a Christian stance on some issues may be harder to determine, which means we mustlearn to make our own judgments. Each of us has a responsibility to live in a way that glorifies God, conforms to His Word, satisfies our consciences, and brings peace and prosperity to our families. But every person in the church has a different background. God's elect may be men or women, young or old, rich or poor, healthy or sickly, first-generationChristians or descended from a long line of baptized members. We like different foods, music, colors, and styles. Some of us are college-educated, some have advanced degrees, and some left school early to support their families. Some work 9-to-5 jobs, someare self-employed, some unemployed, and some retired. We are all different with distinct points of view, but we are also all members of the same heavenly Family. An event from God's Word may help our understanding in this area. King David gave his son, Solomon, the plans for building the Temple, which God had directly given to him (see I Chronicles 28:11-19). When Solomon started construction, the white limestone blocks were not hewn on the building site but precisely cut and shaped elsewhere (I Kings6:7). They were then brought to the Temple location where they were laid in place, fitting perfectly together. God is doing exactly this with each of us. We are the stones He is using to construct His spiritual Temple (see I Peter 2:5). He has known us since before the world was (Ephesians 1:4-5), and He is preparing us for a position in His Temple (Revelation3:12). It is a cooperative effort (Philippians 2:12-13). He is perfectly specifying our proportions (see Ephesians 4:7-16), and by our choices, He is shaping us to fit perfectly into our pre-ordained place in His Temple. Jesus said He went to prepare a place for us in His Father's house (John 14:2-3), and as Head of the church, He is likewise preparingus for that place. With this understanding, notice Paul's teaching in Romans 14 (New International Version): Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters. One person's faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the onewho does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them. Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand. . . . You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat. . . . So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God. Therefore let us stop passing judgmenton one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister. (Romans 14:1-4, 10, 12-13) Paul instructs that vegetarianism does not break one of the Ten Commandments or any "lesser" laws. In fact, he says that he would join his vegetarian brethren if it meant their salvation. In I Corinthians 8:8, 13, he writes, "But food does not commend us to God; for neither if we eat are we the better, nor if we do not eat are we the worse. . . . Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never again eat meat, lest I make my brotherstumble." On the passage in Romans 14, Matthew Henry insightfully comments: Differences of opinion prevailed even among the immediate followers of Christ and their disciples. Nor did St. Paul attempt to end them. Compelled assent to any doctrine, or conformity to outward observances without being convinced, would behypocritical and of no avail. Attempts for producing absolute oneness of mind among Christians would be useless. . . . Let not the Christian who uses his liberty, despise his weak brother as ignorant and superstitious. Let not the scrupulous believer find fault with his brother, for God accepted him, without regarding the distinctions of [foods]. We usurp theplace of God, when we take upon us thus to judge the thoughts and intentions of others, which are out of our view. . . . We are all apt to make our own views the standard of truth, to deem things certain which to others appear doubtful. The Bible is dogmatic about certain core doctrines like salvation by grace, the place of His law, the divinity of Christ, God's election, and other teachings we must follow, but we are left to decide how to understand other issues—especiallymodern ones that the Bible does not address—with principles we glean from His Word. God provides His ministry to give knowledge and direction, but within their guidelines, we are to make decisions and live our lives in the best way possible. We will reap theresults of our judgments, good or bad, throughout our lives. We hope our choices—and thus our lives—set a godly example that helps others live properly before God. Over its modern history, the church has encountered issues on which the Bible does not contain a "thus says the Lord" scripture: fashion, makeup, vaccinations, voting, smoking, healthcare, and a slew of others. Some of these the church has ruledon, yet others remain personal choices. On these latter issues, not all within our fellowship come to the same conclusions despite using the same biblical principles. Notwithstanding, we must allow others the space to decide for themselves. We may have strong beliefs about such disputed matters, but we cannot condemn a brother who believes strongly in a direction different from our own. Paul warns us to "avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife" (IITimothy 2:23). We need to be aware of the fine line between James 5:19-20, which tells us that, if we turn a brother from the error of his ways, we will save him from death, and Jesus' words in Matthew 7:1, "Judge not, that you be not judged." Often, the best play is to persuade others, not by argument or ostracism, but by setting a good example and leaving the changing of their minds to God. Each of us must examine the principles God lays out for us in His Word and make the best choices possible, which is our God-given privilege to exercise. God uses the decisions we make to shape and prepare us for our specific positions in Hishouse. He alone has the wisdom to see the results of our judgments, and He uses His sovereignty to guide us by His Spirit to prepare for the office He desires us to inherit. During times of controversy, every member must make decisions based on his or herunderstanding and not condemn the decisions of others. In so doing, we will allow our Savior the greatest room to bring all of us to eternal life in His Kingdom. VISIT: PROPHECY WATCHER WEEKLY NEWS: HTTP://PROPHECY-WATCHER-WEEKLY-NEWS.BLOGSPOT.COM

It Has Begun – Get Ready to Pay Much Higher Prices for Meat From Now On

It Has Begun – Get Ready to Pay Much Higher Prices for Meat From Now On - by Michael Snyder – http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/it-has-begun-get-ready-to-pay-much-higher-prices-for-meat-from-now-on/ The era of cheap meat is over. For those that are carnivores, that is really bad news. For decades, Americans have been able to count on the fact that there would alwaysbe mountains of very inexpensive meat at the local grocery store, but now those days are gone and they aren’t coming back. As I was writing this introductory paragraph, it struck me that what is happening to meat prices actually parallels what I wrote aboutyesterday. Just as the left doesn’t want us to use traditional forms of energy because they believe that doing so is “bad” for the climate, so they also detest that a lot of us like to eat a lot of meat because the production of meat causes levels of certaingreenhouse gases to rise. Sometimes we joke about the methane that comes from “cow farts”, but radicals on the left take this stuff deadly seriously. And at the same time that gasoline prices are soaring into the stratosphere, the exact same thing is happeningto meat prices. In fact, we just learned that the price of beef in the U.S. has risen more than 20 percent since last October… Behind unleaded gasoline, beef prices have risen the most on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) since October 2020, rising 20.1% in the past year, according to the Bureau ofLabor Statistics. An increase of over 20 percent in one year is deeply alarming. Unfortunately, it isn’t just the price of beef that is soaring. Tyson Foods just released some new numbers which show that beef, pork and chicken prices are all rising dramatically… The biggest meat company by sales in the United States has announced significant price rises for the fourth quarter, as the impact of the highest inflation for 30 yearscontinues to be felt. Tyson Foods, based in Springdale, Arkansas, announced on Monday that chicken prices rose 19 percent during its fiscal fourth quarter, while beef and pork prices jumped 33percent and 38 percent, respectively. During the early portion of this crisis, Tyson Foods was reluctant to pass increasing costs along to consumers, but now we are being informed that they don’t intend to makethe same mistake again… Stewart Glendinning, the chief financial officer of Tyson Foods, said that they have been slow to increase their prices, in line with inflation, but are now making up forthe delay. ‘We expect to take continued pricing actions to ensure that any inflationary cost increases that our business incurs are passed along,’ he said, on the company’s quarterlyearnings call. Sadly, this is just the beginning. The price of meat is only going to go higher from here, and eventually it will get to a point where meat prices become exceedingly painful. Of course there are many that would argue that we are already there. As food prices continue to climb, those that help the needy are going to have a much more difficult time trying to do so. For example, the Salvation Army is projecting that it will need 50 percent more funding than last year as it feeds more Americans than ever before… The Salvation Army is planning to serve more meals than in 2020’s record year, and will need around 50% more funding to meet the buoyed demand, Hodder said. He expects rentaland utilities assistance to lead the pack of requested aid. “We’re fearful of what we’re calling ‘pandemic poverty,’” Hodder said. The price of gasoline continues to shoot up as well. On Tuesday, the average price of gasoline in California set a new record high for the third day in a row… Gas prices in California have broken a new record with an average price tag of $4.687 for a regular gallon as of Tuesday morning, according to the American Automobile Association. It was the third day in a row the state has recorded record breaking prices as Monday’s average gas price was $4.682 and Sunday’s was $4.676 which broke the previous staterecord of $4.671 in October 2012. Needless to say, the price of gasoline is quite a bit higher than that in certain urban areas. In downtown Los Angeles, one unfortunate motorist ended up paying more than six dollars a gallon on Monday… Brian Sproule squinted against the sun on Monday as he examined the price board at a Chevron station in downtown Los Angeles, where a regular gallon of gas was $6.05. Sproule, 37, is a mobile notary who spends much of his time in his car. He said he’s used to spending about $40 to fill his tank, but by the time he capped off his HyundaiElantra, the meter displayed a whopping $71.59. Can you imagine paying that much for gasoline? Don’t think that it can’t happen where you live. Eventually, everyone in the entire country will be seeing such prices. As “Bidenflation” makes headlines day after day, U.S. consumers are becoming increasingly pessimistic. Just check out the latest consumer confidence number released by theUniversity of Michigan… The University of Michigan’s consumer sentiment index fell to 66.8 in November – down sharply from the October reading of 71.7 and well below economists’ forecast for areading of 72.4. “Consumer sentiment fell in early November to its lowest level in a decade due to an escalating inflation rate and the growing belief among consumers that no effective policieshave yet been developed to reduce the damage from surging inflation,” Richard Curtin, the survey’s chief economist, said in a statement. Americans haven’t been this negative about the economy in a really long time. And it is becoming increasingly clear that things are going to get even worse in the months ahead. Our leaders continue to promise that they will make progress on the problemsthat we are facing, but those problems just keep on escalating. In fact, the number of giant container ships waiting off the coast of southern California just hit another new record high… On Friday and Monday, yet another record was set for the number of container ships stuck at anchor or in holding patterns off the ports: 83. The average wait time at anchorfor ships arriving in Los Angeles hit yet another fresh peak on Tuesday: 16.9 days. That really surprises me. Despite all of the national attention, and despite the fact that the Biden administration has gotten directly involved, the nightmare at the ports in southern Californiajust continues to intensify. If we can’t even figure out how to get stuff unloaded and moved across the country in a timely manner, what hope do we have of properly addressing our more complex economicproblems? As our economy is shaken by crisis after crisis, millions upon millions of families all over the nation are deeply suffering. But of course not everyone is doing badly these days. It turns out that the vaccine manufacturers are laughing all the way to the bank… The People’s Vaccine Alliance (PVA), an international non-profit working to close the global vaccine disparity, analyzed the earnings reports of Pfizer, BioNTech and Modernaand found that the companies will make a combined $34 billion in profit this year. When broken down, that is $93.5 million a day, $65,000 a minute and more than $1,000 every second of profit. When I look at those numbers, they literally make me want to vomit. The greed that we are witnessing has reached a level that is absolutely breathtaking. But this is what happens when the moral foundation of a society completely collapses. In about a month and a half, 2021 will be over and 2022 will be here. 2021 has been bad, but I believe that 2022 will be even worse. So I would encourage you to make preparations for a very rough year, because the days ahead are not going to be pretty. Pope Pokes Armageddon Button

Pope Pokes Armageddon Button – Terry James - https://www.raptureready.com/category/nearing-midnight/ Nothing currently in view in geopolitics or even in socioeconomics or religious developments more clearly points to the lateness of the prophetic hour than the pope’s recenttreacherous dealings with God’s chosen nation. This pontiff has consistently and persistently poked his papal finger into the center of Israeli affairs as pertains to that nation’s dealings with its blood-vowed enemies. This isn’t particularly surprising, due to the fact that the Vatican, whomever the pope, looks at Israel as having lost any and all rights to claims of God’s prophetic promises. This so-called Vicar of Christ continues to expand the boundaries of the Catholic Church’s replacement theology. That is, he continues to perpetuate the false declaration that the Catholic Church has replaced the Jews and the nation of Israel in God’s view, because the Jews rejected and murdered Christ. In the Vatican’s view—and that regime is a government as much as any other—Israel today is no more than another government. And in many ways, the Catholic Church—like Israel’ssurrounding enemy nations and, in fact, much of the world—looks at the Jewish state as an illegitimate “occupier” of land belonging to the so-called Palestinians. This is the prevailing, hostile attitude of almost all of the national entities making up theUnited Nations. Votes in that body consistently go against Israel when given the opportunities. There have been times that, if not for the United States having a total veto on votes taken in the UN, Israel, if Heaven were not involved, would have long ago likely notsurvived as a national entity. Of course, we know that is an impossibility. God has said the following. And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to yourdescendants after you. And I will give to you and to your descendants after you, the land of your sojourning, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. (Genesis 17:7–8) But, not unlike our own state department as of late, this pope has no qualms about treating Israel like the proverbial red-headed stepchild. Without invitation by anyonein charge of Israeli affairs—as far as has been divulged—Pope Francis is perpetrating perhaps the one evil against God’s chosen nation that could prompt the Almighty to bring about His wrath on a cataclysmic scale. The story of that unwelcomed papal intrusion is seen through the following news item. Pope Francis met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday. At the meeting, the Pope emphasized the importance of the “Two-State Solution” which wouldcreate an unprecedented Arab state inside of Israel’s borders, ethnically cleansed of Jews, with its capital in the section of Jerusalem containing Judaism’s holiest site.… The talk “stressed that it is absolutely necessary to reactivate direct dialogue in order to achieve a two-state solution, also with the help of more vigorous effort onthe part of the international community.”… The term “Abrahamic religions” took on a specific meaning when the Pope led a “Prayer of the sons and daughters of Abraham” at the Great Ziggurat of Ur in Iraq which ispurported by some to be the birthplace of Biblical Abraham. Despite the title of the event implying that all of Abraham’s offspring would be represented, the event brought together Muslims, Catholics, and Christians but no Jews were present. The Pope presented Abbas with a copy of the Document on Human Fraternity, which he signed with the Grand Imam of Al Azhar in Abu Dhabi in 2019. The document has been widelycriticized as advocating for a one-world-religion, combining Catholicism and Islam. (“Pope meets Abbas, wants to divide Israel and give Temple Mount to Arabs, Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz, Israel365news, 11/5/21) The pope’s actions, again, point to the lateness of the prophetic hour. We consistently examine all the issues and events and developments in every aspect of things goingon today as the Tribulation era looms heavily on history’s horizon. No sign is more indicative of just how close that time of God’s holy judgment and wrath is than this attempt to divide god’s beloved land of promise. For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down intothe valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. (Joel 3:1–2) For the Christian, this is not a reason to fear punishment that will lead to Armageddon. That time of wrath is reserved for those who want to divide Israel. This actionby the pope and other globalist elites, in fact, means that Christ’s call to the true Church—all born-again believers in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ for salvation—must be right at the door. He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. An Appeal to Prophecy

AnAppeal to Prophecy By Hal Lindsey In the last few years, there has been a disturbing movement in the Church to disregard or even disavow the Old Testament. It’s part of a misguided attemptto make God’s message more “agreeable” to modern minds. But Jesus and the New Testament are intrinsically linked to the Old Testament. The Lord tied His own credibility to that of the Old Testament. He proved His authenticity through an appeal to Old Testamentprophecy. In John 5:39, Jesus said to the religious leaders of His day, “You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these arethey which testify of Me.” [NKJV] Luke 24:27 describes how Jesus spoke to the two disciples on the road to Emmaus. It says, “Beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained tothem what was said in all the Scriptures concerning Himself.” [NIV] The New Testament hadn’t been written down yet. Jesus showed them how He had been revealed in the Old Testament. Through the prophets, God had longbefore given key details about the life of Jesus. According to GotQuestions.org, “Conservatively, Jesus fulfilled at least 300 prophecies in His earthly ministry.” That number is indeed conservative. The real number may be closer 500. Use of Old Testament prophecy in the presentation of the Gospel began with the first sermon of the Church age. On the day of Pentecost, Peter beganhis sermon with a long quote from the Book of Job. The authenticity of the Christian message is rooted in the prophetic message of the Old Testament. Revelation 19:10 says, “The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” [NKJV] In Acts 10, Peter preached another historic sermon. In bringing Gentiles into the Christian fold, Peter said of Jesus, “He is the one all the prophetstestified about.” [New Living Translation] This time, Peter was not preaching to Jewish believers, but to Gentiles. Yet he still linked Jesus to the prophetic message of the Old Testament. Many who want to witness for Jesus have been tied up in knots because they keep hearing that you can only use the Bible when speaking to people whoalready believe. Hebrews 4:12 proves that wrong. It says, “The word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intentsof the heart.” [NKJV] A surgeon doesn’t have to convince his patient that his scalpel is sharp. He uses the scalpel no matter what the patient believes. We should wield theword with that same confidence. It is alive and sharp, piercing to the innermost parts of human beings — including unbelievers. If you love Jesus, don’t throw away the great and precious Old Testament record of God’s actions, His words, and even His thoughts. That record testifiesof Him. Biblical Patterns Set the Stage

Biblical Patterns Set the Stage - By Jeff Van Hatten - https://www.raptureready.com/2021/11/13/biblical-patterns-set-the-stage-by-jeff-van-hatten/ There is a Biblical standard of first mention that sets the pattern for future similar events, and these initial patterns are essential for understanding Yahweh’s messageto the people of the world and are quite frequently noted in scripture. Parallels, patterns, pictures, and types are the backbone of scripture, which informs us that prophetic patterns are cyclical: what has happened in the past is bound to happen in the future! With this statement, scholars, teachers, pastors, and laypeople are in agreement, and there is little to no disagreement – well, almost no disagreement! Let’s examine further: The Tabernacle and Yeshua The tabernacle and its instruments are formed after the heavenly pattern (Exodus 25:9-40, Numbers 8:4). David proclaims that the entire Temple pattern was given to him bythe spirit (1 Chronicles 28:19). Hebrews 8:5 puts it this way: “They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven.” This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything accordingto the pattern shown you on the mountain.” Yeshua is the pattern that we are to follow (1 Timothy 1:16). Abraham, Isaac, and Yeshua Abraham being called out of Ur and pagan idolatry into a relationship with Yahweh is a pattern for all humans to be called out of sin and into the kingdom of Yahweh. Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice Isaac on Mount Moriah is a pattern of Yahweh’s willingness to sacrifice Yeshua, again on Mount Moriah. The patterns are unmistakable:Isaac was the only son of his father Abraham; Isaac was sent to Mount Moriah, the present site of the Temple Mount; Isaac carried the wood upon which he would be sacrificed as an offering to God; A lamb replaced Isaac as the sacrifice. Yeshua is also the onlyson of his Father, Yahweh; Yeshua also goes to Mount Moriah; Yeshua also carries the cross (wood) upon which he was sacrificed as an offering to God; Yeshua is the lamb that is sacrificed. Joseph and Yeshua Joseph is a pattern of Yeshua. Joseph is rejected by his family, sold into slavery, becomes the right hand of Pharaoh, is not recognized by his brothers, and saves his familyfrom starvation. Joseph in Pharaoh’s court to guarantee the survival of the Jews is a pattern of Yeshua in the heavenly court to guarantee our eternal survival. Joshua and Yeshua Hoshea’s name (he saves) is changed to Joshua (Yahweh saves) by Moses, thus denoting that Yahweh is salvation; Israel did not enter the Promised Land under the leadershipof Moses, who represents the Law; Israel enters the Promised Land under the leadership of Joshua; Israel enters the Promised Land on the third day after being instructed how to cross the River Jordan; Israel enters the Promised Land about 2000 cubits behindthe Ark of the Covenant; When the Priests entered the Jordan, the water backed up all the way to the city of Zaretan (their distress) and to the city of Adam; After crossing, Joshua circumcised them. Yeshua is the Savior; The promises cannot be obtained under the Law: the Law cannot bring salvation; Believers enter the Promised Land through Yeshua, The Savior; We arenow at the start of the third day since Yeshua rose into Heaven; We are now about 2000 cubits behind our Ark, Yeshua; Yeshua’s blood washed away the sin and distress of mankind all the way to Adam; Yeshua circumcises our hearts. Ruth, Boaz, and Yeshua The story of Ruth has been called “The Romance of Redemption” wherein Naomi, a Jewish woman from Bethlehem, and a Gentile [Moabite] woman, Ruth, return to Bethlehem. Upontheir return, Boaz falls in love with Ruth and marries her. Naomi represents the role of Israel, destitute and alone, not yet recognizing her Messiah Yeshua; Ruth represents the Gentile bride of Yeshua; and Boaz represents the Kinsman Redeemer, Yeshua. The Bronze Serpent Yeshua had to be lifted up just as the serpent was lifted up (John 3:14-15). The bronze serpent was a pattern – those who looked to the bronze serpent were healed of disease. All who look to Yeshua are given eternal life. Melchizedek Melchizedek is a pattern of Yeshua as both King of Salem (King of Peace) and High Priest. He sets the stage for Yeshua: “You are a priest forever, to be compared with Melchizedek” (Psalm 110:4; Hebrews 5:6-10, 6:20, and 7:1-17). The Pattern of Destruction The Flood of Noah’s time wreaked utter destruction upon the earth: “the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished” (2 Peter 3:6). Genesis 7:10 puts it thisway: “After seven days the water flooded the earth,” and Genesis 7:21 states clearly: “All living beings that moved on the earth perished – birds, livestock, other animals, insects, and every human being.” This is a pattern of the coming destruction by fire: “The heavens and the earth are reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men,” says2 Peter 3:7. 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8 puts it this way: “When Yeshua will be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, he will take vengeance on them that know not Yahweh.” 2 Peter 3:10 is just as blunt, saying: “On The Day of Yahweh the heavenswill disappear with a roar, the elements will melt and disintegrate, and the earth and everything in it will be burned up.” So we have a pattern of the earth being utterly destroyed – first by water, next by fire. The Pattern of Bodily Raptures The sons of the prophets and Elisha watched Elijah climb into the chariot of fire pulled by horses, which took him up to the clouds (2 Kings 2:11-12) – he didn’t just disappearor vanish out of sight. The apostles visibly watched as Yeshua ascended (Acts 1:9-11) – he didn’t just disappear or vanish out of sight either. The same pattern we are told in Revelation applies to the Two Witnesses when they will be raptured – and the wordingstates clearly that “they rose to heaven in a cloud as their enemies watched” (Revelation 11:12). So we have a pattern of bodily raptures being witnessed. The Pattern of Forty Forty is a key number in scripture. The Hebrew slaves took forty years between their “resurrection” from the graves of Egypt to get “raptured’ to the promised land. Thisfirst mention of forty after “resurrection” sets the pattern. Yeshua (and the Holy Ones) spent forty days witnessing after his resurrection before he was raptured (second mention of forty). So we have a pattern of forty connected to resurrection, then rapture. The Patterns Thus Far Hold True The patterns of scripture set the stage for future similar events. On this there is much agreement. •The Patterns of Abraham, Isaac, and Yeshua, of Joseph and Yeshua, of Joshua and Yeshua, of Ruth, Boaz, and Yeshua have all held true. •The Patterns of The Bronze Serpent and Melchizedek have also held true. •The Pattern of Destruction will hold true – first water, then fire. Of this there can be no doubt. •The Pattern of Bodily Raptures has thus far held true, and we are told it will hold true for the Two Witnesses of Revelation – it will undoubtedlyhold true for other similar future events. •The Pattern of Forty has thus far held true – it will undoubtedly hold true for similar future events. The Pattern of the Jewish Bride A Jewish Wedding Ceremony is full of significant rituals and is a perfect prophetic parallel of the coming of Yeshua to take his church to be his Bride, a dress rehearsalfor The Rapture. The patterns of leaving the father’s home to find a bride, paying the bride price, and returning to build an addition have thus far all held true. When the Jewish father tells his son to go get his bride, the bridegroom and his friends goto a place near her home and then carry her from her house to his in full view of all the neighbors who have been awakened by their shouting and blowing of the shofars and who are now watching the procession. •It is a safe bet to believe that those who are resurrected or still living in Yeshua when our Heavenly Father gives Yeshua permission to go get hisbride will also have a time of witnessing before their rapture, shall we say – forty days? – that’s what the Patterns of Forty indicate! •It is a safe bet to believe that when Yahweh gives Yeshua permission to go get his bride, his Bride will also be clearly visible as they are takenup – that’s what both the Pattern of Bodily Raptures and the Pattern of The Jewish Bride indicate! I Have a Question: Why the Disconnect? Hosea 12:10 – “I have spoken to the prophets; it was I who gave vision after vision; through the prophets I gave examples to show what it would all be like.” Romans 15:4 – “It is written that ‘Everything that was written in the past was written for our instruction’…so that we may have hope.” 1 Corinthians 10:11 – “These things happened to them as patterns, and they were written down as a warning to us who are living in the end of the ages.” The patterns hold true throughout history, both past and future. Scripture interprets scripture and says: x and y are given as examples. The patterns indicate that pastpatterns will be similar in the future. So, then, why do so many teach that the patterns do not apply to the rapture of the Bride of Yeshua? Why the disconnect? Can you give me an answer to this conundrum? Parallels and patterns are one of the methods that Yahweh uses to teach us, as stated in both the Romans and Corinthians passages above. Patterns set the stage for futuresimilar events, and these initial patterns are essential for understanding Yahweh’s message. With this statement, scholars, teachers, pastors, and laypeople are in agreement, and there is little to no disagreement, no disconnect, except when it comes to therapture patterns. This failure to apply the same standard to all the above patterns is impossible for me to understand! If the patterns of Abraham, Isaac, Yeshua; Joseph and Yeshua; Joshuaand Yeshua; Ruth, Boaz, and Yeshua; The Bronze Serpent; Melchizedek; Destruction; and Forty all hold true, then how dare we then dismiss the patterns of Bodily Raptures and the Jewish Bride and teach that these patterns will not hold true as well? Why thedisconnect? Can you give me an answer to this conundrum? Is Yahweh schizophrenic? I think not. What do you say? This Is How They Intend to Get Us To “You Will Own Nothing And Be Happy”

This Is How They Intend to Get Us To “You Will Own Nothing And Be Happy” - by Michael Snyder - http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/this-is-how-they-intend-to-achieve-you-will-own-nothing-and-be-happy/ The pieces of the puzzle may fit together in ways that you do not expect. For years, the global elite have been openly telling us that one day we will all own nothing, wewill have no privacy, and we will be extremely happy with our new socialist utopia. But exactly how do they intend to transition to such a society? Are they going to come and take all of your stuff? Needless to say, there are millions upon millions of veryangry people out there that aren’t just going to hand over their stuff to a bunch of socialists. So how are they going to overcome that obstacle? Well, the truth is that they don’t need to take your stuff to implement their goals. All they need to do is to destroy the value of your money. If your money becomes worthless, you will start descending into poverty and it won’t be too long before you become totally dependent on the government. And as the stuff that you have right now wears out, you won’t be able to replace it with the worthless money that you are now holding. Eventually, you will own virtually nothing, but you probably won’t be very happy about it. So high inflation is actually a tool that the global elite can use to further their goals. The good news is that I do not believe that the global elite will ever be able to achieve their utopia. The bad news is that they won’t be able to achieve their utopia because western society is going to completely and utterly collapse during the times that are ahead. But for now, inflation is going to be one of the hottest political issues as we head into 2022. On Friday, Vice-President Kamala Harris acknowledged that higher prices arehaving a huge impact on American families… “Prices have gone up and families and individuals are dealing with the realities of the bread costs more, the gas costs more, and have to understand what that means,” shesaid. “That’s about the cost of living going up. That’s about having to stress and stretch limited resources.” Harris said that is a “source of stress for families” that is “not only economic, but is, on a daily level, something that is a heavy weight to carry.” Of course her “solution” is to get Joe Biden’s agenda through Congress, and she knows that all of that spending will inevitably create even more inflation. The socialists over at NBC News are trying to help the Biden administration by putting a positive spin on the inflation crisis. In fact, NBC’s Stephanie Ruhle is tryingreally hard to convince everyone that inflation is not a problem because we all have more money to spend these days. But as I demonstrated last week, the truth is that inflation is rising much faster than our paychecks are, and that means that our standard of living is going down. And inflation is one of the big reasons why the University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index just hit the lowest level since 2011… At the same time, the University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index tumbled to 66.8 for November, according to a preliminary reading Friday. That was the lowest sinceNovember 2011 and well below the Dow Jones estimate of 72.5. October’s reading was 71.7, meaning that the November level represented a 6.8% drop. If you are among those that think that things are bad now, just wait, because they will soon get even worse. At this point, even Neel Kashkari is publicly admitting that inflation is going to continue to rise in the months ahead… Minneapolis Fed Chair Neel Kashkari on Sunday said inflation in the U.S. will likely see “higher readings” before numbers taper off, as Americans grapple with rising pricesnationwide. “The math suggests we’re probably going to see somewhat higher readings over the next few months before they likely start to taper off,” Kashkari said during an appearanceon CBS’s “Face the Nation.” The Federal Reserve has lost control, and 2022 is going to be a very “interesting” year from an economic standpoint. On Sunday, we learned that the average price of a gallon of gasoline in California has almost reached five dollars… California gas prices hit an average of $4.676 Sunday, beating its previous record average price of $4.671 for regular gasoline set in October 2012, according to AAA. Gasoline prices are going to continue to move higher, and that is really bad news. Just about everything that we buy has to be transported, and so higher gasoline prices are going to fuel even more inflation. Sadly, those that are on the bottom of the economic food chain are the ones that are being hurt the most. At this point, many food banks are really struggling to purchaseenough food because price hikes have become so severe… America’s largest food bank struggles to feed people amid a perfect storm of surging food prices and supply chain woes. Katie Fitzgerald, COO of Feeding America, a nonprofit organization that operates more than 200 food banks across the country, told AP News that her network of food banksis already stretched thin due to the unprecedented demand spurred by the virus pandemic downturn in the economy last year. She warned that it has become more difficult for her organization to absorb food inflation, resulting in fewer families being fed thisholiday season. Used farm equipment is another area where inflation is hitting really hard. According to one index, the price of used farm equipment was up 22 percent during the first nine months of 2021… The index is up 22% in the first nine months of the year and poised to make its biggest gains yet in the fourth quarter, a boom that’s turning a normally quiet corner ofthe farming market into Exhibit A of the inflation surge coursing through the U.S. economy. The market has all the ingredients fueling inflation in industries like cars and TVs — soaring demand from cash-flush buyers, the semiconductor shortage, congestedports and rails — with the added irritant of the labor stoppage at the world’s largest farm-machine maker. The match “is now lit,” Peterson says, “and it’s lit while there’s a John Deere strike.” So many problems have converged all at once. Some have used the term “a perfect storm” to describe what we are facing, and I think that is definitely quite appropriate. If you are waiting for life to “get back to normal”, you are going to be waiting for a very long time. As MN Gordon has noted, pre-2020 prices are now gone forever… Pre-2020 prices, much like pre-1965 prices, are gone forever. Deficits of $5.9 trillion over the 24 months ending September 30, 2021, and a Fed balance sheet expansion ofnearly $5 trillion over the same period, have irrevocably damaged the entire pricing structure of the financial system and the economy. Price inflation is on the move. Reality can no longer be covered up with Washington’s lies. We expect this episode of inflation will be one for the history books. I wish that I had better news for you. I really do. But sooner or later, this is what socialist regimes always do. They tell us to study hard, get a good job and work as hard as we can. And then they give our money to people that haven’t done any of those things. Eventually they run out of other people’s money, and so then they just start wildly creating more. Unfortunately, every time that this has been tried throughout history it has always ended in disaster, and now it is our turn. The Most Ignored Verse in the Bible

The Most Ignored Verse in the Bible – Jonathan Brentner - https://www.jonathanbrentner.com/https/jonathan-brentner-g8fgsquarespacecom/config/2021/11/15/the-most-ignored-verse-in-the-bible If I were to cite this verse for any Bible-believing saint, he or she would immediately affirm a belief in what it says. Yet, most Christians today not only ignore the message of this verse, but live as though it’s not true. What is the verse that’s so overlooked, so disregarded by so many in the church today? It’s 1 Corinthians 15:19, “If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are ofall people most to be pitied.” Many believers, particularly in America, live with a one-world focus that assumes their Gospel hope for just this life is sufficient to carry them through its ups and downs. But how long can a perspective that ignores our glorious eternal hope sustain one in the midst of tragedies and tribulations without opening the door of one’s heart to doubt and despair? Not long. Not long at all. In his daily devotional book, Restoration Year, John Eldredge wrote this for November 11, “Most Christians have no solid grip at all on their future; they are fixated completelyand entirely on the present moment. But we cannot live without a future . . . . Without a glorious hope blazing in your heart, you will be crushed by the pain of the world.” Most sermons today not only discount the realities of eternity, but rather reflect a sanctified version of Joel Osteen’s book, Your Best Life Now. When we look in Scripture, however, we see a drastically different emphasis, one that highlights the truths of 1 Corinthians 15:19. JESUS LINKED BELIEF IN HIMSELF WITH ETERNAL LIFE Jesus again and again linked belief in Himself with eternal life (see John 3:15-16; 5:24, 39-40; 6:40; 10:27-28; 11:24-27; 14:1-6). One cannot miss the forever aspect ofHis teaching. He died so that we might inherit eternal life. He never promised us a great life before then, but warned of tribulation (John 16:33). After her brother Lazarus died, Martha expressed a belief in his future resurrection as she spoke to Jesus about his death. In response, “Jesus said, ‘I am the resurrectionand the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lies and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?’” (John 11:25-26). The Lord wanted Martha’s focus to be on the future resurrection of all believers, evenas she watched the Lord raise her brother from the dead. The last recorded words that Jesus spoke to His church were these, “Surely I am coming quickly” (Revelation 22:20). If His imminent appearing was so important to Jesus thatit became His last words to the church, should it not also be on our lips as we navigate through the heartaches and pains of life? PAUL TAUGHT HIS NEW CONVERTS AT THESSALONICA TO EXPECT JESUS’ SOON APPEARING Journey back in time with me as the apostle Paul proclaims the Gospel in the city of Thessalonica. His success at winning many to Jesus there created much jealousy amongthe Jews who forced him to leave town much earlier than he planned (Acts 17:1-9). Despite Paul’s short stay in the city, which ended in a riot, consider how he instructed these babes in the Christian faith. He taught them . . . •To expect Jesus’ soon appearing (1 Thessalonians 1:9-10), which resulted in the Thessalonian converts mistakenly believing it would occur in theirlifetime rather than that it could happen before they died (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17). •The details of the event we now refer to as the “Rapture” (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17). Paul only needed to add details concerning the fate of the “deadin Christ” during it. •The “times and seasons” of the end times. Because they knew all about the signs of the end, the apostle did not need to provide them with more informationregarding them (1 Thessalonians 5:1). •All about the Day of the Lord (1 Thessalonians 5:2), would have included in-depth teaching from several Old Testament prophets such as Isaiah, Zephaniah, and Joel. •The surprise beginning of the wrath of the Day of the Lord (1 Thessalonians 5:2). •About the coming of the “man of lawlessness” or the antichrist, his opposition to God, and his future desecration of the Jewish temple during thetribulation (2 Thessalonians 2:3-5). This would have included instruction from the book of Daniel and Jesus’ words as recorded in Matthew 24:15. •About the work of the Restrainer in regard to the appearance antichrist, which signifies that the Rapture must happen before Satan unveils him tothe world (2 Thessalonians 2:2-7). •That the Lord Jesus Himself would kill the “man of lawlessness” at His Second Coming (2 Thessalonians 2:8). Oh to have heard Paul teach on these things as he proclaimed the Gospel to the Thessalonians! WHAT CAUSES PEOPLE TO DISMISS THE MESSAGE OF 1 CORINTHIANS 15:19? Speaking as an American, I believe the affluence in my nation keeps many believers, and pastors, from fully absorbing the truths of 1 Corinthians 15:19. We have lived ina bubble of prosperity for so long that many of us do not recognize the many and varied threats from those who seek to destroy our county and put us under the heels of the globalists. Many remain under the illusion that Marxism cannot happen here despite the openness of many in our government who tell us that is what they want for the U.S. American Christians under the hypnotic spell of the mainstream media see only hope for their future even as the walls close in on them week by week and their freedoms slowlyvanish. The many discouraging caricatures of heaven also contribute to the neglect of these things in our daily lives. How can sitting in on cloud with a harp compare with the technologyof modern life? Who wants to jump into icy waters to earn one’s wings as an angel? Is not life here more exciting than a never-ending worship service? One of Satan’s biggest lies today is that heaven will be boring. Randy Alcorn, in his wonderful book, Heaven, addresses this fallacy in one of my favorite quotes from hisbook: Our belief that Heaven will be boring betrays a heresy—that God is boring. There’s no greater nonsense. Our desire for pleasure and the experience of joy come directly fromGod’s hand. He made our taste buds, adrenaline, sex drives, and the nerve endings that convey pleasure to our brains. Likewise, our imaginations and our capacity for joy and exhilaration were made by the very God we accuse of being boring. Are we so arrogantas to imagine that human beings came up with the idea of having fun?[i] Nothing dulls Paul’s Romans 8:18 perspective of eternal glory than the lie that the Lord will not bless us physically in heaven or that our experience there will be joyless. That’s why we refer to heaven as paradise. For us, the millennium, and especially eternal state, will be the utopia that people can only dream about today. It will be .. . paradise! Why would Jesus refer to it in that way if it’s not what we imagine when we hear the word “paradise” (Luke 23:43)? A third reason is perhaps the lack of sound biblical teaching in most churches today on future things, which has led to many getting their beliefs on such things from dubioussources on social media that prioritize human wisdom above the words of Scripture. Please know that it’s not the preaching of biblical truths regarding these things that causes divisions among the saints, it’s the scoffers who reject what the Bible saysabout the Rapture and the millennium. Please pay close attention in this regard to these words from Jude 17-19 “But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you, ‘In the last time there will be scoffers, following their ownungodly passions.’ It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit.” The preaching of the cross certainly results in division among people. However, it’s the scoffers who cause strife in the church when pastors proclaim biblical truths regardingJesus’ imminent appearing and His thousand-year reign on the throne of David. OUR HOPE OF PARADISE ENABLES US TO MAKE SENSE OF THIS LIFE Without the hope of eternity, it’s totally impossible to make sense out of what we experience in this life. Paul David Tripp wrote this in his excellent daily devotionalbook, New Morning Mercies, “Without eternity at the center of our thinking, our picture of life is like a jigsaw puzzle missing a central piece.” Tripp added this about a biblical worldview, “For God’s children, eternity promises that sin will die, suffering will end, our trials will be no more, and we will live with God in perfect peace forever . . . . Youjust can’t make proper sense of life without viewing it from the perspective of eternity.” Perhaps you’re reading this in midst of a great loss, a sickness, or much suffering. Of course, you can rely on Jesus’ continuing strength and comfort in the moment, butdo not discount the eternal hope you possess in Christ that encourages and comforts us during such times (1 Thessalonians 4:18). If you are like me, you feel greatly overwhelmed at times as you watch the wicked carry out their evil schemes. Those motivated by greed and power seem to be winning theday as they inflect pain, grief, and even death on a great many people. Their reign of terror, however, will quickly come to an end during the Tribulation period. If you’re groaning because of what you see (Romans 8:23-25), take heart; that’s a good sign because it means you have given up on this life to fulfill all your dreams andlook for the joy of Jesus’ appearing with excited anticipation. The best comfort for the afflictions of this life is to keep the message of 1 Corinthians 15:19 in mind at all times, “If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we areof all people most to be pitied.” Whatever happened to eternal life? It’s alive and well in God’s Word, but needs to make its reappearance in Bible-believing churches today. The Revelations of Paul and the Mystery of the Rapture

The Revelations of Paul and the Mystery of the Rapture – RandyNettles - https://www.rev310.net/post/the-revelations-of-paul-and-the-mystery-of-the-rapture Did Jesus ‘teach’ his disciples about the Rapture (catching up/harpazo) before his death and resurrection? I think it depends on the definition of teach. The first definitionof this word by Meriam-Webster is: to cause to know something. Other definitions are: to impart the knowledge of; to make known and accepted. According to these definitions, I don’t believe Jesus taught his disciples about the future event known as the pre-tribulationRapture. However, did he mention or give hints about it, without teaching in detail about it? I believe, as well as many others, the answer to this question is yes. At the Rapture, two earth (and heaven) shattering events will occur according to Paul in 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17: First, the dead in Christ will be resurrected (with newimmortal bodies) and will accompany the Lord from the third heaven to the second heaven (earth’s atmosphere/sky). Second, the believers in Christ who are still alive at this moment in time will be “caught up” (harpazo/rapio) and translated together with them(dead in Christ) in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. “And thus we shall always be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:17). THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD Jesus was not the first prophet to speak about the resurrection of the dead. Job, the author of Job, possibly the oldest book of the Bible, also wrote about the resurrectionafter his horrible personal tribulation, “After my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall see God, who I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!” (Job 26:26-27). Daniel, in his prophecy of the end time (known to the Jews as Jacob’s Trouble), spoke about God’s people (the Jews) being resurrected at the end of days. “And many of thosewho sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt” (Daniel 12:2). This resurrection will occur at the end of the Great Tribulation when Jesus returns to set up His millennial kingdom. Isaiah, the Old Testament prophet had this to say on the subject: “Your dead shall live; together with my dead body they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust;for your dew is like the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead” (Isaiah 26:19). Many eschatologists believe the next two verses hint at the events that occur at the end of the age (Day of the Lord): the Rapture, Tribulation, and 2nd Coming. “Comemy people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, until the indignation is past. For behold, the Lord comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; the earthwill also disclose her blood, and will no more cover her slain: (Isaiah 26: 20-21). Many scholars believe these Old Testament scriptures in Isaiah are “the word of the Lord” that Paul was referring to in his very first explanation (and order of events)of the rapture in 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17. “For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep (dead). For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven witha shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be withthe Lord.” Of course, Jesus taught about the resurrection of the dead, including his own death and resurrection. Jesus predicted his death and resurrection to his disciples three timesand they are recorded in all of the synoptic gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke). However, most of Jesus’ teachings on the resurrection are recorded in the gospel book of John. “This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I shouldlose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him many have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:39-40). Another example is foundin John 5:28-29. Jesus also taught by example with the raising of Lazarus from the dead as recorded in John 11:17-44. One of the greatest truths in all the Bible is given by Jesus to Martha(Lazarus’ sister) before Lazarus’ resurrection. “I am the resurrection and the life, He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die” (John 11:25-26). The last sentence is another example of Jesushinting at the future rapture of the Church. Jesus’ own resurrection, as recorded in all the gospel books, was the greatest lesson of all regarding the resurrection of the dead. Paul said that Christ has become the ‘firstfruits’ of those who have fallen asleep as per 1 Corinthians 15:20. The firstfruits implies that there is more of the ‘harvest’ to come. Paul then gives the order of the resurrection of the dead. “But each one in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming (parousia). Paul only mentions a resurrection at “His coming.” He doesn’t specify whether it is His coming at the Rapture or His coming at the 2nd Advent. We know from other scripture(such as 1 Thessalonians 4:16 and 1 Corinthians 15:52) that the dead in Christ (Christians who have died since Pentecost AD 33) will be resurrected at the rapture. We also know from other scripture that the Old Testament saints and the Tribulation saints willbe resurrected at the 2nd Coming. I believe Paul is “lumping together” the resurrection of the dead at the Rapture and the Second Advent. Likewise, Jesus could have lumped together the two parts of the “coming of the Son of man” during his Olivet discourse(found in Matthew, Mark, and Luke) he had with his disciples. THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN It’s interesting to me that those who claim the Olivet discourse is referring only to the 2nd Coming use the phrase, “but of that day and hour, no man knows, no, not theangels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matthew 24:36) as a reference to the Rapture. On the other hand, if the unknowable day and hour of Jesus’ coming is referring strictly to the 2nd Coming, wherein the Bible does it say the same for the Rapture? If it’snot mentioned in scripture, does this mean we can know the day or hour of the Rapture? I think almost everyone would agree that the answer to this question is no. No one will know the day or hour of the Rapture until it happens. Even then it will occur ondifferent days and different hours, due to multiple time zones throughout the world (24 to be precise with about 1 hour difference between zones). Good luck with predicting that! I believe the answer to this conundrum is that the coming of the Lord, mentioned by the gospel writers and Paul (1 Corinthians 15:20), comes in two parts (a two-part drama,if you will). The first part is at the Rapture where Jesus meets the saints in the clouds and the second part is at the 2nd Coming where Jesus physically returns to the earth. These two parts are separated by at least 7 years (7 year Tribulation), thus itis known as the pre-tribulation Rapture. Another conundrum in the Olivet discourse is found in Matthew 24:40-41. “Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grindingat the mill; one will be taken and the other left. The two keywords here are ‘taken’ and ‘left’. If one is taken and one left behind at Jesus 2nd Coming, the question arises: which one is taken and which one is left behind? The scholarly theologian, John F.Walvoord, in his book Every Prophecy of the Bible has this to say on the subject: “At the 2nd Coming of Christ, the saved remain (they are left) on earth and the unsaved are taken away in judgment at the beginning of the millennial kingdom. The very word usedto describe those taken away in Matthew 24:40-41 is used of Christ being taken away to the cross, obviously being taken in judgment as used here” (per John 19:16). On the other hand, the learned Bible teacher, Jack Kelley, in one of his teachings (Matthew 24:40-42 – Rapture or 2nd Coming), has this to say regarding these verses: “TheGreek word translated ‘taken’ means to receive unto oneself and the one translated ‘left’ means to put away…where believing tribulation survivors are received (taken) into the kingdom and non-believers are put away (left) into eternal punishment.” So who’s right, Mr. Walvoord or Mr. Kelley? I’m not in the same league as either one of these learned gentlemen to judge, but I do have my own personal opinion. As far asthe definitions of these two words are concerned, Jack Kelley is correct. However, I believe the “coming of the Son of man in these verses are referring to the first phase of His Coming, the pre-tribulation Rapture. The worker who Is taken is the believerwho is raptured and the worker left behind is the unbeliever who will be left behind. Also In verse 37, the comparison is made between the end days and the days of Noah. The days of Noah are a typology of the Rapture. Enoch’s taken away represents the Rapture. “By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, and was not found, because God had taken him, for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God” (Hebrews 11:5). The great flood, in this typology, represents the Great Tribulation. The evil antediluvians represent the unbelievers who will perish during the Tribulation. Noah and crew represent the remnant believers (Tribulation saints) that survive the Great Tribulation and enter the re-formed earth. THE PARABLE OF THE WISE AND FOOLISH VIRGINS One last point I would like to make is in regards to the parable of the wise and foolish virgins, that is told by Jesus after the Olivet discourse. I think most everyoneunderstands the typology and symbolism of this parable, so I will just take you to the verse in question, “and while they (foolish virgins) went to buy, the bridegroom (Jesus) came, and those (wise virgins) who were ready went in with him (bridegroom) to thewedding; and the door was shut” (Matthew 25:10). The question is what event is the bridegroom (Jesus) coming for? Well, it’s obvious he’s coming for the wedding; verse 10 confirms it. THE MARRIAGE AND MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB I think everyone would agree that the bride of Christ (the Lamb) is the Church. When and where does the marriage/wedding of Jesus to the Church transpire? The wedding takesplace in heaven after the Rapture, while the Tribulation is coming to a close on the earth and right before the 2nd Coming (Revelation 19:6-8). The marriage supper/banquet occurs on earth after the 2nd Coming. John the Baptist (friend of the groom) and OldTestament saints, as well as Tribulation saints, will be guests at the wedding supper. I believe the marriage supper will happen on the much-discussed 1335 day after the “in the midst” event of the Abomination of Desolation that Daniel spoke of. “Blessed ishe who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days” (Daniel 12:12). John wrote about it in the book of Revelation: “Then he (the angel )said to me, “Write: Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!” (Revelation19:9). I also believe the feast described in Isaiah 25:6-9 is describing the marriage supper (banquet) of the Lamb. “And in this mountain the Lord of hosts will make for all people a feast of choice pieces, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things fullof marrow, of well-refined wines on the lees” (Isaiah 25:6). HINTS OF THE RAPTURE IN THE GOSPELS Even though the Lord never gave clear teaching on the Rapture of the Church, he did mention it briefly with these two verses in Luke 21: “When these things begin to takeplace, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near” (Luke 21:28) and “pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:36). These are clear hintsthat the Church will be delivered from the end times judgment by the pre-tribulation Rapture. He confirmed this in Revelation 3:10, saying, “Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come uponthe whole world to test those who live on the earth.” One day soon, before the Tribulation starts, we will be “caught up” into the sky to meet the Lord. With our new translated bodies, we will be able to stand before the Son of Man, Jesus Christ, in all Hisglory. The clearest hint or mention of the Rapture is found in the gospel book of John. I believe the very first mention of the rapture is in John, chapter 11. “I am the resurrectionand the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die” (John 11:25-26). The next mention of the rapture is found in John 14, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believesalso in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also” (John14:1-3). Although Jesus referred to the rapture in John’s gospel, he didn’t expound upon it or teach his disciples fully about it. The apostles were both emotionally and theologicallyunprepared to receive this revelation at this time. They could barely understand that Jesus was going to be killed and then resurrected back to life. They didn’t even fully understand His coming again to set up His millennial kingdom or the timing of such. How could Jesus add to their confusion by revealing the mystery of the rapture at this time? John didn’t write about these events (and words that Jesus spoke) in his gospel until about six decades after they occurred, and over four decades after Paul wrote aboutthe rapture in 1 Thessalonians. John definitely knew about Paul’s revelation of the rapture through personal contact and his writings, but taking his cue from Jesus, never taught on it. Before the details of the rapture could be fully revealed, the apostles and disciples of Jesus needed to fully understand Jesus’ previous teachings regarding atonement ofsin and eternal salvation (as taught in John 11:25-26; John 6:39-40; and many other scriptures). This could only be accomplished after five things occurred. 1) The crucifixion and death of Jesus. 2) The resurrection of Jesus. 3) The ascension of Jesus backto the Father. 4) The giving of the Holy Spirit to the apostles and Jews. 5) The giving of the Holy Spirit to the Gentiles. Once the Church (both Jews and Gentiles) was formed and the knowledge of God’s saving grace through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ, was spread throughout Israel and the surrounding areas, the next plan for the Church (the Rapture) could be revealed. HISTORY OF THE GOSPELS Later, after the giving of the Holy Spirit and the revelation of the rapture to Paul, the disciples would recall the words of Jesus and record them in the gospels and otherbooks of the New Testament. John and the other gospel writers simply wrote on the life and times of Jesus Christ and his three-year ministry on the earth. They concentrated on writing about the miracles Jesus performed and the exact words that he had spokento the disciples, crowds, and the religious elites in Jerusalem and Israel. Even though they knew about the rapture at the time of writing their books, they never included it in their works; that was Paul’s job, for it was given to him by direct revelationfrom God Himself. Paul was the only apostle taught by Jesus after his death. All the other apostles were taught during Jesus’ earthly ministry. At this time, the offer of the kingdom of Godwas still open to Israel, which they declined by rejecting Jesus as Messiah. The offer lasted until Jesus’ ascension and then it was too late. However, they will get one final chance at the end of the age. Since the Lord didn’t teach about the Rapture duringHis ministry on Earth, it’s understandable that his disciples didn’t either. Matthew and John were the only two authors of the Gospels who were actual eye-witnesses to Jesus' works and words during his three-year ministry. They were also two of theoriginal 12 disciples of Jesus. John Mark was a disciple (not of the original 12) and protégé of Peter who also traveled with Paul during some of his missionary/evangelical trips. He wrote the Gospel of Mark mostly from interviewing Peter. It is believed Markwas the first of the four Gospels to be written (approximately AD 58). Matthew wrote his Gospel approximately two years later in AD 60. Luke was a Gentile doctor and historian and also a disciple of Jesus (not of the original 12) who wrotehis Gospel in about AD 60-62. His account of Jesus’ life came from interviewing Jesus’ disciples and other eye-witnesses to Jesus’ ministry. Luke was also a traveling companion to Paul. By the time the books of the Gospels were written, Paul had already received the revelation of the Rapture and written about it in the books of 1 and 2 Thessalonians and1 and 2 Corinthians and possibly others. Thus, there was no reason for the disciples to write about it, as it was left for Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles, to write and teach about the pre-tribulation Rapture. Paul was not one of the original 12 disciplesof Jesus, but became the apostle to the Gentiles by the Lord Himself, not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead” (Galatians 1:1). Galatians was probably the second book in the New Testament to bewritten (James was most likely the first) and the first book written by Paul (approximately AD 49). He wrote it to the churches in Galatia that were founded on Paul’s first missionary journey. THE CONVERSION OF SAUL Paul was encompassed by supernatural events and revelations throughout his adult life. Paul’s Jewish name was Saul. He was from Tarsus and was originally a very religiousand devout Pharisee and became a leading persecutor of the church. He was present at the stoning of Stephen, a righteous deacon of the early church, who was the first martyr of the newly formed church in Jerusalem in AD 35. Saul received letters from the high priest to travel to Damascus for the purpose of arresting Christians in the synagogues there. As he neared the city, there suddenly shinedround about him a light from heaven. “He fell to the earth and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, who do you persecute me? And he said, Who are you Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom you persecute: It is hard for you to kick against the goads” (Acts 9:4-5). This phrase means that Saul was only hurting himself in his actions because he was rebelling against God. Saul was temporarily blinded by the light for three days. God told him to go into the city and he would then be told what to do. The Lord told Ananias, a disciple in Damascus, go to the street called Straight (I always wondered if it intersected Narrow St.), and inquire at the house of Judas, forone called Saul of Tarsus. The Lord informed him that Saul had seen in a vision a man named Ananias would come there and put his hand on him, and he would then receive his sight. Ananias questioned the Lord regarding this for he had heard of Saul’s reputation. The Lord told Ananias, “Go your way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: for I will show him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake” (Acts 9:5-16). Of course, the Lord’s revelation came true. Ananias met Saul, and laid hands on him, and told him that the Lord Jesus had sent him. Immediately Saul received his sight andwas filled with the Holy Spirit. He was then baptized and stayed with the disciples at Damascus for several days. “And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that He (Jesus) is the Son of God” (Acts 9:19). Paul claimed as he wrote about in Galatians, that his message in his preaching was by direct revelation from the Lord; “immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: neither went I unto Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and then returned again to Damascus” (Galatians1:16-17). MADE ALIVE IN CHRIST Ephesians was another letter written by Paul that was addressed to the church at Ephesus and all believers everywhere. It was written in approximately AD 60 from Rome, duringPaul’s imprisonment there. In Ephesians, Paul speaks of eternal salvation, how to obtain it, and where it comes from. “For by grace you are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast: (Ephesians2:8-9). Paul’s special mission to the Gentiles is discussed in Ephesians 3. Instead of paraphrasing Paul’s message, I will let Paul tell you in own inimitable way. “For this causeI Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, if you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me toward you: how that by revelation He made know unto me the mystery which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men,as it is now revealed unto His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ by the Gospel: whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of God givenunto me by the effectual working of His power: (Ephesians 3:1-7). It was known in the Old Testament that the Gentiles would receive salvation (Isaiah 49:6); but it was never revealed (until the giving of the Holy spirit to all believers)that all Gentile and Jewish believers would become equal in the body of Christ. This equality was accomplished when Jesus broke down the “wall of partition” (Ephesians 2:14) and created the “one new man” (Ephesians 2:15), “neither Jew nor Gentile, neitherslave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:28). We will examine Paul’s revelations and more of his writings regarding the Rapture in part II. Randy Nettles VISIT: PROPHECY WATCHER WEEKLY NEWS: HTTP://PROPHECY-WATCHER-WEEKLY-NEWS.BLOGSPOT.COM

Beware of False Prophets

Beware of False Prophets - Nathele Graham - twotug@embarqmail.com Throughout Scripture we read about false prophets. A true prophet is one who speaks the word of God and doesn’t sugar coat it nor does a true prophet twist God’s truth.Peter writes about false prophets and their heretical teachings. “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, andbring them upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a longtime lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.” 2 Peter 1:1-3. False prophets are all around us and they profit by promoting their lies. Their heresies are brought into congregations in the form of books promoting New Age lies, contemplative prayer, meditation, purpose driven, and yoga among other heresies. Scripture doesn’t promote any of these ideas, and Christians need to reject these teachings, as well as many other ideas that aren’t of God. You’ll find many false teachings on the mainstream news, and Christians need to run everything through Scripture. That is where truth is found. Peter says that these false prophets will reap the reward of their false teaching. “And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riotin the day time. Spots, they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices;cursed children: which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;” 2 Peter 2:13-15. Balaam sold his services to Balak, the king of Moab, in order to destroy Israel.Even a donkey was smarter that Balaam. “But was rebuked for his iniquity; the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbad the madness of the prophet.” 2 Peter 2:16. Read the full story in Numbers chapter 22. God will always prevail; He worked through His prophet Elijah to destroy hundreds of prophets who were evil. “Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto mountCarmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel’s table.” 1 Kings 18:19. Jezebel was the very wicked and evil wife of King Ahab. She practiced paganism, and Baal was a god worshippedby the Phoenicians. Any prophet who speaks for a demon god cannot be trusted, including the false prophet, Mohammed. Their words are only meant for destruction. Elijah was a prophet of God Almighty and, through God’s power, the false prophets were utterlydestroyed in a miraculous way. Elijah was outnumbered by the false prophets, so how did he prevail against them? Faith. He knew and trusted God. No matter how much it seems that you’re in a minority, if you have faith and only serve God Almighty, you willwin the battle. If you believe everything you hear on MS-NBC or CNN, you’re listening to false prophets who sell their services with no thought about God’s truth. Jeremiah was another of God’s true prophets who dealt with the lies of false prophets. Why is it that people are willing to believe liars and fools? God told Jeremiah thatthe Southern Kingdom (Judah) would be taken captive by the Babylonians for 70 years. God’s people had disobeyed God, by not allowing the land to rest every seventh year. It’s always a good idea to obey God. Because of their disobedience, God was going to removethem from the land to allow it to rest, and Jeremiah told the people this was going to happen. God directed Jeremiah to make bonds and yokes, put them on himself and also send them to the kings of Edom, Moab, the Ammonites, Tyrus, and Zidon. This was a warningthat God would use a pagan king to do His bidding. Nebuchadnezzar had no idea that God Almighty was allowing him to conquer many nations, but he went about taking people hostage and destroying nations. The nations which Jeremiah was to send the yokes werenations that listened to false prophets. God added a warning to the yokes. “Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not servethe king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish.” Jeremiah 27:9-10. When you listen to God and hearken to His word, you follow truth. Unfortunately, there are alwaysfalse teachers who make it seem as if God is wrong. God is never wrong. Nobody wants to hear doom and gloom. They may not honor or obey God, but believe that God will wink and snicker at their disobedience and not allow anything bad to happen.God is fair. He warns us of what disobedience brings “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23. He gives us Scripture to guide us in His truth. Prophecy tells us what the future holds, but too many people, even Christians, choose to listen to the prophets of Baal and ignore God. Jeremiah had to deal with a falseprophet, Hananiah, who thought he was smarter than God. His false teachings that contradicted God’s words, prove he was a false prophet. Hananiah was bold in his actions. He went to the house of the LORD, and in front of the priests and the people he contradictedJeremiah’s prophecy of the 70-year captivity. “Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of the LORD’S house, that Nebuchadnezzarking of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon: and I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the LORD: for I will break the yoke of theking of Babylon.” Jeremiah 28:2-4. There’s more than one lesson here. First, don’t take Scripture out of context. If you just read these verses, you’ll conclude Hananiah was speaking God’s words. Next, remember that not everyone who claims to have a messagefrom God, actually speaks God’s truth. Test everything under the lens of Scripture. Anything that contradicts God’s word, is a lie. Jeremiah could have become angry at him, but he very wisely left it in God’s hands to reveal who was correct. “Even the prophetJeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so: the LORD perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the LORD’S house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place. Nevertheless hear thou now this word that I speakin thine ears, and in the ears of all the people; the prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence. The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD hath truly sent him.” Jeremiah 28:6-9. Instead of arguing, Jeremiah simply said to wait and see which prophecy was proven by time. After Hananiah left, God directed Jeremiah to confront him. “Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; the LORD hath not sent thee; butthou makest this people to trust in a lie. Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou has taught rebellion against the LORD. So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in theseventh month.” Jeremiah 28:15-17. We need to be very careful who we listen to. Only God has truth. By not studying Scripture, you can easily be duped by a false prophet who speaks for a false god. Jesus warned that the last days would be filled with deceit. Many will claim to be Christ, but are imposters. There will be many reports of trouble. “For many shall comein my name, sayin, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.” Matthew 24:5-7. Have you heard reports of these things? I certainly have. It seems that pestilence and famine are news headlines, as COVID is blamed for everything from delayedshipments of products to bare grocery shelves. Brothers and sisters, I urge you to stand firm on your faith and don’t allow fear to guide your decisions. Look to Scripture for true prophecy. Study it and understand what Daniel says about the end times, and don’t be afraid to study Revelation. I know it can be a little frighteningto read of a Beast running the world and causing everyone to take his mark. Large portions of the population will die and water will become contaminated. There’ll be a one world government, one world economy, and one world religion. If you don’t worship thebeast and take his mark you won’t be able to buy or sell. Of course, if you take his mark, you cannot be redeemed and will spend eternity in the lake of fire. The good news is that those events will all happen after Christians are taken to Heaven in the Rapture. “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” 1 Corinthians15:51-52. We’re getting very near to the end of days. Everything we see happening is paving the way for the Beast to step into power. Those who are left after the Rapture will face horrors we can only imagine in our worst nightmares. Christians will be inHeaven praising our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, as we cast our crowns at His feet. We won’t face the wrath of God. When the seven years of the Great Tribulation have passed, there’ll be a judgment by God. “And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miraclesbefore him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.” Revelation 19:20. People like to speculate about the identity of thebeast and the false prophet are. Names like Obama, the Pope, Bill Gates, and others are mentioned. In truth, Christians will be in Heaven before the man of sin is revealed. The Apostle Paul wrote much about the Rapture. “Let no man deceive you by any means:for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God,shewing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4. Paul reassured the believers in Thessalonica that they would be Raptured before the “son of perdition” comes to power. First there would be an apostasia, a falling away. The Greek word “apostasia” canmean a spiritual departure or a physical departure. The English word “apostasy” comes from this Greek word, and we use it to denote someone who isn’t walking in God’s truth. Paul may have chosen this word because it can mean either a physical departure ora spiritual departure. Look around and you can easily see that very few so-called Christians, live their faith. How many pastors have now embraced homosexuality? How many of the brethren conform to the ways of the world instead of dying to self and standingfirmly upon the word of God? Yes, there is a massive falling away from the faith. Possibly this weeds out the “in name only” Christians, from those who have their feet firmly planted in Christ. The Rapture (the physical departing of Christians) must happenbefore the wrath of God comes upon the whole world. Will you be one of us who are taken in the Rapture? Accept Jesus now to be sure. Turn your life over to Him and allow Him to guide your path. Put aside anger, pride, and any attitude that’s opposed to God’sword. Holding to any sin will bring tribulation into your soul. Not the seven-year tribulation described in Scripture, but conflict within your spirit. Many false prophets are in the world today. They speak loudly and with seeming authority, but they don’t speak for the one true God. Study Scripture and allow Christ tomold you into a true follower of His truth. Then stand firmly against all false teachers and share God’s truth with others. Beware of false prophets. God Is Frustrating the Democratic Agenda

God Is Frustrating the Democratic Agenda – Todd Strandberg - https://www.raptureready.com/category/nearing-midnight/ When Barack Obama was elected president in 2008, there was a massive surge of traffic to RR. People were wondering if the Antichrist had just been elected to office, andmany Christians thought they were in big trouble. Because the nation was in the middle of a recession, the American people blamed the Republicans for the economic downturn and voted for the party that was not in control. The Democratic Party gained a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate, so they could pass any law they wanted. Despite all the concern on the part of conservatives, the Democrats could hardly get anything done. During the first term, the only major bill that Congress passed was ObamaCare. Angered voters gave control of Congress back to the Republicans in the 2010 mid-term election. Near the end of Obama’s second term, he was able to do tremendous damage to the nation, even though both houses were controlled by the Republicans. Obama made things worseby packing the federal government with radical leftists and issuing a flood of executive orders. When Biden was elected to office, I had great concern that the Democrats would quickly pass a series of laws that would turn the nation to the left. Biden’s first monthsin office are starting to look much like Obama’s first term. They have the potential votes, but they can’t get organized to pass the bills. I had thought that the $1.2 trillion Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework packages had been passed in August when the Senate passed it. Since we’ve already spent trillionson stimulus checks, I was all for a bill to fix roads and bridges. The nation’s infrastructure system recently earned a C- score from the American Society of Civil Engineers earlier this year. About a month after the Senate vote, I discovered that the House Progressive Caucus was holding the Infrastructure hostage until the House voted on a bill they were promoting. Build Back Better Act is a pork bill that gives welfare for kids, money for green energy projects, and adds to our national problem with soaring drug costs by telling drugcompanies to just send the bill to Uncle Sam. This bill also would raise taxes on large corporations and the wealthiest Americans. Things were looking bad for Nancy Pelosi, where she couldn’t even get her party members to vote for an Infrastructure bill. The Republicans could have remained united andlet the Democrats crash and burn. Just as they’ve done many times in the past, 13 members broke ranks to allow the bill to pass. Build Back Better Act may pass in the House, but it is unlikely to pass in the Senate because of one key vote. Since the Senate is tied 50-50, any bill needs all senatorsplus the Vice President’s tiebreaker vote to pass. Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia has balked at the idea of him voting for the bill. President Biden has promised that the $3.7 trillion price tag will be paid with tax increases, but Manchin knows thatwill never take place. The rich will always find ways to hide their wealth. It seems clear to me that God is frustrating the Democratic Agenda by creating legislative log jams. There is still harm taking place that Biden is inflicting on America.Oddly enough, Obama did the same thing that Biden is doing. He apologizes to the world for the Trump years. When Biden went to the UN climate summit in Glasgow, he apologized to the summit participants for Trump previously pulling out of the Paris Accord. When Biden called outChina’s President Xi for skipping the summit, Beijing mocked Biden for being “powerless” and weak. State-run English language Global Times mockingly called out the “noble” apology as, in reality, exposing the deep disunity of American politics, leading to a permanentstate of gridlock as well as constant flip-flopping on the world stage. The report said the Chinese public “cannot wait until 2024 when the Republican Party, or even Donald Trump himself, apologizes for Biden’s apology.” Global Times included the following commentary focused on the constant “discord” in the US: Most people believe this was hardly an apology but a slap in the face of his predecessor, a move to pin all the blame on Trump. This is not about how sorry Biden is. Hewas making a show and bringing US political infighting to the global arena. America has become so hollowed out by years of reckless spending and political leaders that have no vision, our nation could implode at any moment. It is my hope that wemake it to the rapture before the collapse takes place. “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon theearth” (Rev 3:10).
