We look atthe signals every week in these commentaries, usually in considerable depth. Despite the importance of each of these indicators, a couple of specific ones have emerged that we should focus on intensively. That’s why I liken “focus” in these particularprophesies to being under “God’s microscope.” These two indicators are becoming more sharply defined by the day while we watch things unfold in hourly news feeds. Hopefully, shining biblical light directly on these matterswill present an unmistakable image that leaps into our spiritual sensors. Wars and Rumors of Wars The first prophetic indicator most terrifying. That is, it used to be the most terrifying, as we’ve looked at before in these articles. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. (Matthew 24:6) This prophecy of Jesus, I thought, seemingly was being fulfilled when I was a teenager many years ago. This, as I say, used to be the most terrifying matter. I remember in 1958, as a high school student, being quite troubled while reading a headline during study hall in theschool library. The headline at the time of the Cold War warned of nuclear weaponry that had, in testing, dissolved entire islands in the Pacific. If America went to war with the Soviet Union, there would be little to no chance of survival—that was the direprognosis. Back then, there were fears and rumors going around amongst us teenagers that America and the USSR were going to war and the world would come to an end. This seems so strange now, in light of that all has transpired over the decades. Teens today (and a few adults), as far as I can discern, harbor little such fear. I can’tsee a teenager today looking at newspaper articles to find out if nuclear war is about to break out. Of course, that whole concept of newspapers among kids today is perhaps a non sequitur; the logic doesn’t follow. Newspapers aren’t really part of communicationsthese days. Neither, however, are students looking on their devices for news of impending nuclear war between Russia and America. Some might be concerned with climate change, but most are just concerned about conducting their lives through social media, without anxiety over wars and rumors of war. Yet the Lord Jesus Christ gave this prophecy as a primary signal to look for when the age is on the cusp of His return. Thus, believers should be looking for a profound increasein war and rumors of war. In my thinking, there is now the greatest likelihood of nuclear war occurring to this point in modernity. That is, if we consider that the Western alliance, led by the presentUS presidential administration, NATO, and the globalists elite within the World Economic Forum and other nongovernmental organizations seem to be poking that bear. There is an obvious effort to try to get Vladimir Putin to go nuclear, at least in the tacticalsense. But God’s restraining hand is preventing such a catastrophic conflict that would almost certainly take place should the New World Order builders be able to provoke the Russiansinto using nuclear weapons in the Ukrainian war. The fact is, we are precisely where Jesus prophesied the end-times generation would be in terms of wars and rumors of wars. This is, therefore, one of today’s two most significantmatters to observe intensively under God’s prophetic microscope. The second to look at—and even more significant, in my opinion—is the matter of the paradox we observe in America in particular. I go back again, maybe for some to the pointof ad nauseam, to the prophecy of the Lord Jesus as recorded in Luke 17:28–30. The Economy and Business and Usual The love of money, the Bible tells us, is the root of all kinds of evil. We’ve been shown throughout the years of suffering modern wars and rumors of wars that the military-industrialcomplex President Dwight Eisenhower warned us about has fed the flesh and blood of the young into the war-machine grinder. Great wealth continues to be derived from the production and sales of this machine of horror. For the Russian and the Ukrainian people,this is fully in effect at the moment. And it’s not difficult to discern that the entire globalist New World Order cabal is pushing to bring America and Europe’s youth into that war-machine grinder. The economy, then, is predicted by Jesus Himself to be prevalent and even in more pronounced ways at the very moment leading to His next catastrophic intervention into theevil affairs of humankind. The paradox is found in that, at the same time, business is going on as usual—quite vigorously. Wickedness is flowing like a raging river just beneath the seeming normalcyof the time. Money is being made hand over fist at the same time the most wicked, debauched things imaginable are going on in the dark, sinful places of society and culture…all just like in the days of Lot. Here again is Jesus’ prophecy that places our time, societies, and cultures—particularly here in the apex nation, America—as they were in the days when Lot was removed andGod’s judgment began to fall on Sodom and Gomorrah. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rainedfire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. (Luke 17:28–30) This is, in my opinion, the most critical prophecy to view through the prism of God’s microscope at this moment. This condition in America and the world today puts this generationright at the very end of the Age of Grace (Church Age) and at the point of entering the Tribulation. The rumors of nuclear war will, shortly after the Rapture, quickly begin to roar within the judgments of Revelation. It’s time to realize the signals God is allowing thosewho are His own as a heavenly heads-up. “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” (Luke 21:28)

For whatever reason, it did not make the transition from my old website to this one. Here it is. As the old saying goes, the eyes are of no use if the mind is blind. So it is come to this then, that we who live in the most transformative, prophetically active time since the days of Christ, see so little interest in what the Bible has tosay about what will come to pass in these last days. Tragically, this disinterest comes as equally from those who profess Christ, as from those who don’t. The study today is over why this is. “However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. But we speak the wisdom ofGod in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” – 1 Corinthians 2:6-9 The section of Bible prophecy which speaks to the events of the last days, Eschatology, is not some fringe hobby that people dabble in with the same seriousness as those whofollow UFOs or Big Foot. Eschatology is a major doctrinal study that consumes around 30% of your Bible. John F. Walvoord, the late President of the Dallas Theological Seminary, dubbed it the ‘capstone of Christian doctrine’, because your eschatological viewdetermines how you hold to every other major doctrine…such as Soteriology, Ecclesiology, etc.) If you think about it for a second, your entire Bible, either center around Christ’s first coming, or His second. It only makes sense that a book in which God isrevealing Himself to mankind progressively, (i.e….not all at once), is a book that hinges around His own Incarnation and His return for His people. Yet today more than ever, so-called Evangelicals are increasingly becoming dismissive of Bible prophecy because they believe it is a fool’s errand, that Christ may never return,or that it impedes their ability to enact cultural change through the social gospel. This is promulgated in the Reformed Theology groups as well as thru the Prosperity Gospel and Emergent Church movements. It’s like it has become popular again in Christendom,to no longer care if or when Christ will return as if it is some distraction we needn’t concern ourselves with. “We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.” – 1 John 5:19 As Christians, we must understand that Satan really exists, and he is a real enemy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the nation of Israel. He’s an enemy of the Gospel becauseit represents his ultimate defeat and demise at the Cross of Calvary, and whatever schemes and plans he had prior to the Cross, became null and void when God provided a foolproof way to redeem fallen man through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. He’s an enemyof Israel because she represents the Apple of God’s Eye, (Zech. 2:8) and because of the promises and covenants God made with her. (Romans 11:25-29) If a “Christian” refuses to believe that Satan really exists, then they are in a sense, calling into question,Jesus’s sanity…for whom else did Jesus speak to in the desert when undergoing His forty days of temptation were it not who Scripture says it was? (Luke 4:1-13) Satan and all of his demonic hosts then, HATE Bible prophecy, because it foretells their sure doom. We know the things Satan hates most because these are the things he hasspent most of his time and energy, trying to destroy. Likewise, if the world is under the temporary control of Satan, it makes sense then that these are the same things the world hates. Satan has invested millennia in distorting, perverting, discrediting,dismissing, and silencing true, orthodox, and Scriptural Bible prophecy. Think about it this way; the world and its way of thinking, tolerate pretty much everything to one degree or another…except Biblical Christianity and Israel’s existence. Childmarriages, abortion, Islam, Buddhism, paganism, Satanism, murder, theft, corruption, etc., etc….the world tolerates and forgives. But if you say that Jesus is the only way to salvation, the world will destroy you, or die trying. In regards to Bible prophecythen, ask yourself; 1. Which does the world hate more, Pre-Millennialism or Amillennialism? 2. Which does the world hate more, a Pre-Tribulation Rapture, or no Rapture at all? 3. Why are there so many different views on when the Rapture takes place? Can we not see the satanic attempts to distort and pervert our understanding of the “Blessed Hope”? And be certain, it can only be a “Blessed Hope”, if we are removed beforethe world enters into the 70th Week of Daniel (Daniel 9:24-27). Going in, halfway, or all the way removes any sense of ‘hope’ if we are to be subjected to the horror Christ Himself said would not only be present but be unparalleled in all of history (Matt.24:21-22). What I find interesting, is that those Christian “scholars” and denominations who dismiss Bible prophecy as either unimportant or irrelevant, seemingly do so because it interferesor distracts people away from their earthly agendas. Whether those agendas are soaked in social justice, the environment, or perhaps trying to make themselves culturally relevant, Bible prophecy definitively takes people's gaze from looking down to lookingup. What I also find interesting, is that even our enemies, those spiritual forces who are opposed to God, believe and understand Bible prophecy. “When He had come to the other side, to the country of the Gergesenes, there met Him two demon-possessed men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one couldpass that way. And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?” Matthew 8:28-29 The demonic hosts, tremble at the thought of God (James 2:19). They tremble at the name of Jesus Christ. Not only do they know He (Christ) exists, but they also know thatthere is coming a day of reckoning when they will be judged and cast into eternal punishment. They know the seriousness of this coming judgment, as some of their demonic ‘brethren’ were already cast into the Abyss, under chains of darkness, until that Dayof Judgment when they are to be cast into the Lake of Fire forever. They will suffer this for their sins of mixing sexually with humans in an attempt to corrupt the genetic gene pool prior to the Noahic Flood (See Gen. 6:1-4, 2 Peter 2:4, Jude 1:6-7). Yet,as wicked and depraved as these fallen angels are, they at least, have the common sense to fear and tremble at the very mention of God…whereas defiant and rebellious man does not. “…and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evilof dignitaries, whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord.” – 2 Peter 2:10-11 Assessment Perhaps this increased skepticism about Christ and His return ties back into the whole normalcy bias that our world has succumbed to. People do not understand the supernaturalrealm and are rarely exposed to it, therefore, they dismiss it, because they can’t physically put their hands on it or see it with their eyes. This idea that the supernatural either doesn’t exist or is so ethereal that it’s irrelevant, has become the dominantview in academia and government and is very pagan in origin. Naturalism, secular humanism, realism, and materialism have become the only acceptable platforms in the ‘public arena of ideas for the last half of the 20th century and have had devastating resultsin our education system, culture, and the Judeo-Christian way of life. Not only are these views the mainstay in our secular culture, but has effectively infiltrated and infected our theological institutions as well. In fact, the overwhelming number of seminaries today, are largely liberal. Yet, what’s frustrating is that we have lived through arguably the most transformative, dynamic,technologically advanced, and blood-stained century the world has EVER seen…yet, we act as if things have always been this way. Just think about the major events which have radically changed the world in just the last 100 years or so; 1. World War 1 (1914-1918) reshaped and redrew the boundaries of much of Europe and the Middle East. 2. Bolshevik Revolution (1917-1922) created a communist superpower through the formation of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), which would enable the Cold Warto be waged for almost 50 years. 3. World War II (1939-1945) again drew the whole world into conflict. Out of its ashes, gave reason for the world to create a global governing body (United Nations), and Europe'scause to come together economically (European Coal and Steel Community) and militarily (NATO). 4. The rebirth of the nation of Israel in 1948, after almost two millennia of diaspora, would become the very catalyst that would awaken the sleeping giant of orthodox (i.e….radical)Islam. Both Sunni and Shia sects then became bent on destroying Israel. Israel’s rebirth into the table of nations galvanized Islam into a regional nightmare bent on wiping Israel (and all those who support her) off the map. 5. Bretton Woods Agreement (1945) effectively put the world under a single, global, reserve currency…the U.S. Dollar, and linked it to the Gold Standard at $35 an ounce. 6. OPEC (1960) stands for the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, which has come to dominate the petroleum-based energy needs for the last half of the 20th century.The United States worked a deal with OPEC nations from 1973 to 1975 to create what would come to be known as the fiat “Petrol Dollar”, which meant that the US would militarily and economically remain faithful, so long as all oil transactions were made in USCurrency. 7. The creation of the Internet (the 1980s) is a system of systems, which links electronic devices together via the World Wide Web (www). It’s hard to imagine life beforethe Internet, because it has really been the biggest revolutionary change to communication, ever. It has rapidly increased information availability, communications, and technological advancements in every sector, and has become instrumental in media, government,and the military. I wish people could step back to see the big picture, and then ask themselves one fundamental question; “Is the world growing towards, or further away from, global government?” We know that according to Scripture, the world will eventually come under the control of ten regional rulers. (Daniel 7:23-25; 8:23-25, Rev. 13:1-4; 17:9-14) From this regionalconsortium, will arise one man who is given power by three of these regions/kingdoms. From here, the man (who we believe to be the antichrist/rider on the white horse) will come to singularly and authoritatively rule the entire world. But changing from the world as it is today, to what the world will look like then, will not happen overnight. Infrastructure and legislation have to be put in place, technologyhas to be developed which would allow for the implementation of global control mechanisms, which would mean that the conditions are such that independent countries would willingly set aside their national borders and sovereignty, in order to come togetherfor the common good. Change like that only happens in the face of a massive, global, crisis. Now, we’ve all been witness to the current, unsuccessful attempts by globalists today to try and generate panic on a worldwide scale, through the false alarms of “Global Cooling”. When that didn’t pan out, they called it “Global Warming”. When the scientific data didn’t support the AlGorian hyperbolic warnings of impending destruction, the crisis HAD to be rebranded again, to “Climate Change”. So why the hard push for something thatclearly at the present, isn’t a crisis? Since the world already has a global government called the United Nations, it has the mechanism, but not the authority to pull all the nations together under its protectiveumbrella. In fact, the UN is quite impotent in its ability to do much of anything. What it lacks though, is a means to fund its initiatives through global taxation. It needs a crisis and this crisis would potentially be used to create a standing army/navy/airforce to enforce peace, and security, and serve as a way to enforce taxation compliance. Currently, the United Nations currently receives the bulk of its funding through the United States, where it is also headquartered. The “Climate Change” crisis was absolutelynecessary in order to drum up funding for enhanced global governance through “carbon taxes”, which would then achieve two goals; punish the rich, western nations through heavy taxes for benefitting from industrialization (wealth redistribution), and createbureaucratic overreach which is necessary to implement Agenda 21 and 2030 programs which remove sovereignty nations have over their own territories. Imagine the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) on a global scale. Conclusion So let’s be clear on this then, that Satan’s schemes and maneuverings in these regards are neither random nor arbitrary. He is in the process of putting his affairs in order,in short order…because he knows he has but a little time left before all this comes apart at the seams. He knows the Bible and knows what God told Noah after the Flood (Genesis 8:20-22), that He will keep the seasons and natural order going until He deemsfit, so all this talk of global cooling, warming, and climate change crisis, is simply machinations of something more sinister he has in store…which is, to bring the world together under one man, antichrist, who will then take that last stand against Christat His Second Coming. Satan knows perfectly well, that Christ will return for His bride, the Church before all this goes down…which is why he has invested so much time and energy in confusing thechurches about the subject. He knows that this is THE crisis he will use to bring all the governments of the world together into his already well-laid plans. He just doesn’t know when this will all go down. So the overwhelming lack of interest, the skepticism,and outright scoffing of the Bible, and Bible prophecy that we see today, is in keeping with the two thousand-plus years’ worth of deception and corruption that Satan has invested in keeping people in the dark. “And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, whenthe Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” Luke 17:7-8 We need only look back at Christ’s first coming, and the scarce knowledge and awareness of the people then knew that their Messiah had come, to see how Satan works in keepingthe world blinded to God’s future prophetic timeline. As we near His Second Coming, do we not see the exact same thing taking place, even in the churches? On one hand, the Church has come under intense persecution throughout much of the world. On the other,the churches have largely fallen asleep and no longer know where we are on God’s divine timeline, nor do they know where they are going. Believers are starting to give up on God’s promise of returning for His own. Rest assured… He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Rev. 22:20-21

This debate has been going on for centuries, especially within the dispensationalist premillennial pre-tribulation camp, and revolves around one particular statementby Jesus that is found in two of the gospels: “But of that day and hour no man knows, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matthew 24:36). “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father” (Mark 13:32). The question that causes so much debate is this: Is the topic of these passages referring to the Second Advent of Christ or the coming of Christ at the pre-tribulation Rapture? Rev310 Tribe poll •84%Pre-Tribulation Rapture Passage? - 32 votes •16%Second Coming Passage? -6 votes There are well-known and respected Bible teachers and scholars on both sides of this controversial issue. John F. Walvoord, Jack Kelley, and Thomas Ice are a few learned menwho believe these Olivet discourse verses are referring to the Second Coming. Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum, Dave Hunt, and Terry James are a few learned men who believe these verses are referring to the Rapture. Evidently, both sides cannot be right. That meanssome of these respected men of God are mistaken. This only proves one thing. Even the best Bible teachers can’t be right 100% of the time, especially when it comes to prophecies regarding eschatology. A little background information would help us understand the disciples’ frameof mind at this time. The Olivet discourse occurred a few days before Jesus’ last Passover. “Now it came to pass when Jesus had finished all these sayings, that He said to His disciples, “You know that after two days is the Passover, and the Son of Man willbe delivered up to be crucified” (Matthew 26:1-2). This was the fourth time Jesus had told his disciples that he would be crucified. The other three times he had also told them he would be resurrected on the third day. By this time, they should have knownwhat was to come. THE THREE VERSIONS OF THE OLIVET DISCOURSE IN THE SYNOPTIC GOSPELS The disciples also knew Jesus was to establish his kingdom after His resurrection, but weren’t sure of the exact timing. So, you can imagine their shock at the news that theTemple would be destroyed. They just naturally assumed it would be in place for Jesus’ kingdom when He returned. “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down” (Matthew24:2). Likewise we see the discussion regarding the destruction of the Temple mentioned in Mark 13:2 and Luke 21:6. For this article, we will mainly concentrate on Matthew’s account of the Olivet discourse. In Matthew 24:3 the disciples asked Jesus three questions: When shall these things be (the destruction of the temple)? What shall be the sign of your coming (to set up Hiskingdom)? What shall be the sign of the end of the world? Evidently, they believed Jesus’ return would be concurrent with the end of the world. The first question was regarding the timing of the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem. Jesus did not answer this question in Matthew or Mark but he did in Luke 21:20-24,although no date was given. In Matthew’s account, Jesus answered the disciples’ next two questions out of order. He answered the third question first. What shall be the sign of the end of the world? Jesus divided his answer into three parts. The first part,Matthew 24:4-8, is the pre-tribulation events known as the beginning of sorrows or birth pangs. The second part, Matthew 24:9-14, deals with the first half of the seven-year Tribulation. The third part, Mathew 15-28, describes the last half of the Tribulation.It is known as the Great Tribulation. THE GREAT TRIBULATION “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened,no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened” (Matthew 24:21-22). The Great Tribulation (the last 3.5 years of the seven-year Tribulation) is recorded in Matthew 24:15-28 and Mark 13:14-23. It is not recorded in Luke. The start of the GreatTribulation is when the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet (Daniel 9:27, 12:11), is set up in the Jewish Temple. By Jesus’ statement regarding the abomination of desolation in the holy place within the temple, the disciples realizedthat a new Temple would be constructed sometime after the existing one is destroyed. Jesus informs the future Jews to flee to the mountains after the A.O.D. “for then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world untilthis time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened” (Matthew 24:21-22). After the end of the Tribulation, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light, the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken(Matthew 24:25, Mark 13:24, Luke 21:25-26). Then the survivors of the tribulation will see Jesus coming in the clouds with great power and glory. This is the Second Coming of Jesus to the earth. The sign of the Second Coming will be the Shechinah Glory lightemanating from Jesus, breaking through the worldwide blackout. The regathering of the Jewish saints (Messianic Jews) will occur at this time. “And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather togetherHis elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other” (Matthew 24:30-31, Mark 13:26-27, Luke 21:27-28). Following the Second Coming, the Messiah will send his angels all over the world to regather the surviving (one-third) remnant of “elect” Jews and bring them back into the Land. He will also send His mighty angels and gather the resurrected Old Testament saints that are in heaven and bring them into the land as well. This is the fulfillment of Isaiah 27:12-13. Luke 21: 28 offers words of hopeto the saints of the tribulation, “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads because your redemption draws near.” THE PARABLE OF THE FIG TREE The next comment in the Olivet discourse, which is included in all three synoptic gospels, is the parable of the fig tree. “When the fig tree’s branch has already become tenderand puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth willpass away, but My words will by no means pass away” (Matthew 24:32-35). The fig tree is often figuratively used to represent Israel. In this parable, many scholars believe the budding fig tree represents the re-establishment of the State of Israelin 1948 or the repossession of Jerusalem in 1967. However, some believe it is only an illustration, such as Dr. Fruchtenbaum. “The real point of this passage is that the fig tree is being used literally as an illustration, not as a symbol for Israel. Thisis clearly seen in verse 29 of the Luke passage, which reads Behold the fig tree, and all the trees. If the fig tree represents Israel, what, then, do all the other trees represent? If they refer to other nations, and since a number of nations have risen – and keep rising – since 1948, then when would the forty-year (or 70, 80, 100-year) generational countdown really begin? Neither the fig tree nor the other trees are used symbolically to refer to any nation or nations; rather, they are being used literallyas an illustration. The point of the illustration is this: When the fig tree and all the other trees begin to blossom, it is a sure sign that summer is on its way because blossoming occurs inthe spring. Then, in the application of the illustration, Jesus said, Even so you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Just as a blossoming fig tree means that summer is on its way, in the same way, when these eventsthat Yeshua spoke about occur, then they can know that His return is near. But what is it that signals the soon return of the Lord? It is not the re-establishment of Israel in 1948, because Jesus never mentioned that event in this passage. Rather,the event that He was speaking of was the Abomination of Desolation in the newly rebuilt temple in Jerusalem. When the Abomination of Desolation occurs, it will signal the soon return of the Messiah, namely only 3 1/2 years later. The point of Matthew 24:34 is not that the generation that sees the re-establishment of the Jewish State will still be here at the Second Coming, but rather, the Jewish generationthat sees the Abomination of Desolation will still be here at the Second Coming. Verse 34 is intended to be a word of comfort in light of the worldwide attempt at Jewish destruction. It must be kept in mind that the Abomination of Desolation signals Satan’sand the Antichrist’s final attempt to exterminate the Jews. The fact that the Jewish generation will still be here when the Second Coming of the Messiah occurs shows that Satan’s attempt toward Jewish destruction will fail, and the Jewish saints of the secondhalf of the Tribulation can receive comfort from these words.” {1} JESUS IS NEAR, EVEN AT THE DOOR It’s interesting that Matthew 24:33 can read, “In the same way, when you see all these things, you know that He is near, at the door,” in many English translations. To me,this one-word change (from ‘it’ to ‘he’) changes the context of this verse, especially when it’s used with the door. Jesus said, “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come exceptto steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:9). ”Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him,and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20). “After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, andI will show you things which must take place after this.” Most scholars believe these verses are Rapture related. I believe the parable of the fig tree is a divider between the two comings (parousia) of Christ at the end of the age. The fig tree parable divides the preceding Second Comingverses (Matthew 24:27-31) from the following Rapture verses (Matthew 24:36-51). Just as Jesus answered the disciple’s questions out of order, so did he describe the two comings of Christ out of chronological order. BUT OF THAT DAY AND HOUR NO ONE KNOWS After the parable of the fig tree comes this statement from Jesus. “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only” (Matthew 24:36).Within premillennial and pretribulation circles, the majority view today is that this passage is speaking of the Second Coming rather than the Rapture. The main reason is that Jesus has been speaking about the Second Coming and since this passage follows thatdiscussion then, logically, it would mean that He is speaking of the same thing. However as Dr. Fruchtenbaum observes in his book, The Footsteps of the Messiah, “Matthew 24:36 begins with the word ”But,” which in Greek is peri de. The peri de constructionin Greek is a contrastive introduction of a new subject; hence, it is often translated as: But concerning (I Cor. 7:1; 8:1; 12:1; 16:1; I Thes. 5:1). The use of this construction points to the introduction of a new subject. So, yes, He has been discussingthe Second Coming until this point. However, the peri de means that He is now introducing a new subject, and that is the Rapture. As to the question of when the Rapture will occur, the answer is simple: no one knows. This is not true of the Second Coming ofthe Messiah, which will someday be a datable event; it will occur exactly seven years after the signing of the seven-year covenant and 3 1/2 years – 42 months or 1,260 days – after the Abomination of Desolation.” {2} DISSECTING MATTHEW 24:36-51 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Foras in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two menwill be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch, therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house hadknown what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect” (Matthew 24:36-51). I believe the “day” in verse 36 is referring to the day of the Lord, otherwise known as Jacob’s Trouble, the Tribulation, Daniel’s 70th seven, and other terms. The exact phrase, “day of the Lord’ is used 28 times in the Old Testament and five times in the New Testament. In the Old Testament, this terminology is always referred to as a time of judgment and punishment by God against ungodly sinners who worship false gods. The day ofthe Lord can refer to the actual day (24 hours) of the Second Coming or the entire 7 years of the Tribulation. Thus far, the “day of the Lord” is what Jesus has been talking about in his Olivet discourse. There has been no mention of a Rapture (harpazo – caught up) up to this point. Can you imagine the poor disciples trying to grasp the concept of a future group of dead andstill-living “saints” (believers) being caught up into the sky and transported to heaven (they didn’t even know about heaven at this point, only Paradise/Abraham’s Bosom) before the remaining seven years of Daniel’s 70th seven began? Did the disciples even realize that Jesus’ death came at the 69th “seven” of Daniel’s 70 sevens prophecy? They could barely understand that Jesus was going to be killed andthen resurrected back to life. They didn’t even fully understand His coming again to set up His millennial kingdom or the timing of such. How could Jesus add to their confusion by revealing the mystery of the Rapture at this time? However, that doesn’t meanhe didn’t mention it to them for future remembrance, as we will see. What many Christians don’t understand is that the “day of the Lord” starts with the Rapture of the Church. It isn’t just the seven-year Tribulation. It also encompasses Jesus’ coming in the sky at the Rapture and Jesus’ Second Coming to the earth before His millennial kingdom begins. These are the two bookends of the day of the Lord. Whether this duration is for seven or ten years (as one example), we don’t know. The long-time president of Dallas Theological Seminary and one of the most prominent evangelical scholars and biblical prophecy experts of his generation, John F. Walvoord,had this to say on the subject: “How does the Coming of Christ for his church relate itself to the Day of the Lord which precedes the second coming of Christ by a number of years? This Day of the Lord will come suddenly and unexpectedly. What is the point?The point is that just as the translation (rapture) of the church is the end of the day of grace, it also marks the beginning of the Day of the Lord. In other words, the one event seems to do two things: it serves as the closing of one day and the beginningof the other.” {3} THE TYPOLOGY OF THE DAY AND HOUR The words “hour” and “day” in the Bible can be used literally, as “60 minutes” and “24 hours,” but sometimes they are used figuratively as an indeterminant duration of time.For example, a day can refer to a year and an hour usually refers to a short period of time. An “hour” is even used once for the Tribulation in Revelation 3:10, “ Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial whichshall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” Likewise, there are three instances in the New Testament where the words “the day of the Lord Jesus” are used in reference to the Rapture: 1 Corinthians 1:6-8, 1 Corinthians 5:4-5, and2 Corinthians 1:13-14. Here is an example of the word “day” used typologically (in conjunction with Mr. Walvoord’s statement above). Day 1 is the age of Grace. It started with the giving of theHoly Spirit to Jesus’ disciples at Pentecost (the start of the Church) and will end with the Rapture of the saints (the end of the Church). Day 2 is the Day of the Lord. It will start with the Rapture and will end with the Second Coming of Jesus to the earth.Day 3 consists of the 1,000-year reign of Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords over all the nations of the earth. This Old Testament passage in Hosea could be a prophecy referring to this “three-day” typology. “Come, and let us return unto the Lord; for he has torn, and he will heal us,he has smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall comeunto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth” (Hosea 6:1-3). In Matthew 24:36 and Mark 13:32, I believe the “day” is a typology for the longer period of time, namely the seven-year Tribulation (cumulating with the Second Coming). Thehour is a typology for the shorter period of time, namely the Rapture. Just as the (first) hour is the first part of a 24-hour day, so is the Rapture the first part of the day of the Lord. You could extend this typology further by assigning each “hour” ofthe 24 hours in a “day” an end-time event. The Rapture is the first hour, the time gap between the Rapture and the beginning of the Tribulation is the 2nd hour, the 21 judgments of God (the seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments) would be the 3rd through the 23rdhours, and the 24th hour would be the time between the last bowl judgment and the short period of time before Jesus begins His millennial kingdom (possibly 30 – 75 days per Daniel 12:11-12). With this concept of the Rapture in view, let’s now review the remaining passages in Matthew 24. In verses 37-39, the flood is definitely a typology of the Tribulation. ”Butas the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came andtook them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” The flood came and took all the God-rejecting unbelievers away. In other words, the flood killed them. The flood was the result of the wrath of God, the Antediluvian’s Tribulation. The ark represents Jesus and the rapture of the saints, for it snatches (harpazo) Noah and his family away from the jaws of death. Once Noah’s family (which represents God’schurch family) entered the ark they were saved before the tribulation of the great flood came. Although the world was extremely wicked, the antediluvians were still going about their lives in a normal manner, doing the basics such as eating, drinking, marrying,and giving in marriage until the flood took them away. It appears that Jesus is placing his emphasis on how normal it was before the flood instead of how evil it was. You have to ask yourself, “why?” If Matthew 24:38-39 would have said, “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days of the flood, the wickedness of man wasgreat in the earth, and every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually; and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be,” then I would agree this coming of Christ would be theSecond Advent and not the Rapture. Notice there is no mention of Noah’s ark in this scenario (which is a typology of the Rapture), only the continuous evil of the times, which is comparable to the days before the Second Coming. Before the Rapture and subsequent Tribulation (the two end-time comings of Christ), life is basically normal with people eating, drinking, marrying, and giving in marriage.Although people will still be doing these daily activities before the Second Coming, life will be far from normal. They will just be trying to survive. The unbelieving sinners of Noah’s day did not believe the flood was coming, although they had been warned.They chose not to board the ark. Likewise, the unbelieving sinners who live before the coming of the Son of Man will choose not to accept Jesus as Christ and will miss the Rapture. “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, allthings continue as they were from the beginning of creation” (2 Peter 3:4). Matthew 24:40-41 and Luke 17:34-36 accurately describe the “left behind” scenes occurring all over the world at the Rapture. Now, look at Matthew 24:42. “Watch, therefore,for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.” Why do you suppose Jesus said “hour” instead of “day” or even “day and hour” as he did before? I really don’t think he is talking about an hour in a 24-hour day. He is referring to the symbolic hour of theRapture, which will occur before the seven-year Tribulation. THE HOUR OF THE THIEF IN THE NIGHT The next words of Jesus are: “But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to bebroken into” (Matthew 24:43). What is Jesus talking about here? He is comparing the Rapture to a thief in the night. This same terminology is used again by Paul in 1 Thessalonians. “But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need thatI should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape” (1 Thessalonians 5:1-3). The first part of the day of the Lord is the hour of the Rapture. It will come unexpectantly like a thief in the night. Is it a coincidence that 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3, regarding the day of the Lord, immediately follows the chapter in 1 Thessalonians 4, which is one of the two main passagesdescribing the Rapture of the Church? “For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout,with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And we shall always be with the Lord” (1Thessalonians 4:15-17). So, there you have the sequence of end-time events. First, the Rapture in 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 and then the Tribulation in 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3. The next verse in Matthew’s version of the Olivet Discourse is: “Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect” (Matthew 24:44). Thereis that word “hour” again…Jesus coming at an hour that you do not expect is the Rapture, not the Second Coming. Whereas the Rapture’s date is unknowable, the Second Coming of the Messiah will someday be a datable event; it will occur exactly seven years afterthe signing of the seven-year covenant and 3 1/2 years – 42 months or 1,260 days – after the Abomination of Desolation. WATCH AND BE READY Here is how Dr. Fruchtenbaum describes Jesus’ exhortation to “watch and to be ready:” “There is also the supplication in Matthew 24:43-44, Mark 13:35, and Luke 21:34-36 towatch for the purpose of escaping the Tribulation. Throughout the Olivet Discourse, to watch means, “to be ready.” Watching is the equivalent of readiness, and readiness is equivalent to salvation. So the means of escaping the Tribulation is by means of salvation.Only those who accept the Messiah before the Rapture of the Church can be ready and watching. Luke gives two reasons for watching: first, so that believers may escape all these things that shall come to pass during the Tribulation. What Luke states in verse 35 shouldnot be missed. He points out that the Tribulation will come upon all them that dwell on the face of all the earth. In other words, no one living on the earth can escape the effects of the Tribulation. It will fall upon all earth-dwellers. In verse 36, Lukealso states there is a possibility to escape all these things that shall come to pass. This possibility is not if one is on the earth. Hence, to escape all these things, one must be off the earth. The second reason for watching is so that the believer mightstand before the Son of Man in Heaven. This will be the result of the Rapture: we stand before the Son of Man and by standing before Him, we escape all these things. Both of these things can only be accomplished by the Rapture, and that is why to watch isto be saved.” {4} THE PARABLE OF THE FAITHFUL SERVANT AND THE EVIL SERVANT Now, let’s look at the closing passage of Matthew’s version of the Olivet Discourse with the hour of the Rapture in mind. This is a parable called the faithful servant andthe evil servant. “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. Assuredly, I say to you that he will makehim ruler over all his goods. But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming (Rapture), and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he isnot looking for him and at an hour (Rapture) that he is not aware of, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 24:45-51). [this authors emphasis and text in parenthesisadded] Of course, this same “hour” is also mentioned in the other synoptic gospels as well, specifically Mark 13:32 and Luke 12:39,40,46. It is also found in the Book of John. “Thehour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, becauseHe is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation” (John 5:25-29). The first part of verse 25, “the hour is coming,” refers to the future resurrection at the Rapture. The second part of verse 25, “and now is,” refers to the time after thecrucifixion, when Jesus and many saints were brought back to life. They became the first fruits of the dead in Christ to be resurrected (Matthew 27:52-53). It’s interesting that Jesus used the word “hour” instead of “day” in this passage of scripture. Thenext hour mentioned in verse 28 encompasses all of the different resurrections that will occur. They include those who have done good: Jesus and the first fruits, the Church at the Rapture, Old Testament saints, and Tribulation martyrs. This hour is also referringto the resurrection of the unbelievers, those who have done evil, that occurs after the Millennium, at the great white throne judgment. JESUS’ DISCUSSIONS WITH THE DISCIPLES REGARDING THE RAPTURE Even though the Lord never gave a clear teaching on the Rapture of the Church, he did mention it briefly outside the Olivet discourse a few times in the gospels. “But takeheed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray alwaysthat you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:3-35). These are clear hints that the Church will be delivered from the end-times judgment by the pre-tribulation Rapture. The onlytime we will be worthy to stand before the Son of Man in His glorified state is at the Rapture when we are in our new glorified bodies that resemble His. The clearest hint or mention of the Rapture is found in the gospel book of John. I believe the very first mention of the Rapture is in John, chapter 11. “I am the resurrectionand the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die” (John 11:25-26). This is a tremendous statement that I am certain the disciples didn’t fully understand. It is describing the two stagesof the Rapture. “Though he may die, he shall live” is describing the dead in Christ being raised from the dead to everlasting life. “Whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die” is describing those believers who are alive at the time of the Rapture. They/wewill never die but will be raised to glory in Christ Jesus. We are part of the first fruits of the LORD. The next mention of the Rapture is found in John 14, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if itwere not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:1-3). This is not a Second Coming passage but a Rapturepassage. Jesus is saying if you believe in Him, He will come one day and receive you/us unto Himself and take you/us to His home in heaven. Once again, I am certain the disciples didn’t fully understand Jesus’ words. Although Jesus referred to the Rapture in several of the gospels, he didn’t expound upon it or teach his disciples fully about it. The apostles were both emotionally and theologicallyunprepared to receive this revelation at this time. It would be left up to Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles to give a clear and detailed teaching of the Rapture. However, the disciples would eventually remember the words of Jesus, including his teachingson the Mount of Olives. “These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bringto your remembrance all things that I said to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I. And now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe” (John 14:25-29). “Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and theProphets and the Psalms concerning Me.” And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures” (Luke 24:44-45). The Jews have always required a sign before they would believe (1 Corinthians 1:22). Jesus’ disciples were no different. The disciples wanted to know what would be the signof Jesus’ coming back to the earth to set up His kingdom. What supernatural sign from God would be greater than the Rapture of the Church (consisting of both Gentiles and Jews)? How’s that for a sign? If millions of people from around the world disappear allof a sudden (in the blinking of an eye) on a particular day and hour, minute, and second; and you are not one of them, you had better come to the conclusion that this is a supernatural sign from God. He wants those left behind (both Jews and Gentiles) to knowthat the end is near and Jesus is coming again, just as the Bible says. This time He will not come for salvation, but for judgment. “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:36). The Wine Press reports: �After a month of banking turmoil around the world, the American megabank JP Morgan announced earlier this week the launch of a pilot program for a new facial recognitionpayment platform, which they plan to franchise to other banks and businesses to use. Other credit card companies have introduced similar type of payment systems, such as VISA�s contactless payment and facial recognition system for last year�s FIFA World Cupin Qatar, or Mastercard�s �Smile to Pay� feature.� On its website, Visa invites us to learn �how to tap to pay� with its contactless payment systems. Apple has offered biometric log-ins for its cellphones for several yearsand now you can just point your phone or your AppleWatch to some of these systems and, bingo, you�re ready to check out. You can see on its website the long list of retail participants in Visa�s contactless system, including McDonalds, Aldi, Costco, CVS Pharmacy,7-Eleven, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, OfficeMax, Whole Foods, etc. Visa explains its system as follows: �Contactless payments are transactions made by tapping either a contactless card or payment-enabled mobile or wearable device over a contactless-enabled payment terminal.Cards, phones, watches, and other devices use the same contactless technology. When you tap to pay, checkout is secure and convenient.� Every time corporate America rolls out a new technological advancement, the selling point is always the same. It�s always more safe, secure and convenient. JP Morgan expounded on its new contactless payment system in a March 23 press release: �J.P. Morgan will begin piloting biometrics-based payments with select retailers in the U.S. This is the first pilot solution to launch from J.P. Morgan Payments� new CommerceSolutions suite of products, dedicated to helping merchants adapt to the rapidly evolving payments landscape. �Its biometrics-based payment pilot includes palm and face identification for payments authentication in-store and works on an enroll-capture-authenticate-pay basis. What are the "great scientists" of our age mostly preoccupied by? Climate change. They say we have only a few years until it catchesup with us and the world become virtually uninhabitable. We're on the verge of a climate apocalypse, they say. The latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report, published this week, prompted a typically dire response in the media and beyond. "It's our last chance to limit global warming before climate-change damage becomes irreversible," the panel reported. The media and their Big Tech bosses take this threat as if it is the gospel truth. It cannot be countered by logic or debate. So we're building windmills furiously. We're replacing our gas stoves. Once the greatest energy producer in the world, the United States, is seemingly dropping it altogether.Electric cars are du jour, replacing gasoline. Pipelines for gas and gasoline are being destroyed because activists claim that our extinction is just a few short years away. When you ask how seriously down-to-earth people take climate change, it doesn't even make the list of top concerns. In the U.S., most people list their top concerns sensibly – given the outrageous problems we face. It's the elites, the politicians, the Democrats who seem to be deluded. It began to take root to the first EarthDay, which I took part in as a naïve high schooler in April 1970. There was no Environmental Protection Agency back then. There was no Clean Air Act. But green apocalypticism is a deeply anti-human narrative. By casting the achievements of humanity as sinful, it deprives us of many of our sources of strength and hope. They talk about how American childrenare less likely to live to age five than children in other countries and that people are being killed in the US before age 50—pointing to teen pregnancy, drug overdoses, HIV, fatal car crashes, injuries, and violence—they specifically stated semi-automaticweapons and mass shootings. In typical fashion, the researchers seemed to discount the leading cause of death, heart disease, and focus on social aspects—lack of universal healthcare, gun ownership,racial disparities, etc. One researcher said that “Two years difference in life expectancy probably comes from the fact that firearms are so available in the United States.” This is an erroneous assumption. The Department of Justice documents approximately9,000 gun-related deaths per year in the US. Drunk driving kills over 10,000 people a year. The Centers for Disease Control reports the five leading causes of death in the US are: Heart disease: 695,547; Cancer: 605,213; COVID-19: 416,893; Accidents (unintentionalinjuries): 224,935; and Stroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 162,890. It’s difficult to meet the straight face test in saying guns and driving cause the life expectancy to be lowered, especially when there were over 416,000 deaths attributedto COVID. And we are seeing empirical evidence that COVID vaccines, having been thrust onto the US population by government, media, and drug company fear mongering, could be causing American life expectancy to tank. For example, statistics analyzed by SteveKirsch—who the government, media, and drug companies label as a provider of COVID misinformation—indicate that among the COVID-vaxed aged 65 and younger, sudden death was the leading cause of death in 2021 and 2022, followed by cardiac-related death and cancer.Myocarditis killed more than COVID-19. Selah.” Like this psalm by the sons of Korah, Isaiah also wrote of a time when the Lord’s House will be established and He will be worshiped above all. People will throng to honorHim on the “Mountain of the Lord.” Wars will have ceased. There will be no more weapons. God will be exalted among the nations (See Isaiah 2:2-4). What kind of wonderful dream is this? Well, it won’t happen during the current age. There is much more that must ensue before this beautiful scene will be realized. The timeis coming when there will be a great war such as the world has never seen. It will be a time when the armies of the earth will gather in collective revolt against God and fight against the Lord Jesus Himself! We know that Jesus is the Lamb of God, humble, gentle, meek, silent when accused. But it won’t be the Lamb against whom they will wage their battle. This time He will meetthem as the Lion of Judah on the plains of Megiddo, where they will meet their demise. Christians make a huge mistake these days in their efforts to make Christianity appealing by catering to the whims of man and adapting the message to his desires. People wantthe “ends” (meaning peace and prosperity) but not the “means” that will bring that about. They want peace without the Prince of Peace and they want the Millennium without having to repent. They claim that they want a world in which righteousness dwells, butthey want righteousness redefined. Doing the work of the Lord is to bring about a kingdom in which true righteousness dwells, and this can only come about through God bringing disasters unlike anything seenbefore to this earth (see Zephaniah 1:14-18). When someone believes that wars can cease without God breaking the bow and cutting the spear in two by punishing the wicked, they have essentially dethroned God and taken His place. Our psalm today tells us that God will be exalted among the nations and exalted in all the earth! People don’t want to honor and worship God, because Self has the throne intheir hearts. And yet they want to believe that heaven is still in their future someday. Jesus said, “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord’ and do not do the things which I say?” He continues by comparing them to the man who built a house upon the sand without afoundation that was destroyed when the flood came. We need to search our hearts. We must accept God for who He says He is and believe that He will do what He said He would do. Whether one believes it or not, it will come topass. Merely saying, “Praise the Lord” but not obeying Him is merely to give lip service to Him. The highest praise is seen, not merely sung. Jesus is coming soon, ready or not, and He will break the bow and cut the spear in two and burn the chariots in fire,then we will have peace. But before that, we need to make certain that when we share this beautiful truth with nonbelievers we also warn them of what will come first and not be afraid of their possiblerejection. Those “who have an ear to hear” will hear, and their lives will be changed for much better things than they experienced when their own “self” sat upon the throne that rightfully belongs to our Maker.

 TheNations Rage By Hal Lindsey Modern Israel will soon celebrate its 75th anniversary. Those 75 years have been full of difficulties and tragedies. But they have also been a time of astounding miracles. The Six Day War in 1967 provides a spectacular pictureof God working in modern times. There are hundreds of stories of God doing the kind of miracles in that war that He did in the days of Abraham, Moses, and David. But we should not find that surprising because the miraculous permeates the entire history ofmodern Israel. Last week in this space, I talked about the world’s response to this miracle. The United Nations has officially dubbed it a “catastrophe.” On November 30th of last year, the UN passed a resolution to commemorate “Nakba Day” (“the day of catastrophe”). That commemoration will come in part at “a high-level event” to be held in the General Assembly Hall of the United Nations building in New York City. The Nakba specifically refers to Palestinians who became refugees during the Arab war on Israel in 1948. But the new Israeli government did not push them out. Arab nations ordered them to leave. UN resolutions in 1947 laidout a plan for two states — a Jewish one and an Arab one. Israel accepted this arrangement, but the Arab nations rejected it. They chose to defy the United Nations and go to war with Israel instead. Bear in mind the Arab nations expelled more Jews during that time (over 810,000) than the number of Palestinians who left Israeli lands (710,000). Heeding the false promises made by invading Arab armies, Palestinians choseto leave Israel. But Jews were forced to leave Arab nations. The obvious injustice toward Israel in all of this staggers the mind. Why? What mysterious force pushes men toward the unreasoning hatred of Jews that has characterized so much of the world for so many centuries? Psalm 2:1 (NKJV) asks, “Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing?” Is this rage about Jews, or is it about something deeper? The next two verses of the 2nd Psalm give the answer. “The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against HisAnointed.” This Psalm depicts the world’s leaders taking counsel together against God. When it says, “and against His Anointed,” it has an immediate meaning and a long-term meaning. In the first instance, it was a reference to the kingof Israel at that time, probably David. But “anointed one” literally means “Messiah.” Long term, this means Jesus. Their rage against Israel, Jews, and Judaism is really a rage against God the Father and God the Son. In world history, God has worked through the nation of Israel in special ways. Through Israel’s prophets, God spoke to the world. And when the time was right, it was through Israel that God sent His only begotten Son into theworld. In both of these ways, God chose Israel as a gateway for Himself into our world. He could have done it any way He wanted, but He chose to do it like this. He chose Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and their descendants. Even though they, too, have repeatedly rebelled against God, they still hold their special place in God’s plan for planet earth. They have paid and continue to pay a tremendous price for their rebellion, but their place inGod’s plan will never change. So, Satan repeatedly stirs up the kingdoms of the world against them. The Bible Exposition Commentary by Warren W. Wiersbe puts it well. “From the tower of Babel to the crucifixion of Christ to the battle of Armageddon, the Bible records humanity's foolish and futile rebellions against the willof the Creator.” Today, that rebellion often manifests itself in blind hatred of Israel.

Powerful tyrannical unbelievers are now imposing (forcing) their false religious beliefs on America. They are transforming the world into a world without God, and sadly, many church members are going along with it, doing nothing, or choosing to remain silent. But it is more than powerful tyrannical unbelievers imposing their corrupt religious beliefs upon America (and the world); they are also imposing a corrupt government uponthe world (against the will of multitudes, without a vote, etc.). They don’t believe it, but they are preparing the religious and governmental stage for the two most powerful people that will rule on earth during the Tribulation Period:the False Prophet and the Antichrist. This is not a conspiracy theory. It is fact, and the world will likely cross the point of no return at the World Health Organization (WHO) Assembly meeting on May 21-30, 2023. (Note: The nations will be givena period of time to put the new global laws into practice and start enforcing them.) The Apocalypse (Tribulation Period) is coming (Isa. 24:1-23), and people need to be sure they are rapture ready (saved). (Confession:I have studied, talked, and written about the coming world government for more than 40 years, but something I didn’t foresee from studying the Scriptures was the 14-year (2016-2030) transition period that would take the world from more than 190 sovereign nationsto a one-world government. History is now more than halfway through that transition period and steadily moving toward an antichrist world government.) Here are more events that seem to relate to current events. One, concerning the imposition of false religious beliefs uponAmerica: on Mar. 3, 2023, California’s Pleasant Grove High School’s staff and administration sponsored a drag show with six students performing in drag. All students were required to attend; gender-confused drag queens wore wigs and dresses, danced on the gym floor, removed part of their clothing, and promoted the gay agenda. School officials responded to complaints by saying the drag show was “held in full compliance with student codes of conduct and existing requirements for on-campus events.” Two, concerning the spread of false religious beliefs around theworld: on Mar. 16, 2023, the Pres. of Uganda blasted the West for imposing the LGBT agenda upon his nation. He urged the West to mind its own business when it comes to the issue of homosexuality. Three, concerning corruption in Washington: on Mar. 16, 2023,James Comer, House Oversight Committee Chairman, released a first summary of bank records (on Mar. 15, Comer said the Bidens were receiving money from a lot of Chinese bank accounts, so there may be more summaries to come). The House Oversight Committee’s first summary documents the transfer of $3 million from a Chinese company to a U.S. company. After receiving the money, the U.S. company transferred $1.3 million to former Vice Pres. Biden’s family in Mar. 2017 (Biden’s son, brother, daughter-in-law, and a fourthmember of the Biden family identified only as Biden). Concerning the Biden's, Comer said, “I think we’re gonna see there are probably six or seven Biden family members that were involved in various business schemes around the world.” At this time, the House Oversight Committee said they can’t prove that any money was transferred from Chinese banks to Pres. Biden, but they can prove that he was meetingwith people from China around the time money was being transferred to U.S. companies that, in part, was passed on to members of the Biden family. (More:On Mar. 17, 2023, Pres. Biden denied reports that an associate of Hunter Biden transferred more than $1 million from a Chinese firm to members of the Biden family.) (More:On Mar. 17, 2023, it was reported that the House Oversite Committee now has proof that Chinese money was transferred to Hunter Biden while his dad was Vice-Pres. of the U.S. One pundit asked, “Why did Chinese companies transfer money to several members ofthe Biden family over and over again if they weren’t getting anything for it, and what were they getting?”) (My opinion:I believe Biden became Pres. and has survived all of this because he is a puppet of the Deep State, and he obediently pushes the New World Order. But this scandal may eventually get him out of office because some in his own party do not think he can win in2024. Whether he runs or not, I cannot predict, but I do not doubt that the Deep State has another puppet waiting in the wings if Biden has to be replaced.) Four, concerning the elimination of borders to create a worldgovernment: U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security (DHS) Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas keeps telling Congress the U.S. border is secure. On Mar. 16, 2023, U.S. Border Patrol Chief, Raul Ortiz, told members of the U.S. House Homeland Security Committee, “the U.S. does not have operational control of its border.” The border is either secure, or it is not, and someone is lying to the American people. Some members of the U.S. House Homeland Security Committee believe Ortiz is telling the truth, the Biden administration has turned control of the U.S.-Mexico border over tothe drug cartels, and they are seeking proof one way or the other. Five, concerning deceit: Covid-19 has been used to close churches,schools, and businesses, reduce the population of the earth, increase the power of the WHO, move the world closer to a world government, and more. The U.S. House Select Committee on the Coronavirus Pandemic says it has uncovered evidence that Dr. Anthony Fauci abused his authority and misled Congress during its investigationof the lab-leak theory. This man, who abused his authority and misled (lied to) Congress, has gone unpunished, and he recently said Americans will probably be required to take Covid-19 booster shotsin the future. Six, concerning the New World Order (world government): on Mar.16, 2023, it was reported that Chinese Pres. Xi Jinping wants to create (and be the leader of) a better world order (a clear rejection of the leadership of Pres. Biden and the U.S.). Seven, concerning a falling away in the Church: on Mar. 16, 2023,it was reported that Pope Francis said Hell is not a place, and he implied that there is no one in a place called Hell. He said Hell is a state of the heart and a posture toward life. Eight, concerning persecution of believers during the TribulationPeriod: on Mar. 7, 2023, the U.K. Parliament voted to criminalize prayer, even silent prayer, near an abortion clinic. It reminds me that Daniel’s enemies got King Darius to forbid prayer to anyone but him for 30 days (Dan. 6). Daniel continued to kneel in front of his window and pray to God three times a day. This got him thrown into a lion’s den, God delivered him, and his enemies were ultimately fed to the lions. People who become believers during the Tribulation Period will be forbidden to pray to God and told to pray to a statue of the Antichrist instead. Rebellion will get multitudes killed, but the Antichrist and False Prophet will ultimately be cast into the Lake of Fire. Nine, the pro-world government of the Netherlands has been crushingfarmers with restrictions on their use of fertilizer, how many cows they can own and milk, buying up their land, and more. In an election on Mar 15, 2023, several pro-world government officials were voted out of office and replaced with pro-farmer candidates. It is going to be harder for the pro-world government politicians to push their agenda, but they may still get some of it through. Anyway, voters need to realize that voting against candidates that support the New World Order (regardless of party) may be the only way to protect themselves. Ten, concerning a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) and thetracking of all buying and selling: on Mar. 8, 2023, Federal Reserve Chair, Jerome Powell, told the U.S. House Financial Committee that the Federal Reserve will launch a new service called FedNow in July 2023. When FedNow goes into effect (in July): •Powell said any bank in the U.S. will be able to immediately transfer money from the Federal Reserve to a customer. •Cointelegraph, a publication that covers cryptocurrencies, blockchain, internet financing, etc., said FedNow could take the place of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). •Joe Brown, a financial advisor, said when FedNow becomes fully functional, every bank that participates will have an account with the Federal Reserve, and they will be justone step away from establishing a CBDC. •Brown added, “Make no mistake, a central bank digital currency is coming, and it looks like this new FedNow service is just the launch of the infrastructure (the beginningof the enrollment of banks) for launching the full version of the CBDC later on.” (My opinion.A CBDC is coming, and it will require a digital ID. A digital currency and ID could be just a few months away; it will take time to enroll banks, etc., but tracking all buying and selling only needs to be in effect by the middle of the Tribulation Period.) Eleven, concerning the Temple, it must be rebuilt to fulfill manyprophecies: •The abomination of desolation (the Antichrist or a statue of him) must stand in the holy place (Matt. 24:15). •The Antichrist must sit in the Temple and say that he is God (II Thess. 2:3-4). •The Antichrist must stop the animal sacrifices at the middle of the Tribulation Period (Dan. 9:27). It is the opinion of some prophecy teachers, including myself, that the Rapture will take place before the Temple is rebuilt and the animal sacrifices are resumed there. This would mean that if we are close to the Temple being rebuilt and the animal sacrifices being restarted, we are even closer to the Rapture of the Church. During Old Testament times, when the Jews were wandering in the wilderness, the priests that carried the tabernacle, set it up, took it down, and served there had to be descendantsof Aaron, and they had to be cleansed with water of purification made with the ashes of a red heifer without spot and blemish (Num. 19). In like manner, those that rebuild the Temple and serve there in the future must be descendants of Aaron, and they must be cleansed with the water of purification made withthe ashes of a red heifer without spot and blemish. This has been a big problem because the Romans destroyed the herd of red heifers when they destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 A.D. Israel has had red heifers that were perfect when they were born, but whether any remained perfect until they reached the required age is debatable. The number one goal of a group of religious Jews called The Temple Institute is to rebuild the Temple and resume the animal sacrifices. Some have said the absence of a perfect red heifer simply means that God is not ready for the Temple to be rebuilt, but when God gets ready for the Temple to be rebuilt, Hewill provide a perfect red heifer to purify the priests for construction and service. On Sept. 15, 2022, the Temple Institute announced that they have 5 perfect red heifers in their possession that were raised by a Christian rancher in Texas named Byron Stinson(plus they already had one that qualifies). On Sept. 27, 2022, it was reported that a plot of land that meets the requirements for an animal sacrifice was purchased 12 years ago. •The land must be on the Mount of Olives (It is). •The land must be located so people can see where the Temple stood (They can). According to Byron Stinson, the Christian rancher that raised the red heifers in Texas, Christians can support the sacrifice and rebuilding of the Temple because the blindingof the Jews will cease when the Antichrist defiles the Temple, and all Israel will hear the gospel and get saved. Byron Stinson was recently interviewed by CBNNEWS.COM, and on Mar. 17, 2023, it was reported that he said, “We believe that it’s very likely that the ceremony (the sacrificeof an unblemished red heifer) would happen somewhere in the area of Passover 2024, out to the possibility of Shavuot (Pentecost on the Christian calendar) 2024.” Stinson added, “Somewhere in that timeline (between Passover and Pentecost of 2024), the cows (red heifers) would be old enough, and it would be the proper timeline for thatceremony.” According to the Mar. 17, 2023 article, Rabbi Yitshak Mamo, the priest that bought the land on the Mount of Olives 12 years ago: •The red heifer must be sacrificed by a priest that has not been defiled by touching anything dead. •The Temple Institute has 9 priests that were born at home (not in a hospital) and have never been to a cemetery or touched anything dead. If just one of the red heifers is unblemished this time next year, a priest could sacrifice it, and construction of the Temple could begin shortly after that.
