What If The Last Year Was Only A Taste Of What Is To Come?

What If The Last Year Was Only A Taste Of What Is To Come? One of the ways the global cabal is attempting to implement The Great Reset and the Fourth Industrial Revolution is by putting global supply chains at risk to bring the economy to its knees. I warned about this looming threat in my article What the FuturePortends: 10 Predictions for 2021 and Beyond. The narrative being sold to the public goes like this. The new wave of COVID-19 infections caused by various Greek-letter variants, major disruptions due to natural disasters (attributed to climate change), and cyber-attacks targeting key industries arecausing worker shortages and the inability for ships and other major transport systems to reach their destinations. This "shortage" of workers and goods such as food and computer chips plays right into globalist stooges' hands. As prices skyrocket, the economy will further deteriorate and panic will rule the day. People desperate for basic necessities will turn to lootingand violence which will give governments a new excuse to lockdown and subdue their populations. The true narrative points to global forces using these unfolding calamities as the perfect convergence of manufactured "problem-reaction-solution" scenarios. These "existential" crises are deliberately put in motion to move the world towards global governancebased on the UN (Agenda 2030) Sustainable Development goals, a new blockchain based financial system, and a China-like surveillance state. Pandemics, climate change, cyber terror, and manufactured supply shortages are trojan horses used to remove individual rights, destroy nations and governments, and push people into a new technocratic society. All of these events allow governments to implement "emergency" measures while consolidating more power. As these scenarios play out, control mechanisms such as biometric surveillance, smart technology, social credit, Universal Basic Income, mandatory vaccination, and digital ID/wallet systems are steadily materializing. A new article in the Insurance Journal provides details to the changes rapidly taking place as the global supply chain is threatened. The article states: Events have conspired to drive global supply chains towards breaking point, threatening the fragile flow of raw materials, parts and consumer goods, according to companies, economists and shipping specialists. The Delta variant of the coronavirus has devastated parts of Asia and prompted many nations to cut off land access for sailors. That's left captains unable to rotate weary crews and about 100,000 seafarers stranded at sea beyond their stints in a flashbackto 2020 and the height of lockdowns. Meanwhile, deadly floods in economic giants China and Germany have further ruptured global supply lines that had yet to recover from the first wave of the pandemic, compromising trillions of dollars of economic activity that rely on them. Manufacturing industries are reeling. Automakers, for example, are again being forced to stop production because of disruptions caused by COVID-19 outbreaks. Toyota Motor Corp said this week it had to halt operations at plants in Thailand and Japan because they couldn't get parts. Buckling supply chains are hitting the United States and China, the world's economic motors that together account for more 40% of global economic output. This could lead to a slowdown in the global economy, along with rising prices for all manner of goodsand raw materials. Ports across the globe are suffering the kinds of logjams not seen in decades, according to industry players. The China Port and Harbour Association said on Wednesday that freight capacity continued to be tight. A cyber attack hit South African container ports in Cape Town and Durban this week, adding further disruptions at the terminals. If all that were not enough, in Britain the official health app has told hundreds of thousands of workers to isolate following contact with someone with COVID-19 -- leading to supermarkets warning of a short supply and some petrol stations closing. Richard Walker, managing director of supermarket group Iceland Foods, turned to Twitter to urge people not to panic buy. "We need to be able to supply stores, stock shelves and deliver food," he wrote. Another recent article from The Conversation details how extensive the shortages are, stating: It expands to include a whole range of products like lumber and other building materials, tools, foodstuffs, seeds, furniture, cleaning supplies, aluminum cans, jars, pools and pool equipment, chemicals, bicycles, camping gear, household appliances andreplacement parts of all kinds. In many cases supply chains have been simultaneously squeezed on both ends -- supply and demand. The empty store shelves that dotted the landscape at the beginning of last year's plandemic is only a taste of what is to come. Manufactured famine would be the perfect way to introduce complete control of the food supply. The ultimate goal is to eliminate meat-eating and increase consumption of GMO crops and synthetic food as only a few major corporations would control the entire world's food supply. This is why Bill Gates is now the largest landowner in the U.S. Recently, there have already been major "cyber attacks" by mysterious hacker groups on a major U.S. gasoline pipeline (Colonial) and global food supplier (JBS). The power grid failure in Texas this past February created shortages of water, food, and heatfor short periods, but caused much devastation and even death. In March, a container ship blocked both lanes of the Suez Canal and kept vessels from crossing for an entire week leading to inflated oil prices and long shipping delays. Current drought conditions in the western United States exacerbated by wildfiresand extreme high temperatures are ruining vegetation and impacting the water supply. These events along with a "cyber pandemic" could easily trigger a worldwide crisis. World Economic Forum frontman and globalist Klaus Schwab has warned of an event to come that could make the coronavirus "pandemic" seem like a small disturbance. The World Economic Forum sponsored Cyber Polygon events have been creating simulations of massive cyber-attacks that could completely disrupt finance, global trade, power grids, and life as we know it. Will these simulations go live in the near future? Originally published at Activist Post - reposted with permission. Jesus Describes Our Time

Jesus Describes Our Time - By Terry James - https://www.raptureready.com/2021/07/29/jesus-describes-our-time-terry-james/ The Apostle Paul describes the generation that will be on the stage of earth’s history during mankind’s final scenes of this describes Our Time dispensation perhaps better than any other human author. We’ve gone over hismany characteristics of end-times man in a number of commentaries. But Paul’s prophetic words about perilous times to come—except for the very few times he says are him, not God, speaking—are inspired by the One who is the Word. Jesus is the true Author ofthe Bible (John 1:1). So when we read words issued straight from the Lord’s own mouth, they have special significance. No one but God knows the end from the beginning. His Word proves that againand again. So Jesus’ words on things to come are profoundly important to read and heed. With that in mind, let’s consider Jesus’ words as juxtaposed against the issues and events of these troublous times that so often vex us, as Lot, the believer of ancienttimes who lived in Sodom, might have put it. Jesus, when asked by His disciples about the signs of His Second Coming, said: Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; andfearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. (Luke 21:10–11) The Lord, in other places, described these signs as coming upon the earth in birth-pang-like convulsions. There would be an increase in frequency and intensity of theseissues and events. It will be, He indicated, much like a woman when she is having painful contractions in the process of giving birth. One of the key indicators for us to look at in Christ’s prophecy is the term “nation against nation.” We’ve pointed out many times that the Greek word for “nation” in this case is ethnos. Jesus was foretelling a time when there would be a tremendous rise in ethnic conflicts. This is one of the key descriptions of our times. We have to look no further than our own nation, the United States, to determine that we are in ethnic turmoil. And it is contrived turmoil, foisted upon us by globalistswho want to move America into a one-world configuration. The Black Lives Matter and Antifa are proven to be groups organized and funded by the likes of George Soros, a man dedicated to creating a global order. These organizations have ginned up the ever-intensifying rage of rebellious anarchists within those who harbor racial hatred that has literally brought American cities toruin societally, culturally, and, most assuredly, economically. In my view, the so-called COVID pandemic continues to be used by the globalists as a bludgeon against America’s people. The powers and principalities of Ephesians 6:12 arefomenting this nation-against-nation, end-of-the-age conflict. This brings together the terms in Jesus’ prophecy, “ethnic hatreds and pestilence.” Although COVID and its proliferating strains is a contrived pestilence, it is pestilencenonetheless. It is a precursor to the great, real pandemics that will kill millions during the Tribulation era. What we are seeing now is implementation of a control mechanism that is laying groundwork for the coming Antichrist regime to use. Jesus, the greatest of all prophets, described precisely this racial hatred that would be prevalent just before He returns to put an end to this wicked, rebellious cabal.God’s Word warns about this evil and its fatal destiny in Psalm 2. The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and castaway their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. (Psalm 2:2–5) Jesus stated further: And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring. (Luke 21:25) Although a case can easily be made for astonishing evidence of things going on in space that have people looking into that dark vastness for answers, it is the second partof this prophecy that is profoundly relevant to this time so near the end of the Age of Grace. Economic turmoil caused by the worldwide COVID lockdowns has the nations in distress with great and growing perplexity. Great Britain, France, Australia, and other majorWestern economies are experiencing conditions like those described by the Lord. America, the nation to whose dollar most all the world is intricately linked, is but one event or occurrence away from total collapse. Although our government and the mainstream media won’t confess this before the American people or the world that depends on the dollar, that collapse could come at any moment,it is feared by many in the know. Some perhaps not so much in the know, in terms of economic acumen (yours truly, for example), understand in their spirits that the moment that breaks the proverbial camel’sback is about to occur. I write, of course, about the Rapture of all believers in Jesus Christ for salvation of their souls. Jesus’ words are recorded, finally, pointing toward that moment of removal from the Tribulation that will follow that great event. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. (Luke 21: 28) ------------------------------------------------------ Righteousness Through Christ - Nathele Graham - twotug@embarqmail.com As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: there is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. Romans 3:10-11. What is righteousness? It describes someone who is innocent and without fault. Its used to describe a person who thinks, feels, and acts, wholly to conform to the will of God. Does that describe you? Id like it to describe me, but I fall short. The only one who ever was fullyrighteous was Jesus Christ. Only through Him can we sinners be righteous before God. Im sure that, at times. you have angry thoughts toward other people. I know Im guilty of unreasonable anger on occasion. Thats only human, right? Should we condone ourown thoughts and actions by comparing ourselves to other humans? No. Jesus is our example. He was fully human and tempted in every way that we are tempted, but He never sinned. He was also fully God, His blood was pure in order to take our sin away. His righteousnessis imparted to believers, by faith in spite of our failures. In Chapters 1 and 2 of the letter to Romans, the Apostle Paul makes a strong point that nobody is righteous enough to stand before God. All of creation points to the fact that God exists and hasrules to live by. Because mankind needed guidance, God gave us that guidance. Abraham was told to circumcise all males. That established a covenant between the Jewish people and God, but isnt a means of salvation and more than being baptized is a means ofsalvation. Many years later, God gave the Law to Moses, which established rituals and works that never could bring salvation. Does this mean the Jewish people were more righteous than Gentiles? It means they were entrusted with the Law which ultimately wasfulfilled by the Messiah, Jesus the Christ. What advantage then hath the Jew? Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. Romans 3:1-2. The Jewish people were chosen by God for a very special purpose. He called themout of the pagan culture around them, and gave them the Law, which wasnt humanly possible to keep perfectly. It provided a long list of dos and donts and sacrifices. It was a guide, but even if a person was able to keep it perfectly, it was works based, and works can never bring salvation. Keeping the Law was based upon rites and religion. The proper rituals had to be done in the proper way. These laws helped to separate the Jewish people from the rest of the world, but only faith in the coming Messiah couldbring salvation. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:8. Chapter 11 of the letter to the Hebrews gives a roll call of Old Testament believers who acted on faith and accomplished great thingsbecause of their faith, not their works. It was through the Jewish people that the Messiah would be born and today, salvation is offered to anyone who will believe in the finished work of Christ on the cross. The Law was a school master, and Christians need to study it to understand what God deems as sin. By human standards, most of us are pretty good people. We might gossipabout a friend, but doesnt everybody? We all get angry, but our anger is always justified, right? Instead of judging our actions by how other people act, Jesus is our standard. Some things we accept today as normal were punishable by death according tothe Law. For instance, sexual encounters outside of a one man/one woman marriage was a capital offense. Exodus chapter 18 and Deuteronomy chapter 22 tell of sexual sin and the penalty. But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faithwhich should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. Galatians 3:23-25. Gods law has never changed, but was fulfilled by Jesus. By faith we are forgiven, but we arent to continue in sin. The Law teaches that God values marriage. Jesus values marriage and attended a wedding. In the Gospel of John, we read that the scribes and Pharisees, men who pridefullykept the law but who had no forgiveness, decided to use the Law to trap Jesus into condemning a woman. And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, they say unto him, Master, this womanwas taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? John 8:3-5. The law did allow stoning in such a situation, but it also required that the man also be stoned. Where was he? These menonly wanted Jesus to condemn the woman. Instead of condemnation, this woman found grace and mercy. Jesus showed love, compassion, and forgiveness. Jesus ignored her accusers, but they kept after Him to judge her. So when they continued asking him, he liftedup himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. John 8:7. Right at that moment the woman was probably the most thankful person on earthher life had been spared. Jesus then stooped down and wrote on theground, ignoring the accusations. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. John 8:9. Those who accusedher were convicted of their own sins. When we act like the Pharisees, wanting to condemn someone, we need to look at our own unrighteousness. When we are praying for mercy and forgiveness from Jesus for our sin, we need to see how Jesus spoke to the woman.Did Jesus say her sin was acceptable and pat her on the back and say Keep doing what youre doing? Absolutely not. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers: hath no man condemnedthee? She said No man, Lord, And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. John 8:10-11. Jesus showed grace and mercy that day, but He didnt tell that woman to go ahead and keep sinning. He told her she wasnt condemned but tostop her prostitution. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Romans 6:1-2. Weve all been forgiven sins that are worthy of condemnation and death, but Jesus has forgiven us. Now we must go, and sin no more. It's easy for us to sin. Like the forgiven prostitute, we have received grace and mercy from the Lord, but do we submit to Christ, the Master who has forgiven us, or dowe submit to sin, which is of Satan? Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or obedience unto righteousness? Romans 6:16. Our problem is that we dont stop sinning. We cannot work to earn our salvation and only a righteous person can stand before God without condemnation. The law was unable to impart righteousness. Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which couldhave given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. Galatians 3:21. If we cant earn our salvation and the law cant bring salvation, how can we ever hope for eternal life. Righteousness is only through faith in Jesus Christ. Although salvation is a free gift, it isnt a cheap gift. It cost Jesus everything. No ritual, no works, no law is able to do what Christ did. He stepped out of Glory andinto this sin infested world. He left the worship of angels and complete oneness with God the Father, to enter His creation. He became human to save humans. He did this knowing full well that He would be rejected and crucified. Why would He do such a thing? He did it because He loves you and me. What a wonderful blessing to know that the Creator of the universe loves us. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of Godwhich is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all the upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: whom God hathset forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; to declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier ofhim which believeth in Jesus. Romans 3:21-26. Propitiation means appeasement. So faith in the shed blood of Christ, is the appeasement for our sin. We all sin, and no human being can be good enough to enter Heaven. Only by faith in the blood of Christ - His death, burial, and resurrection - can we be justified and made righteous. Not because we are so righteous, but because He is righteous. What is it you seek in life? Fame, fortune and carnal pleasures? Its not wrong to want comforts in life, but be sure you dont gain the whole world but lose your own soul. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33. Righteousness only comes through Jesus Christ. Once youve met Him, turn away from sin, and as Jesus told the prostitute, go, and sinno more. John 8:11b We cant earn our salvation, but we can thank Jesus for what He did for us by letting go of sin and drawing closer to Him. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove whatis that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2. Our righteousness is not from our own perfection, but only through Jesus. Lets start now to conform to Him, rather than the world. 10 Plagues That Our World Has Had To Deal With So Far This Summer

Paying Attention Yet? Here Are 10 Plagues That Our World Has Had To Deal With So Far This Summer- by Michael Snyder - http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/paying-attention-yet-here-are-10-plagues-that-our-world-has-had-to-deal-with-so-far-this-summer/ This is a summer that none of us will ever forget. There has been one apocalyptic disaster after another, and we haven’t even reached the halfway point yet. At the sametime that historic flooding has been absolutely devastating parts of Europe and China, unprecedented heat, drought and wildfires have been hitting portions of North and South America extremely hard. On top of all that, countless numbers of birds are suddenlydropping dead, hundreds of millions of sea creatures have been wiped out, the COVID pandemic is experiencing a major resurgence and we are starting to see famine break out in parts of Africa. What’s next? Should we be expecting a plague of grasshoppers to be unleashed soon? Actually, that has already happened, and I’ve included it in this article too. The following are 10 plagues that our world has had to deal with so far this summer… #1 Historic Flooding In Western Europe Just 10 days after record flooding killed 37 people in western Europe, Belgium was hit by a flood that was so powerful that it literally picked up vehicles and carried themalong like little toys… In Dinant, within Belgium’s Walloon region, a two-hour thunderstorm turned streets into torrential rivers. Footage on social media showed cars and pavements being sweptaway by a powerful stream of rainwater. “I have been living in Dinant for 57 years and I’ve never seen anything like this,” Richard Fournaux, the town’s former mayor, told the AP news agency. #2 Once-In-A-Thousand-Year Flooding In China Last week, more than a million people were forced from their homes by flooding in China that was so extreme that it is only supposed to happen one time in a thousand years… Starting last Tuesday, storms dropped the equivalent of one year’s worth of water on the city in a 72 hour period before moving northward, flooding large swathes of Henanprovince in China. Authorities say the rains have displaced more than a million people and at least 63 people dead in what should have been – in theory – once-in-a-thousand-year floods. #3 Countless Numbers Of Birds Are Dropping Dead This is something that I have written about before. Thousands upon thousands of birds are suddenly dropping dead in the eastern half of the United States, and authoritiesstill don’t understand why this is happening… Thousands of cases of mysteriously ill songbirds have now been reported in at least 10 Eastern and Midwestern states. Scientists from federal and state agencies and wildlifehealth centers are collaborating diligently to determine the cause, and perhaps find a treatment for what has so far proved to be an untreatable malady. Hopefully scientists will be able to figure out what is causing this, because once a bird catches the disease death can come very, very rapidly… Death seems to descend quickly once birds start showing obvious neurological symptoms, says Evans. A neighbor brought him a sick crow and “literally within minutes, it hadgone between being living and standing on the street and looking normal but acting confused, to a dead bird in a box.” Other accounts from wildlife centers tell of birds deteriorating and dying within 48 hours. #4 A Billion Dead Sea Creatures A few weeks ago, we witnessed the worst heatwave that the Northwest has ever experienced. Personally, I know how bad that it was, because I was right in the middle of it. CBS News Meteorologist Jeff Berardelli explained that there was only a “1/10,000+ chance” that a heatwave of this magnitude could happen in the region, and it ended up killingat least a billion sea creatures… More than 1 billion marine animals along Canada’s Pacific coast are likely to have died from last week’s record heatwave, experts warn, highlighting the vulnerability ofecosystems unaccustomed to extreme temperatures. The “heat dome” that settled over western Canada and the north-western US for five days pushed temperatures in communities along the coast to 40C (104F) – shattering longstandingrecords and offering little respite for days. #5 Megadrought The western half of the United States is in the midst of a multi-year “megadrought”, and 2021 has been the worst year of that “megadrought” so far by a very wide margin. As I discussed the other day, about 20 percent of the West was considered to be experiencing “severe drought” at this time in 2020, but today that number is up to 80 percent. In California, conditions have been so dry and water levels have gotten so low that the drinking water is literally starting to taste like dirt… Something is off about Sacramento’s water. It smells and tastes a little “earthy,” residents are saying — an effect of compounding climate change crises: extreme heat, littleto no precipitation and a historic drought that has gripped the region for the better part of a decade. Up and down the state of California, rivers, streams and reservoirs are drying up. In Sacramento, that has led to an increase in the concentration of geosmin in its drinkingwater, one of two organic compounds that give soil its characteristic smell. #6 A Plague Of Grasshoppers? The extremely hot and extremely dry conditions in the western half of the country have created ideal conditions for grasshoppers to multiply. Now millions of these voracious little creatures are gobbling up fields everywhere they go, and the National Weather Service is telling us that some of the grasshopper swarmsare so massive that they are actually showing up on radar… The National Weather Service (NWS) Glasgow says the radar is lighting up, but not with rain. Instead, the radar is picking up “countless” grasshoppers in the area according to a post from the NWS. The grasshoppers are flying as high as 10,000 feet above the ground and are being picked up by the radar the NWS said. #7 Crop Losses Severe drought in hitting agricultural production really hard in many parts of the globe right now. I discussed what we are witnessing in the U.S. in this article, and down in Brazil authorities are openly warning that the crop losses this year are going to be “historic”… “It is going to be a historic crop loss,” Daniele Siqueira from local consultancy Agrural told Agricensus. The second Brazilian corn crop safrinha has been severely affected by dry and warm weather during key development stages, and crop conditions worsened further in some regionsthat were hit by frosts for three days in the end of June. As a result, Agrural has lowered its estimates of Brazil’s safrinha output to 59.1 million mt in early-July, 22 million mt below the initial crop potential and the new frostscould mean these estimates are dampened even further. #8 Gigantic Wildfires Dozens of major wildfires are raging all across the West, and they just keep making headlines day after day this summer. In the last 24 hours, two major wildfires that were totally out of control in northern California ended up merging, and this has created an absolutely giant inferno thatis threatening thousands upon thousands of homes… Thousands of homes in Northern California are under threat from two wildfires that recently merged, as dozens of other fires continue to burn across the western United States. Officials say more than 10,000 homes are under threat, and evacuations have been ordered around Lake Almanor, a popular resort area, after California’s largest blaze, theDixie Fire, merged over the weekend with the Fly Fire. #9 Mammoth Dust Storms For years, I have been warning that Dust Bowl conditions would return to the western half of the country, and now it has happened. Some of the dust storms that are being created are so large they can actually be seen from space, and they can be extremely dangerous for those that are driving on our roads. For example, eight people were just killed during a series of accidents that were caused by a colossal dust storm in Utah… Eight people — four adults and four children under 15 — were killed in a multiple-vehicle crash near Kanosh on Sunday, as drivers were blinded by a sandstorm. The Utah Highway Patrol reported Monday that 10 people were taken to local hospitals Sunday after the series of crashes, which involved 22 vehicles. The dust storms in China can be even worse. In fact, the city of Dunhuang was just hit by a dust storm that was more than 300 feet tall… A Chinese city is engulfed by a gigantic wall of sand hundreds of feet high in footage straight out of a disaster movie. A video shows the city of Dunhuang vanishing between the more than 300 feet wall of sand that blew in from the Gobi Desert on Sunday. The apocalyptic scene was filmed by a resident who shared the scary clip on Twitter. #10 The Delta Variant We were dealing with COVID at this time last year too, but now the pandemic is making a major resurgence thanks to the Delta variant. Many people don’t realize this, but scientists are telling us that those that catch the Delta variant can have viral loads that are more than 1,000 times higher than thosethat had the original strain… In a preprint posted 12 July, the researchers report that virus was first detectable in people with the Delta variant four days after exposure, compared with an averageof six days among people with the original strain, suggesting that Delta replicates much faster. Individuals infected with Delta also had viral loads up to 1,260 times higher than those in people infected with the original strain. The COVID pandemic and everything associated with it has already killed millions, and now authorities are threatening us with more lockdowns and more mandates. And on top of everything else, studies continue to show that any “immunity” is very temporary. Here is another example that I came across just a little while ago… Antibodies triggered by Sinovac Biotech’s COVID-19 vaccine decline below a key threshold from around six months after a second dose for most recipients, although a thirdshot could have a strong boosting effect, according to a lab study. Chinese researchers reported the findings from a study of blood samples from healthy adults aged between 18-59 in a paper published on Sunday, which has not been peer reviewed. This is quite a list, and we still have more than half of the summer still to go. Before I end this article, there is one more thing that I wanted to mention. Famine is now erupting in parts of Africa, and things are particularly bad on the island ofMadagascar… The southern part of the island nation of Madagascar, off the east coast of Africa, is experiencing its worst drought in four decades, with the World Food Program (WFP)warning recently that 1.14 million people are food-insecure and 400,000 people are headed for famine. Hunger is already driving people to eat raw cactus, wild leaves and locusts, a food source of last resort. The WFP, which is on the ground helping with fooddistribution, describes scenes of unimaginable suffering, with families bartering everything they have—even cooking pots and spoons—for the paltry tomatoes, scrawny chickens and few bags of rice still available in the markets. So why are so many apocalyptic events suddenly happening all over the globe? Is it just a coincidence? That is what some people think. But I would suggest that it is time for all of us to start paying attention, because our world is being shaken like never before, and what we have experienced so far isjust the tip of the iceberg. For decades, we have grown accustomed to living our lives in an environment of great stability, but now everything is changing. Everything that can be shaken will be shaken, and nothing will ever be the same again. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- God's Weather Warnings Terry James - https://www.raptureready.com/category/nearing-midnight/ There is, at first glance, perhaps a paradox in our take on the matter of climate change. When I say our, I mean those of us in Bible prophecy circles who examine theclimate-change matter, which is considered by the Biden administration people to be the greatest crisis faced by mankind today. The seeming incongruity in our thought process comes by considering the following. While we believe that there is no climate change in terms of the definition given by thoseon the ideological left, we acknowledge that climate change indeed does exist. And it is becoming exponentially more manifest. Those who are in the man is destroying the planet camp proclaim all who disagree with that premise to be climate-change deniers. They vehemently declare the same about anyonewho disagrees with their dire assessments on any crisis as they delve, in full rage, into whatever problem they believe they must strive to control in their insatiable quest for ever-increasing power. For example, anyone who opposes their claims that COVID-19is the deadliest virus in modern times is a pandemic denier, and, no doubt, an anti-vaxxer. Not too many months ago, I have to admit, I was somewhat of a climate-change skeptic, to say the least. And I yet hold that, regarding those earlier times, I still cantpoint back to them and see changes in the planets weather patterns as being extreme to the point of representing changes of the profound sort. The evidence is now compounding, however. Reports from around the world of drastic weather events, especially involving flooding and at the same time droughts, continueto erase the skepticism. Some of the reports just in recent days blazed across our Rapture Ready News headlines. Ive put a few of these here to display the compiling evidence. •Europe floods: Rescuers race to find survivors as hundreds remain missing Rescue crews have been racing to find survivors of floods that have wreaked havoc across western Europe, killing more than 150 people. Hundreds are still missing after recordrainfall triggered severe floods in Germany and Belgium. Heavy rains also hit Switzerland, Luxembourg and the Netherlands where PM Mark Rutte has declared a national disaster in one southern province. •Flagstaff declares state of emergency as Arizona hit by devastating floods Parts of Arizona have been hit with devastating flooding, with the city of Flagstaff declaring a state of emergency after being inundated with torrents of water that turnedstreets into murky, fast-running streams. •Amid a mega drought, federal water shortage limits loom for the Colorado River The Colorado River is tapped out. Another dry year has left the watershed that supplies 40 million people in the Southwest parched. A prolonged 21-year warming and dryingtrend is pushing the nations two largest reservoirs to record lows. •Wither away and die: U.S. Pacific Northwest heat wave bakes wheat, fruit crops An unprecedented heat wave and ongoing drought in the U.S. Pacific Northwest is damaging white wheat coveted by Asian buyers and forcing fruit farm workers to harvest inthe middle of the night to salvage crops and avoid deadly heat. •Extreme flooding hits multiple provinces of China, capital Beijing brought to standstill Prolonged heavy rainfall affecting parts of China over the past couple of days caused extreme flooding in several provinces, including Sichuan, Hebei, Shaanxi, Henan, andShandong. Severe thunderstorms also affected the capital Beijing, bringing the entire city to a standstill. On July 12, authorities have issued an orange alert, the 2nd highest in the countrys 4-tier weather warning system. •Flash floods cause travel chaos in parts of London Heavy rain has caused flash floods in various parts of London. Cars have been submerged as roads filled with water while train services have also been cancelled. Photoson social media showed parts of south-west London including Barnes, Raynes Park and Richmond had been affected, as had areas of north London including Golders Green and Highgate. •Shandong hit by largest tornado outbreak in more than a decade, China Eastern Chinas Shandong Province was hit by its largest tornado outbreak in more than 10 years on July 11, 2021. At least 10 tornadoes were reported, with at least 3 ofthem [reported as] violent. The reports are still coming in and the number of reported tornadoes is rising. •Extremely heavy rains hit Kyushu, JMA issues years first Level 5 torrential rain alert, Japan The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) has issued its highest level rain alert for parts of Kyushu, southwestern Japan on Saturday, July 10, 2021, leading local authoritiesto instruct hundreds of thousands to take immediate safety measures. Reports of river flooding and landslides are coming in. The floods and droughts are not merely seasonal occurrences. They are indeed phenomenal weather events, and they are in unprecedented, multiple numbersoccurring almostsimultaneously in most every part of the planet. So this prophecy watcher, at least, fully recognizes that something of last-days significance is taking place almost daily. The way I and others who are likewise watchersdiffer from the leftists who claim there is climate change is they see it as man-made, while we see it as God-induced. It is a foreboding weather warning from on high. The storm thats coming is the Tribulation. The Lord, we sense, is warning of things to come by way of His judgment andwrath. He wants all to come to repentance. He wants no one to be caught in that final great, destructive storm. The rebellious, progressive mindset declares that man alone can fix the climate. They are making a globalists-elite-engendered, Mother Earth worship system to do exactlythat, they think. We know, on the other hand, that only God can either break or fix the planet He, alone, controls. The earth is the Lords, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. Whoshall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? (Psalms 24: 13) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Are Disasters and Pandemics the Judgment of God?- Jim Denison - https://www.christianheadlines.com/columnists/denison-forum/are-disasters-and-pandemics-the-judgment-of-god.html More than twenty-two thousand firefighters fought extreme fire behavior across the West yesterday as homes burned and thousands of residents fled fast-spreading flames. The largest fire in the US is continuing to grow this morning, one of eighty-eight large wildfires crews are battling throughout the country. Six new large fires were reported Saturday. California has seen a 257 percent increase in acres burned so far compared to 2020. A fire behavior analyst blames the critically dry weather for good reason: scientistssay the current drought is setting a 122-year record. Almost 90 percent of the western US is now considered to be in drought. The drought currently extends from the West Coast eastward into Minnesota and Wisconsin. Is this the judgment of God? "HEAVEN IS SHUT UP AND THERE IS NO RAIN" There is no question that God sometimes uses drought as judgment on sin. He sent a drought against Israel in the days of Elijah (1 Kings 17:1) and called for a drought on the land and the hills in the days of Haggai (Haggai 1:11). Solomon foresawa day when heaven is shut up and there is no rain because of the peoples sin (1 Kings 8:35). Jeremiah 14 depicts such judgment in stark terms: The word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah concerning the drought: Judah mourns, and her gates languish; her people lamenton the ground, and the cry of Jerusalem goes up' (vv. 12). The drought affected rich as well as poor (v. 3) and was so severe that the farmers are ashamed; they cover their heads (v. 4) and wildlife were suffering as well (vv. 56). Jeremiah responded by confessing the sins of his people and praying for divine mercy: Though our iniquities testify against us, act, O Lord, for your names sake; for ourbackslidings are many; we have sinned against you (v. 7). He acknowledged that the Lord is the one true God and thus the only one who could save them: Are there any among the false gods of the nations that can bring rain? Or canthe heavens give showers? Are you not he, O Lord our God? We set our hope on you, for you do all these things (v. 23). DEFEATING THE GODS OF EGYPT The Bible clearly teaches that God sometimes uses natural disasters to judge sin and call sinners to repentance. In such cases, however, he warns the people first throughhis prophets and other representatives, as with Moses before Pharaoh (Exodus 5-12). If they will not repent, he responds directly to their sins. For example, each of the plagues against Egypt was a direct defeat of one of Egypts pagan gods (cf. Exodus 12:12). It would be easy for me as a conservative Christian to blame the West Coast drought on the sins of some who live there. The immorality championed by some in Hollywood andthe irreligiosity of many in Washington and Oregon are well known, for example. But the drought includes Idaho, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsinstates not known for immorality or irreligiosity. Unlike the plagues of Egypt, the current drought is not the consequence of specific sins. Nor am I aware of prophetic warnings issued by the Lord before the drought began. As a result, I do not view the current drought as Gods active judgment against the western US but as a consequence of living in a fallen and broken world (Romans 8:22).We see such tragedies daily, as with the sandstorm yesterday in Utah that caused a series of car crashes, killing at least seven people, and the heavy rains that flooded subways in New York early this month. However, I am convinced that God wants to use the drought and wildfires to teach us a vitally important lesson. "NIGHT IS COMING, WHEN NO MAN CAN WORK" Early Christians lived with urgency born out of reality. Life expectancy in the Roman world was half of rates today. Christians were especially in perilmore than a milliondied for Jesus in the first three centuries of the Christian era. But their urgency was not just a product of their circumstances. They knew that salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed (Romans 13:11), remembering Jesus admonition, Night is coming, when no man can work (John 9:4). Their Master warned them, Stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming (Matthew 24:42). The disasters we have discussed today should remind us that our lives are no more certain than theirs. With all our scientific advances, we cannot stop droughts or preventwildfires. With all our medical expertise, we cannot yet end the present pandemic or forecast the next one. We may live longer on average, but none of us are guaranteed another day. However, I do not sense true urgency among many Christians in America. We may believe theologically that Jesus could return tomorrow or we could die today, but we need totranslate this belief into practice. The more urgent our faith, the more earnestly we will share the gospel, stand courageously for our Lord, and live ready to stand before him one day. SHARING JESUS IN ICU Well close today with a crucial example. Please join me in praying today for Jonathan Lotz, the son of Anne Graham Lotz and grandson of Billy Graham. Jonathan is in ICU with COVID-19; Anne asks us to pray thathe will not have to go on a ventilator and that he will be fully healed. Fifty years ago, I could hold my son in my arms, she said in a post Saturday. Now I have placed him in the arms of Jesus. Last night, she updated her Facebook page with her sons condition, noting that he sent this text earlier Sunday: I am physically exhausted yet spiritually overflowing! He added, I have had the privilege of sharing Jesus with the ER & ICU staff! What a Savior! God is so good. With whom will you share Jesus today? VISIT: PROPHECY WATCHER WEEKLY NEWS: HTTP://PROPHECY-WATCHER-WEEKLY-NEWS.BLOGSPOT.COM

Are We Reaching A Prophetic Boiling Point?

Are We Reaching A Prophetic Boiling Point? – Todd Hampson - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=4865 They say a watched pot never boils. Well I've been watching and it seems like things are beginning to heat up! It appears we are in an era when the water is not only heatingup, but the bubbles are beginning to form more rapidly than any other time in history. Consider this sampling of earlier signs of the times and how spread out they were. • In 1897, Theodore Herzl chaired the 1st Zion Congress with the goal of creating a home for the Jewish people. That was (arguably) the first concrete step toward settingthe stage for prophesied end-time events. • In 1946 Winston Churchill called for a United States of Europe. • In 1948 Israel became a nation. • In 1967 Israel miraculously won the Six Day War and gained control of Jerusalem. • In 1968 the Club of Rome was founded. • In 1991 the Gulf War turned the worlds attention once again to the Middle East. • In 1993 the European Union was created. • In 2001 the terrorist attacks on the symbols of the US military and the US economy took place. • In 2011 the "Arab Spring" led to civil war in Syria (creating the Ezekiel 38 playground for Russia, Turkey, and Iran). Take a moment to ponder the prophetic implications of these key events and how spread out they were. (By the way, I wish I had time and space in this article to unpack howeach of those connects directly with key end-time Bible prophecies.) It was about the time of the last event on the list (civil war in Syria), that I began carefully studying eschatology and the signs of the times--and felt called to do so. The 2011-2012 timeframe was prophetically significant on many levels. It seemed we had entered a new era where end-time signs were noticeably increasing. In addition tothe events listed above, there were scores of other significant events including extreme weather, the weakening of America, and the coarsening of society. It was as if the pot was beginning to bubble--but those of us who were watching the signs could stillkeep track of each bubble and take the time to analyze it in light of Scripture. Enter 2020. The events of 2020 including, Covid-19 virus was released--as was lawlessness, violence, deception, deep political corruption, and other moral evils on a broaderscale than we had ever seen or been made aware of. And this time, these signs were happening globally! It was as if we entered a "medium-boil" phase. Whereas those of us paying attention to signs that lined up with end-time conditions used to be able to identify just aboutevery significant prophetic stage-setting event fairly easily, now I literally cannot keep up! I liken it to battlefield tactics. As long as it is possible, a soldier on the field carefully notes each detail that will help him understand the coming battle. The moreintel the better. But once the battle begins to get thick, the soldier's attention has to turn to more pressing matters. The soldier must decide on what is priority in order to complete the mission. This necessarily means the soldier must decide what to focus on, even though he knows there are more key details he could assess at any given moment. The pot is beginningto boil and I can't keep track of all of the bubbles! Here are a few noteworthy details that have come to light the past few weeks that I have looked into on a cursory level, but haven't had time to research fully. The recent list includes: record-breaking wildfires, heat waves, flooding, mass animal deaths, droughts, famine, and major riots (in South Africa and Cuba to name two).Meanwhile inflation is occurring, the workforce in America can't keep up with the demand because people are being paid to stay home. People who have been fully vaccinated are still being infected with the Cover-19 virus. A video shows a school function wherea woman is saying those opposed to critical race theory should die--and the crowd applauses. The San Francisco Gay Men's Choir put out a creepy music video informing anyone who believes in traditional marriage that they are "coming for your children." A Brazilian taboo artist turns himself into a demonic lookingORC (from the Lord of the Rings Series) by tattooing his eye balls, removing his nose and implanting horns. More shows celebrating witchcraft and the occult are launching in the fall. So many in the world are ready to welcome and embrace all things demonicand evil. But wait, there's more...A company in Ireland is looking to fund the creation of a colossal moving, speaking statue known as "The Giant" in 21 cities by the end of the year. There have been 321 mass shootings already in 2021 leaving 352 people dead and 1,331 injured. Russia and China are flexing their military muscles regularly. Iran is close to having nuclear weapon capability at the same time Israel is facing major internalchallenges. Macron (surely having consulted with other European leaders who will follow suit) announced a "vaccine pass" to be implemented in order to take part in normal activities. On top of all of this, apostasy in the church is growing steadily through "wokeness," teachings by people claiming to be apostles (which is a Scriptural impossibility since they did not witness the events of Christ's ministry in the first century), and othermind-bending heresies that gut the truth of Scripture and the fundamentals of the true Christian faith. I could go on and on. This is just the tip of the iceberg! Ten years ago globalism was a conspiracy theory, the conditions needed for the Ezekiel 38 war seemed impossible, technology had not yet reached the mark-of-the-beast level, and America was sick but still fighting. In 2021 all of that has changed. We are trending toward a rapid boil and could be there at any moment. Liquids boil at different temperatures depending on the molecular structure of the liquid and the amountof air pressure (due to altitude) that is pressing down on the liquid. The air pressure restrains the boil until such a time when the pressure of the boil is greater than the air pressure restraining it. The Lord could cause the heat to be turned down and the water could cool a bit, but it doesn't seem that is the case and I don't read anything like that in Scripture. Jesussaid he would come quickly (Greek word tacos, which means rapidly/when things are revved up), and end-time birth pains (whether Braxton Hicks or the real thing) won't stop once they have begun. We are heading full speed into everything the Bible prophesies about the future tribulation period--and our generation is seeing it all unfold! By the way, if you are taking note of end-time signs and conditions you are in good company. The Old Testament prophets and even the angels have longed to understand thetimeframe we are currently in. In 1 Peter 1:10-12 we read, "Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care, trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spiritof Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of the Messiah (1st coming) and the glories that would follow (2nd coming/Millennial Kingdom). It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel toyou by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things." Notice the key details I highlighted in the verses above. The prophets longed to understand the "time and circumstances" related to the 1st and 2nd coming! In the midstof the struggle to live in our day we need to remember how blessed we are to see these things! Thankfully God's people will be removed (via the rapture) prior to God's judgment of the world (as has been the clear pattern of his activity in times past and his statedintentions at the end of the age), but that doesn't mean we won't live in dangerous times prior to the rapture. In fact, 2 Timothy 3:1-5 tells us as much. We are not left uninformed. My friends, it seems the air pressure is about to be lifted and the rapid boil is soon to begin. When the restraining influence of the Holy Spirit indwelled Church is removedvia the rapture--the preserving pressure of the salt and light will allow the world to move immediately into a rapid boil. I dare not set dates or even years, but unless the Lord intervenes in a major way (and He could, he's done it before), it seems to methat we are nearing the time of the rapture. I know several generations of believers in different eras of church history have thought the same, but never in the history of the world have there been so many signs andconditions in place as they are right now. We have a front row seat to prophecy and end-time conditions. Let's rise to the occasion, wake the Bride, and reach the lost! And let's keep in mind only God knows the day or hour so we must keep courageously planningas we continue to watch for His return. If you are reading this article and have never accepted the gift of salvation offered and paid for by Jesus Christ--please do so now! Noah seemed crazy until the rain started. But soon, the world was covered by violent water like a massive boiling pot. Please don't ignore the conditions that are screaming at us that the Lord is real, that time is short, that judgment is coming, and that Jesus paid it all. Please come tohim now! You too can have hope, clarity, and joy in the midst of these increasingly disruptive world conditions. He promises to never leave us. Matthew 28:20--"Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Luke 21:28--"When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." 12 Foods To Keep In Your Car At All Times

12 Foods To Keep In Your Car At All Times Keeping food in your car can also help out with a number of other emergency and semi-emergency situations, such as low blood sugar, heat exhaustion and just low energy. Soit really makes sense to keep food in the car, even if you’re not thinking bug out or getting stranded. Now the only question is, what to keep? Here are the types of things I find useful to keep in mine. WATER I always start out by putting a couple of gallons of water in the car. I know some people prefer to use bottles, but I find that I can carry more waterin less space, if I use gallons. If I need to drink that water, I can easily pour it into water bottles; but if I need to use it for the car, gallons are more convenient. The water bottle in this picture is aluminum. Ialways use metal water bottles, because they can be put in the fire. So, I can use this water bottle to purify water, to heat up water for coffee and to heat up water for soup. That’s a whole lot better than using a plastic water bottle and needing to havesomething extra for heating up water. GATORADE POWDER I live in a hot part of the country, so it’s not unusual to overheat and become dehydrated from sweating too much. Many people deal with that hereby drinking copious amounts of Gatorade. Carrying liquid Gatorade in bottles is one option, but it takes up space. Since I’m carrying water anyway, I tend to carry the powdered Gatorade, rather than the bottles. JERKY My favorite snack food is jerky. Nutritious, low calorie and it is meat; what more could you ask for? The American Indians made jerky as survival food andour early ancestors learned that from them. While there are other places in the world which make something similar, our jerky tradition goes back to those early Indians. Jerkyalso provides you with something that you can make a meal out of. Mix it with Ramen noodles and come dried veggies and you’ve got a fairly decent soup; something that can keep you going and warm you up on a cold night. Justremember that you will need to replace your jerky periodically, if you don’t eat it. Heat will draw the oils out of it, drying it even farther. RAMEN & DRIED VEGETABLES Good old Ramen is the college staple. I think every college student goes through a time when they live off of it. It’s a great source of carbohydratesto give you energy to keep you going. Mix it with some cut up jerky and some dehydrated vegetables and you can have a much heartier soup. DRY FRUIT Speaking of carbohydrates, fruit is another excellent source for them. If you have someone with low blood sugar, giving them fruit is much safer thangiving them a candy bar. The natural fructose sugar is much easier for the body to digest and won’t shock their system like candy will. Dried fruit also provides you with something that’s easy to take along, if you haveto leave your car for any reason; whether due to emergency, taking a hike or for work. A bag of dried fruit in your pocket can keep away hunger pains for the whole afternoon. CANNED FRUIT Canned fruit, like dried fruit, is a great source of carbohydrates and sugar. Some people prefer it. I wouldn’t want to carry this around in a backpack, due to the extra weight; but last I checked, that much weight isn’t going to bother anyone’s car. These mandarin oranges and applesauce are “canned” in plastic cups, with foil lids. That works well for short-term canning;but not for long-term. Canned fruit can be much more refreshing than dried when you need something to eat. GRANOLA BARS I’m almost as big a fan of granola bars for emergency food as I am of jerky. It’s worth spending the money to buy the better brands, even though theyare considerably more expensive. But the amount of nutrition you get from those better brands makes them worth the money. Granola bars are great, in that they are an ideal pick-me-up sort of snack, packing a lot of carbohydratesinto a small amount of food. Watch out for the ones with chocolate or yoghurt, as those ingredients can melt, making a mess for you to deal with. NUTS & SUNFLOWER SEEDS Nuts are a good source of both fats and protein. Of all the nutrients we eat, protein is one of the most important, as the body can’t really synthesizeit well, without having consumed proteins to break down into amino acids. Fats digest slower than carbohydrates, providing you with long-term energy to burn. Eating a combination of fats and carbohydrates together will keep you going for hours. I always keep sunflower seeds on hand, as well. Like nuts, they provide you with protein and fats, but they also do something else; they help keepyou awake. If you’re driving long distances, especially at night, eating sunflower seeds while you are driving will keep you active! HARD CANDIES & GUM These might be a bit surprising, but I have good reason for keeping them in my car. First of all, hard candies are great for that quick burst of sugar, when you need some energy. They’re a whole lot safer to eat than taking energy drinks too. Peppermint is also useful for settling an upset stomach or relieving pain. Peppermint essential oil is one of the best ways torelieve headaches there is. So if you’re in pain, have a headache or have indigestion, mints are nice to have. The gum isn’t as much for use as candy, as it is for relieving the pressure in your ears, when changing altitudequickly. If you’ve spent any time traveling by air or in the mountains, you’re familiar with the need to pop your ears every once in a while. Chewing gum helps with that. It can also help to keep you awake while driving at night, just like the sunflower seeds. BREAKFAST CEREAL This is for the kiddies. If you have small children, breakfast cereals, especially sweet breakfast cereals are one of the easiest ways of quietingthem down, when they are hungry. Not only do they like the taste, but they like eating the cereal out of these cool little containers. Yeah, you can put it in baggies too; but for the price, these are worth it. DORITOS Many people have touted Doritos as a fire starter. Actually, what they are is a good tinder for a fire. The combinationof the dried corn and the oils they are cooked in, make the chips burn well. You can even ignite the with a spark, let alone using a flame to get them going. If you don’t need them for a fire, I suppose you can alwayseat them. Doritos, like any other chips, are a good source of carbohydrates. Being made of corn, rather than potato, they probably digest a little slower; so they’ll help you feel full longer, than if you were just eatingpotato chips. SPICES This is another one that you might think is a bit strange; but there is good reason for it. Whether you’re in an actual survival situation or you’re just stranded somewhere, there’s a goodchance that you’ll end up eating things that you might otherwise not want to eat. But when you’re hungry, you go for what’s available, right?Rather, bring some spices with you, sothat you can make it more appealing. It’s amazing what you can do with just a few spices, especially if they are stronger flavors that you like. HTTP://PROPHECY-WATCHER-WEEKLY-NEWS.BLOGSPOT.COM

America in the Crosshairs

America in the Crosshairs – Jonathan Brentner - https://www.jonathanbrentner.com/https/jonathan-brentner-g8fgsquarespacecom/config/2021/7/27/america-in-the-crosshairs If I did not believe in the Rapture and the following seven-year tribulation, that would not deter me from anticipating God’s judgment on America at some point in the nearfuture. Because Scripture teaches Jesus’ imminent appearing followed by the wrath of the day of the Lord, I am all the more certain that the U.S. now rests in God’s crosshairs. After reviewing a chapter in her husband’s book on the evil in America at the time, Ruth Graham replied, “Billy, if God doesn't come soon and bring judgment upon the UnitedStates, He's going to have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah!" Wickedness in the U.S. has grown exponentially in the decades since then. The words Job spoke long ago still ring true today and certainly apply to God’s sovereignty over all nations: He makes nations great, and he destroys them; he enlarges nations, and leads them away. (Job 12:23) With these things in mind, let’s look at a couple Old Testament passages regarding ancient Judah that we can apply to the U.S. and other nations across the globe as well. SIGNS THAT GOD’S JUDGMENT HAS ALREADY BEGUN Has the Lord already begun to take action against the U.S.? Yes, I believe He has. One passage that speaks to me in this regard is Isaiah 3:4-5, a passage of warning to ancient Judah and Jerusalem: And I will make boys their princes, / and infants shall rule over them. / And the people will oppress one another, / everyone his fellow / and every one his neighbor; /the youth will be insolent to the elder, / and the despised to the honorable. Let’s examine how these verses might apply to the United States. 1. IMMATURE LEADERSHIP The Hebrew word for “boys” in Isaiah 3:4 suggests a young lad or perhaps a servant. In this context, it denotes an immaturity of leadership that the Lord said would characterizethose in charge of Judah ahead of His judgment falling on the nation. One could translate “infants” in verse 4 as “malicious young men,” or even tyrants. This signifies the inexperience of a child or babe who rules by selfish inclinationsor perhaps the whim of the moment. Its usage includes the evil motives of those in positions of authority. These words aptly characterize those in charge of the United States at the present moment. President Biden’s dementia makes him appear childish as he stumbles through sentencesthat make no sense whatsoever, expresses fear of disappointing those who control him, and behaves in a bizarre manner (or talks about it). Other nations recognize his diminished mental capacity. Vice President Harris lacks any semblance of maturity; it wouldbe an unmitigated disaster should she become president. The executive orders that have come from the White House since Biden took office reflect an evil and totally unbiblical world view. In many ways they reflect the “malicious” intent that the Lord said would characterize the immature leaders of Judah as His judgment drew near. 2. DIVISION The picture in Isaiah 3:5 is that of a land where people fight against and oppress each other with the youth acting with brazen disrespect toward the older generation. Itgoes without saying that this describes America today. Just as with ancient Judah, I see this as an indication that the Lord’s judgment has begun. Jesus said, “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand (Matthew 12:25). Does not this principle apply tosuch a splintered nation as we see in the United States? So many of those in high elected offices seem intent on using division as a means of destroying America. The “perilous times” that the apostle Paul describes in 1 Timothy 3:1-5 denote selfish arrogant people living for themselves with no regard for others. The results of thesetraits automatically lead to much strife and disharmony, which sadly characterizes life both inside and outside the church today. WICKED BEHAVIOR THAT GOD WILL NOT ALLOW TO CONTINUE In addition to the indicators that the Lord’s judgment on the United States has already begun, we also see evil behavior about which the Bible warns God will absolutelynot allow to continue without at some point intervening to stop. Habakkuk is a book that speaks to us today. The prophet’s complaint in Habakkuk 1:2-4 provides us with a list of items that possess a remarkable similarity to life in theUnited States. O Lord, how long shall I cry for help, / and you will not hear? / Or cry to you “Violence!” / and you will not save? / Why do you make me see iniquity, / and why do youidly look at wrong? / Destruction and violence are before me; / strife and contention arise. / So the law is paralyzed, / and justice never goes forth. / For the wicked surround the righteous; / so justice goes forth perverted. Let’s examine how these things fit with our world. 1. VIOLENCE In America, we now have the most pro-abortion administration in our history. The horrors of the senseless murder of our most vulnerable grieve my heart. Will not the Lordhold our nation accountable as we continue to elect Congressman and Senators who not only actively promote abortion, but also refuse to outlaw infanticide for babies who survive the horrors of abortion? He absolutely will. The carnage in America extends far beyond the river of blood that flows from our abortion death mills. The violence propagated against children via sex trafficking is mindboggling, it’s horrific! The Lord will surely judge all those involved in this abomination, which the Biden administration has made far worse with their open border policy. 2. DESTRUCTION AND VIOLENCE Habakkuk reemphasized the “destruction and violence” that confronted him in ancient Judah. In America, I see far more violence than that of the murder of the unborn or that propagated against our children in sex trafficking. The destruction and bloodshed in ourmajor cities increase by the day. A few weeks ago in Chicago, thugs pulled a Hispanic couple from a car and shot them. Law and order have all but vanished from our major cities. Murder rates in large cities in the U.S. have skyrocketed due to efforts to defundour police, which have been propagated solely by the Democratic party. 3. INIQUITY The prophet Habakkuk also complained that the Lord caused him to see much wickedness with apparently no action to end it (v. 3). Why did He seemingly look the other way? As for America in the twenty-first century, this almost needs no comment. I never thought I would see so much evil behavior and lawlessness before the rapture. The influenceof the LBGTQ agenda on our children is beyond despicable. It begs this question: Why do we as a nation continue to elect men and women who wholly support the wicked agenda of the LBGTQ and openly promote transgenderism for seven-year-old children? Behavior that would have outraged the majority of Americans sixty years ago has now become commonplace and accepted by many as normal. We see the words of Romans 1:18-32springing to life. As God gives the wicked over to increased forms of depravity, many have reached the end that Paul talks about in verse 32, “Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do thembut give approval to those who practice them.” This is life among so many in the U.S. today. 4. INJUSTICE The words of Habakkuk 1:4 perfectly portray life in the U.S., “So the law is paralyzed, / and justice never goes forth. / For the wicked surround the righteous; / so justicegoes forth perverted.” Although these words speak to conditions in ancient Judah, it’s as if the prophet was depicting life in the twenty-first century. Due to the fact that thefts under $950 are no longer prosecuted in San Francisco, California, looting has become commonplace. Stores in the city no longer report stealingto the police and store clerks do not dare risk their lives to stop it. Many retailers are going out of business or closing shop as of the widespread stealing. Target recently reported that they are closing all stores in the area at 6 p.m. as a result. In America, many of the guilty are set free or never charged for their crimes. On the other hand, people lose their jobs or face lawsuits for defending what the Bible saysabout marriage and sexuality. The rich and powerful never face the consequences for their criminal behavior for which less influential people spend years in jail for crimes that the elite commit with not repercussions. THE SEVEN-YEAR TRIBULATION IS AT OUR DOORSTEP The Lord’s response to what He sees in the U.S. would most likely be quite similar to what he told Habakkuk. Then, God assured His prophet that He indeed saw the wickednessand bloodshed and that judgment was already on the way in the form of the Chaldeans (the Babylonians) who would later destroy Jerusalem and the temple. This occurred a decade or two later, perhaps while the prophet was still alive. Skipping ahead to the twenty-first century, the Lord indeed sees the bloodshed, deception, oppression, and vileness rampant in the U.S. And I believe He will intervene muchsooner than most imagine; His answer is already on the way. He will not let wickedness of our day continue unchecked. Scripture assures us that God will someday pour out His wrath on sinful humanity in what it refers to as the day of the Lord. The book of Revelation adds more detail tothis time in what we refer to as the tribulation, a seven-year time of horror upon the earth. The New Testament assures believers, however, that the Lord will take us home to heaven before the start of this time of wrath upon the earth. In 1 Thessalonians 1:10 and5:9-10, the apostle Paul confirms that Jesus will come for His Church before the onset of the terrible day of the Lord (see Isaiah 13:9-13; 24:3-20), which includes all of the tribulation period. How much longer will the Lord’s patience endure in view of the senseless bloodshed and exceeding wickedness that grows worse by the day? How much more distress will we seebefore our departure from this world? I do not know the answer to these questions. I am certain, however, that judgment is coming. Evil people might enjoy success for a little while longer, but God will have the final word (Psalm 37:7-15). He always does. Please know as believers, our hope rests in Jesus’ imminent appearing (Titus 2:11-14; John 14:1-3). As we see God’s judgment start to fall on the nations of the world, werest in His promise to deliver us before He pours out His wrath on the Christ-rejecting world (1 Thessalonians 5:9-10). It would be very wrong to set a date for the Rapture, but one would be equally mistaken to assume that it will not happen in the very near future. Warnings: We are watching the development of events that were prophesied 2,000-2,500 years ago.

Warnings - By Daymond Duck - https://www.raptureready.com/2021/07/25/warnings-by-daymond-duck/ God always warned the Jews before His judgments fell. We are watching the development of events that were prophesied 2,000-2,500 years ago. Some prophecy teachers believe these developing events are warnings that His judgment will soon fall. Here are some examples: One, concerning world government, censorship, etc.: in his July2021 Newsletter, author and prophecy teacher Britt Gillette wrote, “So what does the Bible say about all of this? The Bible says a time is coming when a global dictator will rule the world (Revelation 13:7). He will succeed in everything he does (Daniel 8:24).His power will be so great, no one will be able to oppose him (Revelation 13:4). His control over the earth will be so complete, he’ll regulate the purchase and sale of everything (Revelation 13:17). For most of human history, this was impossible. As thisis written, it’s probably still impossible. But that window of impossibility is closing fast. Two, concerning the New World Order (world government): on July9, 2021, Brad Hazzard, Minister for Health and Medical Research at New South Wales, Australia, said, “This (Covid) is a world pandemic… We’ve got to accept that this is the New World Order.” Hazzard saying this does not make it so, but the implications of a prominent Australian politician saying Covid is the beginning of world government should not be overlooked. Daniel declared 2,500 years ago that there will be a world government at the time of the end (Dan. 7:23). Three, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on July 11, 2021,i24NEWS reported that Israel’s leaders believe negotiations between Iran and the U.S. over Iran’s nuclear program may break down, and the Israeli military has requested funding equivalent to billions of dollars in the Israeli military budget to prepare fora possible attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities (Ezek. 38-39). An Israeli attack on Iran would not be the Battle of Gog and Magog, but it could easily trigger the Battle of Gog and Magog, and it would be a clear sign that the latteryears and latter days have arrived (Ezek. 38:8, 16). Some prophecy teachers, not all, speculate that the Rapture and the Battle of Gog and Magog occur close to each other on God’s timeclock. Update: On July 15, 2021, it was reported that the requestedfunding has been put on hold (not rejected). Four, concerning the Days of Noah (wickedness, corruption, andviolence; Gen. 6:5, 11-12): on July 14, 2021, The Washington Times reported that “at least 150 (police) officers nationwide have been shot this year as of June 30, 51 of whom were shot in ambush-style attacks, which are up 91% compared to the same time lastyear.” Hundreds of police in the U.S. have retired, resigned, or requested a transfer. Defunding, demonizing, and attacking the police is harming, not improving life in black communities. Five, concerning corruption: on July 15, 2021, in Maricopa County,Arizona, it was reported that the vote recount found that: •74,243 mail-in ballots were counted, but there is no record that those ballots were sent to voters. •25,000 ballots were duplicates of other ballots (it sounds like someone used a copier and these ballots did not have serial numbers). •3,981 voters registered after the cut-off date and should not have been allowed to vote. •There were problems with tens of thousands of other ballots (ballots were on wrong kind of paper, etc.). •18,000 names were removed from the voter rolls after the election. If they were ineligible to vote, why were they not removed before the election? •The Board of Elections and Dominion Voting Systems Co. refuse to release the passwords so the voting machines can be inspected. •The number of votes cast and the number of votes reported are different. •Biden supposedly won the election by 10,457 votes. Update: On July 16, 2021, it was reported that the Arizona statesenate has ordered the votes counted by independent voting machines other than Dominion. Update: On July 20, 2021, it was reported that preliminary resultsshow that there were enough fraudulent votes in Maricopa County alone to overturn Joe Biden’s victory. Six, concerning corruption: on July 15, 2021, in Fulton County,Georgia, it was reported that the VoterGA audit group can now prove that the election in Fulton County was riddled with errors or fraud. The audit of this one county in Georgia found that: •The votes on 923 of 1,539 mail-in ballots (60% of the votes) were incorrectly counted. •36 batches of mail-in ballots contained 4,255 extra votes (3,390 extra votes for Biden, 865 extra votes for Trump, and 43 extra votes for Jorgenson). •7 falsified audit tally sheets with fabricated vote totals (100% of the fabricated vote totals went to Biden). •There were other errors the Fulton County election commission has known about for months, but they have chosen to ignore or cover them up. Update: On July 15, 2021, Georgia Sec. of State, Brad Raffensberger, called for the two top Fulton County election officials to be fired for mishandling and failing to properly supervise the election, but Democrats on the committee oppose their firing. Seven, concerning corruption in the U.S. Dept. of Justice: onJuly 21, 2021, it was reported that a federal prosecutor paused the investigation of Hunter Biden before the election to protect Joe. Some say the prosecutor just delayed the investigation until the election was over, but the election has been over for several months, so why isn’t Hunter being prosecuted? Eight, concerning tracking everyone: it has been reported that: •On July 6, 2021, Pres. Biden announced his “community by community,” “neighborhood-by-neighborhood,” “door-to-door” effort to vaccinate America’sunvaccinated citizens. •On July 15, 2021, it was reported that Biden and the Democrat National Committee will be working with cellphone companies to monitor text messagesto silence critics of the government (if they do not have a warrant, monitoring citizen’s text messages is unconstitutional). •On July 15, 2021, White House spokesperson Jan Psaki admitted that the federal government is working with Facebook to censor “misinformation.” (Theproblem is that some “misinformation” appears to be coming from the CDC, FDA, NIH, and WHO, and these groups want to censor the truth. The suppression of free speech means the destruction of free speech, and that is unconstitutional.) •On July 19, 2021, a lawsuit was filed on behalf of a group called “America’s Frontline Doctors” in an Alabama Federal Court alleging that the U.S.government is involved in a massive coverup of vaccine-related deaths. The group’s attorney said YouTube (Google), Facebook and Twitter are also involved in the coverup. Nine, concerning the Covid Pandemic: on July 19, 2021, it wasreported that about 47 % of the new Covid cases in the UK are people that have already been vaccinated. If true, mandatory vaccinations will not stop the spread of Covid, but they will cause many people to have adverse reactions (get sick or die) from the contaminants thatare injected into their body. More: It has been widely reported that a group of Texas Democratsflew out of Texas to avoid voting on a voting reform bill, six of them had been fully vaccinated but they got Covid-19, and the White House has confirmed that they met with a fully vaccinated senior member of Nancy Pelosi’s staff who has now tested positivefor Covid-19. Ten, on July 19, 2021, on the American Family Radio programcalled “Sandy Rios in the Morning,” Sandy discussed the fact that she and her husband came down with Covid-19, were treated with Ivermectin, and they recovered. https://afr.net/podcasts/sandy-rios-in-the-morning/2021/july/white-house-is-working-with-social-media-to-stop-misinformation-matt-braynard-discusses-rallies-for-january-6th-prisoners-and-kelli-ward-discusses-arizona-audit-and-happenings/ Several studies show that the safe, inexpensive and widely used drug Ivermectin will save lives, even the lives of Covid-19 patients, but big pharma and others want to forcepeople to be vaccinated with something else at the risk of their lives. Be warned, there is more than one kind of judgment, and pay day is coming. Finally, are you Rapture Ready? If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believethat Jesus is the virgin born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this. duck_daymond@yahoo.com VISIT: PROPHECY WATCHER WEEKLY NEWS: HTTP://PROPHECY-WATCHER-WEEKLY-NEWS.BLOGSPOT.COM

All Your Days

All Your Days by Anna Kuta “Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be” (Psalm 139:16). Last month, my family was saddened to hear the news of a friend who suffered an untimely and tragic death. A believer in Christ, he had struggled with dementia for years. At the funeral, the pastor read this verse from the Psalms: “Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be” (Psalm 139:16). What a comforting and peaceful reminder that is – that there is nothing we can do to lengthen or shorten our days. How especially powerful those words are for anyone who has lost a loved one “too young.” Before you were born, God already knew the number of days you would live on this earth. How incredible is that thought? Though circumstances and their timing don’t always make sense, we can trust that God, in his eternal wisdom, has written in His book agrand master plan. As He reminds us in Isaiah 55:8-9: “’For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are yourways My ways,’ says the LORD. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.” No death is a surprise to God, nor is any death out of the control of His will. Though none of us know in advance how long we will live, we do know that the Lord is with us from the moment of conception until our last breath – and then for all eternity forthose who have put their trust in Him as Savior. Let us never doubt the significance and impact of any life – no matter how short – for God has ordained all of our days for His purpose. Intersecting Faith & Life: Take a minute to consider the words of Psalm 139:16 – a testament to the holy power and omniscience of God. Though life and death is a mystery to us, it isn’t to God. Let us all strive to serve and live for Him today and every day, so whether we meet the Lord tomorrow or in 50 years, we willbe ready when our time comes. PROPHECY UPDATE: 7.31.21 - Manufacturing of Unique Red Dye for Third Temple Begins

Manufacturing of Unique Red Dye for Third Temple Begins – AdamEliyahu Berkowitz - https://www.israel365news.com/195266/manufacturing-of-unique-red-dye-for-third-temple-begins/ “Come, let us reach an understanding, —says Hashem. Be your sins like crimson, They can turn snow-white; Be they red as dyed wool, They can become like fleece.” Isaiah 1:18(The Israel BibleTM) On Sunday, a woman went out to collect tiny insects that once a year, produce the flame-colored dye that was used in the Temple. The time-consuming work produced a minuscule amount of dye but she is determined to continue moving forward towards bringing the Third Temple. CRIMSON WOOL Bringing back the Temple service requires attention to the multitude of details described in the Bible. תּוֹלַעַת שָׁ ִי (Tola’at shani) is usually translated as crimsonwool but the actual term refers to the worm which is the source of the dye used for the Temple curtain, as well as the garments of the High Priest: As for the Mishkan, make it of ten strips of cloth; make these of fine twisted linen, of blue, purple, and crimson yarns, with a design of cherubim worked into them. Exodus26:1 The ephod was made of gold, blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and fine twisted linen. Exodus 39:2 It was an essential element as Tola’at shani is mentioned 25 times throughout the sections of the Torah dealing with the Tabernacle. It was used to dye the wool for thetapestries of the Mishkan, the the sash worn by the regular Kohen and several of the garments specific to the Kohen Gadol. It was also was added to the ashes of the red heifer and for purifying lepers: and the Kohen shall take cedar wood, hyssop, and crimson stuff, and throw them into the fire consuming the cow. Numbers 19:6 A skein of crimson wool dyed in shani featured in the culmination of the Yom Kippur Temple Service. A skein was wrapped around the horns of the goat sent to azazel. Theskein of scarlet wool was removed from the goat’s horns and tied to a nearby rock and thrown from a cliff. The cliff was so sheer that the goat tumbled and torn to pieces from the fall. If Israel’s sins were forgiven by this act of contrition, the crimsonthread would miraculously turn white as would the thread on the Temple doors. This aspect of the Yom Kippur service was hinted at by the Prophet Isaiah. “Come, let us reach an understanding, —says Hashem. Be your sins like crimson, They can turn snow-white; Be they red as dyed wool, They can become like fleece.” Isaiah 1:18 In rabbinic literature, the dye is referred to as zehorit, which was extracted from the body of the “crimson worm” (carmine), the Kermes biblicus. In Israel, this worm canbe found on the branches of the oak Quercus ithaburensis. In the early spring, when the females filled with red eggs and became pea-shaped, the dye was squeezed out of them. ORANGE OR RED? In 2002, Dr. Zohar Amar of bar Ilan University claimed to have verified the specific insect referred to in the Bible and even extracted some dye. He concluded that the colorproduced was orange, rather than red. “We checked many historical sources, the most important of which is Josephus, who was the last one to describe and document the existence of the ‘shani’ in the Temple,” Dr, Amar said. “Josephus describes the color as symbolizing fire, which is orange – as opposed to the red that many think it is. Our production process also produced orange.” ORNA HIRSHBERG: “MY PERSONAL CONNECTION TO THE TEMPLE” Orna Hirshberg, a resident of Itamar in Samaria, has dedicated herself to bringing back this necessary component of the Temple as part of the Temple-related work that isspecific to women. “I basically work alone and see this as my personal connection to the Temple,” Hirshberg told Israel365 News. “Every person has their special connection but the purposeof the Temple is to bring all of mankind together to serve Hashem (God). The work itself should bring us together. I consult with the Temple Institute and the rabbis who study the sources in depth. Even so, it is one thing to learn how about the theory ofthe Temple and something else entirely to learn practically how to create it.” This is the time of year that Hirshberg goes out to harvest the insect which are found on oak trees. She boils the insects along with the threads which absorb the color leeched from the insects. She then soaks the threads in vinegar in preparation for use. The process istime consuming and difficult. The insects are difficult toi see and produce a small quantity of dye but Hirshberg is optimistic. “We went out yesterday and all of us together gathered five grams, a tiny amount,” Hirshberg said. “I think one day we will wake up and there will be suddenly one day, ahuge amount of the insects that produce a large amount of dye,” she told Israel365 News. “That will be a sign that the Third Temple is about to be built.” She is currently working on embroidering garments for the Kohanim and producing the wool for the Red Heifer. She has woven a curtain for the Temple as a model to teach andinspire. In addition, making the curtain taught her a great deal about making the actual curtain. “I am funding all of this myself,” she said. “To actually create these things for the Temple would be too much work and too much money for one person to take on themselves. But I pledged that my work with weaving and embroidery would be sanctified and not used for unholy objects. So this is what I do.” Orna’s workcan be seen on her website. ------------------------------------------------- VISIT: PROPHECY WATCHER WEEKLY NEWS: HTTP://PROPHECY-WATCHER-WEEKLY-NEWS.BLOGSPOT.COM

Assault on the Bible

Assault on the Bible - by Hal Lindsey - https://www.hallindsey.com/ww-7-25-2021/ Satan almost never attacks vague spirituality. He’s comfortable with people who have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof. What scares him are Bible-believingChristians. He fights them claw and tooth. He centers his attacks on God’s word and the people who live by that word. His ultimate enemy is God, but he can’t fight God directly. God is Almighty. He spoke the universe into existence, including the angel then known as Lucifer. Sure, the devilis powerful, but his power is infinitely less than God’s power. He can’t win a fistfight with the Almighty God. So, he attacks in more subtle ways. He attacks God’s word. More specifically, he attacks belief in God’s word. Imagine two enemy armies on either side of a chasm. The weaker army wants to keep the larger, more powerful one out of its present territory. Across the chasm between thetwo sides, there stands a bridge. Where does the lesser army focus its fire? On the bridge — on the thing which will allow the vastly superior army to move across the chasm. Why would the devil attack the Bible? Because the word of God bridges the gap between the mind of God and the mind of man. Through it, God’s thoughts flow to human minds.Satan cannot destroy the bridge, but he wants to convince us that we cannot trust the bridge. The first words from Satan recorded in the Bible form the question that has been at the heart of his attack on humanity ever since. “Has God said?” We find it in Genesis 3:1. “Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, ‘Indeed, has God said, “Youshall not eat from any tree of the garden”?’” Revelation 12:9 and Revelation 20:2 identify the “serpent” with Satan. 2 Corinthians 11:3 says, “But I am afraid, lest as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, yourminds should be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.” To be sure, Satan can use means other than subtlety when attempting to beguile people. 1 Peter 5:8 compares him to a roaring lion. It says, “Be of sober spirit, be on thealert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” But whether he’s roaring like a lion or subtle like a snake, Satan lies. In fact, he’s the father of lies. In John 8:44, Jesus said, “You are of your father the devil, andyou want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature; for he is a liar, and the father of lies.” The ultimate temptation is to disbelieve what God has said. Yet nothing is more trustworthy than God’s word. Titus 1:2 says that God “cannot lie.” His word, according to2 Timothy 2:15 is “the word of truth.” Jesus said in Luke 21:33, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.” That means His words are more reliable than the ground you walk on or the sun shining in the sky. Trust Him. Don’t just be a believer in a vague spirit in the sky, believethe actual words of the Living God. VISIT: PROPHECY WATCHER WEEKLY NEWS: HTTP://PROPHECY-WATCHER-WEEKLY-NEWS.BLOGSPOT.COM

Coveting and the Roots of Sin

Coveting and the Roots of Sin Watching toddlers play together in a room full of toys can be instructive. For a short while, the children check out the toys strewn about the room, noting the bright colors, touching them, putting them in their mouths, and perhaps even playing with them for a few moments. However, what usually happens is that, before long, all the kids gravitate toward a particular toy that one of them has claimed as his own. The dozens of other toys in the room fade to gray blobs while the toddlers whine and cry and fight over their newly minted Holy Grail of toys. Sadly, the scenario is not much different among adults. Like babies, we want to own what we think is popular or rare or unattainable. This urge to possess things we value never shuts off. Some learn to play by the rules of private property, gaining the things they desire through ethical and legal means. Others flout the rules and take by any means what their hearts desire. Wanting to possess things is not wrong; God built that feature into us. Despite owning everything, God Himself wants something He does not have: children like Him. It is what His whole plan is ultimately all about! He has an earnest desire to give us peace, joy, prosperity, equitable governance, and many other good things. We can have similar desires for ourselves and our families. In its most basic form, desire is not sinful. The problem with desire is that, under the influence of human nature inspired by both the selfishness of the flesh and the anti-God hostility of Satan's world, it soon morphs into lust or inordinate desire. This common tendency among human beings provokes God's ban in the tenth commandment: "You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's" (Exodus 20:17; Deuteronomy 5:21). God uses the Hebrew word chāmad (Strong's #2530) to express this very human act. Chāmad means "to desire earnestly" or "to long after," which is in essence what the English word covet means: "to desire what belongs to another inordinately or culpably." In this commandment, God forbids setting our desire on something that another person already owns or something we cannot legally acquire. In the commandment itself, He prohibits lusting after another's spouse (one already legally and morally committed to another) or personal belongings. Its final phrase extends His prohibition out to all possessions of others. Like the ninth commandment, the tenth deliberately invokes community by mentioning "your neighbor's" things three times: his spouse, house, and everything he owns. As in the previous commandment, the wording implies that breaking it undermines and eventually destroys harmony among family, neighbors, and ultimately an entire nation's citizens. Like widespread lying, pervasive coveting breeds distrust and division. Because He has already prohibited stealing in the eighth commandment, God intends us to understand His command against coveting focuses on the internal attitude—the intense desire to possess a forbidden thing—rather than the physical act of taking it for oneself. It is the unseen, inner wickedness in us that first sows the seed of societal breakdown. This internality of sin finds an echo in what Jesus teaches in Mark 7:21-22: For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man. The final commandment, then, confirms that God has not just forbidden external acts but that His aim all along has been to curtail the sinful attitudes that spawn the damaging words and actions that divide and destroy marriages, families, communities, and whole nations. In effect, God ends His commandments with the causal element that breaks them all: improper desire. For this reason, the apostle Paul can write that "covetousness . . . is idolatry" (Colossians 3:5). When we obsessively desire or lust for a particular thing, we have set it up as an idol. We have placed that object or person higher than our relationship with the true God, breaking the first commandment. Our wrong desire to choose a god of our own making breaks the second. We violate the third commandment when we desire to bear God's name our way instead of the way He instructs us in His Word. We defile the Sabbath day when we want to use God's time as our own. We can make the same case with each of the remaining commandments, circling back to God's injunction against covetousness, the internal sin that underlies them all. For instance, back in the mid-90s, we kept the Feast of Tabernacles in San Antonio, Texas, and one afternoon, we watched the IMAX film about the Alamo. My daughter, who had just started school, made an incisive comment that surprised us. The film showed the Mexican Army attacking the small band of Texans defending the Alamo, and she pointed out that the Mexicans were breaking God's commandments. We thought she would say they broke the sixth commandment against killing, but she said instead that they were killing the Texans because they coveted the Alamo! Her young mind grasped that their covetousness was the cause of the more visible sin of war. Two of Jesus' beatitudes present effective foils for covetousness. The first, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6), provides a righteous, legitimate desire to replace the evil desires the human heart usually pursues. If we spend our time both desiring and seeking the right ways of living before God in this world, we will displace the inordinate desires that steer us off the path toward the Kingdom of God. We need to have a similar zeal in yearning for godly things that we once had in coveting the things belonging to others. And as He promises, these godly desires will fill our needs abundantly. The second of these beatitudes, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God" (Matthew 5:8), provides the goal we must shoot for. Our covetous hearts, green with envy and black with lust, must be purified—cleansed and polished to reflect the pure nature of God. He justifies us and forgives our past sins, but we have a part to play in our purification, as the apostle John relates in I John 3:3: "And everyone who has this hope in Him [to see Christ as He is in the first resurrection] purifies himself, just as He is pure" (emphasis ours). In the sanctification process, God works with us to purify our hearts (Philippians 2:12-13) to prepare us for living eternally as He does. Not only will we literally see God at its culmination, but we will truly understand God—comprehend Him—as our hearts mirror His own. As He closes the commandments, God gets to the heart of the matter: Sin starts inside, in the mind, the heart, with iniquitous desires, and that is where we must begin to change our natures into the image of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 4:23-24; Colossians 3:10). - Richard T. Ritenbaugh
