Will the Rapture Be Today?

Will the Rapture Be Today? - Nathele Graham - twotug@embarqmail.com For some reason, the Rapture is a very controversial subject. Scripture gives many signs of it happening, but many people seem to discount it or argue about the timing. Althoughit’s a blessing from God, the Rapture isn’t for everybody. The only people who will be taken away from the final seven years of earth as we know it, are Christians. That doesn’t mean we won’t face persecution or turmoil. In fact, Jesus promised we would havetroubles in this life. “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33. Jesus just had a very serious talk with His disciples. He told them some unnerving things they could expect, but also some very comforting words. He talked of His death, andthat upset His disciples. He told them of His resurrection, which they had no way to fully understand. He told of the Comforter and how He would guide them (and us). There is a big difference between the tribulation which Jesus had described to His disciples, and the Tribulation talked about by Daniel, Jesus, and described in Revelation. God is love, and that love makes sure people have every chance to avoid trouble. Unfortunately, we tend to go against God’s will. We need to understand that the rules Godhas given us are for our own good. We bring our own troubles about by not following His directions. That’s what happened in the Garden of Eden. God gave Adam only one rule. “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayestfreely eat: but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest there of thou shalt surely die.” Genesis 2:16-17. That’s pretty clear. Then Eve chatted with the evil being, ate the fruit, and in total disobedience, Adam also joined in the sin. God’s words were true and the couple wereexpelled from the Garden and lost Paradise. Life outside the Garden was filled with turmoil. Children were born, and those children had children. Soon the population on earth had grown. The forces of evil had their own plans; they wanted to corrupt the humangenome so God’s creation could no longer have hope of salvation. Rebellious angels mated with human women and the result of this ungodly union was hybrids called Nephilim. Unredeemable evil corrupted humanity, and the entire creation was corrupted. The only way God could bring life back to the way He created it, was to send judgment. This judgment was to flood the entire world. All of creation would drown except forthose few who were obedient to God and protected in the Ark: Noah, his wife, his three sons, and their wives, as well as some animals. Prior to God’s judgment being poured out upon a corrupt and disobedient world, there was a Rapture. Noah’s great-grandfathercame to a right place with God and was removed prior to God’s judgment. “And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.” Genesis 5:24. It’s so important for all of us to obey God. Are you walking with God? Or are you living in disobedience andrebellion? There are many signs given in Scripture that we need to pay attention to. These signs tell us that the time of God’s wrath will soon be poured out again. The disciples askedJesus about the end times. It’s interesting that the signs Jesus told them to look for are very Jewish in nature. He told them “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:” Matthew 24:15-16. The Olivette Discourse is not about Christians or the Rapture but about the time of Jacob’s (Israel’s) trouble. The temple was destroyed in 70 AD so by mentioning the “abominationof desolation” standing in the temple, we know the Temple will be rebuilt. In fact, Jesus says that Daniel had spoken about this, but when Daniel gave that prophecy, the first temple had been destroyed. Today the Temple Institute has been working diligentlyand faithfully to create the items needed for Temple worship as well as training priests to perform the rituals. The fact that they have red heifers that are required for cleansing just adds to the excitement of prophecy being fulfilled. This is all amazing, and very huge signs of the fact that we are nearing the Rapture. It’s not only one or two signs, but so many are happening. In the same passage in Matthew Jesus gives some “signs” that are just things that always happen, and aren’t reallyindications of the end, but they are becoming more frequent and stronger. “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” Matthew 24:7-8. There are wars between nations and civil unrest within nations. If you follow earthquake reports, the number of earthquakes is growing as well as the magnitude. Pestilences?Remember the trouble in 2019? Famines? Food is getting expensive, hard to afford, and it’s being genetically tampered with so it isn’t food like God intended humans to ingest. There are many food allergies and behavior problems in children, and I think foodtampering plays a part in the trouble. These signs are all just the beginning. Jesus didn’t stop there. He spoke of false prophets who will deceive many. He wasn’t just talking about woke pastors, but government organizations like the UN, WEF, WHO, andothers that are deceiving the world. Jesus began this discourse by warning against deception. “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” Matthew 24:4-5. If you’ve listened to any reports out of Israel, periodically someone claims to be the Messiah. The other day, I heard an interview with a woman who claimed to be an Arcturianhybrid. Don’t be deceived, brothers and sisters; study Scripture so you know the truth. “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” Matthew 24:12. It’s the agape love that grows cold. People just don’t care about others. Mothers can kill their children in the womb without a second thought, husbands have no problem sittingon the couch doing nothing while his wife works a couple of jobs in addition to cooking, cleaning, and running the kids to activities. Then there are the people who walk into a school or a parade and start shooting people. There are any number of other cold-heartedactions that happen daily. The word “iniquity” means wickedness, contempt and violation of law. We see it every day. People violate the law of the land, but more than that God’s law is violated. Jesus talked of the signs leading to the final seven years oflife on this fallen world. All the events that will be so terrifying are falling into place today. The Gospel of Luke also records this discourse by Jesus. Luke records two major signs of the end times. “And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the daysof the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.” Luke 17:26-27. Matthew also recorded this. It’s important to study all of Scripture in order to understand. Very few pastors preach about the iniquity happening during the days of Noah. They try to say that Seth’s sons married Cain’s daughters so God destroyed the world. That’s a false statement against God. He doesn’t just wipe out everything because humans married each other. The truth is that the fallen angels were mating with human womenand hybrids, called Nephilim, were created. There was genetic tampering happening and humans were no longer fully human. All of creation was corrupted and God couldn’t allow this to happen. Noah was directed to build an ark to save 8 people and some animalswith pure, non-genetically tampered with blood. As stated above, Enoch was taken away from the judgment of the flood because he “walked with God”. The other evil that Luke records, is perverse sexual activity. “Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; theydid eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.” Luke 17:28-29. Ungodly things were happening in the Days of Noah and in the Days o Lot, but people weren’t paying attention. They were “woke” and accepted all manner of sin. Enoch was takenprior to the judgment in Noah’s day, and judgment couldn’t happen until Lot was safely away from Sodom. Are we paying attention today? How many pastors stand firm upon God’s word and reject the homosexual agenda that is trying to corrupt God’s truth? How manyChristians keep silent about how it is an abomination to God? We can’t force truth upon an unbelieving world, but within God’s congregations, we can’t allow sin to rule. Our world is like the days of Lot, and Christians are going aboutnormal life, fully accepting or ignoring these ungodly lifestyles; not caring what God’s word says, but twisting His truth to condone sin. Likewise, genetic manipulation is destroying normal life. Not only are doctors mutilating people to change male to femaleand female to male, but the food we eat isn’t pure. Pesticides are genetically put into crops, cattle are injected with hormones, and synthetic meat is being sold. Genetic tampering happened in the Days of Noah, and we are much the same today. The good news is that God always takes those who are righteous away prior to judgment. As Christians, we are righteous only through our faith in Jesus. We can see that thedays are becoming more and more wicked. All nations are turning against Israel, which is prophetic. The same happenings of the Days of Noah and the Days of Lot are thriving in our day. Christians need to stand firm on God’s truth and not take part in any ofthe evil we see in our world today. Christians are promised that we will be taken to Heaven prior to the final seven years of history. Not because we are righteous, but that Christ is. “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we mightbe made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21. We need to honor Christ by truly repenting of our sin. We can never be righteousness by our own efforts, but we are righteous through Christ. We need to be like Enoch andwalk with God. Christians will be taken away from the soon coming judgment. We can’t let fear of being ridiculed by others stop us from living for Christ. In fact, we need to use our voicesto witness to people around us. “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; and for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly,to make known the mystery of the gospel.” Ephesians 6:18-19. Christ will call us Home soon, and the works we have done for Him will be judged at the Bema Seat. That’s where I want to be while those who have rejected Christ are facing the evil reign of theAnti-Christ, and living with demons. Only faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ will allow you to be taken from the horrors of the Tribulation. Will the Rapture happen today? It could, but we can’t set dates. We can read the signs of the times, and it’s getting close. Brothers and sisters, be vigilant and stand firmon God’s word. Why “Tribulation”?

Why “Tribulation”? – Terry James - https://terryjamesprophecyline.com/2024/02/11/why-tribulation/ Here is the short but thorough answer from God’s prophet on why the seven-year period we term the “Tribulation” is coming: “But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. Woe unto them! for theyhave gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. “And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convinceall that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speakethgreat swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage. “But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, whoshould walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, keeping yourselves in the love of God, looking forthe mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life” (Jude 1:10–21). This describes all of humanity that fell victim, willfully so, to the serpent’s sly phrase: “Yea, hath God said?” Adam’s unbelief in God’s prescription for living eternally with Him immediately caused all of Adam’s progeny to be infected by the serpent’s deadly venom—the sin virus wrappedup in the “mystery of iniquity.” The passage above, given through Jude, describes the absolute depravity of humanity, as America’s founding fathers phrased it in thinking and praying about forming the UnitedStates of America. The founders recognized it for what it is—absolute rebellion of humankind and the need to bring that sin-sickness under governance. That’s why most of them agreed to use the term “Creator” to indicate what that governance must take placeunder. Jude frames why a time will come when all this rebellion, though governed to some extent by law under human government, must be completely destroyed—rooted out from humanity’s “supernatural DNA,” if that’s the proper term in the matter of the souls of humankind. All we have to do is to remember the recent things that continue to plague those who, like the righteous Lot, are “vexed” from day to day by the ungodly we live among. Wewatch as the wicked and rebellious surrounding us just in America murder more than 65 million children in the womb. They seek incessantly to change God’s order. They strive to make us conform to the madness of gender dysphoria. They demand that we validateand embrace their homosexual lifestyles as normal. They legislate and adjudicate in perverted ways parental rights to protect their children against pedophiles—whom they, along with other criminals set free within the lawless system of governing entities, have become. We are demanded, through climate-change fanaticism, to worship the creation rather than the Creator—whom, it is more than obvious, they seek to cast off as the God who isin control. As Enoch put it, according to Jude, God will come to “execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinnershave spoken against him.” The Tribulation, then, is, in part, to punish the anti-God evil and wicked rebels of planet Earth. Secondly, but even more importantly, is that the Tribulation is to callout people who will be His for eternity. Millions will be saved during this terrible time of God’s wrath and Satan’s rampage against God’s heavenly plan. Here is how God will move Heaven and Hell to bring about that ultimate plan of Redemption–to bring both Gentiles and Jewish people into reconciliation with Himself. Twenty-one specific Tribulation judgments are scheduled to fall upon rebellious earth dwellers: 7 Seals Judgments 1) Seal One: Rider on white horse – Rev. 6:2 2) Seal Two: Rider on red horse – Rev. 6:4 3) Seal Three: Rider on black horse – Rev. 6:5 4) Seal Four: Riders on pale horse – Rev. 6:8 5) Seal Five: Slain Tribulation Saints – Rev. 6:9–11 6) Seal Six: Great earthquake/sun darkens/moon becomes red as blood – Rev. 6:12–14 7) Seal Seven: Heaven silent – Rev. 8:1–2 7 Trumpet Judgments 8) Trumpet One: Hail, fire, blood, one-third of trees, and all green grass burned – Rev. 8:7 9) Second Trumpet: Great Mountain-like mass hits ocean – Rev. 8:8–9 10) Trumpet Three: star called Wormwood crashes into fresh waters – Rev. 8:10–11 11) Trumpet Four: Great darkness on earth – Rev. 8:12 12) Trumpet Five: Supernatural locust plague – Rev. 9:1–5 13) Trumpet Six: Demons unbound from Euphrates – Rev. 9:15–21 Heaven again pauses as two witnesses, 144,000 Jewish men sealed for service, plus other things wind up human history. – Rev. chapters 10–15 14) Trumpet Seven: All of the wind-up of chapters 10 through 15 is begun – 10:7 7 Bowl Judgments 15) Bowl One: Great sores befall rebels – Rev. 16:2 16) Bowl Two: Seas turn bloody – Rev. 16:3 17) Bowl Three: Fresh waters become blood – Rev. 16:4 18) Bowl Four: Sun grows darker, yet hotter – Rev. 16:8-9 19) Bowl Five: Pain because of darkness befalls rebels – Rev. 16:10–11 20) Bowl Six: Demons released upon the world – Rev. 16:12–14 21) Bowl Seven: Greatest earthquake flattens every city/100-pound hailstones – Rev. 16:18–20. God’s anger is righteous, not wicked and evil like that of fallen humankind. He finally must inflict His righteous anger in order to bring a remnant of believers to live withHim forever in never-ending ecstasy in the glory of His presence. Before that terrible Day of the Lord begins, Jesus Christ will step onto the clouds of that glorious dimension and shout, “Come up Here!” (Revelation 4:2). All who have believed in Jesus will go instantaneously to Him to be kept from the time of God’s wrath upon the earth’s rebels. You want to be part of this group of called-outbelievers, not among those left behind who will have to go through what Jesus said will be the worst time in all of human history. Millions will be saved as believers during that seven years, but most will have to lose their lives—be martyred for their faith. Here is how to go to Christ when He calls and avoid being left behind to suffer through the Tribulation. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heartman believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9–10). Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Is the Old Testament Now Obsolete?

Is the Old Testament Now Obsolete? - By Gene Lawley - https://www.raptureready.com/2024/02/21/is-the-old-testament-now-obsolete-by-gene-lawley-2/ There seems to be a strong and purposeful trend to cancel out the Old Testament of the Bible since Christ has come into human history. It takes off on a theme that Christtook charge and all prophecy of the future from past utterances of the prophets are no longer relevant. It takes on the appearance of a “Kingdom Now” theology, and the next thing to come is a new heaven and new earth coming down to replace the present heaven and earth. Chronologically, that won’t happen until the end of the Millennium, at least one thousand and seven or more years, according to Revelation 21:1. Those false teachers cancel out the coming of Jesus to “ingather” His body of believers just before the seven years of the tribulation begins, now looming on the immediatehorizon. That missing 70th week of Daniel, told by the angel Gabriel to Daniel and reported at Daniel 9:23 and following, can be none other than the seven-year tribulation period. A major fault that openly defies Scripture is their claim that Jesus did not die on the cross for the whole world but just for those who believe. Scriptures that deny thatclaim are readily seen, as in 1 John 2:2: “And He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but for the whole world.” John 3:16 is even changed to mean “For God so loved the world [of believers] that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoeverbelieves on Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Does “whosoever” mean anyone, or how did that “world of believers” get belief before Christ died for them? Furthermore, Romans 5:6 says, “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly!” He died for sinners, and I was one of that ungodly bunch. Romans5:8 further establishes that His death came first, before the believers, saying, “But God commended His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” But Romans 5:18 then brings the reason that the death of Christ was necessary in order that mankind would have access to everlasting life by choice if he wanted it: “Therefore,as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.” An available gift is not automatically effective until it is accepted, so this does not mean all mankind is saved. Mankind must choose Christ’s provision of redemption. Heis that gift for salvation. And twisting Scriptures to mean something else is obviously promoting a false doctrine. The Scripture is clear in 1 John 5:11-12: “And this is the record that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He whohas the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” The gospel is an Old Testament promise. Another Old Testament command also speaks out. When did the Great Commission actually begin? In Psalm 107:2 it says, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemedfrom the hand of the enemy.” The foundations of our faith are told in the Old Testament, and God never made a promise He did not intend to fulfill. It has been reported that at least 300 or more propheciesand promises of Jesus and His coming into the world have been fulfilled. Paul, the Apostle, was well-versed in the Holy Scriptures and said so in his testimony in Philippians 3. His declaration in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 was based on Old Testament Scriptures, for none of the New Testament writings had been brought into formal observance yet. In his epistles, Paul made two worthy observances that testify to the value of the Old Testament in our theology today. In 1 Corinthians 10:11, he reported this: “Now allthese things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.” God has not changed one bit since the beginning, before time began and eternity past was incomprehensible to mortal minds. Not only does Paul point us to the Old Testament for examples of sinfulness we must avoid, but he also looks there for the Lord’s affirmations of positive qualities. Romans15:4-5 tells us of those: “For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus.” The shedding of blood as the requirement for salvation is recorded in Genesis 3 and is later codified in the law in Leviticus 17:11, saying, “The life of the flesh is in theblood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for sin, for it is the blood that makes the atonement.” It is further established in Hebrews 9:22 with this: “Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins.” And, of course, that final blood sacrifice of Jesus onthe cross as One without sin confirmed and fulfilled that law in its perfection. Concerning the fulfillment of “every jot and tittle of the law,” as claimed of Christ, we see in Hebrews 4:15 how His response to temptations reveals His deity: “For we donot have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.” Two passages that are so detailed of the coming Messiah’s crucifixion that they cannot be called as no longer relevant Scriptures. Psalm 22 is the first one, and Isaiah 53is the other one. That first one details the horror of dying on a cross. You may recall that account in the gospels when Jesus was nailed to the cross on the third hour, that is, at 9:00 a.m.Then, at the ninth hour, or 3:00 p.m., He was pronounced dead. He was hanging there for six hours! He had just said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do,” then, “It is finished,” and, “And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, ‘Father, intoYour hands I commit My spirit.’ Having said this, He breathed His last.” It is an unimaginable and horrible way to die, hanging nailed to an upright cross for six hours, and for the two thieves, having their legs broken to complete their deaths. But for Jesus, a prophecy was fulfilled that none of His bones would be broken. The Isaiah 53 prophecy tells of His suffering at the hands of the religious leaders as “a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief,” and His hanging between two thieves. Itis too truthful to be relegated to nothing worth remembering, as it seems this new “revelation” is promoting. Another prophecy that stands out in its fulfillment is found in Psalm 16:9-10, saying, “Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope. For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.” In John 11, in the account of the death of Lazarus, his sister cautioned Jesus about the condition of her brother’s body, for it had been in the grave for four days, and shesaid, “Now He stinks.” That is, his body had begun to experience corruption. Thus, Jesus had maintained that He would follow the example of Jonah who had been in the belly of the great fish three days and three nights. Jesus said, “I will be threedays and three nights in the belly of the earth.” Then Peter writes that “He went and preached to the spirits in prison” (1 Peter 3:19). One of the less recognized considerations of the Old Testament is its place in the four revelations of God to mankind. His first way of identifying Himself was by His audiblevoice, for no man can see God face to face and live, as the Word declares. And encounters with heavenly beings by people that are recorded in the Old Testament show their responses of great fear as they fall on their faces. Secondly, “He revealed Himself in the law.” How was that, you wonder? As Jesus is later identified, it is the character of His being, as He fulfilled every jot and tittleof the law. Then, Hebrews 1 reveals Him in the person of His only begotten Son, as Jesus declared to Phillip, “He who has seen Me has seen the Father,” and, “Before Abraham was, I AM!” Finally, He comes into the world at the end of those seven years of tribulation and reigns for a thousand years from Jerusalem, “ruling with a rod of iron” in a theocracynot known to mankind from their prior history. The “whole counsel of God” is a principle of biblical study that tests whether or not the student is allowing for contradictions that might exist in his basic doctrine discoveries.Just as the Bereans did, as told in Acts 17:11, the Old Testament is necessary to learn of the whole counsel of God. Proverbs is a book of great wisdom with such truths as, “Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding” (Proverbs 9:10). And, Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will guide your steps.” When Jude wrote his letter, he was going to write about their common salvation, but he “found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faithwhich was once for all delivered to the saints.” Since he quoted Peter’s second letter, dated about 66 A.D., Jude possibly wrote his document not long after that time. Those New Testament letters were not based on new writings, per se, but had to have been founded on Old Testament Scriptures. As the Bereans readily searched the Scripturesto see if what Paul said was so, and that was all they had, it remains that “the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints” came out of Old Testament Scriptures. Read the angel’s message to Daniel of that missing 70th week that so well describes the purpose of God’s plan to punish Israel for their disobedience and to restore them toHis grace and fellowship in an everlasting righteousness. You who would hijack the promises and prophecies of God for these last days to create doctrines of your own making, get ready for a sudden awakening to a God of judgment. When the flesh of Adam’s heritage injects its tongs into the plan of God and twists Scripture to its own understanding, God must make necessary corrections and exact judgment. ‘Come, Lord Jesus’

‘Come, Lord Jesus’: If You Serve Christ You Will Long For His Return – By Skip Heitzig - https://harbingersdaily.com/come-lord-jesus-if-you-serve-christ-you-will-long-for-his-return/ If I took a poll asking how many of you are longing for the second coming of Jesus, I think it would be unanimous. It is the event that all history has been moving toward, the grand finale at the end of the seven-year tribulation. This event was predicted as far back as the garden of Eden when God said the Seed of the woman would crush the head of the Serpent, Satan (see Genesis 3:15). In Revelation 19:10 and 22:9, when John knelt before an angel, he was rebuked and instructed to worship God. All I can ascertain is that John was so amped up by all the visionshe was being shown that he was ready to go face down. But look at Revelation 22:20. Jesus said, “Surely I am coming quickly.” John wrote, “Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!” He got it right in the end. The second coming has always produced a longing in the hearts of God’s people. In the twelfth century, a Jewish rabbi named Maimonides wrote thirteen principles of faith. One was a prayer that every orthodox, pious Jew prays to this day: “I believe with complete faith in the coming of the Messiah, and even though He tarry, yet I will wait for Him every coming day.” We know that Christ has already come—and that He’s coming back. Jesus told us to pray a very similar prayer: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come.Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:9-10). That’s a prayer for His coming. Some of the greatest songs of the church express that longing. “How Great Thou Art” proclaims, “When Christ shall come with shouts of acclamation and take me home, what joyshall fill my heart.” “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” includes these lyrics: “Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord.” Charles Wesley wrote this one: “Come, Thou long expected Jesus…born to reign in us forever, now Thy gracious kingdom bring.” My point is that when John said, “Even so, come, Lord Jesus,” he was voicing a longing that we all have as believers. We long for Jesus to get the worship He deserves as theKing of Kings and Lord of Lords (see Revelation 19:16). The anthem of heaven is “worthy is the Lamb” (Revelation 5:12). So if Jesus is your Lord and King, then you’ll echo John’s prayer, “Come, Lord Jesus.” Now, many people are happy with their earthly home. They think this is all there is. But they still have a longing in their hearts for something more. Well, there is more—andit’s so much better. It will get you through this life. Jesus said, “In my Father’s house are many mansions [or, rooms]; if it were not so, I would have told you” (John 14:2). Living on this earth is like living in a little dinky room. What you really want is the Father’s house. That’s why you were made. God put that longing in you. The Bible saysthat God “has put eternity in [our] hearts” (Ecclesiastes 3:11). That’s what you want. It’s the only thing that will satisfy you. What the world has always longed for and what Jesus said to pray for—”Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”—hasn’t been answered yet. It will beanswered on that day when Jesus returns.

Biblical Morality Is a Necessity For Freedom

Biblical Morality Is a Necessity For Freedom… And Americans Have Known It For Centuries – By David Reagan - https://harbingersdaily.com/biblical-morality-is-a-necessity-for-freedom-and-americans-have-known-it-for-centuries/ Does America’s freedom and liberty last only as long as its morality? In addition to establishing a representative republic with all sorts of checks and balances to protect against the biblically defined evil nature of Man, our Founding Fathersrepeatedly expressed the belief that Christian morality was absolutely essential for both the preservation of liberty and the stability of law. They emphasized this crucial point in their writings over and over again: Consider, for example, Samuel Adams who served as Governor of Massachusetts, was a signer of theDeclaration of Independence, and was the organizer of the Boston Tea Party. He wrote: “A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the whole force of the common enemy. While the people are virtuousthey cannot be subdued; but when they lose their virtue they will be ready to surrender their liberties to the first external or internal invader. Religion and good morals are the only solid foundations of public liberty and happiness.” The first governor of Virginia was Patrick Henry. He also served as member of the Continental Congress. He explained the significance of religion in these words: “The greatpillars of all government and of social life are virtue, morality, and religion. This is the armor… and this alone, that renders us invincible.” The most significant of all our Founding Fathers was, of course, George Washington. He served as Commander in Chief of the Continental Army, overseer of the ConstitutionalConvention, and first President of the United States. He wrote these words: “Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports… in vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism whoshould labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens.” Another member of the Continental Congress was John Adams. He was one of the drafters of the Declaration of Independence, and he served as the second President of the UnitedStates. Here are his strong and eloquent words concerning the necessity of religion. He wrote: “We have no government armed in power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion… Our Constitution was made only for a moral andreligious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” Thomas Jefferson was the renowned author of the Declaration of Independence. Additionally, he served as Governor of Virginia, he was our first Secretary of State, and he wasour third President. He wrote: “No nation has ever yet existed or been governed without religion. Nor can be. The Christian religion is the best religion that has ever been given to man, and I as Chief Magistrate of this nation am bound to give it the sanctionof my example.” James Madison was a political philosopher who is considered to be the “Father of the Constitution” and the “Father of the Bill of Rights.” Madison served as a member of theHouse of Representatives and as our nation’s fourth President. Here’s what he had to say about the essentiality of religion to a government of freedom and liberty: “We have staked the whole future of American civilization, not upon the power of government, far from it. We have staked the future of all of our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government; upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandmentsof God.” Emphasized Throughout Our History The concept of the inalienable interdependence of constitutional order and Christian virtue was not just a characteristic of our Founding Fathers. It has continued to be emphasizedthroughout our history. Take Noah Webster for example. He is considered the “Father of American Education.” He was the publisher of The American Dictionary of the English Language in 1828. And concerningthe importance of Christianity, he wrote these words: “In my view, the Christian Religion is the most important and one of the first things in which all children, under a free government, ought to be instructed… no truth is more evident to my mind than thatthe Christian Religion must be the basis of any government intended to secure the rights and privileges of a free people.” John Quincy Adams was the sixth President of the United States. He also served as an American diplomat, and as a member of the House and Senate. On the occasion of the celebrationof the 45th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, he declared: “The highest glory of the American Revolution was this: it connected in one indissoluble bond the principles of civil government with the principles of Christianity.” Daniel Webster served as a United States Senator from Massachusetts and as Secretary of State. Here are his words concerning Christianity and government: “No truth is moreevident to my mind than that the Christian religion must be the basis of any government intended to secure the rights and privileges of a free people. To preserve the government we must also preserve morals. Morality rests on religion; if you destroy the foundation, the superstructure must fall. When the public mind becomes vitiated and corrupt, laws are a nullity and constitutions are waste paper.” William McGuffey was an American educator and author of the McGuffey’s Reader, first published in 1836. He observed: “The Christian religion is the religion of our country. From it are derived our prevalent notions of the character of God, the great moral governor of the universe. On its doctrines are founded the peculiarities of our free institutions.” In 1838 the New York State Legislature declared: “This is a Christian nation. Ninety-nine hundredths, if not a larger proportion, of our whole population, believe in the generaldoctrines of the Christian religion. Our government depends… on that virtue that has its foundation in the morality of the Christian religion.” In 1892 in the case of United States vs. Church of the Holy Trinity, the Supreme Court of the United States expressed these words: “No purpose of action against religion canbe imputed to any legislation, state or national, because this is a religious people. This is historically true. From the discovery of this continent to the present hour, there is a single voice making this affirmation. We are a Christian people, and the moralityof the country is deeply engrafted upon Christianity.” Calvin Coolidge served as Governor of Massachusetts and Vice President of the United States before he was elected to serve as our 30th President. He was known as “Silent Cal” because he seldom expressed himself about anything. But he had some [insightful] words about the importance of the Christian faith to the continuing existence of our nation, he wrote, “The foundations of our society and our government rest so much on the teachingsof the Bible that it would be difficult to support them if faith in these teachings would cease to be practically universal in our country.” In 1931 The United States Supreme Court, in the case of United States v. McIntosh, made this proclamation: “We are a Christian people, according to one another the equal rightof religious freedom, and acknowledging with reverence the duty of obedience to the will of God.” Peter Marshall was a Scottish-American, a preacher, who served as pastor of New York Avenue Presbyterian Church in Washington, D.C., he is often referred to as “The Churchof the Presidents,” Peter Marshall also served as Chaplain of the United States Senate. In a prayer offered before the Senate in 1947 he said: “May it be ever understood that our liberty is under God and can be found nowhere else… We were born that way, asthe only nation on earth that came into being for the glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith.” Earl Warren served as Governor of California and was the 14th Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court. In a Time magazine interview conducted in February of 1954,shortly after President Eisenhower had appointed him as Chief Justice, he made this observation about our Christian heritage, he said, “I believe no one can read the history of our country without realizing that the Good Book and the spirit of the Savior havefrom the beginning been our guiding geniuses… I believe the entire Bill of Rights came into being because of the knowledge our forefathers had of the Bible and their belief in it. I like to believe we are living today in the spirit of the Christian religion.I like also to believe that as long as we do so, no great harm can come to our country.” Dwight Eisenhower served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe during World War II. He also served two terms as our 34th President. He made this observationabout the relationship between religion and government: “Without God there could be no American form of government, nor an American way of life. Recognition of the Supreme Being is the first and the most basic expression of Americanism.” Ronald Reagan, our 40th President, expressed a similar sentiment when he proclaimed: “America needs God more than God needs America. If we ever forget that we are “One Nationunder God,” then we will be a Nation gone under.” Well as you can see from the survey of expressions concerning our nation’s Christian heritage, that heritage has been recognized and lauded by our leaders from the beginninguntil the latter part of the 20th Century. It has only been in recent years that this important heritage has been denied and disparaged. A Foreigner’s Perspective Even foreigners who visited the country recognized the significance of our Christian heritage. Take, for example, the French historian, Alexis de Tocqueville who visited theUnited States in the early 1830’s. In 1835 he published the first of a two volume study of this nation, titled, Democracy in America. He revealed that the intertwining of Christianity with government was very surprising to him. He wrote these words, “Upon my arrival in the United States, the religious aspect of the country was the first thing that struck my attention; and the longer I stayed there, the more did I perceive the great political consequences resulting from this state of things, to which I was unaccustomed. In France I had almost always seen the spirit of religion and the spirit of freedom pursuing courses diametrically opposed to each other;but in America I found that they were intimately united, and that they reigned in common over the same country. The Americans combine the notions of Christianity and of liberty so intimately in their minds, that it is impossible to make them conceive the onewithout the other.” Is America still a Christian nation? Although 85% of Americans identify themselves as Christians, only about 9% at the most would claim to be born-again, Evangelical Christians. This means that most Americansare simply professing Christians, or cultural Christians. But this sad fact does not negate the historical evidence that our Founding Fathers established this nation on Christian principles and that those principles still serve asthe basis of our constitutional structure and our laws. The problem, of course, is that those with [a progressive] viewpoint are determined to cut America loose from its Judeo-Christian foundation. They have a classic European-styleHumanist worldview that despises Christianity and Capitalism, and the result is that freedom is endangered. We are speeding toward a secular, pagan society devoid of values that contribute to virtue and civility. And if this transition continues unabated, our system of governmentwill not be able to survive, for it is based upon the assumption of a citizenry that is endowed with biblical truths. We need to pray for our nation as never before. We need to pray that the schemes of the secularists will be frustrated, confused, and defeated.

The Adoption of Digital Currency

The Next Generation Is Being Prepared for The Adoption of Digital Currency – Simon Black - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=6700 I imagine life can often feel pretty difficult for today's high school students. On top of dealing with classic teenage drama like homework, hormones, pimples, parents, driving, dating, university selection, and more, students these days have to contendwith a host of new challenges. They suffered long periods of brutal Covid lockdowns. Active shooter drills are a normal part of student life. And, of course, there's the nonstop anxiety and peer pressureof social media. Plus, on top of everything else, students today have also been force-fed some pretty bizarre ideas. Classical literature, advanced mathematics, and hard sciences have taken a back seat to social justice, climate justice, economic justice, etc. (as defined by the woke, fanaticalleft). But there are early signs that this indoctrination is starting to break new ground. Yesterday a close friend of mine who lives in Spain told me that his son, a high school senior, has been getting lessons in school about Central Bank Digital Currencies, orCBDCs. If you're not familiar with the concept, a CBDC is essentially a cryptocurrency that is controlled by the government and central bank. And so far, at least half a dozen CBDCshave been rolled out around the world, including in Russia, China, and India. Now, governments already have the means to track you and monitor your finances. They can force financial institutions and credit card issuers to turn over your entire financial history. They can order banks and brokerage firms to freeze your assets. And if you remember what happened in Canada during the 'Freedom Convoy' protests, Justin Trudeau Castro used his 'emergency powers' cut the protestors off from the financialsystem. They had no access to their bank accounts, ATMs, or even crowdfunding platforms. Governments already have the power to do all of these things. But CBDCs take this power to a much higher level... because there's no more middleman. Government authorities wouldn't have to bother going to banks, brokerages, and creditcard companies; they could simply deactivate your funds with a mouse click. Have fun trying to buy groceries. Now, even though only a handful of CBDCs have been rolled out around the world, there are over 100 central banks that are developing their own CBDCs. And that includes boththe United States and the European Union. My friend's son (again, a high school senior in Spain) explained that his teachers are absolutely gushing over the idea of CBDCs. In a class which covers banking, mortgages, and the financial system, they're telling the kids that, probably within a year, the new 'digital euro' will be rolled out. Andeventually it will become mandatory. Cash will cease to exist, and all money will be registered with the European Central Bank. Europe's army of bureaucrats will know what's happening, in real time, to every single euro in existence. And there will be no way of getting around it. Financial privacywill be a thing of the past. The teachers expressed utter joy about this, and the curriculum seems designed to get the kids excited about it too. They say the digital euro represents incredible progress, and that it will make life easier and simpler. Businesses will be able to collect payments more easily. You'll be able to spend everywhere directly from your phone, and maybe cut out the need for credit cards or even traditionalbank accounts. They also say that CBDCs will be an effective way to control money laundering, criminal activity, and terrorist financing. That's why, they explain to the students, the EUhas already begun to crack-down on cash and crypto transactions over €1,000. According to my friend's son, most students in his class appear pretty excited about CBDCs. Hardly anyone seems fazed by the loss of privacy or increased government authorityover their lives. But intelligent people--including my friend and his son-- clearly see where this is going. We've already seen people lose their jobs and be canceled off the Internet for wrong think. We've seen people frozen out of their bank accounts for standing up for their rights. Frankly, the brutal use of the Prime Minister's emergency powers against the Freedom Convoy protestors in Canada should have served as a giant wake-up call: if you hold yourlife's savings in the financial system of your home country, you're already taking an unnecessary risk. And that's regardless of what happens with CBDCs. This means that having some savings outside of the financial system is a completely sensible idea. And fortunately, there are plenty of easy ways to do this, including liquidassets like physical gold and silver, cryptocurrency, and cash. It's hard to imagine there's any downside for having direct access to some emergency savings. Independent, thinking people ought to understand where this trend may lead... and more importantly, to take rational steps to minimize the consequences in advance.

The Error That Causes Christians To Misunderstand The Purpose Of The Tribulation

The Error That Causes Christians To Misunderstand The Purpose Of The Tribulation – By Amir Tsarfati - https://harbingersdaily.com/the-error-that-bores-holes-into-christians-understanding-of-the-tribulation/ The 70th week of Daniel, also known as the Time of Jacob’s Trouble and the Great Tribulation, is one of, if not the most, decisive arguments for the pre-tribulation Raptureof the church. Daniel 9:24 KJV – “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliationfor iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.” There are six things that are prophesied to happen during the seventy seven-year-periods spoken of here that are in relation to Daniel’s people, the Jews, and the holy city,Jerusalem. To finish the transgression means to bring Israel’s apostasy to an end. To make an end of sins means to bring sin under final judgment. To make reconciliation for iniquityis a reference to the means by which sins will come under final judgment, which is through the cross of Christ. It is this same means that will usher in everlasting righteousness and vision. It is also through this reconciliation that prophecies concerningthe Jews and Jerusalem will be fulfilled, and through which the Most Holy will be anointed as King to sit on David’s throne and rule from Jerusalem over the whole of the world. Hosea 5:15 KJV – “I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.” The seventieth week of Daniel is a time when God is dealing with the nation of Israel, Daniel’s people, and the city of Jerusalem. It is specific to them as a time of afflictionthat will cause the earnest seeking of the One they have long rejected. Yes, millions of others will be saved during this time of affliction, but there is no mention of the presence of the church during the seventieth week of Daniel. If the church has replaced Israel then to whom is Hosea referring? What offense has the church committed, and how can they be the church and not seek His face? If they havenot earnestly sought Him and only affliction can make them do so, then the sufferings of Christ did not create a glorious church without spot or wrinkle washed in the blood of the Lamb. The only possible answer to these questions is that God is not finished with the nation of Israel! It is only through this amazing truth that remedy can be made for the damagedone to the integrity of Scripture and the holes left in the prophetic narrative that are caused by believing the church has replaced Israel. Zechariah 12:10 KJV – “And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon mewhom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.” The church is not the house of David nor is the church the inhabitants of Jerusalem nor did the church pierce the Lord at His crucifixion. There was no church when Jesus diedand rose again. The church was born after He ascended and the Holy Spirit came. God is not done with the nation of Israel and that is something to rejoice in. God does not choose people, giving them unconditional and everlasting promises, only to latercast them off forever or replace them with another group. Israel is back in their national homeland and that means the time of their affliction is near. The Bride will be in the Father’s house during that time for the church doesnot have an appointment with God’s wrath and her reconciliation to the Father has already come to pass.

Ever So Close

Ever So Close - By Dennis Huebshman - https://www.raptureready.com/2024/02/13/ever-so-close-by-dennis-huebshman/ Luke 21:28; “Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” (ESV – all emphasis is mine) First, we need to look at what “these things” consist of. Some serious Bible reading would start with Matthew 24 and Luke 21. Jesus gave a number of specific events and attitudesthat would be present toward the end of this era. Once He gets to “abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the Holy Place” (Matthew 24:15), He is speaking of already being in the tribulation/wrath. This is an event that truebelievers today need not worry about. Before the “abomination” or antichrist can come forth, we will have to be gone from this earth. Looking at 2 Thessalonians 2:3-8, we get a very good picture of this. “Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come unless the rebellion comes first, andthe man of lawlessness is revealed; the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be god. Do you not remember that when I wasstill with you, I told you these things? And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only He who now restrains it will do so until He is out of the way. And the lawlessone will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of His mouth, and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming.” One note here: in numerous books of both the Old and the New Testaments, we are told all who are true believers and have received and accepted Jesus as Savior will be indweltby the Holy Spirit. In the Old Testament it would pertain to all who were in the will of the Father. The Holy Spirit would be the “restraining force” that is keeping the antichrist from coming out until the Father decides it’s time for the wrath to begin. God promised that believers would not go into the wrath or tribulation in 1 Thessalonians 1:10, 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10, and Revelation 3:10. When the Holy Spirit allows theantichrist to come out, all who are indwelt by Him must have been removed to keep us from the wrath as promised by the Father, and that will be through the event called the Rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:51-53.) Therefore, if the “things” Jesus and others spoke of have already begun, we are getting ever so close to leaving this wicked, sin-filled earth to be with our Savior. On theway up to meet Him, the dead in Christ will be reunited with their earthly remains, and they will be converted into their forever immortal bodies. Then, all who are alive at the Rapture will be converted into a new forever body as each one rises up to see our Jesus face-to-face for the very first time. One additional benefit; we will be “just like Jesus” as given in 1 John 3:2-3; “Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know thatwhen He appears, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who thus hopes in Him purifies himself as He is pure.” From the instant of conversion, we will never again be subject to the sin nature that all humans were endowed with through the first sin in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3).We will have the same nature that our Lord and Savior Jesus has, and that gift was paid for by Him for us at Calvary. After all, He was the only “human” that ever lived, or ever will live, that never committed even one sin. He was totally committed, as given in Philippians 2:5-8; “Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who though He was in the form of God, did not countequality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.” Jesus told us in Matthew 7:13-14 that there would be more people attracted to the things of this earth rather than those who would receive and accept Him. It is obviouslythat way in today’s world. Paul tells us in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 about the negative attitudes and actions that will be here, “in the last days…” Every one of them he listed is here in today’s worldly societies. In 2 Peter 3:3, he tells us, “knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires.” In 1 John 4:1-3, we are told, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God; for many false prophets have gone out into theworld. By this you know the Spirit of God; every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming, andnow is in the world already.” All the above verses from Paul, Peter, and John were given nearly 2,000 years ago, and antichrists and false prophets were in the world already. There has been evil in thisworld from the very beginning, and it’s still here today. There will be sin right up to the end of the Millennial Reign of Jesus. After that, there will be only one of two places that souls will go. First, for all who were out of the will of the Father from the beginning and up to Calvary, and those from Calvary up to the end of the Millennial Reign of the Savior thatrefused to receive and accept Jesus, they will attend judgment at the Great White Throne to learn their eternal degree of punishment. No one can receive forgiveness at this judgment, and there will be no pardons there (Revelation 20:11-15). The judgment of all who were in the will of God pre-Calvary, and all who truly received and accepted Jesus from then on, will appear at the Judgment Seat of Christ as givenin 2 Corinthians 5:10. “For we must all appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body; whether good or evil.” We gain or lose rewards at this judgment, but we do not lose eternity in Heavenwith our Precious Savior. For those who have passed from life on this earth, there is really no mystery for them as to which judgment they will attend. The parable of Lazarus and the rich man of Luke16:19-31 gives a clear picture of this. For the rich man, he was destined for eternal punishment and was already suffering. Lazarus had been in the will of the Father, and when he passed, he went to Abraham’s side, or a place of comfort and peace. Paul told us that to live was to live for Christ, and to die was to go and be with Christ (Philippians 1:21-23). That tells us that the precious flock will be with Jesus whenwe take our last breath here. One more observation: a couple of verses for any who are saying they will call out to Jesus later for their Salvation. Proverbs 27:1, “Do not boast about tomorrow, for youdo not know what a day may bring.” Also James 4:13-14, “Come now, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town, and spend a year there and make trade or profit’; yet you do not knowwhat tomorrow may bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time, then vanishes.” What part of “forever” slips by without notice? If a person lives to be over 100 years old, that isn’t even an eye-blink in eternity. Nothing on this earth is worth your eternalsoul being pulled away from the Savior, no matter what Satan may tempt you with. After all, he will be receiving the worst condemnation of all in the lake of fire, which should be very obvious. Before any more time passes, call out to the Savior and admit that you are a sinner and are lost without His precious gift. Ask His forgiveness and that He will come intoyour heart and be your Shepherd forever. He will turn no one away who truly calls out to Him, and no one has sinned so greatly that they cannot be forgiven. Ephesians 2:8-9 tells us we cannot earn or buy our way to Salvation. It’s a gift from the Father through the shed blood of His Son, Jesus the Christ. No decision you ever make will be more valuable or as important as this one. His coming for His precious flock is ever so close. Be Ready! Shalom – Peace; Maranatha – Come, Lord Jesus! huebshman46@gmail.com

Are you "all in?"

Are you "all in?" – Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com How many times in your life did you feel you had to do something, but your “heart” just wasn’t in it? In coaching athletes, I have found that many young men and women haveconsiderable talent, but it is not fully realized because they were not convinced that they had to exercise the whole of that talent to be all they could be. Same is true for people in their work. There are the 9-to-5ers who punch the clock and do whateverthey must to get to the end of the day. Then there are those who really believe in and love their work. They do it because they love what they do, not because they feel they have to do it. To me, this characterizes the debate on tithing—is it a “must do” oris it “freewill” from the love of the heart? I’m going to suggest that tithing, or contribution unto the Lord, is a reflection upon each person’s heart—their place where the Lord dwells, and it doesn’t have to do withjust money. The Hebrew word for “contribution, gift or freewill offering” is Trumah. In Exodus 25:2, the LORD told Moses, “Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering (Trumah): of ever man that gives it willingly with his heart you shalltake my offering.” The offering was for the building of the Mishkan (Tabernacle), the place that would symbolize the Presence of the LORD among the Israelite people during their journey to Canaan. Then the LORD says in Exodus 25:8, “They are to make me a sanctuaryso that I may live among them.” Spiritually speaking, each of us is created to be a “mishkan,” a dwelling place for God. 1 Corinthians 6:19 asks “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the HolySpirit in you, whom you have from God?” Our Trumah is the choice to give our hearts to the LORD by inviting him to abide within us as Christ said in John 15:4,5: “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch (you) cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide inthe vine (Christ); no more can you, except you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing.” When we are willing to give our hearts to the LORD andmake God’s dwelling place within our hearts, then He can reveal Himself through our lives to others. The tithe, the Trumah, is reflective of your heart, your temple—mishkan--of the Lord. It is not about the legalistic provision of ten percent to the church. It’s about theall-in partnership of the LORD abiding in you and you abiding in Him, beginning with the giving of your heart as His dwelling place. In doing so freely, Christ is revealed to others through our everyday lives. In this we have daily sacrifices in our personaltemple, as described in Romans 12:1, “…to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service.” God doesn’t want ten percent, He wants 100 percent that you as Christ said in Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shinebefore men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” So are you “all-in?”

Even Amid The World’s Insanity, God Is At Work

Even Amid The World’s Insanity, God Is At Work – By Amir Tsarfati - https://harbingersdaily.com/amir-tsarfati-even-amid-the-worlds-insanity-god-is-at-work/ (Galilee, Israel) — Shalom from Israel! The battle rages in the south. The storm clouds of war build in the north. The political opposition to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahuis back at it, trying to remove him from office. A crazy president in Brazil is comparing Israel to Hitler’s Germany. Ignorant mobs the world over are chanting their slogans of love for the perpetrators of the October 7 massacre, while vehemently condemningthe victims. Christians are regularly being slaughtered by Islamists in Western Africa, but the press is ignoring it. Iran missed a turn somewhere and found themselves at the South Pole, so they decided to lay claim to it. Another Putin critic, healthy andonly 47-years-old, somehow managed to die in prison. And the president of the most powerful nation in the world, well, let’s just say it appears he may be slightly past his prime. People, this is the crazy world we are living in! But through it all, we know that God is in control, and that is why there are great things happening too. You should see the number of pictures I receive from all over theworld of churches, community groups, school classes, and families, all waving their Israeli flags and sending messages of love and support. There are pro-Israel rallies and marches in many areas of the world. The new Argentine president has been very supportiveof Israel, and the mainland European country that has given us the most love has been Germany, of all places! While the U.S. is turning into a political morass for us, they continue to send arms and much needed munitions, particularly for our missile defensesystems. Israel has established a land route to bypass the Houthi blockade of the Red Sea that is bringing us supplies from India via the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan. And Israel is forging deeper friendships with most of the Gulf States, as well as, veryquietly, the family of Saud in Riyadh. Even amid this world’s insanity, God is at work. He loves His nation, and He loves His people the world over. It is that truth of God’s hand on His children that comfortedme and my family as we sent my number three child, a son, off this week for his mandatory military service. For the next three years, he will serve in the IDF, and we pray that the second and third year of his stint will be much less tumultuous than this first.Once again I say, our God is in control. Halleluiah and amen! Psalm 34:7-8 KJV – “The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trustethin him.” The War in the South The work dismantling the tunnel system in Khan Yunis continues. Spearheading this operation is Yahalom, a sayeret or “special forces” unit of the Israel Defense Force’s (IDF)Combat Engineering Corps. The goal of Operation Protective Edge is to put out of commission Hamas’s extensive tunneling throughout the Gaza Strip. It is extremely dangerous work as there are many places for terrorists to hide and booby-trapping is extensive. But through it all, Yahalom and other units of the IDF are making amazing progress. Despite international protests, the IDF launched an operation against Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis. As expected, it was crawling with Hamas. Hundreds of terrorists were arrested, and many weapons were destroyed. A vehicle stolen from Kibbutz Nir Oz was found on the premises, as were packages of necessary medicine for the hostages that were never distributed. The IDF must fight Hamas where it is at. It is the terrorists who chose NasserHospital as the battleground. They are the ones who bear the blame for the resulting humanitarian issues. It is no wonder that more and more Gazans are fed up with Hamas and are speaking out against them. A Gazan widow, in response to the leaflets that Israeldropped offering cash rewards to anyone who could provide the location of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, was recently recorded saying, “I swear, if I knew where he was, I’d bring them Sinwar’s head for free.” So many have lost everything in this war, and theyare quickly realizing that the blame does not lie north of their border in Israel but with the terrorists within their midst. With the operations of both Northern Gaza and Khan Yunis coming closer to completion, the focus is on Rafah. The plan of the war cabinet for that southern region of Gaza isto enter strong close to the beginning of Ramadan. The IDF will move to encircle Yahya Sinwar from all sides, then conduct negotiations for the release of the abductees. What these negotiations will not include is a promise of a permanent ceasefire if that means Hamas remains a viable entity. Nor will it include any verbiage hinting at a Palestinianstate. Prime Minister Netanyahu has been adamantly against a two-state solution, despite the hard push from the United States. The Knesset on Wednesday backed the PM up with an overwhelming majority, only one vote short of 80% support, that included his owncoalition and many from the opposition. If anyone feels that Israel is unreasonable in their prosecution of this war and insistence that a Hamas-led Gaza not be allowed self-governance on their border, they needonly remember October 7. Murder, torture, and kidnapping were carried out not just by the Hamas terrorists, but by ordinary Gazan citizens who followed the “soldiers” through the border fence. The Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel submitted a reportto the United Nations (UN) detailing the systematic and premeditated rape of women, men, and underaged girls and boys throughout the attack. The despicable assaults included the use of foreign objects, including gun muzzles and knives. What we hear from returninghostages is that the sexual violence perpetrated against the abductees has continued through the many days of their captivity. This is part of the reason why Israelis are so disdainful of the claim by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) that Israelis operating a campaign to destroy the agency. Hey, UNRWA, we don’t have time to fight with you. We already have a war on our hands. All we’re doing is telling the truth of the dozen, at least, of your employees who actively participated in the actions ofOctober 7. We’re just letting folks know of the many UNRWA sites that housed terrorists, warehoused weapons, and provided access points to the terror tunnels under Gaza. The only thing we’ve done is report the truth. The world is doing the rest. When the UNRWAcollapses, it will be as a result of your actions, not ours. The War in the West Bank Many believe that the IDF is only facing the enemy in the south and the north. However, the West Bank is a dangerous place in which many belonging to Hamas and the PalestineIslamic Jihad (PIJ) are harbored along with an extremely large cache of weapons. Almost nightly, there are operations into the region, such as the one that took place in Jenin on Wednesday. Three terrorists were killed and 40 more were arrested when the IDFraided two houses. Also, many weapons were seized, and improvised explosive devices (IED) were located and disarmed along the roads in and out of the city. The West Bank terrorist cells are especially concerning, because when the battle in the north eventuallybegins, Israel will immediately face another front right in the heart of the nation. The West Bank is also the origin of numerous terror attacks on Israeli civilians, including the one that took place just this morning near Jerusalem. Three Palestinian gunmenfrom the Bethlehem area opened fire on a line of cars stuck in traffic. Put yourself in that situation. You’re just going to work when suddenly automatic weapons are being fired at you and the cars around you. And because you are in traffic, you’re trappedand helpless with nowhere to go. One man was killed in the attack and 11 more innocent civilians were wounded. Two of the gunmen were killed at the site of the attack by police and armed citizens, and the third was “neutralized” a short time later. The War in the North The soft war in the north continues with rockets crossing the border southward and airstrikes directed north. A targeted elimination by Israel killed two in the Kfar Sousaneighborhood of Damascus, a district known for the presence of Iranian security personnel. The Israeli airstrike took place just one day short of the one-year anniversary of a similar attack directed at Kfar Sousa. Eventually, the generals of the IRGC aregoing to catch on that their people are much safer when they are kept in Iran. Although, that’s not always the case. The IDF continues their “softening” of targets in Lebanon prior to the coming launch of the war in the north. A concerning report was released on Tuesday by French newspaperLiberacion that claims that Hezbollah has a tunnel system in Lebanon that dwarfs that of Gaza in both size and sophistication. Back in the 1980s, Iran and North Korea came alongside Hezbollah to begin the tunneling, and the terrorist organization has beenworking on it for the past four decades. The tunnels can be used for attack, troops movement, warehousing, barracks, and other needs. Hundreds and hundreds of kilometers stretch through the country reaching Syria and Israel. Yemen The Houthis of Yemen continued their attacks on shipping throughout the week, leading U.S. forces to carry out five self-defense strikes on Saturday. Each strike was aimedat lessening the terrorist group’s ability to carry out their missile launches. This morning, however, it became quite evident in Israel’s southern city of Eilat that the Houthis still have plenty of capability when warning sirens sounded. A surface-to-surfacemissile was inbound toward the city. Thankfully, the Arrow missile defense system was able to intercept and destroy the threat before it reached its target. Iran Iran has declared property rights in Antarctica and announced sovereignty over the South Pole. Sometimes the potential jokes are so plentiful that it is best just to sit backand let the fact stand on its own. Russia Speaking of my Nir Tavor series, during a discussion about imprisoned Putin critic Alexei Navalny on page 107 of my latest novel, Out of the Far North, one of my charactersmade the suggestion, “I hope Navalny has his life insurance paid up, because I don’t think he’s going to be around much longer.” Fiction became reality last Friday when Navalny fell over dead during a walk in an Arctic prison. When his lawyer and his motherarrived at the prison colony the next day, they were told he died of “sudden death syndrome”. This is a diagnosis that can likely be used for most of Putin’s now deceased critics, including the many who fall from high-rise balconies and the ones who commitsuicide by shooting themselves twice in the back of the head. Brazil Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio da Silva, known as Lula, made a speech in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on Sunday in which he declared the war in Gaza as genocide. He then took ita step further, saying the only other moment in history when something so heinous has occurred was “when Hitler decided to kill the Jews.” A firestorm ensued. The next day, Foreign Minister Israel Katz reprimanded Brazil’s ambassador to Israel and declaredLula persona non grata in Israel. That same day, Lula ordered the ambassador home to Brazil. Kudos go out to the opposition in the Brazilian government which on Tuesday garnered 110 signatures for a call for the impeachment of the president.

The Modern-Day Purveyors of Fear and False Peace

The Modern-Day Purveyors of Fear and False Peace – By JonathanBrentner - https://harbingersdaily.com/the-modern-day-purveyors-of-fear-and-false-peace/ A realistic look at our world is enough to generate much anxiety. The widespread wickedness, violence, government corruption, and continual rumors of WWIII and/or terroristattacks often set off alarms concerning our future well-being. I write as one who is not immune to the panic that comes from living amid the multiple threats to our livelihood and safety. Where do we go when the perils of this life spark anger within us or cause us to retreat within ourselves in fear of what might happen next? The most popular response today is to fall for the illusion that all will be well in the future. The lure of solutions that offer refuge apart from the arms of Jesus is strong;we must be aware of their appeal so that we do not place our hope in them. Cisterns That Hold No Water During a recent interview, David Fiorarzo asked me about how those who dismiss the promises of Bible prophecy deal with today’s terrors. I offered one suggestion, but as Ihave continued to think about his question, the words of Jeremiah 2:12-13 have sparked other possible responses. Below are the words to this passage that speak to both those in Christ and those who have not placed their hope in Him: Jeremiah 2:12-13 KJV – “Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the Lord. For my people have committed two evils; they haveforsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.” Below are several “broken cisterns” that only give the appearance of relief in our fear-mongering world. 1. The Mainstream Media The mainstream media, which includes the likes of CNN, ABC, CBS, and MSNBC, first creates fear. These news outlets create panic through false narratives regarding such thingsas climate change or pandemics in order to lead people to their empty remedies that provide no lasting relief and often generate more anger and fear. The words of Proverbs 13:20 aptly sum up the difference between looking at today’s woes through the lens of Bible prophecy versus that of relying on what the mainstream mediaoffers, “Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.” The root word for “companion,” in the original, pictures the idea of sheep grazing in a pasture. Those who “graze” upon the world’s perspective offered by the mainstream mediawill surely “suffer harm” because it always leads to a rejection of biblical wisdom. 2. Gaslighting The mainstream media furthers today’s rampant deception by repeating and substantiating false claims. It’s gaslighting, the repeated confirmation of lies that contradict bothwhat we see and hear. In just the past few weeks, I have either read or heard all of the following affirmations presented as though they were well-established facts: 1. President Biden has a perfect memory. (Yes, I recently read this on social media.) 2. The Biden administration has lowered the U.S. debt level. 3. The COVID injections are completely safe and effective. 4. Illegal immigration at the southern border of America is fully under control. 5. Illegal immigration is totally out of control and thus a dire threat to our security solely because of the prior president’s failure to address the issue. It doesn’t matter that such statements contradict reality, or even each other, people accept them as truth because they repeatedly hear the same lies on mainstream news outlets. These purveyors of evil know that if they repeat a lie often enough, many will blindly accept it as the truth. 3. Conspiracy Theories What about those of us that point out the valid threats to our future well-being? Oh, according to those wishing to ignore the threats, what we say lacks any connection tothe real world. Those seeking water in the broken cisterns of today regard our warnings as “conspiracy theories.” Sadly, many Christians also close their ears to those of us who connect today’s world with Bible prophecy. “What we see today are not signs of the last days,” they say, “butrather the products of conspiracy theorists who begin with what they read or hear in the news and then twist Scripture to match.” 4. Help Is Most Certainly Not on The Way In the past, I placed too much of my hope in political solutions. I eventually discovered the futility of thinking that politicians can reverse the current path of corruption, evil, and violence in my country. They cannot. I’m not saying we as believers should abandon this arena altogether, just that we recognize the futility of hoping that winning elections will eliminate the perils of ourday and reverse the course of one’s nation. I know from experience that such a path leads to great disappointment. Former President George W. Bush ran for the high office with the campaign slogan, “Help is on the way.” However, this quip from Ronald Reagan is far closer to the truth, “Themost terrifying words in the English language are: ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’” 5. Modern-Day Purveyors of A False Peace The most popular coping mechanism among Christians today is that of trusting the church rather than the Lord Jesus for deliverance from the evils of this age. The words below, taken from Kari Jobes’ song “Amen (Simple Gospel),” exemplify this misplaced confidence and not only that, do greatly dishonor the Nameof our Savior: The church will arise With power and love Our cities will know The glory of God The future is bright There’s nothing to fear Revival is now The Kingdom is here. The current popularity of seeking refuge inside the walls of our churches results from pastors who promote this illusion of security from the ills of our day. They peddlepeace at a time when it most surely doesn’t exist. In response to the warnings of Jeremiah and Ezekiel concerning God’s judgment on ancient Judah, those charged with the spiritual care of the people at that time proclaimed “peace, peace, when there is no peace” (Jeremiah 6:14 and also Ezekiel 13:10). I believe the Lord’s message to many pastors today would mirror the rebuke that He spoke long ago through His prophets to the spiritual shepherds in ancient Judah. Like themythical sandman, they lull people to sleep with fanciful dreams of a future filled with peace devoid of the Lord’s soon intervention in our world. The Name of The Lord There is a safe place amid the terrors of today. The words Proverbs 18:10 very much apply to us today: Proverbs 18:10 KJV – “The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.” The “name of the Lord” consists both of the words of Scripture He has given to us and His indwelling presence through the Holy Spirit in us. When I feel the assault of the devil seeking to instill fear/anger within me because of what I see in today’s world, I run to the arms of Jesus. I do this by: 1. Immersing My Mind on Passages About Jesus’ Appearing I feel the Lord’s comfort when I immerse my mind in biblical texts that speak to His imminent appearing and the glory that will be ours in eternity. Although I have read passages1 Corinthians 15:47-58, 1 John 3:1-3, Philippians 3:20-21, Colossians 3:1-4, and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-5:11 perhaps hundreds of times, reading them afresh still encourages my heart. Jesus, through the Holy Spirit, inspired the words of such passages to relieve our fears and encourage our hearts (1 Thessalonians 4:13; 5:11). Please don’t discount the calm that comes from immersing yourself in passages of Scripture that speak to the joy and glory that’s headed your way in eternity. 2. Regarding Today as Biblical Times I first heard the words, “We live in biblical times,” while listening to a Dr. David Reagan interview. Remembering this truth always brings me back from the brink of unnecessaryfear. The Bible said the world would be like this in the last days. This truth reminds me that God remains sovereignly in control of history and along with that, shouts to me that Jesus’ appearing to take me home is ever so near. The message of Bible prophecy assures us that the One who so accurately revealed the future to prophets long ago (Isaiah 46:8-13) is more than able to keep His promises tous today. 3. Recognizing the Certainty of God’s Judgment When the darkness of today threatens to overwhelm my soul, I often retreat to the words of Psalms 37 and 94. There’s something about seeing the certainty of the Lord’s futurejudgment on widespread evil, such as we now witness, that enables me to deal with what I see. Yes, the villains of our day appear free to perpetuate murder, lawlessness, deceit, and violence with no one holding them accountable. Most will never see the inside of ajail cell regardless of what they do. However, the Lord will bring them to justice, and it will be far worse than a prison sentence. 4. Casting All My Cares Upon the Lord During the past year, I have read 1 Peter 5:1-11 more times than I can remember. I have found that casting all my “anxieties” or “cares” on the One who cares for me bringssweet relief to my soul. Whether it be the angst I feel from current events, nagging concerns, or that of dealing with those who fervently oppose my ministry, the visualization of casting all these things onto the hands of the Lord always calms my heart (vv.6-7). If you trust Jesus as your Savior, please recognize that He alone is your place of refuge. When the threats and concerns of this world overwhelm you, run to His loving armsand shove all your troubles onto the hands of the One who dearly loves you. His “name” remains the “strong tower” of refuge in a world gone mad If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus alone for eternal life, please, please read my post, Jesus Is the Only Path to Eternal Life. In it, I explain how you can knowthat Jesus has forgiven all your sins and that you possess eternal life and with the sure hope of receiving an immortal and incorruptible body at Jesus’ appearing (1 Corinthians 15:48-54). Please don’t delay; call upon Jesus while you may! Tomorrow may be too late to avoid the death and destruction that is surely coming to our world.

Back To Babylon-----

Back To Babylon - By Daymond Duck - https://www.raptureready.com/2024/02/10/back-to-babylon-by-daymond-duck/ Following the Creation, God revealed that He wanted people to be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth (Gen. 1:28). But everyone perished in the Great Flood except for8 people (Noah, his wife, their 3 sons, and their sons’ wives). People began to multiply again: Noah’s son Ham begat Cush; then Cush begat Nimrod (Gen.10). Nimrod is credited with building several cities in the Plain of Shinar, he roseto power over those cities, and he didn’t want the residents scattered over the earth. He wanted to abandon God’s instructions to fill the earth and establish a New World Order (an anti-God world government and world religion). One city that Nimrod built was named Babel (a word that is also translated Babylon), and it is sometimes called “the city of Satan.” Nimrod started constructing a tower (calledthe Tower of Babel) so people could go to heaven their way, not God’s way (Gen. 11). God is not fooled, He is in control, He confused their language so they could not understand each other, and they scattered over all the earth. This eventually led to theformation of sovereign nations with borders. There was a second attempt to establish a New World Order in the days of King Nebuchadnezzar. It took 3 times (between about 606 and 586 B.C.), but Nebuchadnezzar eventuallyconquered Israel and Jerusalem. He captured many Jews, including Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and he took them back to Babylon. Shortly after he captured them, Nebuchadnezzar had a dream that troubled him. It was a Gentile timeline (Times of the Gentiles; a period when Jerusalem would be under the control of Gentile empires) from Babylon to the coming of a Rock that would fillthe whole earth (the Second Coming and Millennial reign of Jesus). The statue had a head of gold, chest and arms of silver, belly and thigh of brass, the upper legs were iron, the lower legs would break into pieces, they would reunite andbe mixed with clay in the feet (Dan. 2). Daniel interpreted the dream for him: Babylon would be replaced by a second kingdom (Medes and Persians), the second kingdom would be replaced by a third kingdom (Greece),the third kingdom would be replaced by a fourth kingdom (the Roman Empire), the fourth kingdom would break into pieces (nations; France, UK, Spain, etc.), the pieces would reunite at the end of the age and be joined by others (EU plus other nations), and aRock would destroy them when history reaches the tip of the toes. About 16-20 years passed, and Nebuchadnezzar never forgot his troubling dream. He didn’t want Babylon to be replaced by the second kingdom. He hoped Daniel’s interpretationwas wrong and Babylon would last forever. He decided to build a statue like the one in his dream, but it would be made of gold from the top of its head to the tip of its toes (no silver, brass, Iron, or clay). Itwould be a rejection of the idea that the kingdoms of silver, brass, Iron, and Iron plus clay would ever come into being. It would signify that Daniel’s God-given interpretation would not come to pass and it would promote a coming New World Order and a newworld religion. Nebuchadnezzar scheduled a dedication ceremony, gathered leaders from all over his kingdom, and ordered them to bow down and worship his statue. To make a long story short, Nebuchadnezzar’s New World Order failed, Babylon was conquered by the Medes and Persians, and Daniel’s interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dreamhas been fulfilled exactly as prophesied up to this point. According to the Bible, there will be a third New World Order, and among other things, it is called Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and Abominations of theEarth (Rev. 17-18). Good prophecy teachers disagree over whether the prophecy is literal (ancient Babylon will literally be rebuilt) or allegorical (Babylon is the USA, New York City, etc.),but they all agree that a Satanic New World Order is coming, and it will be destroyed by God (The Ten Kings will destroy the global religion, and Jesus will have the Antichrist and False Prophet cast into the Lake of Fire). Those who promote the New World Order today are not great men. They are failures who desire to hide from the One who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb (Rev.6:17). Here are some articles that seem to indicate that the Tribulation Period is close. One, concerning a departing from the faith at the end of the age:on Feb. 4, 2024, it was reported that 90 Catholic clergymen, scholars, and authors, have called upon all Catholic Cardinals and Bishops to oppose Pope Francis’ policy that allows priests to bless same-sex marriages. The group also called upon these officials to “ask directly the pope to urgently withdraw this unfortunate document, which is in contradiction with both Scripture and theuniversal and uninterrupted Tradition of the Church.” (My opinion:Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth will deliberately and knowingly contradict Scripture.) (FYI: A pastor friend of mine is concerned about terrorists comingacross America’s border with Mexico, but he believes God may be causing many Hispanics to come to the U.S. because God wants them to hear the gospel and be saved before it is too late. My friend believes that many Hispanics think they are saved because theirparents were Catholic, but people are not saved because of what denomination their parents belonged to. My friend believes that the Hispanics that are coming to this country are a great opportunity for Christians to create and support Hispanic ministries toreach them for Jesus.) Two, concerning Elon Musk’s implantation of a Neuralink chip ina human brain: a reader sent me an article (no information on source) that said, “The promise of transhumanism is the exact same promise the serpent gave to Eve in the Garden: Godlike intelligence and eternal life. You can become a god and live forever.” “And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die [eternal life]: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shallbe as gods, knowing good and evil” [Godlike intelligence] (Gen. 3:4-5). Three, concerning wars and rumors of wars and the decline of America:on Jan. 27, 2024, Iran-backed militias launched a drone attack on a U.S. base in Jordan, killed 3 U.S. troops, and injured dozens more (shrapnel proves the drone was manufactured in Iran). Pres. Biden said the U.S. will respond at a time and in the manner of our choosing. Three days later, on Jan. 30, 2024, a drone attack in Jordan injured about 40 Arizona National Guard troops (some just cuts and bruises, others traumatic brain injuries, threetransferred to a large hospital, one critical, 34 able to return to duty). Two days later, on Feb. 1, 2024, U.S. Sec. of Defense Lloyd Austin said the U.S. is preparing to take significant action in response to the death of 3 U.S. troops that werekilled in Jordan. The next day, on Feb. 2, 2024, Iran-back militias vowed to keep striking U.S. troops in Iraq, and Pres. Biden and Defense Sec. Austin were still pondering what to do. Following the arrival of the bodies of 3 deceased soldiers at Dover Air Force Base on Feb. 2. 2024, officials said the U.S. attacked more than 85 targets at 4 sites in Iraqand 3 sites in eastern Syria; none in Iran where the drone that killed the troops was made and some of the killers’ financing originated. On Feb. 2, 2024, it was reported that the White House notified Iraq of the attacks and is fully aware that Iraq probably notified Iran, and most of the terrorists probablywent into hiding before they happened. There are accusations that Biden waited 5 days before he attacked to give the terrorists plenty of time to prepare and leave. On Feb. 3, 2024, Iran said most of the fighters and military personnel had left the targeted sights and there was not much damage, but they do not want to expand the war.Iraq reported 16 deaths including civilians and significant damage. Syria reported 23 deaths. On Feb. 4, 2024, Iran said the attacks were a strategic mistake, and they would have no impact except other than increasing the tension and instability in the region. On Feb. 4, 2024, Iranian-backed terrorists used a drone to attack a military base in Syria that houses U.S. troops. No U.S. troops were killed, but 6 Kurdish fighters whowere U.S. allies were killed. Four, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on Feb. 2, 2024, it was reported: • That Hezbollah in Lebanon has launched more than 1,000 attacks on northern Israel since the Israel-Hamas war began on Oct. 7, 2024. • 80,000 citizens in northern Israel have left their homes. • At least 427 houses have been damaged. • 80 houses have suffered a direct hit. Many Israeli tanks, Jeeps, Humvees, and other military vehicles are now moving toward Israel’s border with Lebanon. Five, concerning world government and a borderless world: on Feb.1, 2024, Biden signed an executive order to impose financial and travel sanctions on 4 Jews living in the West Bank that have been accused of extremist violence against Palestinians, but to date, he has done nothing to Iran whose proxies have killed and injuredU.S. troops in Jordan). (My opinion:If Biden can sign an executive order to impose travel sanctions on Jews in the West Bank, he can sign an executive order to impose travel sanctions on illegal aliens and terrorists coming across America’s border with Mexico.) (More:On Feb. 2, 2024, Elon Musk said the strategy behind Biden’s open border policy is “1. Get as many illegals in the country as possible. 2. Legalize them to create a permanent majority – a one-party state.” Six, concerning the decline of America and two sets of laws inthe U.S.: 155 Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives (75% of their members) voted against deporting illegal aliens that commit Social Security fraud and/or drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Seven, concerning deceit and a population reduction on earth:a recently released extensive peer-reviewed study of Pfizer’s and Moderna’s vaccines by independent qualified scientists found that for every 100,000 vaccinations, two lives were saved and 27 people died (for every life saved, about 14 people died). Mat Staver, founder of Liberty Council said, “The FDA and the CDC are supposed to protect the people, but they have become the lapdog of the pharmaceutical industry. Thismust change.” Eight, concerning the Temple Mount: archaeologists that have beensifting through dirt that was removed from the Temple Mount have found two small weights that precede the Muslim conquest of Jerusalem. One of the weights has a cross on the back and that is evidence of Christian activity on the Temple Mount before the Muslimsarrived. Nine, concerning the sacrifice of a Red Heifer without blemish:on Passover 2024, here is a link to an excellent video by Michael Samuel Smith (Southwest Radio Church) that I highly recommend (about 36 min.). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Plu8rW72SHU Ten, concerning miracles: on Feb. 4, 2024, it was reported thatabout 6 weeks ago, a battalion of Israeli troops was advancing in Gaza, sunset was approaching, and the soldier in the rear turned east toward Jerusalem to pray. When he turned to pray, he saw a Hamas terrorist with an RPG in his hands coming up out of a tunnelthat the Israeli troops had missed. The Israeli soldier fired, then some of his comrades fired, and they dropped the Hamas terrorist before he could get off a shot. The Israeli soldier’s obedience to God at prayer time probably saved many lives. Eleven, concerning an increase in the frequency and intensityof natural disasters at the end of the age: 8 counties in southern California are under a state of emergency for heavy rain, hurricane-force wind gusts of 60-90 mph, flooding, downed trees, mudslides, and loss of electricity. Twelve, concerning an increase in rain in Israel at the end ofthe age: Israel has had rain in the north and the south 14 days in a row for the first time in more than 30 years, and the rain is expected to keep coming. The water level in the Sea of Galilee is up more than 10 inches, and it expected to keep rising. Thirteen, concerning an increase in the frequency and intensityof natural disasters at the end of the age: currently, hurricanes are rated from 1-5 (weakest to strongest). On Feb. 6, 2024, it was reported that scientists say hurricanes are growing more intense, and they need to add a Category 6 to the wind scale. Here is a daily update on some of the events related to the Israel-Hamas war. Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024 (Day 117): The sixty-second day of the resumed war. • Netanyahu said, “There is a lot of noise in the media about the efforts to get more hostages released, so I want to make it clear: We are working on another plan for the releaseof our hostages, but I stress: Not at any cost. I have red lines, among them: We will not end the war, we will not remove the IDF from the Strip, and we will not release thousands of terrorists.” • Netanyahu called for an end to the UNRWA because “the UNRWA is totally infiltrated with Hamas.” Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024 (Day 118): The sixty-third day of the resumed war. • S. officials have confirmed that plans have been approved for a series of strikes over a number of days against targets — including Iranian personnel and facilities — insideIraq and Syria. • The head of the UNRWA said, “If the funding remains suspended, we will most likely be forced to shut down our operations by the end of February – not only in Gaza but also acrossthe region.” • Israel said Hamas has been routed out of its stronghold at Khan Younis. • Israel believes Hamas is beginning to run low on ammunition and rockets. • Israel is considering an attack on Hamas in Rafah, a city on Gaza’s border with Egypt. This could cause refugees and terrorists to flee into Egypt and break Israel’s peace treatywith Egypt. • Iraq furiously condemned the U.S. attack on Iranian-backed forces in Iraq as a violation of its sovereignty. (FYI: Know that Egypt, Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon are mentioned inPsa. 83, and all are mentioned in this article.) • The movement by Israeli citizens to block humanitarian aid into Gaza is growing because much of the aid winds up in the hands of Hamas who continues to hold hostages. Friday, Feb. 2, 2024 (Day 119): The sixty-fourth day of the resumed war. • An Israeli attack near Damascus killed 3 terrorists affiliated with Iran. • According to the Wall Street Journal, the UNRWA had 30,000 employees in the West Bank, Syria, Jordan, and Gaza, and 10% (3,000 employees) are Hamas accomplices (Israel said 190UNRWA staff members are hardened Hamas militants). • Hamas said it will respond very soon to a proposal that includes extended pauses in the fighting in Gaza and phased exchanges of Hamas-held hostages for Palestinians imprisonedin Israel. • Because of concern in Saudi Arabia about threats from Iran and the Saudis’ desire to get a defense agreement with the U.S., the Saudis have informed the U.S. they are willingto sign a normalization agreement with Israel when the Israel-Hamas war is over, and they will not require Israel to take concrete steps to create a Palestinian State (a non-binding political agreement will be enough). UPDATE: Within hours, Saudi Arabia’sforeign ministry clarified that this was not the case – that there must be two things: “an end to the conflict in Gaza; and a clear, credible, time-bound path to the establishment of a Palestinian state.” Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024 (Day 120): The sixty-fifth day of the resumed war. • Israel said it will attack terrorists in Rafah this weekend. UN and EU officials are panicking. Israel said they will try to work with Egypt and help the Palestinians escapeto the north instead of south into Egypt. • S. and UK jets attacked at least 30 Houthi targets in Yemen. Iran denounced the attacks, and the Houthis vowed a response. FYI: God does not send anyoneto Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6). Finally, are you Rapture Ready? If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believethat Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this. duck_daymond@yahoo.com
