Americans paying dearly for Biden Admin profiteering - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com The Biden Administration is doubling down on its policy to force Americans to buy expensive electric or hybrid cars despite the technology being unaffordable to most. Meantime,all of America is suffering from high fuel prices and the resulting hyperinflation on food and consumer goods. Joe Biden has tirelessly worked since his first day in office to make good his campaign pledge to a climate activist in New Hampshire on Sept. 6,2019, “I guarantee you we are going to end fossil fuel and I am not going to cooperate with them, OK?” Biden stopped the Keystone pipeline, rejoined the Paris Climate Accord making fuel production more costly because of unnecessary regulations, and cut backon oil and gas leases. In a June 14 letter to oil company executives, Biden blamed oil companies for price gouging Americans during time of war. Biden claimed that oil company profits have tripledsince he took office. He showed a chart that indicated refining prices and profit margins sharply increasing since he took office. Then Biden said in his letter, “There is no question that Vladimir Putin is principally responsible for the intense financialpain the American people and their families are bearing.” He also blamed the COVID pandemic. And then he demanded that oil refiners increase their production. Kind of hard to do when he has limited the drilling of oil to refine. This letter appears to be arabbit trail to divert America’s attention from Biden’s real goal of pushing fuel prices higher to force Americans to buy electric cars. It has been his plan all along to end fuel production. In a 2020 Democratic Party primary debate on CNN, Biden said, “No more subsidies for the fossil fuel industry. No moredrilling including offshore. No ability for the oil industry to continue to drill period. It ends. ”On May 24 during a press conference in Japan, Biden said: “[When] it comes to the gas prices, we’re going through an incredible transition that is taking placethat, God willing, when it’s over, we’ll be stronger and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over.” On June 10, Biden’s special envoy for Climate Change John Kerry said there’s no need to drill for more oil and impliedthat anybody who disagrees should be censored, “We have to prevent a false narrative from entering into this.” Biden’s Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said higher gas prices were a compelling case for buying electric cars, “If you filled up your EV (electric vehicle) and you filledup your gas tank with gasoline, you would save $60 per fill-up by going electric rather than using gasoline but it’s a very compelling case.” Granholm also admitted that she had recently served as director of an electric car company and held millions in thefirm’s stock. People looking how to stand against the tyranny of local, state and federal government need look no further than the courageous parents and teachers who engaged the LoudounCounty, Va., school board for their anti-American, anti-student, and anti-education actions. Two Christian teachers stood before the school board and exposed these policies. One was fired. The other resigned. The brouhaha began over a policy trampling religiousrights requiring teachers to use LGBTQ promoted pronouns and students using bathrooms of the sex they �identified with.� Then a young lady was raped by a boy in the girls� restroom, the school board cover up and denial of it, the Biden Administration sayingit would sic the FBI on dissenting parents for being domestic terrorists, and a former president saying it�s much ado about nothing. Loudoun County then became an issue in the state�s governor�s race. Democrat Terry McAuliffe said in a debate that parents should not tell schools what they can teach. Hisopponent, Glenn Younkin disagreed. Enter former president Barak Obama campaigning for McAuliffe. Obama, instead of empathizing with the girl who was raped, referred generally to the Loudoun County controversy, saying, �We don�t have time to be wasted on thesephony trumped-up culture wars, this fake outrage, the right-wing media�s pedals to juice their ratings.� The boy was convicted but sentencing was delayed because he was charged with sexually assaulting another student at another Loudoun County school. Thenthe National School Boards Association asked the Biden Administration to treat dissenting parents the same as domestic terrorists. Biden Attorney General Merrick Garland immediately demanded the FBI discourage, identify and prosecute threatening and dissenting parents. When it was exposed, all was embarrassinglyrecanted. Now, in Loudoun County, a George Soros-funded prosecutor was removed by a judge for deliberately misleading the court to reduce a criminal�s sentence. This is an example of how when people stand in the gap, the Lord can expose the treachery of aschool board, a gubernatorial candidate, a former president, a national association, the court system, the Attorney General, and the current president. If Biden was truly committed to lowering gas prices,he would reverse his failed policies and return to the model of American energy independence. Instead, he is putting a band aid on the problem by asking Congress for a 90-day federal fuel tax holiday (18 cents a gallon) and browbeating states to do the same,saying claims that his policies reduced fuel production and raised gas prices is �nonsense.� In remarks on gas prices, Biden demanded that oil refiners up production. Then he contradicted himself saying the US is �setting records� in energy production andthe economy is booming. Let�s be honest. Within hours of taking office, Joe Biden issued Executive Orders, such as cancelling the Keystone pipeline and ending oil exploration and leases on federallands. That Executive Order turned the United States from an energy independent nation into an energy dependent country. Within a month, gasoline prices shot up 33 cents a gallon. Overall, gasoline prices have jumped from $2.46 a gallon when Biden first tookoffice to $4.94 a gallon Wednesday. By February 24, when Russia invaded Ukraine, the US average gas price was $3.54, well on its record-breaking trajectory. To blame Russia�s invasion, oil refining and gas stations for these prices and not take responsibilityfor failed energy policy is irresponsible and delusional. Biden said, �Just look at the facts: Since the start of the war in Ukraine this year, gas prices have risen by almost $2.00 a gallon in the United States, and sometimes more,around the world.� The fact is that gas went up by $1.40 since the invasion and before the invasion it had increased $1.08 per gallon. Then Biden implied that American sanctions and weapons actions stopped Russia from advancing. He said �America could notstand by and the West could not have stood by�although some suggested at the time�and just watch Putin�s tanks roll into Ukraine and seize a sovereign country. If we did stand by, Putin wouldn�t have stopped. Putin would�ve kept going, and we�d face an evensteeper price.� Last I heard, Russia is still invading Ukraine, and he has no intent to stop. Biden�s solution is more government action to correct the crisis he created with his initial government action. He wants to force American�s to buy electric cars. He said, �Let�s lower the price of electric vehicles so we never have to pay at the pump in the first place.� But �we� will still pay for the electric, which is produced by nuclear, coal and fossil fuels and the electric car batteries require other natural resources,sometimes mined with slave labor. A three-month hiatus on the federal gas tax only helps a small amount and it causes people to be even more dependent on big government. The FBI grows out of the need to provide agencies across the country with information to identify known criminals. The 1901 assassination of President William McKinley createda perception that the United States was under threat from anarchists. The Departments of Justice and Labor had been keeping records on anarchists for years, but President Theodore Roosevelt wanted more power to monitor them. During the �War on Crime� of the 1930s, FBI agents apprehended or killed a number of notorious criminals who committed kidnappings, bank robberies, and murders throughoutthe nation, including John Dillinger, �Baby Face� Nelson, Kate �Ma� Barker, Alvin �Creepy� Karpis, and George �Machine Gun� Kelly. The FBI doesn�t have a spotless record. During World War II, thousands of Japanese Americans were put into internment camps. On February 19, 1942, President Franklin Rooseveltissued Executive Order 9066, authorizing the removal of Japanese Americans from the West Coast. Anyone who refused to go into confinement was arrested by FBI Agents. During the 1950s and 1960s, the FBI was mostly on the wrong side of the civil rights movement. FBI officials became increasingly concerned about the influence of civil rightsleaders, whom they believed either had communist ties or were unduly influenced by communists. The FBI has been criticized for inaction on solving the murders of George W. Lee, Emmett Till, and other blacks in the South. The Bureau sent out anonymous �suicideletters� to Black leaders, which included the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Neither executive privilege nor the oversight power of Congress is explicitly mentioned in the United States Constitution. However, the Supreme Court of the United Stateshas ruled that executive privilege and congressional oversight each are a consequence of the doctrine of the separation of powers, derived from the supremacy of each branch in its own area of Constitutional activity. If Congress or the courts could demand any executive-branch communication at any time, the executive would no longer be fundamentally equal in power to the other two. Thepresident couldn�t trust his executive-branch employees if everything he said to them could be made public. Executive Privilege suffered a huge blow when the FBI helped take down Michael Cohen. He served as an attorney for U.S. President Donald Trump from 2006 to 2018. Cohen wasa vice-president of the Trump Organization and the personal counsel to Trump and was often described by the media as Trump�s �fixer.� The FBI raided Cohen�s office at the law firm of Squire Patton Boggs, as well as his home and his hotel room in the Loews Regency Hotel in New York City. They were lookingfor dirt and found a few minor offenses. Once Cohen pleaded guilty to tax evasion and campaign finance violations, he became the left�s stool pigeon. It was troubling to see the president�s former attorney on TV telling Congress that Donald J. Trump is theevilest man who ever lived. Former White House trade adviser Peter Navarro was the latest target of the feds. FBI agents arrested Navarro at Reagan National Airport last Friday on a pair of misdemeanorcharges that he acted in contempt of Congress by defying a subpoena from the Jan. 6 House select committee. The vast majority of news stories failed to mention that executive privilege was Navarro�s reason for not complying with the subpoena. Navarro lives a few blocks away from the FBI headquarters. Agents waited until he was at Reagan National Airport so they could arrest him in a true Nazi thug manner. Whenthe FBI arrested Roger stone, they arrived at 6:00 AM with AR-15s and a CNN film crew in tow. The Bible frequently praises government leaders as His servants. When they look after the needs of the people, the FBI is a valuable resource for law enforcement. Today, theFBI has become an extension of the democratic party. The Trump administration had to deal with one crisis after another from politically motivated investigations. The Biden administration has become an even bigger mess. The FBI is still largely focused onTrump and the Jan 6th protesters. Corruption is spreading throughout the financial system because of the lack of oversight. We�ve lost all respect for fairness and trust in the implementation of the law. The ability to use government agencies to go after political enemies is the fast track to tyranny.Someday we will wake up and find that America has turned into a third-world nation. �For he is God�s servant for your good. Unless, of course, you are Joe Biden. Biden was out saving fossil fuel consumption and reducing his carbon footprintwith a bike ride. The media and the White House downplayed the incident much like they do when he trips and falls going up the tarmac platform toAir Force One. Maybe it�s not fair to make fun of the President, but all this forgetting and tripping and falling seems very symbolic to Biden�s time in office, which is a failure at hyper-speedon behalf of every American citizen. We are paying record high prices for gasoline�something that Biden says is a good thing because it will make us buy electric cars. Well, food prices are also at the highest we�ve seen since Jimmy �Crater� Carter 40 yearsago, another president whose policies tanked the US economy, caused gas lines, nearly bankrupted the farming industry, and put a big hurt on the people who elected him. Do you see the pattern? Like Carter, Biden sees no end to the inflation and tells us wejust have to ride it out. Most of us would say that it�s downright stupid to force gas prices to such a level that it is putting people in poverty just to drive to work. Most people think it stupidto purposely cause every needed consumer good, such as food, to be something that the elite can only afford. Most people would wonder about the sanity of a person who puts illegals ahead of citizens. Most people might question why law-abiding citizens havetheir rights to self-defense and personal property taken away when criminals are allowed to shoot, burn and pillage at will. Most people have enough common sense to not want their children indoctrinated with confusing sexual perversion and groomed for childpredators. But then again, most people remember how to ride a bike. When you look at the big picture, Biden and his band of World Economic Forum corporations, media and government hacks are not stupid. They are intentionally forcing an anti-American,anti-Liberty agenda down our throats. Who locks down and quarantine�s healthy people? Who ends drilling rights, pipelines and oil production, then blames shortages and high prices on the producers? Who promotes behavior that increases violent crime, then makesthe law-abiding pay for it?
