BIDEN WATCH: 10.7.23 - Big alarm, no fire

Big alarm, no fire - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com US Representative Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) allegedly set off a fire alarm in the Canon House Office Building to prevent a vote on the funding bill that would keep the governmentoperating. There are several things wrong with this. First, the Democrats have been blaming Republicans for blocking efforts to prevent a government shut-down, but they are the ones who wanted to delay a vote to avoid the shut-down. In desperation, Bowmanpulls a fire alarm to delay the vote. When he’s caught, he claims that in his rush to vote, he didn’t realize that he would trigger a fire alarm if he pulled the fire alarm, then he tells reporters that he thought the alarm would open the door. But it getseven more stupid. Breitbart reporter Matthew Boyle did some checking around and multiple sources said that Bowman “ripped down two signs warning a second floor door in the Cannon House OfficeBuilding was for emergency use only before pulling the fire alarm and running out through a different door on a different floor.” Boyle reports, “In the photos of the double doors with glass windows, there are clearly two giant red signs on the door—they bothsay “EMERGENCY EXIT ONLY—PUSH UNTIL ALARM SOUNDS (3 SECONDS) DOOR WILL UNLOCK IN 30 SECONDS.” There is also another sign on a stand in front of the door that makes it clear this is an “EMERGENCY EXIT ONLY.”” Bowman tried to get out the door. When it didn’topen, he pulled the fire alarm. When the fire alarm went off, he turned and ran down the hall and out another door. Now Bowman is circulating talking points to his Democrat colleagues in an effort to prevent the House from expelling or censoring him. In doing so, he is referring to House Republicans as “Nazis.” Bowman’s talking points, a copy obtained by Politico, say, “Republicans need to instead focus their energy on the Nazi members of their party before anything else. There are multiple insurrectionist supporters in Congress and more who supported a coup and support Trumpʼs Big Lie. That's what they should be focusedon. Instead their focus on Rep. Bowman is an attempt to minimize January 6th.” Instead of taking responsibility, Bowman is shifting the blame to Republicans. He pulled a fire alarm when there was no fire and is blaming it on “Nazi” Republicans. Then he triedto say the talking points were not authorized by him. The US Capitol Police are investigating. Right. “Title 22-1319. False alarms and false reports; hoax” of the DC Code says “It shall be unlawful for any person or persons towillfully or knowingly give a false alarm of fire within the District of Columbia, and any person or persons violating the provisions of this subsection shall, upon conviction, be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and be punished by a fine not more than the amountset forth in Title 22-3571.01 (up to a $1,000) or by imprisonment for not more than 6 months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.” He’s admitted to setting off the alarm, but he’s saying that Nazi Republicans made him do it. The Democrats are standing byhim. Proverbs 10:23 says, “It is as sport to a fool to do mischief.” And so it is with Bowman and those who defend him…say it with me…Stupidocrisy.biden watch: -------------------------------- Straight, but uncomfortable, talk - Bill Wilson www.dailyjot.com The aftermath of a handful of Republicans and all the Democrats in the US House of Representatives removing Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) in a historical vote is one of confusion.Democrats are being Democrats. They will vote for most anything that disrupts the Republicans. And Republicans are being Republicans, unable to find unity on much of anything. This is the case where eight congressmen changed the course of history. It shouldbe an object lesson to all that if you believe in what you are doing and take a stand, even against seemingly insurmountable odds, you may be rewarded with success. Hopefully, the ousting of McCarthy will wake up Republicans and spur them to be a true oppositionparty. For decades, Americans have seen Republicans in Congress talk a conservative, middle America game. They make great proclamations about sanctity of life, traditional marriage, fiscal responsibility, socialist healthcare, bodily autonomy, energy independence, freedom of speech, freedom of self-defense, religious freedom, voting integrity, border security, and the list goes on and on. But even when in the majority, Republicans havebeen unable to slow the Democrat juggernaut on the bulk of these issues. Its gotten so bad that the current Democratic Administration openly supports public school-sanctioned sexual grooming of our kids and redistributing multi-billions of our tax money tofrivolous Democrat causes like climate change, Ukraine, and electric cars. Republicans in Congress talk a good game. They tell us what we want to hear. They wrap their words in God and country and bundle them in the flag. We go out and vote, putthem in office and then they fold like lawn chairs in a summer breeze. Folks, we didnt get to record debt, record inflation, high gas prices, high food prices, racial disruption, COVID lockdowns, our religious rights and Constitutional rights being diminishedto the point of persecution just by Democrat Marxist lunacy. We got there, in a large part, by Republican ineptitude in talking a good game, but not playing to win. Essentially, big hat, no cattle. For too long, Republicans have been complacent because theyknow God-fearing conservatives wont vote for the socialist party. Just look at the judicial system. Democrats are misusing the law to persecute their opposition, yet Republicans sit around and wring their hands rather than stand againstthis coup of Marxist hegemony. Feckless doesnt describe what we have witnessed. What eight congressmen did to oust McCarthy shook things up. Maybe it got these no-doers attention. We are sailing perilous seas. Its going to take bold action to right thegood ship America. My prayer is that in the days and months ahead that Republicans will actually unify and match their deeds with their words. For us peasants in the hinterland with a vote in our hand, may we discern and hold accountability. As Christ saidin Matthew 7:19-20, Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them. Time to build the fire. ------------------------------------
