(James 4:1�2) The fallen nature, which came when sin was introduced to humanity, started a war that rages to this day and is intensifying by the minute, according to the hourly news reportsthat constantly bombard us. Threats of war ebb and flow and reach, at times, the very brink of exploding into full-blown nuclear devastation. But that hasn�t happened to this point. Those of my age remember the Cuban missile crisis of 1962 in which the US and Soviet Union faced off. I certainly remember that, as a 20-year-old, there was genuine fear,even by those of us so young at the time. Sounder thinking prevailed, and Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev and US President John F. Kennedy pulled back from that fatal moment when the Doomsday Clock must have beenone second from midnight. Or did they? Did these leaders of the enslaved and of the free world save the planet to fight instead in a thousand conventional conflicts into the future? Or did physical salvation of everyone on the planet come from another source? To answer His disciples� question��What will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the world (age)?��Jesus said: And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. (Matthew 24:6) I can�t remember when fear of world war has been more prevalent than in this present hour. The fear is being expressed not so much by average people of the world, but withinthe highest echelons of world diplomacy. The following somewhat puts this all into perspective. According to media reporting on documents leaked from the German Ministry of Defense, European leaders are preparing for a �hybrid� Russian attack in Eastern Europe. The firststage, dubbed �Alliance Defense 2025,� would start this February with Russia mobilizing an additional 200,000 soldiers. Fox News reported on Tuesday that classified German documents outlined how the militaries of several European countries are planning toprepare for an offensive by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The story was first reported in the BILD newspaper based on information obtained from the German Ministry of Defense. The �Alliance Defense 2024� could start in February as Russia deploys about200,000 soldiers in response to Western financial support for Ukraine drying up, according to the report� Newsweek reported on Tuesday that Margarita Simony an, editor-in-chief of the Russian-state-owned broadcaster RT, predicted that World War III will �definitely� break outin the Middle East. �And now the third world war,� Simonyan posted to Twitter on Monday evening. �Whether a world war will break out now or a little later depends on whether Washington believesthat it will be useful to it now, before the elections, or vice versa. They are there, and war-like tempers are ina rage. Iran continues to develop its nuclear weapons program while threatening both Israel and America. It uses proxies to attack ships in the Red Sea and other places. Hezbollahmakes noises of joining in the assaults on Israel. Lebanon threatens to join the fray for what is perceived as Israeli intrusions, even though attacks emanate from Lebanese territories. Turkey�s dictator talks in terms of war rhetoric as he observably movesTurkey into the coalition formed against the increasingly hated Jewish state. In Asia, China is positioned to assault Taiwan, using provocative tactics to intimidate that state, which China considers its own. Vladimir Putin is stepping up military action against Ukraine, while angered over Western�particularly US�funding of the Ukrainian military. There is no weapon ever invented�including nuclear weapons�that hasn�t ultimately been used in war. The thermonuclear weapons developed since the atomic bombs used to endWorld War II are exponentially greater in power than those two bombs that killed more than one hundred thousand people. So is World War III�a thermonuclear holocaust�about to destroy us all? Again we look at Jesus� words: And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. (Matthew 24:6) Further, we are assured by Jesus Himself that the world will not end in thermonuclear cataclysm. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect�s sake those days shall be shortened. (Matthew 24:22) So, as Jesus Himself said, �Let not your heart be troubled��that is, if you are a child of God. Despite the rumors of war raging from every quarter, there will be no all-outnuclear World War III this side of the Rapture. And even following the Rapture, God will prevent Satan�s attempts to destroy humankind. You don�t want to be here when Satan�s efforts to do just that will be at their horrendous worst during the Tribulation. Netanyahu what to do, and when he refused, they have tried to bring an end to Netanyahu’s government. Earlier this month, Pres. Biden sent U.S. Sec. of State Blinken to several nations supposedly to keep the Israel-Hamas war from spreading. In Saudi Arabia, Blinken got an agreement from Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman to agree to normalize relations with Israel in exchange for accepting the Two-State Solution. Blinken then went to Israel with the deal in his hand, but Netanyahu rejected it. At one of Israel’s military bases, Netanyahu said: “The war continues, and it will continue until the end, until we complete all our goals: The return of the abductees, the elimination of Hamas, and the assurance that Gazawill no longer pose a threat to Israel. Let there be no mistake; we will persist in the fight on land, at sea, and in the air until complete victory.” These events triggered reports that Biden is upset; he hasn’t talked to Netanyahu in about a month, and he is once again trying to get Netanyahu removed from office. One report said the Biden administration is beginning to make plans for what it will do on the day after Netanyahu is out of office. Another report said Blinken met secretly with members of Netanyahu’s war cabinet to try to undermine Netanyahu. On Jan. 18, 2024, it was reported that Netanyahu said: •“Israel must have security control over the entire territory west of the Jordan River.” •“I put the brakes on the attempt to coerce us to a reality that would endanger the state of Israel.” •“We will not settle for anything short of an absolute victory.” (More:On Jan. 19, 2024, it was reported that a rift broke out in Israel’s war cabinet, and there was criticism of how Netanyahu is managing the war. Biden and many others are willing to risk the security of Israel for peace with the Muslims. The Muslims claim to be a religion of peace, but they believe they must conquer the entire world for Allah before there can be peace. They also believe theycan make peace treaties and break them if doing that will advance their goal of world domination. The international community believes they can divide Israel and get peace and safety. The Bible says God will not allow that. His judgment will fall, and therewill be no peace on earth until the Second Coming of Jesus.) (My opinion:Israel must stop relying on the U.S., the EU, or any other earthly entity and start relying on God. And by relying on God, I do not mean rebuild the Temple and resume the animal sacrifices. I mean repent of their sins and accept a Jew called Jesus as theirMessiah.) Here are more events that appear to indicate that history is at the end of the age. One, concerning world government: on Jan. 17, 2024, it was reportedthat the World Health Organization (WHO) Sec. Gen. Ghebreyesus told the World Economic Forum (WEF) that Disease X (an unidentified, non-existent, future disease) will happen. He said it is a matter of “when,” not “if.” He doesn’t know when it will happen, but companies are already working on a vaccine to treat this disease. He said it would be a Covid-like disease, and we could consider Covid the first Disease X. (Update:According to End Time Headlines, on Jan. 17, 2024, WHO Director Gen. Ghebreyesus urged the nations to sign the International Pandemic Treaty by May 24, 2024, so the world can prepare for Disease X. He said preparing for terrible diseases the world doesn’tknow about is a global interest, not a national interest.) Two, concerning world government and world religion: on Jan. 17,2024, following a speech that Pope Francis sent to the WEF24 meeting in Davos, Catholic Archbishop Vigano released a statement saying: •Pope Francis supports the globalists and the New World Order. •Pope Francis is a servant of the globalist elite (characters who openly declare that they want to reduce the world’s population through wars, famines, and organized pestilence). •What would Jesus have said at the WEF? Not what Pope Francis said. •Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of the Antichrist. (My opinion:I do not believe the Antichrist will rule from Rome, but the False Prophet will support the Antichrist, and the False Prophet may come from Rome.) We are on the way to a new order, so we are between orders.” This sounds like the Biden administration believes the world is in atransition period between the old world order and the New World Order; world government.) Guterres: •Called for global governance in a new multi-polar global order (in a June 26, 2020, speech, he said he wants global governance with teeth). •This is needed because nations (today it’s Russia and Gaza) are “ignoring international law, trampling on the Geneva Conventions, and even violating the United Nations Charter.”  Four, concerning a godless world government headed by an antichristleader: this week, Laura J. Wellington, an award-winning author and blogger who attended the recent WEF meeting, wrote: •I hardly see leaders. What I see is a bunch of egomaniacs on a mission to ruin our planet. •The decision to leave God out of the event, focusing instead on his creation itself (Mother Earth, Climate Change, etc.), is purposeful. •God has dealt with this type before, and he will again. They never win. •Imagine all the good these people could do for humanity if, in fact, they weren’t hell-bent on taking it over, throwing God out, and controlling every thought in people’sheads. (Note:Wellington’s comments were prompted by the presentation of a pagan ritual that drew a standing ovation at the WEF meeting. It reminded her of Rom. 1:22-25.) When the next Jewish Temple is built, those who build it and serve there must be descendants of Aaron, and they must be cleansed with the water of purification made with theashes of a red heifer that was pure and unblemished. But for almost 2,000 years, Israel didn’t have one because the Romans destroyed their herd of Red Heifers when they destroyed Israel in 70 A.D. In Sept. 2022, a rancher in Texas had five red heifers that were pure and without blemish, and they were moved from Texas to Israel. On July 16, 2023, it was reported that three of the red heifers were still pure and without blemish, and if just one of these red heifers remained unblemished until early2024, it could be sacrificed on Passover, and its ashes could be used to cleanse priests to build the next Temple and serve there. On Aug. 8, 2023, it was reported that the Israeli government has discretely shifted some funds to prepare for purification services and possibly the construction of a thirdTemple. According to the report, little is being said about this because rebuilding the Temple is an explosive issue. On Jan. 14, 2024, a spokesperson for Hamas was being interviewed on TV, and he said bringing red cows to Israel was the “application of a detestable religious myth” that ignoredand hurt the feelings of the Arabs. Following the arrival of the 5 Red Heifers in Israel, Hamas had warned that they posed a threat to the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount. The Hamas spokesperson seemed to be saying Hamas started the Israel-Hamas war to stop the Jews from sacrificing a Red Heifer and rebuilding the Temple. Six, concerning the decline of the U.S.: on Jan. 18, 2024, itwas reported that the military can no longer meet its recruiting requirements, and it is finding that some white men are refusing to serve in a military that discriminates against white people. Seven, concerning the decline of America: U.S. citizens must showa passport or a valid ID to fly in or out of the U.S.. On Jan. 24, 2024, it was reported that the Biden Administration is seeking ways to let illegal aliens fly without a passport or ID. (My opinion:Biden is trying harder to protect Hamas terrorists and illegal aliens than he is trying to protect Israel and the U.S.) Eight, concerning the decline of the U.S.: on Jan. 19, 2024, itwas reported that First Lady Jill Biden will be sponsoring an Easter Egg decorating contest at the White House, but contestants cannot put religious themes on their eggs (They can’t use anything about Passover, the cross, the resurrection of Jesus, etc.). (Note:Passover and Easter are about the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. It looks like the spirit of antichrist has taken over the White House.) Nine, concerning wars and rumors of wars at the end of the age:on Jan. 18, 2024, prophecy expert Amir Tsarfati listed 8 areas of conflict that are taking place now. •Israel’s Conflict with Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon. •Iraqi Militias’ Conflict with Israel. •Iran’s Conflict with Syria, Iraq, and Pakistan. •Yemen’s Conflict with the US and the UK. •Russia’s Conflict with Ukraine. •China’s Threats Against Taiwan. •Turkey attacks the Kurds. •North Korea Threats Against South Korea. Ten, concerning deceit and corruption in the White House: whilecampaigning for Pres. in 2022, now Pres. Biden said Hunter’s Laptop from Hell was “a bunch of garbage” and a “Russian Plant” that nobody believes. On Jan. 18, 2024, the U.S. Dept. of Justice said that the laptop belonged to Hunter, and it is not Russian disinformation. Eleven, concerning corruption and a stolen election in 2020: twoprofessors (one at the Univ. of Michigan and the other at Auburn Univ.) have proven that Dominion Voting Machines can be hacked, and the votes can be altered. The professors proved this by hacking into a Dominion Voting Machine Tabulator in the presence of a judge in court and changing the vote totals on Jan. 19, 2024. One of the professors issued a report on this in the past (date not given in the article), but the Georgia Sec. of State covered it up until a Federal District Court Judgeunsealed it in June 2023. (Note: The nations will abandon Israel, but God will not, and that will eventually lead to thenation accepting Jesus as the Messiah.) •The Houthis in Yemen promised not to attack Russian and Chinese ships in the Red Sea. Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024 (Day 106): The fifty-first day of the resumed war. •Israeli Jets destroyed a building in Damascus, Syria, that killed five Iranian advisors. Iran said it reserves the right to respond at the appropriate time and place. •There were more attacks in Lebanon, Iraq, and the Red Sea. •There was a massive attack on an airbase in Iraq where hundreds of U.S. troops are stationed. Several U.S. troops were injured. •Israeli troops have discovered a deadly fungus in the Hamas tunnels for which there is no treatment. Some of the hostages have probably been exposed. It is believed to havecaused the death of one Israeli soldier. •Hamas now says it will release the hostages for an end to the war and Israel’s complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip. •About 860,000 Israelis have left their homes in northern Israel. •Biden’s response to the Houthis attacks on ships in the Red Sea has accomplished nothing, so he plans to step it up a little. Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024 (Day 107): The fifty-second day of the resumed war. •An unverified report says more than 25,000 Gazans have been killed, more than 62,000 have been wounded, most of the 2.3 million Gazans displaced. •Israel discovered cages in tunnels that hostages had been kept in. •The U.S. said 2 Navy SEALs who went missing on Jan. 11, 2024, were on a mission to board a boat that was suspected of carrying illegal Iranian weapons, and they are presumeddead. Monday, Jan. 22, 2024 (Day 108): The fifty-third day of the resumed war. •Israel proposed a 2-month pause in all fighting in exchange for the release of all hostages. •The EU plans to hold peace talks with the U.S., UN, Egypt, Jordan, and Arabs, and they are planning to threaten Israel if it refuses to engage them. •21 Israeli soldiers were killed when an explosion caused the collapse of 2 buildings that they were in. •Hamas rejected the Two-State Solution and called for the destruction of Israel. •Israel launched a major attack on Hamas in Khan Younis and killed dozens of members of Yahya Sinwar’s home brigade. Israel believes Sinwar, some of his top assistants, andmany troops may be holed up there, and it could take several days to flush them out. Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024 (Day 109): The fifty-fourth day of the resumed war. •Hezbollah fired 12 missiles at an Israeli Air Force control base, but damage was minimal. •There is progress but no final deal toward the release of the hostages and a month-long ceasefire in Gaza. •The Houthis gave the U.S. and UK staff 30 days to leave Yemen. Overall, U.S. troops in Iraq and Syria have been attacked more than 150 times since October 17th… Iranian-backed militias have mounted more that 150 attacks since Oct. 17 on bases occupied by U.S. troops in Iraq and Syria, according to the Pentagon. The majority of theattacks have been with rockets and one-way attack drones, most of which have been intercepted. When someone attacks your forces more than 150 times, you are at war with them. Anyone that thinks otherwise is just being delusional. In response to Sunday’s attack, Joe Biden told the world that “we will hold all those responsible to account at a time and in a manner of our choosing”… “While we are still gathering the facts of this attack, we know it was carried out by radical Iran-backed militant groups operating in Syria and Iraq,” Biden said in a statement. “Have no doubt – we will hold all those responsible to account at a time and in a manner of our choosing,” he said. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), said in a statement the attacks the U.S. has carried out on Iranian proxies outside Iran “will not deter Iranian aggression,” calling to “strike targets of significance inside Iran.” -Tom Cotton: “The only answer to these attacks must be devastating military retaliation against Iran’s terrorist forces, both in Iran and across the Middle East,” said Sen.Tom Cotton (R-Ark.). “Anything less will confirm Joe Biden as a coward unworthy of being commander-in-chief.” -John Cornyn: Sen. John Cornyn, in a post on the social media site X, said: “Target Tehran,” later specifying that he wants the U.S. to strike Iran’s Islamic RevolutionaryGuard Corps. and its Quds Force branch. Okay, so let’s imagine that Biden does what they want. Would the Iranians respond by launching missiles at U.S. targets in the region? And how would we respond if the Iranians made such a move? When it comes to geopolitics, one must always be thinking several moves ahead. Meanwhile, one of Israel’s most prominent politicians is warning that Iran has become a “legitimate target” for Israeli missiles… Iran is now a “legitimate target” for Israeli missile strikes, one of the country’s most senior ministers has told the Telegraph, raising the prospect of an all-out war withTehran. In a wide-ranging interview, Nir Barkat, Israel’s economy minister, also said Palestinians from the West Bank would never be allowed to work in the country again and wouldbe replaced by more than a quarter of a million imported foreign workers. He also complained that the war in Gaza had not been fought aggressively enough. Those that are urging military strikes against targets inside Iran are assuming that the Iranians only possess conventional weapons. But what if this isn’t true? In fact, for a long time there have been many that have tried to warn us that this isn’t true. The Iranians are not showing us all their cards, and they have been preparing for this showdown for decades. Interestingly, the Iranians just launched three new satellites into space… Iran says it has successfully launched three indigenous satellites into orbit using the Simorgh carrier rocket, marking the first time the country has simultaneously sentthree satellites into space. The satellites launched early on Sunday include Mahda, weighing 32 kg, and two nano-satellites, Keyhan 2 and Hatef 1, of less than 10 kg, sent to a minimum orbit of 450 kilometers(279 miles) and a maximum of 1,100 km (683.5 mi), state media reported, citing the public relations wing of the Defense Ministry. The Simorgh satellite carrier that carried the three satellites to space has been developed by Iran’s Defense Ministry, the ministry statement noted. It is believed that these satellites have been sent into orbit for the purpose of guiding ballistic missiles. We are so close to the unthinkable. Once missiles start flying all over the region, the Middle East will never be the same again. Meanwhile, the Chinese continue to probe Taiwan’s defenses… Taiwan’s defense ministry announced on Saturday that over 30 Chinese warplanes were headed toward its country, in addition to navy ships. Thirty-three aircraft were sent by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army from 6 a.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday, officials said. The aircraft included SU-30 fighters. An apocalyptic conflict in the Middle East would give China the perfect opportunity to try to “reunite” with Taiwan by force. So let’s keep a close eye on the Chinese. And let us not forget about the Russians. Over the weekend, they took even more territory from the Ukrainians. This is a time of “wars and rumors of wars”, and those that are familiar with my work will not be surprised to hear that I believe that things will greatly escalate laterthis year. We should hope for peace, but we should also prepare for war. Just this week, the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken issued a strong warning, saying that the �incredibly volatile� Middle East hasn�t been so dangerous since the 1973Yom Kippur War. That�s quite a statement. The Qatari Minister of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday, whose country has been involved in the hostage negotiations with Hamas, said that regional tensions are �dancing on theedge and ready to boil over.� �The situation is very concerning, and every day it�s getting more concerning,� the Qatari Minister stressed. As we look at the Middle East today, we have to say he�s right. The Middle East is burning. We�re all well aware that last Sunday, one of Iran�s proxies, part of what�s called the Axis of Resistance�which includes militia groups in Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Gaza, andSyria�hit a US military logistics desert outpost in Jordan called �Tower 22.� Three American service members were killed, and dozens were wounded. This finally, it seems, has crossed the line with the current administration. We are now waiting for the US response. There are a lot of different options on the table. There could be direct strikes against Iran, which is probably not likely. There could be attacks on these proxies or againstIranian personnel abroad�assassinations, like when President Trump took out IRGC General Qasem Soleimani. There could be economic measures that are taken. We could also strike some of Iran�s oil infrastructure. Citing an unnamed official, ABC reported this week that �the US response to a drone attack that killed three American service members in Jordan last weekend will be carriedout �over the course of several days� and striking �multiple targets.'� We will have to wait to see what happens. By using all these proxies to attack, Iran is gaining all the benefits of harassing the United States and Israel, but they are not having to pay a direct cost. The US mustmake Iran pay a direct cost. Since October 17, 2023, 10 days after Hamas attacked Israel, the Pentagon has recorded 165 attacks on US personnel in the region. There have been 66 in Iraq, 98 in Syria,and then Sunday�s deadly attack in Jordan. Approximately 80 servicemembers have sustained injuries as a result of these attacks. The US response must be strong and strategic. You and I need to be praying for our leaders and for our troops during this time, as Iran has to bear some cost for what they�re doing. At the same time that the US is responding to these attacks that happened in Jordan, Israel is talking about expanding the conflict beyond the war in Gaza. The Daily Mail published an article that read, �Top Israeli minister says Iran is a �legitimate target� for missile strikes as fears grow of an all-out war between the countries.� �Israel�s economy minister, Nir Barkat, told The Telegraph that Palestinians from the West Bank would never be permitted to work in the country again and imported foreignworkers would take their place,� the Mail described. �He also argued that the war against Hamas has not been aggressive enough.� This is the man that many believe is going to take over Benjamin Netanyahu�s place as the leader of the Likud party in Israel. �Iran is a legitimate target for Israel. They will not get away with it. The head of the snake is Tehran,� Barkat stated. �My recommendation is to adopt the strategy that President Kennedy used in the Cuban missile crisis. What he basically said then was a missile from Cuba will be answered bya missile from Moscow,� the economy minister urged. �And we should very clearly make sure the Iranians understand that they will not get away with using proxies against Israel and sleep good at night if we don�t sleep good at night.� �We believe them when they say they want to destroy Israel� we are not going to allow another Holocaust,� Barkat concluded. Israel is pushing closer towards launching missiles into Iran and also to a full-scale war with Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. The economy minister argued a second war with Israel�s main enemy in Lebanon and Syria, which is Hezbollah, �must be eliminated.� An ABC News headline this week read, �Israel is closer to war with Hezbollah than ever before�� Tens of thousands of regular Israeli troops and sixty thousand reservists have been sent to the northern portion of Israel. Israel has evacuated more than 100,000 people fromthe region. It appears that Israel is planning to go into the southern part of Lebanon to try to eliminate Hezbollah. America wants to avoid a wider war. We hear American leaders say they don�t want this to escalate. However, it looks like Israel does want to escalate in order to take careof the menaces along its border. At the same time that all of this is developing in the Middle East, the Gog Magog alliance is building. Ezekiel 37 talks about Israel being regathered into her land. Afterthis regathering, in Ezekiel 38-39, we are told that a coalition of nations is going to invade Israel. The Israel-Hamas war that started on October 7 of last year is boosting the ties between Russia, Turkey, and Iran�which are the three key nations mentioned in Ezekiel 38.They are mentioned under their ancient names and places. Rosh, Meshech, Tubal, Togarmah, Gomer, and Persia�these are the places today of Russia, Iran, and Turkey. These key nations are developing much closer ties as a result of the Hamas invasion against Israel. Just this week, Turkish President Recep Erdoğan and Iran�s President Ebrahim Raisi met in Ankara, Turkey. In a great irony, you have the number one sponsor of terror in theMiddle East, Iran, meeting with Turkey to discuss how they can �fight against terrorism� in the Middle East. The Jerusalem Post published an opinion piece on Tuesday titled: �Putin�s Russia and the Islamic Republic of Iran�The Geopolitical Tapestry Of Misinformation And ImperialAmbitions.� �It is imperative to recognize the dynamics of regional alliances, especially the relationship between Iran and Russia,� the writers noted. �Increasingly, Tehran [the capitalof Iran] seems to be acting not just as an ally but as a proxy for Putin�s ambitions in the Middle East, similar to how groups like Hamas and Hezbollah serve as proxies for Iran.� This is fascinating. This is the first time I�ve read someone explaining that, while Tehran has its own proxies, Iran is really acting as a proxy for Russia to push its agendain the Middle East. This is the Gog coalition that is predicted in Scripture. I said this before, but an article like this really brings it into clear focus. Ezekiel 38:4 describes how God is going to put �hooks� in the �jaws� of Russia to draw it into this conflict in the land of Israel. It appears to me that Iran could easilybe those hooks in the jaws, as Russia is deepening its ties with the country. Iran is a proxy of Russia; therefore, when Iran wants to strike Israel at some point in the future, that�s going to draw Russia inexorably into this coalition to be part of the invasionof Israel in the end times. We have every reason to be looking for the coming of Jesus Christ at any moment. ----------------------------
