WORLD AT WAR: 3.17.18 - Memri reveals Muslim call to arms to form joint ISLAMIC ARMY to invade Israel!

Memri reveals Muslim call to arms to form joint ISLAMIC ARMY to invade Israel! - http://therightscoop.com/here-we-go-memri-reveals-muslim-call-to-arms-to-form-joint-islamic-army-to-invade-israel/

The website Memri, known for monitoring and translating the Middle East, has uncovered a doozy for us in recent days and it goes right along with what we've been saying about Erdogan's plans to resurrect the fatally wounded head of the Ottoman Empire.

First allow me to set the scene.

On December 6, as you well know, Trump changed US policy recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and set in motion a plan to move our embassy there from Tel Aviv. That brought about outrage and protests in the Middle East - some violent - and condemnations from all over Muslim world of Trump's decision. Even the UN tried unsuccessfully to get Trump to undo his decision.

Then Erdogan steps up and takes charge of this issue on behalf of the Muslim world, making ominous threats against Israel that sound akin to invasion while leading the OIC to recognize East Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine.

That's the backdrop.

Six days after Trump made this recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, one of the top news websites in Turkey ran an article entitled "What If an Army of Islam Was Formed against Israel?" They ran it on both their newspaper (below) and on their website.

Translated: A Call for Urgent Action for Jerusalem

Full stop.

This is exactly what the Bible predicts will happen in the last days, as we've explained at some length in our Bible Prophecy Primer. Ezekiel 38 specifically explains how Turkey, partnered with Iran and many other Muslim nations will invade Jerusalem. Zechariah 14 talks about how the nations with gather against Jerusalem in the last days and that the city shall be taken and half of the city exiled to other countries. And on and on we could go.

Now before we get to the nitty gritty details of this Yeni Safak article, you need to first know something about the source of the material Yeni Safak used. This is where some excellent research from Memri comes in to play. They explain that the source of this material is from an organization called SADAT:

The main points of the article are taken from the website of the Turkish SADAT International Defense and Consulting Company, which provides consultancy on defense and warfare, both conventional and unconventional, and on military organization, training and gear. The company has an agenda of promoting pan-Islamic military cooperation. According to its mission statement, it seeks "to establish defense collaboration and defense industry cooperation among Islamic countries, to help the Islamic world take its rightful place among the superpowers by providing... strategic consultancy and training services to the militaries and homeland security forces of Islamic countries."

According to Israeli security sources, the SADAT company is involved in aiding Hamas, and seeks to assist - with funds and military gear - the creation of a "Palestine Army" to fight Israel.

Here's how Michael Rubin with AEI describes SADAT:

...SADAT, a private paramilitary group which emerged from the shadows on the evening of the coup: Eyewitnesses say SADAT members fired into crowds and Turkish military officers suspect SADAT snipers to be responsible for at least some of the casualties that occurred on the trans-Bosporus bridge.

Adnan Tanriverdi, a former general dismissed for his Islamist leanings after the 1997 coup, founded SADAT in 2012. After the coup, Erdogan brought Tanriverdi into his office as chief military counselor. Thanks to a rule change made at Erdogan's direction, many Islamists dismissed from the military who found refuge in SADAT subsequently re-joined the military with retroactive credit for promotions they did not receive in the military because of early termination.

...SADAT appears increasingly to act as Erdogan's personal militia or a Turkish equivalent of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

The "Turkish equivalent of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps." Also Adnan Tanriverdi is pictured above in the center.

Memri explains that the information used in the Yeni Safak article was taken from a PDF that no longer exists on the SADAT website. But Memri has it available upon request.

Erdogan's Vision: Uniting an 'Army of Islam' to Destroy Israel in 10 Days - Tzippe Barrow -

An article in a Turkish paper with close ties to Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan exposes the regime's desire to form an "Army of Islam" to attack and destroy the State of Israel.

The article calls on the 57 member nations of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) throughout the Muslim world to join forces against the Israeli "occupiers" who would then be vastly outnumbered and unable to defend their country.

Translated and posted by MEMRI (Middle East Media Research Institute), the article details how combined ground, air and naval forces could defeat Israel militarily in 10 days and diplomatically in 20 days, thereby liberating "Palestine."

According to MEMRI's well-documented post, the article's key points came from the website of Turkey's SADAT International Defense and Consulting Company, which promotes pan-Islamic military cooperation.

SADAT was founded by President Erdogan's senior military advisor, Adnan Tanriverdi. The group provides information on "conventional and unconventional defense and warfare." Its mission statement envisions helping "the Islamic world take its rightful place among the superpowers."

Citing Israeli security sources, MEMRI notes that SADAT provides funding and military equipment to Hamas in the Gaza Strip with the goal of creating a Palestinian army to fight Israel.

"If the OIC member states unite and form a joint military force, it will be the largest army in the world," the article states. "These countries' total population is 1,674,526,931. The number of soldiers in active service in these countries is at least 5,206,100."

The article in that Turkish daily, which is called Yeni Safak, describes Israel's population (just over 8 million) and military forces "as significantly inferior," noting that the population of Istanbul, Turkey's capital, is more than 14 million.

"The military capability of the OIC member states is considerable," the paper says. "These armies have the necessary equipment to carry out a military operation on land, sea and air."

It continues. "Turkey alone is superior (to Israel)" and "will serve as an important headquarters during the operation due to its land, air and naval infrastructures." And he says, Turkey is actively pursuing and renewing alliances with Muslim countries in the Middle East and Africa.

"Those who believe that they are the owners of Jerusalem today will not find a single tree to hide behind tomorrow," he concludes.

Turkey To Lead Islamic Army Of 57 Muslim Nations Against Israel?

News Image By JNS/MEMRI March 14, 2018

On Dec. 12, 2017, ahead of the summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Istanbul,  the Turkish daily Yeni Şafak, which is close to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his ruling AKP party, published an article titled "A Call for Urgent Action," which also appeared on the paper's website under the title "What If an Army of Islam Was Formed Against Israel?"

The article called on the 57 member states of the OIC to form a joint "Army of Islam" to besiege and attack the state of Israel. It notes that such a joint army will greatly exceed the Israeli army in manpower, equipment and budget, and presents statistics to prove this.

It also advocates establishing joint bases for the army's ground, air and naval forces that will arrive from all over the Muslim world to besiege Israel, while noting that Pakistan, as the only nuclear country, has "a special status" among the OIC countries.

An interactive map provides information on military forces stationed in various locations and the role they can play in the potential joint Muslim attack on Israel.

SADAT Founder Adnan Tanrıverdi

The SADAT company was founded by Erdoğan's senior advisor on military affairs, retired general Adnan Tanrıverdi, and is chaired by his son, Melih Tanrıverdi. Adnan Tanrıverdi (b. 1944) served in the Turkish army's Artillery Corps and headed the Home Front Command in northern Cyprus.

He is an expert on assymetric warfare, and was dismissed from the Turkish military in 1996 for his Islamists leadnings. A former Turkish army officer, Ahmet Yavuz, described him as "an enemy of Atatrk" and stated that his dismissal from the army was not surprising.

The Yeni Şafak article is based on a PDF booklet featuring a number of articles by Tanrıverdi, as well as other materials, that appeared on the homepage of SADAT's website and has since been removed. Some of the articles are virulently anti-Israel and promote the goal of arming the Palestinians and forming an Army of Islam to eliminate Israel.

Tanrıverdi Associate Arrested In Israel On Suspicion Of Aiding Hamas

Recently, Israel became aware of Tanrıverdi's activities after it arrested a Turkish academic, Cemil Tekeli, on suspicion of aiding Hamas terrorists in Turkey. According to the Israeli paper Makor Rishon, Tekeli, who has since been deported to Turkey, is a close associate of Adnan Tanrıverdi.
"What If An Army Of Islam Was Formed Against Israel?

"If the OIC member states unite and form a joint military force, it will be the largest army in the world. These countries' total population is 1,674,526,931. The number of soldiers in active service in these countries is at least 5,206,100. Their overall military defense budget, of $174,728,420, is also worthy of emphasis.

"Half Of Istanbul"

"As for Israel, it is significantly inferior. The population of this country, which attempted to occupy Jerusalem while surrounded by Muslim states, is 8,049,314. Note that the population of Istanbul alone exceeds 14 million. The number of soldiers in active service in the Israeli occupation forces is 160,000, and Israel's defense budget is approximately $15,600,000,000.

"Islamic Countries Will Lay Siege To Israel

"Among the decisions that can be taken at the OIC summit is to form a 'Jerusalem Task Group.' In this framework, military steps are likely to be taken. The Muslim armies, ranging from Africa to Asia, surpass the Israeli army in might. So if an Islamic army is formed, Israel will be under a siege.

"At The First Stage: 250 Thousand Soldiers"

"In a possible military operation, the first step is expected to involve 250,000 soldiers, and the establishment of joint land, air and naval bases for use in the short term.

"500 tanks and armored vehicles, 100 war planes, 500 attack helicopters and 50 warships and submarines can be mobilized.

"Military Bases Close to Israel Available For Immediate Action

"The war planes that will be dispatched to the region from greater distances will be stationed in airbases closer to Israel. Israel will most likely to be besieged by the naval fleets that will be sent to the Mediterranean and the Red Sea.

"The Necessary Equipment Exists"

"The military capability of the OIC member states is considerable. These armies have the necessary equipment to carry out a military operation on land, sea and air.

"Even Turkey Alone Is Superior To Israel"

"Turkey will serve as an important headquarters during the operation, due to its land, air and naval infrastructures. The Turkish army, which carried out 'Operation Euphrates Shield' in Syria in 2017 with great success, is now ranked the world's seventh strongest army, and the second largest army among the NATO powers. Turkey has approximately 4,000 tanks and 1,000 war planes and other aircraft. Its navy made significant progress during the last years, with 194 vessels at its disposal.

"As the only country which possesses nuclear weapons, Pakistan has an important status among the 57 Muslim OIC countries...

"Those who believe that they are the owners of Jerusalem today will not find a single tree to hide behind tomorrow"

"Asia's Military Defiance"

"In a statement, Malaysian Defense Minister [Hishammuddin] Hussein described Trump's recognition [of Jerusalem as Israel's capital] as a blow to Muslims, and added: 'The Malaysian armed forces are ready to fulfill their duty regarding Jerusalem.'

"Turkey Is Forming Alliances"

"In recent years, Turkey has launched a series of collaborations with OIC member states. The joint military drill with our Iraqi neighbors conveyed a clear message to the terrorists, and Turkey is also engaging in new collaborations with Qatar, Somalia and other Gulf and African countries.

In this context it should be underlined that Turkey is taking steps to realize the model of the 'Army of Islam,' forging alliances with many Muslim countries to increase its military mobility."

Hamas has demanded that other jihadist Palestinian organizations prevent any attempts to carry out attacks in the border area with Israel in order to avoid harming the chances of leading thousands of Palestinians to the border fence in a protest planned as part of events marking the 70th anniversary of Israel's founding, a senior official in one of the jihadist Palestinian organizations told Breitbart Jerusalem.

According to the source, in a meeting between Hamas leaders, including Ismail Haniyeh, and representatives of the Palestinian factions, Hamas insisted that Israel must not be given an "excuse" to take steps that would make people afraid to approach the Israel-Gaza fence, which would harm the planned protest in which thousands are expected to march to the fence.

Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth reported last week that the IDF is preparing for attempts by Hamas to send thousands of protesters to the border on Israeli Independence Day on April 19, taking advantage of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Breitbart Jerusalem also reported last month that Hamas and the Palestinian factions are considering the idea of sending thousands of protesters to the border with Israel to put pressure on Israel, the Palestinian Authority and the international community to find a solution to the hardships in the Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian source, Hamas plans to attempt to begin processions in the coming weeks and bring them to a climax on Israeli Independence Day.

The source noted that in a meeting attended by Haniyeh, Hamas demanded that attack attempts be prevented like the one from two months ago when four IDF soldiers were wounded by an explosive device wrapped in a Palestinian flag and hung on the border fence.

Will Turkey Lead an End-of-Days Global Islamic Jihad Against Israel And The US? - By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz -

"He shall be a wild ass of a man; His hand against everyone, And everyone's hand against him; He shall dwell alongside of all his kinsmen." Genesis 16:12 (The Israel Bible)

A recent study by a Middle East analysis organization based in Washington DC revealed that the Turkish president's call for 57 nations to join together to form an anti-Israel army of Islam could create the most formidable military force on the planet. One Israeli expert on Islam stated emphatically, "make no mistake; this is war," and lest the message is missed, he also emphasized that this call for jihad includes a direct threat against the US.

A report on Wednesday by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) investigated an article that was published in December in the Turkish daily Yeni Şafak, a media outlet which is closely affiliated with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his ruling AKP party. The article titled, "A Call for Urgent Action," which also appeared on the paper's website under the title, "What If an Army of Islam Was Formed against Israel?" called on the 57 member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to form a joint "Army of Islam" to besiege and attack the state of Israel. The article went into specifics, describing in detail how such an army would overwhelm the Jewish State.

Once warm, relations between Turkey and Israel have been shaky in the last decade. But this call for a religious war against Israel is a relatively new development. The political differences between the two countries took on global religious overtones last May when Erdogan called for Muslims to flood the Temple Mount.

"Each day that Jerusalem is under occupation is an insult to us," Erdogan had said from the International Forum on al-Quds Waqf in Istanbul.

The article in Yeni Şafak explained how Erdogan's Islamic military campaign against Israel would play out, citing logistical details that portrayed this theoretical Army of Islam as being formidable.

"If the OIC member states unite and form a joint military force, it will be the largest army in the world," the article said. "These countries' total population is 1,674,526,931. The number of soldiers in active service in these countries is at least 5,206,100. Their [overall] military defense budget, of $174,728,420, is also worthy of emphasis."

"As for Israel, it is significantly inferior," the article continued. "The population of this country, which attempted to occupy Jerusalem while surrounded by Muslim states, is 8,049,314. Note that the population of Istanbul alone exceeds 14 million. The number of soldiers in active service in the [Israeli] occupation forces is 160,000, and [Israel's] defense budget is approximately $15, 600,000,000.

In comparison, the US military has 1,281,900 active soldiers, less than one quarter of the proposed Army of Islam. The US military budget, which is the largest of any single country in the world, is approximately $580 billion and over 30 times that of the proposed Army of Islam.

The article also described the details of the battle plans, with Turkey being the headquarters, and emphasized that Turkey's army is the seventh largest in the world and the second largest in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

Rabbi Pinchas Winston, a prolific end-of-days author, said that according to Jewish mystical sources, Erdogan's Islamic alliance is more of an immediate threat to the US.

"The Zohar states that the end-of-days conflict will begin with a confrontation between Ishmael, represented today by the world of Islam, and Esav (Esau), represented today by aspects of America and parts of Europe." Rabbi Winston told Breaking Israel News.

"Unfortunately, the Zohar states that Esav will lose this war, which will then become a war between Ishmael and Yaakov, represented by Israel."

As a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Turkey is technically a US ally, but recent developments in Syria have made a US-Turkish confrontation seem more likely. In January, Turkey launched an incursion into Syria, which Istanbul claimed was targeting the anti-Turkish Kurdish forces on the Syrian border. This offensive pushed eastward, putting Turkish forces in uncomfortable proximity with US forces in Manjib.

The very real risk of an armed confrontation between these two NATO armies is being handled in a noticeably aggressive fashion that is not normally seen in a relationship between allies. The situation is further complicated by the US military's support for Kurds militias in the past.

Two weeks ago, the White House warned Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan that should US troops in Syria be threatened, they would return fire. Erdogan responded, ""those who say that they would respond if they are hit have never tasted an Ottoman slap."

The "Ottoman slap" is a legendary Turkish fighting technique involving an open handed blow that if properly executed, is claimed to be fatal.

Dr. Mordechai Kedar, a senior lecturer in the Department of Arabic at Bar-Ilan University, believes that Erdogan's threats should be taken seriously.

"In the language of Islam, the message is embedded in codes," Dr. Kedar told Breaking Israel News.

"Right now, there is no such thing as the Army of Islam. But a call to form an army was a call for Jihad against anyone who opposes their views, which, for now, are focused on Jerusalem. This includes a call against America. He didn't call explicitly for war against America because that would open the Gates of Hell on his head."

Nonetheless, Dr. Kedar said the message to the world of Islam was clear.

"It doesn't matter what he says," Dr. Kedar said. "The Muslims heard the message that they are at war with America, and he was very clear on how this threat should be handled.

"If anyone succumbs to the threats of Islam, they are doomed," he continued. "They take you seriously only if you are too dangerous to mess with. And they know that Trump is dangerous."

The plans described in the Turkish article for an Army of Islam are already progress.

"In a statement, Malaysian Defense Minister [Hishammuddin] Hussein described Trump's recognition [of Jerusalem as Israel's capital] as a blow to Muslims," the article stated, adding, '"the Malaysian armed forces are ready to fulfill their duty regarding Jerusalem."

"In recent years, Turkey has launched a series of collaborations with [OIC] member states. The joint military drill with our Iraqi neighbors conveyed a clear message to the terrorists, and Turkey is [also] engaging in new collaborations with Qatar, Somalia and other Gulf and African countries. In this context it should be underlined that Turkey is taking steps to realize the model of the 'Army of Islam,' forging alliances with many Muslim countries to increase its military mobility."

Dr Efrat Aviv, a specialist in Turkey and lecturer in the department of Middle Eastern Studies at Bar Ilan University, sees Turkey's conflict with the US as being separate from its conflict with Israel.

"As a Muslim leader, Erdogan supports the Palestinian claim to Jerusalem, but the problem Turkey has with America goes much deeper than Trump's support of Jerusalem as Israel's capital," Dr. Aviv said. She referred to a case in 2014 in which US servicemen who were visiting Turkey were beaten by crowds in the streets of Istanbul. "Anti-American sentiment goes as deep as anti-Israel sentiment."

"Today, there is also the difficulty of US support for Kurdistan, which is entirely disconnected from Israel," she added.

Dr. Aviv also noted that the US has resisted Turkish requests to extradite Fethullah Glen, a Turkish Muslim preacher living in exile in Pennsylvania. Formerly a close ally of Erdogan, Glen is now on Turkey's most-wanted list for terrorism, a claim which the US government rejects.

"Israel and Turkey have managed to overcome their religious differences in the past," Dr. Aviv said. "But the differences between the US and Turkey, and the resulting anti-American sentiment in Turkey, no one knows how to move past that. And it is in danger of just getting bigger."
