The Breaking of God's Covenant with Abraham - Jaco Prinsloo - jprinsloo@gmail.com
I have just read the article on the Deal of the Century and there are actually some very profound prophecies that are being fulfilled by what happened on January 28th when President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu announced the Deal of the Century.
These include the first portion of 1 Thessalonians 5:3 as well as the first portion of Isaiah 21. Those two portions are shown below:
1Th 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
1Th 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
1Th 5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
1Th 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
1Th 5:7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
Isa 21:2 A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O Media; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease.
Isa 21:3 Therefore are my loins filled with pain: pangs have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman that travaileth: I was bowed down at the hearing of it; I was dismayed at the seeing of it.
Isa 21:4 My heart panted, fearfulness affrighted me: the night of my pleasure hath he turned into fear unto me.
Also note that both these passages are associated with a woman in travail - establishing a link between the events that are described in them.
What is also interesting is that Isaiah 21 refers to "the treacherous dealer" who deals treacherously and the fact that Trump stated that Jerusalem will remain Israel's undivided capital was just such a dealing as this was in fact a lie. According to a statement by Jared Kushner, the plan is to do away with borders and to have the Israelis and Palestinians co-exist on God's land without borders - thus having Jerusalem as Israel's undivided capital. God's Word specifically forbids this and this can be seen in the following passages:
Num 23:9 For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.
Lev 25:23 The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.
In the previous land-for-peace deals, the Palestinians were given land, but a sovereign Palestinian State within the borders of God's land had never been agreed to by Israel in these deals. This does not violate God's covenant with Abraham as we have the following passage supporting others living among Israel, but not becoming owners of that land:
Lev 25:45 Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession.
What Netanyahu agreed to on January 28th was to make the Palestinians co-owners of God's property, which breaks the everlasting covenant that God made with Abraham and Trump making a statement to hide the facts from most who did not look at this with their eyes wide open and considering how the Bible judges this act. The land belongs to God and Israel is the sole nation to which God assigned ownership of His land and are not in a position to make agreements involving the ownership of God's land on God's behalf.
There is also an interesting connection between this transgression and God's judgment which is promised over those who break His everlasting covenant and that connection is made within the sign that is promised to Israel - the sign of Jonah. Jonah proclaimed that the destruction of Nineveh would occur within 40 days of his appearance in the city and 40 days from the announcement of the Deal of the Century lands on the day in which Israel celebrates Purim. Isaiah 21 continues to describe the result of Israel spoiling God's apple by agreeing to make the Palestinians co-owners of God's land and that this will result in fear that will befall Israel on "the night of their pleasure". This clearly refers to the time in which Israel celebrates Purim and there is another connection in 1 Thessalonians 5:3 to the same timeframe as the Babylonian Talmud obligates those who belong to the nation of Israel to drink themselves into a stupor until they are unable to distinguish between Haman - who wanted to destroy Israel - and Mordecai - who saved Israel.
1 Thessalonians 5:7 specifically points to the drunkenness in the night of those who will not escape and is therefore once again linked to Isaiah 21 and the events that are associated with Purim.
If my understanding is correct, the fear that Isaiah 21 describes has a very good probability to befall Israel on the evening that Purim is celebrated and this then ushering in the Tribulation.
