The false prophets of Coronavirus - Bill Wilson -
Democratic Presidential Candidate Joe Biden and a host of others in the Democratic Party stable are trying to make the case that Donald Trump is at fault for spreading coronavirus in the United States and around the world. Biden said on Monday's MSNBC's "The Last Word," "The whole question on crises is how much credibility a president has...No matter who the president is, [he] speaks for the nation, and gives great concern to and/or brings some solace to the rest of the world. And this president has--this is not a political comment. It's a literal comment--He has no credibility on this issue." Other Democratic presidential candidates Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Michael Bloomberg and the media say the same.
They are repeating that President Trump has called the current flu scare a hoax (not true), and that he has no plan on how to prevent spread of the virus in the US. They are calling it "Trumpvirus" in a New York Times editorial, and are spreading fear across the nation with their comments. Let's look at the facts so far provided by the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and other organizations. There are 91,320 confirmed cases of coronavirus worldwide. There have been 3,118 deaths reported (a little over 3%). 48,155 have recovered. China, with 80,151 cases, leads the world with South Korea, Italy, and Iran each having over 1,500 cases. The US has 105 confirmed cases and six deaths.
Here is something to think about. The Centers for Disease Control estimates in its weekly Influenza Surveillance Report, "that so far this season there have been at least 32 million flue illnesses, 310,000 hospitalizations and 18,000 deaths from flu." CDC reported, "The percentage of death attributed to pneumonia and influenza is 6.9 percent, below the epidemic threshold of 7.3 percent...Key indicators that track flu activity remain high but decreased for the second week in a row. Severity indicators (hospitalizations and deaths) remain moderate to low overall, but hospitalization rates differ by age group, with high rates among children and young adults." Coronavirus in the US is far less a threat than the general flu.
Yet, the Democrats are using scare tactics and politicizing coronavirus. Biden says being presidential is to "bring some solace to the rest of the world," but he and his political buddies are doing just the opposite. The media is doing the same thing. During times of potential crisis, it is best to keep a level head and focus on the facts. Yes, the coronavirus could explode, especially with the lack of border security, which is something else the democrats are adamant about. You see, what people say and what people do contribute to all of this. Christ said in Matthew 7:15, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." We can see plainly who are the false prophets of coronavirus; their fruits are deception.
The disturbing Castro Connection - Bill Wilson -
Cuban Americans took to the streets Saturday in Miami, FL., to protest the Democratic Party's candidacy of socialist Bernie Sanders because of his remarks favoring Cuba's brutal dictator Fidel Castro. Sanders told 60 Minutes' Anderson Cooper that the Castro regime "educated their kids, gave them health care, [and] totally transformed the society." Sanders praised Castro, saying, "We're very opposed to the authoritarian nature of Cuba but you know, it's unfair to simply say everything is bad. You know? When Fidel Castro came into office, you know what he did? He had a massive literacy program. Is that a bad thing? Even though Fidel Castro did it?" He's not the only Democrat in love with Castro.
In March 2014, the immediate past president and his family visited Cuba. They attended a baseball game with Castro's brother Raul, also a brutal communist who took over for Fidel when his health began failing. The apology tour included announcing a reexamination of Cuba's terrorist-sponsoring designation, saying that 50 years of isolation and economic sanctions on Cuba have not worked, and that the US and Cuba are going to work together on topics with which they agree. He all but conceded to the Castro Revolution. In November 2016, the Washington Post and the New York Times coverage of Fidel Castro's death made him out to be an extraordinary revolutionary that brought great things to Cuba.
Let us remember the Castro regime. It is one of death and destruction. It is a legacy of poverty for Cubans and debauchery for Castro and his family. The Miami Herald reported on April 23, 2006 that Fidel Castro was responsible for 31,173 executions and prison deaths since he took power in 1959. Some 5,728 were killed by firing squads. He refused medical attention to those trying to escape the island by boat, resulting in another estimated 77,000 deaths. Nearly all the sources indicate an exact number of deaths caused by Castro's regime is unattainable, with some estimating the death toll over 1.5 million. Castro lived a private life of extravagance while appearing as a poor man in public. He was a liar.
Can you see the pattern here? While many of the Democratic candidates for president have said very little about Cuba, there has been closet support for Castro in the party leadership for years. "Ignore the bad, embrace the good" is their mantra. It's a shallow good, and a very deep bad. The Communist Manifesto states: "...Communism abolishes eternal truths, it abolishes all religion, and all morality, instead of constituting them on a new basis." This is the basis of deception for all socialism and progressivism as well. It is godless and evil. The Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:21, 22, "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil." Communists ply the nature of humans with powerful words like "rights" when, in reality, they wish to kill, steal and destroy. Be not deceived by the honoring of Castro.
Sanders Would Be The Most Anti-Israel President Ever - By Jackson Richman/JNS.org -
Making the case for U.S. President Donald Trump's re-election, U.S. Vice President Mike Pence warned on Monday that if elected, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) would be the complete opposite of Trump as it pertains to the U.S.-Israel relationship.
"We must ensure that the most pro-Israel president in history must not be replaced by one who would be the most anti-Israel president in the history of this nation," said Pence at the annual AIPAC Policy Conference, where he slammed Sanders for calling Israel "a racist state" and defaming AIPAC as "a platform for bigotry."
Sanders announced on Feb. 23 that he would skip the AIPAC conference.
Pence also criticized the Democratic candidates at last week's debate in South Carolina for not challenging Sanders about his views on AIPAC and Israel.
"If we can agree on one thing, it should be this: Those who side with Israel's enemies must never be allowed to call themselves friends of Israel," said Pence. "It is wrong to boycott and slander Israel. It is wrong to boycott and slander AIPAC."
Pence also said that "anti-Semitism is anti-Zionism."
In his speech, Pence touted Trump's pro-Israel achievements, including recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital and moving the U.S. embassy there; withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal; closing the PLO mission in Washington, D.C.; defunding U.S. assistance to the Palestinian Authority for rewarding terrorists and their families; defunding U.S. funding for UNRWA; combatting anti-Israel bias at the United Nations; deeming Israeli neighborhoods in the West Bank as not illegal; signing an executive order to combat anti-Semitism on college campuses; and eliminating Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani, head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
The vice president also touted the administration's maximum pressure campaign on Iran in holding it "accountable for its destructive actions" and pledged that "America will never allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon."
Pence also said that Trump's Israeli-Palestinian peace plan as realistic.
Finally, Pence said, "Anti-Semitism must be universally condemned. It must be fought."
Scheduled to speak at the AIPAC conference this afternoon are U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz and House Appropriations Committee Chair Nita Lowey (D-N.Y.).
The Prefab Fake News - Todd Strandberg -
The major network news reporting has become so predictable, there are several times each week that I don't bother to watch the evening newscast. On a good night, I'm lucky to watch 10 minutes of the broadcast. I realize this a huge departure for someone who has watched the 5:30 news since my early teens.
It's not that the internet has drawn me away from network news. Because ABC, CBS, and NBC are still the only broadcasters with a large news budget, they still offer more superior coverage than any web-based news organization. What has caused my fallout with the major networks is how predictable their news coverage has become. By the time we reach the evening hour, I know 95% of the time what is going to be the lead story and how they are going to present it.
When President Trump was being impeached in the House, all the anchors spoke in phony somber tones; giving every step of the process a "historic" label. The build-up to the Robert Mueller Report was likened to the Constitutional Convention. When the report came out, it was found to be a giant waste of time and money.
The only thing that stands out in my mind of the Special Counsel investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election is how poorly Mueller did in his congressional testimony. For months, the media talked him up as the savior of Democracy against the great red menace. When he finally spoke before Congress, we were confronted with a feeble old man who couldn't recall basic facts about the investigation.
Since the left has run out of new lies to take down the president, they decided to borrow a tactic from Joseph Goebbels. "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it." This is why the news has become so predictable. It's mostly recycled, prefabricated, fake news.
Three times in as many weeks, billionaire George Soros has attacked Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, demanding he be removed because he is working to re-elect Donald Trump. Zuckerberg is under attack from Soros because Russian agents placed some ads to support Trump in 2016. Like most of the tech giants, Facebook is run by liberals. The only way Zuckerberg can get out of the doghouse is by helping to defeat Trump.
One of the most common pre-fab fake news tricks today is the signed letter ploy. A couple weeks ago, more than 2,600 former US justice department officials called on Attorney General William Barr to step down for "doing the president's personal bidding" in imposing a recommendation of a reduced sentence for Roger Stone, a longtime friend of the president. The list of names came from the liberal media working with the Federal Judges Association.
I hope that Barr just laughed off this one-day news story. Here we have former DOJ officials claiming to stand for the rule of law, but the association makes it clear that it sides with district court judge Amy Berman Jackson. Normally, the president should not comment on pending legal matters. Since now facing an Obama-appointed Judge means you have no chance of getting a fair trial, every Republican politician should be raising their voice.
The flip side of the media trying to control public thought by liberal committees is by giving voice to leftist individuals. One of my favorites was the Creepy Porn Lawyer Michael Avenatti. After he was found guilty of extortion, conservative sites began circulating a montage of his 250 appearances on various news shows. I was stunned to hear one woman compare this slime ball to the Holy Spirit.
The liberal media deserved to be mocked for thinking that the Avenatti & Stormy Daniels road show would have any impact on Trump's poll numbers. They have worked for decades to normalize sexual depravity.
I find it amusing that celebrities of any stripe who decide to vent hatred at Trump only need to wait their turn in getting a diatribe in print. Last week, Neil Young's number came up; letting him show his contempt for the Donald:
"You are a disgrace to my country," Young writes in a long, scathing open letter to Trump on his Neil Young Archives website. "Your mindless destruction of our shared natural resources, our environment, and our relationships with friends around the world is unforgivable.... Our first black president was a better man than you are."
I think it is very timely for Bible prophecy that Donald Trump is one of the most hated men in world history. He will make a fitting contrast to the Antichrist. After spending what I hope is eight years spewing every form of abhorrence at Trump, the liberal media will be more than ready to lavish the Beast with endless praise.
"The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority. One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was filled with wonder and followed the beast. People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, 'Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?'" (Revelation 13:1-4).
Super Socialist Tuesday - Bill Wilson -
Rank and file Democrats appear to have rejected Senator Bernie Sanders' (D-VT) Democratic Socialism in contrast to Joe Biden's odd positions and brain freezes during the Democratic Party's Super Tuesday primaries. Biden, now being called "comeback kid" by the media, garnered some 453 delegates to Sanders' 382. For those who watch these things, don't get too comfortable with the results that would appear to scorn the new socialist direction of the Democratic Party. On issues like immigration, gun control, healthcare, national defense, abortion, the whole alphabet sex and gender identification, and foreign policy (Israel), there is little to no difference between Sanders and Biden. They are socialists.
Sanders, is just the only one among them honest enough to admit it. And that is why the Democratic leadership is so freaked out against him-he is exposing the true nature of the 21st Century Democratic Party. This party has embraced socialism and is serving as an antithesis to anything remotely conservative politically or socially. When people say that "all politicians are alike" they are speaking in very general terms. The more the Democratic Party embraces socialism, the bigger the chasm between what America has been and what the socialists want to make it. Overall, you have a choice here-go socialist or not. It may not be much of a choice, but if people vote for Democrats, they are likely voting for a socialist-oriented candidate.
To me, socialism means failure. It fails everywhere. It is a polite word for communism. Socialism leads to tyranny. But even more so, it leads to the destruction of the middle class, the economy, the ability of a nation to thrive. Socialism pulls people down, rather than providing a platform for opportunity. Think about it: socialism taxes everyone, redistributes the wealth, expands the government, and enriches those in power-all in the name of helping the poor, substantiating the rights of the "underserved," and giving power to the people. It's all a great and debilitating lie. There are no absolutes in politics, but it is a safe bet to equate socialism with the Democratic Party and its candidates. Look at the platforms.
People will say Christians shouldn't be concerned with politics. In reality, we are to be salt and light, and as Romans 12:21 says, "Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good." This is political and spiritual. If we were doing our jobs well, rather than the prosperity, self-indulgent, extra-biblical, emotional doctrines that are popular to increase attendance (and the offering plate), there would be no move toward socialism in this country. Our children would understand right from wrong. There would be discernment. The principles of loving our neighbors and doing onto others as we would want done onto ourselves would be coming from the heart, rather than turned into programs and mandated by the government. But these things are not foundational to modern church "missions," hence we have events like Super Socialist Tuesday.
