On May 10, Saudi journalist Abdelhameed al-Ghoban gave an interview to the BBC in Arabic. His remarks, which were translated by MEMRI, were devoid of nuance.
"Today, the public is informed. There is a deluge [of opinions] against the Palestinian cause. It is no longer just public support for normalization and building ties with Israel. [Our] public has turned against the Palestinians in general. Unfortunately, the Palestinians have lost. The Palestinians have not contributed anything. We can say that they are emotional people whose behavior is governed by their feelings."
Al-Ghoban added, "It is in our strategic interest, and in keeping with our future economic interests, to maintain real relations with Israel. Israel is an advanced country and we can benefit from it."
Al-Ghoban's remarks are not a lone voice in the wilderness. During the Ramadan Muslim holy month, Saudi television networks broadcast two series that portray Jews and Israelis in a positive light.
Palestinian leaders are beside themselves at what they view as pan-Arab abandonment. In remarks to Israel Hayom this week, a senior Palestinian official bitterly referred to the mild criticisms of U.S. President Donald Trump's peace plan and of Israel's plan to apply its sovereignty to its communities in Judea and Samaria and to the Jordan Valley as no more than "lip service."
Israeli leftist groups are hanging their hopes for torpedoing Israel's sovereignty plans on the European Union. France's plan, supported by Luxembourg, Belgium and Ireland, to impose E.U. sanctions on Israel in the event it implements its sovereignty plan was widely reported this week.
But like the Palestinians, Israeli leftists are likely to be disappointed. E.U. rules require all decisions to be made by consensus, and there is no consensus on sanctioning Israel.
Even worse for the leftists is the fact that Israel's plan to apply sovereignty to parts of Judea and Samaria is not a unilateral move. Israel will carry it out in the framework of the U.S. peace plan. If the European Union retaliates against Israel for implementing the first stage of the Trump peace plan, it will antagonize the White House, which will rightly view the move as anti-American. This state of affairs will increase the number of E.U. member states that will oppose anti-Israel sanctions-or any other anti-Israel response to the sovereignty plan.
Given this state of affairs, Israeli leftist groups will have to learn to live with disappointment. Europe will not be able to force the government to embrace their radical policies.
There is another reason that Israel needn't be too concerned that applying its laws to parts of Judea and Samaria will damage it diplomatically or economically. To understand what it is, it is worth considering what was likely a key reason, if not the key reason, that U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo visited Israel this week, in the middle of the global coronavirus pandemic.
Commentators in Israel and the United States were surprised by Pompeo's visit. Like most world leaders, Pompeo has been grounded since late February. Why was he breaking the coronavirus lockdown to fly to Israel of all places for a few hours? What was so important that he couldn't discuss it via secure video conference?
Most media outlets claimed that the sovereignty plan is what brought him to Jerusalem. But that made little sense even before Pompeo arrived and said that he wasn't here for that. Both in Pompeo's interview to Israel Hayom on Tuesday, and in Ambassador David Friedman's interview with Israel Hayom two weeks ago, they made clear that the Trump administration continues to support Israel's plan. Friedman even made clear that he views the issue with great urgency.
Another popular explanation was that Pompeo flew to Israel to discuss Iran. This too, makes no sense. Israel and the United States are completely coordinated in their Iran policies.
There appear to be two reasons that Pompeo came to Israel this week of all times. The first and more discussed may be the less significant one. That reason is China. On both sides of the partisan divide, U.S. leaders have long been concerned about Israel's technological ties with China and with its willingness to grant infrastructure construction contracts to Chinese firms. In an interview with the Washington Free Beacon, published on the eve of Pompeo's arrival in Israel, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs David Schenker said, "We don't want them [Israel] to get into a problematic relationship with China."
Schenker focused his remarks on U.S. concerns with Israeli-Chinese contracts for major infrastructure projects, like a water desalination plant and the Haifa port.
"China sees a lot of value in a relationship with Israel, the high-tech, the innovations," said Schenker.
He continued, "Israel also needs all sorts of infrastructure and it looks to China. China is a low-cost bidder and Chinese companies do all this work. But there are things that have to be taken into account. We also have interests and we want to be able to work with Israel."
Pompeo emphasized U.S. concern with Israel-China ties both in his discussions with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and in his remarks to the Israeli media. There is no doubt that the heightened U.S. pressure on Israel to lower the flame on its ties with China is reasonable. China, after all, disseminated the coronavirus plague worldwide and hid the dangers from the world for two months while it purchased the global supply of ventilators and personal protective equipment.
Yet at the same time, even these heightened concerns don't explain Pompeo's sudden decision to fly to Israel. There have been no notable new developments in Israel's ties with China in recent months. And Israel announced last year that it would not be participating in Huawei's 5G network. Certainly, the messages Pompeo communicated to Netanyahu could just have easily and effectively been delivered in a videoconference.
This brings us to the coronavirus itself.
On May 5, the Israel Institute for Biological Research in Nes Ziona announced a "groundbreaking scientific development" towards a potential treatment for COVID-19 based on an antibody that neutralizes SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes the disease. It was the second breakthrough announced that week by institute scientists, who days earlier announced that they had isolated a key coronavirus antibody.
In its announcement of the developments, the Israeli Defense Ministry said that the institute is now pursuing a patent for its development, after which it will begin discussions with international manufacturers.
Israeli Defense Minister Naftali Bennett, who visited the institute on May 7 with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin to receive a briefing on the discovery, said at the end of the tour, "I instructed the defense establishment and the institute to move ahead at the highest speed to develop a mass cure. We will not spare money or resources. We will do everything in our power to shorten the time it takes to have a commercial medicine."
The first report of Pompeo's sudden decision to visit Jerusalem this week came on May 6, the day after the Institute of Biological Research's initial announcement and the day before Bennet and Rivlin visited the institute.
In his remarks at the Prime Minister's Office with Netanyahu on Wednesday morning, Pompeo mentioned U.S.-Israeli cooperation in fighting the pandemic. Turning to Netanyahu, he said, "Israeli technologies, Israeli medical expertise, all of the things that you and I and our teams can work on together. I know we'll deliver good outcomes and decrease the risk for people all across the world from this global pandemic."
The Defense Ministry's announcement of the Institute of Biological Research's latest breakthrough noted, "This is an important milestone, which will be followed by a series of complex tests and a process of regulatory approvals."
That process could take several months. Experts in and out of the defense establishment note that it is too early to know the full implications of the discovery. Obviously, if Israel has developed a cure for the coronavirus, its economic and diplomatic position will be upgraded significantly.
But even if the Institute for Biological Research's latest discovery doesn't lead to an immediate cure for the coronavirus, it is clear that the biomedical and technological capabilities that Israel has demonstrated in its treatment and research of the coronavirus have solidified its place among the world-leading nations in these critical areas.
Arab states that are driven towards Israel due to their shared interest in preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons and becoming a regional hegemon will cling to Israel ever more tightly now. European governments that seek to punish Israel for asserting its sovereign rights in Judea and Samaria, will have to balance their hostility with their desire to benefit from cooperation with Israel.
It is very possible that the main foreign policy challenge facing Israel today is not how to minimize the risks of diplomatic blowback for applying its laws in Judea and Samaria. It is figuring out how to maximize Israel's new global position in a manner that will strengthen us diplomatically, economically and strategically into the future.

It is currently believed that the coronavirus started with a single person in the city of Wuhan, China. I find it amazing that one person's interaction with a bat could trigger a cascade of tragedy that has now claimed the lives of 300,000 people and has cost the world $5 trillion in efforts to combat the virus.
I've watched several videos on how the virus takes over our cells to make endless copies of itself. Each time I'm stunned by how such a simple piece of genetic code can replicate itself and cause so much damage to its host.
The pandemic made me think of a positive outcome that is my hope for the Rapture Ready site. When the rapture finally takes place, a huge number of people will flock to the internet, looking for information on this stunning event. The main goal of the site is to be a resource to people who are interested in prophecy.
For people who find themselves on the wrong side of the rapture, we have very gripping content. Many years ago, Kurt Seland sent me the article "The Post-Rapture Survival Guide." First, he warned about how everyone should be ready, and then made plain the reality that they will soon face:

When Project Veritas released secretly recorded video of Planned Parenthood executives discussing the harvesting and sale of fetal organs, it took the liberal media two or three days to think of a reason why the abortionists were the ones being wronged. It may take them a week or so to devise how the onset of the tribulation is nothing to fear.
During a brief window, I'm hopeful that millions of people will be able to read and save the content from RR. Because things are so crazy right now, I feel the day of the big download may be very near.
Several times in the past month, we had nearly 100,000 people visit RR in a single day. I know that there are many people in this group that have a general interest in prophecy, but they don't consider themselves believers to any religion. When the rapture takes place, many of these people will be transformed into highly motivated missionaries.
Everyone who realizes they were left behind, they need to repent of their sins by placing their trust in Jesus Christ, and then they need to copy every resource they can find on the net because it won't be there for very long.
It would only take a handful of people to make copies of RR or some other sites. It would be a huge blessing if someone like Bill Gates became saved and decided to transmit the content of RR in ways that I could never conceive. My technological capabilities are stuck in the world of HTML. I have Twitter and Facebook accounts, but I have no idea how to use them.
The site you are currently accessing is not designed to be a post-rapture resource. Because RR.com is based on a huge database that might need 100 files just to bring up one page, it would quickly crash once a million people try to access it at once. I just had them double the size of our server because of all the recent virus-related traffic.
I think the best way to transmit content is the flat files that make up our mirror sites. They can be found on our link page. They are old tech, but they are extremely rugged. Because most pages have a single article file and a graphic header, they never crash. Back in the day, we could have a quarter-million people visit the site in a single day on a Pentium-based server with no problems. These HTML sites can be loaded on thumb drives and still operate. If the internet police ban all sites related to prophecy, tribulation saints will need to pass Bible-related content by hand. The mirror sites are stripped to 60 MB, which allows for fast transfer.
There are very few books in print on the subject of the rapture. Most Christian bookstores have gone out of business over the past 20 years. Terry and I live in the central Arkansas area, and I don't know of any such stores. There was a Lifeway book store in Little Rock, but it closed a couple of years ago. People can get books from Amazon, but that option can disappear with the click of a mouse.
This lack of end-time biblical information is another sign of how close we are to the tribulation hour. The prophecy in the book of Amos perfectly describes our current state of affairs:
"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD" (Amos 8:11).

At a time when the world is already being hit with major crisis after major crisis, our sun is behaving in ways that we have never seen before. For as long as records have been kept, the sun has never been quieter than it has been in 2019 and 2020, and as you will see below we are being warned that we have now entered "a very deep solar minimum".
Unfortunately, other very deep solar minimums throughout history have corresponded with brutally cold temperatures and horrific global famines, and of course this new solar minimum comes at a time when the United Nations is already warning that we are on the verge of "biblical" famines around the world. So we better hope that the sun wakes up soon, because the alternative is almost too horrifying to talk about.
Without the sun, life on Earth could not exist, and so the fact that it is behaving so weirdly right now should be big news.
Sadly, most mainstream news outlets are largely ignoring this story, but at least a few are covering it. The following comes from Forbes...
While we on Earth suffer from coronavirus, our star--the Sun--is having a lockdown all of its own. Spaceweather.com reports that already there have been 100 days in 2020 when our Sun has displayed zero sunspots.
That makes 2020 the second consecutive year of a record-setting low number of sunspots.
And here is what the New York Post is saying...
Our sun has gone into lockdown, which could cause freezing weather, earthquakes and famine, scientists say.
The sun is currently in a period of "solar minimum," meaning activity on its surface has fallen dramatically.
Experts believe we are about to enter the deepest period of sunshine "recession" ever recorded as sunspots have virtually disappeared.
Yes, covering COVID-19 is important, but the fact that scientists are warning that we are potentially facing "freezing weather, earthquakes and famine" should be deeply alarming for all of us.
And since the mainstream media has been largely silent on this crisis, most Americans don't even know that it exists.
Last year, there were no sunspots at all 77 percent of the time, and so far this year there have been no sunspots at all 76 percent of the time...
"This is a sign that solar minimum is underway," reads SpaceWeather.com. "So far this year, the Sun has been blank 76% of the time, a rate surpassed only once before in the Space Age. Last year, 2019, the Sun was blank 77% of the time. Two consecutive years of record-setting spotlessness adds up to a very deep solar minimum, indeed."
So why is this such a big deal?
Well, every once in a while a very deep solar minimum that lasts for several decades comes along, and when our planet has experienced such periods in the past the consequences have been quite dramatic.
For example, the New York Post is claiming that NASA scientists fear that we could potentially be facing "a repeat of the Dalton Minimum"...
NASA scientists fear it could be a repeat of the Dalton Minimum, which happened between 1790 and 1830 -- leading to periods of brutal cold, crop loss, famine and powerful volcanic eruptions.
Temperatures plummeted by up to 2 degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit) over 20 years, devastating the world's food production.
Even worse would be a repeat of the Maunder Minimum which stretched from 1645 to 1715. It came as the globe was already in the midst of "the Little Ice Age", and it caused harvest failures and famines all over the globe...
The Maunder Minimum is the most famous cold period of the Little Ice Age. Temperatures plummeted in Europe, the growing season became shorter by more than a month, the number of snowy days increased from a few to 20-30, the ground froze to several feet, alpine glaciers advanced all over the world, glaciers in the Swiss Alps encroached on farms and buried villages, tree-lines in the Alps dropped, sea ports were blocked by sea ice that surrounded Iceland and Holland for about 20 miles, wine grape harvests diminished, and cereal grain harvests failed, leading to mass famines.
The Thames River and canals and rivers of the Netherlands froze over during the winter. The population of Iceland decreased by about half. In parts of China, warm-weather crops that had been grown for centuries were abandoned. In North America, early European settlers experienced exceptionally severe winters.
Of course this would be an exceptionally bad time for such a cataclysmic climate shift, because African Swine Fever has already wiped out approximately one-fourth of all the pigs in the world, colossal armies of locusts the size of major cities are systematically wiping out crops across much of Africa, the Middle East and Asia, and fear of COVID-19 is greatly disrupting global food supply chains.
In fact, it is being reported that widespread shutdowns of meat processing facilities in the United States may force farmers to euthanize "as many as 10 million hogs by September"...
U.S. pork farmers may be forced to euthanize as many as 10 million hogs by September as a result of production-plant shutdowns brought on by the coronavirus pandemic, according to the National Pork Producers Council.
At least 14,000 reported positive COVID-19 cases have been connected to meatpacking facilities in at least 181 plants in 31 states as of May 13, and at least 54 meatpacking facility workers have died of the virus at 30 plants in 18 states, according to an investigation by the Midwest Center for Investigative reporting.
Even if the sun suddenly started acting perfectly normal once again, we would still be facing what the UN is calling "the worst humanitarian crisis since World War Two".
Global food supplies are getting tighter with each passing day, and many are warning that some areas of the globe will soon be dealing with severe food shortages.
What we really need are a few years of really good growing weather, but the behavior of the sun may not make that possible.
So let's keep a very close eye on the giant ball of fire that we are revolving around, because if it remains very quiet that could mean big trouble for all of us.

Something clicked inside me the other evening as Ruth, my wife, and I read from the book Get Your Life Back by John Eldredge. As we took turns reading from his chapter, "Allowing for Transitions," a thought occurred to me on a completely different wavelength than that of the author.
What if our current COVID-19 experience is itself a time of transition for believers, the United States, and even the world?
Jesus is Preparing Us for Our Departure
For those of us who know the Savior, the past couple months have been a time of loosening our grip on the things in this world. I was so looking forward to watching the NCAA Basketball Tournament, but my hope vanished in a day. I didn't realize how much I liked going out to eat or going to the movies with Ruth until I could no longer do them. And my favorite sporting event of May, the Indianapolis 500, has been postponed until August. But who knows if it will happen even then?
For those of us watching for Jesus' imminent appearing, the Lord has made us aware of just how close His appearing to take us home might be. In doing so, He's allowing us time to contemplate and perhaps prepare for our transition from this temporary world to our eternal existence in glorified and immortal bodies.
A Psyche of Fear Has Infected the United States
For the United States, I believe it's a time of transition from a time of great abundance to the deadly pestilences and famines that will come during the seven-year tribulation when severe shortages of everything will be the rule rather than the exception.
The psyche of America has forever changed. Perhaps years in the making, but gone is the courage of the past that led our brave young men to storm the beaches of Normandy knowing they would likely perish. Instead, I see fear everywhere I look. I see it in the eyes of those who crowd our grocery stores. I see it in the willingness of so many to quickly surrender their rights in order for civil authorities to keep them "safe."
It's this widespread psyche of fear that's opening the door to the New World Order in America!
I might be wrong, but I believe this psyche of fear will greatly impede the future economic recovery in America. The enormous debt of the United States and the world will at some future time create a massive global crisis that will open the door wide for the globalists. I believe this is closer than many can imagine. The United States cannot sustain for long the burden of thirty-six million unemployed along with a multitude of failing businesses.
It's incredibly difficult for me to see what is happening in the United States. I grew up loving my country and thankful for the freedoms we have enjoyed here for so long. But now I see our liberties vanishing into thin air for sake of safety, I watch as a psyche of fear overtakes our nation, and I long for things to return to the way they were. But I do not think that will happen; we are on the threshold of the tribulation. Satan's kingdom is taking shape before our eyes.
The New World Order is Here
For the world, this is a time of transition from nationalism to a worldwide government. Just this week, the mayor of Chicago said she needed "deputies who are pledging allegiance to the New World Order." These are her exact words; I listened to her comments three times to confirm.
The Bible tells us that a worldwide government will exist during tribulation. At some point, the antichrist will seize control of it and cause everyone to take his mark in order to buy or sell.
Do we see the globalists conditioning people for such control? Absolutely! They are already telling us that someday we will need their vaccine for COVID-19 and an accompanying mark or tattoo in order to attend public gatherings. On March 26, 2020, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Gordon Brown, called for the establishment of a "temporary world government" to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. Pope Francis has repeatedly joined the chorus of those calling for a New World Order.
The elite have learned through the response of the world to COVID-19 just how easily they can control people with fear. Just think what might happen after the rapture as wars break out and pandemics, far more deadly than the Coronavirus, afflict the people left behind. The nations of the world will readily give up their rights to join the New World Order, which will promise peace and stability.
God's wrath is indeed coming to America and the world during the time we know as the day of the Lord or the seven-year tribulation. How much longer will He put up with the slaughter of our innocents or the horrific imprisoning of our children in sex trafficking before He says enough is enough?
For now, the Lord has first granted us a reprieve of sorts, a time of transition for us as believers to continue loosening our grip on the things of the world in preparation for the glory that awaits us in eternity.
As for the world; the cries for the luciferin New World Order grow louder by moment. Contract tracers, mandatory vaccines, and economic chaos point to the great changes ahead for world as the global government emerges before our eyes.
This morning, I felt the fear of what might lie ahead and knew I needed reassurance from the promises of Scripture. I turned to Psalms 46 and 47, as I do at least a couple times a week, and meditated on Jesus' return to establish His righteous kingdom on the earth. He will rule over the nations of this world.
For us who know Jesus, His defeat of the Satan's kingdom and the establishment of His righteous rule will be a time of ecstatic rejoicing and jubilant, wild celebration (see Rev. 19:1-8). This is our future! Satan may think he has the upper hand at the moment, but the doom of his kingdom (i.e. the New World Order) is sure!

My title here might make one ask: "What do you mean, 'sudden emergence?'" By this question-to carry the supposition further-the questioner might follow up with: "The Chinese have been front and center and a growing item in the news for decades."
China has indeed been moving from its Far East shadows behind that long wall that can be seen from satellites in space. Their emergence continues on an hour-by-hour basis. All we have to do is to listen to any news report at the moment these days. China is at the center of controversy in the matter of the COVID-19 crisis.
Top administration officials who are charged with national security are looking with accusatory thoughts toward the communist government of China. Almost certainly, many are saying, China is guilty of releasing the virus once it escaped from one of their laboratories somewhere near Wuhan.
The city-larger in population than New York City-was shut down for some time right at the beginning of the virus' release, experts are saying. Somehow, I can't remember exactly how, according to the report, the intelligence from the area showed that many roads for heavy traffic were completely closed for more than a week at one point. It was something that had never been done. There was no explanation for the shutdown, the report I heard said.
The inference the experts in national security made, according to the news report I heard, was that the streets and roads were completely shut down, disallowing the city's millions of people to traverse them. This means, they believe, that something of a highly dangerous nature caused the dictator, Xii Ping, to disrupt life totally in the area.
Shortly after the shutdown, U S intelligence agencies reported, according to what I heard that Chinese military removed hundreds, if not thousands, from their apartments. These same people haven't been heard from since. The thinking, among the people who gather intelligence, is that these were taken and killed in some manner, and attempts were made to erase that they ever existed.
Why? Apparently those removed were sick with the virus. They were removed, the thinking goes, so that the Chinese government could hide that the virus broke out in Wuhan and vicinity.
This "theory" is based in fact, in that US intelligence authorities have made no effort to discount this report. Apparently, electronic devices that monitor the area of Wuhan and the military weapons laboratory picked up on all these doings in and around the area.
The reports discount the "theory" that the virus spread from the so called wet markets of the area. These are the places where meats are bought by grocery shoppers. They apparently choose live animals-and exotic animals, at that, in some cases. Bats were thought to be the "meat" from which the virus came in this regard.
Now the question is whether the virus escaped the labs accidentally or was deliberately released. The former thinking seems to be what most of the intelligence people I've heard talk about the matters involved have concluded.
Now the accusations are that Xii Ping and his cadre of underlings decided that the accidental release was not going to bring only China's economic circumstance to a standstill. They wanted and continue to want all economies to suffer so China can maintain its relatively close number-one economic position as it comes out of the crisis. The virus, the thinking goes, was put on planes by the Chinese government, with people carrying it to major cities around the world.
This certainly seems to be the plausible explanation for what has happened.
It is much more than just doubtful that this could have been contrived totally as part of a plan to do the damage it has done. The Chinese have simply-and maybe not so simply-taken advantage of the virus' accidental release. Their strategy, if so, is brilliantly evil.
As stated in previous commentaries, I believe it was planned by the greatest schemer there is-Lucifer, the fallen one. He, I conjecture, started it from the beginning and continues to carry out the devilish plan.
So the American administration is casting a suspicious glare at the Chinese communist regime and pointing an accusatory finger, based on electronic and on-the-ground intelligence.
What does this all mean, prophetically speaking? My own thought is that while Satan has planned it all from its inception, it is, of course, under the complete control of God, whose omniscience nothing and no one escapes. I believe it is yet another signal of stage-setting for the Tribulation era and the ultimate return of His Son, the Lord Jesus, to clean up the planet of all sin and rebellion.
It is almost a certainty that China will be a primary player in the Tribulation era. The virus and China's part in the release of its deadly and destructive effects could well be the Lord grabbing the old Chinese dragon by its neck and pulling it to the surface of earth's bubbling cauldron of rebellion against God to make known its evil intentions.
China, as we've looked at many times, is showing itself to be the hegemonic force that consistently proves it wants to dominate not only the South China Sea and its sphere of influence, but wants to become the world's number-one economic and military superpower.
The coronavirus might be a pandemic-a much-overblown one in terms of its potential deadly effects, in my estimation. It is likely Satan, however, who has brought it about to the degree that it has inflicted its havoc upon the world. But the God of Heaven controls it, like He controls everything in the ultimate sense.
Could China now have been "outed" in alerting all observers to its genocidal evil? Could the Lord be seeing to it that the Chinese dragon is shown to be in cahoots with the old red dragon, Satan so that there can be no excuse that the world hasn't been warned?
That Chinese dragon will be the king of the kings of the east, I really have little doubt. They and their Near-East and Far-East Asian cohorts will be responsible for killing fully one-third of earth's inhabitants at the later stages of the movement of nations toward the killing fields of Armageddon.
And the sixth angel poured out his bowl upon the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, that the way might be prepared for the kings from the east. (Revelation 16:12)
The greater devastating strategy - Bill Wilson -
A high-level Administration source recently told me that there is no doubt that the Democratic Leadership strategy is to keep the country shut down as much as possible leading into the elections. The Democrats believe that people out of work and on the less than optimum government stimulus checks will be disgruntled enough to vote against the current Administration. Political instinct and poll data are driving this strategy. In other words, they want to strangle the nation and try to revive it after it is unconscious. Take heed, the way they will revive it is through passing guaranteed minimum income and other socialist measures combined with fixing the vote with vote by mail. We are on a destructive course.
This is it in a nutshell: Government, overreaching and all powerful, will continue its natural expansion using the fear of the flu as the fulcrum of burying your both God-given and Constitutional Rights. The nose of the socialist camel is under the tent and is about to lift up, and with it will be a host of issues with violating church's, businesses', and individuals' rights. Once this ground is taken, government with its non-legislated administrative law will tighten down on people. Imagine a society where you must be tested for COVID-19 or vaccinated against it. If you refuse, you are not allowed in public places, or to fly, or to buy food in person. THIS IS NOT THE MARK OF THE BEAST, but it is a socialist/communist control factor that normalizes control and tyranny.
James Madison said during a February 1792 debate, "If Congress can apply money indefinitely to the general welfare, and are the sole and supreme judges of the general welfare, they may take the care of religion into their own hands.. In short, everything, from the highest object of State legislation, down to the most minute object of police, would be thrown under the power of Congress...and might be called, if Congress pleased, provisions for the general welfare." The current situation is the realization of Madison's concern, but on steroids, because a crisis of fear is employed to snare a willfully soft citizenry. Similar to Ezekiel 22:30 where the Lord "sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one."
Once the government controls your health and tracks it with your movement, and even pays you a little bit with a guaranteed minimum income, you are enslaved. Your rights are then derived from the government and whoever is in charge. Vote by mail, without strict controls and a purging of the voter list of those who are deceased, ensures this tyrannical system remains in place for decades to come. These so-called "stimulus" laws, which have no sunset attached to them, are a clear and present danger to your very freedom. Mark this: there is no end to the power of a government that derives its authority, not from the people, but from its own devices. These people in power are about to destroy our country if we don't stand in the gap.

On May 10, Saudi journalist Abdelhameed al-Ghoban gave an interview to the BBC in Arabic. His remarks, which were translated by MEMRI, were devoid of nuance.
"Today, the public is informed. There is a deluge [of opinions] against the Palestinian cause. It is no longer just public support for normalization and building ties with Israel. [Our] public has turned against the Palestinians in general. Unfortunately, the Palestinians have lost. The Palestinians have not contributed anything. We can say that they are emotional people whose behavior is governed by their feelings."
Al-Ghoban added, "It is in our strategic interest, and in keeping with our future economic interests, to maintain real relations with Israel. Israel is an advanced country and we can benefit from it."
Al-Ghoban's remarks are not a lone voice in the wilderness. During the Ramadan Muslim holy month, Saudi television networks broadcast two series that portray Jews and Israelis in a positive light.
Palestinian leaders are beside themselves at what they view as pan-Arab abandonment. In remarks to Israel Hayom this week, a senior Palestinian official bitterly referred to the mild criticisms of U.S. President Donald Trump's peace plan and of Israel's plan to apply its sovereignty to its communities in Judea and Samaria and to the Jordan Valley as no more than "lip service."
Israeli leftist groups are hanging their hopes for torpedoing Israel's sovereignty plans on the European Union. France's plan, supported by Luxembourg, Belgium and Ireland, to impose E.U. sanctions on Israel in the event it implements its sovereignty plan was widely reported this week.
But like the Palestinians, Israeli leftists are likely to be disappointed. E.U. rules require all decisions to be made by consensus, and there is no consensus on sanctioning Israel.
Even worse for the leftists is the fact that Israel's plan to apply sovereignty to parts of Judea and Samaria is not a unilateral move. Israel will carry it out in the framework of the U.S. peace plan. If the European Union retaliates against Israel for implementing the first stage of the Trump peace plan, it will antagonize the White House, which will rightly view the move as anti-American. This state of affairs will increase the number of E.U. member states that will oppose anti-Israel sanctions-or any other anti-Israel response to the sovereignty plan.
Given this state of affairs, Israeli leftist groups will have to learn to live with disappointment. Europe will not be able to force the government to embrace their radical policies.
There is another reason that Israel needn't be too concerned that applying its laws to parts of Judea and Samaria will damage it diplomatically or economically. To understand what it is, it is worth considering what was likely a key reason, if not the key reason, that U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo visited Israel this week, in the middle of the global coronavirus pandemic.
Commentators in Israel and the United States were surprised by Pompeo's visit. Like most world leaders, Pompeo has been grounded since late February. Why was he breaking the coronavirus lockdown to fly to Israel of all places for a few hours? What was so important that he couldn't discuss it via secure video conference?
Most media outlets claimed that the sovereignty plan is what brought him to Jerusalem. But that made little sense even before Pompeo arrived and said that he wasn't here for that. Both in Pompeo's interview to Israel Hayom on Tuesday, and in Ambassador David Friedman's interview with Israel Hayom two weeks ago, they made clear that the Trump administration continues to support Israel's plan. Friedman even made clear that he views the issue with great urgency.
Another popular explanation was that Pompeo flew to Israel to discuss Iran. This too, makes no sense. Israel and the United States are completely coordinated in their Iran policies.
There appear to be two reasons that Pompeo came to Israel this week of all times. The first and more discussed may be the less significant one. That reason is China. On both sides of the partisan divide, U.S. leaders have long been concerned about Israel's technological ties with China and with its willingness to grant infrastructure construction contracts to Chinese firms. In an interview with the Washington Free Beacon, published on the eve of Pompeo's arrival in Israel, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs David Schenker said, "We don't want them [Israel] to get into a problematic relationship with China."
Schenker focused his remarks on U.S. concerns with Israeli-Chinese contracts for major infrastructure projects, like a water desalination plant and the Haifa port.
"China sees a lot of value in a relationship with Israel, the high-tech, the innovations," said Schenker.
He continued, "Israel also needs all sorts of infrastructure and it looks to China. China is a low-cost bidder and Chinese companies do all this work. But there are things that have to be taken into account. We also have interests and we want to be able to work with Israel."
Pompeo emphasized U.S. concern with Israel-China ties both in his discussions with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and in his remarks to the Israeli media. There is no doubt that the heightened U.S. pressure on Israel to lower the flame on its ties with China is reasonable. China, after all, disseminated the coronavirus plague worldwide and hid the dangers from the world for two months while it purchased the global supply of ventilators and personal protective equipment.
Yet at the same time, even these heightened concerns don't explain Pompeo's sudden decision to fly to Israel. There have been no notable new developments in Israel's ties with China in recent months. And Israel announced last year that it would not be participating in Huawei's 5G network. Certainly, the messages Pompeo communicated to Netanyahu could just have easily and effectively been delivered in a videoconference.
This brings us to the coronavirus itself.
On May 5, the Israel Institute for Biological Research in Nes Ziona announced a "groundbreaking scientific development" towards a potential treatment for COVID-19 based on an antibody that neutralizes SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes the disease. It was the second breakthrough announced that week by institute scientists, who days earlier announced that they had isolated a key coronavirus antibody.
In its announcement of the developments, the Israeli Defense Ministry said that the institute is now pursuing a patent for its development, after which it will begin discussions with international manufacturers.
Israeli Defense Minister Naftali Bennett, who visited the institute on May 7 with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin to receive a briefing on the discovery, said at the end of the tour, "I instructed the defense establishment and the institute to move ahead at the highest speed to develop a mass cure. We will not spare money or resources. We will do everything in our power to shorten the time it takes to have a commercial medicine."
The first report of Pompeo's sudden decision to visit Jerusalem this week came on May 6, the day after the Institute of Biological Research's initial announcement and the day before Bennet and Rivlin visited the institute.
In his remarks at the Prime Minister's Office with Netanyahu on Wednesday morning, Pompeo mentioned U.S.-Israeli cooperation in fighting the pandemic. Turning to Netanyahu, he said, "Israeli technologies, Israeli medical expertise, all of the things that you and I and our teams can work on together. I know we'll deliver good outcomes and decrease the risk for people all across the world from this global pandemic."
The Defense Ministry's announcement of the Institute of Biological Research's latest breakthrough noted, "This is an important milestone, which will be followed by a series of complex tests and a process of regulatory approvals."
That process could take several months. Experts in and out of the defense establishment note that it is too early to know the full implications of the discovery. Obviously, if Israel has developed a cure for the coronavirus, its economic and diplomatic position will be upgraded significantly.
But even if the Institute for Biological Research's latest discovery doesn't lead to an immediate cure for the coronavirus, it is clear that the biomedical and technological capabilities that Israel has demonstrated in its treatment and research of the coronavirus have solidified its place among the world-leading nations in these critical areas.
Arab states that are driven towards Israel due to their shared interest in preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons and becoming a regional hegemon will cling to Israel ever more tightly now. European governments that seek to punish Israel for asserting its sovereign rights in Judea and Samaria, will have to balance their hostility with their desire to benefit from cooperation with Israel.
It is very possible that the main foreign policy challenge facing Israel today is not how to minimize the risks of diplomatic blowback for applying its laws in Judea and Samaria. It is figuring out how to maximize Israel's new global position in a manner that will strengthen us diplomatically, economically and strategically into the future.

It is currently believed that the coronavirus started with a single person in the city of Wuhan, China. I find it amazing that one person's interaction with a bat could trigger a cascade of tragedy that has now claimed the lives of 300,000 people and has cost the world $5 trillion in efforts to combat the virus.
I've watched several videos on how the virus takes over our cells to make endless copies of itself. Each time I'm stunned by how such a simple piece of genetic code can replicate itself and cause so much damage to its host.
The pandemic made me think of a positive outcome that is my hope for the Rapture Ready site. When the rapture finally takes place, a huge number of people will flock to the internet, looking for information on this stunning event. The main goal of the site is to be a resource to people who are interested in prophecy.
For people who find themselves on the wrong side of the rapture, we have very gripping content. Many years ago, Kurt Seland sent me the article "The Post-Rapture Survival Guide." First, he warned about how everyone should be ready, and then made plain the reality that they will soon face:

When Project Veritas released secretly recorded video of Planned Parenthood executives discussing the harvesting and sale of fetal organs, it took the liberal media two or three days to think of a reason why the abortionists were the ones being wronged. It may take them a week or so to devise how the onset of the tribulation is nothing to fear.
During a brief window, I'm hopeful that millions of people will be able to read and save the content from RR. Because things are so crazy right now, I feel the day of the big download may be very near.
Several times in the past month, we had nearly 100,000 people visit RR in a single day. I know that there are many people in this group that have a general interest in prophecy, but they don't consider themselves believers to any religion. When the rapture takes place, many of these people will be transformed into highly motivated missionaries.
Everyone who realizes they were left behind, they need to repent of their sins by placing their trust in Jesus Christ, and then they need to copy every resource they can find on the net because it won't be there for very long.
It would only take a handful of people to make copies of RR or some other sites. It would be a huge blessing if someone like Bill Gates became saved and decided to transmit the content of RR in ways that I could never conceive. My technological capabilities are stuck in the world of HTML. I have Twitter and Facebook accounts, but I have no idea how to use them.
The site you are currently accessing is not designed to be a post-rapture resource. Because RR.com is based on a huge database that might need 100 files just to bring up one page, it would quickly crash once a million people try to access it at once. I just had them double the size of our server because of all the recent virus-related traffic.
I think the best way to transmit content is the flat files that make up our mirror sites. They can be found on our link page. They are old tech, but they are extremely rugged. Because most pages have a single article file and a graphic header, they never crash. Back in the day, we could have a quarter-million people visit the site in a single day on a Pentium-based server with no problems. These HTML sites can be loaded on thumb drives and still operate. If the internet police ban all sites related to prophecy, tribulation saints will need to pass Bible-related content by hand. The mirror sites are stripped to 60 MB, which allows for fast transfer.
There are very few books in print on the subject of the rapture. Most Christian bookstores have gone out of business over the past 20 years. Terry and I live in the central Arkansas area, and I don't know of any such stores. There was a Lifeway book store in Little Rock, but it closed a couple of years ago. People can get books from Amazon, but that option can disappear with the click of a mouse.
This lack of end-time biblical information is another sign of how close we are to the tribulation hour. The prophecy in the book of Amos perfectly describes our current state of affairs:
"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD" (Amos 8:11).

At a time when the world is already being hit with major crisis after major crisis, our sun is behaving in ways that we have never seen before. For as long as records have been kept, the sun has never been quieter than it has been in 2019 and 2020, and as you will see below we are being warned that we have now entered "a very deep solar minimum".
Unfortunately, other very deep solar minimums throughout history have corresponded with brutally cold temperatures and horrific global famines, and of course this new solar minimum comes at a time when the United Nations is already warning that we are on the verge of "biblical" famines around the world. So we better hope that the sun wakes up soon, because the alternative is almost too horrifying to talk about.
Without the sun, life on Earth could not exist, and so the fact that it is behaving so weirdly right now should be big news.

While we on Earth suffer from coronavirus, our star--the Sun--is having a lockdown all of its own. Spaceweather.com reports that already there have been 100 days in 2020 when our Sun has displayed zero sunspots.
That makes 2020 the second consecutive year of a record-setting low number of sunspots.
And here is what the New York Post is saying...
Our sun has gone into lockdown, which could cause freezing weather, earthquakes and famine, scientists say.
The sun is currently in a period of "solar minimum," meaning activity on its surface has fallen dramatically.
Experts believe we are about to enter the deepest period of sunshine "recession" ever recorded as sunspots have virtually disappeared.
Yes, covering COVID-19 is important, but the fact that scientists are warning that we are potentially facing "freezing weather, earthquakes and famine" should be deeply alarming for all of us.
And since the mainstream media has been largely silent on this crisis, most Americans don't even know that it exists.
Last year, there were no sunspots at all 77 percent of the time, and so far this year there have been no sunspots at all 76 percent of the time...
"This is a sign that solar minimum is underway," reads SpaceWeather.com. "So far this year, the Sun has been blank 76% of the time, a rate surpassed only once before in the Space Age. Last year, 2019, the Sun was blank 77% of the time. Two consecutive years of record-setting spotlessness adds up to a very deep solar minimum, indeed."
So why is this such a big deal?
Well, every once in a while a very deep solar minimum that lasts for several decades comes along, and when our planet has experienced such periods in the past the consequences have been quite dramatic.
For example, the New York Post is claiming that NASA scientists fear that we could potentially be facing "a repeat of the Dalton Minimum"...
NASA scientists fear it could be a repeat of the Dalton Minimum, which happened between 1790 and 1830 -- leading to periods of brutal cold, crop loss, famine and powerful volcanic eruptions.
Temperatures plummeted by up to 2 degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit) over 20 years, devastating the world's food production.
Even worse would be a repeat of the Maunder Minimum which stretched from 1645 to 1715. It came as the globe was already in the midst of "the Little Ice Age", and it caused harvest failures and famines all over the globe...
The Maunder Minimum is the most famous cold period of the Little Ice Age. Temperatures plummeted in Europe, the growing season became shorter by more than a month, the number of snowy days increased from a few to 20-30, the ground froze to several feet, alpine glaciers advanced all over the world, glaciers in the Swiss Alps encroached on farms and buried villages, tree-lines in the Alps dropped, sea ports were blocked by sea ice that surrounded Iceland and Holland for about 20 miles, wine grape harvests diminished, and cereal grain harvests failed, leading to mass famines.
The Thames River and canals and rivers of the Netherlands froze over during the winter. The population of Iceland decreased by about half. In parts of China, warm-weather crops that had been grown for centuries were abandoned. In North America, early European settlers experienced exceptionally severe winters.
Of course this would be an exceptionally bad time for such a cataclysmic climate shift, because African Swine Fever has already wiped out approximately one-fourth of all the pigs in the world, colossal armies of locusts the size of major cities are systematically wiping out crops across much of Africa, the Middle East and Asia, and fear of COVID-19 is greatly disrupting global food supply chains.
In fact, it is being reported that widespread shutdowns of meat processing facilities in the United States may force farmers to euthanize "as many as 10 million hogs by September"...
U.S. pork farmers may be forced to euthanize as many as 10 million hogs by September as a result of production-plant shutdowns brought on by the coronavirus pandemic, according to the National Pork Producers Council.
At least 14,000 reported positive COVID-19 cases have been connected to meatpacking facilities in at least 181 plants in 31 states as of May 13, and at least 54 meatpacking facility workers have died of the virus at 30 plants in 18 states, according to an investigation by the Midwest Center for Investigative reporting.
Even if the sun suddenly started acting perfectly normal once again, we would still be facing what the UN is calling "the worst humanitarian crisis since World War Two".
Global food supplies are getting tighter with each passing day, and many are warning that some areas of the globe will soon be dealing with severe food shortages.
What we really need are a few years of really good growing weather, but the behavior of the sun may not make that possible.
So let's keep a very close eye on the giant ball of fire that we are revolving around, because if it remains very quiet that could mean big trouble for all of us.

Something clicked inside me the other evening as Ruth, my wife, and I read from the book Get Your Life Back by John Eldredge. As we took turns reading from his chapter, "Allowing for Transitions," a thought occurred to me on a completely different wavelength than that of the author.
What if our current COVID-19 experience is itself a time of transition for believers, the United States, and even the world?
Jesus is Preparing Us for Our Departure
For those of us who know the Savior, the past couple months have been a time of loosening our grip on the things in this world. I was so looking forward to watching the NCAA Basketball Tournament, but my hope vanished in a day. I didn't realize how much I liked going out to eat or going to the movies with Ruth until I could no longer do them. And my favorite sporting event of May, the Indianapolis 500, has been postponed until August. But who knows if it will happen even then?
For those of us watching for Jesus' imminent appearing, the Lord has made us aware of just how close His appearing to take us home might be. In doing so, He's allowing us time to contemplate and perhaps prepare for our transition from this temporary world to our eternal existence in glorified and immortal bodies.
A Psyche of Fear Has Infected the United States
For the United States, I believe it's a time of transition from a time of great abundance to the deadly pestilences and famines that will come during the seven-year tribulation when severe shortages of everything will be the rule rather than the exception.
The psyche of America has forever changed. Perhaps years in the making, but gone is the courage of the past that led our brave young men to storm the beaches of Normandy knowing they would likely perish. Instead, I see fear everywhere I look. I see it in the eyes of those who crowd our grocery stores. I see it in the willingness of so many to quickly surrender their rights in order for civil authorities to keep them "safe."
It's this widespread psyche of fear that's opening the door to the New World Order in America!
I might be wrong, but I believe this psyche of fear will greatly impede the future economic recovery in America. The enormous debt of the United States and the world will at some future time create a massive global crisis that will open the door wide for the globalists. I believe this is closer than many can imagine. The United States cannot sustain for long the burden of thirty-six million unemployed along with a multitude of failing businesses.
It's incredibly difficult for me to see what is happening in the United States. I grew up loving my country and thankful for the freedoms we have enjoyed here for so long. But now I see our liberties vanishing into thin air for sake of safety, I watch as a psyche of fear overtakes our nation, and I long for things to return to the way they were. But I do not think that will happen; we are on the threshold of the tribulation. Satan's kingdom is taking shape before our eyes.
The New World Order is Here
For the world, this is a time of transition from nationalism to a worldwide government. Just this week, the mayor of Chicago said she needed "deputies who are pledging allegiance to the New World Order." These are her exact words; I listened to her comments three times to confirm.
The Bible tells us that a worldwide government will exist during tribulation. At some point, the antichrist will seize control of it and cause everyone to take his mark in order to buy or sell.
Do we see the globalists conditioning people for such control? Absolutely! They are already telling us that someday we will need their vaccine for COVID-19 and an accompanying mark or tattoo in order to attend public gatherings. On March 26, 2020, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Gordon Brown, called for the establishment of a "temporary world government" to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. Pope Francis has repeatedly joined the chorus of those calling for a New World Order.
The elite have learned through the response of the world to COVID-19 just how easily they can control people with fear. Just think what might happen after the rapture as wars break out and pandemics, far more deadly than the Coronavirus, afflict the people left behind. The nations of the world will readily give up their rights to join the New World Order, which will promise peace and stability.
God's wrath is indeed coming to America and the world during the time we know as the day of the Lord or the seven-year tribulation. How much longer will He put up with the slaughter of our innocents or the horrific imprisoning of our children in sex trafficking before He says enough is enough?
For now, the Lord has first granted us a reprieve of sorts, a time of transition for us as believers to continue loosening our grip on the things of the world in preparation for the glory that awaits us in eternity.
As for the world; the cries for the luciferin New World Order grow louder by moment. Contract tracers, mandatory vaccines, and economic chaos point to the great changes ahead for world as the global government emerges before our eyes.
This morning, I felt the fear of what might lie ahead and knew I needed reassurance from the promises of Scripture. I turned to Psalms 46 and 47, as I do at least a couple times a week, and meditated on Jesus' return to establish His righteous kingdom on the earth. He will rule over the nations of this world.
For us who know Jesus, His defeat of the Satan's kingdom and the establishment of His righteous rule will be a time of ecstatic rejoicing and jubilant, wild celebration (see Rev. 19:1-8). This is our future! Satan may think he has the upper hand at the moment, but the doom of his kingdom (i.e. the New World Order) is sure!

My title here might make one ask: "What do you mean, 'sudden emergence?'" By this question-to carry the supposition further-the questioner might follow up with: "The Chinese have been front and center and a growing item in the news for decades."
China has indeed been moving from its Far East shadows behind that long wall that can be seen from satellites in space. Their emergence continues on an hour-by-hour basis. All we have to do is to listen to any news report at the moment these days. China is at the center of controversy in the matter of the COVID-19 crisis.
Top administration officials who are charged with national security are looking with accusatory thoughts toward the communist government of China. Almost certainly, many are saying, China is guilty of releasing the virus once it escaped from one of their laboratories somewhere near Wuhan.
The city-larger in population than New York City-was shut down for some time right at the beginning of the virus' release, experts are saying. Somehow, I can't remember exactly how, according to the report, the intelligence from the area showed that many roads for heavy traffic were completely closed for more than a week at one point. It was something that had never been done. There was no explanation for the shutdown, the report I heard said.
The inference the experts in national security made, according to the news report I heard, was that the streets and roads were completely shut down, disallowing the city's millions of people to traverse them. This means, they believe, that something of a highly dangerous nature caused the dictator, Xii Ping, to disrupt life totally in the area.
Shortly after the shutdown, U S intelligence agencies reported, according to what I heard that Chinese military removed hundreds, if not thousands, from their apartments. These same people haven't been heard from since. The thinking, among the people who gather intelligence, is that these were taken and killed in some manner, and attempts were made to erase that they ever existed.
Why? Apparently those removed were sick with the virus. They were removed, the thinking goes, so that the Chinese government could hide that the virus broke out in Wuhan and vicinity.
This "theory" is based in fact, in that US intelligence authorities have made no effort to discount this report. Apparently, electronic devices that monitor the area of Wuhan and the military weapons laboratory picked up on all these doings in and around the area.
The reports discount the "theory" that the virus spread from the so called wet markets of the area. These are the places where meats are bought by grocery shoppers. They apparently choose live animals-and exotic animals, at that, in some cases. Bats were thought to be the "meat" from which the virus came in this regard.
Now the question is whether the virus escaped the labs accidentally or was deliberately released. The former thinking seems to be what most of the intelligence people I've heard talk about the matters involved have concluded.
Now the accusations are that Xii Ping and his cadre of underlings decided that the accidental release was not going to bring only China's economic circumstance to a standstill. They wanted and continue to want all economies to suffer so China can maintain its relatively close number-one economic position as it comes out of the crisis. The virus, the thinking goes, was put on planes by the Chinese government, with people carrying it to major cities around the world.
This certainly seems to be the plausible explanation for what has happened.
It is much more than just doubtful that this could have been contrived totally as part of a plan to do the damage it has done. The Chinese have simply-and maybe not so simply-taken advantage of the virus' accidental release. Their strategy, if so, is brilliantly evil.
As stated in previous commentaries, I believe it was planned by the greatest schemer there is-Lucifer, the fallen one. He, I conjecture, started it from the beginning and continues to carry out the devilish plan.
So the American administration is casting a suspicious glare at the Chinese communist regime and pointing an accusatory finger, based on electronic and on-the-ground intelligence.
What does this all mean, prophetically speaking? My own thought is that while Satan has planned it all from its inception, it is, of course, under the complete control of God, whose omniscience nothing and no one escapes. I believe it is yet another signal of stage-setting for the Tribulation era and the ultimate return of His Son, the Lord Jesus, to clean up the planet of all sin and rebellion.
It is almost a certainty that China will be a primary player in the Tribulation era. The virus and China's part in the release of its deadly and destructive effects could well be the Lord grabbing the old Chinese dragon by its neck and pulling it to the surface of earth's bubbling cauldron of rebellion against God to make known its evil intentions.
China, as we've looked at many times, is showing itself to be the hegemonic force that consistently proves it wants to dominate not only the South China Sea and its sphere of influence, but wants to become the world's number-one economic and military superpower.
The coronavirus might be a pandemic-a much-overblown one in terms of its potential deadly effects, in my estimation. It is likely Satan, however, who has brought it about to the degree that it has inflicted its havoc upon the world. But the God of Heaven controls it, like He controls everything in the ultimate sense.
Could China now have been "outed" in alerting all observers to its genocidal evil? Could the Lord be seeing to it that the Chinese dragon is shown to be in cahoots with the old red dragon, Satan so that there can be no excuse that the world hasn't been warned?
That Chinese dragon will be the king of the kings of the east, I really have little doubt. They and their Near-East and Far-East Asian cohorts will be responsible for killing fully one-third of earth's inhabitants at the later stages of the movement of nations toward the killing fields of Armageddon.
And the sixth angel poured out his bowl upon the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, that the way might be prepared for the kings from the east. (Revelation 16:12)
The greater devastating strategy - Bill Wilson -
A high-level Administration source recently told me that there is no doubt that the Democratic Leadership strategy is to keep the country shut down as much as possible leading into the elections. The Democrats believe that people out of work and on the less than optimum government stimulus checks will be disgruntled enough to vote against the current Administration. Political instinct and poll data are driving this strategy. In other words, they want to strangle the nation and try to revive it after it is unconscious. Take heed, the way they will revive it is through passing guaranteed minimum income and other socialist measures combined with fixing the vote with vote by mail. We are on a destructive course.
This is it in a nutshell: Government, overreaching and all powerful, will continue its natural expansion using the fear of the flu as the fulcrum of burying your both God-given and Constitutional Rights. The nose of the socialist camel is under the tent and is about to lift up, and with it will be a host of issues with violating church's, businesses', and individuals' rights. Once this ground is taken, government with its non-legislated administrative law will tighten down on people. Imagine a society where you must be tested for COVID-19 or vaccinated against it. If you refuse, you are not allowed in public places, or to fly, or to buy food in person. THIS IS NOT THE MARK OF THE BEAST, but it is a socialist/communist control factor that normalizes control and tyranny.
James Madison said during a February 1792 debate, "If Congress can apply money indefinitely to the general welfare, and are the sole and supreme judges of the general welfare, they may take the care of religion into their own hands.. In short, everything, from the highest object of State legislation, down to the most minute object of police, would be thrown under the power of Congress...and might be called, if Congress pleased, provisions for the general welfare." The current situation is the realization of Madison's concern, but on steroids, because a crisis of fear is employed to snare a willfully soft citizenry. Similar to Ezekiel 22:30 where the Lord "sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one."
Once the government controls your health and tracks it with your movement, and even pays you a little bit with a guaranteed minimum income, you are enslaved. Your rights are then derived from the government and whoever is in charge. Vote by mail, without strict controls and a purging of the voter list of those who are deceased, ensures this tyrannical system remains in place for decades to come. These so-called "stimulus" laws, which have no sunset attached to them, are a clear and present danger to your very freedom. Mark this: there is no end to the power of a government that derives its authority, not from the people, but from its own devices. These people in power are about to destroy our country if we don't stand in the gap.
