It should have been so easy for global leaders to sit down and comeup with a plan that would have satisfied everybody, but it is too late for that at this point. Now that Ukraine has been invaded, there is no turning back. The world will never be the same after this, and everybody around the planet should be crying out forpeace. Because now that World War 3 has begun, all of us are in danger. If nuclear missiles start flying back and forth, hundreds of millions of people will end up dead. I have been voraciously following coverage of the war in Ukraine, and both sides are definitely trying to make themselves look as good as possible. As a result, social mediaand major news outlets are being flooded with photos and videos that are supposedly from the war. In some cases they are accurate, but in other cases they are not. In fact, some of the most viral material has already been proven to be completely fake, andyou need to be careful because in many instances viral videos are actually being used to raise money for fake charities. With so much fraudulent propaganda being pumped out, it can be difficult to separate truth from fiction. With that being said, the following are 24 things that I think thatI think about how the war in Ukraine is going� #1 Russia has captured more territory every single day of thewar so far. Everyone pretty much agrees on that. But everyone also pretty much agrees that the Russians are moving much slower than Vladimir Putin would like. #2 I think that Putin believed that taking Ukraine would bea fairly easy task. Unfortunately for him, that has proven not to be true. #3 If Putin knew how difficult the war would be, I don�t thinkthat he would have been so eager to pull the trigger. #4 But Putin can�t turn back now, because that would representan absolutely humiliating defeat and it would mean accepting Ukraine as a member of NATO and having NATO missiles on Ukrainian soil from this point forward. #5 Initially, the Russians were trying to conduct the war ina way that minimized civilian casualties, because they wanted to try to win over the hearts and minds of Ukrainian citizens. Needless to say, that isn�t going to happen. #6 Many of the major cities in Ukraine have either been totallyencircled or are in the process of being totally encircled. Even without using nuclear weapons, the Russians could completely flatten every one of those cities using conventional weapons. But the Russians don�t want to kill millions of civilians, and so theywill essentially be laying siege to these areas until they eventually fall. #7 As the war goes on, I think that Ukrainian forces will besqueezed into tighter and tighter pockets that are completely cut off from one another. In many cases, Ukrainian forces will find themselves totally surrounded in core urban areas. If they do not surrender, the Russians will just keep hammering them day afterday with targeted strikes. #8 It appears that Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky is eitherextremely courageous or he is flat out lying to us. If he is still in Ukraine, and that is a big if, then I have to applaud his courage and bravery. So many others would have fled in the face of a Russian invasion, but if he has chosen to stay and fight thenhis people are right to regard him as a hero. But if he has already left Ukraine and is just acting as if he has stayed behind to fight, then that is the opposite of courage. #9 It is odd that the Russians haven�t been able to find Zelenskyyet, because they have definitely been hunting for him. #10 Zelensky is trying really hard to drag western powers intothe war. He is begging Joe Biden to establish a �no-fly zone� over Ukraine, but Biden understands that this would mean direct military conflict with the Russians. #11 The EU has announced that they will be providing fighterjets to Ukraine. This is an extremely dangerous thing to do, because Putin has warned that those that provide military equipment to Ukraine will be targeted. #12 I don�t know why the EU believes that fighter jets willmake much of a difference, because most of the military airfields under Ukraine�s control have already been destroyed. #13 The entire world was shocked when Putin put his strategicnuclear forces on alert over the weekend. Putin definitely escalated things dramatically by making this move, but hopefully it will get people to understand that we really could end up with a nuclear war at the end of all this. #14 Now that western powers have weaponized SWIFT, I think thatthere will be a mass exodus to China�s version. Most people have not even heard of CIPS (Cross-Border Interbank Payment System) until now, but this crisis is going to make it a lot more prominent. #15 I would love it if the �peace talks� between Russia andUkraine brought an end to the shooting. Unfortunately, to me it appears that Ukraine is simply using those talks as a stalling tactic. Zelensky still seems to think that western powers can be dragged into the conflict, and so he is trying to buy as much timeas possible. #16 When Zelensky signed an application for Ukraine to becomea member of the European Union on Monday, that was another clear sign that he has no intention of turning Ukraine into a �neutral country� like the Russians are demanding. #17 If Zelensky cannot get anyone to come help Ukraine, he willlose this war. #18 But even if Russia wins the battle for Ukraine, it willbe considered a pariah state from now on, and being cut off from the west will be very painful. #19 I think that Richard Moore, the chief of MI6, certainlyrevealed a lot when he tweeted this� �With the tragedy and destruction unfolding so distressingly in Ukraine, we should remember the values and hard won freedoms that distinguish us from Putin, none more thanLGBT+ rights. There will never be peace between our two nations again, and that makes me very sad. I don�t consider the Russian people to be my enemies, and I know that most of them do not consider the American people to be their enemies. But our two governments absolutely hate one another, and now we have stumbled into a war that almost all of us did not want. If our leaders continue to behave irrationally, will we eventually see nuclear weapons get used? Vladimir Putin essentially threatened to use them when he put his nuclear forces on alert over the weekend. And day after day, U.S. and EU officials just continue to escalate matters. What we really need right now are leaders with cool heads that are determined to find a way out of this mess. Here are Geller's answers to six questions from Fred Lucas of The Daily Signal, The Heritage Foundation's multimedia news organization. 1. Putin put Russia's nuclear forces on high alert during theinvasion of Ukraine. What is the likelihood he would use nuclear weapons, and on who and what? The simplest answer to this question is that while the likelihood is not high, it is not zero either. The threat must be taken seriously. Unlike in the U.S., where Americansgenerally believe nuclear weapons should never be used, Russia incorporates nuclear weapons into its warfighting doctrine. It has over 2,000 low-yield, nonstrategic--aka battlefield--nuclear weapons that Russia might use in a conventional conflict in Europe to compel the enemy to back down.Putin had been using nuclear saber-rattling during the buildup to his invasion of Ukraine, threatening nuclear war and conducting nuclear exercises. If Russia continues to fail in its conventional military efforts to take hold of Ukrainian cities and topple the Ukrainian government, Putin might see the explosion of anuclear weapon in Ukraine or at sea as his best way to compel Ukrainians to surrender--or prevent additional outside intervention. But Putin should know that using nuclear weapons would break the 75-year taboo the world has established against using such weapons. Doing so would certainly cause Putin and Russia more harm than hurt. A nuclear attack on Ukraine, beyond the potential damage to the Ukrainian countryside and people, wouldonly immensely strengthen the international response, deeply undermining Russia's efforts at subjugating its neighbor. Less likely is a nuclear attack on a NATO state or the U.S., because Putin knows well that he can expect a prompt nuclear response on Russian soil. But the important messagehere is that in the fog of war--especially against an aggressive autocrat--the United States and its allies should be prepared for anything. 2. A nuclear attack by Russia on the United States seems extremelyunlikely. But what should be the U.S. response, and that of NATO, if Russia hits Ukraine with a nuclear weapon? A nuclear attack on Ukraine would be unnecessary, unjustified, and absolutely criminal. Putin started this war of choice in the absence of a real threat to Russian security--despiteRussian disinformation. Failure on the battlefield of an illegal and immoral conflict would hardly be a reason to resort to the world's most dangerous weapons. Ukraine is not a NATO member, and therefore the United States does not extend its nuclear umbrella over Ukraine. Nor are the United States and NATO currently involved inthe conflict militarily, so they have no obligation to respond using military force. That said, the United States, with its NATO allies, would need to coordinate a strong response that addresses the horror of Putin's nuclear attack on Ukraine, and detersfurther aggression. 3. Just out of curiosity, how much of the United States couldbe reached by a Russian nuclear attack? All of it. Russia deploys at least 1,500 warheads on hundreds of missiles based from air, land, and sea platforms that can strike the entire U.S. homeland. Russia also is developing brand new "novel" capabilities that can strike the U.S., like hypersonic missiles and a nuclear-powered cruise missile and torpedo. Fortunately,the United States also maintains a nuclear triad that can strike all of Russia, providing a strong deterrent to a Russian attack. The difference is that while Russia has modernized its nuclear forces about 90% of the way through, the U.S. still relies on platforms built during the Cold War. For instance,the U.S. is still squeezing life out of the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile that was designed in 1960. Programs to replace these outdated capabilities with modern systems are just getting underway, and each year must overcome opposition from far-left members of Congress. 4. Does the United States have an adequate missile defense systemin place under the worst-case scenario to defend itself or to defend allies from a Russian nuclear attack? Do Eastern European allies have adequate missile defense systems? Many Americans find it hard to believe that we have no way to defend against a major Russian nuclear attack. The U.S. missile defense system is designed to defend againstlimited nuclear attacks from rogue states such as North Korea. We have 44 homeland interceptors that could not defend against Russia's hundreds of nuclear missiles. Instead, it has been U.S. policy to rely on nuclear deterrence to address the Russian nuclear threat to the homeland. This policy has been a subject of debate for decades,with critics arguing that building up our missile defense will compel Russia to build more offensive weapons, even though history shows multiple examples of that not happening. In Europe, the U.S. deploys an Aegis Ashore missile defense system in Romania and is building one in Poland, but those are directed at the Iranian missile threat. Russia'smissile arsenal can overwhelm those systems. Moscow also alleges that the U.S. can launch offensive missiles from those defense systems at Russia, but that is also not true--the systems are purely defensive. 5. By most counts, Russia has several hundred more nuclear warheadsthan the United States. How relevant is this? Or would such a conflict bring such annihilation that it almost wouldn't matter? The disparity you see is explained by what we call Russia's "nonstrategic" nuclear weapons, which I spoke of earlier. When it comes to strategic nuclear forces, like ICBMsable to reach each other's homelands, the U.S. and Russia have rough parity from the New START arms control treaty. But New START excludes this entire category of nonstrategic weapons. As mentioned, Russia has at least 2,000 of these weapons, and is even predictedto double this number by the end of the decade. Meanwhile, the U.S. has only about 200 nonstrategic weapons--with only 100 forward-deployed to Europe. That's very concerning, because we don't want Russia to exploit itsnumeric advantage here and think it can get away with using these tactical weapons. The United States actually initiated development of a new nonstrategic weapon--a sea-launched cruise missile--but the Biden administration reportedly wants to scrap it.That would be dangerous. The United States needs to catch up in this category, reducing Russia's asymmetric advantage-to ensure it can fully deter Russia--and not to mention an increasingly nuclear-capable China, too. 6. Anything else about Russia's nuclear capabilities that Americansshould keep in mind as Putin's rhetoric harshens? Americans should understand the different roles that nuclear weapons play in Russia and in the U.S. Moscow considers its status as a major nuclear state critical to its desire to be treated as a great power. Despite public statements to the contrary, Moscow seems to believenuclear weapons can be used in a conflict to win. Russia violates nuclear treaties and lies about it. The United States views nuclear weapons as a tool primarily for deterrence--preventing war completely or preventing war from escalating beyond the conventional. While Russiabuilds new and dangerous nuclear systems, we have to fend off proposals from the left to dismantle our nuclear triad. Bottom line: As much as U.S. policymakers might like to wish away nuclear weapons from existence, unfortunately, the enemy gets a vote. But Putin’s actions in Ukraine are much bigger than a series of price increases. They threaten your savings, investments, and livelihood. More than that, they endanger your life and the lives of those you love. Russia mayhave the most advanced cyber-attack teams in the world. Such attacks threaten electricity, water, and food. Russia also holds the world’s largest nuclear arsenal. And Putin’s threats to use it, suddenly seem credible. A few days ago, New York Magazine ran a headline that asked publicly what people have been asking privately for months. “Is Putin Sane?” The New York Times recently noted that Putin “has fundamentally changed amid the pandemic.” They say the shift seems to have “left him more paranoid, more aggrieved, and more reckless.” People who speak with him regularly, including the President of Finland, say that he is not the same man. What happened? Romans One happened. Putin suppressed the truth in unrighteousness (verse 18). He exchanged the truth of God for a lie (verse 25). He did not see fit to acknowledge God (verse 28). Therefore, God gave him overto a depraved mind (verse 28). Without getting into detail it must be noted that Ukraine is an an important industrialized country and its independence is important to the rest of the world. They rankfirst in terms of arable land in Europe. They rank first in the world in the export of sunflower and sunflower oil. Russia�s deputy ambassador, Dmitry Polyanskiy, told the UN Security Council, which held a debate on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict on Wednesday said: �Russia doesn�t recognize Israel�s sovereignty over Golan Heights thatare part of Syria,�: https://www.jpost.com/middle-east/article-698512 So why is this of prophetic importance?? The Golan Heights, a rocky plateau in south-western Syria, has a political and strategic significance which clearly become advantageous to its owner. As of now, both Iranand Lebanon would have direct access through Israel via the Golan Heights. I suggest this area may now be one of financial significance. More on that in a moment. Historically speaking, the British colonial power gave the Golan to France�s Syrian colony in1923. After the 1948�49 Arab-Israeli War, the Golan Heights were partly demilitarized by the Israel-Syria Armistice Agreement. Furthermore, Syria attacked Israel in 1967 and lost the Golan Heights. Syria had occupied it for 44 years. During the closing stagesof the Six-Day War in 1967, Israel seized the Golan Heights from Syria and as a result, most of the Syrian Arab inhabitants fled the area during this conflict. Back in 2019, Israel�s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently thanked U.S. President Donald Trump for signing a proclamation recognizing Israel�s authority over thelong-disputed Golan Heights two weeks before Israeli elections were set to take place. Benjamin Netanyahu also referred to Trump as a modern Cyrus after the signing of the Golan Heights recognition. In his remarks, Benjamin Netanyahu mentioned the great leadersthrough history who have had a profound influence on the Jewish people and the state of Israel, including King Cyrus who liberated the Jews and issued an edict for the rebuilding of the Jewish temple in Jerusalem. This was the second time the comparison wasmade. For what it�s worth, remember that President Trump announced the moving of the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem and recognized it as Israel�s capital. This was done on May 14,2018, 70 years from the very birth of the nation of Israel which was on May 14, 1948. By the way, Trump�s formal recognition of the Golan Heights occurred on Purim, the festival that recognizes the utter defeat of the enemies of Israel. That�s another messagein itself. The town of Bashan was located in the middle of the Golan Heights. It was under the rule of an Amorite king, yet another giant whose name was Og. Now let�s fast forwardto the 21st Century. What could make the Golan Heights even more valuable to Israel? How about the discovery of a huge oil deposit? Back in 2015, The Russian Times (RT) and many other sourcesreported that Israel had indeed discovered a major deposit of oil on the Golan Heights. In addition, Israel granted a Golan Heights oil drilling license to an American Company. Recent tests have indicated that there very well may be large oil and gas depositsin the Golan!!! This discovery just may help readers to understand why Russia is making such a strong play to support the Assad regime in Syria. It also may explain why former prime MinisterBenjamin Netanyahu was lobbying the US to support its bid to annex the Golan Heights in view of the failed state of Syria. It appears that the prophetic scenario in Ezekiel 36-39 is beginning to take shape as Russia moves more military assets into and closeto Syria. Turkey is also sending troops and has troops situated in Northern Syria. Iran too has troops amassed north of the Golan Heights. Is this the spoil and plunder that is spoken of in Ezekiel 39?? I don�t foresee the Golan Heights in a land for peacedeal. The bottom line here is that God�s prophetic word is coming to pass. It is very possible that the enemies of Israel are gathering for an attack from the Golan Heights. Remember,in the Bible whenever Israel was invaded, the invasion always came from the North. Most don�t know the history of Ukraine. The country is made up of three groups of people. The first are central Ukrainians who are neutral and have mixed feelings about both the West and Russia, most of them speak Russian. The second group are southern and eastern Ukrainians who speak Russian and consider themselves to be Russian mostly. They live in Odessa, Crimea, Donbas and Kharkov. The third and smallest group are western Ukrainians, who are extremely Russophobe and have their center in Lvov, and they are not Orthodox. They are mostly Roman CatholicsUniates or Latin Rite, and they do not speak Russian. They speak Ukrainian, which is so similar to Russian that many think it is more a matter of different dialects. These western Ukrainians are mostly leftovers from once powerful Poland that competed withRussia for control of Ukraine. This unnatural union of three different-minded groups of people was created by Lenin for the first time 100 years ago. And therefore we have a civil war for the last eightyears and it is not the first one. Millions of Russian-speaking Ukrainians were killed by western Ukrainians during Hitler occupation of Ukraine. Historically Ukraine was only Kiev and the lands that surroundit. Ukraine in both Russian and Ukrainian literally means �Border land.� So to be Ukrainian would mean to be Borderian. And, indeed, Ukraine became the border (a fault line) of many competing superpowers. But it is a historical fact that Russian Christian culture started in Kiev, but Russians failed to spread to the West so they went to the East and moved their politicalpower to Moscow and St. Petersburg. During the Second World War, Western Ukrainians for various reasons joined Hitler to fight the USSR, and to this day, Western Ukraine remains a lair of neo-Nazism and Banderism(named after Bandera, the Ukrainian Nazi leader). The new pro-Western government that was established in 2014, has banned Russian language in public and has unleashed neo-Nazi Banderists across Kiev, and Russian-speakingEastern and Southern Ukraine. They even managed to burn 39 Russian-Ukrainians alive in Odessa�s Trade Union Hall. These events triggered a war in eastern Donbas region and led to Crimea�s separation. For eight years, war in Eastern Ukraine lasted. killing 14,000 people, mostly Russian speaking civilians. In 2018, Ukraine ended its strategic partnership agreement with Russia and says it wants to enter NATO. Russia being a superpower does not want US-NATO troops and missilesin Ukraine, and that is why we have this tragic invasion. Both Ukraine and Russia belong to the Jurisdiction of the Russian Orthodox Church. The Patriarch of Russia, Cyril, is in a very bad position, because both Ukrainian OrthodoxChurch and many Ukrainian soldiers are under his spiritual care. If he condemns the invasion that could end the eight-year war and Russophobe and anti-Orthodox government, he does no good to his people in Ukraine and the Church. But ifhe embraces war he abandons many central and western Ukrainians who are loyal to the Moscow Patriarchate but are willing to defend the current Ukraine, and also many who are just conscripts. But Vladimir Putin has already warned that he is willing to use nuclear weapons against anyone that intervenes in the conflict. Should we take that threat seriously? A bear that feels like it has been backed into a corner is a very dangerous thing, and that is especially true when that bear possesses highly advanced nuclear weapons. But the warmongers in Congress see no reason why this should deter us from taking action. On Friday, U.S. Representative Adam Kinzinger publicly called for the establishmentof a no-fly zone over Ukraine on Twitter� Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) called for the U.S. to declare a no-fly zone over Ukraine to give the country�s military a �fair fight� against invading Russian forces. �The fate of #Ukraine is being decided tonight, but also the fate of the west. Declare a #NoFlyZone over Ukraine at the invitation of their sovereign govt,� Kinzinger tweetedon Friday. The only way that statement can be considered rational is if Kinzinger truly believes that Vladimir Putin would never actually use nuclear weapons against the United States. Unfortunately, Kinzinger is not alone. On Monday, U.S. Senator Roger Wicker also spoke in favor of a no-fly zone over Ukraine� But it�s not just nobody Republicans like Kinzinger saying this stuff. Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., also endorsed the idea of creating a no-fly zone over Ukraine. �Clearly,in the absence of a U.N. resolution, which Russia would veto, a strong coalition of like-minded nations should step in and seriously consider this,� Wicker told HuffPost on Monday. Wicker isn�t some back-bencher. He�ll likely become the next top Republicanon the Senate Armed Services Committee after Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla., resigns later this year. Unlike Kinzinger, Wicker actually has a bright political future, and so that makes his statement even more alarming. Not to be outdone, U.S. Senator Rob Portman is actually suggesting that Ukraine should immediately be made a member of NATO� On Sunday, Sen. Rob Portman, an Ohio Republican and a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said on Meet The Press that we should right away bring Ukraine andother countries, like Georgia, into NATO. Bringing Ukraine into NATO, a mutual defense treaty, would of course trigger Article V, which obligates all NATO members to come to the defense of a member that�s under attack. In this case, that would mean � you guessedit � the U.S. going to war with Russia. Does Portman really want us to fight such a war? First of all, after not being able to defeat the Taliban despite being in Afghanistan for 20 years, is the U.S. military actually prepared for such a fight? I think that the answer to that question is obvious. Secondly, does Portman actually believe that both sides would restrain themselves from using nuclear weapons for the duration of such a conflict? I honestly do not understand how people like this actually get elected to Congress. The good news is that the Biden administration has ruled out a �no-fly zone� over Ukraine for now. But the Washington Post is suggesting that the door for such a move has been left open based on this exchange between White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki and a reporter� PETER ALEXANDER: On military, is there any way in which the U.S. would support a no-fly zone over Ukraine? PSAKI: Well, here�s what important for everybody to know about a no-fly zone: What that would require is implementation by the U.S. military. It would essentially mean theU.S. military would be shooting down planes � Russian planes. That is definitely escalatory. That would potentially put us into a place where we�re in a military conflict with Russia. That is not something the president wants to do. KRISTEN WELKER: So, that�s a no on that. PSAKI: Those are all the reasons why that�s not a good idea. I really wish that Psaki would have clearly stated that a no-fly zone will never happen. But she didn�t do that. And of course Biden has repeatedly broken his promises anyway, and so any promise the Biden administration makes today could easily be broken tomorrow. Let us hope that cooler heads prevail, because a military conflict with Russia could go nuclear very easily. Within the last week, Vladimir Putin has publicly threatened western powers with nuclear destruction two times� In a nationally televised address last Thursday, Putin offered a menacing warning of Russia�s nuclear capability: �No matter who tries to stand in our way or all the moreso create threats for our country and our people, they must know that Russia will respond immediately, and the consequences will be such as you have never seen in your entire history.� On Sunday, Putin went even further by announcing that Russia�s nuclearforces have been put on high alert, an order that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called �dangerous rhetoric� and �irresponsible behavior,� which �adds to the seriousness of the situation.� There are many in the western world that are absolutely convinced that Putin is bluffing. But he sure wasn�t bluffing about invading Ukraine, was he? And I think that it is important to note that Putin has reportedly moved his family into an underground city in Siberia that is designed to survive a nuclear war� Vladimir Putin has in recent days hidden his family members in an �underground city� in Siberia, according to a Russian professor. The luxury hi-tech bunker is located in the Altai Mountains and was designed for protection in the event of nuclear war, said political scientist Valery Solovey, 61. We need to understand that the mindset in Russia these days is completely different from the mindset in the western world. To most people in the United States and Europe, the use of nuclear weapons is absolutely unthinkable. But over in Russia, one of their most prominent news anchors just went on a wild rant in which he warned that western nations could be obliterated by �more than 500 nuclearwarheads� if they continue to mess with Russia� VLADIMIR Putin�s �propaganda chief� has threatened the West with nuclear annihilation during a rambling broadcast on Russian TV. And right now Russian nuclear submarines are conducting �drills� that are alarming many military experts� Russian nuclear submarines sailed off for drills in the Barents Sea and mobile missile launchers roamed snow forests Tuesday in Siberia after President Vladimir Putin orderedhis nation�s nuclear forces put on high alert over tensions with the West over the invasion of Ukraine. Russia�s Northern Fleet said in a statement that several of its nuclear submarines were involved in exercises designed to �train maneuvering in stormy conditions.� It saidseveral warships tasked with protecting northwest Russia�s Kola Peninsula, where several naval bases are located, would join the maneuvers. The Russians have the capability to launch an absolutely devastating first strike from their super quiet �black hole� nuclear submarines. From positions just off our coasts, those submarines could potentially reduce much of our defenses to ashes in just a matter of minutes. Unfortunately, most Americans don�t understand how serious this threat is. A nuclear war with Russia must be avoided, because the consequences would be unimaginable. Thankfully, the federal government has issued some updated guidelines for how ordinary Americans should respond if a nuclear attack does actually happen� Stay inside for 24 hours unless local authorities provide other instructions. Continue to practice social distancing by wearing a mask and by keeping a distance of at leastsix feet between yourself and people who not part of your household. Kennedy say live on TV something like: �The United States shall consider anymissile launched from Cuba to be a direct attack by the Soviet Union upon this nation, which will bring a full retaliatory response by the United States upon the Soviet Union.� The president�s famous smile had been wiped away and a grim expression had taken its place. Even at only twenty, I knew there had never been such a critical moment in humanhistory, so far as potential for war was concerned. The missile crisis of October 1962 had brought mankind to the brink of all-out nuclear war. Many years later, it was learned that only the refusal of one Soviet submariner to agree to launching a missile prevented initiating a conflagration. The sub�s command wasunder the mistaken impression that Soviet military assets had been attacked with nuclear warheads. The Soviet naval officer was the third vote required to send the nuclear missiles toward their targets. Two of his fellow officers, one of them being the sub�s commander,voted yes. He voted no, so the missiles weren�t launched. It was the right decision, and, after days of tense standoffs and negotiations directly between Kennedy and Soviet Premiere Nikita Khrushchev, the most dangerous nuclear confrontation in history dissolvedback into less-threatening cold-war status. Both Kennedy and Khrushchev�particularly Khrushchev�have been credited with and lauded for showing great restraint in preventing all-out atomic war. This, because the Sovietdictator started dismantling the nuclear missiles on the Cuban island. I knew little about the details of Bible prophecy at that age, although I had been taught prophecy from the pre-Trib viewpoint since I was very young. I can remember vividly,as a six-year-old, hearing Pastor Harris in the Seventh Street Tabernacle in Pekin, Illinois, preaching on the Rapture of the Church. The belief that the Lord knows the end from the beginning was never a point to question in my thinking. But when the Cubanmissile crisis was in full bloom, I admit I didn�t think about all that. I was very worried�as was most every American who kept up with the unfolding events. My na�ve understanding was that these geopolitical leaders had indeed been responsible for applying the restraint of common sense in preventing the world from being blownup. I even found a modicum of appreciation for Khrushchev, who had, a year or two earlier, boasted that he would bury us. And now, in 2022, some are saying we are facing the greatest threat to world peace and of nuclear annihilation since the Cuban missile crisis of October 1962. These six decades later, I have no fear whatsoever of nuclear world annihilation. Thus, even though Russian President Vladimir Putin has just said something to the effectthat if anyone tries to interfere with his going into Ukraine, they will experience something that they have never faced in all of history. By this, the diplomats of the world began thinking Putin meant he would unleash nuclear attacks against the US if Americanforces tried to intervene. At this moment of writing, it seems there is no restraint whatsoever from the Russian side. And many, including yours truly, believe that America�s current leadership eitherdoesn�t know how to restrain the nuclear demon, or is using the attack on Ukraine in a wag-the-dog move to distract from all this presidential administration�s failures at every level. Despite the seemingly out-of-control movement toward possible nuclear conflict, like I say, I have no fear of the world ending through atomic warfare. I�ve learned much since I was that na�ve youth of 1962. I have learned to trust, without reservation, our God�s ability to restrain even the most horrific of man�s proclivityfor self-destruction. I now know the end from the beginning, because my Father in Heaven has told those who believe His prophetic Word that there will be �wars and rumors of wars,� and He hassaid that we should look for them. But He has also foretold that �the end is not yet� when we hear of those wars and rumors of war. Our Heavenly Father has also told us that particular developments must take place as the end of human history plays out. That process does not include all-out nuclear destructionprior to the Rapture of the Church. Following that great event, the red horse of war will indeed ride. As much as three-fourths of humanity will be killed by the judgments; most of the destruction almost certainlywill come from nuclear weapons being unleashed. The black horse of famine and the chloros horse of death and Hell will quickly ride upon a planet of rebels deserving of God�s wrath. Since the atomic bombs fell in 1945 on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the nuclear demon has been restrained. Not one such weapon has been allowed to be releasedin warfare, only in testing. This, in itself, is a miracle of God. It won�t be any human leader or other human agency that will restrain the nuclear demon. The demon about which physicist Dr. Robert Oppenheimer remarked upon witnessingthe first atomic explosion at the site called Trinity might be referenced obliquely in his following statement: The explosion brought to Oppenheimer�s mind words from the Bhagavad Gita: �Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.� I believe that it is God�s mighty hand that will continue to restrain the nuclear demon�and all other wickedness�until the Restrainer, the Holy Spirit who indwells believersin Christ�is removed when we are called into the clouds to be with Jesus for eternity. ---------------------------------------------- Waiting in the Wings - By Jan Markell � www.olivetreeviews.org Gog is stirring and evil is rising. Thanks to this blundering invasion, more than ever, he needs the natural resources and other "wealth" of Israel. The conflict in Ukraine is an end-time turning point. It is much more than �wars and rumors of wars� predicted in the Bible for the end-of-days. It is further destabilizinga world that is already groaning, fearful and weary. It is impossible to keep up with the signs of the times. But the world lacks a strong, forceful leader. You cannot point to a capital in the world today that reflects leadership.And that�s when tyrants rise. One wonders if it is 1942 or 2022. Watching refugees on the run, having left possessions, people and even pets behind, tears at the heart. One day they had a normal, prosperouslife and the next, they were being hunted. The strong, and particularly bullies, always want to destroy the weak. Is this a temporary catastrophe or is it leading to WWIII? How does it fit into biblical prophecy? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads andten horns. 8, The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose nameswere not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.” (Revelation 17:5-8) As we studied the end of Daniel's book in chapter 10-12 in our last message, we explored the possible rise again of the “Holy” Roman Empire after it's defeat in 1798 andthe Pope was imprisoned coinciding with the Catholic Church's influence over the whole earth dwindled and she changed her leopard spots and instead of a wolf, began to project the image of being harmless as a lamb. But times are changing in these final daysof man's rule upon the earth and I believe the connection between Daniel and Revelation points to a resurgence of the political power wielded by Rome during the Dark Ages. DANIEL'S INTERPRETION REVISITED In Daniel chapter 2, Daniel is given the interpretation of King Nebachadnezzer's dream of a golden idol and the true God in heaven reveals the kingdoms that will arise afterBabylon is replaced as the world power. Then at the end of the book, Gabriel the ark angel reveals the future of these kingdoms, their rise and their fall. Daniel was astonished and said: “ And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? “ (Daniel 12:8). It was not for Daniel to know, as the future was forward some 500+ years before part of the vision was fulfilled, but another 2000 years to come to our time...our time ofthe end, when the prophecy is set to be completed. The two books of prophecy in Daniel and Revelation have given many scholars trouble understanding and the average Joe on the street steers clear of prophecy to his detriment,as “ the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of the prophecy.” (Revelation 19:10b) Let us now examine certain aspects of Daniel and the book of Revelation to show how they are forever connected with one another, as they speak of the same events in differentways. In Daniel 2:43, the Word of God says that the seed of men will mingle: “And just as you saw the iron mixed with baked clay, so the people will be a mixture and will not remain united, any more than iron mixes with clay.” The great obscurity of this verse is partially cleared by a reference to Jeremiah 31:27-28: 27 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast. 28 And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and 44 “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shallbreak in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.”(Daniel 2:44) Man will form his plans for uniting the discordant parts of this empire, by, in the past, encouraging marriages between the royal families that rule the various componentkingdoms. The allusion in this verse is to matrimonial alliances contracted between the Ptolemies and the Seleucidae : 6 “And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king's daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shallnot retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.” 17 “He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women,corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him”. (Daniel 11:6; Daniel 11:17), This did not, however, succeed in producing permanent harmony or union between them. Each kingdom fell until the Roman Empire became the strongest, “like iron that breaks” until they imploded from within and the kingdom was given over to Papal rule instead of pagan rule, which is a contradiction in terms, as both were just the flip side of the same coin. We discussed this in our last message, but let us move on when the truthis revealed in Revelation when is was obscure in Daniel's time. REVELATION, REVEALING PROPHECY IN JESUS CHRIST The testimony of Christ, a testimony of the most solemn character, is to be borne to the world. All through the book of Revelation there are the most precious, elevatingpromises, and there are also warnings of the most fearfully solemn import. Will not those who profess to have a knowledge of the truth read the testimony given to John by Christ? Here there is no guesswork, no scientific deception. Here are the truths thatconcern our present and future welfare. “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel untohis servant John: 2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.” (Revelation 1:1-3) Beginning with chapter 1 of Revelation with the description of the One who stood among the seven golden candle sticks, with seven stars in His hand that represented theseven Asian Churches at the time, and the future which represents the time period of the Christian Church until the return of Christ. Thus there are three applications that can be made. -The first is the literal letter to the literal Church -the second is the application showing the time period of the Christian Church until the return of Christ, -and lastly certain aspects we find in these messages apply to the condition of our own Christian experience. This is a vision that was given to John by Jesus Christ Himself, as He spoke to John as the sound of a trumpet. Each successive period of church history shows that downthrough the ages, the church of Jesus Christ has had 7 periods in church history that Jesus reveals to John with the last being the church of the end times, the Laodecian Church of luke warm believers that have fallen into apostasy. COME UP HITHER The book of Revelation makes a defined shift after chapter 3 leading into chapter 4, as John is called by the sound of trumpet calling: “After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither,and I will show you things which must be hereafter. 2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. 3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.” (Revelation 4:1-3) This is a different vision given to John and they run concurrently, as God reveals the opening of the 7 seals of judgment upon the earth. Notice one of the first thing Johnsees after the description of “One who sat upon the throne” is 24 elders sitting on their respective thrones. Many people have tried to imply and to interpret who these elders are. First let us look at their descriptions: “And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crownsof gold.” (Revelation 4:4) Note that they are clothed in white raiment which stands for righteousness which is defined in chp. 19 of Revelation in describing the bride of Christ, and the armies whocome back with Jesus to reign and rule. So they are clothed with the righteousness of Christ and a crown of victory. They have been in warfare with sin and overcome. (sin is only upon this earth) They are seen in heaven before the sequence of the seals beginsand have been redeemed from among men. They have crowns of gold on their heads, which represents rewards for service. This is none other than the crown of life or crown of righteousness that the Lord gives to those that have endured temptation and have foughtthe good fight of faith, finishing their course and have overcome. Since they can't be angels, as angels are in service to those of the redeemed, the Church, then the vision shows redeemed mortal men saved by the blood of the Lamb. Theyhave received rewards, they are seated, as they have received victory over their struggles with evil. The rewards of service to God Almighty comes only in one time period…the Bema Judgment Seat of Christ (1st. Corinthians 3:10-15) to receive rewards for thingsdone for Christ in this life. They are a multiple of the number 12, as the number 12 is the divine sign of government. The only explanation is that this is the Church, redeemed from the earth and taken to heaven just before the wrath of God is poured out uponthe earth. Remember what Jesus said in chapter 3 of this book: “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon theearth.” (Revelation 3:10) The original Greek tells us that Jesus is saying as we will be taken out of this time period, not through as some erroneously believe. Beginning in chapter 6 of this Revelation, it is reveals the plagues that come upon the earth, starting with the four horseman of the Apocalypse. As Daniel saw in vision the rise of a great beast out of the sea and described in terrible ferocity, so too does Revelation speak of this beast that comes, but first Goddescribes him as a rider on a white horse, with a bow in his hands. Revelation 6:2 “And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.” (Revelation6:2) The man has a bow, but no arrows. He rides a white horse, which is a false sign of purity and righteousness. He goes to conquer, but with words of flattery, words of deceit,and political power given to him by other nations as their supreme leader. He has a crown, but unlike the King of kings, his crown is a crown of conquest and victory, much like the victor's crown of leaves given to Roman athletes in the Colosseum. We are reintroduced to this man in chapter 17 noted in the opening verses of this message: 6, “And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. 7, And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads andten horns. 8, The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose nameswere not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.” (Revelation 17:5-8) I've spoken of this in past messages, that the woman is a harlot. In scripture, the sign of a harlot woman is a sign of a religious organization that has prostituted itselfto false gods, and doctrines of demons and devils. Greek porne - Meaning “prostitute,” “harlot.” Porne probably goes back to a word meaning “to sell” or “to export for sale” such things as slaves. In Greece, prostitutes were usually purchased slaves. The OldTestament prophets often compare apostate Israel, which repeatedly went “a whoring” after heathen gods, (Ezekiel 23:30; Isaiah 23:17; Ezekiel 16:15) with an adulterous woman. Concerning mystical Babylon as a harlot (Revelation 19:2) For Old Testament passageswhose thought or wording is similar to that of chapter 17, see Isaiah 47:1; Jeremiah 25:12; 50:1; Ezekiel 26:13. She has slain millions upon millions of the innocent down through the ages and is drunk with their blood. She has a sign of her habitation of sitteth upon many waters. Exercising power over many “peoples” and “nations.” (see verse 15) The form of the verb in Greek presents the “great whore” as in power at the time and as continuing to exercise power. As the ancient city of Babylon was situated upon the literal waters of the Euphrates (see Jeremiah 50:12, 38) and dwelt figuratively “upon many waters” or peoples, (Jeremiah 51:12-13;cf. Isaiah 8:7-8; 14:6; Jeremiah 50:23) so modern Babylon is represented as sitting upon or oppressing the peoples of earth. (Revelation 16:12) This whore in but a metamorphosis of ancient Babylon who received power from the imploding Roman Empire and insteadof Caesar became the leader of a pagan religion. But look again at the end of verse 8 of the above passage in chapter 17: “the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.” Who have we revealed as the persecutor and tormentor of millions of non-compliant Christians and Jews throughout the Dark Ages? Who has robes of scarlet and purple, pearlsand costly jewels? Who was defeated in 1798 by France and “that was, and is not, yet is”? There is only one institution that fulfills every aspect of this description that seeks a return of her former glory and sadly, my Catholic friends, it is the Roman CatholicChurch hierarchy headed by the Pope of Rome. I take no pleasure in warning of this “religion”, but even as much as I would warn of Islam and it's “religion”, because people follow a creation, and institution, a man-made parallel to worshiping God in vain andboth, if a person is not careful, will lead those people to hell. Both proclaim a different way to God instead of the true way through Jesus Christ. This present “Pope” has clearly stated that there are alternative ways to heaven. “Just be good” is what hesays giving a pass to atheist, Muslims, and any other aberration to the Truth of God's Word. Thus the head of this “religion” denies that Jesus is the Only Way back to God the Father. Jesus calls this institution, “a beast” which represents kingdoms or political powers. (Daniel 7:3-7, 17; 8:3, 5, 20-21; cf. Revelation 12:3; 13:1) The color of this beastno doubt representing a sinful kingdom, not just sinful but one that thought to change the law of God. 25 “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given intohis hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.” (Daniel 7:25) The names of blasphemy with which it is covered indicate that it stands in opposition to God. Accordingly, the beast itself may be identified as Satan working through thosepolitical agencies in all ages that have submitted to her control. In certain respects this beast resembles the great red dragon of Revelation 12:3, and in others the leopard like beast of Revelation 13:1-2 . The context makes the latterrelationship appear to be closer. The chief difference between the beast of chapter 13 and that of chapter 17 is that in the former, which is identified with the papacy, no distinction is made between the religious and the political aspects of Papal power,whereas in the latter the two are distinct. The beast representing political power and the woman a religious power. ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT AND ONE WORLD RELIGION I have covered this before, but for this message, I will briefly touch on it again. The United Nations coupled with the USA and the rest of the world are pushing for a completeand total control of every aspect of human life and endeavor by the year 2030. Agenda 21 introduced in the 1990's has morphed into 'SUBSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT” and their aim is a one world government. Stage right, the pope in Rome advocating the implementationof this nefarious scheme for complete control of planet earth. And it is reported that he has commanded that this be taught in every parish that he controls through his priest. Some will scoff, but coupled with the foolish notion of “climate change” the earthdwellers are being primed for tyranny and a one world government. What better way to unite the world, than to unite them in the same religious authority. “Which was, and is not, but is” and will rise again. She has inherited and proclaimed the abominationsof ancient Babylon: Seduction. By seducing the kings of the earth into illicit unionwith her, in order to further her own sinister designs. Oppressive despotism. By sitting upon “many waters” and oppressingthe people of earth. ' Contributing to human delinquency. By making the people of earthexcept for the saints, drunk with the wine of her political policy thus causing them to become her accomplices in her evil plot. By her fornication, she “did corrupt the earth” (Revelation 19:2) Drunkeness. By being “drunken with the blood of the saints,who had offended her by refusing to drink of her evil potion of error or to submit to her ambition to rule the earth. Murder and attempted murder. By plotting the murder of God'speople, the “woman” of chapter 12. This political/religious organization has been anti-semitic from her inception and has attempted to destroy the Jewish nation, even through Nazi Germany of which she was in bed with. Note in the verses, that she rides the beast and controls him though from the beast perspective, reluctantly. She guides its policy. The beast representing political powerand the “harlot woman” the spiritual power of the last days found in the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation. But who controls this beast of Revelation...the Catholic church is but a tool of the supreme deceiver who will arise out of the bottomless pit. When the beast exists again as “the eighth,” “they that dwell on the earth shall wonder whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the worldwhen they behold the beast.” Remember the analogy of the sixth pope stepping down to take the helm of the European Union and then taking it up again from the seventh who will become the false prophet, until the beast “will burn her with fire and eat her flesh”.(For a refresher course, if you have not read part 1. then see my blog and read how the 8th pope comes into existence.) To review the message, go here: http://blogger.com/2021/11/two-popes-in-rome-7and-8anti-christ-and.html (copy and paste) A very similar statement is made in Revelation 13 beast of that chapter when its deadly wound is healed: “All the world wondered after the beast … And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from thefoundation of the world.” If chapter 13 refers to the same event as Revelation 17:8, it means the statement “his deadly wound was healed” (Revelation 13:3) is equivalent to the expression “shallascend out of the bottomless pit.” (Revelation 17:8; Revelation 20:3, 7) In a similar way the words “did live” (Revelation 13:14) would be equivalent to the expressions “yet is” and “he is the eighth.” (Revelation 17:8, 11) The wounding of the head, (Revelation13:3) the going “into captivity” and “the wound by a sword” (Revelation 13:10, 14) would have their counterpart in the implied descent of the “beast” into the “bottomless pit.” (Revelation 17:8) And “death” (Revelation 13:3) would be equivalent to the “bottomlesspit” phase of the experience of the beast. The similarities noted here tend to identify the seventh head of the beast as the Papal head. If there be any doubt, then I invite you to take these scriptures passages and read them for yourself and then decide whothe description fits and who is pandering to the whole religious world telling them to “Come home to the mother church” . My reader, the book of Daniel was a prophecy of what was to come upon the earth, but history has proven it to be correct. Asking the Ukrainians to fight Russia is like asking a skinny 10-year-old boy to fight a 25-year-old heavyweight boxing champion. It isn�t a fair fight. Many Ukrainians have fought bravely for their country, and this has given the Russian military more problems than they originally anticipated. But as Clint Ehrlich has pointed out, Russia�s early struggles actually make the possibility of any sort of a negotiated conclusion to this conflict must less likely� But the humiliating struggles they�ve experienced, which have been broadcast around the world, change the political calculus. Russia no longer has the option of looking like a magnanimous victor by accepting a negotiated ceasefire. If President Putin accepts something like a conditional surrender that preserves the integrity of the Ukrainian government, that will be spun as a defeat for Russia. It may sound paradoxical from the outside, but Russia�s *tactical defeats* now make *strategic victory* imperative. To preserve Russia�s aspiration to be a superpower, there must be no doubt at the end of the war who the victor was. It must be Russia. By a crushing margin. Even if it takes longer than originally anticipated, Russia will undoubtedly win this war. And more Ukrainians will needlessly die with each passing day. Of course it was the U.S. and other western powers that set the stage for all of this. In 2014, the Obama administration and other western powers were behind the color revolution which violently overthrew the democratically elected government in Ukraine. That resulted in an extremely violent civil war between the new U.S.-backed government and the separatists which were backed by Russia. Things were relatively stable during the Trump administration, but then the Biden administration started filling Zelensky�s head with all sorts of ideas about joining NATOand taking Donetsk and Luhansk by force. And Zelensky bought into what Biden administration officials were telling him hook, line and sinker. The Russians tried to negotiate, but Zelensky and the Biden administration steadfastly refused to compromise. So the Russians felt like they were out of options, and now the Biden administration does not want to fight a war that they helped to cause. And even though his country is now being destroyed, Zelensky is continuing to talk tough� Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky issued an address to the Russian people on Thursday, according to state media, in which he announced that Russia would pay �reparations� and rebuild �everything� the ongoing war has destroyed in Ukraine. Oh really? Precisely how does Zelensky plan to achieve that? The Ukrainian government is also encouraging their citizens to make Molotov cocktails and to set up barriers to block the progress of Russians tanks� The tone of Zelensky�s speech on Thursday, as reported by the government news site Ukrinform, was significantly less conciliatory than his address to the Russian peoplelast week shortly after Putin began a full-scale assault of Ukraine, in which he emphasized friendly relations between Ukrainian and Russian people and urged Russians to pressure Putin to stop the war. The shift in tone aligns with that of statements fromUkrainian outlets on Wednesday declaring that Russian soldiers would be �slaughtered like pigs� if they attempted to surrender. Ukrainian government social media outlets are actively encouraging civilians to make Molotov cocktails, build roadblocks, and otherwiseparticipate in the war. Instead of telling women and children to fight the war that they helped to cause, I would like to see Zelensky and his associates get out of the bunker and do some fightingthemselves. And I would also like to see Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Antony Blinken, Jake Sullivan and other members of the Biden administration fly over to Ukraine and join the battle. Of course the same thing applies to Vladimir Putin. Instead of hiding in a bunker in the mountains, I would like to see him on the front lines. Needless to say, none of these global leaders are actually going to participate in the fight. They are way too important for that. Instead, we are going to continue to see women and children face off against Russian tanks, and that is a disgrace. Wouldn�t it be great if the international rules of war were changed to say that those that start a war must fight in it? But instead of fighting for Ukraine, the global elite are attempting to put lots of pressure on Russia in other ways. And as Ukrainian cities are pummeled by relentless shelling, the U.S. Army has decided that now is a great time to be �putting its soldiers through training on gender pronouns�� While Russia wages a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the U.S. Army is putting its soldiers through training on gender pronouns and coaching officers on when to offer soldiersgender transition surgery, according to an official military presentation on the subject obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. The mandatory presentation, �Policy on the Military Service of Transgender Persons and Persons with Gender Dysphoria,� was given to officers earlier this month along withinstructions for them to train their subordinates on the material. Portions of the presentation were provided to the Free Beacon by a whistleblower who was ordered to undergo the training as a high-ranking officer in the Army Special Forces. As we sit in comfort here in the western world, major Ukrainian cities are being ruthlessly encircled by Russian forces. Millions of Ukrainians will soon be very cold and very hungry as they are relentlessly shelled by the mighty Russian military machine. But most Ukrainians never wanted any of this.
