BIDEN WATCH: 7.16.22 - And It Is A Really Bad Sign

The Biden oil debacle - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com There is much more to Joe Biden’s emptying of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) than what the news media and his failing administration is letting on. While everyone isfocused on just the record high prices of gasoline at the pump, they are failing to report the greater dangers at hand for the American public: food availability, consumer goods, and military readiness. Pump prices are just the tip of the iceberg because theprices of most everything people consume are tied to the rise in oil costs. The Biden energy policy is weakening the ability of the US to defend itself if a greater war breaks out by exporting oil overseas, even to China. And Hunter Biden’s name is once againassociated with corruption. Having said that, it is now revealed that under the guise of easing the record increases in gasoline prices at the pump “in response to Vladimir Putin’s war of choice againstUkraine,” the Department of Energy announced in April that it was selling “1 million barrels per day from the SPR for the next six months.” Reuters reports that this action “is draining the SPR, which last month fell to the lowest since 1986. U.S. crude futuresare above $100 per barrel and gasoline and diesel prices above $5 a gallon in one-fifth of the nation.” Reuters also reported on July 5th that “More than 5 million barrels of oil that were part of a historic U.S. emergency reserves release to lower domesticfuel prices were exported to Europe and Asia last month, according to data and sources, even as U.S. gasoline and diesel prices hit record highs.” Not only is Biden selling US oil to Europe and Asia, he may be enriching his own family. It just so happens that in that April sale of America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserveabout a million barrels of oil was sold to Unipec America, the trading arm of Sinopec, owned by the Communist Chinese government. The Washington Free Beacon reports that BHR Partners, a private equity firm Hunter Biden cofounded in 2013, “bought a $1.7 billionstake in Sinopec Marketing in 2015. Biden at one point owned a 10 percent stake in BHR Partners through his wholly owned firm, Skaneateles, LLC…Chinese business records still list Biden’s firm as a BHR shareholder, and Washington, D.C., records still showBiden as the firm’s owner.” Owner or not, the selling of oil to China is detrimental to America. Biden’s policies are draining the SPR, and instead of lowering gas prices they are causing record fuelprices, food prices and damaging every aspect of personal finances. Moreover, Biden may be lining his family’s pockets with under the table deals by his son Hunter. Congressman Troy Nehis (R-TX) summed it up, saying, “While you are paying FIVE DOLLARS a gallonat the pump and struggling to pay your electricity bill, Biden just sold one million barrels of our reserved oil to China so his family can make a buck. This is impeachable.” Proverbs 29:2 says, When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: butwhen the wicked bear rule, the people mourn.” Not much rejoicing these days about the wickedness ruling over America. But the veneer of non-racism is thin and the tone of the wood beneath bubbles to the top when people like former StarTrek actor turned gay activist George Takei said of Thomas, He is a clown in blackface sitting on the Supreme Court. Then Takei tried to downplay what he said by explaining that the use of the term Blackface in theater lingo is not racist, but rather partof a racist history in this country. Really? Angry Black man, they say. The Federalist wrote a July 5 story about why the racist left smears Clarence Thomas as an Angry Black Man. The article begins with examples: Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is a person of grievance harboring resentment, [and] anger, reported no less an authority than Hillary Clinton during an appearance last week on CBS. In ignoring Thomass ideas to smear his temperament, Clinton pulledfrom the same playbook leftists have been using against Thomas since even before his 1991 confirmation hearings. The New York Times once called Thomas the Supreme Courts youngest and angriest. Times columnist Frank Rich accused him of rage and unreconstructedracial bitterness. In a June 27 Newsweek OpEd, CEO of the FCB Radio Network, Darvio Morrow, a Black man, wrote that White liberals"the same people who lecture us about systemic racismmadehateful social media comments about Thomas, and as of the writing of the article, many of these tweets are still up on Twitter. Examples he cited: "Clarence Thomas is a dirty porch monkey and as a trans woman I'm giving every one permission to use the nword on him."; "Clarence Thomas really wants to own slaves and to be able to call Black people N*****. In front of white people. And laugh. Coon ass motherf*****."; "Clarence Thomas: just another dumb field N*****." "Doesn't the N***** realize his rights arenext. Morrow concludes: It only further reinforces every critique I have about modern white progressivism. He continues, Many of these people do not view Black people as equals but as tools that give credibility and moral authority to their ideology. Many white progressives viewthemselves as the "savior" of Black people, and as a result, they unconsciously believe we owe them our undying loyalty. That's why when anyone crosses them, they attack with a particular level of venom. Remember the leftist criticism launched at misogynistracists who questioned why Brown Jackson refused to define woman? Racism is a double standard with leftists. As in James 1:8, A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Think about how that works for an entire group of double-minded people, andlook at the state of our country today because of them. ------------------------------ Why Biden's 'Gestures' to the Palestinians Will Not Bring Peace or Stability- by Bassam Tawil - https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/18699/biden-israel-gestures-palestinians On the eve of President Joe Biden's visit to the Middle East, Israel is once again being asked by the US administration to make "gestures" to the Palestinian Authority. Thepurpose of these measures, according to the Americans, is to strengthen the Palestinian Authority (PA) and its president, Mahmoud Abbas. The PA, of course, is not being required by the Americans or other international parties to make any "gestures" or "concessions" to rein in terrorism (here, here, and here),support for it, murder as a jobs program, or to treat its own people with increased regard for either a more prosperous future or human rights. There is much that the Palestinian Authority can do to ease tensions and help create a suitable atmosphere for the resumption of the peace process with Israel. The PA could, for example, stop the incitement against Israel, halt payments to families of terrorists, condemn terrorism and crack down on terror groups operating under its control. Yet there is no reason why the Palestinian leadership should do anything so long as no one is asking it to. Instead of halting the incitement, the Palestinian Authority is continuing to encourage hostility and even violence. As the Biden administration is talking about the need for "gestures," PA Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh, just this month, falsely accused Israel of using the bodies of slainterrorists in Israeli medical laboratories. This is the type of whipping people up that prompts Palestinians to carry out more terrorist attacks. The Biden administration might do itself a favor if it understood that previous "gestures" made by Israel did not contribute to peace and stability in the region, and didnot advance any peace process between the Israel and the Palestinians. On the contrary, Israeli "gestures" and "concessions," such as the release of terrorists from prison, the increase in the number of Palestinians permitted to work in Israel, and the removal of checkpoints have been interpreted by the Palestinians as signs of weakness, capitulation and, by the leadership, as permission to continue mistreating their people. It is this unresponsive governance by the Palestinian Authority to everythingexcept killing Jews -- not the absence of "gestures" -- that strengthens the support for Hamas. The Palestinians correctly spot these fig-leaf public relations "gestures" as merely political plumage for Abbas that does not require him to change how he mistreats them.So why not try Hamas? Similarly, the Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip in 2005 was also seen by the Palestinians not as a kind or generous "gesture," but as a "retreat" in the face of terrorism-- especially as it took place after a wave of suicide bombings and rocket attacks against Israel. It was hard, in fact, to find anyone in the Gaza Strip who saw Israel's withdrawal as a positive development or as a sign that Israel wanted peace and calm.Instead, it was seen as a validation of terrorism: We shoot, they run. Great! It's working! So, let's keep on doing that! Until today, Hamas, the Palestinian Islamist group controlling the Gaza Strip, continues to portray the withdrawal as a "defeat" for Israel and "victory" for the terror groups. In addition, Hamas continues to describe the "expulsion" of Israel from the Gaza Strip as a first step towards achieving its goal of eliminating Israel and replacing it with an Iranian-backed Islamist state. In 2008, the Israeli government thought that a series of "gestures" and "concessions" would strengthen then Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salam Fayyad. The Israelimeasures were announced on the eve of a visit to the region by then US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. The Israeli measures did not help Fayyad; he was eventually forced to resign because of tensions with the veteran Palestinian leadership, including Abbas, who saw him as athreat to their authoritarian rule. Fayyad was never popular among the Palestinians: he had never spent a day in Israeli prison and had not been involved in terrorism. In Palestinian culture, it is more important if one graduates from an Israeli prison than from the University in Texas at Austin, where Fayyad studied before going on to workat the World Bank between 1987 and 1995. When he ran in the 2006 Palestinian parliamentary elections at the head of an independent list called Third Way, he won only two seats. The "gestures" that Israel is now being asked to make are not going to bolster the standing of Abbas and his senior officials in the Palestinian Authority. These moves arealso not going to change the PA's and Palestinians' perceptions about Israel or the US, as past experiences clearly show. A recent public opinion poll conducted by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research found that 59% of Palestinians view armed attacks against Israelis as servingthe national interest of the Palestinian people. Another 55% support a return to an armed intifada (uprising) and clashes with Israel. In addition, the poll found that a majority of Palestinians (65%) are opposed to dialogue with the Biden administration. The "gestures" and "concessions" will, in fact, be seen by Palestinians, like Israel's retreat from the Gaza Strip, as a reward for their ongoing incitement and terrorismagainst Israel. The "gestures" the Biden administration is demanding are, according to the Israeli group Regavim, illegal: "A first-of-its kind visit by a US President to east Jerusalem without any Israeli presence of accompaniment, signaling that our capital is divided between two sovereigns, constitutes a substantive violation of US law, Israeli law and diplomatic protocol." According to some reports, one of the "gestures" includes a visit by Biden to a Palestinian hospital in east Jerusalem. There is, of course, nothing wrong with visiting ahospital, but if you insist on going to east Jerusalem without being accompanied by Israeli officials, then you are seeking to advance what is, in reality, a frustrating improbability: that Jerusalem is not the capital of Israel. Here is what the official Fatah Facebook page published as late as May 25, 2022: "No statute of limitations will apply to our historical right to take back all the Palestinianland from the [Jordan] River to the [Mediterranean] Sea, including the [Jordan] River and the [Mediterranean] Sea" -- thereby making an alliance with Hamas all the more tempting in order to accelerate the process. In addition, talk about increasing the Palestinian Authority presence at the Allenby Bridge border crossing between Israel and Jordan -- to signal joint sovereignty and authorityover Israel's border and the secession of its control and sovereignty over the Jordan Valley -- will only create an immensely destabilizing situation, for which the Biden administration will justly be blamed. The Palestinian Authority has done almost nothing to disarm the terror groups operating under its control in several parts of the West Bank, especially Jenin and Nablus. Ifthe PA is unable or unwilling to fight against the Palestinian terror groups, how can it be trusted to assume control over a border crossing between Israel and Jordan? Does the Biden administration seriously believe that Abbas's representatives at the bordercrossing would thwart attempts by terrorists to smuggle weapons into Israel? The opening of a US consulate/embassy to the Palestinians would, as the Biden administration seems to want, only increase the Palestinian Authority's appetite to engage inmore incitement and violence against both the Jews and their own people. It would have been more helpful had the Biden administration demanded that the Palestinians stop the incitement and disarm all the terror groups operating in its areas. Theterror groups treat Palestinians even worse than they treat Jews. The US delegation, however, does not seem to care about the Palestinian incitement and terror, or even how the Palestinian people are misgoverned. The Biden administration is making a big mistake by forcing Israel to make concessions to the Palestinian Authority. Rewarding it for bad behavior will only aggravate tensionsbetween the Palestinians and their government, embolden the extremists among them and drive the Palestinian people even further into the waiting arms of Hamas. --------------------- Jill Bidens racism - Bill Wilson www.dailyjot.com Dont you just shake your head in amazement when leftists like First Lady Jill Biden think they are so above everyone else that they can throw out racist remarks and clothethem in love and respect. Mrs. Biden thinks that race and ethnicity are tied to food. Hence, Biden in a speech to the radical left National Council of La Raza, compared the Hispanic diversity in San Antonio with other cities as unique as the breakfast tacoshere in San Antonio. Immediately, the Hispanic community caught on to the subtleties and launched a social media attack thanking her for clarifying that Democrats think Hispanics are unique like tacos. Bidens remarks were considered culturally insensitiveand racist. The White House staff, which is so accustomed to the Biden familys inappropriate, and quite frankly, stupid remarks, took nearly 24 hours to come up with an apologyprobablybecause they were burning up the phones like habanero peppers trying to cool down their political base. Finally, the First Ladys press secretary Michael LaRosa, issued a statement: The First Lady apologizes that her words conveyed anything but pure admirationand love for the Latino community. From the culturally incompetent Mrs. Bidens perspective, she could establish an entire restaurant menu of ethnic and racial slurs. Just think what she could do with fried chicken, potatoes, perogies, curry, fish and chips, sushi and fortune cookies. Liberals believe they can use racial slurs because, after all, they are the ones fighting racism and their slurs are done out of love. Or its just part of the debate. Letsrewind to August 16, 2020 when late show host Stephen Colbert asked Kamala Harris how she went from being a passionate opponent of Biden because of his racist past to becoming pals? She laughed off the question, saying it was a debate. Colbert replied, So,you dont mean it? Harris responded, It was a debate. The whole evening, literally, it was a debate. Harriss accusations that Biden supported racism and worked in the Senate to continue the Jim Crow segregation laws against Black Americans were extraordinarilyserious, yet she passed these off as just a debate. Its deeper than that. The Democratic Party historically has disenfranchised Black Americans. For over 100 years after the Civil War, Democrats instituted Jim Crow laws that oppressed Black voting, mandated segregation of public schools, public places, public transportation, housing, restrooms, drinking fountains, and restaurants. Jim Crow Laws incarceratedBlacks for the smallest of crimes to prevent them from voting. Joe Biden was part and parcel to this dark history. These laws began to be deconstructed with the Civil RightsAct of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965, although these reforms were opposed by Democrats at all levels of government well into the 1970s. Many residuals of these laws still remain. Leftists and systemic racism are like what Christ said in Matthew 15:8, These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. Who are the Bidens and their ilk fooling? To me, its, say it with meStupidocrisy. -------------------------- Something That We Have Been Waiting For Just Happened, And It Is A Really Bad Sign - by Michael Snyder - http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/something-that-we-have-been-waiting-for-just-happened-and-it-is-a-really-bad-sign/ There has been a lot of talk recently about the death of the dollar, but the truth is that the euro is in far bigger trouble. Inflation in the eurozone has risen to trulyfrightening levels, and the war in Ukraine threatens to plunge the major economies of Europe into a very deep recession. Russia holds the key, because if Russia completely cuts off the flow of natural gas to Europe it really will cause an unprecedented economicnightmare. Even now, energy prices in Europe have already soared to absolutely insane levels, and the Russians could make things much, much worse with a single decision. The Europeans should have never allowed themselves to become so dependent on Russian energy, and now they find themselves stuck between a rock and a hard place. So with everything that has been going on, it shouldnt be any surprise that the euro has been steadily falling. In fact, on Tuesday the euro reached parity with the dollar for the very first time since 2002 The euro hit parity with the U.S. dollar on Tuesday for the first time in 20 years, meaning that the currencies have the same worth. The euro fell to $0.9998 against the dollar, its lowest level since December 2002, as the euro zones energy supply crisis and economic woes continue to depress the commoncurrency. For years, I have been warning that the euro would eventually fall so low that it would be at parity with the dollar, and now that day has arrived. And I have also been warning that such an event would be a really bad sign for Europe, because I always felt that hitting parity with the dollar would be an indication thata collapse of the European economy had begun. In the short-term, everyone is going to be watching for what Russia does next. On Monday, the Nord Stream 1 pipeline was shut down for a regularly scheduled 10 day periodof maintenance Fears of a recession have grown in recent weeks due to rising uncertainty over the blocs energy supply, with Russia threatening to further reduce gas flows to Germany andthe broader continent. Russia temporarily suspended gas deliveries via the Nord Stream 1 pipeline on Monday for annual summer maintenance works. The pipeline is Europes single biggest piece ofgas import infrastructure, carrying around 55 billion cubic meters of gas per year from Russia to Germany via the Baltic Sea. Many analysts in the western world are greatly concerned about what will happen if the Russians dont turn the gas back on when the 10 day maintenance period is over. If it doesnt get turned back on, we are being warned that Europe could actually be facing a doomsday scenario As such, DBs Jim Reid said that July 22, the day gas is supposed to come back online, could be the most important day of the year: while we all spend most of our markettime thinking about the Fed and a recession, I suspect what happens to Russian gas in H2 is potentially an even bigger story. Of course by July 22nd parts may have be found and the supply might start to normalize. Anyone who tells you they know what is goingto happen here is guessing but as minimum it should be a huge focal point for everyone in markets. Fast forward to today when, one day after the start of the scheduled 10-day shutdown period which has already sent flows through to NS 1 pipeline to basically zero and the market is now focusing on the worst case scenario: what happens if Russia cuts off all gas on July 22, the day even Bloomberg has now dubbed Europes doomsday scenario. So lets watch and see what happens on July 22nd. If the Russians decide that it is time to completely cut off the gas, European financial markets will go completely haywire. Of course energy prices in Europe have already gone completely nuts, and authorities in Germany are preparing to use sports arenas and exhibition halls as warm up spaces this winter Cities across Germany are planning to use sports arenas and exhibition halls as warm up spaces this winter to help freezing citizens who are unable to afford skyrocketingenergy costs. Bild newspaper reveals how the the nations Cities and Municipalities Association has urged local authorities to set aside public spaces to help vulnerable citizens in thecolder months. This isnt how things were supposed to play out. The green energy revolution was supposed to have totally transformed Europe by now. But that hasnt happened and it isnt going to happen. On the other side of the Atlantic, we continue to get more signs that the U.S. economy is headed for serious trouble as well. For example, we just learned that home sale cancellationshave risen to the highest level since the early days of the COVID pandemic Approximately 600,000 home purchase agreements fell through in June, according to a new analysis by Redfin. The figure is equivalent to 14.9% of homes that went under contract during the month, an increase from 12.7% in May and 11.2% a year ago. And as the greatest housing bubble in our entire history starts to implode, companies in the industry continue to lay off more workers Another lender is resorting to layoffs as the mortgage market shrivels. Tucked in near the end of a business plan released Tuesday morning, loanDepot announced it would shed 4,800 people, or 42 percent of its workforce. About 2,800 of them have already been sent packing as the firm slashes headcount to 6,500 from 11,300. The last housing crash was really painful, and this one is going to be even more bitter. Meanwhile, the Biden administration is warning that we are about to see another huge inflation number White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre Monday said the administration expects a high inflation number when the new Consumer Price Index (CPI) is released Wednesday, but downplayed any fault of President Biden in the matter. On Wednesday, we have new CPI and inflation data, and we expect the headline number, which includes gas and food, to be highly elevated, mainly because gas prices were soelevated in June, Jean-Pierre said. Gas and food prices continue to be heavily impacted by the war in Ukraine. The Biden administration has lost control, and Joe Bidens approval ratings continue to sink to horrifying new lows. The Federal Reserve has lost control as well, and if Fed officials continue to raise interest rates they are going to greatly accelerate this new economic downturn. If you are waiting for our leaders to rescue us from the economic nightmare that is now staring us in the face, you are going to be greatly disappointed. The great unraveling that I have warned about for so long is here, and it is going to be exceedingly unpleasant. I hope that you are doing your best to get prepared for the road that is ahead, because we are in for a really bumpy trip. -------------------- Insanity - Bill Wilson www.dailyjot.com Back in the day when I was growing up on the farm in Ohio, nonsense, stupidity and insanity were not tolerated. There were ways to deal with each, the insanity usually resultedin separation from society until the mental health of the person was healed. Today, we elect them to public office and let them run society into the dirt. Today there is a toleration for almost every form of nonsense, stupidity and insanity. Think about it.We have Planned Parenthood wanting to evangelize transgenderism in school childrenand Im sure there are school systems and parents dumb enough to allow it. We have a US Senator saying that Pregnancy Care Centers should be shut down because they torture pregnantpeople. Lunacy! Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), a former failed presidential candidate, refuses to recognize pregnant women because she believes that all genders can get pregnant. In fact,so do a lot of these twisted crazies. They also are of the ilk that want to promote that there are dozens of different genders or sexual orientationsand they want to indoctrinate our children to be accepting of them or even be one of them. These pro-abortionactivists are also crazy. Yes, crazy. They are out there marching and protesting and stalking judges for the non-existent right to kill their babies in the womb. And they are radical about it. Some religious denominations are saying it is a biblical right.I guess all the verses and context of the Bible that stress choosing life, having it more abundantly, and God knowing you before you were born have no meaning. We have a president who lands in Israel and doesnt know where he is, has to have frequent naps, falls off his bike, and misspeaks all the timethe latest saying that we allmust keep alive the honor of the holocaust. What? Yes, he corrected himself quickly, but a person in his position should never misspeak on that topicin Israel no less. All this could be excusable, but inflation is now beating out the Jimmy Carter yearsand his policies are directly responsible for driving the country into a recessionin an electric car because gas prices are too high. His policies have reduced buying power and have caused major disruptions in food supplies and most everything else. If heisnt insane, his policies certainly are. Sadly, he appears to be suffering from dementia and his power-hungry puppeteers just keep pulling the strings. We have a Supreme Court Justice who will not give a definition of woman. We have a First Lady who thinks race and ethnicity is identified by the kind of food people eat.All this against the backdrop that a record number of Americans, mostly identifying asguess what?democrats, no longer believe in God. See a connection? Im reminded of David acting crazy before the Philistine King Achish in 1 Samuel 21:15 prompting Achishsresponse, Am I lacking madmen that you have brought this fellow to act demented in my presence? Only with David it was an act. These political leaders we have before us today are intentional. In any other time in history, they would be judged mentally unfit.Today, not so much. And that truly is insanity. ------------------------------ A Diplomatic Slap In The Face Amir Tsarfati - https://harbingersdaily.com/mideast-review-w-amir-tsarfati-a-diplomatic-slap-in-the-face/ In a Tuesday UAV strike, the US assassinated the leader of ISIS in Syria, while severely wounding another senior ISIS official who eventually succumbed to his wounds yesterday. The two were traveling outside Jindayris in northwest Syria at the time. Maher al-Agal was responsible for many attacks within the country, and was developing ISIS outside of Syria and Iraq. The removal of these ISIS leaders will disrupt the terrorist organizationsability to further plot and carry out global attacks, said CENTCOM spokesman Col. Joe Buccino. US President Joe Biden landed in Israel Wednesday, perfectly coinciding with my departure to South Africa. Must be divine timing. He is arriving with a record low approvalrating of 33% and a 40-year high inflation rate of 9.1%. Yet, with that record and the knowledge that nearly two-thirds of those in his own party dont want him to run again in 2024, he is apparently planning to tell Israel how we can make everything happywith the Palestinians. While here, he will visit a site on the Mount of Olives without an official Israeli host a slap in the face to our government. Then he is expected to encourage a two-state solution, while reaffirming his intention to open a Palestinianconsulate in Jerusalem. From Israel, the US president will travel to Saudi Arabia. While there, he will meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, a man he once said must be held accountable forthe killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. That get-together could be awkward. I do not expect that Biden will receive the same kind of celebratory reception when he arrives as that enjoyed by the previous holder of the Oval Office. Russia continues to strangle Ukraine. Moscow has taken over 22% of the agricultural land and has burned wheat fields in other parts. The 20% of Ukraine that Putin alreadycontrols contributes approximately half of the nations GDP. If they take the districts of Mykolaiv and Odessa, Ukraine will be left with only 25% of their GDP and no seaports for trade. Moscows relationship with other Central European nations continues to deteriorate. On Monday, the Russian #KILLNET hacking network launched a cyberattack on the Polish TaxAuthority causing all sorts of havoc. Tensions with Lithuania were continuing to grow as the Baltic country expanded its restrictions on goods that they would allow to pass through to the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad. However, just yesterday, the EU cavedto Moscows pressure and said that it was okay for Russian goods to travel through Lithuania by rail to Kaliningrad. The Vilnius government, which had only been following the EUs sanctions, breathed a sigh of relief and said that it would not ignore thepositions and assessments of the other nations. The coalition of Ezekiel continues to be formed before our eyes. Next Tuesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin will travel to Tehran, where he will meet with Turkish PresidentRecep Tayyip Erdogan and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. One of the primary purposes for the trilateral summit is the boosting of economic cooperation with Iran. As I talked about last week, the ties between these countries continues to grow. Just on Monday,US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan announced that Iran was preparing to provide several hundred military drones to Russia for use against Ukraine. Over just the past several weeks, 25 military cargo flights have been conducted to Russia from Iran. For more information on this growing alliance and how it connects to Ezekiel 38, check out my Breaking News from Tuesday. Iran continues to supply arms to its proxy militias in Iraq and Syria. However, the actual delivery of these supplies isnt always successful. On Saturday, a shipment fromIran that had passed through Iraq was destroyed in Deir a-Zor, Syria. In other Iranian weapons news, Iran has reached the capability for the 90% enrichment threshold needed for nuclear bombs. This adds them to the list of other threshold countries who havethe technology and resources for nuclear weapons, but has not taken the step of building them yet. Ahmad Sales, a member of the Popular Defense militia that is connected to Hezbollah in the Golan area, was assassinated in southern Syria. It appears to be an Israeli targetedkilling. A continent away from Syria there was another, much more tragic assassination. During a speech last week, Shinzo Abe, former president of Japan, was killed by an assailantusing a homemade shotgun. The assassin, who was captured at the scene, was identified as Tetsuya Yamagami, a former marine of the Japanese Self-Defense Force. Yamagami said that his mother had been bankrupted through her support of the Unification Church, and he resented Abes support of the religious group. Abe, however, has never been a member or supporter of the Moonies, although at one time he did express appreciation for the groups focus and emphasis on family values. In an apparent move to leave no crisis unwasted, China protested to Japan for allowing Taiwans Vice President William Lai to attend Shinzo Abes funeral. Somehow keepinga straight face despite the irony, Chinas Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin accused Japan of using Abes death for political manipulation. Japan does not have a so-called vice president, he said. Its impossible this kind of scheming will succeed. Please give me a moment while I catch my breath after that story. Sri Lankan President Gotbaya Rajapaksa fled his country to the Maldives, and then on to Singapore. This happened after protestors stormed the presidential palace and amidstmassive demonstrations over economics and shortages of staples like food, fuel, and medicines. Rajapaksa named his prime minister, Ranil Wickremesinghe, as acting president. However, this didnt satisfy the masses who dont care for either man, and would liketo see the president-in-hiding in an open prison where they can do farm work. Finally, on Tuesday, the Israeli Air Force and the Greek Air Force conducted a joint training simulation. The exercise included both air-to-air combat, as well as refuelingoperations. While already enjoying close diplomatic relations, the two countries are drawing even closer as they see great opportunities ahead in the area of energy. -----------------
