 By Hal Lindsey Nancy Pelosi is a physically unimposing 82-year-old. But her recent visit to Taiwan made the great and ancient nation of China quiver in its boots. Chinese leaders blustered and shouted; demanded and threatened. They madea great show of their military might, sending warships and aircraft into the area around Taiwan. They blasted missiles over the island, their smoke trails filling the Taiwanese sky. It was not the reaction of a confident superpower, but of a nervous child trying to hide its impotence behind the bluster of shaking fists and threatening pronouncements. A spokesman for the Chinese Defense Ministry said, “The US-Taiwan collusion and provocation will only push Taiwan towards the abyss of disaster, bringing catastrophe to Taiwan compatriots.” Why would a visit from an American official “push Taiwan towards the abyss of disaster”? In recent years, many members of Congress have visited the island nation. It happens on a regular basis. She was not even the firstSpeaker of the House to visit. Newt Gingrich did it back in 1997, and it was no big deal. What happened this time? President Biden (like most of his presidential predecessors over the last fifty years) has bent over backwards to appease China. Much of corporate America stands firm with China, despite its abysmal record on human rights.Some of our biggest corporations are addicted to China’s cheap labor, and they have high hopes for China as the ultimate market for their goods. America’s poorly planned exit from Afghanistan and continuing capitulation to the Taliban have given the world a sense of American weakness and timidity. While standing with Ukraine since the Russian invasion, the US washesitant to say or do anything that might offend Russia before the invasion. Over the last few years, China supported Russia, North Korea, and Iran in all their deadly misadventures, and felt no ill-effects from US foreign policy. This time Chinese leaders thought they had the right combination of American weakness and vacillation to show the world their newfound power. So, when someone leaked that the Speaker might drop by Taiwan on her Asian tour,China put on a big show of imperiousness. They really seemed to think that they could intimidate the United States. But their public bluster forced the Speaker’s hand. If they really cared about her visit, quiet diplomacy would have almost certainly prevented it. But when China acted as if it could dictate a new US policy regarding travelto Taiwan, she had to go. Meanwhile, the sound and fury of the Chinese response weakened their international position. China today is a troubled nation and, in this case, troubled means dangerous. China generates amazing amounts of money, but the people are still poor. Their government must use extreme technologies to keep them in line. Meanwhile,their economy remains highly vulnerable to global slowdown. Bible prophecy speaks of the “Kings of the East” sending a vast army toward Israel and Armageddon in the last days of the tribulation period. China will almost certainly lead this coalition. The Bible speaks of it as a worldpower in the end time, but not a dominate one. That means China is not on the verge of taking over the world. But it is dangerous. --------------- The Tyranny Expansion Act of 2022 - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com Senate democrats just passed The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 which will not reduce inflation, but instead raises taxes for the climate change agenda and expands the IRSto collect those taxes. The bill now goes to the House of Representatives where the democrats will surely pass the bill. This is a clear example of how Congress lies to the people and represents only party-line agendas. Louisiana Republican Senator John Kennedysummed it up: “It’s a special kind of stupid to raise taxes during both a recession and inflation—that’s called stagflation, which is what we have right now as a result of President Biden’s policies.” This legislation is an indicator of an expanding tyrannicalgovernment. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) said, “The Democrats’ reckless tax and spending plan includes nearly $370 billion to fund the Green New Deal, $64 billion for Obamacare, andhundreds of billions in new taxes on American businesses and manufacturers…The spending spree also includes $80 billion to double the number of IRS agents–practically giving every American a personalized tax auditor. We should be cutting taxes, not increasingthem.” What it amounts to is spending $370 billion to stimulate the pet climate change, green energy agenda of the left, rewarding non-profits, state and local governments, and Indian tribal governments with government cash payments while increasing taxeson corporations and raising drug prices on Medicare to pay for it. The Democrats claim the bill would reduce the deficit by some $300 billion, which would lower inflation. Think about this. At the time of this writing, the US federal deficitwas nearly $1.6 TRILLION and the US national debt was $30.6 TRILLION. Applying intelligence and common sense, making a payment of $300 billion against a $31 Trillion debt is hardly going to reduce inflation of any kind, especially when raising taxes and Medicaredrug prices to redistribute taxpayer funds to climate change cronies. This legislation only raises the misery index by cutting benefits to senior citizens and causing corporations to raise prices on goods and services to cover the tax increase. The prestigiousWharton-Penn Budget model says it will have zero impact on inflation, after raising inflation initially. This legislation is the linchpin of the Democratic Party’s anti-American socialist agenda. We are witnessing the United States in great decline both morally and economically.They raise taxes by saying they are making the rich pay their fair share. In reality, this is a tax increase on everybody who consumes any product from any company in America. Meanwhile, the government will have its boot to every taxpayers’ throat as Congressdoubles the enforcers at the IRS—an unconstitutional administrative agency with the power to ruin lives without due process. This law is wrapped in tyranny, and it is neatly tied with a bow of lies. As in Jeremiah 9:8, “Their tongue is an arrow shot out; Itspeaks deceit.” ------------------------------ FBI insiders and the Trump raid - Bill Wilson � www.dailyjot.com A document released by the US District Court for Florida�s Southern District indicates that the August 5 FBI search warrant to raid former president Donald Trump�s house wasactually initiated in court by an FBI agent, whose name has been withheld from the public. The application for the warrant was signed by an FBI Special Agent who, �under the penalty of perjury� had� reason to believe� there was �willful retention of nationaldefense information,� �Concealment or removal of government records,� and �Obstruction of federal investigation.� It would appear that the same agent signed the affidavit that was the genesis of the FBI raid. Furthermore, the request to withhold from the public all the documents associated with the motion, affidavit, and the search warrant was made by United States Attorney JuanAntonio Gonzalez and a redacted �Assistant United States Attorney.� That motion to seal the documents states that �The United States submits that there is good cause because the integrity of the ongoing investigation might be compromised, and evidence mightbe destroyed. The United States further requests that, pursuant to this Court�s procedures for Highly Sensitive Documents, all documents associated with this investigation not be filed on the Court�s electronic docket because filing these materials on theelectronic docket poses a risk to safety given the sensitive nature of the material contained herein.� There have been many conspiracy theories around what the FBI did, who was on the inside helping the FBI, whether documents were planted, and so forth. These are just distractionsfrom the main issue. The FBI, according to this document, originated the infamous affidavit for the search, petitioned for the search warrant and conducted the raid. This is no different than when President Obama and the Hillary Clinton campaign used fabricateddocuments to obtain secret authorization from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) to spy on Trump�s 2016 presidential campaign. The documents raise no certainty that any law was broken nor whether any illegal documents were being held by Trump. This government action is against a private citizen who the political party in power and its accomplices want to see destroyed. It�s a show of the absolute power of governmentdespite Constitutional guarantees of due process and protection of privacy. These documents insinuate wrongdoing and generated another news cycle of headlines that Trump was hiding something illegal. Ephesians 6:12 says, �For we wrestle not against flesh andblood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.� The next verse offers an action: �Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstandin the evil day, and having done all, to stand.� It�s high time to do all and to stand against this evil because it can happen to you, too. In an interview with Le Journal du Dimanche, "Faced with this, we must improve the work of judicial investigation," Darmanin said. "We have therefore decided to massivelyreinforce the resources of the Central Office for the Fight against Damage to the Environment and to launch 3,000 'green police' posts." He continued, saying that the climate change police force "will be a revolution." The announcement comes after the EU crisis management tsar Janez Lenarcic called for the rapid creation of a Europe-wide "Civil Protection Force" to enforce climate laws acrossthe EU. What such a force would mean for the sovereignty of member states hardly needs to be mentioned, and the call for an international police force was heavily criticized. "Handing these irresponsible and unaccountable bureaucrats even more power would just simply be irresponsible," said MEP Cristian Terhes. "What Europe needs is a rebirth of national and sovereign democracy, with creativity and power for local people rather than one-size-fits-all bureaucratic control from thecentre of Brussels." Of course, Europe isn't the only place planning to create a police force that specifically handles offences related to climate change. Canada is getting in on the action,too. As reported by The Counter Signal, it appears that the Ministry of Environment & Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is currently working on a building to house such officers. And if that wasn't enough evidence, ECCC has posted an ad on Indeed.com for an "Enforcement Officer - Environmental (pollution) enforcement." According to the ad, "Environment and Climate Change Canada's Enforcement Branch ensures that organizations and individuals respect laws administered by Environment and Climate Change Canada thatprotect the natural environment, its biodiversity and the health of Canadians." Duties include "conducting inspections to ensure compliance with federal environmental laws," as well as "conducting investigations into alleged violations of federal environmentallaws, including taking statements from witnesses or accused persons, preparing and executing search warrants, reviewing and assessing evidence, and preparing court briefs." Officers will further be required to wear uniforms and carry safety equipment, including body armor, handcuffs, batons, and even prohibited weapons. France's climate change officers will likely be similarly equipped. ---------------------------
