And when leaders become extremely angry, they can do really stupid things. I have been extremely alarmed by some of the events that have transpired over the past week. Hotheads in Russia and hotheads in the western world just continue to escalatethe conflict in Ukraine, and we are getting dangerously close to a point of no return. The following are 5 signs that the war between Russia and NATO is about to spiral out of control… #1 A “Dirty Bomb”? There had been a lot of chatter about the possibility that Russia could start using tactical nukes in Ukraine, and now the Russians are alleging that the Ukrainians are preparingto detonate a “dirty bomb” in their own territory in order to motivate the western powers to get even more involved in the conflict… Russia’s defense chief on Sunday alleged that Ukraine was preparing a “provocation” involving a radioactive device, a stark claim that reflected soaring tensions as Moscowstruggles to stem Ukrainian advances in the south and is building defensive positions in anticipation of Ukrainian offensives elsewhere. Russia’s Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu made the allegations in phone calls with his counterparts from Britain, France and Turkey. He also spoke to U.S. Secretary of DefenseLloyd Austin in their second call in three days, but a terse Russian readout of that call didn’t say whether the dirty bomb claim was also mentioned in their conversation. #2 The U.S. 101st Airborne Division Gets Deployed To Eastern Europe The 101st Airborne Division is one of the most famous units in the history of the U.S. military, and I was quite stunned to learn that they have just been deployed to Europe “for the first time in almost 80 years”… The U.S. Army’s 101st Airborne Division has been deployed to Europe for the first time in almost 80 years amid soaring tension between Russia and the American-led NATO militaryalliance. The light infantry unit, nicknamed the “Screaming Eagles,” is trained to deploy on any battlefield in the world within hours, ready to fight. For now, the “Screaming Eagles” are involved in “exercises” near the Ukrainian border, but CBS News is reporting that they are “prepared to cross the border into Ukraine” if that becomes necessary… The “Screaming Eagles” commanders told CBS News repeatedly that they are always “ready to fight tonight,” and while they’re there to defend NATO territory, if the fightingescalates or there’s any attack on NATO, they’re fully prepared to cross the border into Ukraine. #3 A Million Rounds Of Ammunition The U.S. has never armed anyone like they are arming the Ukrainians. If you can believe it, we have already given Ukraine “over a million rounds of howitzer ammunition” since the beginning of the war… The U.S. has now provided Ukraine with over a million rounds of howitzer ammunition since it began shipping arms to the embattled nation to aid its fight against Russia, accordingto the latest figures from the Defense Department. That includes up to 903,000 standard 155mm howitzer rounds as well as 3,000 M982 Excalibur guided rounds, 7,000 Remote Anti-Armor Mine System (RAAMS) projectiles, and 180,000105mm howitzer shells. And it appears that much more help will soon be on the way. Right now, a new “aid package” is being readied in Congress which would give the Ukrainians another 50 billion dollars in assistance… The new aid package, which most likely would be part of an omnibus spending bill, could be within the range of roughly $50 billion, congressional aides and a source closeto the Ukraine government said. #4 Iranian Troops In Ukraine? A lot of “mercenaries” from western nations have been fighting alongside the Ukrainians for a long time, and now the U.S. is alleging that Iranian troops have actually enteredUkraine and are “directly engaged on the ground” in an effort to help the Russians… Iranian troops are “directly engaged on the ground” in Crimea supporting Russian drone attacks on Ukraine’s infrastructure and civilian population, the White House has said. The US government has confirmed that Russian attacks have employed unmanned aerial vehicles purchased from Tehran in attacks carried out against Ukrainian targets from baseson the peninsula that Russia annexed from Ukraine in 2014, National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby said. This conflict in Ukraine is becoming more of a “world war” with each passing day. We know that the Russians have been using Iranian drones to strike targets all over Ukraine in recent days, and that should deeply trouble all of us. Speaking of Iran, I just learned that their military has been “conducting large-scale military drills on its border with Azerbaijan”… Iran’s military is conducting large-scale military drills on its border with Azerbaijan, including practicing crossings of the Aras River, which defines a large part of theborder between the two states. The exercises, called “Mighty Iran,” began on October 17. The exact location has not been specified, but Iranian media placed them in between Iran’s provinces of Ardabil andEast Azerbaijan, the part of Iran across the Aras from Azerbaijan’s Fuzuli region. One expert on open-source intelligence, however, analyzed photos of the pontoon crossing and placed it across from Azerbaijan’s exclave of Nakhchivan. The Iranians have been getting really aggressive lately. And I have a feeling that a direct conflict between Iran and Israel will begin sooner rather than later. #5 Relentless Bombing Of Power Infrastructure The Russians have decided to take the gloves off. They have started relentlessly bombing electrical infrastructure all over Ukraine, and this threatens to create a major humanitarian crisis because winter is rapidly approaching… Missiles and drones are being used to rain down upon key civilian infrastructure targets – mainly power stations – as the weather gets colder and days get darker. It is believed Russia hopes by doing so they may be able to make Kyiv lose hope and give up the defence on their homeland. Kyrylo Tymoshenko, a key advisor to President Volodymyr Zelensky, confirmed there are now an estimated 1.5 million people without power across Ukraine. Both sides just continue to escalate matters, and it is just a matter of time before someone pushes things a little bit too far. Even now, it is really difficult to see a peaceful way out of this mess. The Biden administration seems to be completely opposed to any peace talks with the Russians, and I believe that is a tragic mistake. If both sides just continue to get angrier, at some point someone is going to be really tempted to resort to nuclear weapons. And once that happens, our world will never be the same again. Unfortunately, our leaders don’t seem to understand that we could literally be on the brink of a nuclear conflict. They are so determined to “win” this current battle on the global chessboard that they can’t even see the bigger picture. Jerusalem Post reported that �intense explosions were heard in the sky of the capital city and its suburbs� as the alleged airstrikes were being carried out. Wednesday�s actions targeting the movement of Iranian weapons came after a rare strike on Monday which took place in broad daylight and an additional strike on the Syriancapital last Friday. Israel has carried out numerous strikes in the region of Damascus and elsewhere, working to prevent the transfer of weapons and an Iranian foothold in the Syrian country,which borders the Jewish State to the north. The urgency to prevent an Iranian presence in the region has only been heightened as the Islamic Republic, which is brazenly vocal in its desire to obliterate Israel, inchescloser to obtaining a nuclear weapon. Although many may simply view Israeli strikes in Syria as a regular occurrence in the region, Christians take particular notice when discussing military actions in the country�scapital. That is because Damascus, which is the longest continually inhabited city in the world, has its future end detailed in Scripture. At noon two days later, in an unusual daytime strike, Israel once again directed missilestoward the airport. Then, just last night, another airstrike pummeled areas near Damascus. Targeted were weapons and equipment from Iran�s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which were bound for Hezbollah in neighboring Lebanon. The IRGC presence inthe region continues to grow as Iran quickly fills in the vacant areas left behind as Russia pulls more and more troops out of Syria to fight in the conflict with Ukraine. Joint Israeli Operation into the Lion�s Den A force made up of IDF soldiers, members of Shin Bet, and anti-terror agents raided a Nablus-based terrorist organization called Lion�s Den early Tuesday. The target was thegroup�s leader, Wadee al-Houh, who was killed in the operation. The ensuing gun battle lasted over an hour and left four other terrorists dead and more than 20 injured. No Israeli soldiers were hurt in the operation. Lion�s Den was operating an explosiveslaboratory in the Kasbah of Nablus, and they were responsible for the October 11 drive-by shooting that took the life of 21-year-old IDF soldier Ido Baruch. The murder of Baruch took place only two days after a similar drive-by shooting in Jerusalem killed18-year-old IDF Military Policewoman Noa Lazar. Russia Accuses Ukraine of Planning Dirty Bomb Attack Until recently, all most people knew about dirty bombs is what they learned from the TV show 24. Now, they�re all over the news as Russia accuses Ukraine of having one ofthese nuclear-waste-packed explosive devices ready to detonate in one of the Russian-occupied regions of their country. Ukraine, in turn, says that Russia is creating a false flag, so that they can use a dirty bomb themselves in an attempt to sway public opinionagainst Ukraine while giving Moscow an excuse to respond with a true nuclear weapon. And by all indications, Putin is fully prepared to �go nuclear�. Just yesterday, Russia held its annual Grom (Thunder) exercise, which simulates a massive nuclear strike inresponse to an enemy nuclear attack. Russia Continues with Plan to Freeze Ukraine Recently appointed Russian commander in Ukraine, General Sergei Surovikin, is living up to the infamy of his reputation as he continues to pursue his apparent goal of causingthe freezing deaths of tens of thousands of Ukrainian civilians this winter. One electricity plant after another has fallen to Russian bombs, as Surovikin methodically destroys the infrastructure of the nation. Currently, 50% of Ukraine�s electricity plantsare destroyed or damaged to the point of being unproductive. This is not conventional warfare; these are crimes against humanity. Nations Stand Against Russia Just yesterday, Poland�s Senate voted in a resolution that declared Russia to be a terrorist state. As part of the resolution, the senators stated their desire for the InternationalCriminal Court to investigate the Russian military for possible war crimes. Meanwhile, the UK, France, and Germany are together encouraging the UN to investigate Russia�s use of Iranian drones in Ukraine, which would violate a UN Security Council Resolution.Both Russia and Iran continue to deny Iran�s provision of drones and their involvement in the training of drone pilots. This is despite the fact that Iranians have been turning up amongst the Russian casualties in Ukraine. In response to the possibility ofa UN investigation, Russia has threatened to not renew the deal to sell Ukrainian grain. Moving to Israel, we see that factions within the country are dipping their toes into the anti-Russia waters. Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that ifhe is elected into office once again, he will consider providing weapons to Ukraine. That will be one more reason for Russia to come against Israel. 40 Days Since Mahsa Amini was Killed in Iranian Custody Mahsa Amini was arrested by Iran�s moral police for not wearing her hijab properly in public. Three days later, while still in custody, she died due to the injuries she receivedat the hands of her captors. Immediately, riots began, and they have increased exponentially. Forty days have now passed and in anticipation of the public�s response to this significant date, the police blocked the roads to the cemetery that contained hergravesite. Defying authorities, however, thousands of protesters walked to her burial site. For the nation�s leadership, the situation is getting out of hand. The regime is now preparing to bring in the IRGC against the rioters, which is essentially settingtheir military on their own civilians. It is very likely we are about to see immeasurable violence against innocent Iranians at the hands of the Islamist leaders. Iran Arrests Suspects Accused of Working with Mossad Iranian authorities have arrested 10 suspects in the country�s West Azerbaijan province, accusing them of working with the Israeli Mossad. A report claims that they �set fireto cars and homes of people affiliated with the security apparatus and received cash for taking photos which they sent to Mossad agents.� [There is a] high percentage of minorities in Iran, as well as the passionate hatred many of them feel toward the regime.When the Mossad goes looking for partners in Iran, they don�t have a difficult time finding them. Iran Terror Attack An armed terrorist attack on the Shahcheragh shrine, a Shia holy site in Shiraz, Iran, left at least 15 dead and 40 wounded. While early reports put the number of attackersat three, the figure was later revised to only one. Officials have him in custody, labeling him as �Takfiri�, a Sunni extremist. Threats Against North Korea Nuclear Test Following a series of unannounced North Korean missile tests this month, concern is growing that Kim Jong Un is preparing for a seventh nuclear test, his first since 2017.In a joint warning, South Korea, Japan, and the United States stated that there would be an �unparalleled� response should the North Koreans follow through with the test. Saudi Arabia and China Getting Chummy Over Oil It seems like it was only two years ago that Saudi Arabia and the US were oil buddies. Now, however, the Saudis don�t seem to have the time of day for the new US administration,and they are seeking new friends in Beijing. This past week, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Minister of Energy, met online with Zhang Jianhua, Chinese National Energy Administrator. Both parties expressed their great desire to strengthenties between the countries in the field of energy.
