The forces backing him have to be insanely evil and determinedbecause a normal person would have long walked away from this mess. The Biden family is completely corrupt. Everything Biden touches turns to trash � the economy, the failed banks, inflation, the ruined Mexican border, and the killer drugs.Biden�s thugs in the FBI, D.O.J., and New York have taken to arresting his political opponents. The modern Democrat party is turning America into a Banana Republic police state. The most scary part is not that Biden has clear signs of dementia. Nobody in authority is willing to step in and resolve this problem. Joe Biden wandered around lost on stageat July 4th celebrations after barely slurring his way through a teleprompter speech. �I don�t, man! I want to say hi to him!� Biden blathered, adding, �You�re trying to get me off stage! You�re afraid I�m gonna start singing!� When a bag of cocaine was found at the White House, the story was not covered by the four major nightly news shows. If this discovery had occurred during the Trump administration,they would have broken into regular programming. Biden was asked questions about the cocaine, but he just ignored them because he knows he was not accountable. Joe Biden�s mantra has always been that �the absolute most important thing is your family.� It is the heart of his political narrative. Biden�s White House has been instructednot to acknowledge Hunter�s illegitimate daughter, which is why Biden has stated several times that he only has six grandchildren. Milking family tragedies for political gain has long been his stock in trade. The moral tragedy of his son�s doing should be an opportunity to show how he really cares aboutfamily. His treatment of his granddaughter Navy just shows his true callous nature. Up until now, the worst president in history was Jimmy Carter. He had the lowest poll numbers of any president since Harry Truman. Carter is the only Chief Executive to reachan approval rate that was in the 20s. Carter�s ratings wildly moved around. By the start of Carter�s four years, his approval rate had recovered to 57%. He left office with his ratings near his all-time low. The approval rates for Biden have been in a steady decline the whole time he has been in office. He started out at 55%, and his rating quickly declined in the lower 40% range.The fourth year typically is the worst year for a president, but Biden may soon take out Carter�s record low. James Howard Kunstler is a type of political writer who does not suffer fools gladly. At times, he is a harsh critic of both Republicans and Democrats. With most of the liberalmedia unwilling to say anything negative about Biden, it was refreshing for me to run across some of Kunstler�s remarks about the man: Consider for a moment and be grateful for how perfect �Joe Biden� is as president of this foundering republic. He and his family project the rectified essence of every depravitynow driving the life of our nation to some murky bottom, where it may be forced to assess its sorry state, repent, and perhaps recover (or just give up and die). There he stands, without ambiguity or conscience: �Joe Biden,� the personification of a failedstate. What we�re witnessing is an order of magnitude greater than Greek tragedy: the implacable drive to destroy not just the father, who happens (by the sheerest electoral subterfuge)to be president, but to take down the nation with him. And it�s working. The Biden family is crashing into smoldering wreckage, and so is the USA � as acted out in the sad-sack nation of Ukraine, a festering hub of Biden family moneygrubbing going back morethan a decade, now being needlessly sacrificed as part of a massive criminal cover-up, with America�s geopolitical prestige on-the-line. I know, the complexity of this melodrama is overwhelming. How can one bumbling political idiot wreak so much havoc? It�s a wonder, all right. But it�s all playing out beforeus in real time. �Joe Biden� � who (let�s face it) is only partly there. If you have ever wondered how the American people could be so foolish to elect a man like Biden, you can credit God for this decision. The Lord gives a nation the leadershipit deserves. Having a president that doesn�t know where he is half the time is a clear sign that God is very unhappy with our nation. I hope Jesus comes for the Church before the 2024 election. Since Trump will likely be the Republican Candidate, I greatlyregret having to vote for him a third time. Trump is a deeply flawed person, but he is ten times better than someone like Biden. �If you will fear the LORD and serve Him, and listen to His voice and not rebel against the command of the LORD, then both you and also the king who reigns over you will followthe LORD your God� (I Samuel 12:14). -------------------- Biden battles to censor free speech - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com A censorship-by-proxy lawsuit brought by attorney generals in Louisiana and Missouri resulted in an injunction against a host of federal agencies and their staffs pressuringcorporations to censor protected free speech. Judge Terry A. Doughty of the US District Court for the Western District of Louisiana in a July 4 ruling banned certain government agencies from “engaging in any communication of any kind with social-media companiesurging, encouraging, pressuring, or inducing in any manner for removal, deletion, suppression, or reduction of content containing protected free speech.” Within days, the Biden Administration filed for a stay, meaning the Biden government wants to continuecensoring free speech. Judge Doughty ruled that the government was prohibited from meeting with social-media companies for the purpose of urging, encouraging, pressuring, or inducing in any mannerthe removal, deletion, suppression, or reduction of content containing protected free speech posted on social-media platforms; specifically flagging content or posts on social-media platforms and/or forwarding such to social-media companies urging, encouraging,pressuring, or inducing in any manner for removal, deletion, suppression, or reduction of content containing protected free speech; and urging, encouraging, pressuring, or inducing in any manner social-media companies to change their guidelines for removing,deleting, suppressing, or reducing content containing protected free speech. The government also was prohibited from partnering or collaborating with organizations to suppress protected free speech; threatening or coercing social media companies toremove or suppress protected free speech or even notifying them to Be On the Lookout for such actions. In filing its stay of the injunction, the Biden Administration expressed that the injunction will interfere with legitimate government conduct and workingwith social media companies on initiatives to prevent grave harm to the American people and our democratic processes. The attorney generals in LA and MO wasted no time in filling opposition to Biden’s argument for deliberately censoring Americans. Their filing stated in part, “But the evidence in this case overwhelmingly shows that the way the Government supposedly “prevent[s] grave harm to the American people and ourdemocratic processes” is to pressure and induce social-media platforms to censor disfavored viewpoints on COVID-19, elections, and other core political speech. The Government’s assertion of “grave harm,” therefore, boils down to the claim that it should beallowed to continue violating the First Amendment. In the end, their position is fundamentally defiant toward the Court’s judgment. It demonstrates that the Government will continue violating First Amendment rights by censoring core political speech on socialmedia as soon as it can get away with it.” Let us ask as in Galatians 4:16, “Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth?” On July 10, Doughty denied Biden’s request. A few decades ago, Democrats and Republicans worked together on many issues. On July 30, 2014, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 4810, known as the Veterans Accessto Care Act of 2014. The bill, co-sponsored by Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and Arizona Senator John McCain, passed the House on a vote of 420-5. When the United States declared war on Japan, only one person voted against it. Today it has become common to have votes that completely follow along party lines. The House recently passed a resolution that directs the House Homeland Security and HouseJudiciary panels to examine any evidence of wrongdoing related to the president�s immigration policies. It was approved because 219 Republicans outvoted 208 Democrats. During the Trump years, the Democrats had control of the House, and they did several things that were politically motivated. Now that the Republicans have a majority, theyclearly plan to perform similar stunts. A couple of weeks ago, there was a censure vote against California Rep Adam Schiff, which was a rebuke of a vocal Trump critic by the House Republican majority. Years ago,it would be a significant rebuke of a member of Congress. Today it is seen as a badge of honor. As House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) tried to read out the resolution, House Democrats, gathered on the floor in solidarity with Schiff, repeatedly shouted him down. They chanted �shame!� and cheered Schiff, jeering at McCarthy as a �spiteful coward� and �weak.� Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) called for him to be ousted. One Republicanshouted back, �Jack***es!� The House of Representatives approved a resolution referring articles of impeachment against President Biden to two committees. The resolution directs the House Homeland Securityand House Judiciary panels to examine any evidence of wrongdoing related to the president�s immigration policies. It was approved 219-208 along party lines. There is zero chance of getting enough votes to convict Biden in the Senate. I don�t see any indication that Republicans share the fondness for political theater that theleft enjoys. I think the best idea in Republican circles is a vote to dissolve Trump�s previous two impeachments. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said he supports the idea of expunging theimpeachments of Donald Trump as Republican allies of the former president introduce a pair of proposals to declare it as though the historic charges never happened. McCarthy told reporters that he agrees with Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Elise Stefanik, who want to erase the charges against Trump from the former president�s impeachmentsof 2019 and 2021. �I think it is appropriate,� said McCarthy, the Republican from California. �Just as I thought before � that you should expunge it because it never should have gone through.� The political divide can really be seen in the Supreme Court. Justices are there to simply vote if something is constitutional or not. The change in the political environmenthas caused the conservative court to strike down a series of rulings that liberals hold dear. I like the recent rulings, but I think there is a great danger to the nation in the long run. When Ruth Bader Ginsburg became a Supreme Court candidate, everyone knew shehad a leftist background. The vote to make her an Associate Justice was 96-3 because there was still a vestige of civility in the Senate. Even during the Clarence Thomas fiasco, he still managed to have 11 Democrats vote for him. When Amy Coney Barrett was nominated to be the next Associate Justice of the SupremeCourt in 2020, it quickly became apparent that she was an excellent Justice. The vote was straight down party lines. My biggest fear is what will happen when the Democrats gain full control of the government. It was as recent as 2016 that they had a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate.If this was today, the Democrats would pack the Supreme Court, suspend all voting rules in the Senate, and they would remove Republican members by vote. If people love power more than truth and our nation, tyranny will eventually prevail. We could have a dictator come from both parties because most despots come to power underthe promise of saving the country from the opposition. �First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we maylead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way� (1 Timothy 2:1-2 ESV). ------------------------- Calling evil good - Bill Wilson � www.dailyjot.com The ranking Democrat on the House Oversight Committee told MSNBC�s �All In� that Donald Trump�s only purpose for being president was to use the position as a �moneymakingoperation.� On July 11, Jamie Raskin (D-MD) explained that Republican attacks on Joe Biden were to distract from Trump converting the presidency into an instrument of profit maximization for himself and his family and he wants to keep this grift going.� Raskinclaimed, �So there�s gotta be an effort to bring down Joe Biden by putting him in the same category which is ridiculous and it is not convincing to the American people.� In other words, Raskin and the Democrats are saying Trump did what Biden is being accusedof doing. Raskin said that Democrats are �still in the thick of this fight to defend American democracy and democratic institutions against the autocrats and the theocrats and the kleptocratslike Donald Trump.� In politics, whenever someone accuses an opponent of doing something without any evidence, it is generally a sure bet that the accuser is doing exactly what he is accusing. In this case, Biden is proven to have used his position as VicePresident, and quite possibly President, to enrich himself and his family through influence peddling. It is proven in emails and voice recordings documenting Biden�s son, Hunter, shaking down communist Chinese businessmen for millions of dollars. There arealso bribery allegations and many others. Raskin�s remarks are untruthful and belie any factual evidence. But there is even a deeper meaning to Raskin�s rant. His words characterize a brand of �democracy� that doesn�texist in the US Constitution. This type of democracy involves an all powerful government that can impose its will on the American people through assumed and unelected administrative authority, redistribution of income to political causes and extremist organizations.This type of democracy stands for plying children with the most vile of sexual predation, killing the unborn, and promoting godlessness through public schools and institutions at taxpayer expense. This is the type of democracy that opens the borders and fomentshuman trafficking. This is the type of democracy that spends billions to support proxy wars without Congressional consent or oversight. Isaiah 5:20 says, �Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!� Andas Job 17:12 says, �They change the night into day; �The light is near,� they say, in the face of darkness.� They are the ones described by Proverbs 17:15, �who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, Both of them alike are an abomination to theLORD.� When all the Biden corruption was being reported before the 2020 election, it was being censored and called conspiracy theories by liars. They don�t know. Inconclusive. Can�t figure it out. The only thingthat would be more surprising is if they tried somehow to blame it on Donald Trump. Given the ridiculousness of this scam investigation, and the obvious attempt to cover it up by telling everyone that they just can�t find the person who put it there, theymust take everyone in America to just be stupid. With all the visitor logs, the security clearances, security cameras and time stamps, it just doesn�t meet the �straight face� test that the most powerful investigative agencies in the world can�t find the cocainestasher at the White House. On July 5, Trump asked on Truth Social, �Does anybody really believe that the COCAINE found in the West Wing of the White House, very close to the Oval Office, is for theuse of anyone other than Hunter & Joe Biden. But watch, the Fake News Media will soon start saying that the amount found was �very small,� & it wasn�t really COCAINE, but rather common ground up Aspirin, & the story will vanish.� Trump also asked where thesecurity tapes were, �which will quickly show where the cocaine in the White House came from???,� adding that they already know the answer, but probably don�t like it. Certainly, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to answer whether Biden or his sonmay be responsible or whether the White House supports prosecuting the unknown cocaine smuggler. As Trump predicted, the mainstream news media took sort of a �ho hum� approach to coverage. NBC�s Kelly O�Donnell tweeted, �Sources say the FBI crime lab used advanced techniquesto attempt to lift a usable print. The packet was tested at two federal labs.� This followed her previous tweet: �New information on cocaine packet found in the WH July 2. Sources tell me no information resulting from forensic testing or video review has beenable to identify a suspect. A list of several hundred individuals was compiled who may have had access to area.� Well, I guess that about wraps it up. Maybe they will move on to more in-depth coverage of something far more dangerous to national security�likeTrump�s classified documents that exposed all of the US military secrets to the world�I�m being facetious. The House Oversight letter demanding a briefing on the topic revealed that �According to a senior law-enforcement official, the cocaine was found in a storage facility thatis �routinely used by White House staff and guests to store cell phones.� Maybe add to it and �secluded enough to snort cocaine without any possible detection.� I don�t know. But this is the type of investigation and wordplay that the leftists in charge thinkis fine and dandy to satisfy the peasants� curiosity on things they just are too ignorant to understand�get my drift? Courts are beginning to strike down the overreaching mandatesused by unelected administrative agencies during COVID. Recent decisions at the District Court level against government agencies compelling, coercing or even partnering with big business to censor protected free speech are trending toward constructionist interpretationsof the Constitution. Indeed, state courts upholding the rights of parents in what amounts to sexual coercive decisions by school administrators and profit-mongering health systems to encourage sexual mutilation of minor children are encouraging. The legal process is slow and people are harmed while its glacier pace proceeds. Notwithstanding, judicial appointments during the Donald Trump administration are making adifference. While, the Supreme Court sat on the sidelines in the 2020 Presidential Election dispute (largely because states certified their own elections), the SCOTUS has restored the rule of law and common sense to several areas, rolling back the huge overstepon controlling our lives by what is called administrative law�the juggernaut of unelected government agencies determining how law is to be applied and enforced without following the intent of the law. For example, SCOTUS ruled the government had no authority to use an education debt relief bill designed to help first responders and military families to forgive student loansen masse. Quoting the Bible, Chief Justice John Roberts wrote, �The taxpayer must render unto Caesar what is Caesar�s, but no more,� when SCOTUS unanimously decided against �home equity theft,� on forced government sales of real estate due to unpaid tax debtwhere the government keeps the balance of proceeds over the tax owed�and that was a unanimous decision. The Court also ruled in favor of property owners when it ruled against the government encroaching environmentalist policy of declaring damp land (essentiallysaying it was a navigable waterway) off-limits to development by its owners. Epoch Times� Matthew Vadum writes, �The court made momentous strides in restoring constitutional order, returning the regulation of abortion to the states, safeguarding theright to bear arms in public for self-defense, and limiting the government�s ideology-driven war on carbon dioxide emissions. Its more recent decisions show that most justices are determined to continue this course. The court struck down racial discriminationin college admissions and declared President Joe Biden�s student loan forgiveness program unlawful. The justices also issued decisions upholding religious freedom and defending property rights from bureaucrats.� While slow, the progress is sure. Proverbs 28:5sayss, �Evil people don�t understand justice, but those who seek the Lord understand everything.� May we see God�s justice prevail. ----------------------------------------
