Digital Currency Social Engineering

Digital Currency Social Engineering - Expiry Dates and Purchase Restrictions? – Andrew Moran - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=6195 Expiry dates and restrictions on "less desirable" purchases are some of the key advantages behind central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), according to an economist at a WorldEconomic Forum (WEF) event. The WEF hosted the 14th annual Meeting of the New Champions in Tianjin, China, also known as Summer Davos. During one of the 30-minute panel discussions on June 28, CornellUniversity professor Eswar Prasad explained that the global economy is "at the cusp of physical currency essentially disappearing" and that programmable CBDCs and the technology behind these new forms of money could take the international economic landscapetoward a dark path or a better place. Prasad contended that one of the "huge potential gains" for the digitization of money is the programmability of CBDC units and attaching expiry dates. Governments can alsoutilize central bank money to socially engineer society. "You could have ... a potentially better--or some people might say a darker world--where the government decides that units of central bank money can be used to purchase somethings, but not other things that it deems less desirable like, say ammunition, or drugs, or pornography, or something of the sort," he said. "And that is very powerful in terms of the use of a CBDC, and I think also extremely dangerous to central banks." The author of "Gaining Currency" and "The Dollar Trap" purported that CBDCs possess unique characteristics and could be employed "as a conduit for economic policies in a verytargeted way, or more broadly for social policies." "That could really affect the integrity of central bank money and the integrity and independence of central banks," Prasad stated. "So, there are wonderful notions of thingsthat can be done with digital money, but again I fear the technology could take us to a better place, but equally has the potential to take us to a pretty dark place." CBDC Expiry Dates Integrating expiry dates with CBDCs has already been discussed by various central banks worldwide. The Bank of Canada (BoC) published a paper in 2021 entitled "Best Before? Expiring Central Bank Digital Currency and Loss Recovery." The institution weighed the pros and consof expiration dates, asserting that an expiry date would "automate personal loss recovery." "With this feature enabled, digital cash could not be spent after its expiry date. Consumers whose digital cash expired would automatically receive the funds back into theironline account without having to file a claim," the Canadian central bank wrote. "We show that offering the option of personal loss recovery could substantially increase consumer demand for digital cash. However, the length of time to expiry plays a key role.An expiry date that is too soon is inconvenient, but a date too far in the future slows down the reimbursement of lost digital cash." China has been exploring expiration dates for the digital yuan, suggesting that it would no longer be usable if not spent in a specific timeframe. The World Bank studied the effects of expiring money and argued that this could be a "potential monetary policy tool" to stimulate consumption during recessions or pandemics. "Expiring money would increase both the velocity of money and overall economic activity, similar to applying a negative rate to digital cash," the organization wrote. "Inpractice, a carrying fee on money would encourage people to spend it and thus prevent it from being hoarded." Indeed, CBDC advocates say digital money can be a flexible instrument to micro-target sectors, regions, interest rates, and socio-economic demographics with real-time feedback. Several countries including Japan and Russia will be launching their pilot projects for digital currency later this year. At this week's European Central Bank (ECB) forum in Portugal, ECB chief Christine Lagarde confirmed that the governors in the governing council would decide when a digitaleuro will happen at the end of October. ------------------------------ 15-Minute Cities, ESG Scores, Digital IDs: Where Will These Globalist Initiatives Lead? By David Bowen - https://harbingersdaily.com/15-minute-cities-esg-scores-digital-ids-where-will-these-globalist-initiatives-lead/ C40Cities is a global network of the mayors of the worlds leading cities united in confronting climate change. There are 96 member cities, including 14 in the United States. These 96 cities account for more than 20% of the global economy. The mayors of these cities plan to pass laws and offer incentives to have their plans accepted and implemented. One can look at Oxfordshire, England, as an example. Oxford is a city in England in the county of Oxfordshire and is one of the 96 members of the C40 Cities. I chose Oxfordshireas an example because they have a detailedwebsite available to anyone who wants to understand this concept better. The structure of C40 Cities is also called 15-minute Cities. The concept here is that filters would be placed around the city to keep people within a 15-minute radius of theirresidences. In their FAQ section on the councils website, it is explained how traffic filters work. These filters will not be physical road closures. Rather, they will be enforced byautomatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras. Unauthorized vehicles going through traffic filters can therefore be identified. Any car that goes through the traffic filter that is not exempt will be issued a fine. It was proposed that residents of Oxfordshire County will be issued 25 day passes per vehicle per year with a maximum of one car per person and two vehicles per household.Residents in the Oxford city permit area, who are most affected by the plan, would receive a maximum of 100 day passes per vehicle per year. Oxfordshire County did open up the plan for public comments. The council received over 5,700 comments, of which 93% opposed traffic filters and only 7% supported them. Yetin November 2022, Oxfordshire County Council approved 6.5m for six traffic filters. (At the time, 6.5m pounds was equal it $8,306,350 dollars.) Leaders say traffic filters are intended to reduce traffic levels in Oxford by targeting unnecessary journeys bycars and will encourage walking, cycling, and using shared public transportation. ESG Who Cares Wins You may have heard of the planned United Nations proposal Agenda 2030. Now its best known as ESG. ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Government. The term was firstused in a 2004 United Nations report entitled Who Cares Wins; Connecting Financial Markets to a changing world. ESG is a comprehensive framework which includes key elements around environmental and social impact. It is said that in order to succeed governments must amend their currentstructures. •Connecting financial markets to a changing world. •A comprehensive framework of critical environmental and social elements. •Amending governmental structure. What do all those objectives mean, and more importantly, what do they lead to? To answer that question, we do not need to guess. The World Economic Forum (WEF) and the WorldHealth Organization (W.H.O.) have boldly and publicly stated their plans. In 2016, the World Economic Forum public relations released a video entitled: 8 Predictions for the World in 2030. According to the WEF, this is how the world will be transformed aspart of Agenda 2030 and the New World Order. The eight predictions are: 1.Youll own nothing, and youll be happy about it. Instead, youll rent everything you need, and itll be delivered by drone right to your door. 2.The U.S. wont be the worlds leading superpower. Instead, a handful of countries will dominate together. 3.You wont die waiting for an organ donor. Custom organs will be 3D printed on demand. But only if your social credit score is high enough. 4.Youll eat much less meat. Meat will be an occasional treat, not a staple; this is for the good of the environment and our health. In other words, meat will become so rareand expensive that only the rich will afford it. 5.A billion people will be displaced by climate change. As a result, countries must prepare to welcome more refugees. By welcoming more refugees they mean eliminating borders. 6.Polluters will have to pay to emit carbon dioxide. To eliminate fossil fuels, there will be a global price on carbon. 7.You could be preparing to go to Mars. 8.Western values will have been tested to the breaking point. This means Western culture and values will slowly become extinct. The Digital Mark Thats quite a list! Is there a connecting link to all these initiatives? Yes. Its the Digital ID. The Digital ID will be the key to making all of these points co-exist. The World Economic Forum may have its eight predictions for the world. Mayors worldwide may be trying to change the structure of their cities. But Scripture also tells uswhat lies ahead in the future in Revelation 13:16-17, he causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, and the free and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, and he decrees that no one will be able to buyor to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. The Digital ID is not the Mark of the Beast, but the concept of a Digital ID begins to set the stage for the future Mark to be something people have already grown accustomedto and accepted. ---------------------------
