ISIS planning attacks on U.S. soil - Aaron Klein - http://www.wnd.com/2015/02/intel-isis-planning-attacks-on-u-s-soil/?cat_orig=world
Cells already in place for spring, summer offensive
Egypt, now at the forefront of fighting ISIS, is warning it has intelligence revealing the global jihadist group is planning a worldwide offensive this spring or summer that could reach targets within the United States.
Interrogations of ISIS members captured in recent weeks in the Egyptian Sinai Peninsula Egyptian and information collected by Egyptian security forces indicate ISIS is planning ground offensives this spring and summer aimed at taking over more territory across the Middle Eastern and Persian Gulf, a senior Egyptian intelligence official told WND.
Some of the information indicates the new offensive will not be limited to the Arab world. Timed to coincide with its planned surge, ISIS is plotting possible attacks using cells abroad.
ISIS and its jihadist allies could activate cells to carry attacks in Europe and possibly within the U.S., the senior Egyptian official warned.
The official advocated the deployment of significant ground troops acting on multiple fronts to stop ISIS' progression. He complained the Obama administration and international community has been hesitant to take major action against ISIS advances.
Egypt on Monday sent warplanes over the border into Libya to bomb ISIS targets after the terror group's well publicized, savage attack on Egyptian Christians.
Egyptian F-16 fighter jets reportedly struck ISIS training camps and weapons depots along Libya's coast, including targets in Derna, where Islamic extremist groups have joined with ISIS.
One day earlier, ISIS allies released a video that appears to show the execution of 21 Coptic Christian prisoners. The Coptic Church is headquartered in Egypt.
The Egyptian government reportedly dispatched its foreign minister to New York in a bid to rally international support for their military intervention in Libya.
Last week, WND reported Egypt estimates ISIS and its allies currently boast an army of about 180,000 fighters.
An Egyptian intelligence document, the contents of which were obtained by WND, warns that while the U.S. has been attempting to maintain a coalition to fight ISIS, the Islamic terrorist organization has itself been hard at work building a sustainable coalition of jihadist gunmen.
The 180,000 figure is up to six times greater than a CIA estimate from last September, which placed the number of ISIS fighters at between 20,000 and 31,500 fighters.
According to Egypt, ISIS has created an umbrella army with the Taliban, Al Shabab, Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula and local jihadist groups from Yemen, Mali, Gaza, Syria, Iraq, Pakistan, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the Egyptian Sinai.
Cells inside U.S.?
There have been numerous claims of ISIS cells embedded in the U.S.
Earlier this month, Michael Steinbach, head of the FBI's counter-terrorism division, was asked by CNN whether or not there are ISIS cells in the U.S.
Steinbach said, "[T]here are individuals that have been in communication with groups like [ISIS] who have a desire to conduct an attack," and those people are living in the U.S. right now.
He conceded the FBI finds it extremely difficult to track every American traveling abroad who can join ISIS or receive training by foreign terrorist organizations.
"I'm worried about individuals that we don't know about that have training," Steinbach said. "We know what we know. But there is a number that's greater than that that we don't know."
"Once you get to Europe, you can easily get down to Turkey and into Syria," he noted.
In August, former CIA officer Bob Baer told CNN he had been "told with no uncertainty there are ISIS sleeper cells in this country."
CNN cited two unnamed U.S. officials rebutting the claim but still expressing concern ISIS militants with passports might travel to the U.S. to launch attacks on American soil.
The Islamic State terror group released a video on Sunday showing the Islamic jihadis beheading 21 Egyptian Christians who were previously kidnapped in Libya.
The Egyptian Copts, who were dressed in prisoner-like orange jump suits, were lined up along a beach and abruptly beheaded in the graphic five-minute video.
The Islamic State's Al Hayat Media, the group that has published the previous beheading videos in the Middle East, produced the Libya video titled, "A Message Signed With Blood To The Nation Of The Cross."
"All praise is due to Allah the strong and mighty," said an ISIS jihadist dressed in military fatigues in American-accented English. "And may blessings and peace be upon the ones sent by the sword as a mercy to all the worlds," he added.
The masked ISIS member continues:
Oh people, recently you have seen us on the hills of Al-Sham and Dabiq's plain, chopping off the heads that have been carrying the cross for a long time, and today, we are on the south of Rome, on the land of Islam, Libya, sending another message.
All crusaders: safety for you will be only wishes especially if you are fighting us all together. Therefore we will fight you all together. The sea you have hidden Sheikh Osama bin Laden's body in, we swear to Allah we will mix it with your blood.
After the ISIS leader finishes speaking, his fellow terrorists then commence the beheading of the 21 Egyptian Christians. "And we will conquer Rome, by Allah's permission, the promise of our Prophet, peace be upon him," The militant leader says after his comrades slaughter the Christian hostages.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi immediately brought in his national defense council after being notified about the brutal murder of the twenty-one Egyptians. "It is with deep sorrow that President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi mourns the Egyptian victims of an abhorrent act of terrorism in Libya and offers his deepest condolences to the Egyptian people for their grave loss," said a statement from the Egyptian president's office.
Libya has largely fallen into a state of civil war and complete lawlessness following the U.S.-led effort that ultimately deposed its late autocrat Muammar Gaddafi in 2011. Islamist militias, some of which have pledged allegiance to the Islamic State, have been fighting fierce battles against the forces of secular, anti-Islamist Libyan General Khalifa Haftar.
Terrorist fronts guests of "president" at White House - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com
Back in the Clinton Administration, the Internet was a growing concern. Much of the information superhighway had many red light districts as the internet was a bonanza for the pornography industry. As one of the executives who helped commercialize the Internet with security technology and the author of the first book about making the Internet family friendly, I was invited to a conference on pornography and the internet hosted by then Attorney General Janet Reno. It was amazing to me how these liberals fought conservatives tooth and nail for the rights of the pornographers, yet hold a conference about the terrible impact of pornography on the internet. The same is happening today with the Islamic State.
On one hand, the "president" is saying that the IS is not representative of Islam. On the other hand, he is saying that he believes the people in the IS-attacked areas must stand for themselves. Out of one side of his mouth, he is saying that Christians are Crusaders, knowing full well out of the other side of his mouth, his words only embolden and encourage the atrocities and hate perpetrated by the IS. To me, this is all part of a propaganda effort to hold the majority of uninformed Americans at bay while he and his minions continue their treasonous plan to destroy America. Its called plausible deniability. Just like the Clintons with pornography, this White House is saying it is against something when it is for it.
Matthew Vadum of Front Page Magazine reports that the "president" is holding a conference Wednesday called the "Summit on Countering Violent Extremism." He says that members of the anti-terrorist community "are outraged" that officials of the Islamic Society of Boston (ISB) will participate. Vadum says ISB is associated with the top Islamic State propagandist who the FBI suspects is responsible for producing the hostage-beheading videos. Vadum reports: Ahmad Abousamra, who is the chief propagandist for the Islamic State, regularly attended ISB's Cambridge mosque...His father was a vice president of the Muslim American Society of Boston. This will be the second known meeting of radical Muslims at the White House this month.
On February 5, the Muslim Brotherhood elite were hosted by the "president" ostensibly to discuss al Qaeda's growing presence in Iraq. The Free Beacon reported that the chief Muslim Brotherhood lobbyist Anas Altikriti was present. Also present were Imam Mohamed Magid, whose Virginia Mosque offices were raided by federal agents after 9/11 under suspicion of funding terrorists, and Ashar Azeez of the Islamic Society of North America, an unindicted co-conspirator in terrorist fundraising and a Muslim Brotherhood front group. Its all things Muslim at the White House whether the "president" says he is against terrorism or not. As Jesus says in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you."
The persistent denials that ISIS is connected to Islam; that anti-Israelism is connected to anti-Semitism; that Jews are being directly targeted because they're Jewish, that Iran really is a terrorist state, all remind me of the Monty Python's Dead Parrot skit.
Except that the reality is far from funny. It's all very frustrating. But at least I get to occasionally grind my axe in these columns.
I'm sorry, people, the parrot isn't sleeping. It isn't even breathing. It's stone-cold dead, defunct and no longer with us. We need to wake up and smell the rotting corpse.
I don't care if you're the President or Prime Minister of Whatever State or an acknowledged Islamic historian. When you insist on ignoring hard evidence in favor of your ideology, you are either deluded or have an agenda. As far as the U.S. President is concerned, it's obvious which one fits his situation.
Let's get Mr. Obama's Christian Crusades versus Islamic Terrorism thing out of the way first. It took the president a whole year for his chance to get back at Dr. Ben Carson for that National Prayer Breakfast speech. Poison on the liver is hard to remove and some people love nursing their bitterness.
The president insists ISIS has nothing to do with Islam, but I doubt he believes that. In invoking the "Christian" crusades in context to ISIS he has tacitly admitted the connection with Islam. Most of us have seen the myriad of responses correcting Mr. Obama's fallacious connections. In case you haven't yet you can watch one of them HERE.
Unfortunately, facts will never take priority over a narrative driven by ideology. This attitude is exemplified by Islamic apologist and revisionist historian Karen Armstrong. She is noted for her "starry-eyed" presentation of Muhammad as "a great man and a prophet" and "peacemaker."
Hugh Fitzgerald has facetiously noted of her:
"For Karen Armstrong history does not exist. It is putty in the hands of the person who writes about history. You use it to make a point, to do good as you see it. And whatever you need to twist or omit is justified by the purity of your intentions - and Karen Armstrong always has the purest of intentions." (Emphasis mine)
Of course she has the best of intentions, as does the POTUS. Armstrong and Mr. Obama are change-agent soul-mates who aspire to rise above the facts.
In one of life's ironies - after ISIS killed a Jordanian pilot and after they murdered Egyptians and Libyans, Muslim majority Jordan and Egypt declared war on the organization. It's not just an irony that they've done so but also because of their quick response, in contrast to Mr. Obama's reticence to act.
Apparently Jordan and Egypt, unlike Mr. Obama, weren't too concerned with philosophical arguments as to whether or not ISIS represents Islam. One can deny the relationship but one is still faced with the reality of its brutality and the choice to respond appropriately.
Egypt and Jordan are now responding just as Israel would to attacks by Hamas or Hezbollah. Will the bleeding heart B.D.S. activists now turn their attention to them? Not likely.
This development also raises questions regarding Israel's future relationship to these states. Will Egypt and Jordan soften their stance on Israel in the face of the ISIS threat? I doubt it. Will Israel be judged by a different standard over any future retaliation against ISIS or Hamas (see Hamas link below)? You bet.
These military responses on ISIS camps in order to take out their manpower and resources will only affect a temporary reprieve. ISIS is a fluid chimerical organization which can quickly regroup and morph into something else. It draws almost inexhaustible manpower from extremist Mosques throughout the world and multiple financial backers. Its recruits take the Qur'an seriously rather than culturally. And like Iran's extremist mullahs, its agenda is apocalyptic.
ISIS' extremism has nothing to do with jobs or unemployment as State Department Deputy Spokesperson Marie Harf recently blurted. That is not only a fallacious sentiment, it's insane. The sharp increase in attacks against Jews in Europe can be largely (not solely) attributed to the uptake in Islamic migration.
But the Dead Parrot is Alive Society denies all this because it contradicts the adopted spiel. That's why these problems can never be resolved and will only escalate.
The most prominent and dangerous member of the Parrot Society is Barack Obama. His love affair with Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood has irrevocably changed the dynamics in the Middle East and is painting Israel into a corner.
Mr. Obama has created an administration of like-minded people, in which radical Valerie Jarrett is arguably the most notorious example. This administration is the perfect one for the perfect storm. And there's two more years of it left.
How will that impact Israel?
Of course, we know that whatever happens next will be according to God's sovereign plan. That's a comforting thought.
Keep looking up.
ISIS Should Have Stopped at the Beheadings - Todd Strandberg - http://www.raptureready.com/rap16.html
The Islamic State group that controls parts of Syria and Iraq has already established its evilness by raping, stoning, and beheading anyone who resists its will. ISIS has now "upped the ante" by burning alive Jordanian pilot, Maaz al-Kassasbeh.
I stumbled onto the shocking details of a highly produced 22-minute video on a Fox News website. It was systematically laid out like a Shakespearean play. Only in this case, it ends with a guy screaming in agony as he is being engulfed by flames.
ISIS was so proud of its achievement, it set up giant screens in Raqqa, Syria to show the gory video to cheering crowds. As the execution footage ran in the background, ISIS supporters shouted, "Allahu Akbar." I can only wonder how many times a Muslim asks himself, "Why do we always say 'Praise Allah' every time we murder someone?"
Jordan immediately executed two prisoners in retaliation for the death of the tortured pilot. The prisoners, Sajida al-Rishawi was a would-be suicide bomber and Ziad Karbouli was a member of al Qaeda who killed a Jordanian driver. Since both of them had blood on their hands, they should have already had a date with a hangman's noose.
We seem to be at a dead end with our outrage. If we are already shocked by the "ultimate brutality" of previous acts by ISIS, we can only recycle our comments of anger when it comes them roasting people alive like marshmallows.
Our political leaders and news media have a profound lack of understanding about the wickedness that drives ISIS. While we think all this murder and carnage is disgusting, many young Muslims find it mesmerizing and are eager to join the ISIS cause. It is estimated that our bombing campaign has killing around 1,000 ISIS members each month. It is also estimated that during the same time period 1,500 new recruits join the group.
The appeal that ISIS has is what I would call the Marilyn Manson effect. He is the singer who came to fame in the 90s by specializing in songs with satanic themes. His 1996 album Antichrist Superstar sold seven million copies. Manson was a horrible singer, but his shocking stunts made him rich and famous.
A lot of preachers deserve credit for over sensationalizing Manson's demonic antics, which helped sell his records and concert tickets to rebellious youth who would be drawn to go see the guy who said, "Hopefully, I'll be remembered as the person who brought an end to Christianity"(Spin magazine, August 1996). Well, Mr. Manson, we're still waiting. Now that his Satanism shtick is getting old, Manson's album sales are slowing down. His last record only moved 130,000 units.
The key problem here is the lack of a moral foundation on our part. If we were truly disgusted by the actions of ISIS, blame would find its way back to the source-the Muslim faith. There is no way Christians could avoid collective guilt with these types of atrocities. Our own Islamic-friendly president proved this fact when he spoke at a prayer breakfast. Obama tried to deflect blame away from ISIS by calling out the deeds of the Crusaders; a perceived offense that dates back 800 years.
Winston Churchill once said, "Islam is as dangerous in a man as rabies in a dog." Even if you use this quote to make sense of the actions of Islamists, you will be labeled a racist. Since rabies only causes a physical sickness, Churchill may have been too kind to Islam. I think the former prime minister had a better quote when he said, "[We] must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men."
Anyone who can stand by and grin as someone is being burned alive has reached a level of evil equal to the Nazi guards that peered into the peepholes at Auschwitz with delight as the Jews clawed at the walls of the gas chambers. I think ISIS should have stopped at the beheadings. In their demonic madness, they don't realize they are staring at their own future fate-damnation in eternal hell fire.
"And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame" (Luke 16:24).
"And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell" (Matthew 5:29).
Something curious is happening in the Middle East...
Amidst President Obama's repeated moves to withdraw American military power and influence from the Middle East and "pivot" to Asia, three regional leaders in the epicenter are forming a quiet, unexpected but fiercely determined alliance.
Why? To protect their people against two existential threats, one posed by the Shia Radical Islamists of Iran, the other posed by the Sunni Radical Islamists of ISIS.
Who are they?
*Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu;
*Jordan's King Abdullah II; and
*Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
They are meeting secretly. They are talking regularly by phone, as well as with other leaders in the region from Saudi Arabia to the Gulf. Their senior advisors are also in regular contact, coordinating moves to counter their most serious enemies. They are not waiting for Washington. Indeed, they often see the White House and State Department as less than helpful, and sometimes opposed to - or not truly understanding - their national and shared interests.
As 2014 began, I wrote a series of columns about why we should keep our eye on these three (for a sampling, see here, here, here, here, and here.) As 2015 begins, I hold to this analysis. These men are critically important players who are actively trying to shape the future of the Middle East for the better, and who are trying to work closely with the U.S. despite resistance from the White House.
NETANYAHU - Prime Minister Netanyahu declared war on Hamas last summer amidst a jihadist rampage sweeping the region. An experienced expert in battling jihad, few leaders have warned about the overall threat of Radical Islam - and specifically about the Iranian nuclear threat - not just to Israel but to the U.S. and the world more clearly or consistently than he.
"To defeat ISIS and leave Iran as a threshold nuclear power would be to win the battle and lose the war," Netanyahu told leaders at the UN last September. "ISIS and Hamas are branches of the same poisonous tree. They share the same fanatical creed....The Nazis believed in a master race. The militant Islamists believe in a master faith....Militant Islam is on the march. It's not militants. It's not Islam. It's militant Islam....Allowing Iran to reach nuclear capabilities will pose the greatest threat to us all."
He leads the most faithful and trusted ally America has in the Middle East (and arguably in the world), yet he is persona non grata in the White House, and far closer to his colleagues in Amman and Cairo.
ABDULLAH - King Abdullah II has declared war on ISIS and launch repeated rounds of airstrikes after a Jordanian pilot was burned alive by ISIS. He is pro-Western and has worked closely with the U.S. military and intel community for years.
What's more, the King and his top advisors are also actively engaged in trying to deconstruct and delegitimize the theology of Radical Islam. In 2005, the King issued the "Amman Message," a public call for Muslims to reject violent extremism, promote tolerance and moderation, and project innocent human life, based on a "Reformer" interpretation of Islam. Since then, some 552 Muslim leaders, scholars and clerics in 84 countries have signed the document in agreement. He has also worked hard to protect Christian minorities in Jordan.
The King, perhaps America's most trusted and faithful Arab ally, has the best relationship with Obama of the three - yet it is far from what it should be. The President reportedly was not even planning to meet with His Majesty on his recent trip to Washington, and apparently only changed his plans after learning of the Jordanian pilot's death. Even then, they met for less than 20 minutes.
El-SISI - President el-Sisi has declared war on the Muslim Brotherhood and other brands of jihad. In the summer of 2013, he and the Egyptian military brought down the Brotherhood that was strangling Egypt and was trying to impose Sharia law. He declared a ferocious war on the lawless jihadists operating in the Sinai desert, shut down many of the smuggling tunnels connecting the Sinai to the Gaza Strip, and committed himself to cutting off the arms and money flowing to the Hamas terror group operating in Gaza.
Most recently, he delivered a major speech in Cairo on January 1, 2015 challenging Muslim leaders to reform Islam and rescue it from the Radicals. "Is it possible that 1.6 billion people [Muslims] should want to kill the rest of the world's inhabitants - that is 7 billion - so that they themselves may live? Impossible!" el-Sisi told scholars at Al-Azhar University, the Harvard of Sunni Islam. "We are in need of a religious revolution. You, imams, are responsible before Allah. The entire world is waiting for your next move....I am saying these words here at Al Azhar, before this assembly of scholars and ulema (learned men) - Allah Almighty be witness to your truth on Judgment Day concerning that which I'm talking about now."
Yet while el-Sisi has forged excellent working relations with Abdullah and with Netanyahu (especially important during the 2014 war with Hamas), the Obama administration refuses to treat el-Sisi as partner and ally of the United States. Instead, it condemned removal of the Muslim Brotherhood from power and called for Mohammed Morsi to be put back into power. (Morsi is the man who famously said during a campaign speech, "The Koran is our constitution, the Prophet is our leader, jihad is our path and death in the name of Allah is our goal.")
Meanwhile, the Obama team has refused to dispense more than $500 million in promised aid to Egypt. A top Egyptian official said U.S-Egyptian relations were in "turmoil" in 2013. The situation remained so bad that in the summer of 2014 el-Sisi declined an invitation from President Obama to come to meet him in Washington.
Two U.S. officials told me of a meeting they had with President el-Sisi in Cairo last year. The Egyptian leader told them he had a better working relationship with Netanyahu than with President Obama.
True, Israel signed a peace treaty with Egypt in 1979, and signed a separate peace treaty with Jordan in 1994. But that has not always meant the countries worked closely together. Indeed, there have been times of much stress and tension in each of these relationships.
But times are changing. The rise of the Radicals, and the retreat of Mr. Obama, is bringing these three leaders together in unexpected ways.
Each sees his country in grave danger from the forces of Radical Islam.
Each has chosen to boldly and aggressively engage in military action against the Radicals to protect their people, despite widespread criticism at home and abroad.
Each is also increasingly speaking out publicly about the nature of the threat - the poisonous, genocidal theology of the jihadists - and each is calling on the world both to understand the threat and help them first contain and then defeat Radical Islam before it is too late.
Yet to their astonishment, Netanyahu, King Abdullah and el-Sisi have come to realize that President Obama and his administration do not fully appreciate the magnitude of the threat, and that the Obama team is not fully committed to taking decisive action to neutralize the threat.
Will this alliance succeed to stopping Iran, ISIS and other Radicals? Only time will tell. But it's an important - though very sensitive partnership - and one the U.S. should be assisting, not resisting.

Amidst Obama retreat from Mideast, three regional leaders are forming a quiet but fiercely determined alliance against Iran & ISIS - Joel C. Rosenberg - https://flashtrafficblog.wordpress.com/2015/02/15/amidst-obama-retreat-from-mideast-three-regional-leaders-are-forming-a-quiet-but-fiercely-determined-alliance-against-iran-isis-who-are-they-and-what-do-they-want/
*Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu;
