The foundational underpinnings of this nation, the representative Constitutional Republic, are being shaken to the core every day that this current administration is allowed to function. We the People are violated. The Declaration of Independence says, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed..." Do you consent to your rights to privacy, free speech, and to life being undermined by the government?
On January 26, 1830, Daniel Webster addressed the Senate, saying, "It is, Sir, the people's government, made for the people, made by the people, and answerable to the people. The people of the United States have declared that this Constitution shall be the supreme law." Article II Section 3 of the Constitution states "he [the President] shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed." From countless examples over the past six years, we have a lawless "president" and administration. Now, by fiat of agency, the Federal Communications Commission at the direction of the White House is taking over control of the Internet. The FCC chairman refuses to meet with Congress about it.
A court has ruled that the "president" has overstepped his bounds in refusing to secure the borders from illegal aliens. At a town hall meeting Wednesday, he warned that Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials that do not follow his illegal amnesty directive will answer to Homeland Security. He said, "If somebody is working for ICE and there is a policy and they don't follow the policy, there are going to be consequences to it." We are facing a Constitutional crisis in this country. An Islamist Marxist "president" is lawless, and arrogant about being so. Ourselves and our posterity are in grave danger. There is no leader to save this nation. Don't look to man. In Christ the answer is found. But we must be willing to act.
Galatians 5:1 says, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." Christ gave us the principles of liberty. In John 8:36, Jesus said, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed." There is bondage of sin and bondage of man, rooted in sin. There will come a time, if it is not already, that men of God must not only pray, but act boldly to remain both physically and spiritually free. Revelation speaks of the martyrs who were beheaded for their witness of Christ. Freedom is in Christ. Your actions determine your freedom. Sin is trying to take it from you. We cannot be so heavenly minded that we are no earthly good. YOU, yes YOU, are not given a spirit of fear, but of power, and love and of a sound mind. Be DOERS of the Word. Stand fast. Act.
