It is written in 1 Timothy 2:7, "For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. The Apostle Peter writes in 1 Peter 4:7-8, "But the end of all things is at hand: be therefore sober minded, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent love among yourselves: for love shall cover a multitude of sins." It is not sound-mindedness when Christians question other Christians' Christianity or salvation because they are expressing their political beliefs. This is wrong-mindedness. This political election cycle has viciously divided many of us who should have God's love and affection one for another. Sober-mindedness needs to be employed. We need to have unity.

 

Because of what I have written in The Daily Jot about Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, some claiming to be Christians have called into question my salvation. They say that I cannot be Christian and support a man like Donald Trump. Let's see-Trump has recently gone on record as saying supports the sanctity of life, would appoint pro-life, conservatives to the Supreme Court, work to repeal the rule not allowing pastors of 501C3 churches to speak on politics; he would reverse the policies against Israel; defeat the Islamic State; stop illegal and dangerous immigration; and stand up for Christians being persecuted around the world. He also said he would bring jobs back to the US and reduce taxes.

 

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is ardently pro-abortion and admires Planned Parenthood's racist founder Margaret Sanger. She has committed to appoint "progressive" (meaning communist) pro-abortion justices to the Supreme Court. She believes pastors should not be protected by the First Amendment. She plans a TRILLION-dollar-plus tax increase. She will continue the US policies against Israel and promote non-vetted Islamic immigration into the US. She will continue the globalist economic policies that keep Americans out of work. Her reckless custody of national security secrets and endless trail of scandals speak volumes. Clinton will continue the unsecure and dangerous US border policy.

 

Which candidate more aligns with the Biblical definition of leadership selection found in Exodus 18:21-able men, respecting God, men of truth, hating covetousness (taking what you have and giving it to themselves or others)? And people want to question another's salvation for supporting Trump? Elections tend to bring out the worst in people because emotions run high. Putting personal offense ahead of common sense is wrong-minded and lacks discernment. Justifying a non-vote or a vote for someone who can't win based on principle, is nothing short of cowardice. Going to both candidates' websites, studying up, choosing the one that more closely matches with Christian beliefs is making an informed decision and exercising sound-mindedness. Respectful discussion demonstrates love.

In 1998, First Lady Hillary Clinton invoked the words "vast right-wing conspiracy" in defense of her husband, President Bill Clinton, amid the sex scandal that would eventually cause his impeachment. It has its own Wikipedia page. Bill Clinton also used the same terms when criticism was leveled at the current occupant of the Oval Office. Now it has been brought out of the political bag of tricks again by Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to deflect the fact that she used her position as Secretary of State to enrich herself in a pay to play scheme. AP and Judicial Watch have used Clinton's own emails to confirm that she and her aids demanded money in return for access to State Department meetings.

 

Whenever the Clintons come under fire, they roll out the victim card and tell the media that they are the brunt of a "vast right-wing conspiracy." The New York Times posted a video of Clinton responding to the AP/Judicial Watch bribery scheme confirmations by attacking her "opponent" as a racist, submitting to a "remerging racist ideology known as the alt-right." Clinton has avoided public appearances and media contact during this truth storm revealing her ongoing corruption and disregard for national security. When she finally came out of hiding, she employed this long-standing Clinton strategy-- answer allegations with smears and conspiracy theory, while claiming her opponent is smearing her.

 

When Clinton and the Democratic Party operatives smear their opponent with racist and bigot allegations, they really mean that anyone who votes for him is also a racist and a bigot. Nobody wants to be considered a racist or a bigot or part of some outrageous vast right-wing conspiracy or the alt right wing, whatever that is. So the Clintons are trying to shame you into voting for her or not voting at all because while she may be the most corrupt candidate in recent memory, at least those who vote for her are not part of a vast right-wing, alt right, racist, bigot conspiracy. Nevertheless, that's how the left views Christians who are pro-life and believe in the right to bear arms. They have repeatedly said it.

 

The Clintons are expert at insinuation and painting a smear picture of their opponents. They are artful at making people lose their nerve to vote over fear of being labeled something unacceptable to society. While claiming they are the victims of smear (which in reality is factual evidence of their wrong-doing), they smear others and label them so the non-thinking people will shy away. This is their tried and true campaign strategy. Don't take the bait. Ephesians 5:6,7, says, "Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things comes the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not you therefore partakers with them." On election day, we should hit the "alt-control-delete" button on the Clinton campaign against America, and not allow her to paint Christian Americans as "alt-right."

Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's campaign is not denying that the Clinton Foundation took money from people in exchange for meetings at the State Department. Clinton's campaign, however, is attacking the veracity of the story by saying that Associate Press, who broke the story that Clinton operated a pay to play scheme for favors and access to her at the State Department, only studied a small sample of the number of meetings where there was money offered for favors. The fact, remains, however, that AP found a documented pattern and a notable system of corruption. This story confirms what was reported Monday by government investigative watchdog, Judicial Watch.

 

Judicial Watch released 725 of new State Department documents and 20 previously unreleased emails, in which the former Secretary of State's top aide Huma Abedin "provided influential Clinton Foundation donors special, expedited access to the secretary of state. In many instances, the preferential treatment provided to donors was at the specific request of Clinton Foundation executive Douglas Band." Judicial Watch says, "These records further appear to contradict statements by Clinton that, "as far as she knew," all of her government emails were turned over to the State Department." These and the AP investigation reveal an elaborate scheme to enrich the Clintons while she was Secretary of State.

 

Judicial Watch states: "The Abedin emails reveal that the longtime Clinton aide apparently served as a conduit between Clinton Foundation donors and Hillary Clinton while Clinton served as secretary of state. In more than a dozen email exchanges, Abedin provided expedited, direct access to Clinton for donors who had contributed from $25,000 to $10 million to the Clinton Foundation. In many instances, Clinton Foundation top executive Doug Band, who worked with the Foundation throughout Hillary Clinton's tenure at State, coordinated closely with Abedin. In Abedin's June deposition to Judicial Watch, she conceded that part of her job at the State Department was taking care of "Clinton family matters."

 

Worse yet, State Department spokesman Mark Toner told reporters Monday that there were no improprieties with Abedin or Clinton because that's simply "evidence of the way the process works." Ever wonder how third world dictators become so wealthy? Hillary Clinton just showed the world how it's done in America. She fleeced people for access and enriched herself in doing so. Clinton used the State Department as her little dictatorship and received bribes. In Exodus 23:8 the Lord says, "And you shall take no bribe: for the bribe blinds the wise, and perverts the words of the righteous." Some translations say a bribe subverts the cause of the just. Is there no end to Clinton's dishonesty?

Huma Abedin worked for Hillary Clinton when she was a U.S. Senator, when she was Secretary of State, and at this moment Abedin currently serves as her top campaign aide. If Clinton wins the election in November, it seems virtually a certainty that Abedin will become the White House chief of staff. She is already one of the most powerful women in America, and yet the vast majority of Americans have absolutely no idea who she is. Well, it turns out that she worked at a publication run by her mother known as "the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs" for more than a decade as an assistant editor. While Huma Abedin worked there, the journal regularly published articles that promoted radical Islamic causes and that opposed the rights of women. In fact, Abedin's mother edited a book that was published in 1999 "that justifies the barbaric practice of female genital mutilation under Islamic law". If you know anything about that insidious practice, then you already know that it is one of the most horrific things being done to women around the globe today.

 

Not only that, but one article that was published while Abedin worked there actually blamed the United States for 9/11. The following comes from the New York Post...

 

Huma continued to work for her mother's journal through 2008. She is listed as "assistant editor" on the masthead of the 2002 issue in which her mother suggested the US was doomed to be attacked on 9/11 because of "sanctions" it leveled against Iraq and other "injustices" allegedly heaped on the Muslim world. Here is an excerpt:

 

"The spiral of violence having continued unabated worldwide, and widely seen to be allowed to continue, was building up intense anger and hostility within the pressure cooker that was kept on a vigorous flame while the lid was weighted down with various kinds of injustices and sanctions. It was a time bomb that had to explode and explode it did on September 11, changing in its wake the life and times of the very community and the people it aimed to serve."

 

Needless to say, the Clinton campaign is not commenting on any of this.

 

For many years, there has been much speculation about the nature of the relationship between Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin. And to this day, many of those questions remain unanswered (at least publicly). What we do know is that Hillary feels extremely close to Huma and trusts her implicitly.

 

But should she?

 

Huma Abedin has been accused of being a "Saudi spy", and there are claims that her family has had ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. And without a doubt, her mother holds to a form of radical Islam that should be antithetical to everything that America is supposed to stand for.

 

Despite all of this, Abedin has a tremendous amount of support in both parties, and that includes top Republicans such as John McCain...

 

Many politicians, of both parties, strongly support Abedin including Republican Senator John McCain of Arizona.

 

'Put simply, Huma represents what is best about America: the daughter of immigrants, who has risen to the highest levels of our government on the basis of her substantial personal merit and her abiding commitment to the American ideals that she embodies so fully,' McCain said then. He added: 'I am proud to know Huma and to call her my friend.'

 

One of the controversies that has brought Abedin into the forefront in recent months was the email scandal that could have potentially derailed the Clinton campaign and ended Hillary's political career for good. And now we are getting indications that the scandal may not be completely over. Earlier today, Bloomberg reported that there are approximately "15,000 previously undisclosed documents" which the FBI has recovered from Hillary's email servers which will soon be released to the public...

 

A federal judge has ordered the U.S. State Department to accelerate its review of almost 15,000 previously undisclosed documents recovered by the FBI from private e-mail servers used by Hillary Clinton while she was secretary of state.

 

Those documents are among tens of thousands of records the State Department is sifting through to cope with the demands of a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by the conservative group Judicial Watch as the presidential race between Democrat Clinton and Republican Donald Trump enters a crucial phase.

 

So what will those emails show?

 

Could they potentially contain solid evidence that could lead to the prosecution of Hillary Clinton and many of her top aides?

 

I wouldn't hold your breath.

 

But if those documents are released in time, and if they contain some very damaging information, they could perhaps sway some key swing state voters at a critical point in the election.

 

If you follow my work regularly, you probably already know that I am very skeptical of those that believe that Donald Trump is going to win the election. The elite are desperate to keep Donald Trump out of the White House, and so they are throwing their support behind Hillary Clinton in a major way.

 

The Clinton campaign has far more money than the Trump campaign does, the mainstream media has completely sold out for Hillary, and hordes of establishment Republicans have already publicly committed to vote for her.

 

So at this moment, everything appears to be going her way.

 

But there is a long way to go until November, and one huge scandal could literally change everything in a single moment.
