24 "There is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.

25 They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword: though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of them that be slain." (Ezekiel 32:24-25)

 

If you start reading Ezekiel and understand that all the people around Israel are being prophesied to being slain with the sword. In the above verses, God speaks through Ezekiel about a country called "Elam".. Where is the land called Elam? This was the name of the land east of Mesopotamia and southwest, which is modern day Iran. Continue reading and as you come to chapter 31 and beyond, it appears to be a chronological order of disaster for all the people who surround Israel. These chapters lead up to the well known prophecy of Ezekiel 38-39.

 

Many bible scholars believe that a lot of these prophecies were fulfilled in time that Ezekiel actually wrote these chapters through Holy Spirit directives. Since we know that Ezekiel 38-39 has not been fulfilled as of yet, then logically, we can assume that the passages are a duality of prophecy that will be fulfilled in the last days.

 

As Ezekiel names each country that will receive judgment from God, we see that they are the same countries that are modern day enemies of Israel since her foundation as a sovereign country in 1948. God names Egypt in chapters 30-31 along with the nations that comprise northern Africa such as Ethiopia, Libya and others in confederation with Egypt called Chub. As you progress though chapters leading to chapter 38, judgment is pronounced on modern day Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and those countries that are touching the land of Israel then and today. Each will fall by the sword "which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living." Maybe a clear reference to Muslim terrorism we deal with today?

 

You'll notice that in chapter 34, God pronounces judgment on ancient Israel for their lack of being a shepherd to the flock of their people, which historically we know that Israel was taken to Babylonia for 70 years for not following the laws of God and His judgments. But notice that these chapters cover roughly 2500 years up to and including our modern era. God is telling Ezekiel what will happen in the very days that we live in and the judgment of those who come against His people Israel. Israel is back in her promised land, given to them by covenant by Almighty God for a perpetual and eternal inheritance that no one can annul. Israel is still surrounded by her ancient enemies, many of them came from their same ancestor, the patriarch Abraham. It has been a feud between a family of nations for nigh 4000 years, and is about to come to a climax. I believe sooner than later.

 

ARE WE IN WORLD WAR III?

 

Considering the news from the Middle East about in the past of ISIS, the Iranians which are Shiite, and Saudi Arabia, which is Sunni, we are in what I believe is a regional war between two sects of Islam and both are jockeying for political power based on their interpretation of what the Quran says, and who they follow as their perceived leader of their so called "religion". Personally, it's not a religion, but a theocracy of political, moral, and spiritual governance based on Sharia Law. But let us focus on what may be coming to the people who surround the one country that is in the center of all this political conflict, Israel.

 

We have been watching the developments in the Middle East for years now, as the play book changes from one day to the next. No one thought that we would be dealing with a Russian involvement in Syria, or their working with Iran directly in the area, but here we are with Iran on the border of Israel at the Golan Heights.

 

In the past the USA's "usurper" in chief pushed for a nuclear deal with one portion of the Islamic religion Iran, that is attempting to become the dominant power in the region by developing nuclear weapons, thus threatening all who live in this area of our planet and extending to the entire world. My question has always been "How long will Israel allow this threat to continue from Iran?" I have pondered this question now for nigh 15 years. Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu gave an impassioned plea to our US Congress in March 2016 warning of the "Iran Deal" as a bad deal. We could spend several commentaries focusing on the conflict between Israel's PM and this past POTUS to include shenanigans to influence the Israeli elections, but thank God, Netanyahu was re-elected, as he is the only leader in Israel who will stand up to this looming threat of Iran. But my focus in this message, is what could be next in the unrest of the so-called "Arab Spring" and the regional war that is brewing in a cauldron that is about to explode all over the news. As mentioned previously, we have Russia who has taken up residence in Syria and obviously has no intention of leaving, as more military hardware, airstrips and missiles capable of striking Israel or anyone in the region. It is reported that Iranians troops are a few miles off the border with Israel at the Golan Heights, and Israel is eyeing them for any possible excursion into their territory.

 

WHEN or WILL ISRAEL ACT?

 

It has been reported that Israel had looked for a green light from Washington DC in 2014 to take out Iran's nuclear ambitions, but was threatened by Obama, as reported in Israeli News outlets:

 

"The Bethlehem-based news agency Ma'an has cited a Kuwaiti newspaper report at that time, that US President Barack Obama thwarted an Israeli military attack against Iran's nuclear facilities in 2014 by threatening to shoot down Israeli jets before they could reach their targets in Iran.

 

Following Obama's threat, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was reportedly forced to abort the planned Iran attack.

 

According to Al-Jarida, the Netanyahu government took the decision to strike Iran some time in 2014 soon after Israel had discovered the United States and Iran had been involved in secret talks over Iran's nuclear program and were about to sign an agreement in that regard behind Israel's back."

 

Is it any wonder that Netanyahu came to the US Congress to present his case to the American people and to warn of the danger, to them, and to the world? This is speaking of our only ally in the Middle East, as Israel has been our friend since its birth in 1948 and has been a partner in providing intelligence to the USA about the dangers that abound in the area. Let's not forget the technological advances that have benefited this country, because of our inherit friendship. But that friendship that was imperiled by the outgoing "idiot in chief" , but has redeveloped with the present administration of POTUS Trump and VP Pence. And I forget, now we have Iran that is considered a partner in insuring peace in the region . . YEAH, RIGHT!! When I heard that stupid remark, my mouth had to be picked up off the floor. Thankfully, President Trump sees who the Iranians really are and is not a closet Muslim as was Obama, but puts our interest and our ally's interest ahead of political correctness.

 

Israel was pretty much on her own in the recent past, but I pray that position has changed. Israel looks for regional players who will stop the spread of Iranian power with Russian backing in the region and has found an unlikely partnership in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Yes, you heard right. Two of the past enemies of the state of Israel, and still are, helping each other to defeat Iranian power spreading to Yemen and the Houthi rebels that were financed by Iran. For now, they put aside their differences to attack what the region fears more than their mutual hatred of Israel, the conquering of the Middle East by Iran. In the past, these countries could no longer rely on the USA to be their protector anymore, but we pray that Israel and their collusion with other Middle East countries has changed to have faith in the present administration. These countries have taken on mounting an attack on Iranian power. Not only is that contradiction in terms of Israel, Egypt and Saudi Arabia in a regional alliance, but something was reported that tells me that the countdown to an Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear facilities is imminent.

 

HAS ISRAEL DEVELOPED THEIR OWN BUNKER BUSTER BOMBS?

 

I read a report of a military depot that was bombed and the blast was so large, that only a bunker buster bomb could have penetrated the storage facilities that were buried. Arutz Sheva in Israel reports the following quote:

 

"Israel has developed and tested its own bunker buster bomb, that has been described as "a very credible military option," to use against Iran.

 

The 500-pound "MP-500" bomb is laser-guided, and has been shown penetrating four reinforced concrete walls. Iran has buried several of its nuclear facilities, including a uranium enrichment plant, under concrete bunkers in mountainous areas.

 

The government-owned Israel Military Industries (IMI) developed the bomb, an upgrade of the U.S. Mk82 bunker buster.

 

'The lethality, precision ... and relatively low weight enables its use against multiple targets in a single pass; an element that increases the operational effectiveness of attack,' according to IMI."

 

"Israel is preparing to improve its capabilities to attack Iran's nuclear facilities by enlarging its aerial refueling aircraft to carry enough fuel for F-15 and F-16 warplanes that would be used in an attack on Iran.

 

Israel used 707 airplanes as flying bombing platforms to attack Yemen and a signal to Iran that they are capable of bombing their nuclear facilities. Knowing the advanced military planning that is a hallmark of the IDF, I see them using both platforms of F-35 jets to deliver these bombs (delivered in 2017) along with laser guided bombs from high altitude 707's, plus Saudi Arabia has given them the green light to fly over their airspace to provide the pathway to destroying Iran's nuclear facilities that Saudi Arabia fears and has cleared the way for an Israeli approach. This could be a long campaign and could be a virtual suicide mission by the Israeli pilots, as the S-300 anti-aircraft missiles would have to be considered. But Israel also has the ability to apply Stealth technology to their aircraft that cannot be seen by radar, or they can fly low till they reach their targets. Iranian nuclear facilities are wide-spread and in hardened underground facilities. I have read that Israel knows that they cannot destroy everything in their nuclear program, but can set the program back many years by hitting bottle neck attack points (a kind of choke point) that would virtually cripple the program using precision laser guided strikes.

 

I've often wondered if this strike would be anything but conventional weapons. Israel could resort to low yield nuclear weapons to make the devastation widespread and total in its destruction if they felt conventional bombs would not complete their objective of destroying Iran's nuclear ambitions. Of course, this would raise the loud protest of the international community no matter what weapon is used, but the howling would be even louder if it were nuclear. So, I believe this will begin the assault on Israel from her neighbors of Psalm 83 and their eventual defeat and conquest. I believe the entire world will be against Israel no matter the outcome and no one coming to help her, when the Iranian/Russian coalition decides to attack. (Gog-Magog).

 

GOG-MAGOG WAR SIGNALS THE REVEALING OF THE ANTI-CHRIST

 

I believe in my own spirit, that we will not see the coming Gog-Magog coalition that has Russian, Iran and even Turkey and other European countries, such as Germany come to take Israel down for her resources and to finally rid what they consider, the sole ingredient in the Middle East for unrest and sending the whole world into a nuclear conflict. It is ordained in prophecy that the true God of Israel will be their protector by destroying this invading army on the mountains of Israel and revealing Himself as alive and well to His people of Israel. So ushers in a relative peaceful existence for Israel as they clamor to rebuild their planned third temple and animal sacrifices are again initiated.

 

I believe because of the wide spread destruction that God will rain down on the invading forces that are destroyed on the mountains of Israel, a man that came out of nowhere as a leader of a European country..(could it be France and President Macron?) that this man will propose a covenant between Israel and the world. A covenant that had not been confirmed, but now is made a peace treaty that gives Israel a false sense of security to build the third Temple on the Temple Mount and falsely believe that they have been visited by the "political messiah" that will ensure their peace and security.

 

26 "And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate." (Daniel 9:26-27)

 

Note and understand that the prophet Ezekiel made a prophecy that spans nearly 3000 years, as in verse 26 he proclaims what happened in 70 AD, and in the very next verse proclaims and prophecies what will again happen in our modern times when the Anti-Christ breaks a covenant that will be in the middle of the 7 year Tribulation. Some people read these two verses and bind them together, but I feel, fail to understand that Ezekiel speaks of two totally different time periods, one ancient and the other for our modern era.

 

WHO IS THE PROPHESIED GOG OF THIS EZEKIEL PROPHECY?

 

As has been reported, our good friend in Russia, Vladimir Putin (of course, I jest) has delivered the S-300 missiles to Iran after years of holding them up.

 

Wall Street Journal reports- "The Kremlin lifted its self-imposed ban on the delivery of a powerful missile air-defense system to Iran on Monday, stoking sharp criticism from the White House and Israel and casting fresh doubt on the international effort to curb Tehran's nuclear program."

 

Any delivery of an air-defense system would complicate airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities by Israel or the U.S. should the diplomatic track fail. Russian presence has made the plans of Israel to take out the nuclear facilities in Iran even more difficult, and at this writing, it is becoming more of a technological feat to disguise their intentions and to hide their plans of attack.

 

All who have been watching the signs of the times, have wondered what could be the meaning of the Blood Moons that have already had four pass in the last few years and the coming eclipse scheduled for July on the 21st of the year 2018.

 

If Israel does attack even with Russia in the region what will be the result of such an attack? I believe you will see condemnation from the world against Israel and further withdrawing support from the tiny Jewish state. I see UN sanctions coming upon Israel and Israel's enemies smelling blood and vulnerability and mounting an ill-conceived attack to fulfill the Psalm 83 prophecy. Can you see how quickly we are moving in Bible prophecy that leads up to Ezekiel 38-39? One will lead directly to the next. How long between the two? I don't believe it will be very long, but I believe long enough for Israel to finally feel safe.

 

10 "Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:

11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land."(Ezekiel 38:10-12)

 

Note that the economy of the aforementioned countries of Turkey, Iran and Russia are near collapse and the riches found in this tiny state of Israel with its technological advancements, oil, gas, and an economy that is booming would make a very big "Hook" in the jaw of those who eye to take what does not belong to them, to give a lift to their economies.

 

3 "And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:"(Ezekiel 38:3-4)

 

WHAT COULD BE COMING?

 

Please, this is only my wondering about what could be coming, based on scripture. I am no prophet, but God is moving this along rather quickly from the perspective of any bible believing Christian, that is awake and watching. The events are coming fast and furious as we move along in these last few years and I fully expect will move at "warp speed" as the coming of our Lord draws even closer. All could be done within a few short years. Peace, but a false peace based on guarantees of "one man" who makes a deal that Israel will embrace and sign a contract with the devil and death. I believe this coming war will unmask the coming "Lawless one" who will attempt to prevent another Gog-Magog attack and give Israel a false sense of peace for a short period of time. Israel will accept this man as their "political" Messiah, as Jesus spoke of in the Gospel of John :

 

" I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive." (John 5:43)

 

Israel has never in the past believed they needed a "spiritual Messiah" as they had the law of Moses and their temple, so they rejected Jesus because He did not come to deliver them from Roman domination. Now the same has come to pass, they have a "political Messiah" coming to sign a treaty with them to give them what they desire, "Peace and Safety" and it will be finally revealed when the man stands in the temple claiming to be a god, that they will know they have made a pact with the devil. The coming next few years could very well be a dramatic year for Bible Prophecy. Let's makes some possible scenarios and assumptions that very well could develop.

 

1.     Israel attacks Iranian nuclear facilities and putting the country years back in their quest for the bomb by destroying essential "choke points" of their program.

2.     Iran, if not decimated, will quickly instruct their proxies of Hezbollah, Syria, and Gaza to mount an attack against Israel from the west, north and east.

3.     If this is the fulfillment of Psalm 83, then I see Jordan, Egypt and possibly Saudi Arabia, even though they have partnered with Israel in the Yemen war, they still hate Israel.

4.     Israel, with Almighty God's help will destroy all attackers who come against her, thus neutering the threat from its neighbors and blunting the effect from their most feared nemesis, Iran. This perceived calm will last for a very short time.

5.     Israel will effectively own all gas and oil of the Middle East. They will be the direct competitor of the Russian Bear, who with their dictator found in Vladimir Putin, could be the leader spoken of in the Gog-Magog coalition that comes against Israel found in Ezekiel 38-39 as he desires what is not his...gas and oil.

6.     How long after this devastating defeat of this coalition by Almighty God Himself, destroying 85% of this invading army, will a man arise and propose a 7 year peace plan to allow Israel to live in "peace and security"? Thus the rise of the Anti-Christ could be within the next few years or sooner.

 

All the above scenarios (and it is anybodies guess how it will play out) has been believed to be right around the corner for years, but one ingredient was needed to propel this into a imminent possibility, and that is the attack on Iran. We have been watching this for all of the 21st century, which we are in year 18. I believe WW3 is forming right now, and unless Islam is defeated in near total, then this war will continue as Turkey, Iran, and Saudi Arabia jockey for complete control of the region and will only spread further into neighboring countries. The only thing that stands in their way is Israel and the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

 

There is one last element that should make you long for the coming of our Lord, being very close at hand. If this above scenario play out along, or near what I have hypothesized, then when this ruler who proclaims peace and safety for Israel arises out of obscurity, then another prophecy will be fulfilled beforehand.

 

7   "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved."(2nd Thessalonians 2:7-10)

 

As scripture has spoken, iniquity has been at work since the time of Jesus and has been held back by One Person. There are many interpretations of who this restrainer is and what he is restraining. Many deny that it has to do with a removal of the church, before the man of sin can be revealed. But is that true? I don't believe it is that there is anybody but God who is holding back the full sway of lawlessness driven by Satan in his attempt to destroy mankind. So who is this restrainer that 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7 mentions that is holding back sin and lawlessness? What or who that restraining force is, Paul does not say specifically in this letter. I have preached that it is the Holy Spirit for years, but I went to the internet to see what the consensus was. Many have speculated as to the identity of the restrainer, naming the restraining force as 1) human government; 2) gospel preaching; 3) the binding of Satan; 4) the providence of God; 5) the Jewish state; 6) the church; 7) the Holy Spirit; and 8) the ark angel, Michael. Whatever now restrains the Antichrist of vv. 3, 4, 8-10 from being revealed in the fullness of his apostasy and evil must be more than human or even angelic power.

 

The power that holds back Satan from bringing the final apostasy and unveiling of his Satan-possessed false Christ (the Antichrist) must be supernatural. It must be God's power in operation that holds back Satan, so that the "man of sin," "the son of destruction" (v. 3) won't be able to come until God permits it by removing the restraining power. The reason for the restraint was so that the Antichrist would be revealed at God's appointed time and no sooner, just as was Christ (Gal. 4:4), because God controls Satan.

 

The Holy Spirit of God is the only Person with sufficient (supernatural) power to do this restraining. How does He do it? Through Christians, He works in society to hold back the swelling tide of lawless living. At some point, though, He will be removed from the earth, allowing sin to have dominion over mankind. This can only happen when the Church-all true believers in Jesus Christ-are removed. This is because the Holy Spirit lives within each believer. When the church leaves the earth, the Holy Spirit will be taken out of the way in the sense that His unique lawlessness-restraining ministry-through God's people- will be removed .

 

The removal of the Restrainer at the time of the removal of the church from planet earth must obviously precede the "day of the Lord." But as soon as individuals again start placing their faith in Christ during the tribulation, the Holy Spirit will again be "present" in the world. His ministry of restraining, though, seems limited to the time before the tribulation.

 

Those who read this message know that the time of the end of days is upon us. Even if they are not a Christian now, they know that the world cannot continue in its downward slide. Something has got to give, and what will give is the removal of the Bride of Christ and the beginning of a period that last 7 years with a one world ruler, known as the Anti-Christ. The signs of this imminent event are screaming at the world. Do you feel it? Have you fear in your heart what is coming upon the earth? If you don't now, you most certainly will. Jesus spoke of such unbridled fear coming upon all who live into what is called the Tribulation.

 

25 "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;

26 men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near."(Luke 21:25-28)

 

What I have spoken of here in this message gives you fair warning of what is coming upon the earth and sooner than what you may even think or imagine. I do not consider myself a "watchman on the wall" of the caliber that Ezekiel was, but God has impressed me to warn you in the words of Ezekiel chapter 33:

 

2 "Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them: "When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman,

3 when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people,

4 then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head.

5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life.

6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman"s hand."(Ezekiel 33:2-6)

 

I have blown the trumpet of alarm more times than I can imagine. Now some may continue to scoff and mock as the Apostle Peter spoke of in 2nd Peter chapter 3:

 

3 "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men."(2nd Peter 3:3-7)

 

So my question to you is, where will you be found? Will you be those who scoff and mock and say it's not as bad as it seems. "Things will get better", you say. With all the evidence around you, are you so secure in those statements? If Jesus would come tonight, and He could, will you be found in Him, or found blind and naked in your unrighteous condition? Or will you fall on your knees, or say in your heart. "Lord, save me."

 

3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3:16-18)

 

8 "But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:8-13)

Though there is no Temple in Jerusalem, in very many ways, Jewish sources describe the Temple Mount as the viaduct for blessings, spiritual and material, to flow into the world. Several experts weigh in on this source of divine bounty.

 

Mordechai Persoff, head of the Mikdash Educational Center, noted that the blessing of sustenance came to the world via the Temple and the Temple Mount. Persoff cited a Midrash (homiletic teaching) that described the even hashtiya (the large stone that lay underneath the Holy of Holies in the Temple) as the seed from which all of creation grew.

 

"Every person can look to the Temple Mount and the Holy of Holies as their true origin," Persoff said to Breaking Israel News. "In all the world, this is every individual's personal connection to creation."

 

Persoff cited another Midrash in which the even hashtiya is referred to as a tabor (belly button or umbilical cord).

 

"Just as the sustenance flows from the mother to the child via the tabor, spiritual and physical sustenance flow into the world via the Temple Mount," Persoff said. "It is as if every person had a spiritual umbilical cord to God, all of them passing through that one point on the Temple Mount."

 

Yet another Midrash refers to the Temple Mount as the lev (heart).

 

"The thing about the heart is that it is hidden," Persoff said. "A person can look perfectly healthy but if there is a problem with his heart, if he has not paid attention to his heart, he will die. The same is true for the world. Everything can look fine with all the material concerns taken care of but if we ignore our heart, the Temple Mount, we are in grave danger."

 

Persoff described different levels in which God provides our material needs.

 

"In Egypt, we ate from the sweat of our brow and there was no blessing in our everyday sustenance," Persoff said. "It was only sustenance with no clear level of blessing. Before we came into the land of Israel, the blessing was all around us and there was no work. We ate the manna in the desert. It was a period of healing in which we were like a sick person in a hospital. But after we came into the Holy Land, there became a link between sustenance and holiness. We were partners. Our work, the land, was a meeting of material and spiritual, work and blessing."

 

Persoff explained that the three pilgrimage feasts corresponded to three blessings that come down to the world via the Temple. On Passover, the harvest is blessed. On Sukkot, the blessing of rain is established. The bikurim (first-fruits) were first brought to the Temple on the holiday of Shavuot, which is when the fruit was blessed.

 

"There is a correspondence between the Temple, the service, and the agriculture. We learn that we always need to look up to Hashem, every day all day. It is a greater blessing than the manna which came directly from heaven. The blessing that came through our hands, from the land that Hashem (God, literally 'the name') promised us, was even greater. And this came through focusing on the Temple."

 

Rabbi Yehuda Kroizer, the Chief Rabbi of Mitzpe Yericho, has a deep spiritual connection to the Temple Mount, visiting the site regularly for more than a decade. He also noted the Jewish tradition of blessings being integrally connected to the Temple Mount.

 

"The Talmud states explicitly that bounty comes into the world via the Temple and the Temple Mount," Rabbi Kroizer told Breaking Israel News. "The rains, the fruit, the grains, everything changed with the destruction of the Temple. As much as we think we understand nature, agriculture was on a totally different level in Temple times and will return to that when the Temple is rebuilt."

 

Rabbi Kroizer also noted a different blessing, perhaps no less important, that originates from the Temple.

 

"But the Talmud also states that since the Temple was destroyed, Jews are not permitted to be entirely happy," the rabbi said, citing Psalms as the source for this section of Talmud.

 

Our mouths shall be filled with laughter, our tongues, with songs of joy. Then shall they say among the nations, "Hashem has done great things for them!" Psalms 126:2

 

"The Temple was the source of pure joy," Rabbi Kroizer said. "If a person dedicates themselves to Geula (redemption), to Hashem and his special place in the world, the source of blessing and joy, it is clear that he will see some blessing."

 

Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, the founder of the Temple Institute, takes a more pragmatic approach.

 

"Jews have mitzvot (Torah commandments) to perform," Rabbi Ariel said to Breaking Israel News. "That is how we connect ourselves to God. Our relationship with it is not theoretical or in the spiritual. The important thing to remember is that the Temple was and will be a real place with mitzvot attached to it. The sacrifices were the avodah (service, or work). Prayer is called avoda sh'ba'lev (service that is in the heart). That is why no matter where we are in the world, we face toward the Temple Mount when we pray."

The wheels on the bus go 'round and 'round... or so the song goes. Please allow me to tell you a somewhat silly story with a (hopefully) more significant ending.

 

As a child (as many of us did back in that era), my two sisters and I were limited by the selection of toys on the market and/or the availability to the region unless our parents ordered from the mail order Sears + Roebuck or Montgomery Ward catalogs. Apparently, our parents didn't; and we received (with thankfulness) gifts that were of the common variety.

 

Of that bygone era, Fisher-Price produced a school bus toy with wooden figurines with various facial expressions. Each 'seat' was a carved round space for the characters to 'sit' in. Whether or not these wooden 'students' managed to stay in their seats and/or survived a wreck was contingent upon which of the three of us sisters was 'driving' the bus.

 

Decades later, when my own children were young, we bought them the Fisher-Price school bus set also. But the quality of the items had declined. Gone were the finely honed, smooth wooden characters. Instead plastic characters were the modern version to replace the wooden ones of old. Rather disappointing (even more so today, or so I hear).

 

If any of you remember the wooden toys, you'll remember that one such character had a scowl painted on his face, and his baseball cap affixed sideways. It was clear he was meant to represent the rebellious and grumpy troublemaker on the bus.

 

Another figure in the set (a girl figure with ponytails) must have been overly played with in our family. If you turned her head back and forth (as you could with the older wooden types), you'd hear a shrill shriek of wood against wood, which could be made to either sound like she was whistling or screaming. Maybe a tiny piece of dirt had gotten in between the parts? I'm not sure the reason why. But it seemed fitting that this girl would represent (depending on mood) either the happy whistling girl or the loud-mouthed complainer shrieking shrilly on the bus. (Yes, children used their imaginations back then.)

 

Yet another figure had been painted with a facial expression that seemed to be in perpetual amazement. An 'O' of surprise represented his mouth, and eyebrows painted on just a bit too high above where they should be gave the perception of continuously astonished wonderment.

 

While there may have been other facial expressions, most of the other figures wore the same typical mindless smiles that one would expect a children's toy set would contain.

 

Many years later, my oldest sister and I both took a part-time job (to supplement our full-time jobs) in a retail establishment which also served food during the festival season. Every year in this region, a local festival in the late summer drew in many people from across the nation. While some folks who visited had ties to the area, others didn't. Back then, there was a motel in town, and some of these folks came in on buses.

 

My sister and I (and most of our co-workers) called these out-of-towners (privately, of course) "the bus people," whether they came in on a bus or not. I don't suppose the co-workers even understood the private joke between my sister and me. But they did understand there was a difference in attitude among the tourists as compared to the locals.

 

We wondered what it was about those tourist types that caused them to act as though every slight imperfection was a personal affront to them. Did they act that way at home? Or had they saved it up for us?

 

Some of the typical complaints were:

 

"You call that GRAVY? Down south is where REAL gravy is made, not this slop. You Yankees can't do anything right!"

 

"I said I wanted Heinz ketchup, not this... whatever this excuse for ketchup is!"

 

"This food is too spicy, not spicy enough, too cold, too hot, too sweet, not sweet enough," etc. Along with the complaints, invariably the claim was added that, wherever these folks resided, only they knew the "right way" to make any given certain dish.

 

Nine times out of ten, those who complained about the food and also wanted a refund were those who asked for such (conveniently) only after eating 90% or more of it! Most often these same folks made huge messes and left a very small tip or never left a tip at all. (I'm sure those who waitress for a living can relate.)

 

If the weather wasn't a perfect 75 degrees with sunshine, these folks were sure it was our fault it rained, was too warm, too cold, or too windy. But it wasn't just us they blamed. We actually heard a couple claim they were going to demand a refund from the bus charter agency because of the inclement weather!

 

Many of their children had apparently had the misfortune of riding on the festival rides, and also as unfortunate (for us) was that they were much every bit the complainers as their parents were. "That ride was too scary, not fast enough, too fast, not high enough, too high, the line too long," etc. And of course they lamented that they had better ride choices wherever it is they came from.

 

I've left out the numerous expletives that perpetually sprinkled their impossible demands and berating rants. But it's clear there was a spirit behind the evil (Eph. 2:2-3, 6:12; 1 Cor. 6:9-12, et al).

 

Some folks (obviously not those who rode the buses) demanded that they bring their pets inside the restaurant area of the store even though we explained to them that only service animals for disabled folks were permitted by law, and not any others - even though we also explained to them that the state board of health would shut us down if we let them bring their pets in. None of this seemed to matter to these proud pooch lovers as their pet was much more 'special' than anyone else's. In fact, the rules shouldn't even apply to them, as they were much more 'special' than us common folks also. Or so they seemed to believe.

 

One of those animal-loving folks brought his pet python in the doors and screamed obscenities when the manager told him that both he and his pet snake had to go.

 

So too went the 'special privilege' parking demands. Some wanted to park in handicap spots without handicap permits. "But you don't understand; Tiffany is so tired from walking!" Once again we'd have to explain to them that the law (which is standard across the US, no matter what 'special' region they came from) clearly states they must have either handicap plates or handicap parking permits to park in a handicap zone.

 

More than a few times, some of these folks left their 'special' vehicles there anyway, and found out that our 'special' policemen weren't impressed with their 'special' excuses, and promptly wrote them a ticket. I'm pretty sure that, if they argued with these overworked policemen during festival season, they would soon find that the cost of the ticket would increase to an even higher 'special' rate!

 

And if there happened to be a full moon that week, they were then known as the "full-moon bus people." Anyone who works with the public will know exactly what I mean.

 

When told that we'd be closed on Sundays (as many places were back then due to many of us going to church), those same touristy 'bus people' were shocked, literally shocked that such a quaint segment of society still existed. They even looked upon us with pitying faces as if mortified that we weren't as embarrassed by our church-going as they were for us. Church? How could anyone go to church? How could that possibly take precedence over what the world had to offer? (Or so their shocked faces conveyed.)

 

I don't know if folks really did act that way in their home cities and states also, or if they just let loose here since they didn't know anyone in the area. But regardless, it seemed that we all heaved a collective sigh of relief once "bus people week" was over. I was also glad that job was only part-time and that festival season only occurred once a year. My sister, co-workers, and I would sit down after cleaning up the huge messes left behind on the last day; we were young adults then and would be downright giddy that 'bus week' was over! At least back then.

 

I also don't know if these trends struck other regions of the US before they arrived at our somewhat remote neck of the woods or not. But I do know it wasn't much long afterwards when those same characteristics became prevalent amongst local folks here. And not just during festival week, but all year long. Every day of the year. Every hour of the day.

 

Gone were many of the friendly and courteous folks who held doors for each other, their elders, and especially for the disabled. To be fair, there are still a few remaining today. But they are rarer each passing year. Even each passing month.

 

Now there are so many rude and mean-spirited folks who are so 'special' that they don't think twice about parking in the handicap zones illegally. When trying to wrangle the wheelchair up a hill on the snowy sidewalks to get into the doctor's office, invariably it will be a young healthy person who proclaims: "Oh hey, I was only using it for a minute!" (with a sneer on his or her face). That is if they even bother to respond or note your existence on the planet at all. Most won't. At least not today.

 

There are so many people today who think they are entitled to things they aren't entitled to. They really do think they are so 'special' that the rules don't apply to them. And the biggest change in society today is the hatred of laws. The word 'illegal' seems to be their banner. They thumb their noses at every law in society. And it's not just here; it's all across the nation. I believe we've been seeing a rapid acceleration of lawlessness in the US, especially over the last 2-3 years.

 

Some of us miss those bygone eras when neighbors were friendly and church was the hub of family activity. But we wouldn't want to live through those years again only to arrive in this era of lawlessness. Witnessing these perilous last days is grievous to us.

 

Believers are yearning for the rapture, looking up with anticipation and great eagerness. Not back (as Lot's wife did). So please don't think I'd ever want to return to those days, even if they were better days. I simply want to show the contrast, especially for younger readers who (sadly) never experienced a time when God's word was in society and school, and was revered - not mocked, ridiculed, and excluded from every public place as it is today. What a huge difference!

 

So it was back then in the 'bus people' era. We got our first taste of the ungodly world permeating our small town only once a year. We were thankful it was only once a year, but it wasn't long before every business was open on Sundays and even Thanksgiving and other holidays that folks typically spent with family and at church events. Even such stores as Walgreens or Rite-aid felt the need to be open during those times (even though the pharmacy was closed and they didn't sell any Thanksgiving items such as turkey or cranberry sauce, etc.). Pure greed and godlessness has overcome society.

 

In fact, most employers today (around the nation, not just locally) would laugh at anyone interviewing for a job who asked to have Sundays off to go to church. They'd be the last person hired and wouldn't be given any exemptions about church-going, on the slim chance that they were hired in the first place. "It's not fair to other employees who have to work the weekends," most would claim. Of course, they'd never dream of closing the doors on Sundays now because there just aren't that many church-goers as compared to godless folks in the US today.

 

For those under the mistaken assumption that Christians are the majority in the US, it's time for a wakeup call. It's simply no longer true.

 

Even within the portion of US citizens who claim to be Christians, many aren't. They don't believe that Jesus is the only way to the Father, even though scripture clearly states He is (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; John 3:15-18; 1 Tim. 2:5 and numerous others). They don't believe that Jesus literally died for our sins, was buried, and rose the third day (1 Cor. 15:1-4). In fact, most of them don't believe scripture whatsoever. They've been taught the lie that scripture is 'all an allegory,' and that truth is supposedly subjective.

 

Sadly, even among those Christians who claim to believe the gospel, many don't spend any time themselves studying God's word. They don't know (and don't care to find out) if their pastor is teaching them false doctrine or not. And we need to be sure, as we were forewarned that false doctrine would be prevalent in these last days (1 Tim. 4:1-2; 2 Tim. 3:5 and 4:3-4; among others).

 

The only way to be sure a believer isn't being taught false doctrine is for that believer to know scripture themselves. They would then be able to immediately recognize unsound and unscriptural doctrine.

 

So too is the prevalence of folks who think they are so 'special' that the rules don't apply to them. Some truly think they are so 'special' that they are also above the law.

 

For the last several years, so many things have gotten exponentially worse. There have been many secular folks opining as to why that is. They still opine today with their worldly 'special' wisdom. But they are grievously wrong about the cause.

 

Bible believers know the answer. It's so very clear. These trends began to take place locally when God was kicked out of society and school. When all discipline was cast to the wind. When children started talking back to both teachers and parents, and were never reprimanded for not just disrespecting others, but even for being violent.

 

When every Biblical principle was removed from public schools, what did they expect? They kicked God to the curb and seemed shocked that the devil strolled right in and took over.

 

It used to be that the worldly folks claimed they merely wanted 'tolerance' for their Marxist and Darwinist theories to be presented in public schools.

 

At first they claimed they only wanted them taught alongside the US Constitution and Biblical creationism as 'alternative theories.' But just as we always suspected, tolerance was not what they had in mind whatsoever. They wanted every Biblical concept removed from society, especially from public schools.

 

Now they teach that the Constitution is supposedly a "living document" which can be changed with the times. The first thing they'd like to do is remove all reverence to our Creator God within our founding documents. The next would be to remove the First and Second Amendments. We're already seeing so much censorship as well as anti-gun propaganda. Both are ratcheting up exponentially since the midterm elections.

 

There is a large portion of our society that has been indoctrinated into the globalist fantasy of Socialism and even Communism for all - never once understanding that, in order for there to be 'free stuff' for all people, it will come at the theft of someone else's hard work and legally gained property and wealth. That doesn't seem to bother them as they have little desire to work to earn their own way, but would rather rely on a nanny state to take care of them.

 

They also don't have a clue that 'free stuff' very quickly runs out once they've raided everything owned by those who worked for it.

 

There's no reasoning with most of these folks. You can point out the historical and current failures of Socialism and Communism to these people, yet they still don't get the picture.

 

Romans 1:18-32 explains why, as does 2 Tim. 3 verses 7 and 13. Most of us are familiar with those scriptures; but if not, please take a moment to read them. You'll be surprised at the stunning accuracy of God's word foretelling and describing today's world.

 

Today they won't tolerate creationism taught in schools whatsoever. Now they demand that no children (including violent teens with criminal records) ever be spanked or even made to sit in a 'time-out.' If the children are given detention, they wear it as a badge of honor. It's no punishment. They aren't even forced to write "I will not strike my teacher or fellow students" a hundred times. Instead, they sit there playing on their phones and tablets just as they would if they weren't sitting in detention. That's no punishment or deterrent.

 

If they are expelled (which seems to be the only recourse still available), then the parents must have a way to either be with them to supervise them, or leave the child on their own to find even more creative ways to get into trouble. Many parents even demand that no one dare raise their voice to these children.

 

It used to be that parents would be upset with their children when they were disorderly or violent in schools. Now it seems that many parents demand that their children be coddled even more so at school than they are at home - with no recourse for violent actions whatsoever. It's never little Timmy's fault, even if he stabbed another child with a pencil. Why? Because little Timmy's parents are so sure he is 'special.'

 

Yet, since most of the teachers are themselves both godless and far-leftist in theology, they can't fathom why the parents and children are treating them that way-even if they are the ones responsible for indoctrinating young minds into the victimhood mentality. Everything is someone else's fault (or so they believe). No one is accountable or responsible for themselves. The teacher is the victim, the child is the victim, and the parent is the victim. Or so they all think. Perpetual victimhood is part and parcel of the leftist mentality today. And it all stems from the desire to portray others as the perpetrator of their own sins. But they can't see that. (Again, Rom. 1:18-32 and 2 Tim. 3:1-7 explain why.)

 

And children's services? As great as they have been in helping children who are truly in peril of violent or sexual abuse, all the same they've gone entirely overboard in usurping the parental rights of good parents. They've been weaponized by the left to be used against good parents.

 

For example, I personally know parents who were threatened by children's services for merely telling their child that they must clean their room before supper! Children's services claimed it was 'withholding food' from children. How ridiculous! No parent had starving their children in mind by simply telling their kids to pick up the toys off the floor before supper.

 

We saw much of this coming with comments from leftist politicians in years past. Hillary Clinton's "it takes a village" statements didn't go unnoticed by those of us who see what's really happening.

 

The left wants complete control over your children. Some leftist-indoctrinated teachers are especially vile to known Christian parents. I'm also aware of different occurrences where such teachers have targeted children of Christian parents by encouraging the kids to report them to CPS if they "feel compelled of their parents to pray before meals."

 

As if praying is now a crime? They won't admit that they think it should be (even though that's exactly where it's headed). But instead they claim it's the "compelling the child to pray" that's supposedly the issue.

 

What next? Scripture tells us what's next (Micah 7:2-6; Mark 13:12; Luke 21:16; et al). But I believe those events will occur during the (soon coming) tribulation. Nevertheless, we don't know how authoritarian governments will become prior to the rapture, should the Lord tarry for even a short time.

 

I'm sure we can think of a thousand more ways leftist-run public schools are attempting to indoctrinate children into every wicked and vile atrocity that goes against God's word - some of which are so evil and loathsome I can't even repeat them here. Every day there's another news article reporting more of the vile filth children are subjected to. They fill children's heads with these gender-bending lies every day. They even want to teach this disgusting filth to preschoolers.

 

Folks, if at all possible, get your children and grandchildren out of public schools. Homeschool them or send them to a good Christian school, if one is available in your area. Yes, it will mean sacrifice on your part. Sacrifice of your time and/or finances also. But our children and grandchildren are worth it!

 

As much as some of us would like to believe that America will be 'great again,' it's not in scripture. I've heard some otherwise sound pastors claim that 2 Chron. 7:14 is for the church, but read the entire chapter. Or at least read that scripture in context! It's talking to and about Israel, not the US.

 

It sure isn't going to happen while our public schools are promoting far-leftist, God-hating and Christ-rejecting propaganda. I hate to say it, but we've lost our public schools altogether to the ungodly.

 

We won't be 'great again' with the blood of 60+ million abortions-and counting-continuing unabated, and with the mockery of God's word pertaining to male and female, marriage, and basic scriptural concepts thrown out the window in this nation (and most other nations as well). We can't expect God to bless this mess when children are being indoctrinated into the devil's lies from a tender age, and when children are being harmed by pedophiles and stolen by human traffickers at unprecedented rates.

 

If anything, God has been far more merciful to the US (and many other nations) than we deserve (as a whole). We believers pray that the rapture is very near - and from all scriptural indications, it looks to be. But in the meanwhile, as we wait, we mustn't bury our heads in the sand and pretend our children will get through public schools unscathed. It's not just the majority of their peers pressuring them into worldly ways. But the majority of teachers and faculty today are also unbelievers with far-leftist ideology.

 

The indoctrination into demonically inspired evil doesn't end with grade school and high school either. Most colleges today (even those who formerly claimed to be Christian colleges) are now propagandizing young adults with even more hardcore globalist and antichrist agendas. Parents pay 5-6 figures a year to send their adult children to college today. And what do they get in return? Many of the majors aren't even useful in today's job market. They are then saddled with debt (or their parents are) for decades; and not only do they have no marketable skills, but they also have a corrupt world view- the antichrist globalist view. Sadly, even many seminaries who are training young men to be pastors have succumbed to teaching the devil's lies. Some very devoted young believers find that they are quickly taught to doubt the veracity of the Bible! These professors (not believers themselves, even if they call themselves 'Christians') think they know more than God's word. They think they are intellectually superior to God themselves! They teach the Oprah Winfrey-type, ecumenicist lie that there are supposedly 'many paths to God.' What evil lies! Also teaching them to doubt God's word altogether. That sneaky serpent sure hasn't changed tactics much since Genesis 3:1, has he? (See also: 2 Pet. 2:1-3, 20-22.)

 

So many folks now believe they are superior, 'special,' and know better than God does. They mock His word and tout human reasoning above scripture. Yet, isn't that what God's word told us to expect? Isn't that same pridefulness the same thing that brought the devil down? The desire to usurp God? How foolish that a created being would ever entertain the thought of usurping the place of the One who created him! The Lord rebuke thee, devil! It's no wonder that unsaved mankind falls into the same trap.

 

The folks my sister and I used to jokingly call 'the bus people' aren't just out-of-town tourists today. This same culture has infiltrated every segment of society now. Just as scripture warned, these characteristics would be prevalent in these perilous last days (2 Tim. 3:1-5).

 

And where is this 'bus' full of Christ-rejecting and God-hating people headed? Down the broad and wide path to destruction.

 

"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it" (Matt. 7:13-14).

 

Several decades ago there was a secular song called "Highway to Hell." How sad that the unsaved world (even today) thinks that hell is a party and that their friends are going to be there laughing it up and having a good time with them in hell? Nothing could be further from the truth. Hell is a joke to them. But it's no laughing matter. The devil has blinded their eyes.

 

"In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them" (2 Cor. 4:4).

 

Are you on that 'bus' spiraling towards the tribulation and towards hell itself? On the "highway to hell"? If so, GET OFF THE BUS! Come to Christ now for salvation. None of us are promised tomorrow on this earth. (James 4:13-15; Psalm 103:14-16; 1 Pet. 1:24-25; Prov. 27:1; Ecc. 2:11-16; Isaiah 40:17, et al.)

 

Jesus has already paid your sin debt when He died for our sins, was buried, and rose the third day (1 Cor. 15:1-4). But this free gift of eternal salvation requires your belief in Jesus' finished work (Rom. 10:9-10; John 3:15-18; Rom. 6:23; Eph. 2:8-9; many others). Not our own works.

 

The unsaved world laughs, scoffs, and mocks not only Jesus but His soon return! (Jude 1:18; 2 Pet. 3:3-4). Ironically, they don't even recognize that they are themselves fulfilling Bible prophecy by doing so!

 

How sad that they will one day stand before their maker and realize that they too could have had eternal salvation, that their sins were already paid for, but that they said "NO!" (John 3:18) and rejected Christ. That decision will haunt them for eternity. What regret and remorse they will have! But it will be too late then. God gave us free will in this lifetime to choose whether to accept Jesus' offer of eternal salvation or not. None of us knows for certain when we will take our last breath on this earth. Once you do, it will be too late to change your mind.

 

For those who've trusted Christ for salvation, we are promised deliverance from the wrath to come (1 Thes. 1:10; Rom. 5:9; 1 Thes. 5:9). God's word even tells us how Jesus will deliver us believers (1 Cor. 15:49-53; 1 Thes. 4:16-18). The rapture!

 

"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ" (Titus 2:13).
