The Folly Of Open Borders - By Sally Law -
The United States of America is a sovereign nation - a Republic democracy with a constitution, bill of rights and citizenship for those either born here or those who have applied for it legally. Something else is required that the mainstream media would like us all to forget. A person who has applied for citizenship here is sworn in with an oath on the day they become a citizen. Let's look together.
"Oath of allegiance to the United States: The applicant must pledge allegiance to the United States, renouncing other national allegiances. The pledge includes an obligation to support the Constitution and to bear arms on behalf of the United States if required."
Wow, support the Constitution! Now there is a long forgotten concept among those who would love nothing more than to ignite the old parchment and throw our sovereign nation under the bus of progressive socialism. If you come here illegally, you make no such oath-no promise.
Members of Congress should re-evaluate if this is the kind of nation they want to represent. Many could not honestly pledge to uphold the Constitution this very day, as their actions and words are just the opposite.
This same group wants to have open borders and a "come on in" open-door policy. I would like to ask these progressives a few questions. These are not hard ones, either.
Do you lock your doors at night? Lock your car when you go inside to shop or to work? Do you leave your wallet, cellphone, credit cards information and electronics out on the sidewalk with a note attached that says help yourself?
Do you kiss your children goodbye in the morning and remind them to get in the car of any stranger who offers? Join their cult? Take their drug offerings?
Hopefully, you don't. But anything you hold dear and value is worth protecting, is it not?
I hope you see the hypocrisy of those who would want open borders. Those who do have no love for our country, values, people, property rights - and most importantly, our children. They say to the violent strangers pressing our gates, "Come on in-take what you want."
There was a very wise king who lived a long time ago. The court was in an uproar on this particular day. Women and babies were involved. The story had spread like wildfire throughout the kingdom. Tears, crying, and accusatory language were heard by this sovereign, wise king. One woman claimed a baby was hers, stolen in the night by the other who had rolled over on top of her baby and suffocated him. She switched the dead baby for the live one while the other mother was sleeping. It was a "she said, she said" case and hard to prove.
The wise king listened carefully before making his decision. "Cut the baby in half by sword," was King Solomon's verbal decision. Each mother would be satisfied.
The evil, lying mother agreed. The righteous and good mother said, "No, give her the child, only spare his life!"
The evidence and heart of the real mother had come to light. She had something to lose...the life of her newborn son. (See 1 Kings 3:16-28 for the full story).
I am watching my nation in an uproar about protecting it from those who are not asking, but demanding to be here-violently. They put women and young children in the front of the mob, exposing their most vulnerable and precious commodities to potential harm. The tear gas was used since verbal commands were not heeded. (The tear gas, by the way, will not harm anyone; it is simply a deterrent.) Border patrol agents were attacked with rocks and bottles being thrown at them. No one was injured, thankfully, at the borders this past weekend.
Is the answer open borders? I say no. It will be the end of our sovereign nation in my opinion. We have many people from a multitude of nations who become citizens every year.
Look at these statistics: The United States welcomed more than 7.4 million naturalized citizens into our nation in the last decade. In fiscal year 2016, 752,800 people were naturalized.
Please don't give away our nation's sovereignty at the borders or anyplace else. If you love America and Americans, you will want to protect it. Let people come here legally who appreciate being citizens and love its freedoms. If we dissolve our borders, that will be it. There will be no going back.
The progressives love the thought of open borders and massive immigration, riding on the backs of human misery. More people homeless living on the streets, more crime and drugs, gangs...you name it. By all means, let them vote for more progressives, although here illegally! The list of our national woes will compound with each passing day. The hard-working will be taxed until there is no more to tax. We are already in over our heads. The land I love and value, my family's home since the 1600's, will take on socialism and then...communism. Twin evils, and the enemy of America.
Secure our sovereignty at our borders! Guard what is loved and esteemed. Our ancestors fought and died for our sovereignty and constitutional freedoms.
Don't give these valuables away; pass them on intact to your children. It's what our forefathers and framers of the Constitution intended.

If Americans continue to allow states with Democratic majorities in their statehouses to systematically pass laws legalizing voter fraud, the American experiment of a Constitutional Republic will be handed over to revolutionary communists and socialists without a shot fired. California, for example, passed a law in 2016 that allowed third parties to collect ballots and deliver them to polling stations without the voters themselves ever showing up to vote. Experts are pointing to this law as evidence why Republicans who won on election day were defeated several days later after ballots postmarked by the election date arrived after election. California's voter harvesting law caused the flipping of several Congressional seats.
Government Accountability Institute research director Eric Eggers told Breitbart News that what was once considered voter fraud in California, for example, is now legal. When people apply for drivers licenses, they are automatically registered to vote, despite whether they are legal citizens. Eggers said, "the political campaigns now have free license to go find you, and essentially even if they don't find you, just turn in a ballot in your name." Brietbart News Senior Editor Joel Pollak concluded that several California congressional seats were stolen. He said, "The practice explains several mysteries about the 2018 election, such as: why mail-in ballots caused massive shifts toward Democrats in races Republicans thought they won on Election Night; why Republicans won the turnout battle in the primary, but lost it in the general election..."
As a veteran of political consulting for 16 years, I experienced vote tampering at Congressional-level and above campaigns. Chicago, for example, is notorious for dead people voting. This Voter Harvesting law in California only legalizes what has been done for decades. Without having to show identification, and nowadays proof of citizenship, there is open season for voter fraud. Campaigns and political party machines can keep track of who has voted during election day by checking the voter rolls. If someone doesn't vote, they can send someone in the place of the registered voter to cast a vote. With voter harvesting, campaign operatives can present ballots days later when they know the initial outcome of the election. The dead, illegal aliens, or others who didn't vote can then vote.
Many Christians do not understand why this is important. Communist rule, which is what can happen when votes are harvested or otherwise tampered with, is dictatorship beyond any American's imagination. It is the replacement of God with government. Now that may not affect your private beliefs, but it will affect your freedom of speech and the freedom to worship. In this, it also impacts your ability to conduct the commandment of Christ in Mark 16:15, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." The Communist Manifesto calls for abolishing all religion and all morals. Ever wonder how communist countries and dictatorships have elections and the dictators stay in power? Look at California. That's how.

According to an analysis of 2014 Census Bureau data, the American taxpayer is footing the bill for non-citizens to live in the US. The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), an independent, non-partisan, non-profit, research organization, reports 63% of households headed by a non-citizen used at least one welfare program in 2014, compared to 35% of native-headed households. CIS also found in the Census data that compared to native households, non-citizen households have much higher use of food programs (45% vs 21% respectively) and Medicaid (50% vs 23% respectively). Some 31% of non-citizen headed households receive cash welfare.
CIS reports, "While most new legal immigrants (green card holders) are barred from most welfare programs, as are illegal immigrants and temporary visitors, these provisions have only a modest impact on non-citizen household use rates because: 1) most legal immigrants have been in the country long enough to qualify; 2) the bar does not apply to all programs, nor does it always apply to non-citizen children; 3) some states provide welfare to new immigrants on their own; and, most importantly, 4) non-citizens (including illegal immigrants) can receive benefits on behalf of their U.S.-born children who are awarded U.S. citizenship and full welfare eligibility at birth." CIS says some 50% of households headed by naturalized immigrants (US citizens) are on welfare.
The Census report indicates there are 4.68 million non-citizen households receiving welfare. These statistics may well be much lower than actual non-citizen use of welfare. During the previous Administration, steps were taken to make it more difficult to identify illegal immigrants' use of welfare programs. CIS reports: "However, we do know that about half of non-citizens in Census Bureau data are illegal immigrants, which we would expect to make welfare use for non-citizens in general low, as those in the country without authorization are barred from almost all federal welfare programs...this report shows that welfare use by households headed by illegal immigrants must be significant for the overall rate of welfare use among non-citizens to look as it does in this report."
The Bible is very clear about how to handle immigrants. Exodus 22:21 says, "You shall neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him." In context, Exodus 12:49 says, "One law shall be to him that is home-born, and unto the foreigner who sojourns among you." These themes are repeated in Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. One law for all. If they are here illegally, they have broken the law as their first act. It is illegal for illegals to receive welfare, but millions are on welfare. The same holds true for voting. We have no recourse but to pay our taxes and non-citizens are receiving both the benefits of citizenship and those of wealth redistribution (socialism). Those who oppose this lawlessness, are labeled racists and xenophobes. Can you discern the agenda?
MIGRANT CARAVAN UPDATE
The problems being created by the Honduran migrant caravan have already gotten quite out of hand. For example, a large number of people who are part of the group are known criminals.
Now, it�s being reported that a large number of migrants, perhaps as high as one-third of the people in the group, are carrying various nasty illnesses. Some have tuberculosis while others have chicken pox or respiratory infections. Some even have HIV. Some of the people who are struggling with health problems are being treated for those.
�There are three confirmed cases of tuberculosis, four cases of HIV/AIDS and four separate cases of chickenpox,� a Tijuana Health Department spokesperson told Fox News. �At least 101 migrants have lice and multiple instances of skin infections. There�s also a threat of Hepatitis outbreak due to unsanitary conditions.�
Many migrants, likely several thousand, are at the Benito Juarez Sports Complex, which is not far from the San Ysidro U.S.-Mexico Port of Entry. However, the place is extremely overcrowded, as it actually only has enough space for 1,000 people. That includes only 35 portable bathroom facilities.
How the migrants� health problems are going to addressed is uncertain. Earlier this week, Juan Manuel Gastelum, Tijuana�s mayor, said his city is unable to come up with the resources to help the migrants who were already there.
�We won�t compromise the resources of the residents of Tijuana. We won�t raise taxes tomorrow to pay for today�s problem,� he said.
Gastelum also said that his city is spending a large amount, $30,000 per day, on expenses related to the migrants being in his city.
The risks of thousands of people pouring into the United States with all the illnesses mentioned are pretty obvious. Now, we have a potential health crisis looming on the horizon in addition to a sharp uptick in criminal activity. This is beyond unacceptable.
A total of at least 6,000 migrants have reached Tijuana, which is not far south of the U.S. border around the area of San Diego, California. Apparently, even more migrants are on the way � presumably carrying similar diseases or potential illnesses.
Of course, President Donald Trump has been very vocal about the issue of immigration ever since he campaigned for office.
�You�re going to find MS-13, you�re going to find Middle Eastern, you�re going to find everything,� he said.
Everyone should keep a close eye on this potentially dangerous situation until it is resolved.
