TRUMP WATCH: 2.16.19 - Trump Deal Of The Century Coming After Israel Elections -

Trump Deal Of The Century Coming After Israel Elections - By Jackson Richman -

The United States is expected to recognize a Palestinian state with its capital in eastern Jerusalem as part of its highly anticipated peace plan to solve the 70-year-long Israeli-Palestinian conflict, an informed source hearing from top Trump administration officials told JNS.

The so-called "deal of the century," which is expected to be released after Israel's elections on April 9, will include U.S. recognition of Palestine with contingencies, according to the source, who was not provided the specifics behind the conditions.

The capital of the Palestinian state will consist of remote parts of eastern Jerusalem, said the source. The Palestinians have claimed that sector of the city as the capital of a future state, a position supported by most countries. But Israel considers the entire city, including its eastern part, to be the Jewish state's undivided capital.

The Trump administration officially recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital in December 2017, in addition to relocating the U.S. embassy there from Tel Aviv the following May. However, the move by Trump did not recognize any boundaries of Jerusalem, which the president said would be resolved through negotiations. It also maintained the status quo for the holy sites in the city.

Additionally, the peace plan includes official U.S. recognition of large Israeli towns in Judea and Samaria, according to the source, who did not know which ones.

The rumored plan has been finalized, and U.S. President Trump "has been briefed on its contents," reported Fox News on Sunday. "It is between 175 and 200 pages, and fewer than five people have access to the complete document," added the news network.

"The plan is done ... [the president] is happy with the parameters of the deal," a senior administration official told the outlet.

'A closely guarded secret'

The aforementioned plan mirrors what has been previously speculated.

Barak Ravid of Israel's Channel 13 reported last month, citing a U.S. source, that the proposal will include the formation of a Palestinian state in around 90 percent of the West Bank with part of eastern Jerusalem as its capital, while western Jerusalem would be Israel's capital.

The United States would also call for neighborhoods outside Judea and Samaria not to be extended and that towns deemed illegal by Israeli law shall be evacuated, according to Ravid's source.

That report also said that its source claimed that the Palestinian state would be constructed on land more than twice the size of Areas A and B, which are currently controlled by the Palestinian Authority.

Additionally, the Channel 13 report said that the Western Wall, the Temple Mount and the Mount of Olives would remain under Israeli control, but with administrative cooperation with the Palestinians.

U.S. special envoy Jason Greenblatt refuted that report: "While I respect @BarakRavid, his report on Israel's Ch. 13 is not accurate. Speculation about the content of the plan is not helpful. Very few people on the planet know what is in it ... for now ... ," he tweeted.

"Over the coming period, unnamed sources will peddle narratives to the media & others based on motivations that are far from pure. Peddling false, distorted or biased stories to the media is irresponsible & harmful to the process. Israelis & Palestinians deserve better ... " he added. "I highly recommend that people listen only to official statements directly from [the president], [U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman], [White House senior adviser] Jared Kushner or me about the plan."

In a few weeks, Kushner will reportedly travel throughout the Middle East to promote the plan.

"On his trip to the Middle East, Kushner is expected to discuss with Arab officials the economic parts of the peace plan, which will entail huge investment in the Palestinian economy--mainly in Gaza," reported Axios. "U.S. officials say Kushner will ask the Gulf states to contribute to the economic plan, but that he is not planning to discuss details from the political components of the plan during his tour of the region."

A U.S. State Department official told JNS, "The administration continues to place a high priority on achieving a lasting and comprehensive peace that offers a brighter future to both Israel and the Palestinians. We intend to release the president's vision when the administration concludes that we have maximized its potential for acceptance, execution and implementation."

The White House did not respond to a request for comment.

Nonetheless, it is far from certain the Palestinians will accept any peace plan, considering steps the Trump administration has taken to put them "in a weaker position heading into the final phases of this process," Jonathan Schanzer, senior vice president of research at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told JNS.

"The Trump peace plan remains a closely guarded secret," he said. "The op-sec has been remarkable and has prevented bursts of outrage from extremists on either side. For this, Jason Greenblatt and Jared Kushner deserve credit."

"One thing we do know about the plan: The initial steps have infuriated the Palestinian leadership," continued Schanzer. "The move of the embassy to Jerusalem, the defunding of UNRWA, the closing of the PLO office in Washington and the legislation to cut funding to the Palestinians in response to terror finance--all of these moves have put the Palestinians in a weaker position heading into the final phases of this process."

Finally, he noted, "whatever the Palestinians are offered now will likely be significantly less than what they have been offered in the past. But they will also likely be offered more in terms of economic inducements. This economic plan will give them a chance to build something to benefit their people in the long term. It is unclear, however, whether the Palestinians leadership will accept the offer without political and symbolic concessions on as well."

Who is going to pay? - Bill Wilson -

Many of you may not be aware that the national debt is setting records by the second. In the time it takes to write this sentence, the national debt has risen some $200,000. It stands a little over $22 trillion--$66,998 per citizen and $179,805 per taxpayer. The US workforce is 156.8 million, but there are 94.9 million not in the workforce. There are 158.3 million people receiving some form of government benefits, including 37 million on food stamps. In other words, national debt is nearly $180,000 per taxpayer (someone who is generating income, ie. working) and there are over 10 million more people receiving government benefits than are working. We have become a socialist state in dire financial condition.

These figures are found on the US National Debt Clock as provided by various government agencies. We are in great trouble as a nation. Even though the government has mandated that everyone must buy insurance, there are still 27.5 million people without insurance. The debt, according to the US Department of Treasury, jumped more than $30 billion in just the last month. I remember in the 1980s, the news media was busting on the Reagan Administration for adding $1.86 trillion to the national debt, raising the defense budget by 35% which brought a huge peace dividend when the cold war ended. Hardly a word was reported with the immediate past "president" raising the debt by nearly $8.6 trillion.

Judd Gregg and Edward Rendell, co-chairmen of the nonpartisan Campaign to Fix the Debt, a project of the nonpartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, issued a statement saying the debt eclipsing $22 trillion "is another sad reminder of the inexcusable tab our nation's leaders continue to run up and will leave for the next generation. With deficits rising and gross debt scheduled to jump by more than $1 trillion annually, Congress must take action to put the country on a more sustainable path. The fiscal recklessness over the past years has been shocking, with few willing to step up with a real plan. We need responsible leadership to fix the debt, not a worsening of partisanship."

There is an old saying, "If you dance all night, you have to pay the fiddler in the morning." Trouble is, this debt dance by these cunning, incompetent elected officials is costing Americans so much that no one can afford even their part of the fiddler's fee. At $22 trillion, this national debt could cause a huge economic collapse. It is increasingly difficult to live by the Biblical standard found in Romans 13:7,8, "Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor. Owe no man any thing, but to love one another." From debt to taxes to customs to tribute--who is going to pay? I've also been told, "Love don't pay the bills." Leadership matters. Accountability is key. We need to demand better.

The perils of immoral leadership - Bill Wilson -

Leadership is important. Immoral leadership reaps bad things. Psalm 29:2 says, "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked bear rule, the poeple mourn." There can be little rejoicing when the people have chosen men and women to represent them in Congress and in statehouses to lead this nation, and they stand for killing the preborn even as they are being born. As Psalm 94:20-21 says, "Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frames mischief by a law? They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood." This is a stain on this nation of innocent blood. We must condemn it in the strongest possible terms.

From Virginia to New York to many other states, Democratic Party lawmakers are writing and introducing bills to redefine "personhood," allow the murder of babies in the birth canal at full term, to promote infanticide-all in the name of protecting women's health. Democrats in the US House and Senate are supporting these efforts by blocking Republican bills to protect the preborn. It is all part of a nationwide campaign by the evil and radical NARAL, a pro-abortion organization that pumps millions into the campaigns of state and national Democrats in exchange for their support of abortion. This campaign is ostensibly in anticipation of a Supreme Court that may overturn Roe vs Wade, but we all know this is their ongoing promotion of a death culture.

There are so many wrongs with this. It is against the human race. It is against minorities and people of color. It is against GOD. Yet people, time after time, seek to elect those who are pro-death and support infanticide. Leadership is important. It changes the way nations are viewed and brings peril to the righteous. Whether the righteous want to acknowledge it or not, who we elect and the leaders we choose have a bearing on eternity. Even more so for nations like the United States who have the freedom to choose who their citizens elect. We may not understand exactly the ramifications of our collective voting, but there is a connection .

Christ says in Matthew 31-34, "When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you form the foundation of the world." We know the truth. We need to stand firm on it. For as Christ said in Luke 12:48, "For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required." You see, leadership is important. Immoral leadership brings peril. Righteous leadership is a joy to others. Be a leader for Christ. Influence others. Choose life.

The deceitful web of election meddling - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com

The Departments of Justice and Homeland Security Tuesday issued a joint statement saying the results of their classified joint study on the 2018 midterm election concluded there was no foreign interference on the election and political/campaign infrastructure. The statement said, "Although the specific conclusions within the joint report must remain classified, the Departments have concluded there is no evidence to date that any identified activities of a foreign government or foreign agent had a material impact on the integrity or security of election infrastructure or political/campaign infrastructure used in the 2018 midterm elections for the United States Congress." This means that Russia did not alter the election infrastructure.

The statement also indicated: "Throughout the 2018 midterm election cycle, the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security worked closely with federal, state, local, and private sector partners, including all 50 states and more than 1400 local jurisdictions, to support efforts to secure election infrastructure and limit risk posed by foreign interference. Efforts to safeguard the 2020 elections are already underway." This statement comes in the wake of a February 2018 testimony by Director of National Intelligent Dan Coats before the Senate Intelligence Committee that Russia was poised to use "propaganda, social media, false-flag personas, sympathetic spokespeople and other means of influence to try to exacerbate social and political fissures in the United States."

Despite the Democratic Party's and media's relentless self-generated propaganda that the 2016 Presidential election was somehow rigged by a Donald Trump-Russia conspiracy, the intel agencies (who are also not to be trusted) are certifying that the US election infrastructure was sound. This does not, however, absolve what went into the election infrastructure. Voters are always influenced by what they hear, see and read. Russia used America's limitless freedom of speech to create opportunities to influence and confuse voters, probably no differently than the campaign efforts of the US politicians themselves. Voters cast their votes based on what they surmised on a candidate's positions, likeability or other factors.

The problem with election meddling is the action that occurs inside the voter booth-not the infrastructure. We have documented cases of illegal voting inspired by out-of-date voter rolls, fraudulent registration and other scurrilous actions that suppress voting or fix outcomes. This is where the emphasis should be placed instead of worrying about the Russians, who have been trying to influence US elections for decades. In other words, we are all responsible for how we voted, whether we voted legally, illegally, liberal or conservative or not at all. The entire narrative is a ruse to cover up the dark deeds of the accusers, who have woven an intricate web of deceit. As Christ said in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you."

Again, the media fails - Bill Wilson -

At the risk of offending some who attended public school and to enlighten others, there are three branches of government in the United States-Executive (President), Legislative (Congress), and Judicial (Supreme Court). As a journalism student at The Ohio State University, we were often told of the fourth branch of government. It is an unofficial branch, called the Fourth Estate. One of the first uses of the term is attributed to Edmund Burke, the Irish statesman, who used it in a parliamentary debate in 1787 when he referenced the three estates of parliament then pointed to the press gallery as the fourth estate that was to hold the other three accountable. Today's news media fails this historic responsibility.

True journalism is to report the news from an unbiased vantage. Today's journalism blurs the lines between sensationalism, editorializing, agenda promotion, propaganda, and quite frankly, lastly-the facts and truth of news. One such technique is called "click bait," which uses a headline to get you to look at the story, but then the story says the opposite of the headline. Another is to bring in a bunch of so-called "experts" to analyze and debate the headlines. These are usually people with a biased agenda, but they are positioned to you as news analysts. Another technique is the "stand-up on sight" reporter, who comes across as an eyewitness, but views the event from a biased, agenda-driven lens.

Proof positive is a report by media watchdog Media Research Center that states: "It's been two days since NBC's exclusive reporting that the Senate Intelligence Committee has found no material evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, and as of yet none of the three major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) have given it even a single second of coverage in their evening newscasts. Considering these networks have given the Russia probe a massive 2,202 minutes of airtime, their silence on this major development is deafening...the Russia investigation accounted for nearly 19 percent of all Trump-related reporting between January 21, 2017 and February 10, 2019. However none of those three shows have even mentioned the investigation since NBC's report came out on February 12."

If we do not have media reform as a nation, our freedoms are in jeopardy. Jesus said in John 8:32, "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." He said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes unto the Father but by me." As Christian Americans, we know the truth. We should demand it of our media. How? Quit watching these news channels; don't buy their papers; don't believe anything they report. Find news sources that report the truth, and make sure others are verifying their stories. Don't be dupes by falling for stories that are not true. Practice discernment. As a prophetic people watching for the return of Christ, we must work hard to heed the warning of Christ in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you."
