The big brouhaha over the communist sisterhood "The Squad" has turned into an acerbic moment for the media to showcase its bias and for the so-called "progressives" to take center stage in proving the point that anything said against them will be twisted into racism and bigotry. President Donald Trump tweeted that Democratic Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY), Ilhan Omar (MN), Rashida Tlaib (MI) and Ayanna Pressley (MA) hated the United States and Israel and should leave the country if they are not happy here. Trump also said they could go back where they came from, although the media points out that only one is from a country other than the US. Trump picked a fight with the Marxists.
Trump said, "These are people that hate our country, They hate it, I think, with a passion. Now it's possible I'm wrong. The voter will decide. But when I hear the way they talk about our country - when I hear the anti-Semitic language they use, when I hear the hatred they have for Israel - and the love they have for enemies like al Qaeda - then you know what? I will tell you that I do not believe this is good for the Democrat Party."Trump did not refer to or demean these congresswomen's gender or race in his tweets. He most certainly could have used different words, and have checked his facts about their countries of origin, but at the end of the day, his point was that these Congresswomen did not love America.
Notwithstanding, these congresswomen held a news conference. They did not deny that they hated America and Israel, but they labeled Trump a "blatant racist." And the news media is backing them. This underscores the Marxist doctrine of twisting words, ignoring the charges, and accusing others to advance the agenda. Because all four of these US Representatives are women of color, and Trump called them out on their remarks against America and Israel-which have been many-they characterize him as a racist. If you disagree with someone on what they say or do or believe, you risk being labeled. This is the lowest common denominator of modern politics. It's a textbook page from Marxist and Fascist propaganda.
NBC reports that Omar said in the news conference, "This is the agenda of white nationalists, whether it is happening in chat rooms or happening in national TV. And now it's reached the White House garden." So every time Trump opens his mouth about the hateful remarks of Omar regarding Israel, it is the white nationalist agenda? Isn't what she said in of itself a bigoted remark? This is so ridiculous that there is no opportunity for civil debate on how to solve the nation's problems. There is no safe place for respectful dialogue. Its scorched earth lunacy. As is written in Isaiah 5:20, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"

It's amazing how the news media has left out an entire pattern of behavior surrounding the sexual harassment and assault of women. Blasted across the news these days is the Jeffrey Epstein case. Epstein, a friend of Bill Clinton and a large donor to members of the Democratic Party, is a convicted sex offender. He was known to have orgies with young girls on his plane. Women have come forward now with accounts of being sex trafficked by Epstein when they were as young as 14 years old. Over the past year there have been scores, if not hundreds, of women coming forward with their stories about being sexually assaulted-revealing a most disturbing pattern in the entertainment business and poltics.
Bill Crosby, Harvey Weinstein, and several other men-had reputations of such acts, but rarely did anyone come forward for fear of losing their careers. The list of Hollywood democrats who sexually assaulted or harassed women was long and famous. There were politicians, too. What about Hillary Clinton's friend Anthony Weiner? Or even more so, Clinton and her husband's association with Epstein. Fox News reported in May 2016 that former President Bill Clinton took 26 trips with Epstein aboard his "Lolita Express" aircraft. Fox News reported that Epstein "spent 13 months in prison and home arrest for "solicitation and procurement of minors for prostitution."
Epstein allegedly had a team of traffickers who procured girls as young as 12 to service his friends on "Orgy Island," an estate on Epstein's 72-acre island, called Little St. James, in the U.S. Virgin Islands." And this is a story that appeared during the last election cycle. It was documented with flight ledgers and court accounts. But the rest of the mainstream media downplayed it to protect his wife's presidential candidacy. A Democrat consultant once told several of us about the Clinton's sexual exploits during a stay in Columbus, Ohio when Jimmy Carter was running for President. The media knew about it then, too, but did nothing. There is a public list of over 18 women claiming sexual assault, sexual harassment, sexual affairs, and rape against Bill Clinton.
There likely are other high-level politicians, businessmen and actors who have been or are involved with Epstein and are laying low right now. The number of people in politics, media and business who have ties to sex trafficking is unknown. And given the media's reluctance to truly investigate and report it, the public may never know. Human trafficking and sex trafficking are among the darkest of evils. As is written in Jeremiah 17:9, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" We are getting a glimpse of this evil with the Epstein case, but my hunch is that if ever the truth is revealed of who is involved with human and sex trafficking, it would shock the world.
Racism vs Socialism - Bill Wilson -
This is the account of Associated Press summing up the past few days of political demagoguery: "In the process, they have created a fraught political frame: "racists" vs. "socialists." Trump's aggressive condemnation of women of color in Congress has allowed House Democrats to mend, for now, their own political divisions as they put the president on record with a resolution condemning his words as racist. But by pushing the House majority into the arms of the squad of liberal freshman women, Trump also adds to his narrative that Democrats have a "socialist" agenda, a story line he started to bring into focus during his State of the Union address." Trouble is, this narrative is seeded in a tremendously flawed assumption.
That assumption is that if you disagree with a person of color, you are a racist. This is totally false. According to AP, and quite frankly the mainstream media, President Trump aggressively condemned women of color in Congress. This is not true because it is a blanket statement. Trump did not condemn women of color in Congress. To say so is to prove positive the socialist agenda which, in part, is to label anyone who disagrees with their nonsense as a racist, bigot, homophobe, bully, Islamophobe, misogynist, white supremism or whatever other derogatory label they can conjure. This way, they take every issue and provide a label for those who disagree with it. Although he could have articulated it better, Trump's attack was against four communists in Congress who happened to be women of color.
Which brings us to the other assumption the press is making about socialism being a campaign issue. The fact is that the Democratic Party platform is socialist. That these four women in Congress are even slightly embraced by the Democratic leadership is a testimony to the socialist nature of the Democratic Party leadership. Anti-Semitic remarks, crazy allegations about illegal immigrants having to drink toilet water, support of Islamic extremism, bigotry against white males, and the list goes on and on from these four women in Congress. Lies, propaganda, hypocrisy, are their currency as they trade in political intolerance and ideological bigotry. The news media and social media tech giants, which generally support a socialist agenda, are their mouthpieces.
The Democrats are going to make racism or any other "ism" the center of their upcoming campaign. They will use the resolution condemning Trump as a racist to extend the notion that anyone who supports Trump is also a racist. This is a false narrative. The threat of communism/socialism, however, is very real. The Democrat leadership tries to downplay it, but their actions and words confirm it. The trouble is Americans of voting age have been dumbed down about the threat of communism so much that they may not take the threat seriously, while no one wants to be labeled a racist. So you can see that deception is the foundation of the political agenda ahead. Let us be mindful of Ephesians 5:6, "Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things comes the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience."
A sad day in America - Bill Wilson -
In a party-line vote, the Democrat-controlled House of Representatives passed a resolution that "strongly condemns President Donald Trump's racist comments that have legitimized and increased fear and hatred of new Americans and people of color by saying that our fellow Americans who are immigrants, and those who may look to the President like immigrants, should "go back" to other countries, by referring to immigrants and asylum seekers as "invaders," and by saying that Members of Congress who are immigrants (or those of our colleagues who are wrongly assumed to be immigrants) do not belong in Congress or in the United States of America." This marks a sad day in America.
In addition, Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) retweeted an article by CNN contributor Wajahat Ali that declared in its headline "Trump is a Racist. If you still support him, so are you." House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) broke House rules by calling the President "racist" on the floor, for which she would lose her speaking privileges for the day. Democrats, however, in a party line vote, overruled the rule, allowed Pelosi to remain speaking, and ordered her remarks not be stricken from the official records. All this is political maneuvering to position the President as a racist, those who support him as racists, and the narrative will be used in political ads throughout the election. In the end of the day, nothing is solved to better the nation.
It's a sad day in America when people who prize freedom of speech cannot use their freedom to build up rather than tear down. It's a sad day in America when a President has not enough sense to behave "presidential." It's a sad day in America when elected officials will not represent their constituency rather than a tribal political ideal. It's a sad day in America when if you disagree with someone of color and you are counted a racist or bigot not on the merit of the disagreement, but because you have disagreed with a person of color. It's a sad day in America when we can't put this acerbic rhetoric aside and respectfully come together as "Americans" to solve the problems we have facing us. It's a sad day in America when words are twisted, hearts are judged, and emotions inflamed to serve nothing but hatred and hope of attaining votes from derision.
Brothers and sisters, it's a sad day in America. These elected people are behaving irresponsibly and disrespectfully, seeking offense and taking offense on every word spoken. They are not doing the bidding required of them by the Constitution or the electorate. You are not a racist because you disagree with someone of a different ethnicity or race. You are not a bigot because you disagree with someone's political belief. You are not a white supremist because you were born white. Galatians 3:28 says, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." Christian Americans are a vast voting majority in this nation. We need to expect, require and demand better of our elected officials. Otherwise it will be a sadder day in America.
Using racism to cover up racism - Bill Wilson -
Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is at the center of the firestorm that resulted in the Democrat-led House of Representatives condemning President Donald Trump for racist remarks. Yet, the accusation is being made even as the accuser is an egregious violator of the accusation. Omar has repeatedly and consistently demonstrated anti-Semitism and anti-American sentiment in her remarks. For example, on March 23 she addressed the Council on American-Islamic Relations by declaring that the Muslim community is not to be bullied, it should "raise hell" and that CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties." But wait, there's more.
In February, Omar tweeted that American political leaders' support for Israel is "all about the Benjamins."In March, Omar attended a town hall event with Reps Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), and said, "I want to talk about the political influence in this country that says it is OK for people to push for allegiance to a foreign country." Then she tweeted, "I should not be expected to have allegiance/pledge support to a foreign country in order to serve my country in Congress or serve on committee." This prompted the Democratic Party leadership to discipline her by passing a resolution aimed at condemning anti-Semitism, but was watered down to include the LGBTQ community, Muslims, and others. She responded by saying that just because she is Muslim, people receive everything she says as anti-Semitic, a form of racism.
The Weekly Standard reported June 22, 2016, "During Israel's hostilities with Hamas in 2014, Omar tweeted, "Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel." In a May 31 tweet this year (2016), she referred to Israel as an "apartheid regime."" The media downplays her remarks and affirms the Democratic Party narrative of labeling President Trump and those who support him as racist. But the truth is the truth. In continuing her longstanding anti-Semitic themes, Omar introduced a resolution this week, which is co-sponsored by Tlaib (who supports replacing Israel with a Palestinian state), to affirm Americans First Amendment right (what?) to boycott Israel for civil rights violations. She also is reported to have introduced a similar resolution when she served in the Minnesota state legislature.
Omar has told reporters that HR 496 is aimed at Israel and it uses historic examples of why to boycott Israel, including the boycott of Nazi Germany and South Africa for apartheid-both are themes that Omar and the Boycott movement (BDS) have used as comparisons to Israel. There is also documentation that the Boycott movement has been laundering money to Palestinian terrorist organizations. All this underscores Omar's racism against Jews and the duplicity of radical Islam. Yet when it is called out, the Marxist political party bosses rally to accuse others of racism. There are so many wrongs in this entire debacle. As Christians, we need to rise above this pit of darkness and lead by example. Don't taint ourselves by contending with evil in the pit, but as is written in Ephesians 6:20, "that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak."
Yes, these are dicey issues, especially when racism is the topic. You may fear that anything you say will be construed as racist. But you have the light of Christ within you and the Holy Spirit will guide you. Remember Galatians 3:28, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus." Jesus said in Mark 12:31, "love your neighbor as yourself." Truth in love, not in anger, has a way of softening hearts. We need to find a way to speak truth with the love and wisdom of Christ to bring clarity to these calamitous times. Even the Accuser has his time of judgment, and so will those who are his. For us, we are to overcome evil with good. Be encouraged.
