One, concerning hyper-inflation, economic collapse, and famine:on Apr. 29, 2021, it was reported that the price of food is soaring in Asia, a region that contains more than half of the world’s population, and history shows that soaring food prices eventually lead to social unrest (The French Revolution of 1789, Europe’sRevolutions in 1848, and a revolution in Russia in 1917). Concerning the signs of His coming: Jesus said there will be “upon the earth, distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring” (Luke 21:25). This is usually interpreted in one of two ways: the waves and seas roaring represent an increase in cyclones, hurricanes, etc., at sea; and roaring (social unrest, rioting,demonstrating, etc.) in the sea of humanity (Rev. 17:15). Two, also concerning hyper-inflation and an economic collapse:it is being reported that the Biden administration is planning to spend 6 trillion dollars just in the next 6 months alone. Some economists say America’s debt-to-GDP ratio is higher than it has been since the end of WWII, and another 6 trillion dollars will destroy the U.S. dollar. Three, concerning world government: on Apr. 28, 2021, Pres.Biden addressed the nation and a joint session of Congress. As expected, he accused America of “systemic racism,” a vague term that many say means because of slavery and segregation in America, black people do not get fair treatmentat school, at work, in elections, in housing, in anything; and everyone in America, especially white Republicans, is guilty. Using the death of George Floyd as an illustration, Biden said, the “knee of injustice [is] on the neck of black America.” In response, the black Senator from South Carolina, Tim Scott, said, “Hear me clearly: America is not a racist country,” and he added, “It’s backwards to fight discriminationwith different discrimination.” Aside from wondering how this black man got elected to the U.S. Senate if America is so racist, and aside from noting that this black man pointed out that Democrats wantto fight racism by discriminating against all white people, U.S. citizens need to understand that the purpose of portraying America as a bad nation is to restructure America and bring it into a godless world government. According to the Bible, America will be subjected to a godless world government that is far worse than what we have today; and billions of people, including multitudes ofthe black people, will regret the day it happened. Four, concerning world government: on Apr. 30, 2021, Dr. AndyWoods and Jim McGowan discussed the U.S.-Mexico Border Crisis on Pastors’ Point of View #163. The Biden administration has delegated authority over the crisis to Vice-Pres. Kamala Harris, but she has not even visited the border. For whatever it is worth, she says she is working with the radical U.S. Ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, to get the international community’s help. Notice this! Kamala Harris is delegating control of the U.S. border with Mexico to unelected foreigners instead of the U.S. Border Patrol, building a wall, etc. The fact is, according to the Migration Policy Institute, during his first 100 days in office, Biden issued 94 Executive Orders that have dismantled America’s immigrationpolicies and throw the border wide open. Five, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: Pres. Biden isnow involved in indirect talks with Iran over that terrorist nation’s quest for nuclear weapons. This prompted Israel’s Intelligence Minister, Eli Cohen, to warn that “a bad deal will send the region spiraling into war.” Cohen said, “Israel will not allow Iran to attain nuclear arms. Iran has no immunity anywhere. Our planes can reach everywhere in the Middle East.” An Israeli attack on Iran would almost surely result in Iran attacking Israel, a war that the Bible says will happen in the latter years and latter days (Ezek. 38:8, 16). Six, concerning the Mark of the Beast: on May 1, 2021, DaveHodges reported on The Common Sense Show that New Zealand has just made Covid vaccinations mandatory without public notice, discussion, etc. Seven, concerning persecution: Evangelist, Mike Gendron, boughta round-trip ticket from Texas to Green Bay on A.A. to speak at a conference. Gendron said the only time he did not wear a mask was while he was drinking a cup of water, and no flight attendant ever asked him to put his mask on. Two days later, when Gendron checked in at the airport to return to Texas, he was told he was banned from flying on A.A. for not wearing a mask on his trip to Green Bay. An overnight hotel room and a ticket on another airline cost him another $600, and none of the money he paid A.A. for a round-trip ticket was refunded. After a week of trying to straighten this out, A.A. stopped taking Gendron’s calls. Why he was reportedly falsely banned for not wearing a mask is a matter of speculation. Persecution of those that object to what is happening to America is intensifying almost daily. Eight, A reader sent an e-mail reminding me that some past prophecyteachers have suggested that world leaders might use the Rapture to deceive people. Several highly respected prophecy teachers speculated for years that globalists might promote the Rapture as an alien abduction to scare people into uniting against a threatfrom outer space and thereby accept a one-world government. I consulted with a friend, and we agreed that it is time to remind people of this. My friend even sent a link to an Apr. 30, 2021, article titled, “Pentagon whistleblower warns of UFO intelligence failure on ‘level of 911.'” The whistleblower, a former Pentagon investigator, said there is something out there and U.S. citizens need to be told. As it turns out, the U.S. government will release files on the subject in June. Just know this: The Church will be removed from planet Earth by Jesus, not UFOs from outer space. This is not to say that UFOs don’t exist or that people don’t need to know about them, but it is to say that people shouldn’t allow themselves to be deceived and scaredinto a world government because leaders have decided to admit that UFOs are not a conspiracy theory or because they have made up lies to convince people that a world government is needed to defend the planet. The rise of the Antichrist over a Satanic world government is a greater threat than aliens from outer space. Christians oppose a godless world government, but they support the coming world government of Jesus during the Millennium. Christians oppose the false peace on earth that the Antichrist will promote, but they support the peace on earth that the Prince of Peace (Jesus) will establish. Christians oppose the false religions of Mother Earth, the Green New Deal, Chrislam, etc., but they support the true teachings and worship of the Father, Son and Holy Spiritas recorded in the Bible (God’s will). Nine, concerning godless world government: the fact that theDemocrat Party left God out of their Party Platform is now old news, and so is the fact that on Feb. 26, 2021, Jerry Nadler, a Democrat from New York, said, “What any religious tradition describes as God’s will is no concern of this Congress.” It has now been reported that the National Day of Prayer will not be allowed at the U.S. Capitol for the first time in 70 years. There was a request for prayer at the Capitol, but it was denied supposedly because the Capitol is closed due to the January 6 protests. This writer believes prayer is badly needed, and the truth is that those that have taken over the Capitol support a godless world government. The America that was based on Judeo-Christian values no longer exists. Jesus said the day of His coming will be like the days of Noah (Matt: 24:37). In the days of Noah, God saw that the wickedness of man was great. He was grieved and decided to destroy man with a Flood (Gen. 6:5-7). Ten, on May 2, 2021, it was reported that California plans torelease at least 76,000 inmates. •63,000 of them have been imprisoned for violent crimes and repeat felonies. •20,000 of them have been given life sentences with the possibility of parole. •10,000 of them have been imprisoned twice. •About 2,900 of them have been imprisoned 3 times under the state’s “three strikes law.” Critics say putting thousands of criminals back on the streets will increase wickedness and criminal activity in California. To make matters worse, police are retiring or quitting in record numbers all over the U.S. because of the “Defund the Police” movement, the liability, and the abuse andhatred that is being directed toward them. Finally, if you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, youmust be born again (John 3:3). Surprisingly, thiswas one CNN article that would actually pass an impartial fact check. We really are seeing very painful inflation throughout the entire economy, and this is causing many to recall the days of �stagflation� under Jimmy Carter in the 1970s. But the corporate media doesn�t exactly have a long track record of being straight with us. So why are they seemingly being honest with us in this case? Is it that this crisis has now become so obvious that nobody can deny it any longer, or is there another agenda at work? I wish that I had an answer to that question. If you go to Google News and type �inflation� into the search bar, you will get page after page after page of recent articlesabout rising prices. To me, food inflation is one of the greatest concerns because it hits average American families particularly hard. And at this point, even the price of apples is rising quite dramatically� Costs for apples are up 10% to 20% depending on the variety, said Mike Ferguson, vice president of produce and floral at Topco Associates LLC, an Elk Grove Village, Ill.-basedcooperative of more than 40 food companies including grocer Wegmans Food Markets Inc. Bananas and leafy greens are more expensive too, Topco said, while vegetable oils and oil-heavy products like salad dressing and mayonnaise are also getting pricier in partbecause of higher ingredient prices. �Our overall goal is to cover cost increases,� said Jon Moeller, operating chief at Procter & Gamble Co. Procter & Gamble is raising prices on baby products, adult diapersand feminine-care brands. For a while, some food producers tried to swallow the cost increases that they were experiencing, but that could only go on for so long. Now many of those cost increases are being passed on to consumers, and the CEO of Kellogg is admitting that he hasn�t seen this sort of inflation �in many, many years�� Kellogg Co., maker of Frosted Flakes, Cheez-Its and Pringles, said Thursday that higher costs for ingredients, labor and shipping are pushing it and other food makers toraise prices. �We haven�t seen this type of inflation in many, many years,� Chief Executive Officer Steve Cahillane said. But at least food prices are not going up as fast as used vehicle prices have been rising. The following comes from Wolf Richter� This has been going on for months: Used-vehicle prices spiking from jaw-dropper to jaw-dropper, and just when I thought prices couldn�t possibly spike further, they do. Prices of used vehicles that were sold at auctions around the US in April spiked by 8.3% from March, by 20% year-to-date, by 54% from April 2020, and by 40% from April 2019,according to the Used Vehicle Value Index released today by Manheim, the largest auto auction operator in the US and a unit of Cox Automotive. A 54 percent increase in 12 months? That is insane. And the Fed still has the gall to insist that inflation has been �low�. I have written quite a few articles about how home prices have been soaring into the stratosphere, and now rents are escalating rapidly as well. In fact, one of the largest landlords in America just raised rents on vacant properties by 11 percent� On Thursday, American Homes 4 Rent, which owns 54,000 houses, increased rents 11% on vacant properties in April, the company reported in a statement All throughout the economy we see prices going up by double digits. But Fed officials insist that these price increases are just �transitory� and are not any sort of a permanent problem. We are also being told that all of the shortages that have emerged in the past couple of months are �temporary� too. Some of these shortages are starting to become quitepainful, and that is particularly true for the global shortage of computer chips that we are currently experiencing� In the market for a new car, smartphone or washing machine this year? A global shortage of computer chips could mean you have to wait a while � and pay more. A growing number of manufacturers around the world are having trouble securing supplies of semiconductors, delaying the production and delivery of goods and threateningto push up the prices paid by consumers. Just think of all the products that you own that contain computer chips. It isn�t a short list. As a society, we have become extremely dependent on computer chips, and CNN is admitting that this shortage �is likely to last through 2021�� The shortage is going from bad to worse, spreading from cars to consumer electronics. With the bulk of chip production concentrated in a handful of suppliers, analysts warnthat the crunch is likely to last through 2021. This shortage is having a dramatic impact up and down various supply chains, and that is going to be the case for the foreseeable future. At the Sogefi manufacturing facility in West Virginia, the computer chip shortage is just one of the shortages that is causing massive headaches right now� Whenever the Sogefi plant here runs out of resin or computer chips or cardboard boxes or wooden pallets or really anything at all, it�s Randy Simpkins�s problem. And wheneverone of Sogefi�s customers howls about a late shipment, that�s Simpkins�s problem, too. These days, Simpkins has plenty of problems. Our economy is not functioning very smoothly at all, and that isn�t going to change any time soon. But on Friday we were supposed to get some good economic news. The U.S. economy was supposed to have added about a million jobs in April, but instead we learned that it only added 266,000� Employers added a disappointing 266,000 jobs in April even as the number of new COVID-19 cases stayed low, more states lifted constraints and vaccinations accelerated. The gains fell well short of projections in a recovery that�s expected to gather force through the summer, with a million or more jobs added each month. This is supposed to be �the recovery�, but the unemployment rate actually went up last month. Ouch. Let us hope for a better number next month, because there are millions upon millions of Americans that still need to get back to work. This little �bubble of hope� is about as good as things are going to get for the U.S. economy, and it is just a matter of time before the economy heads into more dark days. We have literally mortgaged our future to give our economy a temporary short-term boost, and after trillions of dollars in spending the economic numbers are still incrediblyanemic. Sadly,lots of Americans didn�t. There was yelling, there was screaming, there was lots of hoarding, vehicles were waiting in line for hours at stations that still had gas, and there were reports that brawls were even breaking out between frustrated motorists. Eventhough we knew that the shortages were just going to be temporary, people were �panic buying� gasoline as if the apocalypse had arrived. In fact, one energy expert said that this was �the worst panic buying for gasoline since the Carter Administration�� �This is the worst panic buying for gasoline since the Carter Administration,� said Tom Kloza, global head of energy analysis at the Oil Price Information Service. Kloza said outages at more than 10,000 gas stations are spreading �like a bad rash� on the East Coast. Much of the problem is people are buying gasoline at twice the normalrate in the Florida peninsula, as well as in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. For some individuals, just filling up their tanks with gasoline was not enough. Motorists began to fill up any containers that they had on hand with gasoline, and some ofthe things we witnessed were incredibly stupid. For example, you should never, ever try to fill up plastic bags with gasoline. I know that sounds obvious, but apparently so many people were doing this that the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission felt that it had to send out a tweet telling peopleto stop. The more gas stations that ran dry, the worse the panic buying frenzy became. At first we were told that 1,000 stations were out of gas, and then it was 2,000 stations, and finally we were told that more than 10,000 stations were out. In certain major cities, nearly all of the gas stations have run dry. Just check out these numbers� The supply crunch appears to be much worse in some major metro areas. GasBuddy reported outages Wednesday morning impacting 71% of the stations in metro Charlotte, nearly60% in Atlanta, 72% in Raleigh and 73% in Pensacola. All of this happened because a single pipeline got shut down by a cyberattack. The Colonial Pipeline is 5,500 miles long, and it supples approximately half of the gasoline for the east coast. On Wednesday evening, the company finally announced thatoperations were restarting, but they warned that it is going to take several days for things to �return to normal�� Colonial Pipeline initiated the restart of pipeline operations today at approximately 5 p.m. ET. Following this restart, it will take several days for the product delivery supply chain to return to normal. Some markets served by Colonial Pipeline may experience, orcontinue to experience, intermittent service interruptions during the start-up period. Colonial will move as much gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel as is safely possible and will continue to do so until markets return to normal. But something doesn�t add up here. The pipeline is being restarted, but the company has announced that it has absolutely no plans to pay the ransom to the hackers� Colonial Pipeline reportedly has no plans to pay rumored $5 million-plus ransom to Russian hackers who have paralyzed the key gas pipeline, as President Joe Biden vows toget the fuel crisis �under control� with pressure mounting on his administration to do more. Do the hackers no longer pose a threat to the pipeline? I don�t understand. Either the pipeline never needed to be shut down in the first place, or the hackers are still in a position to cause major damage if they carry through on their threats. Someone needs to explain which of those alternatives is true. Meanwhile, we just learned that Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is trying to shut down another important pipeline� Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer says Enbridge Inc. has until Wednesday to shut a huge crude pipeline that crosses the Great Lakes. The Canadian company says it�s gotthe law on its side, and the oil will keep flowing. The standoff is the latest milepost in the increasingly tense dispute over Line 5, a 540,000 barrel-a-day line that supplies half of the oil and propane used by parts ofthe U.S. Midwest and Ontario. Is she crazy? Needless to say, we have had the answer to that question for quite some time. But what she is trying to do now is beyond insane. Why in the world would anyone try to shut down a pipeline when there are gas shortages happening all over the country? Well, Governor Whitmer is apparently concerned that the pipeline �is too exposed to potential accidents�� Whitmer argues the pipeline, built in 1953, is too exposed to potential accidents where it crosses at the Straits of Mackinac in the northern part of the state. But thetwo sides are in a court-ordered mediation, and Enbridge plans to keep the line running while that plays out � prompting Whitmer to threaten to sue to take any profits it makes. Are you kidding me? She could have waited until this current crisis has passed, but Whitmer has decided that action must be taken immediately before any �potential accidents� are allowed tohappen. Is Whitmer really this incompetent, or is another agenda at work? We really don�t know what is going on behind the scenes. We are told that a �ransomware gang� attacked the Colonial Pipeline, but it actually could have been anyone. It could have been terrorists, it could have been another county, it could have been an attack from inside our own country, or it could have been the work of some smellyoverweight guy chomping down Oreo cookies in his mother�s basement. We just don�t know. But this just shows us how deeply vulnerable we are. If disrupting a single pipeline for just a few days can cause this much chaos, what in the world is going to happen when we are facing multiple long-term national emergencies? To me, this is another major league wake up call.
