ISRAEL UPDATE: 5.22.21 - Obadiah and the Gaza War

Obadiah and the Gaza War Ken Johnson - https://prophecywatchers.com/obadiah-and-the-gaza-war/ As I am writing this, the nation of Israel has just had its seventy-third birthday. As many of you know, recently Hamas, who is the governmental / terrorist group in Gaza, started a war with Israel by launching thousands of rockets. As of this morning, there have been over 3700 rockets fired at Israeli cities. I believe that this event could be a part of the Biblical end time prophecies. Lets begin by looking at how the propheciessaid this would start. The Beginning The prophet Obadiah wrote about the end of Edom from verse 1 to verse 14. The rest of the book is about the end times. Some scholars think this first part is referring tojust the ancient Edomite empire started by Esau, Jacobs brother. Although this does fit, the Dead Sea Scrolls teach that the major and minor prophets teach about the events that happen leading up to, and including, the millennial reign of the Messiah. Severalof us who study the biblical prophecies think this first section (verses 1-14) may also refer to Mystery Babylon. But for now, lets focus on how the nation of Israel and the Gaza strip were supposed to form. The prophecy says, For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head. For as ye have drunk uponMy holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been. Obadiah 1:15-16 KJV Verses 15-16 say that the following events will begin before the start of the seven-year tribulation. It is when the Day of the Lord is near, not upon you. This is the timeperiod ranging from the return of the nation of Israel, which was in AD 1948, to the beginning of the seven-year tribulation. During all of this time the Gentile nations (Muslim nations) have performed their rituals on the Temple Mount. This practice willstop and be like it never happened. But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, andthe house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it. Obadiah 1:17-18 KJV Verses 17-18 say that there will be a time when Israel returns to their land. The remnant of the house of Esau would be still living in the land; today we refer to themas Palestinians. Israel will be like a fire is to kindling, which means highly successful. This is exactly what happened. In AD 1948, Israel was reborn as a nation. Within hours many Muslim nations attacked. The attacking nations told the Muslim inhabitantsthat they should flee until they had wiped out all the Jews, then they could return to life as normal. However, by the wars end the Jews had won and gained even more of their ancient territory back. Those who fled were displaced. Obadiah correctly revealsthe result of the 1948 war. And they of the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and they of the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: andBenjamin shall possess Gilead. Obadiah 1:19 KJV Look very carefully at verse 19. The state of Israel was created in the middle of the land and those who fled from there went to three places: the mount of Esau whichis southern Jordan, the fields of Samaria which became known as the West Bank, and the plain of the Philistines which became known as the Gaza Strip. What has not happened yet is the tribe of Benjamin returns to the land of Israel and possesses ancientGilead. The land of Gilead is currently part of north western Jordan. There are several prophecies on what will happen to the Golan Heights, Gilead, and Jordan, but for now lets continue with Gaza. Through world pressure, Israel was talked into granting Gazaits autonomy. That proved to be a major mistake. A terrorist organization rose up in Gaza calling itself Hamas. Hamas The word Hamas means violence in Hebrew. Most of the time the word Hamas should just be translated violence. But there are a few Old Testament passages that speakof this violence being a group of people who are anti-Israel. For instance, this group seems to be headquartered in the ancient area of the Philistines. Today we call this area the Gaza Strip. Remember Samson delivered the Children of Israel from the Philistinesin Judges 15. Back then the capital was Gath, today it is Gaza City. Cross to Calneh and see; and from there go to the great Hamath; then go down to Gath of the Philistines. Are they better than these kingdoms, or their border than yourborder? You who put the evil day far away, and cause the seat of violence [Hamas] to come near Amos 6:2-3 LITV Hamas arises when the Day of trouble is near. So, this is not during the seven-year tribulation but before it. They are wiped out and not even other Muslim nations object. This is probably because Hamas holds allegiance to the extremely radical Muslim nation of Iran. Most Muslim nations are afraid of what Iran might do to them. When God arises to judge Hamas, it will be a complete judgment, none of them shall remain. The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains. Now will I shortlypour out My fury upon thee, and accomplish Mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations. And Mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thyways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth. Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded. Violence [Hamas] is risen up into a rodof wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them. Ezekiel 7:7-11 KJV Retaking of Gaza That brings us to the current Gaza War. We must carefully analyze Obadiah 20 piece by piece. The prophet says, And the captivity of this host of the children of Israel shall possess that of the Canaanites Obadiah 1:20a KJV The ancient land of the Canaanites was on the west coast of Israel and extended southward all the way to the Sinai Peninsula. In the beginning Hamas fired rockets withoutadvanced guidance systems, so most of the time they did not hit their intended targets. It was dangerous for Israel to allow this to go on, but intense political pressure prevented them from permanently stopping the attacks. Hamas is backed by an extremelyradical Iran. This means that even though Muslim nations want to see Israel destroyed, because of what their religion teaches, they are content to say nothing at this time if it means Israel might end their Iranian threat. And they do. That prophecy is recordedin Jeremiah 49:34-39. Jeremiah predicts that Elam, the coast of Iran, will be destroyed by fire and the entire coast contaminated so that the people living there have to flee to other countries (sounds like the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant located on the cost). After this event Iran becomes a godly nation. Presently, with the political pressure off, and Hamas obtaining missiles with more advanced guidance systems, this prophecy might be in the process of being fulfilled. IsraeliPrime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was quoted as saying that Israel will return to the ancient laws. Any nation that attacks them will be driven out of that area and that land will be annexed. Enemy land will become part of the sovereign nation of Israel. Nowif an Israeli politician decides to give the land back to the anti-Israel Palestinians five years from now, then this whole process will start all over again and this will have been just a dress rehearsal. But since Hamas is mentioned by name in Scripture,I think this just might be the complete fulfillment of Obadiahs prophecy. The Next War Hezbollah in Lebanon What happens afterward? Obadiah continues. And the captivity of this host of the children of Israel shall possess that of the Canaanites, even unto Zarephath Obadiah 1:20a-b KJV Not only does Israel permanently take the Gaza Strip, but they take control of the coast all the way up to the ancient city of Zarephath. That is where the prophet Elijahhealed the widows son. What was Zarephath is close to the modern town of Sarafand, Lebanon. Zarephath is located about eight and a half miles south of Sidon and fourteen miles north of Tyre. Think about this for a moment. During the Millennial Reign, thenorthern border of Israel will be in Syria, far north of Zarephath and the current northern border of Israel is south of Zarephath. This means that this battle is truly before the Day of the Lord and in our very near future. Also notice when this takes placethe Lebanese city of Sidon will still be in Lebanon, but the ancient city of Tyre will be Israeli land. The Negev Colonized Verse 20 ends by saying, and the captivity of Jerusalem, which is in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south. Obadiah 1:20c KJV This means that the Jews that were dispersed from Jerusalem to Spain (Sepharad) will return and colonize the Negev. Those who fled to Spain became known as Sephardic Jews.In AD 1492, the Sephardic Jews were given an ultimatum. Their three choices were to convert to Roman Catholicism, leave Spain, or die. Many left and some of these are now ready to return to Israel. When God grants Israel victory over their enemies and theland of Israel expands, these Jews will return and colonize the Negev just as Obadiah predicts! You can study these predictions and many others in my book Ancient Prophecies Revealed. Conclusion We will see the permanent retaking of Gaza and southern Lebanon by Israel. We are even told where the new borders will be. We will also see the Iranian threat neutralizedand Iran becoming a godly country. We need to spread the word of the Biblical prophecies, the love of God, and the message of the Gospel now! When these prophecies come to pass, and skeptics remember that we told them about it in advance, many of them willcome to the Lord. This also means that we should look up, for our redemption is drawing near. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Trumpets and Tank Engines: A Turning Point in Gaza? - by RichardKemp - https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/17372/turning-point-in-gaza During an operation in Gaza last week, the Israel Defense Forces attacked a Hamas tunnel complex with 12 squadrons of 160 combat planes striking over 150 targets with hundreds of bunker-busting JDAMs [Joint Direct AttackMunitions] in less than an hour. Although the battle damage assessment is still underway, the raid destroyed perhaps the most critical element of Hamas infrastructure, wiping out vast stocks of munitions and likely killing dozens if not hundreds of fighters. This was a hammer blow to Hamas and may prove to be a turning point in the conflict. It also sent a powerful message to Iran and Hizballah, foretelling the consequences of an assault on Israel with their arsenal of tens of thousands of missiles in southernLebanon. The IDF operation was a carefully coordinated combination of intelligence, surveillance, knowledge of enemy tactics, deception, surprise and precisely targeted, overwhelmingforce. Of all these, deception and surprise were key. Surprise is a principle of war in the American, British and many other forces, defined in the US Army Field Manual as "striking the enemy at a time or place or in a manner for which he is unprepared." Themanual goes on to say: "Deception can aid the probability of achieving surprise". Throughout the history of warfare, surprise achieved through deception has led to many stunning military victories — often against the odds. The IDF's deception operation was reminiscent of the biblical Israelite leader Gideon's famous stratagem against the Midianites. He had his men blow trumpets, light torchesand yell battle cries, simulating a much larger force and causing the vastly superior enemy army to flee the field. Last Thursday, the IDF massed tanks, artillery and infantry combat vehicles on the Gaza border, engines roaring like Gideon's trumpets. The build-up was observed by Hamas and widely reported in international media as an imminentground invasion. Like the Midianites, hundreds of Hamas fighters rushed to take shelter inside the "metro" tunnel network. Built by Hamas after the 2014 conflict to house command facilities, store weapons and facilitate protected movement, these tunnels covereddozens of kilometers beneath the Gaza Strip. There the fighters were trapped as JDAM after JDAM thundered in from above. Emerging to fight the invasion that never came, the surviving anti-tank teams and mortar squads were then also hit from the air. This masterpiece of tactical synchronization, with all its complex elements, symbolizes the IDF's precision attacks during this campaign, Operation Guardian of the Walls, which have already inflicted damage from which Hamaswill not recover for years. The IDF learnt many lessons from previous engagements in Gaza and since 2014 have vigorously collected intelligence and worked to develop battle plans and technological solutions to deal with Hamas and their Palestinian IslamicJihad bedfellows. Hamas is no match for the IDF and could be quickly and much more cheaply defeated by blunt and crushing military force were it not for one thing — the Israeli need to minimize loss of civilian life. Hamas know that. Theyknow they cannot prevail over the IDF and have no intention of trying. Their entire strategy is to attack Israeli population centers using rockets, kamikaze drones and tunnels, aimed at luring IDF counter attacks that will kill their own civilians in orderto vilify and isolate Israel around the world and gain international support for their cause. With human shields as the fundamental element of every operation, Hamas are the first "army" in history to use the lives of their own civilian population as weaponsof war. Their strategy has been woefully successful. Over many years of conflict in Gaza, the majority of the world's media have enthusiastically reported the deaths of Palestiniancivilians as though they were the deliberate object of Israel's callous and uncaring way of war. This blatantly false propaganda has been taken up by Hamas supporters and "useful idiots" in the West. In the US, Britain and Europe, last week we have seen hundredsof anti-Israel demonstrators brandishing Palestinian banners, burning Israeli flags, spitting out their hate for the Jewish state and screaming about IDF baby-killers. Hamas's calumny is a prime motivator among Israel-loathing academics in Western universitiesand high schools who have mined their false allegations as rich seams of material to indoctrinate generations of students. Human rights groups around the world have been doing the same. There have been dozens of anti-Israel resolutions at the UN, often drawing on Hamas's narrative, twistingevery aspect of the conflicts in Gaza. The prize has been the International Criminal Court's decision this year to launch a full investigation with the hope of dragging Israeli soldiers, officials and politicians into the dock at The Hague. I have taken part in every UN Human Rights Council evidence session and emergency debate on Gaza conflicts in the last 15 years. The wilful ignorance combined with malicehas always been breathtaking. Every commission of inquiry determined Israel's guilt before it even met for the first time. Every debate and vote has overwhelmingly and of course falsely affirmed Israel's supposed war crimes and crimes against humanity. MeanwhileHamas's actual multiple war crimes have been brushed aside. The reality is very different from the lies emanating from these modern-day Towers of Babel. The IDF attack on the "metro" tunnels this week depended on lightning actionand the coordination of 160 planes attacking a small area in a very short space of time. Alongside these awesome complexities, the IDF did all they could to ensure minimum loss of civilian life by selecting targets where the lowest levels of innocents wouldbe harmed, such as empty roadways under which tunnels ran, and maintaining close surveillance to confirm a bus load of civilians didn't suddenly appear. The IDF have so far destroyed several high-rise buildings containing critical Hamas military infrastructureas well as civilian offices and apartments. Remarkably all of these have been smashed down without any reported civilian casualties. As in previous conflicts in Gaza the IDF has made radio broadcasts in Arabic, sent SMS messages and even phoned civilians inside the Strip to warn them of impending strikes, where to go for their own safety and which routes to take. Gazans have given interviews confirming this. When civilians do not leave an intended target building, the IDF sometimes drop specially designed low-power munitions ("knock on the roof") to encourage them to get out. With careful surveillance of target areas, the Israeli air force frequently aborts planned sorties if there is a risk of civilian casualties. In a conflict designed by Hamas to maximize civilian deaths, some are inevitable. It is too early to accurately assess casualty figures or ratios of civilians to fighters killed, but current assessments suggest the IDF havebeen even more successful in minimizing civilian casualties during this campaign than in previous engagements in Gaza. Many in the media, human rights groups and international bodies have rushed to characterize all civilian casualties (other than those inflictedby Hamas, of course) as war crimes. But the Geneva Conventions disagree. Inflicting civilian casualties is not illegal provided a military operation is necessary for the prosecution of a war, they are not disproportionate to the planned military gain and thatcombatant commanders do not intentionally target civilians while doing all they can to avoid hitting them. The media takes reports from the Gaza health ministry as authoritative and objective. That is disingenuous and they know it. The health ministry is controlled by Hamas andfollows their every order. For example, of around 2,000 rockets fired so far by Hamas during this conflict, approximately 400 have fallen short, landing inside Gaza. Some of these have killed civilians and the health ministry has attributed all of them toIDF action. Counterintuitively, the most effective means of saving Gazan civilian lives has been Israel's Iron Dome anti-missile system. Despite Hamas efforts to overwhelm it, IronDome has had a 90% success rate in preventing missiles from Gaza hitting their targets. Not only has this saved the lives of countless Israeli civilians but it has also meant the IDF campaign can be more deliberate, discriminating and precise. If hundredsof Israelis were dying under Hamas rockets, the IDF would have no choice other than to strike Gaza with much greater ferocity and ground forces would already have entered the Gaza Strip, unavoidably inflicting vastly more civilian casualties than we have seenso far. Despite all of this, as the media unceasingly show us, the real victims in this campaign have indeed been Gaza civilians. But they usually get the cause wrong. Every oneis due to Hamas's unprovoked aggression against Israel. None would have occurred without it. Once this round of fighting is over, Hamas will work to build back better for next time — that is, to regenerate their military capability rather than civilian infrastructure. If Western governments, international bodies and human rights groups are genuinely interested in avoiding suffering in Gaza, they should start now, striving to end Hamas's reign of terror rather than support it by parroting their baleful narrative. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Netanyahu Warns Well Do Whatever It Takes To Restore Order And Quiet After Nearly 3,000 Rockets Are Fired At Israel - by Michael Snyder - http://endoftheamericandream.com/netanyahu-warns-well-do-whatever-it-takes-to-restore-order-and-quiet-after-nearly-3000-rockets-are-fired-at-israel/ If you were running a country and somebody decided to fire close to 3,000 rockets at your cities, what would you do? I know what I would do, and it wouldnt be pretty. Everynation on the entire planet has a right to self-defense, but right now Israel is being savagely attacked by the left and by corporate media outlets all over the globe for simply choosing to defend itself. Of course if 3,000 rockets were fired at WashingtonD.C. or New York City, many of those same voices would be calling for all-out war. The hypocrisy that we are witnessing right now is staggering. Hamas made the decision to start lobbing hundreds and hundreds of rockets at Israel, and now they are paying agreat price for doing so. During an appearance on Face The Nation on Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that his nation will continue to do whatever it takes to restore order and quiet Hamas should just be thankful that the Israeli military has not invaded yet. But if Hamas keeps lobbing rockets at Israel, that could still change. According to one report, the number of rockets that have been fired at Israel over the past week hasnow grown to nearly 3,000 Israel has faced the highest-ever rate of rocket attacks on its territory during its latest confrontation with the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas that controls Gaza, thearmy said on Sunday (May 16). Since Monday, armed groups in Gaza have fired about 3,000 rockets towards Israel, surpassing the pace during an escalation in 2019 and during the 2006 war with LebanonsHezbollah, said Major-General Ori Gordin. If you fire 3,000 rockets at someone, you should expect them to fight back. I dont know why this is so hard for some people to understand. Global officials are still hoping that some sort of ceasefire can be achieved, but Sunday was the deadliest day of the conflict so far Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City flattened three buildings and killed at least 37 people Sunday, medics said, making it the deadliest single attack since heavy fighting brokeout between Israel and the territorys militant Hamas rulers nearly a week ago. The violence, which came as international mediators worked to broker a cease-fire and stave off an Israeli ground invasion of the territory, marked the worst fighting heresince the devastating 2014 war in Gaza. But even though Sunday is being called the deadliest day up to this point, I think that what happened a few days ago was far more important. On Thursday, the Israeli military announced that air and ground forces from the IDF are now attacking in Gaza, and media outlets all over the globe started to report thata ground invasion of Gaza had begun. Of course a ground invasion did not take place. Instead, air and ground forces were firing into Gaza, but they did not actually cross into the territory. Many thought that the unclear language was just an accident, but now we are learning that it was actually a planned trick Now it has been clarified that the unclear announcement was a planned trick by the IDF to eliminate a large number of Hamas terrorists within a short time. Hordes of Hamas fighters rushed for the safety of their underground tunnels when they thought that an invasion had started, and it was at that moment that the IDF hitthose tunnels extremely hard On Thursday night, the IDF brought in 160 aircraft and dropped 450 bombs containing over 80 tons of explosives, hitting 150 terror targets in 35 minutes. Hamas undergroundcity was hit with enormous force, and the IDF collapsed the terror tunnel system, on the heads of the terrorists hiding in the tunnels. During the attack, many kilometres of terror tunnels were destroyed. As of now, neither Israel nor Hamas is clear on the exact scope of the damage, but according to estimates,a large number of terrorists were buried in the sands beneath Gaza. Hamas will never be the same after this. Now that the capabilities of Hamas have been severely damaged, some Israeli officials are reportedly pushing for an end to the conflict On Saturday, senior defense officials were pushing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Benny Gantz to start working toward a ceasefire that would bringan end to the IDF operation. This is based on an understanding that the military has met most of its goals since the beginning of the operation on Monday evening. And personally, I expect things to quiet down at least a bit as Israel celebrates the festival of Shavuot from Sunday evening to Tuesday evening This year, it begins the evening of Sunday, May 16 and lasts until the evening of Tuesday, May 18. It always falls on the Hebrew calendar 6 Sivan through 7 Sivan. But according to the Scriptures, this is not the correct time for Shavuot to be celebrated. According to Leviticus 23, following the day of Firstfruits seven Sabbaths are to be counted, and the day following the seventh Sabbath is to be the day of Shavuot. So this year the day of Shavuot should be celebrated from sundown on Saturday, May 22nd to sundown on Sunday, May 23rd. In any event, I expect the Israelis to pull back a bit over the next few days, and this could be an opportunity for the rest of the world to push for a ceasefire. If a ceasefire is achieved, that will be good news, because that will mean that the next major war in the Middle East will be put off for at least a while. As I discussed the other day, Henry Gruver was shown that when Israel sends troops into Gaza, it will be a sign the Middle East War has started. No Israeli troops haveofficially been sent into Gaza yet, and so that threshold still has not been crossed. We should be thankful for that, but it is just a matter of time before we do see a massive military conflict in the Middle East. As we have seen over the past week, this is definitely a time of wars and rumors of wars. Israel and Hamas may agree to some sort of temporary ceasefire in the coming days, but the peace will not last. War is inevitably coming, and that war will mean great death and destruction for the entire region. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gateway to the prophetic end times Bill Wilson www.dailyjot.com Gaza is the greatest evidence that so-called Palestinians have no intention of ever living side by side in peace with Israel. In August, 2005, The Daily Jot reported: It is the biggest and most successful propaganda and public relations campaign of the century. The world has come to believe that if only Israel will give up the land that it obtained in 1967 and 1973 when a vicious and unprovoked attack from Arab stateswas miraculously repelled by the small, outnumbered state of Israel, then there would be peace in the region. Instead, the Israeli evacuation from Gaza will usher in a new prophetic era where violence and worldwide natural and political disruption will accelerateat an unprecedented pace. The tens of thousands of missiles shooting at Israeli civilian targets over the past several weeks underscore that the intent is not about having their own country. It isabout killing Jews. Prior to 2004, the Palestinian Authority (PA) website had as its goal to drive the Jews to the sea and annihilate them. Islamic Jihad, the PA, Hezbollah and other terrorist groups have Jerusalem in their sights. In August 2005 with theevacuation of Israelis from Gaza, PA President Mahmoud Abbas declared, From here, from this place, our nation and our masses are walking toward the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. Hamas leader Ismail Haniyehsaid, This is a first step toward liberating all our lands, first and foremost Jerusalem. When then Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, supported by President George W. Bush, forced the evacuation of Israelis from Gaza, Israelis left under gunfire as the terroristsviewed the action as a retreat. Almost immediately, the Hamas terrorist organization, soon to be a major successful political party elected by the Palestinians, sent gunman into Gaza City. Against the backdrop of a sign stating, My dream is not going to becompleted without Jerusalem, a Hamas spokesman said, This retreat [by Israel] does not mean the end of our battle, but it is the beginning. In September, 2005, less than a month after Israel, in a painful action of good will toward peace, evicted the lastsettler from Gaza, the darlings of the international peace movement, the Palestinians, used Gaza as a launching pad for a missile attack on Israeli towns and civilians. Since leaving Gaza behind in 2005, Israel has watched Gaza become a hotbed for terrorists. Thousands crossed the Egyptian border bringing with them weapons of terror assupplied by Iran, China, and Russia. It is amazing that world leaders would be duped into believing that the PA would prevent such terrorism. There is always an incident, usually created by the terrorists. There is always an excuse for the terrorists to attack. And Israel is always blamed. These terrorists, with Jerusalem as their prize, are prying open the prophetic gateway to the end times through which the world will rush to fulfill the rest of the Zechariah 12:3 prophecy, all that burden themselves with Jerusalemshall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. What was true in 2005 remains so today. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As Israel Relentlessly Pounds Terrorists In Gaza, The War ThreatensTo Expand Elsewhere - by Michael Snyder - http://endoftheamericandream.com/as-israel-relentlessly-pounds-terrorists-in-gaza-the-war-threatens-to-expand-elsewhere/ Residents of Gaza spent the night cowering in fear as a series of dramatic airstrikes destroyed buildings used by Hamas terrorists. We have never seen anything quite likethis, and the Israelis havent shown any signs that they plan to let up any time soon. In fact, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is saying that the IDF will continue to operate as long as needed to restore quiet and security to all Israelis. That couldtake a while, because Hamas just keeps firing even more rockets into Israel. On Monday, Hamas rockets forced Israeli citizens into bomb shelters in the cities of Ashdod, Ashkelon and Beer Sheva On Monday, a fresh barrage of rockets from Gaza once again set off sirens and sent Israelis fleeing into bomb shelters in Ashdod, Ashkelon and Beer Sheva. At least one residentialbuilding in Ashdod was hit, the IDF said. If Hamas really wants the fighting to end, they should stop firing rockets at Israeli cities. But instead, they just keep doing the exact thing that they know will cause the Israelis to attack them. Hamas fired 200 more rockets into Israel on Monday, and the grandtotal for the conflict is now above 3,300 The Israeli military said late on Monday that Hamas and other Palestinian groups had fired about 3,350 rockets from Gaza 200 of them on Monday alone and that Israeliair and artillery strikes had killed at least 130 militants. Of course Hamas insists that they were just responding to attacks by the IDF earlier on Monday. According to USA Today, those attacks destroyed the personal homes of nineHamas commanders The Israeli military unleashed another heavy wave of airstrikes Monday on the Gaza Strip, saying it destroyed militant tunnels and the homes of nine Hamas commanders. Internationaldiplomacy to end the weeklong war that has killed hundreds appeared to be making little headway. And the IDF also announced that the strikes on Monday had destroyed 15 kilometers of underground tunnels that Hamas had constructed The latest attacks destroyed the five-story building housing the Hamas-run Religious Affairs Ministry, a building Israel said housed the main operations center of Hamas internal security forces. Israel also killed a top Gaza leader of Islamic Jihad, another militant group whom the Israeli military blamed for some of the thousands of rocket attacks launched at Israel in recent days. Israel said its strikes destroyed 15 kilometers(9 miles) of tunnels used by militants. Originally, I had thought that the fighting would subside during the early part of this week as Israel celebrated Shavuot. I was wrong about that. Instead, the fighting has only intensified, and it threatens to spill over into other arenas. For example, global media outlets were deeply alarmed when six shells were fired from Lebanon toward Israel Around midnight, six shells were fired from Lebanon towards northern Israel, but fell short of crossing the border, the Israeli military said, adding that it fired artilleryat the sources of the launches in Lebanon. If Hezbollah were to join this war, that could completely change the nature of this conflict. Hezbollah is far better organized and far better armed than Hamas is, and it has been reported that Hezbollah currently has at least 150,000 missiles pointed at Israel. So we need to watch developments in Lebanon very carefully, because if Israel and Lebanon start lobbing missiles at one another, things will start to get apocalyptic veryquickly. Elsewhere, Turkey is making a lot of noise about the conflict between Israel and Hamas. In fact, the president of Turkey just publicly declared that 84 million Turks willcontinue to defend Jerusalem. That is not the sort of statement that you would make if you are hoping to calm things down. Of course Iranian officials continue to hurl hateful words at Israel, and those two nations have been on the brink of war for quite some time. Eventually, war between Israel and Iran is coming, but hopefully that day can be put off for as long as possible. Because when it does finally arrive, it will be a truly horrific conflict. The fighting that we are already witnessing between Israel and Hamas is certainly horrible enough, and officials all over the globe are crying out for peace. In recent days, Israel has been endlessly criticized by corporate media outlets for the death and destruction that has happened in Gaza, but the truth is that the IDF hasbeen far more kind and far more gentle than I would have been. Most of the time, before the IDF destroys a building that terrorists have been using, it sends a warning first so that everyone can safely evacuate. The following is justone example The Israeli military has struck a six-story building in Gaza with a roof-knock bomb, indicating that Israeli forces intend to demolish the structure. It is not immediately clear why the structure, al-Muhannad Tower, has been targeted by the Israel Defense Forces. Israel says it targets buildings used by Hamas or otherGaza terror groups. Who else in the world does such a thing? If I was conducting a war, I certainly wouldnt give my enemies advance warning before I hit a target. The IDF has gone to extreme lengths to minimize civilian casualties, and yet we have seen an explosion of anti-Semitism all over the globe in recent days. In London, someof the language being used by anti-Semitic protesters is beyond sickening People have been filmed driving through London in a convoy of cars shouting anti-Semitic obscenities. One of the passengers yelled **** the Jews, rape their daughters through a loudspeaker as they drove through residential areas. Video was filmed in Finchley Road, St Johns Wood, near a Jewish Community center, with the man claiming We have to send a message. Sadly, we saw crazed pro-Palestinian protesters gather in major cities all over the western world this weekend, and that included major U.S. cities such as Chicago and NewYork. I have never seen as much anti-Semitism around the globe as I am seeing right now, and that is truly, truly frightening. Even a CNN contributor was caught making a very hateful statement that should have been unthinkable for someone in his position to ever utter. Our world is so full of hate, and now a war in the Middle East has erupted. These are very dark times, and a lot more death and destruction is on the horizon. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quartet Flirting with Rupture Terry James - https://www.raptureready.com/category/nearing-midnight/ Our title for this commentary could have just as easily been something like Quartet Sips on Poison. Either title would be appropriate. This is because the powers thatbe in world geopolitics are involved in tampering with things that are guaranteed to injure them and the entire world of nation-states. This we know from the very Word of God, who does not slumber or sleep when it comes to His chosen nation, Israel: The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of manwithin him. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burdenthemselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. (Zechariah 12:13) This should be no surprise to Bible prophecy students. Israel is the key to understanding the lateness of the hour, as has been pointed out many times. Many who study from the pre-Trib perspective of prophecy believe that the rebirth of Israel (often represented as the fig tree) on May 14, 1948, unleashed the prophecy Jesusgave as recorded in the book of Matthew. Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. (Matthew 24: 3234) If this prophecy is indeed about the reforming of Israel in 1948 for the wind-up of this Age of Grace (Church Age), then we are very late into that prophecy. There shouldbe some proof when observing our times and season, if there is any validity to this proposition by those who hold to this scriptural passage as relating to this generation. I believe we might just be witness to that prophecy proving just how late we are into the final stage of human history immediately preceding Christs call to His Churchin the Rapture, based upon the world beginning in earnest to burden itself with Gods chosen nation. In this regard, I refer to the large power bloc that represents the nation-state epicenter of global influencethe so-called Quartet. This group has designated themselvesas the nucleus of geopolitical power. Theyre making known that they intend to assert that power by doing some heavy lifting in making Gods chosen nation-state comply with their version of how things ought to be. The following illustrates this assertion ofthis groups powerful influence in the matter of Israel and its blood-vowed enemies. Canada and the Middle East Quartet (the United Nations, United States, European Union and Russia) condemned on Sunday the violence that took place on the Temple Mount inJerusalem, and called on Israel to halt eviction plans for Palestinian families from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood as violence rises in the countrys capital. The EU and the US also issued a statement against the violence and the pending Sheikh Jarrah evictions, as did Jordan, Turkey, Qatar, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates andBahrain. Individual European countries, as well as South African, have spoken out as well Tensions were heightened as thousands of Muslim worshippers flocked to the Temple Mount al-Haram al Sharif in Arabic to pray there on Islams holy night of Laylat al-Qadr(Night of Power). Further violence is expected on Sunday night as Israelis celebrate Jerusalem Day, which marks the day that the IDF captured the eastern part of the city from Jordan duringthe Six Day WarThe Quartet also issued a joint statement. While it has [been] largely dormant during the final years of the Trump administration, it has since been revived now that US President Joe Biden is in office. The Envoys express deep concern over the daily clashes and violence in east Jerusalem, in particular last nights confrontations between Palestinians and Israeli securityforces at Haram Al-Sharif/Temple Mount, the Quartet stated We call upon [the] Israeli authorities to exercise restraint and to avoid measures that would further escalate the situation during this period of Muslim Holy Days, theQuartet stated. We call on all sides to uphold and respect the status quo at the holy sites. All leaders have a responsibility to act against extremists and to speak out against all actsof violence and incitement. (Canada, Quartet Slam Jerusalem Violence, Intl Pressure Grows on Israel, by Tovah Lazaroff, Jerusalem Post, May 9, 2021) If Gods Word is trueand it isthen we should witness the ramping up of this global power against this nation, chosen by God as a prototype nation in His dealing with allof his creation called man. Satan fuels the hatred that is scheduled to developalready is developingto energize the human powers and principalities as they sip from that trembling cup and try to lift that burdensome stone the prophet Zechariah was directedto foretell. It all means that our redemption is drawing very near indeed! (Luke 21: 28) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How the media aids the terrorist strategy Bill Wilson www.dailyjot.com It is amazing the hateful, bigoted comments directed at Jews these days. It seems as though they are coming from the very people who promote slogans like, Hate doesntlive here. The rhetoric has escalated in recent days as Israel has defended itself from terrorist attacks originating in Gaza. These comments reflect the terrorists strategy of interweaving their operations among civilian organizations and the news mediaso that when retaliation for their attacks commences, innocents are harmed or killed. Then, instead of blaming terrorists, there is international outrage about how the poor Palestinians are being murdered by evil Israelis. The evil actions of the terroristsare then essentially justified. The terrorists hit the jackpot of their strategy when Israel flattened the building that housed Associated Press, al Jazeera and other news reporting organizations. On cue,the media is shaping the narrative that the terrible Israelis bombed the building and journalists were running for their lives because of it. Al Jazeera called the action a war crime and called on the international community to condemn such barbaric actionsand targeting of journalists and demanded that Israel be held accountable for deliberately targeting journalists and media institutions. APs story claimed total innocence of any knowledge that the building was used as a headquarters for terrorist organizationslike Hamas and Islamic Jihad. AP President and CEO Gary Pruitt said in a statement: For 15 years, the APs top-floor office and roof terrace were a prime location for covering Israels conflicts withGazas Hamas rulers, including wars in 2009, 2012 and 2014. The news agencys camera offered 24-hour live shots as militants rockets arched toward Israel and Israeli airstrikes hammered the city and its surrounding area this week. We have had no indicationHamas was in the building or active in the building. This is something we actively check to the best of our ability. We would never knowingly put our journalists at risk. Pruitt said AP was shocked and horrified that the Israeli military would target anddestroy the building housing APs bureau and other news organizations in Gaza. The stories ignore Israels exhaustive efforts warning occupants prior to bombing the building. APs and Al Jazeeras responses condemning Israel for the bombing rather than Hamas for using media as a shield doesnt meet the straight face test. Journalists coveringthese terrorists cannot reasonably claim they didnt know terrorists were headquartered in the same building. That the media are sharing quarters with Hamas explains the anti-Israel news bias emanating from these news outlets. These terrorists are evil. Theyuse children, women, journalists, whoever, to hide behind while they do their evil deeds. And when someone gets hurt, there is an international outcry while the terrorists get little criticism from the media. Isaiah 5:20 says, Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil. That includes the media. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ KeepPraying By Hal Lindsey As of this writing, the violence in Israel continues to rage. Hamas has rained thousands of missiles on Israel. They dont just fire those missilesat military targets, but at civilian population centers. Their indiscriminate missile barrage is not a tactic of modern war, but of old-fashioned terrorism. Meanwhile, they condemn Israel because it responds with precision attacks on military targets. The Israeli Defense Forces warn occupants of buildingsbefore the attacks begin. The Israeli military has made mistakes, and civilians have been killed as a result. But the intent on both sides is obvious. Hamas wants to kill all Jews. Israel wants to degrade Hamass ability to kill. Most of the worlds nations have made statements in support of Israels right to defend itself. But most of the worlds media seems to be siding withthe terrorists. On May 15th,the Israeli Air Force destroyed a building in Gaza known to be a center of operations for the Hamas military. They gave everyone in the building a heads up about an hour before the airstrike. The building was taken down with extreme precision, as if done bya demolition crew taking it straight down to minimize collateral damage. No one was killed. No one was even injured. But because the building also housed the Gaza offices of the Associated Press and Al Jazeera, the worlds media elites were incensed. Reporters working in conflict zones have a dangerous and difficult job. It is also an important job. To the extent that they stay fair, they give useyes and ears in places few of us would want to be in person. But if one of their buildings is used to shelter the enemy, that building ceases to be neutral and becomes fair game. On May 17th,US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that he asked Israel for evidence that the AP building housed Hamas. Maybe he should talk to US intelligence sources. Better yet, maybe he should read an article written for The Atlantic byformer AP reporter Matti Friedman. After Hamas and Israel fought in 2014, Friedman wrote, Hamas understood that reporters could be intimidated when necessary and that they would notreport the intimidation... The AP staff in Gaza City would witness a rocket launch right beside their office, endangering reporters and other civilians nearby and the AP wouldn't report it, not even in AP articles about Israeli claims that Hamas was launchingrockets from residential areas. The Associated Press has been in that building for 15 years. In 2014, their own reporter wrote that Hamas launched missiles from right beside it.But AP refused to report it. Their own reporter said that Hamas used intimidation to affect APs coverage. The Associated Press knew that bias through intimidation had been introduced in their Hamas coverage, but they would not allow their reporters to sayso. Secretary Blinken is right when he says that we need independent journalists reporting from conflict zones. But we do not need news organizations thatallow intimidation to bias their reporters coverage. If the AP altered its stories because their reporters were being intimidated, that reporting was worse than no reporting at all. War is horrible. But on those rare occasions when Palestinian leaders allow their citizens to vote, they vote for terrorists. They choose the kind ofmen who put military installations in schools, hospitals, mosques, and in the center of civilian residential areas. They do this knowing that Israel will be held accountable for civilian deaths, and that they the men who put those civilians at risk willnot be held to account, except by the Israeli military. A few weeks ago, as all this was starting, I encouraged Christians to heed Psalm 122:6, and Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Dont stop now. Theseare crucial hours and days. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why does Hamas insist Israel-Gaza ceasefire include Jerusalem? Khaled Abu Toameh - https://www.jpost.com/arab-israeli-conflict/why-does-hamas-insist-israel-gaza-ceasefire-include-jerusalem-analysis-668449 Hamass insistence on including the issue of Jerusalem in any ceasefire deal with Israel is the main reason why efforts to end the fighting have thus far been unsuccessful. Hamas started the fighting because of Jerusalem and cannot afford to end it without an agreement that includes the city. Hamas needs to show the Palestinians that its attacks on Israel, which it refers to as Sword of Jerusalem, were not in vain and that it managed to force Israel to makeconcessions to the Palestinians on issues related to the city, particularly al-Aqsa Mosque and the controversy surrounding the planned eviction of Arab families from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood. As far as Hamas is concerned, any ceasefire agreement that ignores Jerusalem will make it appear as if the Gaza-based terrorist group did not score any significant achievementas a result of the fighting with Israel. Hamas wants to appear as the defender of Jerusalem and its Palestinian residents and holy sites. Thats why Hamas last week initiated the rocket attacks on Jerusalem. Any ceasefire deal that mentions Jerusalem, on the other hand, will be seen by Hamas and other Palestinians as a major victory. If that happens, Hamas will score pointswith the Palestinians for having forced Israel, for example, to halt the eviction of the families from Sheikh Jarrah or end visits by Jews to the Aqsa Mosque compound on the Temple Mount. Hamas leaders said in the past few days that their conditions for agreeing to a ceasefire with Israel include a withdrawal of the occupation from the blessed al-AqsaMosque, ensuring freedom of worship for Palestinians [at the site] and halting plans to evict the families from their homes in Sheikh Jarrah. Including Jerusalem in any ceasefire deal will also allow Hamas to show that its actions and policies are not restricted to what happens in the Gaza Strip and that it canimpact events in Jerusalem. Hamas wants to be a major player not only in the Gaza Strip, but also in Jerusalem, the West Bank and even among Israels Arab citizens. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas put the issue of Jerusalem on the table when, in late April, he delayed the Palestinian general elections on the pretext thatIsrael did not allow the vote to take place in Jerusalem. In his announcement, Abbas accused the Israeli government and settlers of waging a violent onslaught against the Palestinians in Jerusalem. He also praised the Palestiniansin the city who allegedly forced the Israel Police to remove its security barriers from the entrance to Damascus Gate. By holding Israel responsible for hindering the Palestinian elections and strongly condemning Israeli practices in Jerusalem, Abbas succeeded in diverting attention fromhis controversial decision. He also succeeded in directing the anger and frustration on the Palestinian street toward Israel. Hamas could not afford a situation where Abbas and his ruling Fatah faction appear to be the only Palestinians who care about al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Jarrah and Jerusalem. Thats why Hamas swooped in and hijacked the protests that erupted in Jerusalem between Palestinians and the Israel Police, turning them into rallies in support of the Gaza-basedgroup and its leaders. Photos of Hamas leaders and flags have become part of the scenery in some areas of east Jerusalem, including the Aqsa Mosque compound. Hamas is now hoping to reap the fruits of its rocket attacks on Israel by making Jerusalem the main theme of any ceasefire. Such a deal would allow Hamas to claim that it was worth sacrificing the lives of hundreds of Palestinians for the sake of defending Islams third-holiest site and preventingIsrael from carrying out its purported scheme to Judaize Jerusalem and control al-Aqsa Mosque. Accordingly, any concessions to Hamas on the issue of Jerusalem would be bad not only for Israel, but also for Abbas, for Jordan and for other Arab countries that do notwish to see the Islamist group throw its weight around in the city or be part of any arrangements at al-Aqsa Mosque. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keep Praying for the peace of Jerusalem- By Hal Lindsey - https://www.hallindsey.com As of this writing, the violence in Israel continues to rage. These are crucial hours anddays. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Biden Begins the Pressure Campaign Against Israel Daniel Greenfield - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=4734 Terrorists have only one thing to offer. It's right there in the name. The business model of terrorism is killing people and then demanding a payoff. The game always works the same way. The terrorists attack, their targets fight back, and athird party sends in the diplomats to negotiate on behalf of the terrorists before they get hit too hard. The Islamic terrorist war against Israel has worked exactly this way for generations. Like a radio pop song that plays every time you go into a supermarket, you know the next verse and can feel the next beat before it even kicks in, no matter how much youhate the music. It's the same way with the regular mini-wars that begin with a manufactured political provocation that can be blamed on Israel (this time a court ruling evicting illegalMuslim colonists occupying homes seized during the '48 ethnic cleansing of Jews from Jerusalem), followed by terrorist violence with the usual pattern of attack and escalation. Hamas and a few of its allies shell Israeli towns and cities using the latest Iranian technology and some of their own cruder models. Israel responds by calculatedly takingout terrorist compounds which Hamas has, with equal calculation, filled with civilian human shields. Especially children. Politicians, the media and social media rush to attack Israel, vastly inflating the already inflated casualty figures put out by the terrorists, lying about the nature ofthe conflict and doing their best to mainstream antisemitism a little more. The Biden administration makes a few public statements vaguely supporting Israel's right to defend itself--an absurd point--and sends in mediators to negotiate the payofffor the terrorists. Israel had a brief break from America acting as the paymaster and bagman for the terrorists. It was a refreshing pause, especially for all the children who didn't get bombed, the homes that didn't have rockets smash through their roofs and the soldiers who didn'tget shot just so that State Department negotiators could tell Israel the current going rate for ending the attacks. Islamic terrorists aren't crazy or irrational. The average suicide bomber might be, but their leadership doesn't do anything without a profit motive. The profits for Islamic terrorism against Israel come in two ways. First, the terrorists are backed by Iran, Qatar, Turkey and the rest of the Islamist gang to carry out attacks on Israel. Second, the terrorists are rewarded by the UnitedStates, Europe, and Israel for ending the attacks. This never leads to peace because if you keep rewarding terrorists for ending the violence, you're also telling them that if they do it all over again, they'll profit fromthe violence. Paying the terrorists not to attack you is really the same thing as paying them to attack you. But the essence of the peace game is obliviousness. That means believing that there are root causes that can resolve the underlying grievances. The root cause is the existenceof Israel. The terrorists want to destroy Israel: Israel doesn't want to be destroyed. And the negotiators came up with a compromise which satisfies no one: a two-state solution that will only destroy a part of Israel. The solution, which has solved nothingand will solve nothing, incrementally destroys parts of Israel by handing them over to the terrorists. The amount of Israel being destroyed through this process has kept increasing ever since the original fake peace deal was celebrated by Bill Clinton, Yasser Arafat and YitzchakRabin at the White House. Every exchange of fire leads to a push for a new peace "compromise" that will destroy even more of Israel by handing more territory over to the terrorists. Since this process provides the terrorists with zero incentive to stop the violence, it failed. The Trump administration overturned conventional wisdom by recognizing that the terrorists, who had repeatedly rejected and sabotaged peace negotiations for two generations, not the Israelis, who had shown up for every bad faith attempt at negotiations, were the problem. Instead of taking away territory from Israel and giving it to the terrorists, President Trump began recognizing Israeli claims to parts of Israel, while cutting off moneyand political support from the terrorists. The terrorists didn't turn pacifist--but they turned down the violence, because they understood that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, unlike Kerry, wouldn't be bailing them out. They just waited, while Kerry privately assured the terrorists Trump would soon be gone. The Biden administration is going back to the same old policies of propping up the terrorists. And the first thing you need to do when propping up the terrorists is givingthem some leverage. The leverage of terrorists is terrorism. Rebooting the old negotiating process requires a war. And so the Biden administration turned on the money tap to the terrorists and their Iranian sponsors. It made it clearthat Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the anti-Iran coalition linked to the Abraham Accords were out of style in D.C. Biden also appointed Hady Amr, a veteran of Qatar's Brookings operation, a state backer of Hamas, as his "point man" on the "Israeli-Palestinian conflict," which had beenlow on conflict. At least until Biden got started. Amr, a Lebanese anti-Israel activist, had made no secret of his raving hatred for Israel and support for the terrorists. "I was inspired by the Palestinian intifada," Amr had declared during his time as an anti-Israel activist. "I have news for every Israeli," he ranted in one column written after Sheikh Salah Shahada, the head of Hamas's Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, was taken out by an Israeliair strike. Arabs "now have televisions, and they will never, never forget what the Israeli people, the Israeli military and Israeli democracy have done to Palestinian children. Andthere will be thousands who will seek to avenge these brutal murders of innocents." These days, Amr is the one doing the avenging for Israel's attacks on Hamas. Amr has repeatedly argued for a deal with Hamas. In 2019, he co-wrote an article arguing that Hamas should offer Israel a cease-fire with the PLO acting as a broker forthe deal in exchange for Israel "offering a significant move on Israeli-Palestinian peace." That's diplo-mafia-speak for appeasing the terrorists with more territory that they can use to launch attacks on Israel. But you can't have a ceasefire until you first have a war. That's the war now raging. It's the familiar model already embraced by terrorist organizations, who pretend that their political and military wings are separate organizations. The Biden administration policy is for the PLO to play the political wing to Hamas's military wing. Hamas starts wars, and the PLO collects territory and concessions tostop the fighting, while disclaiming any responsibility for the violence. And the Biden administration oversees this terrorist shakedown by insisting that Israel make more concessions for "peace." Diplomats and experts go around making the same false promises that Israeli appeasement of the PLO will discredit Hamas and make it possible for Israelis and the terroristskilling them to live in peace. The purpose of this political strategy is to isolate Israel, creating a system that profits from terrorism while maintaining enough plausible deniability to keep a fakepeace process going. Generations of this horror show have not been enough to discredit it. Not to the diplomats who keep pushing this big lie, and not to American Jews who when faced with achoice between blaming Israel and the politicians they support, always choose to blame Israel. Biden is rebooting the same old scam after stocking his administration with appointees like Amr who have made no secret of their hatred for the Jewish state. Biden's Senior Director for Intelligence on the National Security Council, Maher Bitar, was pictured dancing in a keffiyeh in front of a banner reading, "Divest from IsraelApartheid." Reema Dodin, Biden's Deputy White House Legislative Director, had argued that, "suicide bombers were the last resort of a desperate people." Sarah Margon, Biden's Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, had advocated for boycotts of Israel and cheered a proposal to destroy the Jewishstate. The Obama administration stocked its foreign policy team with Iran Firsters, while the Biden administration has gone even further with a roster of Hamas Firsters. The Biden administration seeks to blame Israel for a conflict for which it provided a profit motive. The fighting in Israel commenced after the Biden administration sent the signal that it was resuming its support for the terrorists. The violence is a prelude to the negotiations. And Biden's people have already laid out their plans for getting Israel to pay off the terrorists. All the terrorists had to do was attack Israel and wait for Biden's team to do their dirty work for them. The Biden administration wanted a war in Israel. It needed to blame Israel for that war. And now it got everything it wanted. The next stage is the pressure campaign againstIsrael tying together domestic anti-Israel lobbies like J Street and the radical left like AOC and Warren, to pressure American Jewish organizations to drop their already weak support for the Jewish state. And then, having isolated Israel, they'll move infor the kill with their big pitch for a terror state. All of this is bad for Israel, but it's also terrible for America. Everything that the Biden administration's team of terrorist sympathizers is doing to Israel, they also intend to do to America. If you think gas prices are bad now, waituntil Iran really starts throwing its weight around. And while Biden's people are insisting that the only real terrorist threat is domestic, while dismantling our counterterrorism system, the jihad will come. Al Qaeda built up its networks into a massive international killing machine on Clinton's watch, and Islamic State grew into a state power while Obama was building up theArab Spring. We don't know what terrorist nightmares Biden will breed, but they are likely to be worse than either one. Israelis are in bomb shelters now, but after a few years of Biden, Americans might be there, too. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The clear and present evil of Palestinian politics Bill Wilson www.dailyjot.com The goal of the international community is for Israel and Palestinians to live side by side in peace. Since the expulsion of Israelis from Gaza in 2005, this goal is notattainable because there isnt a national Palestine. Political Palestine is comprised of criminal terrorists ruling over underserved Arabs who live in the areain this case Gaza. Shortly after the Israelis quit Gaza, Hamas, the terrorist group, surfacedin roles as terrorists, political party, and opposition to another representative of a terrorist organization Mahmoud Abbas, Palestinian Liberation Organization chairman, who is also president of the Palestinian National Authority and Chairman of Fatah, therival political party to Hamas. Complicated? In the first election of Gaza, Hamas terrorists were elected as majority representatives of the people, which shows the true colors of any eventual Palestinian state. AaronFruh, President of Israel Team Advocates International, an organization dedicated to countering misinformation about Israel, has studied the terrorist underpinnings of Gaza. He told The Daily Jot that the original charter of Hamas adopted in 1988 states: Israelwill exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before itPalestine is an Islamic landsince this is the case, the liberation of Palestine is an individual duty for every Moslem wherever he may beThe Dayof Judgment will not come about until Moslems fight Jews and kill them. Fruh went on to confirm that the Hamas mission is to establish an Islamic Caliphate in Israel between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River. For this dream to be realizedIsrael and every Jew within its borders must be ethnically cleansed (murdered). Hamas co-founder Sheikh Hassan Yousef, had two sons defect from the terrorist organization. The eldest son, Mosab, says the Palestinian Authority is the greatest enemy of the Palestinianpeople. In a 2020 article he penned about the Abrahamic Peace Accords, he wrote: The Palestinian Authority (PA), the Palestinian leadership, has utterly failed the Palestinian people while living lives of luxury, awash in corruption, creating a death cultof martyrdom sacrificing young Palestinian generations. He said without conflict there would be no PA, if the conflict ends, they will end with it. This is the mess on which the international community has pinned its hopes for peace in the Middle East. The US has spent billions upon billions of your tax dollars proppingup these evil people, even paying for image consultants, with the hope of civilizing them with democracy. How do you civilize hate? Yet there are those who latch onto this cause as if anyone who doesnt support the Palestinian movement is subhuman. Nottrue. There is a right and wrong herea clear and present evil. Proverbs 8:13 says, The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. In this age of wokeness, where right is wrong and wrong isright, I think Proverbs 8:13 says it all. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- VISIT: PROPHECY WATCHER WEEKLY NEWS: HTTP://PROPHECY-WATCHER-WEEKLY-NEWS.BLOGSPOT.COM
