One blogger who is a long-time commentator on geopolitics as theymight relate to Bible prophecy believes that Russian President Vladimir Putin plans an assault on Alaska. His thinking is that Russians have long sought to recover Alaska from the time they owned and sold the now American state to the US. Josef Stalin was, he says, set to invadeAlaska, but the action was preempted by the Soviet dictator’s death in 1953. The blog pundit throws in the fact that China also has its sights on taking over America, and that Putin needs to prevent that from taking place, because Russia is planningthe same thing. The blogger’s conspiratorial analysis goes much deeper, but that’s the overall gist of his suspicion—America is on the brink of being taken over by Russia, China, or both. The inept, even seditious, traitorous Biden administration, as he characterizes it, and its deep-state provocateurs are fomenting this attempted takeover by pushing hardat Russian involvement in the threat to Ukraine. He believes the new administration is doing this in order to provoke nuclear conflict. This, somehow, is so that the new, global order they wish to construct can, with the help of China as a sort of partnerin the whole agglomerate matter, leap to world domination. No, I haven’t a clue how China would ever agree to be part of such an amalgamation. Its goal is clearly total world dominion, not partnership in such. And China, like the US Senate’s Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, plays the “long game.” That is, they are extremely patient and will go through the geopolitical gyrationsfor as long as necessary to—in China’s case—achieve global domination. Only if they see there is no longer a pathway to such domination will they then resort to all-out nuclear war. They are threatening militarily around the world—like, for example, their constantly running their air force and navy up to the boundaries surrounding Taiwan. And like theirnonstop intimidation of US and other naval forces in the China Sea and around the globe. But they know which side their bread is buttered on. They couldn’t win a nuclear conflict with America. They’ll never try—this side of the Tribulation era. Same with Russia. They wouldn’t have a chance of winning nuclear all-out conflict with the US. Most all experts who study war agree. All would suffer unacceptable devastationin such a conflict. The threat of nuclear exchanges has existed since the Soviets stole American technology and built their nuclear arsenal. The Cuban missile crisis of October 1962 was theclosest the world has come to such an exchange. Like in every case, avoidance of such world-changing or even world-ending conflict has been held back by the very hand of God. There is no doubt about this to anyone whois a believer and is spiritually attuned to the supernaturally foreknown movement of human history. As a matter of fact, God’s Word outlines precisely the final disposition of both of the nuclear powers which the blogger confidently predicts will soon take over the USin a probable nuclear conflict. Ezekiel the prophet gives us God’s view and His way of dealing with Russia in chapters 38 and 39. The Russian leader, Gog, leads his forces against God’s chosen nation andthey are obliterated except for one-sixth of that force. China is held behind the oriental barrier to the occidental world so far as domination is concerned until they are freed to come across the dried-up Euphrates, as prophesiedin Revelation chapters 9 and 16. This force will be annihilated at Armageddon. God’s restraining hand is in evidence even on the level of this nuclear confrontation matter. Observers were looking to the potential conflict presented by Putin sending troops to the Ukrainian border en masse. They looked poised to invade. President Joe Biden’spoking at the Russian bear, sending airplanes full of tactical nuclear weapons into Ukraine, supposedly, was meant to provoke that nuclear conflict, whereby all the New World Order stuff outlined above would begin to roll out. Of course, I see all of that as not possible—not if Bible prophecy is true. And it is. Even if such were the plans of the globalists and the Chinese leadership, God’s restraininghand would never allow it—again, according to Bible prophecy. We again see a stepping down from the nuclear brink in the following excerpt. After weeks of tension over a build-up of Russian troops close to Ukraine’s border, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shogun has ordered a number of units in the area backto their bases… Russia said all along that these were nothing more than military exercises. But Moscow knew very well that its troop movements close to Ukraine and in annexed Crimea were making a lot of people very nervous: in Ukraine, Europe and in America. And that was the point. Moscow may well have been using the build-up of troops to send a signal to Kyiv, Brussels and, especially, to Washington that Russia is a force to be reckoned with. The kings of the east will almost certainly use nuclear weaponry to kill one-third of the world’spopulation. Nuclear exchanges are inevitable during the Tribulation. No weapon ever invented by the fallen minds of mankind has ever been withheld in the murderous wars of history. The Christian of this Church Age (Age of Grace) needs not fear suffering through that time of such horrors. Believe in Jesus today and be kept from that terrible hour ofevil. The deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), is ostensibly aimed at preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Under the JCPOA, Iran agreed toeliminate its stockpile of medium-enriched uranium, cut its stockpile of low-enriched uranium by 98%, and reduce by about two-thirds the number of uranium gas centrifuges for 13 years. After the deal expires in a few years, however, Iran may build as manynuclear weapons as it wants. In that sense, the JCPOA deal was a runway to a full-blown nuclear weapons program. On May 8, 2019, Trump announced the US withdrawal from the JCPOA, which Iran had been secretly violating, and Iran has been repeatedly violating the terms of the accordever since. The Iranians appear optimistic that the talks will bring the US back to the deal, saying a "new understanding" seems to be taking shape. "We think that the talks have reached a stage where parties are able to begin to work on a joint draft," Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Iran's statetelevision. "It seems that a new understanding is taking shape, and now there is agreement over final goals." Arab columnists and political analysts who have been following the present negotiations in Vienna are convinced that Iran is once again poised to play the internationalcommunity for fools. They warned the US and the other world powers against repeating the mistake of the past by falling for the Iranian ploy. "History is repeating itself," wrote Saudi writer and researcher Abdullah bin Bajad Al-Otibi. "Those who commit the same mistakes and expect different results are deceivingthemselves." Al-Otibi described the 2015 Iran nuclear as an utter failure. "Regardless of the results of the Vienna talks, they will repeat the same mistake," he remarked. "One of the most important reasons for the failure of the previous agreement was that it excluded the Arab Gulf states completely. Today, the same mistake is being repeated.The result will certainly not be different." The Saudi writer pointed out that the Gulf states' demand to participate in the Vienna talks was ignored by the world powers. "The exclusion of the Gulf states confirmsthat the talks are aimed at reviving a dead agreement," Otibi argued. "The Western appeasement of Iran has reached new heights and the Iranian regime is exploiting that with some bravado." According to Otibi, one of the "sins" of the previous nuclear deal was that it did not clearly address two main issues: "First, the agreement did not address the Iranian regime's ambitions of hegemony and its blatant interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries through direct andsemi-direct occupation in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen. That is why Iran's evilness increased after that failed agreement, until a US administration that was tougher with Iran arrived. "Second, the previous nuclear agreement did not address Iran's ballistic missiles that were threatening the Gulf states, and that was a major reason for the failure of thatagreement. Iran today is targeting Saudi oil and global energy supplies, as well as civilians, as the world is watching." Otibi warned that the world will quickly discover that once some sanctions against Iran are lifted, Iranian-sponsored terrorism will continue and "many will pay the priceof inaction." Syrian writer Bahaa Al-Alawam warned that the Vienna talks were not taking into consideration the interests and legitimate concerns of the Arab countries. Al-Alawam pointed out that Israel was aware of Iran's continuous violations of the nuclear deal: "The Israelis explained the danger [of Iran's intentions] before the talks [in Vienna]... When they found that the Americans and Europeans were ignoring their concerns,they decided to expose the falsity of what is happening in Vienna. Iran's nuclear program was never a peaceful one. Those who are negotiating with Iran now care only about their interests." Iran's recent announcement that it has begun enriching uranium to its highest-ever purity (60%), Al-Alawam said, shows that it is moving closer to manufacturing a nuclearbomb, posing a threat to the security of the region and the world. "The Europeans and Americans are closing their eyes to this threat," he added. "They insist that preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons is sufficient to convert it to the Switzerland of the Middle East, or guaranteeing the democratization ofthe mullah's regime in Tehran. Because of the Western apathy, the countries of the region do not expect much from the Vienna negotiations, and if they are thinking about their independent options to deal with the Iranian threat to them, this is a legitimatematter and no one has the right to object. All the concessions that the Western powers intend to make to Tehran do not bind anyone in the Middle East, and cannot force Israel or the Arab countries to respect the outcome of the talks in Vienna, especially ifthese negotiations increase the danger of the Tehran regime to stability and security." Echoing these concerns, former Jordanian Minister of Information and Culture Saleh Al-Kallab said he did not expect Iran to stop meddling in the internal affairs of theArab countries: "The truth is that there is a political, military, security and economic Iranian occupation of four Arab countries � Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen... It is clear that ifthe US restores its relations with Tehran, the mullahs will become the main decision-makers in the Middle East. The Arabs will not regain their unity unless the Iranians and their followers are expelled from Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen." The talks in Vienna coincided with a campaign by many Lebanese calling for severing diplomatic relations between Iran and Lebanon. Last week, dozens of Lebanese activists staged a protest outside the offices of the Lebanese Foreign Ministry in Beirut during which they demanded that their governmentexpel the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon and cut off diplomatic relations with Iran. The protesters shouted slogans calling for ending Iran's occupation of Lebanon and disarming Iran's proxy militia, the Hezbollah terrorist group. This campaign, like the views expressed by several Arab political analysts and columnists, is aimed at sending a message to those who are currently negotiating with Iranthat the Arabs trust the mullahs in Tehran about as far as they can throw them. This message, directed mainly at the Biden administration, accuses the West of ignoring Iran's ongoing occupation and terrorism in the Arab countries.
