BIDEN WATCH: 2.4.23 - The Great Depression In 1932

The sound of the electric vehicle backfire - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com Like so many things the Biden Administration has done, its theory that electric vehicles are cheaper to operate ran out of juice as prices at the pump stabilized last quarter. Now, according to a study by the Anderson Economic Group, internal combustion Engine cars are once again more economical to fuel than their Electric Vehicle counterparts. This is the first time in 18 months. The Biden plan to drive up oil prices so peoplewould buy electric cars had a major flaw—raising fuel prices also raises the cost of producing electricity—and everything else for that matter. Biden was betting on electric vehicles at the expense of every household budget in the United States as inflationwent out of control for fuel, food, and other consumer products. One only has to follow the money to see why. When you look at the big picture, Biden and his band of World Economic Forum (WEF) corporations, media and government hacks have a plan—redistribute wealth and get rich allin the name of saving the planet. Biden’s Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said higher gas prices were a compelling case for buying electric cars, “If you filled up your EV (electric vehicle) and you filled up your gas tank with gasoline, you would save$60 per fill-up by going electric rather than using gasoline but it’s a very compelling case.” Granholm also admitted that she had recently served as director of an electric car company and held millions in the firm’s stock. See how this works? Buying an electric vehicle might make you feel good that you upped your social credit score, but it won’t be good for your pocketbook. The Daily Jot compared the cost recoveryon a 2022 Ford Escape Hybrid getting 41 miles to the gallon with a 15 mile-per-gallon Ford F-150 driving 1,500 miles per month. According to Edmunds.com Car Cost vs Mileage Calculator, it would take 174 months (14.5 years) at $2.79 cents a gallon before anysavings would even begin on the Hybrid. Even at $5 a gallon gas it will take 8 years to begin saving money. But that Ford Escape won’t last that long. By the 6-year mark, the 100,000 mile warranty on the battery will have expired and it will cost another $15,000to $20,000 to replace it. The WEF, which is driving the conversion to all things electric, accomplishes two of its goals in forcing conversion to electric vehicles: 1) wealth redistribution to itssupporters at the expense of the average citizen, and 2) the off-on switch that can control where, when and how far people can travel. In a petro-powered vehicle, a backfire is caused by some form of resistance limiting the functions of the intake and exhaustvalves in the engine. The socialist wealth redistribution plan with electric vehicles can also backfire with resistance—both economically from the gas and oil business and from you in not buying into the electric vehicle propaganda. There’s a Biblical principlein play as is said in James 4:7, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” Just saying. -------------------------------------- We Just Witnessed An Economic Sign That Hasnt Happened Since The Peak Of The Great Depression In 1932 - by Michael Snyder - http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/we-just-witnessed-an-economic-sign-that-hasnt-happened-since-the-peak-of-the-great-depression-in-1932/ Economic conditions are much worse than you are being told. Throughout the past year, prices have been rising much faster than most of our incomes have. As a result, our standardof living has been rapidly declining. It has become increasingly difficult for U.S. households to make it from month to month, and as you will see below, more than a third of all U.S. adults are actually relying on their parents to pay at least some of theirbills at this point. But even more alarming is what has been happening to real disposable income. According to Fox Business, the most recent GDP report revealed that the decline in real disposable income that we witnessed in 2022 was the largest that has beenmeasured since 1932 The most troubling information in the GDP report is the precipitous drop in real disposable income, which fell over $1 trillion in 2022. For context, this is the second-largestpercentage drop in real disposable income ever, behind only 1932, the worst year of the Great Depression. Just think about that for a moment. The last time real disposable income declined this quickly was literally during the peak of the Great Depression. And as our incomes get squeezed tighter and tighter, more Americans are starting to fall behind on their bills. For example, the proportion of subprime auto borrowers that are at least 60 days behind on their payments has just surged to the highest level that we have seen since 2008 In December, the percentage of subprime auto borrowers who were at least 60 days late on their bills climbed to 5.67% a major increase from a seven-year low of 2.58% inApril 2021, according to Fitch Ratings. It marks the steepest rate of Americans struggling to make their car payments since the 2008 financial crisis. We are already beginning to witness the largest tsunami of repossessions that we have seen since the Great Recession, and it is only going to get worse in the months ahead. One woman in San Antonio that knows that her vehicle could be repossessed at any time has decided that hiding it is the best strategy for now For some, however, the only lesson is to try and outsmart the repo man: hardly the best long-term strategy. Take San Antonio native Zhea Zarecor who is currently trying tonegotiate with her lender so her 2013 Honda Fit wont get repossessed. In the meantime, shes hiding it. The 53-year-old, who is currently in school for her bachelors in information technology (and raking up massive student loans for an education she should have had some 35years ago) splits the monthly bill for the car about $178 with her roommate. But then the roommate lost his job, and with prices for groceries and everyday items increasing, there just wasnt enough for the car payments. Zarecor is trying to make extra money with odd jobs like contract secretarial work and participation in medical studies, but it often feels hopeless, she said. Our moneydoesnt go as far as it used to, she said. I dont see prices going down, so the only relief I see is when I get my degree. Sadly, most of the country is just barely scraping by at this juncture. As I discussed in a previous article, one recent survey discovered that 57 percent of Americans cannot even afford to pay a $1,000 emergency expense right now. And a different survey has found that a whopping 35 percent of all U.S. adults are still relying on Mom and Dad to pay at least some of the bills More than one third of adults (35%) admit they still have at least one bill on their parents tab. According to a new poll of 2,000 Americans, the top three expenses theirparents still pay for are rent (19%), groceries (19%), and utilities (16%). In fact, almost one-quarter (24%) of millennials say their parents cover their rent. Are things really this bad? Unfortunately, economic conditions are only going to get even worse in the months ahead as countless more Americans lose their jobs. On Monday, I was quite saddened to learn that electronics giant Philips will be giving the axe to another 6,000 workers Philips announced Monday that its cutting another 6,000 jobs worldwide as it works to boost profitability. The workforce reduction will occur over the next two years with the first 3,000 cuts taking place this year, the Dutch consumer electronics and medical equipment maker saidon Monday. In its earnings report, the company revealed it suffered a net loss of 1.6 billion euros in 2022, which is down from a net profit of 3.3 billion euros last year. And it is also being reported that one of my favorite toymakers has decided to eliminate approximately 15% of its global full-time workforce. I could go on and on if you would like. In fact, every day I could fill up my articles with nothing but job loss announcements. We have entered a very painful economic downturn, and one prominent Wall Street economist is warning that the full impact of this crisis will not be felt until the secondhalf of 2023 According to one Wall Street economist, a looming recession this year will feel more like the 1970s than a 2008-07 slump. People are too focused on 08 and 2020. This is more like 1973, 74 and 2021, Piper Sandler chief global economist Nancy Lazar said on Mornings with Maria Monday. Lazar predicted feeling the full impact of a recession in the second half of 2023 as lag effects from the Federal Reserves rate hikes take hold. Actually, it would be quite wonderful if her seemingly gloomy forecast is accurate. Because I dont believe that we are heading into a slowdown like we experienced during the early 1970s. Rather, I see all sorts of evidence that indicates that we are in the very early stages of the economic equivalent of the Big One. I believe that things will be very rough this year, and I believe that the long-term outlook is even worse. Our leaders assured us that everything would be okay even as they were flooding the system with money and engaging in the greatest debt binge in all of human history. Now a day of reckoning has arrived, and we will get to suffer the consequences of their very foolish decisions. -------------------------- The Howard Dean scream - Bill Wilson www.dailyjot.com Its like a voice from the deep dark past of the annals of political history. Former Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean is back in the news. In 2005, Dean continuouslypounded George W. Bush, Republicans and white Christians for not defending or protecting America. Of course, that was during the war on terror, translated Islamic aggression. Dean parroted the very same propaganda, almost word for word, that al QaedasOsama bin Laden and Irans president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad put before the American people in videos and letters. Dean also promoted communitarianism, a form of communism where its ok to worship God so long as God doesnt supplant the state. Now Deans atit again. Dean claimed Tuesday on MSNBCs The Beat with Ari Melber that some Republicans meant the country harm, saying, These people are essentially authoritarians. They willsay whatever it takes. Theyre not that different from Putin. And they like Putin. These are dangerous people.,,there are people in that Congress who mean America harmHaving these people on television, I mean, you can have them on once in a while, but I wouldntgive them much of a platform because they mean evil for the country. So Dean is saying that Republicans want to do the country harm, they are authoritarians, and that the news media shouldnt give them a platform because they mean evil for the country. He accused the media of allowing these authoritarian Republicans to repeat lies until people begin to believe them and now we have to resist. Melber, instead of challengingsome of Deans shrill and unfounded remarks, was shown on camera doing a perfect invitation of a bobblehead on a Vermont country backroad. When Dean speaks of good and evil, he is invoking the principle of God. He says the Republicans mean evil for America.Yet his very belief in supporting the killing of the unborn, sexual predators disguised as anti-bully advocates in the public schools, and his past stances of taking God out of the public square, and religious censorship are all evils counter to the Word ofGod. And, quite frankly, how is Howard Dean even relevant as a remotely credible expert on good and evil? Yes, there are good and bad Republicans. But which party identifies closest to the principles of God? And which party most seeks to undermine the precepts of God with itspolicies and actions? Moreover, which party leaders accuse others of doing exactly what these leaders are doing? Herein, Dean is trying to get the news media to censor Republicans because he considers them authoritarians. Yet who has led the censorship of disinformation on many topics of late? COVID, Russian Collusion, influence peddling are all great examples. Romans 2:1 says, For in that which you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, for you, the one judging, do the same things. Dean lost the2004 Democratic primary because of his infamous scream. Hes never stopped screaming with his accusations that are, say it with meStupidocrisy. ------------------------
