WORLD AT WAR: 2.11.23 - Will 2023 Be A Year of Global War?

Will 2023 Be A Year of Global War? China And Russia Are Both Making Mobilization Moves That Are Raising Red Flags- by Michael Snyder - http://endoftheamericandream.com/will-2023-be-a-year-of-global-war-china-and-russia-are-both-making-mobilization-moves-that-are-raising-red-flags/ Why are China and Russia both suddenly so concerned about mobilizing troops? What we are witnessing right now is unlike anything that we have seen since World War II. TheRussians are mobilizing hundreds of thousands of fresh troops as they prepare for a new offensive in Ukraine, and meanwhile NATO countries are getting ready to send heavy tanks to the Ukrainians for the first time since the war started. But why have the Chinesedecided that a nationwide mobilization may soon be necessary? Is China expecting a war? It is being reported that anyone in China that is 18 years or older could potentially be subject to mobilization under a brand new law which will go into effect nextmonth. Youcan find the full text of this new law right here. I translated that page into English so that I could read it, and it definitely sounds like the Chinese are laying the groundwork for a massive nationwide mobilization of youngpeople. But why would they need to do that? Nobody is going to invade China. So why would they be going to war? Needless to say, the answer is obvious. The only reason why China would be involved in a major war is if they decide to invade Taiwan, and that may happen a lot sooner than many of the experts had been anticipating. The moment that an invasion of Taiwan begins, the United States and China will be in a state of war. And that will mean that the flow of goods from China will immediately stop. Most Americans simply do not understand what that would mean. For example, our healthcare industry would instantly be thrown into a state of complete and utter chaos A terrifying percentage of Americas active pharmaceutical ingredients are made in China, according to Republican Senator Tom Cotton. That includes 95% of imports of ibuprofen,70% of acetaminophen and up to 45% of the imported penicillin supply. What would happen if China simply turned that supply off? They could. There are thousands upon thousands of other things that are manufactured in China that Americans use on a daily basis that we wouldnt be able to get anymore. In other words, we would be in a world of hurt. And once Taiwan is under attack, the factories that are located there wouldnt be able to supply us with any more microchips, and that would deeply affect virtually everysingle industry in the entire country Taiwan, the object of Chinas short-term expansion strategy, produces most of the worlds microchips. A Chinese invasion would threaten Americas supply of semiconductors, which are needed to run everything from cars to refrigerators. If China invades Taiwan, it truly will be a nightmare scenario for the entire globe. So our leaders should be doing all they can to find a peaceful solution. But now the Chinese spy balloon saga has our leaders in Washington angrier with the Chinese than ever. Elsewhere, the Russians have already been mobilizing hundreds of thousands of new troops, and it appears that they are poised to make a really big move. The following comesfrom an article posted on Yahoo News entitled Vladimir Putin is about to make shock gains Ukrainian defence minister Oleksii Reznikov says Russia has mobilised much more than 300,000 troops, perhaps up to half a million, and these are pouring into Ukraine inpreparation for what is expected to be a major offensive in the coming days and weeks. Although Kyiv has also been building up its forces and supplying them with modern equipment donated by the West, Putin has a much greater advantage in troop numbers thanhe did when he invaded a year ago. Despite repeated optimistic reports of Russia running low on artillery shells a battle winner in this conflict Putins war stocks are vast, and his factories have been working around the clock to churn out even more. Of course the Russians have already been making gains on a daily basis. After months of telling us that Ukraine is winning, even publications such as the Wall Street Journalare now being forced to admit that the Russians are on the move on five fronts in the eastern Donetsk and Luhansk regions Russian forces launched several attacks in eastern Ukraine, pushing for a breakthrough on the battlefield ahead of the delivery of new Western weapons, although the U.K. castdoubt on the prospects for a major Russian offensive. The General Staff of Ukraines armed forces said Russia was regrouping and attacking on five fronts in the eastern Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as part of a wider offensiveanticipated by Kyiv and its Western allies. If the Russians start gobbling up huge chunks of new territory in Ukraine, there will inevitably be a very strong response from the western powers. And that will bring us even closer to nuclear war. The Russians can see the writing on the wall, and so they are starting to fix up bomb shelters all over the nation Bomb shelters across Russia are undergoing systematic inspections and repairs following a Kremlin order to upgrade the countrys crumbling Soviet-era infrastructure, accordingto current and former officials who spoke to The Moscow Times. Many of Russias thousands of bunkers, reinforced cellars and other safe hideouts have been mothballed for decades. But as the war in Ukraine drags on, local authorities appearto be spending hundreds of millions of rubles to again make them fit for habitation. The Russians have thousands upon thousands of bomb shelters that could be used in the event of a nuclear conflict. So what do we have for our own citizens? Nothing. If you live in a targeted area when the nukes start flying, you will want to say your prayers because your time will be up. Sadly, this entire war with Russia could have been avoided so easily. A tentative peace deal was ready to go last April, but the western powers killed it But the negotiations ultimately failed after more Western pressure. Boris Johnson visited Kyiv in April 2022, urging Zelensky not to negotiate with Russia. According to areport from Ukrainska Pravda, he said even if Ukraine was ready to sign a deal with Russia, Kyivs Western backers were not. Later in April, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said there were some NATO countries that wanted to prolong the war in Ukraine. After the talks in Istanbul, we didnot think that the war would take this long But, following the NATO foreign ministers meeting, it was the impression that there are those within the NATO member states that want the war to continue, let the war continue and Russia gets weaker. They dontcare much about the situation in Ukraine, Cavusoglu said. Now we stand on the brink of the unthinkable, and we are almost out of exit ramps. Thanks to our very foolish leaders, we could soon find ourselves fighting Russia and China simultaneously. Sadly, most Americans have absolutely no idea that we are racing toward oblivion. Most people just assume that our leaders know exactly what they are doing and that they have everything under control. Unfortunately, the truth is that they have no idea what they are doing and I believe that this will become exceedingly clear as 2023 rolls along. ------------------------ A commentary at the Washington Examiner is warning that a Chinese spy balloon being watched as it crosses the United States could be a "dry run" for an EMP attack. An electromagnetic pulse attack would be triggered by a nuclear explosion at altitude. It would disrupt electronics in a massive region, and earlier warnings have said that it could take down America's grid, destroy basic functions like banking and deliveries, and ultimately kill millions. The latest warning is contained in Paul Bedard's Washington Secrets column. "High-altitude balloons, such as the one China has floated over mountain state military bases this week, are considered a key 'delivery platform' for secret nuclear strikes on America's electric grid, according to intelligence officials," he reported. "Spy balloons, used by Japan to drop bombs during World War II, are now far more sophisticated, can fly at up to 200,000 feet, evade detection, and can carry a small nuclear bomb that, if exploded in the atmosphere, would shut down the grid and wipe outelectronics in a many-state-wide area." WND has reported on the threat from EMP for years, as the nation has no effective barrier to such attacks. And even small rogue nations or terror groups that could capture a nuke could launch such an attack. A congressional EMP commission and the military have delivered such warnings over the years, too. Bedard said a 2015 report for the American Leadership & Policy Foundation included advice from Air Force Maj. David Stuckenberg, a leading EMP expert, about the situation, and the threat to national security from EMPs. "Using a balloon as a WMD/WME platform could provide adversaries with a pallet of altitudes and payload options with which to maximize offensive effects against the U.S.," he said at the time. "A high altitude balloon could be designed, created, and launchedin a matter of months. There is nothing to prevent several hundred pounds of weapons material from being delivered to altitude." Today, in light of the Chinese balloon's presence, Bedard reported, he said, "China's recent balloon flyover of the United States is clearly a provocative and aggressive act. It was most likely a type of dry run meant to send a strategic message to theUSA. We must not take this for granted." He noted during World War II Japan had an effort that targeted North American with balloon bombs. The report said, "Stuckenberg cited the research of the late Peter Pry, who headed a congressional commission on EMP and reported on the potential of a balloon-launched attack." Pry found, "Imagine the consequences of a balloon EMP attack that damages and destroys electronic systems at the speed of light within an EMP field with a radius of hundreds of kilometers. The Eastern Grid generates 75% of U.S. electricity and supportsmost of the population. Virtually any nuke detonated anywhere over the Eastern Grid will collapse the entire Eastern Grid, not just the area within the EMP field, because of cascading failures that will ripple outward." China has claimed its balloon is a weather balloon and is not a threat, and the Pentagon has so far rebuffed demands to shoot it down. WND reported only last year there was new evidence the rogue Islamic regime in Iran was preparing for such an attack by hardening its "critical infrastructure" in preparation for a military response from the United States. In an electromagnetic-pulse, or EMP, attack, a small nuclear weapon delivered on a satellite is exploded at high altitude, resulting in a burst of electromagnetic energy that could cause a nationwide blackout of the electric power grid. The shutdown ofcritical infrastructure reliant on the grid, which could last as long as a year, would affect communications, transportation, food and water supply, and sanitation. While nuclear experts believe Iran does not have the capacity to strike the U.S. with a traditional nuclear-tipped missile, its intent to carry out an EMP attack "may be reflected in their efforts to protect at least some of their critical infrastructures,"according to a report by Pry, the executive director of the EMP Task Force on National and Homeland Security. Pry's report then, titled "IRAN: EMP THREAT The Islamic Republic of Iran's Military Doctrine, Plans, and Capabilities for Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) Attack," noted anofficial Iranian military textbook endorses EMP attacks against the U.S. 'EMP apocalypse' A year ago, Pry co-authored a column in The Hill warning that the Ukraine war could devolve into an "EMP apocalypse" for America. Pry and co-author D. Brian Hay, president of the Canadian security think tank Mackenzie Institute, said a missile-delivered EMP "of sufficient size, exploded high above St. Louis, for example, could basically fry the electricity systems of the United Statesand those of the main populated parts of Canada and northern Mexico." "The resulting social catastrophe of such a doomsday scenario would forcibly preoccupy national, state and local authorities with their own internal problems," they wrote. "Imagine most of the United States with no electricity, no ATMs, few working vehicles, few functioning hospitals, no delivery of prescription medicines, or food or fresh water or sewage treatment," they wrote "Most of the U.S. population could be reducedto a lifestyle like that of the 1800s. EMP Commission estimates project a death toll of 90 percent of the population within one year, were something of this nature to happen. Remaining authorities would be overwhelmed by civil unrest decimating the dwindlingpopulation as they fought for their survival." The threat could come, they warned, from many sources, including North Korea and China as well as Russia and Iran. But on the way in, the Israeli military units came under gunfire and explosive attack by members of other terrorist groups. Heavy firefights ensued which resulted in nine terrorists and civilians being killed and 20 wounded.Despite the best efforts of the enemy, the raid to stop the terror attack was successful. Immediately, the usual suspects in world governments and in media were up in arms, saying it was a massacre by Israel and demanding the UN Security Council condemn theaction. In Gaza, the Islamists responded by launching three rockets at Israel, resulting in the Israeli Air Force (IAF) destroying a Hamas underground rocket manufacturing site and a military base also used by Hamas. Then, last night, in response to more rocketsbeing fired from Gaza, the IAF sent fighter jets to target a production and storage site for chemical raw materials for rocket manufacturing, as well as a site for the production of the actual rockets. Massacre in East Jerusalem Synagogue Sadly, the Palestinian terrorists were not satisfied with their rocket retaliation for the raid in Jenin. The next night, a 21-year-old Arab resident of East Jerusalem, exiteda car and walked toward a synagogue where people had gathered for Shabbat. The terrorist pulled out a handgun and began firing indiscriminately. Seven men and women were killed, and at least three more were wounded. After his rampage, the shooter escaped bycar. However, his vehicle was stopped, and the terror suspect was shot dead as he drew his gun to fire on police. As the mourning began in Israel over this tragedy perpetrated on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, a very different reaction took placeon the Palestinian streets of East Jerusalem, Hebron, and Bethlehem, and even in other Arab countries. Fireworks were lit, candies were passed out, and there was singing and dancing in the streets as they celebrated this bloody slaughter. For more informationabout this tragic event, please watch my Breaking News Update. Tween Terrorist Sacrificed by Islamist Idealogues Just hours after the synagogue massacre, a 13-year-old Palestinian boy ambushed a Jewish father and son on an East Jerusalem street and shot them both. The son who was woundedwas an off-duty officer in the IDF Paratroopers Brigade and managed to shoot his young attacker. All three are being tended for their wounds, with the father and son being listed in serious but stable condition. Israel Strikes Iranian Missile Smuggling Pipeline After firing warning shots to allow drivers to get clear of their vehicles, IAF jets on Sunday targeted a 25 truck convoy at the al-Qaim border crossing between Iraq and Syria.Six refrigerated trucks were destroyed, which are the type that Iran typically uses to transport missiles and drones. In the same action, other fighter jets targeted a meeting of Iranian commanders in Abu Kamal, a city located just northwest of the bordercrossing. It is suspected that these men were the ones in charge of the weapons transport. Massive Drone Attack on Military Targets in Iran A major drone attack occurred within the borders of Iran Saturday night. Several cities were targeted, including Tehran and Isfahan. Hardest hit appears to be Isfahan, wherea defense factory which produces ammunition and weapons was heavily damaged. Witnesses say that quadcopters were used that dropped bomblets on their targets. While most point their fingers at Israel for the attack, others claim that it was a combination ofthe US and another country not Israel. For more information about this strike, watch my second Breaking News Update of the week. Irans Islamic Regime Gets Upper Hand on Protests After months of protests and civil unrest against the Islamic regime of Iran, it appears as if the powerful arms of the government and military are finally winning out. TwentyIranian citizens have already been executed, and another 100 are waiting for their death sentences to be carried out. The protest movement stood strong for as long as it could. Unfortunately, it needed someone to stand strong with them if they were to havea chance of toppling Irans radical theocracy. But instead of coming alongside the freedom-craving masses, the governments of the West chose to kowtow to the ayatollahs in the vain hope that they might garner a new nuclear arms deal. Now it is too late, andmany more will pay the price with their lives. Terror Attack in Azerbaijans Embassy in Tehran Last week, a lone gunman forced his way into the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran. Once inside, he shot three embassy personnel, killing one. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisiwas quick to condemn the act and offer condolences, but the Azeri government isnt satisfied with their rival states proclamation of innocence. Instead, the government in Baku believes that Iran is purposely keeping embassy security lax, and, as a result,Azerbaijan is pulling its entire embassy staff from Tehran. Mosque Blast in Peshawar, Pakistan A bomb detonated in a Peshawar, Pakistan, mosque Wednesday, killing 101 people and injuring more than 220 more. The suicide bomber moved to the front of the mosque duringprayers and detonated his vest. The power of the blast brought the roof down on the worshippers. The mosque was located in a high-security area and was built specifically to be used by police forces. All but three of those dead were members of law enforcement.Claiming responsibility is Omar Mukaram Khurusani, the head of the Jamaat-ul-Ahrar terrorist organization and a member of the leadership council of the Pakistani Taliban. Because the perpetrator was able to get past several checkpoints into the area, thereis speculation that he had help from the inside. US Army Kills ISIS Leader in Northern Somalia Last Wednesday, special forces of the United States Africa Command killed Bilal al-Sudani, the senior leader of ISIS in northern Somalia. In the helicopter attack, al-Sudanimet his maker along with ten of his fellow militants. Then, two days ago, a Hellfire R9X Ninja missile fired from a US drone killed Hassan al-Khadrami and two of his companions while they were at a gas station in Yemens northeastern Marib province. Al-Khadramiwas a senior al-Qaeda leader who was responsible for manufacturing explosive devices in the Arabian Peninsula. Nice work, Merica! Russia Accuses the United States of Involvement in Nord Stream Explosions In an apparent shift from Vladimir Putins previous accusation of Britain blowing up the Nord Stream gas pipelines, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said today thatthe US was directly involved in the sabotage. Meanwhile, German investigators arent ruling out the possibility, saying that they are still open to the possibility that a Western country is responsible for the underwater explosions in order to blame Russia. Russia Continues Advancing as Ukraine Prepares for Possible Offensive Vladimir Putins military continues its gradual advance, particularly in the area of Bakhmut where Russian forces claim to have the Donbas city surrounded. Casualties arehigh with estimates reaching the tens of thousands. Meanwhile, Ukraine appears to be preparing for a counter-offensive against the Russian incursion. Military airfields are being upgraded in order to handle western fighter jets, such as the F16, even thoughnone have been promised yet. The US appears ready to send missiles to Ukraine which could be used to target Crimea, although the Biden administration is still holding back on greenlighting an advance into the region which was annexed by Russia in 2014. OneEuropean leader who feels that Moscows victory is assured no matter what Ukraine does is Hungarys President Viktor Orbn. Because of the Russian elections next year, Orbn says that Putin needs a victory. So, he is using shock and awe tactics to turn Ukraineinto an uncontrollable ruin. Three Reasons We Could See Nuclear Weapons Used in 2023 The world continues to be closer to nuclear war than it has been in six decades. I believe there are three situations that could lead to the use of nuclear weapons in 2023: If the US greenlights and fully arms Ukraine for an offensive into Crimea, that could trigger Vladimir Putin into deploying a nuclear missile. If Iran employs the enriched uranium that the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) affirms that it is holding in the manufacture of a nuclear bomb, we couldsee the use of some sort of nuclear weapon by the Tehran regime or one of their proxy terrorist militias. Tensions continue to rise on the Korean Peninsula, and now South Korea is talking about beginning its own nuclear program. If they decide to do so, that could be what pushesKim Jong-un over the edge leading him to put his own nuclear arsenal to use. -------------------------------- China balloons and a compromised president - Bill Wilson www.dailyjot.com In January of 2020, J.R. Nyquist, co-author of The New Tactics of Global War, wrote a column for Epoch Times about a speech by a retiring Chinese Defense Minister some 20years ago that promoted Chinese policy using biological weapons against the America. General Chi Haotian said that the United States not only blocks Chinas desires with conquering new lands like Taiwan, Vietnam, India, or Japan, but also has the land massto solve Chinas growing overpopulation problem. The general said, We are not foolish as to want to perish together with America by using nuclear weapons. Only by using non-destructive weapons that can kill many people will we be able to reserve America forourselves. Chi added that China had seized the opportunity to master weapons of this kind. Fast forward to the so-called spy balloons. Joe Biden knew for almost a week about this CommunistChinese spy balloon coming across the Untied States before he did anything about it. This balloon was soaring some 60,000 feet above the country and it was the size of three school busses. It carried a large enough payload that Democrat political hacks wereconcerned that shooting it down would cause high risk to people below. Then when criticized about their lack of national security concern, these deep state flunkies went into high gear diverting attention to former president Trump rather than face the loomingissue of a possible deadly security violation. The question must be asked: Is Biden and the Democratic Party so compromised by China, that they will not protect the national security? This is a legitimate question. RememberJoes son Hunter and his laptop. In March 2020, there were 26,000 emails provided Breitbart News by Hunters former business partner Bevan Cooney who is in prison. The emails detailed how Hunter secured meetings with senior White House officials for ChineseCommunist elitesincluding a secret meeting with then-Vice President Joe Biden. The laptop reportedly had video of Hunter using cocaine and having sex with Chinese children. Back then, the media and national security deep state traitors censored these storiesand promoted the propaganda that they were the result of a Russian misinformation campaign. That misinformation campaign turned out to be run by the FBI and social media giants like Twitter and Facebook. Mainstream media also was complicit. Common sense would dictatethat the Chinese and Russians and Ukrainians have so much on Biden and his family that he cannot possibly make rational decisions to protect Americans. And that is why a Chinese spy balloon that could carry a deadly payload is allowed to float across Americandefense installations and population centers. Biden and his Administration should be removed from office for this alone. As Christ said in Luke 8:17, For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light. As the truth comes out about Biden and his family, it will show how he is compromised, but let us pray its not too late. ------------------------ China and Russia Deepen Their Ties - by Judith Bergman - https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/19372/china-russia-deepen-ties China and Russia continue to deepen their ties, a pact that has not gone unnoticed by the European public. In a new poll taken by the International Republican Institute (IRI)across 13 Central and Eastern European countries, there was much concern about this deepening partnership. Jan Surotchak, Senior Director for Transatlantic Strategy at IRI, said: "Our data clearly show that many Europeans see a working relationship between Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping as a threat to security and prosperity across the continent. Asthe war in Ukraine rages on, they are worried that an alliance between powerful authoritarians will continue to have a negative impact in their own backyard." Similarly, a Pew research poll taken in the United States in April 2022 found 62% of respondents saying that the strengthened China-Russia relationship was "a very seriousproblem." The collaboration between China and Russia has been deepening since before Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Just 20 days before the invasion, Russian PresidentVladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping signed a statement that said their cooperation had "no limits... no forbidden zones." "Russia and China are making common cause to better defend their respective interests and their authoritarian systems from Western pressure," said Daniel Russel, a formerObama administration official handling Asia issues, at the time. Shortly after that, Putin announced new Russian oil and gas deals with China worth an estimated $117.5 billion. On February 18, six days before the invasion, Russia announceda $20 billion deal to sell 100 million tons of coal to China. Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, China's imports of oil, piped natural gas, liquefied natural gas and coal from Russia have reached a total of $68 billion, up from $41 billion for the same periodlast year, at a time when the West has banned the import of most Russian energy. In November, Russia even surpassed Saudi Arabia as China's primary supplier of crude oil. The trade of goods between Russia and China reached $190 billion in 2022, up more than 30% from 2021. Both countries have also increasingly been conducting this trade in theirnational currencies. In October 2022, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov that China wants to deepen its relationship with Moscow "at all levels." In December, the Wall Street Journal reported that Xi had given instructions to make economic ties with Russia even stronger: "The plan includes increasing Chinese imports of Russian oil, gas and farm goods, more joint energy partnerships in the Arctic and increased Chinese investment in Russianinfrastructure, such as railways and ports, the advisers say. Russia and China are also conducting more financial transactions in the ruble and yuan, rather than the euro or dollar, a move that helps insulate the two against future sanctions and put the Chinesecurrency into wider circulation." "Xi has been strengthening China's relations with Russia largely independent of the Russian invasion," said Yun Sun, director of the China program at the Stimson Center, aWashington think tank. "The relationship may well be becoming ever closer." Although China has not provided Russia with materiel for its war on Ukraine, China and Russia's relationship does extend to military cooperation and joint military exercises. In September 2022, China and Russia agreed "on further military cooperation with a focus on joint exercises and patrols, as well as on strengthening contacts between the General Staffs." In December, China and Russia held joint live-fire naval exercises, known as Maritime Cooperation 2022 - a yearly event between the two countries since 2012 -- in the EastChina Sea with the live-fire participation of Russia's Navy and China's People's Liberation Army Navy, as well as Chinese aircraft. According to a Russian statement: "The active part of the exercise will include joint missile and artillery firing against air targets, artillery firing against sea targets, and practicing joint anti-submarineactions with practical use of weapons... The main purpose of the exercise is to strengthen naval cooperation between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China and to maintain peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region." China's defense ministry described the exercises as a demonstration of "the determination and capability of the two sides to jointly respond to maritime security threats, maintain international and regional peace and stability and further deepen China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership." The United States was not strong enough "to keep in check both countries at once, so was mobilizing Europe, Japan and others to join it," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrovsaid in January, according to Reuters. "The West is trying to sow discord in our relations... We and China see all these games." In February, China and Russia will be holding joint military exercises with South Africa off the South African coast, underscoring the growing influence that China has inAfrica. Xi is expected to visit Putin this spring. "We are expecting you, dear Mr Chairman, dear friend, we are expecting you next spring on a state visit to Moscow," Putin told Xi in video-conference at the end of December. Above all, China's close and increased dealings with Russia have provided a lifeline to Putin, enabling him to continue his war on Ukraine. This is something that the Bidenadministration has done little about, apart from threatening last March: "We are communicating directly, privately to Beijing, that there will absolutely be consequences for large-scale sanctions evasion efforts or support to Russia to backfillthem. We will not allow that to go forward and allow there to be a lifeline to Russia from these economic sanctions from any country, anywhere in the world." China is "the invisible hand behind Putin," Michael Pillsbury, author of The Hundred-Year Marathon, said in March 2022. "They are the ones who are funding the war. Roughly half of Russia's gold and currency reserves are controlled now by the U.S. and by the West, he [Putin] can't get accessto them. But the other half the Chinese can provide access to and they've been doing it... The trade and the purchase of long-term energy supplies undercut the sanctions, because it shows Putin he has got somebody in his corner for the next five years or more. There's a number of ways that China's support is just crucial for Putin. I believe the Chinese could stop the war with one phone call to him. It would be like the banker calling you... so far it's not happening... Probably the only way to get ahead is goingto be American sanctions on China... the war will go on because the banker is not going to make that call." Seemingly only now, almost a year after the invasion of Ukraine, the Biden administration has reportedly begun to address China "with evidence that suggests some Chinese state-ownedcompanies may be providing assistance for Russia's war effort in Ukraine," according to Time magazine. "The people familiar with the administration's thinking characterized the state-owned enterprises' activities as knowingly assisting Russia in its war effort. They didn'telaborate on what evidence the administration might have to support that view." On January 24, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre remarked: "We will continue to communicate to China the implications of providing material support to Russia's war against Ukraine. We have talked about this many times that we willbe very clear what it means to support Russia's aggression against Ukraine. And, as I've said many times, as my colleagues from NSC has said many times, we will continue to support Ukraine and the Ukrainian people as long as needed." For the sake of deterring the many enemies of the Free World, let us hope this is so. So far, the Biden administration's help to Ukraine has been insufficient and slow incoming; however, protecting the West by saving Ukraine may yet go down as Biden's legacy and his administration's greatest achievement. -------------------------------- Before We End Up In Wars With Russia And China Simultaneously, Lets Review The Nuclear Balance Of Power - by Michael Snyder - http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/before-we-end-up-in-wars-with-russia-and-china-simultaneously-lets-review-the-nuclear-balance-of-power/ It has been said that there are no winners in a nuclear war, but the Russians and the Chinese have been feverishly preparing to fight one anyway. When I was growing up, Iwas taught that nobody would ever dare start a nuclear war because both sides would fire their missiles and everyone would die. In those days the doctrine of mutual assured destruction was universally accepted in the United States, and once the Cold Warended our politicians saw no more need to upgrade our missiles or to develop cutting edge anti-missile technologies. Unfortunately, the balance of power has changed dramatically over the past decade. Russia and China have both made enormous leaps forward, and that puts us in a very precarious position. In recent days, Republicans in Congress have been buzzing about a new report from the top commander of U.S. nuclear forces that says that China now has more launchers forland-based nuclear missiles than the U.S. does Top Republicans on Capitol Hill are raising alarms over news that China has surpassed the U.S. in its number of launchers for land-based nuclear missiles and arguing forthe U.S. to expand its own arsenal to keep pace. Four GOP leaders on the House and Senate Armed Services committees said the revelation about Chinas nuclear capability, made in a Jan. 26 letter from the top commander ofU.S. nuclear forces, is a warning that Beijings arsenal is expanding faster than anticipated, though the U.S. still has more warheads and intercontinental ballistic missiles. This wasnt supposed to happen. We all knew that the Chinese were upgrading their arsenal, but it turns out that they were even busier than we had anticipated. In fact, they have doubled their number of warheads in just 2 years The [Chinese Communist Party] is rapidly expanding its nuclear capability. They have doubled their number of warheads in just 2 years, Rogers said at the outset of Tuesdayshearing. We estimated it would take them a decade to do that. I was stunned when I saw that. The Chinese were not supposed to catch up with us that quickly. Meanwhile, the Russians have developed a new intercontinental ballistic missile that is the most advanced in the world by a wide margin. It is called the Sarmat, and itis absolutely frightening The Sarmat is a three-stage, silo-based, liquid-fuel, heavy ICBM with a reported range of 18,000 kilometers. Dubbed Satan II by NATO, the missile is a Russian-built replacementof the Soviet-era SS-18 Satan ICBM, which is reaching the end of its life cycle. The Sarmat reportedly can carry a 10-ton payload consisting of 10-plus multiple independent reentry vehicles along with penetration aids used to evade missile defenses. Moscowsays the new missile can also carry several Avangard hypersonic glide vehicles. A single Sarmat can carry enough firepower to destroy an area the size of Texas. If the Russians or the Chinese fire their missiles at us, can we shoot them down? The answer is no. In fact, a study that was just released concluded that our anti-missile defenses are so feeble that we couldnt even do much to stop a relative handful of old-fashioned NorthKorean ICBMs from reaching their targets While the United States could do very little to stop a sky full of Russian or Chinese hypersonic boost-glide vehicles from finding their targets on American soil it coulddo just as little to stop a relative handful of old-fashioned North Korean ICBMs from reaching those targets either. And thats not media sensationalism or journalistic hyperbole. A bit more than a month ago, a team of 13 physicists and engineers with the American Physical Society releaseda 54-page study exploring this very question, and they came to some disconcerting conclusions. So on our side of the equation, mutual assured destruction still applies. If our enemies fire their missiles at us, we will be in all sorts of trouble. Unfortunately, the Russians have been working very hard to develop very sophisticated anti-missile systems. Until the S-500 was developed, the A-135 was the best system that the Russians had for intercepting intercontinental ballistic missiles The A-135 was designed to intercept US intercontinental ballistic missiles as well as submarine-launched ballistic missiles. This anti-ballistic missile system has discriminationability and can identify real re-entry vehicles from decoys and fake warheads. The A-135 is superior to anything that we have, but it is far from perfect. But now the S-500 is here. It went into service last year, and there is no other system in the world that is even worth comparing to it. The following information about the S-500 comes from Wikipedia The S-500 is designed for intercepting and destroying intercontinental ballistic missiles, as well as hypersonic cruise missiles and aircraft, for air defense against AirborneEarly Warning and Control and for jamming aircraft.[citation needed] With a planned range of 600 km (370 mi) for anti-ballistic missile (ABM) and 500 km (310 mi) for air defense,[22] the S-500 would be able to detect and simultaneously engage up to 10 ballistichypersonic targets flying at a speed of 5 kilometers per second (3.1 mi/s)[23][24] to a limit of 7 km/s (4.3 mi/s).[25][26] It also aims at destroying hypersonic cruise missiles and other aerial targets at speeds of higher than Mach 5, as well as spacecraft. The altitude of a target engaged can be as high as 180200 km (110120 mi).[27] It is effective against ballistic missiles with a launch range of 3,500 km (2,200 mi), the radar reaches a radius of 3,000 km (1,300 km for the EPR 0,1 square meter).[28][29] Othertargets it has been announced to defend against include unmanned aerial vehicles, low Earth orbit satellites, space weapons launched from hypersonic aircraft, and hypersonic orbital platforms.[30] The system is mobile and has rapid deploy ability. Experts believe that the systems capabilities can affect enemy intercontinental ballistic missiles at the middle and endportions of flight,[22] but reports by Almaz-Antey say that the external target-designation system (RLS Voronezh-DM and missile defense system A-135 radar Don-2N) will be capable of mid-early flight portion interceptions of enemy ballistic missiles, whichis one of the final stages of the S-500 project. It is to have a response time of less than 4 seconds (Compared to the S-400s less than 10).[31] Sadly, the U.S. has not developed new land-based intercontinental ballistic missiles in decades. At this point, the backbone of our land-based arsenal consists of just 400extremely outdated Minuteman III missiles. The following comes from the official website of the U.S. Department of Defense Up to 400 Minuteman III missiles make up the most responsive leg of the nuclear triad. Americas ICBM force has remained on continuous, around-the-clock alert since 1959.The Ground-Based Strategic Deterrent program will begin the replacement of Minuteman III and modernization of the 450 ICBM launch facilities in 2029. These Minuteman III missiles first went into service in the early 1970s, and the silos for these missiles can be found in the states of Montana, North Dakota and Wyoming In 1970, the Minuteman III became the first deployed ICBM with multiple independently targetable reentry vehicles (MIRV): three smaller warheads that improved the missilesability to strike targets defended by ABMs.[8] They were initially armed with the W62 warhead with a yield of 170 kilotons. By the 1970s, 1,000 Minuteman missiles were deployed. This force has shrunk to 400 Minuteman III missiles as of September 2017,[9] deployed in missile silos around MalmstromAFB, Montana; Minot AFB, North Dakota; and Francis E. Warren AFB, Wyoming.[10] Would you want to use a computer that was made in the 1970s? If not, then why would we want to fight a nuclear war with missiles made in the 1970s? If a nuclear war with Russia erupts, we will be sending 400 hopelessly outdated land-based missiles against the extremely sophisticated anti-missile systems that the Russianshave now developed. Are you sure that our missiles will get through? Needless to say, our land-based missiles are only one-third of our nuclear triad. Our strategic bombers are another leg of the triad. The B-52 bomber has been around for a long time, and it is capable of carrying nuclear weapons The B-52 is a long-range, heavy bomber that can perform a variety of missions. It can carry nuclear or precision guided conventional weapons with worldwide precision navigation. The B-52 is slated to be in service beyond 2040. Unfortunately, I wouldnt count on B-52 bombers doing much, because they would get absolutely shredded by Russian anti-aircraft systems. Our stealth bombers are much better choices The B-2 Spirit is a multirole stealth bomber capable of delivering both conventional and nuclear weapons. The B-21 Raider will first supplement, then eventually replace, theB-2 beginning in the mid-2020s. Of course if the Russians destroy our airbases in a devastating first strike from their subs before we can even get our bombers loaded and off the ground, this leg of thetriad wont be of much use either. The final leg of our nuclear triad is made up of just 14 Ohio-class submarines Fourteen Ohio-class SSBNs make up the most survivable leg of the nuclear triad. Their stealth design makes finding an SSBN an almost impossible task, giving pause to potentialadversaries. The Columbia-class SSBN program will begin to replace the Ohio-class SSBNs starting in the early 2030s. As the Department of Defense has noted, these submarines are definitely the most survivable leg of the nuclear triad. If the Russians nuke us, we should be able to send sub-based missiles back at them. But once again, those missiles are outdated. Right now, our Ohio-class subs are carrying Trident II missiles that first went into service in 1990 The UGM-133A Trident II, or Trident D5 is a submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM), built by Lockheed Martin Space in Sunnyvale, California, and deployed with the Americanand British navies. It was first deployed in March 1990,[6] and remains in service. The Trident II Strategic Weapons System is an improved SLBM with greater accuracy, payload, and range than the earlier Trident C-4. It is a key element of the U.S. strategicnuclear triad and strengthens U.S. strategic deterrence. I believe that Trident II missiles are a more viable threat than Minuteman III missiles are, but they are still more than 30 years old. Are you sure that our aging Trident II missiles will be able to get through the cutting edge anti-missile systems that the Russians have now developed? By the way, the Chinese have been working very hard to develop sophisticated anti-missile systems as well. Meanwhile, we continue to pretend that the doctrine of mutual assured destruction will magically save us even though the balance of power has fundamentally shifted. As I have repeatedly warned my readers, we could soon find ourselves involved in wars with Russia and China at the same time. Before we do that, perhaps we should take a really hard look at our own capabilities. Many of the old paradigms no longer apply, and we are far more vulnerable than most people realize. ---------------------------- Another Conspiracy Theory Has Been Proven True, And It Brings Us Even Closer To Nuclear War- by Michael Snyder - http://endoftheamericandream.com/another-conspiracy-theory-has-been-proven-true-and-it-brings-us-even-closer-to-nuclear-war/ We now know who blew up the Nord Stream pipelines, and it shouldnt be a surprise to any of us. The corporate media tried very hard to convince us that the Russians were behindthe sabotage when it originally happened, but that didnt make any sense at all. It took 15 years to build the Nord Stream pipelines, and the total cost ultimately surpassed 20 billion dollars. So why would the Russians blow up pipelines that they had investedso much to construct and that were so critical to their own national economy? Sadly, many Americans unquestionably believed the narrative that was being pushed by the Biden administration, but now we have learned that it was the Biden administration that wasactually behind the attack. Legendary journalist Seymour Hersh has just published an extremely detailed article entitled How America Took Out The Nord Stream Pipeline in which he lays out preciselywhat happened. If you are not familiar with Hersh, the following is some good background information about him from Wikipedia Hersh first gained recognition in 1969 for exposing the My Lai Massacre and its cover-up during the Vietnam War, for which he received the 1970 Pulitzer Prize for InternationalReporting. During the 1970s, Hersh covered the Watergate scandal for The New York Times and revealed the clandestine bombing of Cambodia. In 2004, he reported on the U.S. militarys mistreatment of detainees at Abu Ghraib prison. He has also won two NationalMagazine Awards and five George Polk Awards. In 2004, he received the George Orwell Award.[7] As you can see, Hersh is not just another journalist. He was winning awards long before many of you were even born. And he would never go ahead with a story like this unless his source was rock solid. According to Hershs source, the plan to blow up the pipelines came from a task force that was originally formed in December 2021 In December of 2021, two months before the first Russian tanks rolled into Ukraine, Jake Sullivan convened a meeting of a newly formed task forcemen and women from the JointChiefs of Staff, the CIA, and the State and Treasury Departmentsand asked for recommendations about how to respond to Putins impending invasion. Apparently Sullivan made it quite clear that the task force was supposed to come up with a plan for the destruction of the two Nord Stream pipelines, and it was also quiteclear that Sullivan was delivering on the desires of the President What became clear to participants, according to the source with direct knowledge of the process, is that Sullivan intended for the group to come up with a plan for the destructionof the two Nord Stream pipelinesand that he was delivering on the desires of the President. For the past two years, I have been repeatedly warning my readers that Jake Sullivan is a big time warmonger. So it is not exactly a shock that he was directly involved in this decision. According to Hershs source, those that were a part of this task force definitely understood that blowing up the Nord Stream pipelines would be an act of war Everyone involved understood the stakes. This is not kiddie stuff, the source said. If the attack were traceable to the United States, Its an act of war. So now that the fact that we have committed an act of war against Russia has been revealed for the whole world to see, how will the Russians respond? Will they choose to strike back in some way? Thanks to the foolishness of our leaders in Washington, we are now closer to nuclear war than ever before. At the time when this attack was first being considered, there were a few officials from the CIA and the State Department that were warning about what would happen if thetruth was ever revealed Throughout all of this scheming, the source said, some working guys in the CIA and the State Department were saying, Dont do this. Its stupid and will be a politicalnightmare if it comes out. Now the truth has finally come out, and there will be very serious consequences. Ultimately, Sullivans working group settled on a plan that involved the planting of underwater explosives. And apparently those underwater explosives were put into place during the BALTOPS22 military exercises in June 2022 In a compelling, 5,000-word report about the alleged attack, Hersh claims diving experts trained at the U.S. Navy Diving and Salvage Center in Florida planted the explosives. The divers are said to have carried out the top secret and highly-dangerous operation during BALTOPS22, a series of military exercises in the Baltic Sea carried out by 16NATO countries. The U.S. divers reportedly used the highly-publicized, 13-day event in June 2022 as cover for their top-secret mission. The C4 explosives attached to the pipelines were fitted with sensors that enabled them to be detonated remotely at a later date, Hersh reports. There was concern that it would be obvious that the U.S. was behind the attack if they were set off too quickly after the BALTOPS22 military exercises concluded. So the explosives just sat on the pipelines until they were finally remotely detonated in late September On September 26, 2022, a Norwegian Navy P8 surveillance plane made a seemingly routine flight and dropped a sonar buoy. The signal spread underwater, initially to Nord Stream2 and then on to Nord Stream 1. A few hours later, the high-powered C4 explosives were triggered and three of the four pipelines were put out of commission. Within a few minutes, pools of methane gas that remained in the shuttered pipelines could be seen spreadingon the waters surface and the world learned that something irreversible had taken place. When asked about Hershs bombshell story, the White House responded by calling it completely and utterly false A spokesman for the White House said the report is false and complete fiction. A spokesman for the CIA said: This claim is completely and utterly false. But what else can they do? If the Biden administration admits the truth, it is likely that Biden will be impeached. Needless to say, the Russians were exceedingly interested in this report, and they are demanding answers Russias Foreign Ministry says the Hersh report reveals new facts that must be answered to, however, with spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stressing, We have repeatedly statedRussias position on the involvement of the United States and NATO, noting that they did not hide it, bragging to the whole world about their intention to destroy the civilian infrastructure through which Europe received Russian energy resources. If the Russians had attacked us in such a way, the American people would be crying out for revenge. And rightfully so. The recklessness of our leaders has pushed us to the brink of nuclear war, and as I discussed in a previous article, the United States is definitely not prepared for sucha conflict. Sadly, most Americans dont even realize what is going on. Elon Musk was quite correct when he observed that most are oblivious to the danger Tesla founder Elon Musk warned that most are oblivious to the danger of World War 3 as the conflict in Ukraine continues to escalate. The comment was in response to a speech by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to the General Assembly on Monday during which he expressed his fear that humanity was marchingtoward a wider war with its eyes wide open. But over in Russia the story is completely different. The Russians believe that they are now engaged in an existential conflict with the United States, and there is constant talk about the possibility of nuclear war on Russiantelevision. When it finally happens, nobody will be able to say that they werent warned. Over the past two years, I have been relentlessly warning my readers that Joe Biden and his all-star team of warmongers were going to push things way too far. Now the truth about the attack on the Nord Stream pipelines has finally come out, and nothing will ever be the same after this. --------------------------------
