WORLD AT WAR: 8.12.23 - The Entire Globe Is Being Gripped By War Fever

The Entire Globe Is Being Gripped By A Really Bad Case Of War Fever- by Michael Snyder - http://endoftheamericandream.com/the-entire-globe-is-being-gripped-by-a-really-bad-case-of-war-fever/ Most of us just want to live in peace, but leaders all over the world are preparing for more war. In fact, at this point it appears that the entire globe is being grippedby a really bad case of war fever. As I write this article, the Economic Community of West African States is warning that it could invade the nation of Niger if coup leaders do not reinstate President Mohamed Bazoum. Of course the leaders of the coup do notintend to back down, and so there will probably be war. But that will be a relatively small conflict compared to others that are looming on the horizon. On Monday, we learned that over 3,000 U.S. troops have arrived in the Red Sea More than 3,000 United States military personnel have arrived in the Red Sea aboard two warships, part of a beefed up response from Washington after tanker seizures by Iran, the US Navy said Monday. The deployment adds to a growing US military buildup in tense Gulf waterways vital to the global oil trade and led Tehran on Monday to accuse the US of inflaming regionalinstability. This is part of an ongoing effort by the Biden administration to bolster U.S. forces in the region, and it is hoped that a larger U.S. presence will deter Iran from takingcontrol of any more internationally flagged ships Their arrival followed a U.S. announcement last month it would deploy a destroyer, F-35 and F-16 warplanes, along with the Amphibious Readiness Group/Marine ExpeditionaryUnit, to the Middle East to deter Iran from seizing ships in the Gulf. The U.S. military says Iran has either seized or attempted to take control of nearly 20 internationally flagged ships in the region over the past two years and the Biden WhiteHouse wants to see more forces in the region to stand ready to engage Iran if required, as Breitbart News reported. Meanwhile, it is being reported that the city of Damascus was just rocked by Israeli missile strikes After weeks of relative quiet, the Syrian capital of Damascus was rocked by Israeli missile strikes in the early Monday morning hours, resulting in the deaths of four Syriansoldiers and several more wounded, according to state agency SANA. The attack also caused unspecified material damage while multiple inbound projectiles were reportedly intercepted by Syrian air defense. Videos which emerged in the aftermathappeared to show intercept explosions above the city in the overnight hours. Tensions in the Middle East havent been this high in decades, and a major war could erupt at literally any time. But I dont think that planners in the west are anticipating a major war in the Middle East in 2023. My personal opinion is that if a big move in the region is planned, it will be in 2024. Meanwhile, the much-hyped counter-offensive in Ukraine is not going very well On Aug. 3-5, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost 2,040 additional men, bringing Ukrainian casualties to over 45,000 since the beginning of the Counter-Offensive June4. The AFU has approx. 200.000 combat soldiers, 36.000 of which were trained at NATO bases like Grafenwhr, Germany in the past months. Writing on Russian Sputnik News, US Maj. Scott Ritter called the Ukrainian attack on heavily defended Russian lines with inexperienced troops and no air support a massacre, with Ukrainians suffering losses at the rate of 10 to 1 compared to the Russians. Ritter called the road to Rabotino east of Zaporizhzhia a highway to hell Ritter is quite right. Ukrainian forces are just getting slaughtered by well prepared Russian defenses, but more young Ukrainians are being sent to their deaths with eachpassing day. This counter-offensive was supposed to be the campaign that turned the tide of the war, but instead it is the Russians that are currently advancing Russia claimed its troops had advanced three kilometres (two miles) along the Kupiansk front in northeastern Ukraine. The Russian defence ministry said that it had improved its standing along the front line in the last three days and continued to repel Ukrainian counter-attacks. Over the past three days, the advance of Russian troops amounted to 11 kilometres along the front and more than three kilometres deep into the enemys defence, the ministrysaid. But instead of pushing for peace, the Biden administration continues to insist that we are going to pour more resources into this war for as long as it takes, and so bothsides just continue to escalate matters. On the other side of the planet, the Chinese continue to prepare for an invasion of Taiwan. And once the Chinese do invade, the U.S. and China will instantly be at war. Most Americans do not seem to understand how close we really are to such a scenario. The Chinese government is absolutely obsessed with reuniting with Taiwan, and an eightpart documentary was just released on Chinese television that is helping to mentally prepare the general public for the conflict that lies ahead China has released a new documentary about the armys preparation to attack Taiwan and showcasing soldiers pledging to give up their lives if needed as Beijing continues toramp up its rhetoric against the self-ruled island. Chasing Dreams, an eight-part docuseries aired by state broadcaster CCTV earlier this week to mark the People Liberation Armys 96th anniversary, features military drillsand testimonials by dozens of soldiers, of which several express their willingness to die in a potential attack against Taiwan. This eight part documentary would not be on state television if the central government did not want it there. In it, some members of the Chinese military express their intention to literally lay down their lives if that is what is necessary to take Taiwan If war broke out and the conditions were too difficult to safely remove the naval mines in actual combat, we would use our own bodies to clear a safe pathway for our (landing)forces, Zuo Feng, a frogman with the PLA Navys minesweeper unit, said in a testimonial. Li Peng, a pilot from Wang Hai Squadron under the PLA Air Force, echoed his statement, saying his fighter jet would be the last missile rushing towards the enemy if in areal battle, I had used up all my ammunition. Do you think that most U.S. soldiers have that same level of devotion in this day and age? Ultimately, the U.S. military could find itself fighting both Russia and China at the same time, and that is why an incident that just occurred off the coast of Alaska isso chilling Eleven military vessels from China and Russia found operating near the Aleutian Islands last week were met by four U.S. Navy destroyers, Alaskas two U.S. senators said. The two Republican senators, Dan Sullivan and Lisa Murkowski, issued a joint news release Saturday night saying they had been briefed about the operation. We have been in close contact with leadership from Alaska Command for several days now and received detailed classified briefings about the foreign vessels, Murkowski said. The Biden administration has been endlessly provoking the Russians and the Chinese, and this has just driven them into each others arms. Before I end this article, I should also mention the North Koreans as well, because they just threatened to annihilate us before the end of this century North Koreas Foreign Ministry this week vowed that the country would annihilate the United States, adding that the U.S. would be terminated this century. Should the U.S. choose to offend our Republic, we will annihilate them by using all our military power that we have gathered so far, the North Korean diplomats said in astatement Thursday, the 70th anniversary of the Korean War armistice. The Korean War in the last century marked the beginning of the downfall of the U.S. Now, the 21st century would see the irrevocable termination of the U.S. The rulers ofthe U.S. are well advised to forget, on no account, the lessons of history. We are certainly living during a time of wars and rumors of wars, and I am entirely convinced that 2024 is going to be such an important turning point. If the American people truly understood the horrors that the coming wars will cause, there would be millions of people protesting in the streets right now. But they dont. Most of us just assume that our leaders know exactly what they are doing and have everything under control. Unfortunately, the exact opposite is actually true. We are steamrolling toward global conflict, and most global leaders do not even seem interested in talking about peace at this stage. So the unthinkable is rapidly approaching, and most people will be absolutely blindsided by the nightmarish events that are about to unfold on our planet. -------------------------------------------- As Israeli Airstrikes Target Damascus, Is Isaiah’s Prophecy RegardingSyria on The Horizon? – By Erick Stakelbeck - https://harbingersdaily.com/as-israeli-airstrikes-target-damascus-is-isaiahs-prophecy-regarding-syria-on-the-horizon/ Overnight on Sunday, Israel reportedly carried out airstrikes in Syria, specifically targeting the capital of Damascus. In recent months, Israel has carried out many strikes in Damascus for two reasons. Number one, Damascus International Airport is a transit point for Iranian weapons shipmentsheading through Syria to southern Lebanon and into the hands of Iran’s most lethal proxy, Hezbollah. Number two, a good deal of Iranian backed militias are based in and around Damascus, the home to weapons factories, which presumably produce advanced weaponsthat could and would be used against Israel. So, what went down Sunday night in the Syrian capital? According to media sources in the region, Israel carried out strikes in Damascus, killing four soldiers of the Syrianarmy of Bashar Al Assad and also wounding several others. The Syrian regime works in tandem with Iran and Hezbollah throughout the country at these weapons factories, which were reportedly targeted last night. Last year Israel shut down Damascus International Airport for the better part of a week because of weapons shipments coming in, many times, disguised as civilian flights. Iran hasn’t quite gotten the memo. The more Israel has struck the Iranian regime and its assets in and around Damascus, the more it seems they continue to push. What we havehere is essentially a collision course where Iran and Hezbollah say, “We are in Syria to stay,” and Israel says, “Oh, no, you don’t. This is a non-starter for us and an absolute red line,” for obvious reasons. Iran wants to use Syria as a launching pad for attacks against Israel. They want to duplicate in Syria what they have very successfully accomplished next door in southernLebanon, where Hezbollah has some 150,000 rockets and missiles pointed at every inch of Israel. Iran is working to transport precision-guided missiles (PGMs) through Syria. Those precision-guided missiles do exactly what their name says; they’re designed to hit targetswith greater accuracy and greater precision. Iran is hell bent on accomplishing this and Israel is determined to stop them. Israel, as is its MO, did not comment on the strikes. I’m sure Iran and the Assad regime are fuming, but the answer is simple: Stop building weapons to attack Israel insideof Syria, and get Iran and Hezbollah out of the country. That’s the ultimate solution, but we know that’s not going to happen without force. There’s clearly a showdown coming in Syria. It would encompass Syria, Lebanon, and Israel going toe to toe with Iran and their various jihadist allies in those two countries.Of course, the entire ring of fire that surrounds Israel would ignite in that event, getting Gaza, Hamas, and Islamic Jihad involved, even perhaps the Houthis in Yemen further to the south. That day is coming and may be rapidly approaching as we see hostilitiesramp up along the Israel-Lebanon border, and of course, in Syria. I strongly encourage you to watch my recent newscast, where I laid out a very alarming report from the Alma Research and Education Center in Israel detailing how a futureconflict with Israel and Hezbollah may very well use chemical weapons, God forbid. This report was disturbing, to say the least, and eye-opening. There is a Syrian military complex called the CERS center where the Syrian regime, according to this Alma report,is developing weapons of mass destruction, certainly chemical and biological weapons. Hezbollah and the Iranian regime are closely guarding the center. Israel has carried out airstrikes against it over recent months, but they haven’t completely neutralizedthe threat coming from this Syrian regime’s weapons industrial factory. According to this Alma report, it cannot be ruled out that Hezbollah would use chemical weapons in a future confrontation with Israel. Prophetic Significance Every time an Israeli strike occurs against Damascus, I’m asked about a prophecy in Isaiah 17:1, which says, “The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from beinga city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.” Damascus is one of the world’s oldest inhabited cities, going back thousands of years. To my knowledge, it has never been completely destroyed. Even the Mongols, which destroyedeverything in their path did not completely destroy Damascus. While some say it was fulfilled over the last decade in the Syrian civil war, I strongly disagree. Some parts are absolutely a ruinous heap, but it has not ceased to be acity. Isaiah 17:1 has yet to be fulfilled. When we have frequent action in Damascus, like what occurred Sunday night, and we have reports of chemical weapons development in Syria, we can see clearly that dangerousdays may lie ahead in the country and its capital. ------------------------------------------ What Deal Are the Americans and Saudis Negotiating? CarolineGlick - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=6277 Under the headline, "U.S.-Saudi Deal Sets Path to Normalize Kingdom's Ties with Israel," on Wednesday, The Wall Street Journal published a detailed report of the content ofU.S.-Saudi discussions. The headline was accurate as far as that goes. But the content of the article made clear that Israel is not the real focus of the discussions. Although the story paid homage to the media's favored issue: Israeli concessions to the Palestinians, it acknowledged that the Palestinians are at best a tertiary issue forSaudi officials who "have dwindling patience for uncompromising and divided Palestinian leaders with limited popular support." U.S. and Saudi negotiations are centered on two main issues: China and America's strategic alignment in the Middle East. China is the focus of U.S. demands from the Saudis. U.S. President Joe Biden's advisers have presented economic, technological and military demands to the Saudis relatingto their burgeoning ties with China. Economically, Biden's advisers are seeking assurances from the Saudis that they will not replace the U.S. dollar as the currency of exchange in global energy markets. Over the past year and a half, the Saudis have agreed to sell their oil to the Chinese in yuan. The problem with the U.S. position is that it was the Biden administrationitself that created the opening for a parallel market for energy sales not tied to the petrodollar. The Biden administration responded to Russia's invasion of Ukraine 18 months ago by imposing unprecedented economic sanctions on Russia's international trade. Among otherthings, it barred the purchase of Russian oil. But price increases in the global energy market as a consequence of the move made it unsustainable. Russia was quick to respond in cooperation with China, India and other key economies by setting up alternative, non-dollar-denominated energy markets. If the United Stateswants to restore the petrodollar's position as the sole currency of exchange in the global energy markets, then it has to scale back its anti-Russian sanctions or massively increase its own oil production to increase supply in the international market. Obviously, such policies require shifts both in the administration's domestic energy policies and in its Russia policies. The likelihood of such moves on the eve of a presidentialelection, when Biden needs to keep progressive activists in his camp is not high. As for technology, the Journal reported the Biden administration is demanding that the Saudis limit their use of Chinese Huawei 5G technology. The issue of Chinese 5G technology is similarly complicated and at least in part, driven by U.S. structural weaknesses. As Carice Witte, executive director of SIGNAL (Sino-IsraelGlobal Network and Academic Leadership), explained on "The Caroline Glick Show" in early July, China is building Saudi Arabia's new technology-based city Neom. The United States, whose oil companies and contractors built Saudi Arabia's oil industry and muchof the country itself in the 20th century, is no longer in the business of building cities. As for technology, America offers its allies no real alternative to Huawei's 5G communication infrastructure. Israel is the only U.S. ally in the Middle East and one of just a few U.S. allies worldwide that have banned use of Huawei systems in their territories. Non-Chinese alternativesare available. In some cases, they are inferior. In some cases, they are more expensive. To convince the Saudis to embrace them, the administration will need to make significant changes in its strategic outlook and positioning in the region. The Journal reported that the United States seeks assurances from the Saudis that they will not permit the Chinese to build and operate military bases on Saudi territory--asthe United Arab Emirates has done. This demand is eminently doable. But it draws us into the much more significant issue of credibility of the U.S.-Saudi alliance, and for that matter, the U.S.-Israel alliance. The American demand that the Saudis not permit China to build military bases in the Kingdom is directly related to the three security demands that the Saudis have presentedto the United States as conditions for a U.S.-brokered peace deal with Israel. The Saudis seek U.S. cooperation in the development of peaceful nuclear-energy capabilities for the Kingdom; recognition as a major non-NATO ally from the United States andan end to the limits the administration placed on weapons sales in Saudi Arabia in 2021. Progressives in Congress are expected to oppose all three Saudi demands. And their opposition in part is aligned with the administration's own positions. Biden and his advisersran for office on a foreign-policy platform that was harshly critical of Mohammed bin Salman specifically and the Saudis more generally, and openly supportive of the Islamic regime in Iran. On the face of things, the administration can easily undo what it has done. It can end the limitations on arms sales. And it can certainly give Saudi Arabia the status ofmajor non-NATO ally. After all, Biden gave that status to Qatar in 2021 even as Qatar sponsors Hamas, the Taliban and Al-Qaeda, and remains Iran's top ally in the Arab world. As for the peaceful nuclear-energy demand, the administration can render the issue moot by blocking Iran's path to a nuclear arsenal. All of these actions are possible. But they all require a realignment of the administration's strategic position in the region. For the administration to satisfy the Saudis'demands, it needs to abandon its efforts to replace Saudi Arabia and Israel with Iran as the U.S.'s chief partners and allies in the region. This means the administration needs to end its nuclear diplomacy with Teheran, or fundamentally change its positionfrom supporting Iran's nuclear-weapons program, to active backing of Israeli-Saudi efforts to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear-armed state. The Saudis are not blind. They understand that after America's failed wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, there is little to no public support in the United States for a significantbuild-up of military forces in the region, much less for active U.S. involvement in a major military push to prevent Iran from crossing the nuclear finish line. This is why a U.S. realignment away from Iran and towards Israel and Saudi Arabia becomes critical. If Washington wishes to both maintain its position as the preeminent superpower in the region, scaling back China's inroads and at a minimum, containing Russia, it needs toprovide its currently spurned strategic regional allies--Israel and Saudi Arabia--with certain strategic and diplomatic guarantees. It needs to stand with them diplomatically against Iran, shielding both countries from assaults at the United Nations, amongother things. It needs to provide them with the military materiel and logistical support through Central Command to enable them to take the necessary actions to block Iran's efforts to build and maintain nuclear warheads. If the Biden administration does these things, it will secure America's position in the region. It will also see significant advances in its economic and technological demandsfrom Saudi Arabia regarding China. It will likely receive significant responsiveness from other states in the region as well. But to implement this policy, the administration must first abandon its efforts to embrace and appease Iran. White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby responded on Wednesday afternoon to The Wall Street Journal report saying, "There is no agreed-to framework to codifynormalization or any of the security considerations that we and our friends have in the region." In other words, as of Aug. 9, the White House remains unwilling to shift its strategic posture in the region. The postscript of this state of affairs is the headline of the Journal article: Saudi-Israel ties. In an interview with Bloomberg on Monday, Israeli Prime Minister BenjaminNetanyahu made clear the direction that those ties are moving. "There is an economic corridor of energy transport and communications that naturally goes through our geography ... from Asia to the Arabian Peninsula to Europe. We're goingto realize that," Netanyahu said. Crucially, he added: "By the way, my sense is that we're going to realize that ... whether we have formal peace or not." In previous statements, Netanyahu detailed that he foresees the construction of direct rail links between the UAE and Saudi Arabia through Jordan to the Mediterranean. Goodsshipped this way will augment maritime travel through the Suez Canal, which is already operating at full capacity. It will also economically and technologically integrate Israel into the region. So, from a practical perspective then, the only thing requiredto actually "normalize" Israeli-Saudi ties is the railroad--or even expanded highways for truck-based transport. Such an infrastructure link between Israel and Saudi Arabia move won't diminish Chinese influence in the region. It won't diminish Russian influence or expand U.S. influence. And that is why the deal on the table isn't so much Israel-Saudi peace. It is the future role the United States wishes to play. If Biden seeks to secure U.S. power in the region, he will abandon Obama's failed policy of aligning with the U.S.'s most powerful regional enemy against its most powerfulregional allies and embrace them, and the formal normalization of their relations. If Biden fails to take this deal, the current regional dynamics will continue to play out. China will continue to rise. Russia will remain powerful. The United States willcontinue to bleed power and influence. America's spurned allies will continue to make the required concessions to the changing superpower dynamics. They will also continue to integrate their economies to strengthen their national positions in the face of the rising threat from Iran and the shifting superpower balancein the region. -------------------------------------- Signs In World Politics: A Re-Emerging Threat and A Dwindling Power By Tim Moore - https://harbingersdaily.com/signs-in-world-politics-a-re-emerging-threat-and-a-dwindling-power/ The prophesied end-time state of the nations or what we call the Sign of World Politics is coming into alignment. In Part 1, we looked at what the Bible prophesies concerningthe European Union. Next we will look at what the Bible prophesies concerning Russia and the United States. Russia Will Re-Emerge As A Major Threat In the 2012 Presidential campaign, Republican Mitt Romney asserted that in spite of the subsided Cold War, Russia was a rising threat to America and the world. President BarakObama scoffed at him, responding, the 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back, because the Cold War has been over for 20 years. Just four years later, Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton would claim that Donald Trump was colluding withAmericas most formidable foe: Russia. Clearly, rumors of the Russian Bears demise were premature. Of late, Russia has again been denounced as a pariah state led by an unmitigated despot. The scorn heaped on Russia is greater than anything Ronald Reagan voiced and heis the one that labeled the Soviet Union an evil empire. Students of Bible prophecy knew in the early 1990s that declarations of Russias pacification were premature. While it was nice to hope that American and Soviet militarieswere reducing their hair-trigger nuclear forces, the perestroika and glasnost (Russian for reform and openness) that broke out was short-lived. Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 describe an end-time configuration of nations that participate in what he calls the Gog-Magog War. Gog is the name or title of a leader from anation located in the remotest parts of the north named Rosh. That nation was populated by ancient Scythians and is known today as Russia. Ezekiel 38:12 describes the motive that will compel Gog: he will come down from Russia leading a coalition of nations to plunder Israels wealth. This axis of evil will includeMagog, Meshech, Tubal, Persia, Ethiopia, Put, Gomer, and Beth-togarmah (Ezekiel 38:3-6). The modern nations that comprise the ancient territory of Magog likely includes Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and possibly Afghanistan.Turkey, along with Azerbaijan and Armenia lie where Meshech, Tubal, Gomer, and Beth-togarmah once lay. Persia obviously became modern Iran, ancient Ethiopia now includes Sudan, and Put has become Libya and possibly Algeria and Tunisia. The unifying feature of the nations that will align with Russia is that they are Muslim. What Israeli wealth might motivate this motley crew? Today it could be energy in theform of massive quantities of natural gas or cutting edge technology both of which Israel has become well-known to possess. Ezekiel is very clear. The invasion will be thwarted by a supernatural intervention by God. On the mountains of Israel, He will personallydefeat this massive army, humiliating Israels antagonists and making His Holy Name known in the midst of Israel and the nations of the world (Ezekiel 38:1-7). This demonstration of the providence and protection of the God of Israel will further discredit Islam, likely pushing it aside as a threat to the world. What About American Power? Throughout the previous discussion of Gog and Magog, there was no mention of the United States. At present, America is Israels strongest ally (although that relationshipis quite strained under the current Biden administration). So, where is the USA as Israel faces an existential threat from the north? Absent from the scene. Many people are surprised to hear that America does not play an apparent role in Bible prophecy. Given our superpower status for the past 75 years, they wonder how we coulddisappear so quickly or be so inconsequential to end times events. Some people even assert that when Revelation 12:14 tells of the woman (Israel) fleeing from the dragon on two wings of the great eagle, that must refer to America because the bald eagle isour national bird. I simply point out that 26 nations have an eagle as their national symbol, including Albania, Mexico, Poland, and Zimbabwe. No, Johns prophetic reference to a great eagle ties back to Deuteronomy 32:11, where Moses poetically describesGod like an eagle that hovers over its young and spreads its wings to catch, carry, and guide them. I absolutely believe the United States is in a state of decline. The dramatic degradation of our power may come over a period of time like the Roman Empire and so many othersthat have risen and fallen before us. Or, it may come very quickly following the Rapture of the Church from the world. Either way, the other nations of the world will sit idly by as Gog-Magog descends on Israel perhaps motivated by growing antisemitism. And, as the power of the United Statesebbs away, there is another predator nation poised to ascend to world dominance. In the third and final part of this series covering the end times sign of world politics, we will look at what the Bible prophesies concerning China, Israel, and the comingone-world government. --------------------------- Worldview with Amir Tsarfati: War, Terror, And Calls For Global Government- ByAmir Tsarfati - https://harbingersdaily.com/worldview-with-amir-tsarfati-war-terror-and-calls-for-global-government/ Midday yesterday, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported that the US and Saudi Arabia have agreed to the broad contours of a deal for Saudi Arabia to recognize Israel. AsIve reported several times in the past, included in the agreement would be a US guarantee of Saudi Arabias safety, assistance by Washington in civilian nuclear development, and some significant concessions by Israel regarding the Palestinians. The news media went wild, and many people couldnt contain their excitement. Where you didnt find excitement was in Israels leadership who are not at all ready to budgeon Palestinian issues, a position that hadnt been a block in Saudi/Israeli relations until the US made it one. But before the media had an opportunity to joyfully denounce Israel, the US National Security Council Spokesman John Kirby threw cold water on the WSJ report saying, Justto be blunt here, the reporting has left some people with the impression that the discussions are further along and closer to a sense of certainty than they are. So, who do you believe? When it comes to Middle East politics, the answer is usually no one. Terror Attack in Tel Aviv Last Saturday in Tel Aviv, two municipal security officers noticed a man acting suspiciously. As they approached him, the man pulled out a gun and opened fire. One officerwas struck, while the second returned fire hitting the gunman. Both the 42-year-old security man and the 22-year-old member of the terrorist group Palestinian Islamic Jihad eventually died of their injuries. The officer, Chen Amir, left behind a wife and threedaughters. Israeli Air Force Hits Syria Israel hit Syria early Monday morning with a missile attack. Four Syrian soldiers died in the strike, and four more were wounded. Per usual, Israel declined to comment. Lebanon is on the Brink of War The economy has collapsed. The government is run by an Iranian-backed terrorist group. Soldiers are firing on civilians. Thousands of citizens are fleeing the country, whileother nations are pulling out all their embassy staff. And the Hezbollah leadership is consistently speaking words of war toward Israel. It truly breaks my heart to see this. I love the Lebanese people, but they are being held hostage by Hezbollah. On Tuesday, head of Irans Quds Force, Esmail Qaani, landed in Lebanon. He was there to coordinate the final details for an attack on US forces in Syria and on Israel fromLebanon. Whats the motivation behind the escalations? Iran wants Hezbollah to go to war with Israel, so that the attention is diverted away from their nuclear program. Hezbollah, on the other hand, needs a war to divert attention away from how they have trashed the country. Unfortunately, war will not go well for the Lebanese people. OnTuesday, Israels Defense Minister Yoav Gallant looked out over Lebanon from his vantage point on Mount Dov and warned Hezbollahs leader, Hassan Nasrallah, to not make a mistake and attack. He said that if an escalation or conflict develops here, we will return Lebanon to the Stone Age. We will not hesitate to use all our power and erode every inch of Hezbollahand Lebanon if we have to. Lets pray it doesnt come to that. US Readies for Action in Syria In the skies above Syria a couple weeks ago, a Russian Sukhoi Su-35 fighter jet dropped flares in front of a US MQ-9 Reaper drone during an extremely close fly by. This actionseverely damaged the drones propellor, forcing it back to base. Down on the ground, Irans proxy militias are preparing for a major strike on US bases east of the Euphrates River. This is all part of Irans ultimate goals of destroying Israel and getting the US out of the Middle East. That goal of the USs departure is shared by Iran and Russia. Neitherwill likely use their own forces to accomplish it, but they have thousands of Islamist terrorists who are more than happy to do their bidding. 3000 US Personnel Arrive in Persian Gulf As Iran continues to stir up tensions in Gulf waters, Washington has moved more than 3000 personnel to the Red Sea aboard two warships. In the past two years, Iran has seizedor attempted to seize more than 20 ships. The USS Bataan and USS Carter Hall have been sent to deter this activity, bringing sailors and marines to the Fifth Fleet to deter destabilizing activity and de-escalateregional tensions caused by Irans harassment, said Fifth Fleet spokesman Commander Tim Hawkins. And the Battle Drags On. The war still rages between Russia and Ukraine. Kyiv scored a victory by damaging a Russian battleship with an unmanned suicide vessel. Russia pounded Ukraine with fresh airattacks. Tens of thousands of soldiers are dying each month in this brutal conflict. In order to replenish their ranks, the Kremlin has notified the UN of its intent to order martial law in Russia. This is often a prelude to widespread mobilization. Meanwhile,a Ukrainian woman was arrested last week, accused of providing information to Moscow for an assassination attempt on President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Nations Shoring Up Borders with Belarus What was with the whole Wagner Group coup attempt against Vladimir Putin? Were they really marching on Moscow to take him down, or was there another reason for their actions? If youll remember, I always thought there was more going on than met the eye, and now it seems we can see their strategy. While some of the Wagner Group troops have shown up in Niger (see below), many others have found their way to Belarus. Poland has grown very concerned that they are the reasonthis mercenary force has appeared on the other side of their border, particularly when Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has been claiming that he is having to restrain Wagner forces from attacking them. Already they have begun to shore up their borderforce and they are now sending 2000 more troops. Lithuania and Latvia are also transporting troops to their borders with Belarus. Russia Deepens Influence in Africa As Russia struggles in Ukraine, their plans appear to be going very well in Africa. Not only do they now have a very pro-Russian leader in Niger after the coup, but Moscowplans to reopen its embassy in Burkina Faso after 31 years. Mali and Guinea also fall into the pro-Niger coup, friends of Russia category. The tension is just going to grow in Western Africa between pro-Western and pro-Russian nations. A number of countries were prepared to liberate Niger from the coup, but WagnerGroup forces arrived in Niamey before they could launch. This appears to have been enough to cow Nigeria, whose senate voted to authorize sanctions against their northern neighbor but declined to approve military force. Without Nigeria, the collective Africanforce has been greatly handicapped. Brazilian President Calls for Global Government Radical leftist President Luiz Incio Lula da Silva of Brazil is concerned about the deforestation of the rain forests. His solution? Create rules for preservation, thenestablish a new global government to enforce them. His plan is to restructure the United Nations into a stronger body with more enforcement capabilities. For years, I have been saying that climate change will be the basis for the coming one world religion.Lula sees it as the excuse for a one world government. -------------------------------
