First, according to Pope Francis, those that believe the Bible is literally true are a scourge (a hinderance or troublemakers) upon this planet.

 

The Pope's criticism stems from his heavy involvement in the promotion of world government and world religion.

 

He appears to not believe the verses in the Bible that say the coming world government and world religion will be evil (satanic).

 

Somewhat significant is the fact that he is attacking those that do believe what the Bible says, because the head of the coming world religion will persecute believers.

 

Last week, Pope Francis expressed support for the Two-State solution (dividing the land of Israel).

 

Again, he obviously doesn't believe the Bible when it says God made a covenant to give all of the land of Israel to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in their generations forever (Israel).

 

And he also doesn't believe the Bible when it says that God will drag the nations into the Battle of Armageddon for scattering His people and dividing His land.

 

Come to think of it, Pope Francis is a Jesuit, a group of Catholics that is famous for opposing the publication of the first King James Version Bible.

 

They even tried to assassinate King James to prevent the Bible from being published "in the language of the common people."

 

They preferred to tell people what the Bible says rather than let them read it for themselves, and this has apparently not changed with Pope Francis.

 

People that rely upon an unbeliever to tell them what the Bible says are in danger.

 

Second, U.S. sanctions on Iran are working, and the Iranian people are suffering.

 

Iran has admitted killing about 1,000 demonstrators, wounding thousands and jailing thousands more, and, for the most part, world leaders are strangely silent.

 

Sadly, their silence will probably continue until Israel injures a Palestinian terrorist in Gaza.

 

Then, they will suddenly become indignant.

 

Third, the day when nations are afraid of a powerful U.S. military is over.

 

On Dec. 3, 2019, Iranian-supported Shiite Iraqi terrorists fired five rockets into a large U.S. military base in Iraq.

 

They were not afraid to attack a U.S. base.

 

The U.S. responded by attacking the rocket launchers.

 

Fourth, on Dec. 1, 2019, Pres. Trump spoke on the phone to Prime Min. Netanyahu.

 

Some reports said they finalized plans for military coordination against Iran.

 

This is a little vague, but it doesn't bode well for Iran.

 

Fifth, on Dec, 5, 2019, it was reported that the UK, France and Germany have notified the UN that Iran is developing missiles that can deliver nuclear weapons.

 

Some past reports say that Iran could have enough enriched nuclear material to build a bomb by the end of Dec. 2019, and the U.S. and Israel have said they will not let that happen.

 

With Iran building the missiles and enriching the uranium, it seems obvious that a major escalation of events is coming.

 

This article is short, but my schedule has been overwhelming lately, and I am leaving town for an interview and a conference.

Something is causing the waters just off the west coast to heat up dramatically, fish are dying off in staggering numbers, birds that feed on those fish are also dying off rapidly, and scientists have discovered 15,000 holes in the ocean floor off the coast of California.

 

Oh, and scientists don't know for certain why any of these things are happening.

 

Unfortunately, the mainstream media is not emphasizing this crisis, and so most Americans don't even know what is going on. But the truth is that what we are facing is extremely serious.

 

In fact, officials have taken the "unprecedented" step of shutting down the federal cod fishery in Alaska for the year because of the lack of fish. We are seeing things happen that we have never seen before, and this is definitely going to affect our food supply.

 

So why are the fish dying?

 

Well, nobody knows for sure, but some officials are blaming the "marine heatwave" that has been happening in the waters along the west coast. The following comes from KING5 News...

 

A massive warmer-than-normal pool of water that's formed in the Pacific Ocean off the Washington coast and up into the Gulf of Alaska may already be wreaking havoc with our weather.

 

This is something that I have written about previously. Scientists are telling us that water temperatures are "as much as 6 degrees Fahrenheit above normal", and if such conditions persist we could see millions upon millions of fish die.

 

At this point, we are being told that this vast expanse of water is roughly "1,000 to 2,000 miles" in size in the eastern Pacific Ocean.

 

Hopefully, this "blob" will go away soon, but that hasn't happened so far, and nobody really knows what is causing it.

 

Meanwhile, fish are dying off at an absolutely staggering rate. As I mentioned above, there are so few cod off the coast of Alaska right now that officials felt that it was necessary to shut down the federal cod fishery for the entire year...

 

In an unprecedented response to historically low numbers of Pacific cod, the federal cod fishery in the Gulf of Alaska is closing for the 2020 season. It's a decision that came as little surprise, but it's the first time the fishery has closed due to concerns of low stock.

 

When I first heard about that, I was quite stunned.

 

And the outlook for the future looks quite grim because officials are telling us that there are "next to no" new eggs...

 

A stock assessment this fall put Gulf cod populations at a historic low, with "next to no" new eggs, according to NOAA research biologist Steve Barbeaux, who authored the report.

 

At their current numbers, cod are below the federal threshold that protects them as a food source for endangered Steller sea lions. Once below that line, the total allowable catch goes to zero -- in other words, the fishery shuts down.

 

The birds that feed on those fish are also dying off in large numbers.

 

Because of a severe lack of fish, they are literally dropping dead from starvation, and at this point, there isn't much that officials can do about it. The following comes from the Big Wobble...

 

In November 2019, thousands of short-tailed shearwaters birds migrating from Alaska were washing up dead on Sydney's iconic beaches and the bird deaths had nothing to do with the massive wildfires in the area, thousands more, short-tailed shearwaters were dying out at sea, in what was confirmation of the incredible fish shortages in the Pacific Ocean.

 

The corpses had been spotted at several shorelines including Bondi, Manly and Cronulla. The birds were migrating back to southern Australia to breed after spending the summer in Alaska. But, according to experts, a higher number than usual are dying on the way due to a lack of food.

 

The birds need to be at full strength to make the 14,000km trip over the Pacific but the krill and other fish they feed on have apparently dwindled due to sea temperatures rising.

 

Let us hope that things will return to normal eventually, but there is no guarantee that is going to happen.

 

Our planet is becoming increasingly unstable, and really weird things are starting to take place.

 

Speaking of weird, scientists are telling us that they have found 15,000 holes in the ocean waters off the California coast...

 

Thousands of strange round holes scooped out of the ocean floor have been uncovered along the coast of California.

 

Some measure nearly 600 feet across, but scientists are unsure how they formed.

 

As many as 15,000 holes have been found during an underwater survey by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI).

 

I was quite alarmed when I read that, and even more alarming is the fact that scientists are telling us that the cause of all of these holes "remains a mystery"...

 

"The cause and persistence of the pockmarks still remains a mystery, but we find no evidence they were created from gas or fluid in the sea floor in the recent past. The micro-depressions are recently formed erosional features; they are not 'incipient pockmarks'. Overall, a lot more work needs to be done to understand how all these features were formed, and this work is in progress."

 

For a long time, I have been warning about what is happening to our planet. Volcanoes are going off like firecrackers all over the globe, and there was another major volcanic eruption in New Zealand on Monday. And earthquake activity continues to rise to very troubling levels.

 

In fact, it was recently reported that there have been almost 60,000 earthquakes of at least magnitude 1.5 around the world over the last 12 months...

 

Earthquake tracking website EarthquakeTrack has recorded an astounding 59,841 tremors around the globe in the last 365 days on December 9. In the last 30 days, a total of 4,172 tremors higher than magnitude 1.5 were felt and 895 hit in the last seven days.

 

The official story is that everything is just fine and our planet will start behaving normally again soon.

 

But unofficially, a lot of scientists out there are deeply concerned about what we are witnessing.

 

A great shaking has begun, and nobody is quite sure what is going to happen next.

The number one sign of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is the convergence of all the signs He said to look for. Jesus said, "When you see all these things take place, look up! Your salvation draws near" (Luke 21:28). What are the things Jesus and the prophets said to look for? Israel back in the land (Jeremiah 23:7-8)... The Jewish people back in control of Jerusalem (Luke 21:24)... The Gospel being preached to the whole world (Matthew 24:14)... And more.

 

Today, we see these signs. Because we do, we can be confident we live in the season of His return. But Jesus cited other signs too. So did the prophets. And we see those signs as well.

 

As 2019 draws to a close, what were the biggest prophetic news stories? Below is a list of what I believe were the top three:

 

1) Syria: The U.S. Moves Out, While Turkey Moves In

 

In early October, the United States withdrew from northeastern Syria. A few days later, Turkey invaded. This continued an ongoing trend in Syria. It's a trend that sets the stage for fulfillment of bible prophecy.

 

Ezekiel said an invading force of many nations will attack Israel in the last days. In Ezekiel 38-39, he describes this force as coming from the north of Israel, and he says a man named Gog will lead them (Ezekiel 38:2-6). Below are the nations involved, followed by their modern day names:

 

Rosh = Russia

Magog = Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan

Persia = Iran

Cush = Sudan

Put = Libya

Meshech, Tubal, Gomer, and Beth-togarmah = Turkey

 

If you've paid attention to the news, one thing from this list jumps out at you. The three most powerful nations - Russia, Iran, and Turkey - now reside in Syria. The decreased U.S. presence in Syria paves the way for further influence from these three nations. The leaders of Russia, Iran, and Turkey have met several times to coordinate their military forces.

 

Over the past several years, their alliance has grown stronger, and their joint military forces are right on Israel's border. And they're not just on any border. They're on Israel's northern border. Why does this matter? Because Ezekiel said this invasion force will come from the north (Ezekiel 38:15; Ezekiel 39:2).

 

Today, we see the three most powerful nations in Gog's invading force coordinating on Israel's northern border. Never have these three nations been on Israel's northern border at the same time. Never have they cooperated militarily. Until now. This sets the stage for the fulfillment of the Ezekiel 38-39 prophecies. This means eventually, Russia, Iran, Turkey, and the other nations in the Gog of Magog alliance will send an overwhelming invasion force against Israel (Ezekiel 38:8-9).

 

The world will not come to Israel's defense (Ezekiel 38:15-16). But God will. He'll put His full power on display and supernaturally destroy Israel's invaders (Ezekiel 38:18-23). The events of 2019 bring us closer to that day. Expect to see more and more events in Syria to align with Ezekiel's account. Expect Russia, Turkey, and Iran to get closer. Expect other nations to join them. And expect Israel to become more isolated.

 

2) The Saudi Drone Attack

 

September 14, 2019 was a major milestone in the history of warfare. On that day, someone (thought to be Iran) launched a successful drone attack on two oil processing facilities in Saudi Arabia. At the time, almost five percent of the world's daily oil consumption flowed through those two facilities. The news made headlines for a few days.

 

Then, most people quickly forgot about it. But as we look back in the years to come, I think we'll view that day as highly significant. Why? Because it was the first successful large-scale strike in the new era of drone warfare. Saudi Arabia invested millions to secure those facilities. In mere minutes, those defenses proved useless.

 

Unmanned drones have been used on the battlefield for years. But those drones were much larger, and they attacked as part of a larger military campaign. Because of the success of the September 2019 strike, expect to see more drone attacks. Expect to see smaller drones arriving in larger numbers.

 

In the years to come, drones will get smaller. They'll attack in sophisticated swarms piloted with artificial intelligence. Drone swarms are the future of warfare. They can inflict just as much damage as any conventional weapon, and because they're unmanned, the attacking nation can deny any involvement.

 

They're less expensive to build and maintain than large standing armies. They don't require large numbers of highly trained personnel. They can be controlled from a remote, secure location. They can be deployed anywhere in the world, often undetected. They can even evade radar.

 

Because they blend into the environment, they can appear out of nowhere, surprising the enemy. They present a new threat, and most conventional armies are unprepared to defend against them. Drones magnify the military power of smaller nations. They close the gap between weaker nations and world superpowers.

 

The rise of drones is a turning point in modern warfare. Together with artificial intelligence, drones will overturn the post-war stability of MAD. Ultimately, this will lead to World War III and global domination by a single nation. This is exactly what the Bible says will happen in the end times. It says a global war (Revelation 6:4) will lead to a global empire (Revelation 13:7).

 

3) The Continued Popularity of Home Smart Devices

 

Another 2019 trend involved the continued popularity of home smart devices. In millions of homes throughout the world, Amazon, Google, and Apple are watching and listening. Popular devices such as Amazon's Alexa products, Google Home devices, Facebook's Portal, and Ring doorbells have placed cameras and listening devices in people's homes.

 

Next time you go somewhere, take a moment to identify all the cameras around you. They're everywhere, and they'll only get more powerful. This isn't surprising. Many people have long foreseen the rise of an intrusive government surveillance state.

 

What hasn't been foreseen is the willingness of so many people to aid in their own surveillance. Of their own free will, people have placed eavesdropping devices in their own homes, sometimes in their own bedrooms - allowing corporations, governments, and hackers to record their conversations and view their interactions.

 

Even if you avoid all these devices, you'll find it hard to escape their watchful eye. Millions now have doorbell cameras recording everyone who comes and goes. Depending on their placement, these cameras are capable of recording everyone who comes and goes from every house in an entire neighborhood. In addition, other people can upload pictures of you on Facebook.

 

Even if they don't tag or identify you, Facebook often will. Through its facial recognition technology, it automatically tags people. Even if you don't have Alexa or Siri devices, if you're in the home of someone who does or within earshot of such a device, you're at risk of being listened to and recorded.

 

Do you trust all this personal and private information in the hands of a large corporation? What about your government? And what about foreign governments who will find it more than easy to hack into these devices?

 

As technology advances, devices like these will become smaller, cheaper, and far more powerful. Cameras and microphones will cover every square inch of the world. And ever more powerful forms of artificial intelligence will search those camera and audio feeds. What will they search for? They could search for you. A government in control of such a system will know everything you do and say.

 

In 2020, this trend will continue. These technologies will build the foundation for a totalitarian global government. The Bible says such a government will appear in the last days (Daniel 2:40). It will trample and devour the whole earth (Daniel 7:23). No one will be able to oppose it (Revelation 13:4), and it will have such total control over daily life, no one will be able to buy or sell anything without its permission (Revelation 13:7). The rise of the modern surveillance state is just the latest sign we're approaching the fulfillment of these prophecies.

 

What to Look for in 2020

 

Hopefully, Jesus will return in the last few days of 2019. But whether He does or doesn't, expect these same trends to continue in 2020. Look for increasing cooperation between Russia, Iran, and Turkey in Syria. Look for drones to become smaller, operate in larger numbers, and become more powerful. We may even see a Pearl Harbor-like event utilizing drone technology.

 

Look for smart devices connected to the Internet to spread into even more homes. All of these things and more will probably mark 2020. This is why the #1 thing you should look for is the return of our Savior. As we enter the new year, all the signs tell us, "Jesus is coming!"

The latest fighting in Gaza is the tip of the iceberg

 

Israel's southern population came under attack once again in November 2019. The Iran-backed terrorist group Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) fired more than 450 rockets into Israel from the Gaza Strip. Israelis sprinted to shelters, and the Iron Dome air-defense system once again shielded them from the onslaught. Thousands of miles from the action, sitting in the back seat of an Uber, I was on the phone with an Israeli official on the Gaza border who explained to me, without hesitation, that Israel had picked this fight.

 

There would be no attempt to spin this, the official said, even as rockets hurtled across the sky above him. Israel fired first, he said, by liquidating Baha Abu al-Ata, the PIJ military commander in the Gaza Strip. Israel tracked him for months, but he always surrounded himself with human shields. So the Israelis stalked him-and when, at last, he failed to shield himself with living human bodies, they struck with deadly precision. The Israeli Air Force did not just isolate its strike to the building, or the floor of the building, or the room on that floor. It struck al-Ata in his bed, reportedly with only his wife at his side. No one else in the building was hurt.

 

PIJ, in consultation with the group's paymasters in Tehran, responded with predictable ferocity. Yet as rocket fire increased, and even when occasional volleys pierced the Iron Dome's defenses (one struck a highway near the town of Ashdod, narrowly missing traffic), Israel's decision makers demonstrated remarkable restraint. As the official on the phone explained to me, the Israeli Air Force was calmly and selectively taking out PIJ military leaders and operatives when they had a clear shot. The majority of the bombing runs, however, were aimed at PIJ rocket stores. "We're hunting rockets," the official said flatly.

 

That kind of cool-headed discipline would not be possible without the Iron Dome system. When rockets are prevented from hitting their intended targets, Israeli officials don't hear calls from the public to send in ground troops. And for most defense officials (at least in this current government), there is no desire to escalate in Gaza. Even as it takes out occasional targets of opportunity, Israel prefers to keep its powder dry. The real danger lies to the north, where a brutal conflict is brewing.

 

Over the past five years, the Israelis have been fighting a quiet war nearly every night. During what is now known as the "Campaign Between Wars" or "War Between Wars," the Israelis have taken out high-value targets-more than 200 of them, according to estimates published last year, and it's probably closer to 300 now-from Syria and Iraq to Lebanon and beyond. As early as 2013, the Israelis spoke euphemistically about such strikes, noting that they were targeting "game-changing weapons" that Iran was transferring to its proxies amid the chaos of Syria's civil war.

Recently, the Israelis have become much more specific. Their targets are precision-guided munitions, or PGMs.

 

Until now, Israel has been blessed with ill-equipped enemies. The efforts of Iranian proxies such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and PIJ have been mitigated by Iron Dome, which has an 86 percent success rate (some Israeli officials say it's even higher) in neutralizing incoming enemy projectiles. That rate is boosted by the fact that Israel's foes have been firing unguided, or "dumb," rockets. Without GPS or target-acquisition capabilities, many of these rockets undershoot or overshoot their intended targets. When Iron Dome assesses a rocket's errant trajectory, it declines to intercept it and allows it to explode in an uninhabited space.

 

Iran is now working overtime to establish a program that will allow its proxies to convert their dumb rockets into smart ones. The United States began a process of converting its own unguided rockets into PGMs back in the late 1990s. The Israelis utilized similar technology. The result was the deadly Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM). If the Iranian project proves similarly successful, Israel's enemies will achieve the capability of striking within five to 10 yards of their intended targets.

 

Converting an unguided rocket (what some Israeli military types call "statistical" rockets) into a precision-guided munition is both simple and complicated. It's simple because all it takes are tail fins, a circuit board, and the right software. One former Israeli official estimates that an entire PGM-making kit might cost as little as $15,000 per munition. But it's also complicated because dismantling a rocket to retrofit it with precision-guided technology and then reassembling it requires knowledge and infrastructure that Iran's low-tech proxies don't have. They are laboring to acquire them. But with the Israelis patrolling from the skies with remarkably accurate intelligence, the tasks of transporting parts and assembling PGMs have become hazardous. Israel's estimated 300 strikes in recent years have reduced the PGM talent pool and destroyed a significant amount of hardware.

 

Iran and Israel have been playing a quiet game of chess across the Middle East-difficult for the casual observer to discern but punctuated by the periodic explosion. The Iranian effort continues despite the occasional setbacks. And so does the Israeli effort, which is thankless and time-intensive. Both sides understand that when enough PGMs reach the hands of Israel's enemies, the effect will indeed be game-changing.

 

First, PGMs will force Israel to use far more Iron Dome interceptors than it currently deploys. The cost of each ranges roughly from $50,000 to $100,000. Thus, defending Israel could soon become much more expensive. If Israel had been forced to shoot down all 450 PIJ rocket volleys with Iron Dome in November, the cost would have been as much as $45 million.

 

More worrying, with enough PGMs fired at the same target, Iran's proxies may be able to outmaneuver, outsmart, or overwhelm Israeli missile-defense systems, with the result that one or more rockets would get through. Hamas already claims to be able to do this with its unguided rockets. Such claims are dubious now. But in the future, if the intended target is the chemical plant in Haifa, the Kiriya (Israel's defense headquarters) in Tel Aviv, Ben Gurion International Airport, or a Tel Aviv office building, the results could be catastrophic. As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's former national-security adviser Jacob Nagel recently told me, "with enough PGMs, the impact on certain targets could be close to the impact of a nuclear weapon." He adds that, for this reason, "after the Iranian nuclear threat, Israeli leaders cite the PGM threat as next on their list."

 

Currently, the Israelis believe that the Lebanese terrorist organization Hezbollah is the only Iranian proxy group that possesses Iranian PGMs in any significant number. The Israelis are not saying how many Hezbollah has. But they acknowledge that the efforts to interdict PGMs or PGM parts have not completely prevented the technology from reaching Iran's Lebanese surrogate. And Hezbollah continues to work feverishly on this project.

 

Netanyahu also recently indicated that the Iranian proxy in Yemen, the Houthis, may also have PGMs. So far, the Houthis have targeted only Saudi Arabia with simple rockets, cruise missiles, and drones. Netanyahu's warning implies that the group may one day target Israel with long-range PGMs at Iran's urging.

 

Of course, the Iranians have their own arsenal of PGMs-more formidable ones. They are not retrofitted but rather built from scratch. And some of them are even immune to GPS-jamming systems, which is one of the best countermeasures Israel has against these munitions.

 

Israel's military brass would much rather destroy PGMs on the ground than intercept them in the air. One problem they have is patrolling the vast territory Iran controls to build, store, and launch its munitions.

 

Iran has, for the past five years, been building a land bridge extending across the Levant. The ultimate goal is to establish hegemony across the region. But the short-term goal is far more attainable: to control, via proxy, territory stretching from western Iran through Iraq, into Syria, through Lebanon, and all the way to Israel's doorstep. In addition to deploying Hezbollah in Lebanon, Iran is using the Assad regime in Syria and Shiite militias in Iraq to maintain this real estate. Some question whether these proxies would dare fire on Israel with PGMs. The Israelis have answered that question, in part, with those punishing air strikes on Iranian assets in Iraq and Syria.

 

Critics assert that Netanyahu has cynically used such strikes as a means to campaign as the tougher defense candidate during Israel's unprecedented two rounds of stalemated elections in 2019. But Israeli strikes in Iraq and Syria were not optional in the eyes of the country's military planners. Iranian PGMs, or at least PGM parts or infrastructure, were thought to be there.

 

Targeting precision-guided munitions will become even more complicated in the future. The regime in Iran is not only working assiduously to obscure their transport and assembly. It is also devising ways to store them under homes, schools, hospitals, apartment buildings, refugee camps, and other heavily populated civilian infrastructure. Israel has already dealt with this problem in Gaza. Hamas conducts military operations from within civilian population centers. The Israelis warn that it will be worse in Lebanon, with Hezbollah's arsenal already strategically embedded in civilian areas. PGMs of an unknown quantity will be among these caches. The decision to strike these weapons on the ground will be excruciating for the IDF. And every strike will create immense public-relations damage, as images of injured or dead civilians fill the television screens and Twitter feeds of news consumers worldwide.

 

Of course, Israel is not the only country forced to deal with this problem. The United States has encountered human shields on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan, too. The prevalence of the problem prompted President Donald Trump to sign into law the "Sanctioning the Use of Civilians as Defenseless Shields Act." The bill passed unanimously in both the House and Senate before reaching the president's desk in December 2018. A variant of the bill is also circulating at the United Nations.

 

These measures are important for two reasons. First, when those complicit in building the human-shields infrastructure (tunnels, bunkers, and storage facilities, for example) know they can be sanctioned by the U.S. government or even the UN, they may be less inclined to contribute to this cynical project. Being named can have an immediate impact among the local population, which (with a few exceptions) would not appreciate being treated like cannon fodder.

 

More important, these measures can enhance the operational legitimacy and freedom of the Israel Defense Force in future conflicts. Once it has been established that targeting human-shields infrastructure is legal and protected from international opprobrium (to some extent), Israel's enemies lose one of their key advantages.

 

Unfortunately for Israel, no amount of inspired legislation will stop Hezbollah or Iran's other proxy groups from pursuing this precision project. If anything, when the Iranian PGM project comes online, the only significant disruption to the status quo will be inside Israel.

 

With PGMs, the era of Iron Dome's total dominance may come to an end. This does not mean that the Israelis will stop using this remarkable system to protect its citizens from incoming rockets. But barring significant improvements to counter PGMs, Iron Dome may no longer provide the Israeli leadership with the luxury of time to weigh their options when they must respond to a hailstorm of precision strikes.

 

Should PGMs pierce Israel's defenses and hit more of the intended targets, the Israeli public will demand a response. The political and military leadership will be forced to respond more rapidly and with greater force. This will increase the odds of mistakes on the battlefield and thus the odds of escalation. And if PGMs are fired from multiple locations, the natural result will be a multifront war.

 

If Israel doesn't find a way to halt Iran's PGM project, the very character of its wars will change. Despite a steady stream of attacks perpetrated by their enemies in recent years, the Israelis have not needed to fight long or particularly bloody wars. Instead, they have been conducting limited operations. Israel has, in fact, often been able to determine the beginning and end of these flare-ups. Iron Dome's ability to neutralize rudimentary rockets has made that possible. But now, with PGMs in play, Israel may no longer be able to dictate the terms of conflict when its enemies want one.

 

And let there be no doubt: They want one.

As I stated in my previous article, In the Midst, "If the Lord does return to the earth on a future Feast of Trumpets/Rosh Hashanah day, the time frame of the seven-years preceding it now come into view. To begin the hypothetical dating process of the seven years of the Tribulation/Jacob's Trouble you must travel in time to a future (a minimum of seven years from now) Feast of Trumpets day and then work your way back through the past and into the present." {1}

 

There will probably be a considerable gap of time between the Rapture and the start of the Tribulation. A short time after the Rapture, there will be the development of a one-world government that will then split up into ten kingdoms. Following the division of the world into ten kingdoms, the Antichrist will begin his rise to power. He will eventually kill three of the kings and take control of their kingdoms. "And another shall arise after them; and he shall be diverse from the former, and he shall put down three kings" (Daniel 7;24). Soon after, the remaining 7 kings will give control of their kingdoms to him.

 

"The Antichrist's rise to power before the Tribulation is a biblical necessity. Since the Tribulation begins with the signing of the seven-year covenant between Israel and the Antichrist, it is necessary for the Antichrist to be in sufficient political power to sign such a covenant." {2}

 

The following is an example with a four-year gap between the Rapture and the start of the Tribulation. I have added even more criteria (than the first article) that must come true in order for this example to be valid. These are the 6 conditions that must be met:

1)         Jesus must return to the battle of Armageddon on a future Feast of Trumpets day (Tishri 1). This will happen 1260 days after the Abomination of Desolation

 

2)     The Antichrist will confirm the covenant with Israel and thus start the Tribulation. This will happen on a Friday, for Jesus was killed on a Thursday in 33 A.D. For proof of this fact go to https://gracethrufaith.com/topical-studies/holidays-and-holy-days/solving-the-three-day-three-night-mystery/. Jesus' crucifixion was on the last day of the 69th week (483rd year) of Daniel's prophecy (Daniel 9:25-26); when he was "cut off". I think it is highly likely that the resumption of the long-delayed 484th year will be on the following day of Friday. The last day of the 490th year (2520 days) will also be on a Friday.

 

3)     1230 days later, the 'in the midst" event known as the Abomination of Desolation, will occur. It will take place on Nisan 10 on the Jewish calendar. The Antichrist will emulate Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem as the king of the Jews on this day. Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey on Nisan 10 in the year A.D. 33. The Antichrist will ride into Jerusalem on the back of a white horse as a conquering king (Revelation 6:2) on this same day in the future.

 

4)     The Gog/Magog war of Ezekiel 38-39 will occur 7 years before the A.O.D. Ezekiel prophesied that the Jews would burn the weapons of the armies of the nations that attacked Israel for a period of seven years (Ezekiel 39:9-10). In Matthew 24:15-17 Jesus warned the people when they see the A.O.D. spoken of by the prophet Daniel, they should flee to the mountains. He told the people to not waste time getting items out of their house, not even their clothes. If this is the case, the Jews that are fleeing will not be taking any of the weapons they confiscated with them as they are fleeing for their lives. The weapons will already have been burned up by this time.

 

5)     The Gog/Magog war will start on Kislev 24 of the Jewish calendar. Haggai describes this war in a very similar way that Ezekiel does with the Gog/Magog war. Haggai even gives the date....the 24th day of the 9th month. Compare Haggai 2:18-22 with Ezekiel 38:18-22.

 

6)     The Rapture will precede the Gog/Magog war. I believe it will only be a small gap of time of months and not years. Of course, this is just an educated guess as the Bible doesn't speak on this issue. After the Rapture, the U.S. of America will no longer be militarily capable to protect Israel against Russia and its allies. They will only be able to give a mild protest to the U.N. regarding this invasion (Ezekiel 38:13).

In this example of possible time frames of the pre-Tribulation and Tribulation world events, there are 7 years and 4 months between the Gog/Magog war and the A.O.D. This satisfies condition #4. The Gog/Magog war starts on Kislev 24, 5781.This would satisfy condition #5. The start of the Tribulation will begin on a Friday (Nov. 24, 2024, thus satisfying condition #2. The in the midst A.O.D. occurs on Nisan 10, 5789 (Apr. 5, 2028), which satisfies condition #3. Jesus' 2nd Coming will occur (in this example) on Tishri 1, 5792 (Sept. 17, 2031). This satisfies condition #1. The end of the Tribulation will occur on Heshvan 21, 5792 (Oct. 17, 2031) on a Friday. This of course also satisfies condition #2.

 

The 7 years between 2024 and 2031 are the only 7 year timelines (between now and 2034) that meet all of the six criteria listed above. In this example, the Rapture would occur sooner rather than later.

In another day and age, there was a demonic dream by a dictator to rule the world. His name was Nimrod and he gathered all the people of the earth on the plain of Shinar to build a tower to reach to heaven. This was after the Noadic flood and man thought they could build a tower higher than any flood and if God brought another one, they would have a tower above the waters. They failed to remember that God said He would not send another flood and put a rainbow in the sky as a promise never to do likewise.

 

9:11 "Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth." (Genesis 9:11)

 

But that really wasn't the real intention of the people during this time. The tower was an afront to God and His command to disperse and repopulate the earth. This was another era that men wanted to stay as one people and with one language and to disobey God's command. And to become a God unto themselves and worship themselves and their dictator who ruled them.

 

Multiculturalism and Globalization

 

Fast forward to this generation and the two words that men are promoting, just as Nimrod promoted in this ancient time period is a one world government and a one world religion. Globalization means the destruction of any nation/state that make any author of globalization traitors to the nation of their birth. These individuals have sold their allegiance to foreign powers to absorb their country in a pipe dream, much as Nimrod did in the tower of Babel.

 

Take the United States for example, we have nothing in common with African nations such as Kenya or Somalia, save they are nations on opposite sides of the planet. But according to the United Nations Globalization Plan, a vote from Washington DC would carry no more weight in decisions affecting foreign policy than a warlord in Africa, whoever the warlord happens to be at any given moment.

 

In the U.N.'s misguided vision, to promote "good will toward men" wishes that nations in Africa enjoys the same living standard, say of my home state of Missouri, even if means lowering the living standards of Missouri to be equal to the living standards of Kenya or any other African nation. Both will live in squalor. It will steal from the rich and give to the poor, or so they say.

 

'Multiculturalism' means having no individual national culture at all. The UN's vision of multiculturalism demands a common language (other than English, the language of the hated West) something along the lines of Esperanto, a nonsense language made up by globalists so that the whole world can be confused at the same time.

 

THE U.N.'s NEFARIOUS SCHEME

 

In the U.N.'s plan on globalization to promote a One World government, they are using the words "globalization and multiculturalism" to disguise a plan to destroy the Western Nations of the world and become the New World Order on the scale of what was envisioned back in the time of Nimrod and the Tower of Babel. If you have studied the effects of Agenda 21 that has morphed into Sustainable Development and Agenda 2030 proposed by this international body of misfits, it is designed for all people and nations to become one with a common language and claims of a Utopian society, but in reality it is designed to control every human being on this planet in their buying and selling, their movements, and even their reproduction rates to a "sustainable level" to guard the environment and save the planet. What does that mean? It means genocide of all non essential individuals that do not contribute to the well being of the collective society. Meaning the old, the disabled, the mentally challenged, and the inferior races. It is the plan of the Third Reich of Hitler on steroids.

 

History has a habit of repeating itself, and according to the Bible, the city of Babel on the plains of Shinar was both globalized and was multicultural, in that everybody followed the same leader (can you say Anti-Christ?) and shared the same culture. (Can you say "Mark of the Beast")

 

In Genesis chapter 11, gives us a glimpse of both who is behind this globalization/multiculturalism and what its purpose really is.

 

First, Scripture tells us, "And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech." It is worthy of note that in the EU's early days, its promotional literature outlined its early goal of 'reversing the Babel Effect.'

 

This seems ironic, but fascinating as the EU is officially a godless state, but on the other hand, its promotional literature openly mirrors the Bible's story in both its application and its intent.

 

By application, the residents of Babel, under the sole dictatorship of Nimrod, attempted to circumvent God's judgment by building a tower 'whose top may reach to heaven' as a refuge -- should God again judge the world by flood.

 

"And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do." (Genesis 11:6)

 

God was hardly afraid that mankind would challenge His Authority. Rather, He knew they would try and what the solution to such a rebellion would result in. It will result in the whole world being under the sway of the coming Anti-Christ dictatorship. Nimrod and by extention, the Anti-Christ attempts to stand in place of God and the "protector" of the human race. Both men of history of mankind, past and future, want to take the place of God, demanding worship as if they were God. This is the rebellion that God was aware that would happen, if left unchecked.

 

God intervened by His will, in the historical example of the tower of Babel and confused the languages of those who were in rebellion to His command to scatter and repopulate the earth, and were making themselves a god, in Almighty God's place.

 

But God doesn't intervene in the Tribulation period to save mankind from himself, the way He did at Babel. At the tower of Babel in Nimrod's time, Jesus had not been crucified on the cross for a choice between good and evil, in shedding His own blood for the payment of mankind's sin. Today, the cross and it's provision of forgiveness of sin by mercy and grace is in place, and God will allow men to reverse the "Babel effect" and let human nature run its course.

 

The end result will be the same as it would have been at Babel, had God not intervened early and human history would have been cut short on the plains of Shinar.

 

Thus I firmly believe that this present USA president has done nothing but throw a wrench (for a short time) into these demonic plans to let all people and nations be ONE and led by one man, which is the Anti-Christ. They may not know it yet, but it will come to pass, as God said it would. The elite who think they rule the world have been planning this for over 100 years, or since Woodrow Wilson put in place the Federal Reserve and the League of Nations. Why do you think there is such vitriol and loathing of one man who is now POTUS? It is because he is standing in the way of combining all nations, creeds, and tongues into one empire that is an affront to Almighty God. No other president has had to put up with the world trying to bring him down, and promote a Socialist, Communist order with a "Sham of a religion" being what unites them. I believe we have been given a "reprieve" from the coming New World Order which is on hold now, only to draw those who will believe that Jesus is the only Way, the Truth and the Life back to God in heaven and repent of their sins, preparing themselves for the coming rapture. Now things all around us are ramping up for that final hour. The world as we know it is in total rebellion and the only thing holding back unimpeded evil, is God's Holy Spirit. As Paul told us:

 

6 "And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." (2nd Thessalonians 2:6-12)

 

Almighty God, having allowed mankind one last, unimpeded effort at rebellion against His Authority, the Bible says that during the Tribulation the armies of the world will gather for a final battle on the plains of Megiddo during which they will turn their weapons of war against the Creator of the Universe Himself.

 

"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon Him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war. . . . And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army. . . . And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of His Mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh." (Revelation 19:11,19,21)

 

What does reversing the Babel Effect mean? The depravity of mankind virtually SCREAMS "rebellion" while the biblical imagery makes it clear that it is deliberate, it is calculated and it is directed against the God of the Bible. I have people who argue about the coming tribulation and the end of the age, but if what is coming upon the earth is not clear to them and what end time prophecy is addressed to , no amount of logical or scripture persuasion will convince the reprobate mind to understand what God is saying is coming upon the earth. We have signs and seasons and the clear words found in your Bible, that indeed we are living in end of the age of mankind's rule upon this earth.

 

I call it "willful ignorance" that is a willful and deliberate choice NOT to believe the truth to avoid the conflict of conscience that accepting the truth would demand.

 

If you go to any Christian forum, you will find many debaters that infiltrate the discussion and try to seize on any inconsistency in the scriptural proof found in God's Word. There is no inconsistency, but in their own minds, to confirm their chosen prospective of self denial and go away comfortable in their unbelief.

 

If anyone of us look closely at our environment, either politically, physically and most assuredly spiritually, we can see an evil taking over the affairs of this world and its population of earth dwellers.

 

It is the phenomenon described by the Apostle Paul which comes to fruition following the Rapture, but we can already see it coming together in its final form on this side of the Tribulation Period, we quoted in 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2 above.

 

The Anti-Christ is coming and he is standing just off the stage of this world and is not in the spotlight, just yet. But Paul writes when this final "Nimrod" sets up his kingdom of this coming New World Order, he will have the enthusiastic cooperation of the whole world who are ignorant of the dangers of globalization and multiculturalism, blissfully unaware of the demonic deception foisted upon them.

 

11 "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." (2nd Thessalonians 2:11-12)

 

I see polls where young people are falling for this charade and want nothing but "free stuff" and the charlatans of Socialism will promise them anything until they have put chains around their necks and hands. These are those who were not taught what the God of the Bible expects or have come to belief in Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God. Their parents failed them miserably and they are the ones who believe the coming lie or delusion.

 

The mystery of iniquity is already at work, and so is the BIG LIE. But still there are scoffers, just as the Apostle Peter wrote about:

 

"Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of His coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation." (2nd Peter 3:4)

 

Peter makes it plain that the reason for their unbelief is a willing ignorance born out of their lust for the things of the world and their choice NOT to believe, no matter how strong the evidence.

 

Peter cites the historical precedent that, several generations later, led to Nimrod's aborted Tower of Babel in the first place, bringing this generation's effort to undo the Babel Effect full circle:

 

"For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished

7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. ." (2nd Peter 3:6-7)

 

THE NEW WORLD ORDER IS ON THE HORIZON

 

I find is amazing and it has to be God's timing, that this lurch forward to the New World Order has been put on hold. Note the news that our current POTUS has pulled the USA from the Paris accord that the last POTUS, I call the "idiot in chief" got us into. Climate change is a bizarre attempt to take the bogus claim of man made climate change and turn it into a NEW WORLD ORDER called Sustainable Development, with all nations being equal and the destruction of the western way of life, that the world is jealous of and desires our downfall.

 

OH, it will come, but we pray we have been given a reprieve, for a time, from the evil desires of One World Government proponents that are headed by the richest and most powerful individuals in the world. Some call them Illuminati, or Bilderberg Groups that have a globalist visions of grandeur to their demonic plans for the world's Utopian society. When will it come? I make a prediction, and it's set in stone.

 

THE RISE OF THE ANTI-CHRIST

 

In Revelation, we see in the throne of God, a scroll handed to the Lamb of God, who opens each seal. Thus begins the wrath of Almighty God upon the earth.

 

"And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer." (Revelation 6:1-2)

 

In the following verses, each horse of the four horseman of the apocalypse rides bringing destruction upon the earth. This is the Wrath of God. Some will in error, postulate that this is the doing of Satan and it is his wrath upon the earth. But note who is opening the seals of the scroll? It is the Lamb of God, Jesus the Christ, who makes these events happen. He uses each of these horses riders to enact judgment upon this rebellious earth, much as He used men to bring Israel to judgment by using Assyria and Babylon to bring justice to those who have forsaken Him. God will use Satan and the evil intent of men's heart to begin His act of judgment and wrath upon the earth.

 

As chapter 6 unfolds, the men of the earth know who is bringing judgment upon them, as it is quite obvious that it is Divine in nature.

 

15 "And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?" (Revelation 6:15-17)

 

There is NO question in their minds, who is responsible for this destruction. God's wrath has begun and as the chapter continue the judgment only gets worse by each chapter. This New World Order is going to be judged and those who follow the modern "NIMROD" the Anti-Christ will be found doomed in their rebellion. Two things will happen in this coming horror that comes upon the earth.

 

-Israel will be refined as silver is refined in the furnace. (Malachi 3:3)

-all rebellion upon this earth will be extinguished.

 

"Behold, the whirlwind of the Lord goes forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind; it will fall violently on the head of the wicked. The fierce anger of the Lord will not return until He has done it, and until He has performed the intents of His heart. In the latter days you will consider it." (Jeremiah 30:23-24)

 

19" Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

21 For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain."(Isaiah 26:19-21)

 

A clear passage describing the rapture and the beginning of God's wrath upon the earth, if there ever was one, this one describes it in 3 short verses of what will come upon the earth to the total horror of all who live during this hour of Tribulation.

 

19 "And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlong" (Revelation 14:19-20)

 

Can you imagine this amount of blood that covers the whole valley of Megiddo for 25 miles or so, as deep as the bridle of a horse?? That's called righteous indignation, and total slaughter of those in rebellion.

 

This is the final judgment on this demonic "New World Order" when God will pass His fiery indignation upon those who have followed this new Nimrod, the Anti-Christ.

 

9 "And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name."(Revelation 14:9-11)

 

A LIFE LINE IS THROWN TO US IN THIS AGE OF GRACE

 

Make no mistake, what I have written and confirmed from the pages of God's Word will definitely come to pass. This world will be judged. This NEW WORLD ORDER will be decimated and those who follow this modern Nimrod, this last dictator of the world or the false christ who that demands worship of himself. Those that do will be thrown alive into the Lake of Fire burning with sulfur and brimstone. From this judgment there is no escape, forever and ever. Those who pass from this Age of Grace, while the Holy Spirit is still convicting men of their sins, into the Age of the Law, the time of Jacob's trouble, known as the Tribulation, and then the Great Tribulation will have their metal tested like they have never been tested before. In all likelihood, many will succumb to staying alive for even a short while, and worship this demonic despot to their own destruction. Those who don't will be martyrs for the cause of Christ, by not taking the "mark of the Beast". How can I give you the vision of what a horrible, devastating time this period will be to all human beings alive that are so unfortunate to have to endure such a time that Jesus said :

 

"21, For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22, And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." (Matthew 24:21-22)

 

I can only paint you a word picture, but the reality of this time will be 1000 times worse than I can explain. But there is a lifeline that is still in force right now, as this very moment:

 

"15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3:15-18)

 

"8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. " (John 14:6)

 

Who is the Way, the Truth and the Life? Jesus is the man/God who died on a cross for you, and for me, so that we would not have to experience this coming time of extreme death and suffering. Repent of your sins and ask Jesus to come into your heart and life, and make Him Lord with what life we have left upon this earth. Make your decision for Jesus Christ, or be ready for the destruction that will be found in the coming reversal of the "Babel Effect".
