But midwaythrough 2020, anarchists and agitators, culture-drivers and even some politicians, are openly advocating for Socialism, racial division, and the wholesale rejection of Judeo-Christian values. So which is it? Are we poised for revival or revolution? It is very unlikely that America will experience another national revival. That is not to minimize the power of the Holy Spirit,but merely to state the obvious. Much, if not most, of the Church is preoccupied with the Social Gospel and has long abandoned a zeal for the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the age of "woke" relativism, evangelism is pass�. Prophecy Fulfilled This reality could be disheartening, but it is exactly what Bible prophecy says will happen in the end-times. Jesus told us thatas the end draws near, lawlessness will increase and the love of many will grow cold (Matthew 24:12). Paul outlined the steady decline of any society that rejects God; He gives them over to increasing debauchery and inevitable destruction (Romans 1:18-32).Paul also foretold the rise of apostasy in the latter times, as some fall away from the faith handed down to the saints (2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 and 1 Timothy 4:1). Perhaps even more disheartening to American patriots - including Christians - is our society's trend toward revolution. In justthe last 20 years, we've seen a dramatic rise in lawlessness and increased polarization - politically, racially, ethnically, economically and socially. In recent months, chaos has engulfed many American cities. Even now, polls claim that an increasing number of Americans are readyto reject Capitalism in favor of Socialism. At the core of movements like Progressivism and Black Lives Matter is a rejection of Judeo-Christian morality, worldview and societal norms. But in that regard, we've been in the midst of a revolution since the mid-1960s. The sexual revolution that cast off "fetters"of restraint has already resulted in rampant adultery and fornication, an explosion of pornography and divorce and an embrace of every abomination of the LGBTQ+ lifestyle. In every arena, we witness the rise of the satanic religion of Humanism with its idolizationof individual autonomy. So what hope remains if revival is unrealistic and revolution is underway? Reliance on God's Word For the individual believer, the same Word of God that revealed these inevitable end-time realities must ground our faith. LikeDavid, we can boldly proclaim (Psalm 56:9-11): This I know, that God is for me. In God, whose word I praise, in the LORD, whose word I praise, in God I have put my trust. Ishall not be afraid. What can man do to me? The Bible offers us many examples of people who determined to put their trust in God - even in the midst of catastrophe. Jeremiahoffered a testimony of hope in spite of national disaster (Lamentations 3:19-24). Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego proclaimed their reliance on God in the face of a fiery furnace (Daniel 3:16-17). And Habakkuk, who calmed his own heart with a prayer requestingmercy in the midst of wrath (Habakkuk 3:1-2). Christians can demonstrate that kind of tough faith because we have the revelation of God. He has told us what to expect as theDay of the Lord draws near. And, He has promised never to leave us or forsake us. Everywhere I look, people are treating one another badly,and this should greatly alarm all of us. Perhaps we can blame some of this on the pandemic, because the restrictions that authorities have implemented around the nation have definitely put people in a bad mood. And of course the fact that this is an electionyear is certainly not helping things. But I am seeing people that are supposedly on the same side treating each other with extreme contempt. Conservatives are fighting with conservatives, liberals are fighting with liberals, Christians are fighting with Christians,and over the past year I have been seeing families break up all over the place. Hearts are growing so cold, and all of the strife and discord that we are witnessing makes me wonder what things will be like when economic conditions in this nation really startfalling apart. There is so much anger and frustration in the air right now, and we are definitely seeing this being reflected in the crime numbers. For example, it is being reported thatburglaries in San Francisco have risen 42 percent so far this year... In San Francisco, burglaries are up 42% in the first 9 months of this year, compared to the same time period in 2019. In the Northern District, which includes Pacific Heights,the Marina, North Beach, and Cow Hollow, it's up 59%. In the Mission, 79% and in the Richmond up 50%. In some neighborhoods, the same criminals are returning over and over again, and things have gotten so bad that one local resident recently admitted that she "cannot sleepat night anymore"... Thieves are returning to the same homes and neighborhoods within the same week, sometimes only one day apart. "It's a big wave of crime right now. it's home burglaries and this is scary. I cannot sleep at night anymore," said Iryna Gorb. I can't even imagine what it must be like lying in bed wondering if this will be the night when the burglars will return again. In addition to home invasions, San Francisco is seeing an alarming number of stores being hit as well... And it's not just happening to homes. Video from a Pacific Heights' Food Market a week and a half ago shows a suspect's seen setting up a blow torch on the store's glass. When it doesn't budge, he comes back and tries a throwing a planter to break in. We are seeing similar scenes play out all over America on a nightly basis these days, and it is only going to get worse in the months ahead. Over on the east coast, New York City has also seen a 42 percent rise in burglaries so far in 2020, and the number of shootings is up 91 percent... Year-to-date, there has been a 91% spike in citywide shooting incidents, a 42% increase in burglaries and a 33% decrease in hate crimes. Considering the fact that hundreds of thousands of people have already moved out of New York City, there shouldn't be that many people left to shoot, but these are the numbersthat authorities are giving us. And sometimes people are being murdered without a gun being used at all. I have to admit that I was greatly disturbed when I recently heard what happened to one man on aManhattan subway platform... A man has died after he was repeatedly stabbed in the legs following a dispute on a lower Manhattan subway station in New York City on Saturday, officials revealed. The attack unfolded just before 3pm on the northbound J/Z train platform in Chambers Street Station, near to City Hall, where the victim, in his 20s, had been ensnared inan argument with another man, said to be in his 30s. How cold does your heart have to be to attack someone like that? Sadly, acts of extreme violence are happening in our major cities so frequently now that they barely make a blip in the news. In the middle of the country, murders and shootingsin Chicago are both up over 50 percent in 2020, and it is being reported that "dozens of children" under the age of 10 have been shot over the last nine months... The Windy City - like others across the country - has seen an uptick in violent crimes this summer amid the coronavirus pandemic, mass layoffs and nationwide unrest. Murdersand shootings are up 52% from the same time last year, according to police data, and dozens of children under 10 years old have been shot, some fatally. This is what America has become. We have become a place where children under the age of 10 are being shot on a regular basis. Most of us depend on the police to protect us from this sort of violence, but they are being shot on a regular basis too. Here is just one example that was in the news today... A shooting over the weekend left one Myrtle Beach police officer dead and another injured, according to a news release from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division. The officers were responding to a domestic violence call Saturday night. Authorities say shots were exchanged between them and a suspect after a confrontation. The thin veneer of civilization that we all take for granted on a daily basis is steadily disappearing, and it isn't just happening in the big cities. Some of the worst crimes of all are happening in less populated areas, and if you doubt this just check out this example. For decades, we have been raising children in an environment in which traditional moral values have been relegated to the fringes of society, and so we should not be surprisedthat our society is now literally coming apart at the seams all around us. And if you think what we have experienced so far is bad, just wait until we get a few more years down the road. Chaos and violence in our streets has become the norm, and our society now teaches us that it is perfectly okay to hate one another. Treating others the way that you want to be treated is such a simple concept, but it works. Unfortunately, most of the population has rejected the simple values that once united our nation, and so our society will continue to fall apart all around us as we plungeinto a deeply uncertain future. Prosecutor Candidate who Vows Lock Up Fewer Criminals Leftwing billionaire George Soros just donated $1.5million to help the nation�s most populous county elect a Black Lives Matter-endorsed prosecutor who promises to lock up fewer criminals. The sizable contribution to former San Francisco DistrictAttorney GeorgeGascon�s campaign for Los Angeles District Attorney is part of a broader effort by Soros to place leftists in local prosecutors� offices around the country. The philanthropist has donated generouslyto these types of candidates throughout California as well as in other states, including Florida, Virginia, Illinois, Texas and New Mexico. Earlier this year, a Soros-linked group called MissouriJustice Public Safety PAC gave St. Louis prosecutor Kimberly Gardner, who criminally charged a couple for defending their home against violent Black Lives Matter protestors, $78,000.Soros also helped fund Gardner�s 2016 campaign and his reelection support has not wavered even though she was investigated for abusing her power to pursue a bogus criminal case against a political nemesis and fined for campaign finance violations. Now Soros, who has long funded international and domestic movements to advance the left�s radical agenda, is pouring money into the L.A. County race to remove its first black district attorney, JackieLacey, who is seeking a third term. Judicial Watch has launched an investigation and this week filed a California Public Records Act (CPRA) request for Gascon�s records, communications, and expenditures withvarious Political Action Committees behind his controversial move from San Francisco to Los Angeles. According to a conservative newsreport, social justice advocacy groups, including Black Lives Matter, recruited Gascon to come to L.A. and he met with the co-founder and key strategist of the Black Lives Matter global network, Patrisse Cullors,about the move south. The same media outlet reported therecent $1.5 million Soros donation to Gascon this week. Besides promising to imprison fewer criminals than L.A. County�s current prosecutor, here is why leftists want him in charge; Gascon helped craft two state measures, Proposition47 and Proposition57, that benefit hardcore criminals under the auspice of �criminal justice reform.� Proposition 47 decriminalizes drug and theft offenses by reducing them from felonies to misdemeanors. Proposition 57 grantsserious criminals such as rapists, human traffickers, child molesters and drive-by-shooters early release from prison. Gascon�s campaign is a perfect example of outside special interests controlling traditionally non-partisan races, according to the Associationof Deputy District Attorneys (ADDA), the professional group of deputy prosecutors in L.A. County. �Special interest groups, funded by George Soros, pumped millions of dollars into district attorney races across the county,� the group�s president writes onits website. �Theirmission was to use Soros�s wealth to radically reshape the criminal justice system.� Judicial Watch has reported extensively on the multi-million-dollar global crusade funded by Soros to further advance the left�s radical agenda. Incredibly, American taxpayers contribute to this outrageouscause. More than 63 million Americans have sought jobless aid since the coronavirus lockdowns began in mid-March. If someone had told me late last year that 63 million Americans would file new claims for unemployment benefits this year, I wouldhave thought that person was crazy. Prior to 2020, the worst number for a single week in all of U.S. history was 695,000, and now we have been way above that figureevery single week of this pandemic. Of course the layoffs just keep rolling along. Right now, it is being reported that WarnerMedia expects to lay off thousands ofworkers in the coming weeks... AT&T's WarnerMedia is preparing a restructuring that seeks to reduce costs by as much as 20% as the COVID-19 panic drains incomefrom movie tickets, cable subscriptions and TV ads, reports The Wall Street Journal. The layoffs are expected to begin in the coming weeks and would result in thousands of layoffs across Warner Bros. studios andTV channels like HBO, TBS and TNT, the paper said. Personally, I wouldn't be saddened if WarnerMedia completely shut down on a permanent basis. They produce an endless barrage ofgarbage programming that is corrupting the minds of millions of Americans, and our society would definitely be better off without them. But at the same time that millions upon millions of Americans have been losing their jobs, those at the very top of the economicfood chain have been getting even wealthier thanks to the Federal Reserve's reckless intervention in the financial markets. At this point, the top one percent of all Americans have more than 15 times more money than the bottom 50 percent combined... According to the latest Fed data, the top 1% of Americans have a combined net worth of $34.2 trillion (or 30.4% of all householdwealth in the U.S.), while the bottom 50% of the population holds just $2.1 trillion combined (or 1.9% of all wealth). If you think that there isn't a lot of resentment out there, then you haven't been paying attention. We are seeing the rise of a "Robin Hood mentality" among many that live in deeply impoverished areas, and when things get reallycrazy out there they are going to be hitting wealthy neighborhoods really hard. Unfortunately, a lot of people believe that this upcoming election could potentially be the spark that sets off a lot more civilunrest. Personally, I have such a bad feeling about what is going to happen, and I believe that having so many people voting by mail could cause all sorts of problems. In fact, even the mainstream media is admitting that we could see a million ballots that are sent through the mail rejected forone reason or another... Absentee ballot rejections this November are projected to reach historic levels, risking widespread disenfranchisement of minorityvoters and the credibility of election results, a USA TODAY, Columbia Journalism Investigations and PBS series FRONTLINE investigation found. At least 1.03 million absentee ballots could be tossed if half of the nation votes by mail. Discarded votes jump to 1.55 millionif 75% of the country votes absentee. In the latter scenario, more than 185,000 votes could be lost in Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin - states considered key to capturing the White House. Any system of voting that could potentially disenfranchise a million voters is deeply broken and should not be used. But at this point it is too late to do anything about it. More than 6 million people have already voted, and more votes are beingsent in with each passing day. Of course millions of other Americans are also deeply concerned about the integrity of this election. Just check out the resultsof a recent YouGov survey... The YouGov poll of 1,999 registered voters found that nearly half - 47% - disagree with the idea that the election "is likelyto be fair and honest." And that slightly more than half - 51% - won't "generally agree on who is the legitimately elected president of the United States." The online poll was conducted Oct.1-2 and has a margin of error of +/- 2.56 percentage points. In essence, about half the country believes that this election may not be legitimate. That is a major national crisis right there. In addition, YouGov has also found that 56 percent of Americans believe that there will be "an increase in violence as a resultof the election"... In addition, a YouGov poll of 1,505 voters found that 56% said they expect to see "an increase in violence as a result of theelection." That question had a margin of error of 4.2 percentage points. This definitely is not the America that I grew up in. In the old days, nobody would have ever imagined widespread violence after a presidential election. Another recent survey discovered that a whopping 61 percent of Americans believe that "the U.S. could be on the verge of anotherCivil War". We have never seen anything like this before, and at this point it is undeniable that our society is breaking down all aroundus. But instead of bringing us together, the results of this upcoming election are only going to deepen our divisions no matter whowins. Everything that our forefathers worked so hard to build is at risk, and we are getting very, very close to crossing the pointof no return.
