TRUMP WATCH: 10.3.20 - Un-presidential debate

Un-presidential debate - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com What was that? It looked more like a couple of toddlers having a fit over something, and the parents lost total control. Last night's Presidential debate was anything butpresidential. Chris Wallace of Fox News tried to host the event. He was an utter failure, losing control of the format, siding politics against President Trump with his "commentary" type questions, and not holding any sense of decorum befitting a presidentialevent. President Trump, while making his points, was a man appearing to fire off the pent up frustration of being lied about and attacked over the past four years. Joe Biden acted childish, and looked as if he didn't really know what was going on-confusingtopics and not completing sentences. In short, the debate was a fast frame microcosm of the past four years. Biden did what the Democratic Party has done all along-accuse Trump relentlessly of what the Democratshave been doing. He was smug, arrogant and talked over the President throughout the debate. Declaring, "I am the Democratic Party," Biden called the president a "clown," a "racist," a "fool," a "liar," and asked "will you just shut up, man?" Biden touted thebenefits of the Green New Deal, and then said he didn't support it, that he had the "Biden" deal. Saying "here's the deal" repeatedly, Biden contradicted himself a lot. At one time, he started talking about his son Beau when it was his son Hunter's businessdealings that were being discussed. President Trump came in hot. From the onset, he refused to allow Biden's falsehoods and went about "correcting" him real time. And there was a lot to correct. Biden liedabout his son Hunter using the Biden vice presidency to enrich the Biden's. He also made false claims about crime, the economy, and the Supreme Court nominee. Biden actually said that Antifa was not an organization, but rather an idea-tell that to the homeownersand businessmen who lost everything when that "idea" burned them out in Portland, Seattle, New York and other places. No, there was a lot to correct or Wallace would have just let it stand. It seems, though, Trump often came across angry. He is definitelya fighter. The one thing that came out of the debate that was glaring: Chris Wallace, as a representative of the news media, showed that the media is part of the problem America faces. The content of his questions, the way they were asked each candidate, show implicit bias. At times, Wallace even got into a debate with Trump on issues, not just whether Trump should allow Biden to continue to lie. My takeaway on the debate was that it washard to watch, it was indicative of the state of our nation, it didn't change my mind, and I'm not sure I will watch any of the rest of them. It was hard to sleep after listening to that morass. 1 Corinthians 13:1 comes to mind: "Though I speak with the tonguesof men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal." That said, enough said. Wisconsin authorities recover trove of pro-Trump ballots that were discarded in a ditch Submitted by Dave Hodges on Monday, September 28, 2020 - 11:32 By Lance D Johnson Newstarget The most contested Presidential election in the history of the United States is underway, as absentee ballot fraud is already being discovered in battleground states. Wisconsin authorities have justrecovered a trove of pro-Trump ballots that were discarded in a ditch. Three trays of mail were found at 8 a.m. on September 22nd along Wisconsin highway 96, near the Appleton International Airport. According to a USPS spokesperson, the discarded mail included absentee ballots. The ballots were returned to the US Postal Service and an investigation is underway. “The United States Postal Inspection Service immediately began investigating and we reserve further comment on this matter until that is complete,” USPS spokesman Bob Sheehan said in a statement. Absentee ballot fraud occurring five weeks from election Vindictive democrats will try to interfere in the 2020 election, and this year it will be so much easier, because the election is primarily being cast through the mail. During the 2020 Wisconsin primaries, the number of absentee ballots jumped from six percent of Wisconsin voters to approximately 60 percent of Wisconsin voters. Out of the 1.55 million votes cast in the state of Wisconsin, 1.1 million will be delivered through the US Postal Service. The numberof mail-in ballots is expected to balloon in the coming months, as Wisconsin election commissioner Meagan Wolfe now expects more than three million Wisconsin residents to vote. This means that most individuals will not have to show up and confirm their presence in the voting process, as was traditionally expected. Identity fraud will be much easier to accomplish this way. How manyballots will be delivered to the mailing addresses of people who are deceased or who moved, only to be filled out and counted as legitimate votes? Worse yet, mail can be intercepted by bad actors, lost by accident, or tampered with. With a majority of Americans casting their vote through the mail this year, there is no system in place to ensure thatall the fraud will be found in time or held to account. The 2020 election is a Wild West gun fight that will take weeks, if not months, to sort out. This is exactly how Democrats want the election to go; they want it to be as messy and confusing as possible, with as many opportunities for fraud as possible. Consumed with politics - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com here are so many things happening so fast in the world that it is difficult to focus. The Senate released results of its investigationinto Joe Biden using his position as Vice President to enrich himself and his family through a vast network of bribery and financial espionage in Russia, Ukraine, and China-the very things, and worse, that he and his political party were accusing PresidentTrump of doing. Additionally, Trump has announced his Supreme Court nominee, already under extreme attack by the media and Democrats. And the Presidential Debates are upcoming. We will report on all these events, but first, to kick off the week, I want toshare with you about what some people are dealing with each day. While we debate politics and corruption, there are those who are wondering when they will eat next. Over the weekend, across onthe other side of the world, there are hungry children who have parents that can only try to feed them and their selves. From our church setting in the US, we were fortunate to participate in feeding a community in Ghana, West Africa. Pastor William Agbetihad arranged to feed children and their parents nutritious meals and he was able to "live feed" us through video technology. We actually were able to see and speak to some of the people he and the volunteers were feeding. Here is a report written in Agbeti'swords: "No child should go to bed hungry. That thought kept ringing in my mind as we set up in the middle of a typical compound housein a run-down neighborhood at Osu, a suburb of Accra, Ghana. Compound houses have several single rooms, inhabited mostly by poor families who share common areas, as well as toilets and open bathrooms, without running water. Bedrooms are crammed with lots ofchildren, becoming common sleeping places at night. It's from such background that over 200 children and some parents came for hot meals, nutritious drinks and apples. Many of the children ate apples for the first time in their lives. One 6-year-old had quicklyeaten his meal, returned to the service table with the last piece of an apple in his mouth. He wanted some more. I had to hold myself in check, else I wouldn't be able to stop weeping! "Originally, we planned to serve 200 children. We ended up serving 250, still counting more children and parents who could notbe helped. As a rule, the extra 50 people were served from a reserve supply we always keep for eventualities. The rest we couldn't help! It became a heavy burden on us too, as we saw many also burdened with hunger! Isaiah 58:7 says, "Is it not to deal yourbread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor that are cast out to your house? when you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you hide not yourself from your own flesh?" At least, many will go to bed for a night on full stomachs, with broad smileson their faces, dreaming about apples!" As we watched from the US, I couldn't help but think there are people who are hungry spiritually and physically, and we are so consumed with politics that we don't notice. Media Ignores Tens Of Thousands Of Christians Converging On Washington DC - Michael Brown - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=4309 Did you hear about the large Christian gatherings in Washington, DC this weekend? Did you see the news reports about the mayhem? The looting? The vandalism? The calls to"Burn it down!"? Did you hear the speakers calling for acts of violence and destruction? Oh, you didn't? That's because tens of thousands of Christians did gather in DC this weekend, but they came to pray for the nation and repent for their sins. The two main events were The Return, which began Friday night and ended Saturday night, and Franklin Graham's prayer march, which was held from noon to 2:00 PM Saturdayafternoon. Both events attracted tens of thousands, and The Return was watched by a reported global audience of tens of millions. But there were no angry voices. No calls for violence. No fistfights. Or brawls. Or looting. Or shooting at police. In fact, at The Return, where I participated on Saturday, there was hardly any police presence at all. It was not needed. I didn't even see any counter-protesters. Worship prevailed. Prayer prevailed. Humility prevailed. Repentance prevailed. And while a constant theme of the events was the broken condition of America and the urgent need for repentance, that repentance started with the participants, with eachof us. We, the followers of Jesus, have sinned and fallen short. We who are called to be light of the world and the salt of the earth have not lived up to our high and lofty calling. That's why The Return began its Saturday morning program with pastors and leaders asking for God's mercy and confessing their sin. Repentance starts with us. Significantly, Saturday was also the day when President Trump announced his nomination of Amy Coney Barrett to replace the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Who could have foreseenthis? These events were planned months in advance, at which time no one had any idea that Justice Ginsburg would pass away, let alone pass away during this sacred season on thebiblical calendar. Even the timing of Trump's announcement seemed propitious. As I tweeted, "So, Ruth Bader Ginsburg passes away at the beginning of the Jewish New Year, as the shofar blastis heard, & Amy Coney Barrett is announced as her replacement as shofars were being blasted at The Return event in DC, watched by 10s of millions globally. Coincidence?" On this same day, Saturday, September 26, 2020, major prayer gatherings were held in the Philippines and other nations as well. (An Asian leader told me at The Return thatthree million Indonesian Christians participated in a prayer event just hours earlier.) But this is exactly what we must do. We are in the midst of a global pandemic, a global shutdown, a time of global shaking - and that means there nothing more importantwe can do than pray. All the more does this hold true in America, where deep divisions are literally tearing us apart. But the goal of these gatherings is not to impress people. The goal is not to put on a performance and please the crowds. The goal is to get the attention of our Fatherin heaven. Only He can turn the hearts of a nation. And only He can hold back His judgment and wrath. In Jewish tradition, the constellation sign associated with Tishrei, the seventh (and current) month of the biblical calendar (but the first month of the traditional calendar),is a pair of scales, symbolizing the scales of justice. As one Jewish website explains, "The symbol of the month of Tishrei is a pair of scales. How fitting are the scales of justice to this month! On the Day of Judgment, RoshHashanah, our good deeds and mitzvos (commandments) are weighed against our sins. If we have more mitzvos than sins, we are inscribed for another year of life. Obviously, this is not a quantitative evaluation, that is, the number of offenses verses thenumber of good deeds. The judgment takes into account the quality of our deeds." Yet even with the very best quality of deeds, and even when we work our hardest, there is no way America could survive a test like this, weighing our good deeds againstour bad deeds. How much weight does a single abortion carry, let alone tens of millions? How much weight does a single act of sex trafficking carry, let alone tens of thousands? That's why we plead for mercy. That's why we repent so deeply. That's why, in the synagogues, beginning Sunday night, Jewish prayers will focus on pleas for mercy and lengthyconfessions of sin. There is no boasting of our own righteousness in the sight of a holy God. That's why these gatherings in DC, with minimal press coverage and without the drama of the protests and the riots, could well be the thing that saves the nation. And whilethe media may not have paid sufficient attention, we trust that God Himself did. That is what really matters. What you need to know about Judge Barrett - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com While the Democratic Party is scrambling to discredit President Trump's nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett for the Supreme Court, there is really no debate. For example, AP just published a story saying that Barrett belonged to a Catholic organization that "hold men are divinely ordained as the "head" of the family and faith." Oh WOW, stop the presses! Seriously, Barrett already hasbeen vetted and confirmed by the Senate as a jurist on the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Having said that, the relentless personal attacks on Barrett are par for the course. They are shameful. All this is a sign of our times when elected officials carenothing about the law or integrity, but everything about tearing a person down. A White House source sent me the following information about Judge Barrett that may be helpful in informing and equipping youas a foundational basis that brings both facts and understanding to who Judge Barret is and why she is qualified to sit on the highest court of the land. From the White House: "Judge Barrett's extensive experience as a professor and litigator, record of academicsuccess, and outstanding judicial record make her an excellent choice to serve on the Supreme Court. Judge Barrett has demonstrated a steadfast dedication to upholding the Constitution as written, and not legislating from the bench. Judge Barrett's excellentjudicial record shows she will protect the rights of Americans and defend the rule of law. "Judge Barrett's character and work ethic have earned her awards and bipartisan praise from the legal community. Judge Barrett'scolleagues at Notre Dame Law School signed a letter supporting her 2017 nomination, calling her "a model of the fair, impartial and sympathetic judge." In 2017, a bipartisan group of law professors - including professors from Harvard and Stanford and otherlaw schools around the country - urged the Senate Judiciary Committee to confirm Judge Barrett to the Seventh Circuit, describing her work as "rigorous, fair-minded, respectful, and constructive." The American Bar Association rated Judge Barrett as "well qualified"in 2017. "Since 2017, Judge Barrett has served on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit after she was nominated by PresidentTrump and confirmed on a bipartisan vote. Judge Barrett was appointed by Chief Justice John Roberts to sit on the Advisory Committee on Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure, where she served from 2010 to 2016. After graduating from law school, Judge Barrettclerked for D.C. Circuit Judge Laurence Silberman and for Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia." Since the Senate already approved her for the Seventh Circuit Court, Judge Barrett should have no obstacle to the Supreme Court, except the ongoing obstructionthat has become the hallmark of the Democratic Party. Despite what you hear or read, this is a Matthew 24:4 moment: "Take heed that no man deceive you." The constitution is at stake. Just the facts, ma'am - Bill Wilson - www.dailyjot.com There were a whole bunch of words flying around the first presidential debate. It kept the fact-checkers busy all night. As the left-wing news mediagives Joe Biden a break, and soft sells his inadequate answers to reasonable questions, it might be good to look at a few of the mud slings Joe "here's the deal" Biden threw up to see what stuck on the wall. How about starting with the longstanding debateon President Trump's taxes. To be honest, I do not know why this is an issue. Tax returns are private. It's nobody's business how much a person pays in taxes. And that is a constitutional underpinning of the Fourth Amendment, protecting the right to privacy. But these days, the Constitution doesn't seem to matter. For the record, President Trump said that he paid millions in taxes. Biden said that Trump only paid about $750 in taxes. The New York Times, whichclaimed in a sensational hit story that it had Trump's tax returns, reported that Trump said that his liability should have been $750 because he had overpaid his taxes. That is the story that the Democrats and Biden focused on rather than the truth-go figure. The NYT actually reported: "Mr. Trump paid alternative minimum tax in seven years between 2000 and 2017 - a total of $24.3 million, excluding refunds he received after filing. For 2015, he paid $641,931, his first payment of any federal income tax since 2010."See how they twist the truth? Debate moderator Chris Wallace and Joe Biden double teamed Trump to demand he condemn white supremacism, as if Trump had never done so. Two days afterthe Charlottesville, VA violence in August 2017, President Trump said, "Racism is evil and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups." A month later, he signed a congressionalresolution condemning white supremacy. In 2019, following shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, Trump said, "In one voice, our nation must condemn racism, bigotry and white supremacy...These sinister ideologies must be defeated. Hate has no placein America. Hatred warps the mind, ravages the heart, and devours the soul." Both Wallace and Biden repeated the "very fine people" hoax as well. There were many more lies that were allowed to stand during the debate: Antifa is an idea not an organization; Biden left Trump a booming economy;Biden didn't call military members "stupid bastards"; Biden's son didn't receive $3.5 million from the wife of the former mayor of Moscow; that Biden didn't support the Green New Deal; and on and on. The problem was that the "debate" was so visceral that thenormal person couldn't digest all the lies fast enough. Ephesians 5:6 says, "Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things comes the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience." There are consequences to believing lies and fallingprey to deception. Let's not let this year's election be one of them.
