The lack of common sense, common decency and common mannershas become, well, common. In fact, it is a phenomenon and when it becomes institutionalized, I would say it is Stupidocrisy. We especially see it in political leaders. We also see it in those who blindly follow conspiracy theories that are totally absurd justbecause they want to believe it is truth. Each week, The Daily Jot will try to pick out the most stupid thing of the week and call it what it is�stupid�in this new weekly feature, Stupidocrisy. Hopefully, it will give you a chuckle and a way to talk aboutthese things with others. This week�s Stupidocrisy is about deprogramming. The left�s talking points this week on all their propaganda outlets (translated mainstream media) is pondering how to deprogram74 million people who voted for Donald Trump. They say these mostly white supremacists are responsible for a delusional cult that is dangerous to America. They say that the handful of people who assaulted the Capitol on January 6 and that the delusional QAnonfollowers are representative of all Trump voters. Throw in everybody who is white, Christian and not a Democrat, and there�s probably more than 74 million, but that�s a good start for the left and Democratic Party leaders. By the way, aren�t most of them white,and claim to be Christian? And wasn�t it the Democratic Party that institutionalized the white supremacist Jim Crow laws? They use the word �delusional� a lot. Now, I will admit that some of their points have a smidgen of truth in them. But if we are going to talk delusional, it�s not reallyfair to do so without mentioning some of the things the 74 million might think a little odd about the leftists and the Democratic Party leadership. Things like: codifying the legality of infanticide in the name of healthcare; the idea that there are some 112genders needing special protected �rights�; that the weather can be changed by taxing people; shutting down the gas and oil industries, putting thousands out of work, raising the price of energy, and becoming dependent on evil empires like China; supportinga terrorist state cutting Israel in half; quarantining healthy people�oh, there is much, much more, if we truly want to understand delusion and the need for deprogramming. Did it ever occur to these leftists that maybe there were 74 million people in America that just don�t agree with the stupidocrisy offered by the Democratic Party? Did itever occur to them that 74 million voters might just want to know what actually did happen in Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Georgia that possibly had a bearing on the outcome of the presidential election�just to get closure? If all these people aredelusional and there is nothing to worry about, why are the leftists and politicians holed up in Washington, DC behind razor wire, chain fences and 20,000 troops? Proverbs 16:22 says, �Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that has it: but the instructionof fools is folly.� Yep. No ordinary person could have imagined the things that people are seeing and doing now. Some of it is demonic, to say the very least, and if these are birth pains, thingswill get worse and there is no telling what our nation and God’s people will face in the near future. The globalists have big plans, but they are not in control; they just think they are. The more they reject God’s influence over the U.S. and turn against His people, the more they fulfill Bible prophecy and stir His wrath. Make no mistake about it; fake news, fake elections, fake climate change science, fake Coronavirus science, fake documents in the Dept. of Justice, fake values, and integrityin Washington DC and America’s courts, etc., are not of God. He is truth, we are living in prophetic times, and here are several more reasons for believing that: One, the Bible says God created man in His own image; male andfemale created He them (Gen. 1:26-27). Biden promised to remove America’s recognition of just 2 sexes on day one of his administration. Pelosi has already tried to do this by rejecting the use of father, mother, son and daughter in the House. This is more serious than catering to the LGBTQ agenda. It is a clear rejection of the Word of God and a mistake to think that America can deliberately cast aside the Scriptures without consequences. Two, on Jan. 13, 2021, the U.S. House of Representatives impeachedPres. Trump for a second time. This time, Democrats accused him of “incitement of insurrection” over the protests at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. They said he “repeatedly issued false statements asserting that the presidential election results were fraudulent and should not be accepted.” It is now up to the U.S. Senate to approve or reject this impeachment. Trump said his impeachment is “a continuation of the greatest and most vicious witch hunt in the history of our country and is causing tremendous anger, and division andpain . . . which is very dangerous for the USA, especially at this very tender time.” If the rioting, looting and arson of Antifa and BLM was constitutionally protected free speech, why wasn’t the attack at the Capitol constitutionally protected free speech? The answer is neither one is constitutionally protected free speech, and the problem is the character and motives of the people that are making the decisions. According to the Bible, the Antichrist will ignore truth and opt for deceit (Dan. 8:12). This spirit of antichrist (lying, half-truth, misinformation, and political spin) is very active in Washington DC today. It is easy to see why the lost will believe lies and rejoice in unrighteousness during the Tribulation Period (II Thess. 2:11-12). Three, it has been reported that 80 municipal and criminal charges,including fines of more than $15,000 a day, have been filed against the co-owners of Atilis Gym in New Jersey (N.J.) while they are fighting the state in court over the lockdown of their business under the guise of stopping the spread of Covid. Sometime during the night of Jan. 13-14, 2021, without warning or permission, N.J. officials seized the funds that Atilis had in its bank account. There have been reports that the seizure of funds by government officials (and by banks in financial trouble) is going to become more common as the urge to redistributewealth grows and America’s financial situation worsens. Four, concerning persecution: on Jan. 14, 2021, it was reportedthat Bishop Joseph Strickland said on his T.V. program that Christians “need to be ready for a new age of martyrdom. . . in order to be faithful to Jesus Christ.” The Bishop added that if it comes to that, Christians “can’t deny the truth, and we should resist.” Five, also, concerning persecution: on Jan. 12, 2021, ProjectVeritas released a video of a PBS attorney suggesting that the children of Trump Voters should be put in re-education camps. PBS fired the attorney and disavowed what he said. Six, on Jan. 11, 2021, GoDaddy shut down the website of AR15.com,the largest gun website in the world, without giving a reason. AR15.com has found another host and expects to be back online in a matter of days. It is important to understand that globalists want to disarm America, to control those that might fight against the surrender of U.S. sovereignty. Seven, Biden’s support for world government, to open the U.S.border with Mexico, to provide a pathway to citizenship for more than 11 million immigrants, to declare a moratorium on immigrant deportations, to provide free healthcare to immigrants, etc. has already led to a caravan of thousands of immigrants (many withCovid) with plans to enter the U.S. and predictions that there will be waves of caravans in the future. Biden officials say it will take a few months to put some of these policies into effect, but he plans to go through with them. Eight, the Bible teaches that Israel will be a prosperous nationwith silver and gold, cattle and goods in the latter years and latter days (Ezek. 38). On Jan. 14, 2021, it was reported that 3 international credit rating agencies (Fitch, S&P, and Moody’s) have given Israel an “A+” credit rating despite the problems causedby Covid. Nine, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog (Ezek. 38-39) inthe latter years and latter days: · On Jan. 13, 2021, it was reportedthat 18 Israeli strikes on Iranian targets in Syria killed 57 people (14 Syrian fighters, 16 Iraqi fighters, 11 Afghan fighters and 16 fighters of unknown nationality). Israel has been striking enemy targets in Syria for years, but this is the largest deathtoll in one series of strikes. · On Jan. 14, 2021, it was reportedthat the Israeli Defense Forces Homefront Command has released a video urging citizens to keep a radio in their personal bomb shelters in case there is a power outage or the Internet goes down in Israel. · In early Jan. 2021, Iran announcedthat it had restarted its program of enriching uranium to 20%, bringing the nation just a step away from 90% enrichment and the possibility of producing nuclear weapons. · On Jan. 14, 2021, it was reportedthat the IDF is working on 3 ways to stop Iran’s nuclear program, and one is a military attack. One Israeli official suggested that Israel might launch a military strike if the Biden administration rejoins the deal the Obama-Biden administration made withIran. · If there is a full-fledged attackon Israel by the nations mentioned in Ezek. 38-39, people should know that the Bible clearly says this prophecy will be fulfilled in the latter years and latter days. Ten, Big Tech’s suppression of free speech in the U.S. has drawnthe criticism of leaders in several nations. If Big Tech gets away with silencing the Pres. of the U.S., they can probably silence any other leader on earth and get away with it. If Big Tech can influence the results of the U.S. election, they can influence the results of any election. The purpose of the Mark of the Beast is to shut down opposition to the government of Antichrist. Big Tech has: · Designated itself as the free speechpolice of the world. · Given itself the power to decidewho should rule nations. · Tried to squash the publicationof Hunter Biden’s crimes against the U.S. and Joe Biden’s involvement in Hunter’s crimes. · Tried to take away the free speechof almost 75 million U.S. citizens. · Threatened to de-platform companiesthat allow almost 75 million U.S. citizens to speak freely. · Twitter’s Jack Dorsey (perhaps underthe influence of the shadow government) has been videoed saying the censorship of millions of U.S. citizens has just begun. · During the Tribulation Period, peoplewill be forced to support the government of Antichrist or they will be killed (a satanic silencing of opposition). One way that readers can express their dislike of censorship is to switch from Apple, Amazon, Google, etc., to Parler as soon as the site gets back up. Christians, conservatives, and others need to use and support websites that won’t censor them and try to control our elections. Eleven, concerning deceit, false accusations and lying at theend of the age: on Jan. 14, 2021, it was reported that James Earle Sullivan, founder of a group called Insurgence USA, has been arrested and will appear in court on that day. Sullivan has admitted that he entered the Capitol building through a smashed window and incited violence. He videoed his activities, posted the video and recorded himself saying he is a supporter of Black Lives Matter. Despite this recorded evidence, some politicians and media say only Trump supporters were involved in the protests at the Capitol building. Twelve, on Jan. 14, 2021, it was reported that the 34-year-oldson of a New York judge has been arrested for being in the Capitol protests. He is a registered Democrat, was wearing fir, a stolen police vest, and carrying a large stick in pictures that were taken at the Capitol. Thirteen, concerning a global economic collapse that will happenafter the Rapture of the Church: Biden has announced plans for a 1.9 trillion-dollar Coronavirus stimulus package and a $15 per hour minimum wage. If I am not mistaken, the U.S. has spent about 6 trillion dollars on stimulus packages, and many of America’s enemies are counting on this spending to trigger the collapseof the U.S. economy. More than 100,000 small businesses have permanently closed due to Covid, thousands more are near bankruptcy, and some pundits are saying Biden’s minimum wage increase willup the cost of doing business, cause more businesses to fail, and increase unemployment. Some say as America goes, so goes the world. Fourteen, concerning the decline of America and the rise ofIsrael at the end of the age: on Jan. 14, 2021, it was reported that an influential rabbi in Israel is warning that America is more divided than most people realize. The rabbi said the Democrats are replacing the values of justice with the values of political correctness, it is causing division, and it will trigger the fall of America. He said, “This is a sad moment, but it will happen.” He added that this is part of God’s plan for Israel, and he urged Israel’s leaders to prepare for its role of leadership in the world. Fifteen, on Jan. 18, 2021, it was reported that Israel stillintends to name the soon to be built train station at the Temple Mount the “Donald J. Trump Station.” A group of rabbis said the new train station will serve the Third Temple, and the connection of Trump to a rebuilt Temple is not in doubt. Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. He is the only president to keep his promise to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, and the only president to visit the Western Wall. Sixteen, on Jan. 18, 2021, it was reported that the outgoingCapitol Police Chief said Trump began his Jan. 6, 2021, speech at the Ellipse (a 35 min. walk to the Capitol) at 12:00 pm and ended it at 1:11 pm. At 1:10 pm, Trump closed his speech by telling the crowd to “fight like hell.” According to the police chief (and this is the official timeline), the first group of protesters arrived at the Capitol at about 12:40 pm (while Trump was still speakingabout 35 min. away and about 30 min. before Trump told the crowd to fight like hell). Others had time to get there by the time the Capitol was broken into (at 1:59 pm), but the House impeached Trump for inciting the protesters even though many were at theCapitol before Trump allegedly “incited anyone.” Seventeen, on Jan. 15, 2021, Bill Koenig said, “Big Pharma isalso putting pressure on the FDA to stop or heavily restrict access to Hydroxychloroquine or Ivermectin.” Prophecy Plus is not advising anyone to use these meds, and everyone must be responsible for their own decision, but since Dr. Kory told the U.S. Senate that a group ofhighly respected doctors think that Ivermectin is safe and effective for preventing Covid in most people, some have been buying Ivermectin (blue liquid, 250 ml bottle, with 2 pour spouts) at farm supply stores and amazon.com. FYI, on Jan. 18, 2021, lifesitenews reported that India has developed an effective and safe Covid treatment kit that uses Ivermectin and sells for $2.65 per person. The report says this inexpensive kit has been used to cause a steep decline in the number of Covid cases and fatality rate in India. If Ivermectin is lowering the number of cases and fatality rate in a densely populated nation like India, why is Big Pharma opposing it in the U.S., and why do we have thecrippling lockdowns, social distancing, etc.? Since Ivermectin is inexpensive, why do we need Big Pharma’s costly vaccine, to track people etc.? If the House of Rep. can impeach the U.S. President in 2 days, why haven’t they distributed inexpensive Covid kits to U.S. citizens? After putting Michigan residents through hell for most of 2020, two days after Biden was inaugurated Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced that the restrictions in her statewould start to be lifted� Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said Friday that the restrictions worked, COVID-19 infection rates are declining, and indoor dining can resume Feb. 1. The very next day, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot proudly announced that COVID restrictions were also being rolled back in her city� �Due to recent progress in the fight against COVID-19, Chicago is now operating under Illinois� Tier 1 mitigations�which includes limited indoor dining and more.� Then on Monday, California Governor Gavin Newsom �lifted regional stay-at-home orders across the state�� California lifted regional stay-at-home orders across the state Monday in response to improving coronavirus conditions, returning the state to a system of county-by-countyrestrictions, state health officials announced. CBS San Francisco reports the move opens the way for a return to limited restaurant dining, religious services and other activities. Somehow, major Democratic politicians all over the nation have simultaneously come to the exact same conclusion about the COVID lockdowns. Isn�t that strange? Of course there are some that are suggesting that all of this is a little bit too convenient. For example, this is what Steve Cortes posted on Twitter� Michigan, Chicago, now California. It�s almost as if the �science� changed, once Biden became president? How convenient for Whitmer, Lightfoot, and Newsom? Using small businesses, churches, schools, and citizens as pawns in a crass political game is evil. Steve must not have heard the latest, because we just got big news out of New York� The spread of Covid-19 has slowed enough in New York that Gov. Andrew Cuomo plans to ease the extra restrictions some parts of the state have been living under for months. Cuomo said today he expects to announce changes to the state�s Covid cluster zones soon. It would be the first update to the cluster zones in weeks. They could have at least waited for a couple of weeks to make it look better. Many Americans are going to be convinced that these lockdowns were a political ploy all along, and it is going to be extremely difficult to convince them otherwise. Meanwhile, we are left with a nation in which the gap between the wealthy and the poor is now greater than ever thanks to the lockdowns. According to Bloomberg, we just witnessed the largest yearly increase in poverty in the United States since the 1960s� Economists Bruce Meyer, from the University of Chicago, and James Sullivan of the University of Notre Dame found that the poverty rate increased by 2.4 percentage pointsduring the latter half of 2020 as the U.S. continued to suffer the economic impacts from Covid-19. That percentage-point rise is nearly double the largest annual increase in poverty since the 1960s. This means an additional 8 million people nationwide are now consideredpoor. Moreover, the poverty rate for Black Americans is estimated to have jumped by 5.4 percentage points, or by 2.4 million individuals. Of course we have also seen poverty rates explode elsewhere around the world, and Oxfam is warning that on a global basis we just witnessed the �greatest rise in inequalitysince records began�� As featured in a recent Oxfam study which also sought to assess the financial impact of the pandemic � up to 500 million people globally have been newly pushed into poverty,while at the same time the world�s 10 richest men made a combined $540 billion over the same time frame. Oxfam is calling it evidence of the �greatest rise in inequality since records began.� The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. Meanwhile, the horrific civil unrest that I warned was coming is now raging all over the planet. In fact, one group of protesters in the Netherlands just blew up a bridge. When faith in our leaders and in our institutions is gone, it is going to be exceedingly difficult to ever restore it. Perhaps �the science� really does indicate that our politicians should suddenly be lifting COVID restrictions all over the United States. But even many Democrats are goingto admit that it looks incredibly suspicious for them to be doing this in coordinated fashion just days after Biden was inaugurated. In life, and especially in politics, perception can be everything. However, even if there is funny business going on, we should all be glad that the lockdowns are finally starting to end because that will definitely help the economy. It is estimated that some 18 million people passed through Gulags and 1.6 million, orabout 10% died. They may be gone in Russia, but China has a similar system for Christians, Muslims and other dissenters, in addition to its slave labor. Liberal influencers and Democratic Party leaders openly say they want to establish this for conservativesand Christians in America. The New York Post reports that during a town hall meeting Friday, influencer and leader of the socialist democrats� coalition in the US House of Representatives, AlexandriaOcasio-Cortez (D-NY) suggested funding reeducation camps for those who voted for President Trump. Labeling them white supremacists, conspiracy theorists and those who pushed the theory that the election was stolen from President Trump, Ocasio-Cortez said thatthese �fringe radicals� operate in a �misinformation bubble� and it will take more than one conversation to de-program them, likening it to therapy. She called for the quadrupling of funding of such programs. Ocasio-Cortez is not the only one calling for sucha radical concept. On November 17, Democrat National Committee member David Atkins tweeted: �No seriously�how *do* you deprogram 75 million people? Where do you start? Fox? Facebook? We haveto start thinking in terms of post-WWII Germany or Japan. Or the failures of Reconstruction in the South.� Apparently, after getting some heat on this statement, he backtracked two days later, tweeting: �And no, of course I�m not advocating �re-education camps� or anything like that. The point is that conservative infotainment is disinformation propaganda indistinguishable from cult programming, and social media algorithms enable it.� Well, that�s exactly what he called for, in addition to censuring media outletssuch as Fox and Breitbart (another tweet). He and Ocasio-Cortez are joined by key Hollywood influencers, other senators and representatives, the corporate media, and technology platforms that have already begun censoring,outing, and doxing those who do not agree with their political views. Amazing that the mainstream news media isn�t going after these people for their extreme, radical communistic and fascist actions. To label 75 million people as radical, white supremacistsand want to �reeducate� them is an outrage and a step toward tyranny. They are not talking about reeducating a few misguided people here, but rather all voters who did not vote for Joe Biden. Terror attacks in Israel sank to all-time lows with Palestinians themselves holding their own corrupt kleptocracy led by Mahmoud Abbas accountablefor their lower standards of living. Yet most impressively, American policy culminated with the signing of four separate normalization agreements between Israel and states across the Middle East and North Africa--theUnited Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan--and paving the way for future agreements already being negotiated. U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman This week, Netanyahu praised outgoing U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, a longtime Trump ally and adviser, for his role in advancing Israel's position in the region.A major component of Friedman's success was his direct line to the president. "I must say that over the years, I have met many ambassadors from many countries, including from the U.S., our great ally, but I can say that there was never a better ambassadorthan David Friedman in establishing the deep ties between Israel and the U.S.; in correcting the diplomatic injustices that were created over the years in global diplomacy regarding Israel, and in establishing the status of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel,and many other things some of which have yet to be told," stated Netanyahu. Those sentiments are shared by Israel's right- and left-wings, by those who support Benjamin Netanyahu in his upcoming re-election bid, and by those who vehemently opposeIsrael's longest-serving prime minister. Across the spectrum, Israelis recognize that regardless of Trump's performance in other areas, his pro-Israel bona fides were beyond dispute and greatly appreciated. Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Ron Dermer Meanwhile, Friedman's counterpart, Israeli Ambassador to the United States Ron Dermer, has not received the same superlative sendoff, despite his sterling diplomatic recordduring eight often-difficult years in Washington. In a tasteless hit piece on Dermer published by The Times of Israel, head of the progressive lobby J Street Jeremy Ben-Ami claimed that "Ambassador Dermer's tenure sadlyset back both the U.S.-Israel relationship and the relationship between Israeli and American Jews. His determination to act as a partisan operative, aligning Prime Minister Netanyahu's government with the Republican Party, seriously angered and alienated manyleading Democrats." For Ben-Ami and many Democrats, Dermer's tenure will not be measured on the merits of his vast accomplishments for Israel and the greater U.S.-Israel alliance, but rather,based on his intense loyalty to his mentor, Netanyahu, and his strong working relationship with the now-toxic outgoing Trump administration. Dermer played an outsized role behind the scenes in nearly every major diplomatic accomplishment, including the negotiations of the Abraham Accords. Perhaps surprising to most, one of the key foundation blocks of the Abraham Accords was also an accomplishment of Dermer's: organizing Netanyahu's public opposition to theJCPOA Iran nuclear deal via a controversial address to a joint session of Congress in March 2015. Then-president Obama's support for the deal, which would embolden and enrich Iran, sent Gulf states scrambling for reliable allies in the sudden absence of the United States.Netanyahu's bold opposition demonstrated that Israel would place its vital security interests and those of the entire region well above any other partisan interests in a divided Washington. The results of Dermer's numerous accomplishments are virtually all irreversible and will strengthen the Jewish state for decades to come, including the negotiation of a$38 billion, 10-year MOU in September 2016 to provide for Israeli military needs. That MOU was signed directly with the same Obama administration that claimed to have been so insulted by the speech just a year-and-a-half earlier. For Netanyahu, Dermer has been an irreplaceable asset. In a video celebrating the end of Dermer's tenure as ambassador during a private session of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, obtainedexclusively by JNS, Netanyahu praised his close adviser and associate. "I can tell you unequivocally that among some extraordinary people who served in that post, none has been better than Ron Dermer," stated Netanyahu. "I am choosing my wordscarefully because I think he's been an extraordinary ambassador. What he did for Israel, what he did for the Israel-American alliance, what he did for all of us is something that is not widely known, at least not in Israel." The prime minister, who noted that his own diplomatic career started as deputy chief of mission under then Ambassador to the United States Moshe Arens, said that Dermer"fought for Israel's interests whether it be on questions like Iran that are terrifically important for our future, our survival, whether it is to bring Jonathan Pollard home ... whether it is the peace treaties that have changed history. Ron has been a crucialand central figure in all these efforts, and so many others. I cannot begin to list them. They are truly innumerable ... "Ron has left an indelible imprint on Israeli diplomacy, on these defining years in Israel's history," he said. Intersectionality and race Yet the left in both Israel and the United States see it differently. The TOI hit piece went on to quote an anonymous "Democratic Party operative" in stating that, "You cannot overstate the impact that [Netanyahu's speech to Congress] had.I still hear from members of the Black Caucus to this day who are sure that Netanyahu and Dermer would not have done that to a white president." Like so many other critical issues, Israel's vital security interests are now dangerously conflated with issues of affiliation, intersectionality and race. On Tuesday, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) ranted on the Democracy Now! Television program that: "I think it's really important to understand Israel is a racist state and that they would deny Palestinians like my grandmother access to a vaccine, that they don't believethat she's an equal human being that deserves to live, deserves to be able to be protected by this global pandemic. And it's really hard to watch as this apartheid state continues to deny their own neighbors, the people that breathe the same air that theybreathe, that live in the same communities ... a free life, free from these oppressive policies, these racist policies that deny them access to public health, deny them access to freedom of travel, deny them access to academic opportunities." Just a few years ago, amid the surprising momentum of the Trump administration's Mideast policies, Tlaib and her ideas were considered to align at the fringe of the DemocraticParty. They represent just the latest in centuries of anti-Semitic canards and the more recent biased anti-Israel narrative. Tlaib's views certainly are not shared by the Gulf States that have now chosen to forego anti-Israel narratives, in favor of diplomatic and commercial normalization withthe Jewish State. Yet today, with the changing of the guard, Israelis and many others in the region are concerned that the Biden administration may align much closer with the inflammatoryviews of Tlaib, as well as the policies of Obama, who sought to create "daylight" between Washington and Jerusalem, empower Iran, elevate the standing of the Palestinian Authority and isolate Israel in diplomatic forums. Obama's parting shot is Biden's starting point The Obama administration's parting shot to Israel in December 2016 was enabling the passage of U.N. Resolution 2334, which claimed that Israeli settlements represented a"flagrant violation of international law." At the time, Israel accused the United States of authoring the resolution behind the scenes before abstaining during the voting to allow the unprecedented resolution's passage. Just this week, U.N. Secretary-General Ant�nio Guterres called on Israel to "halt and reverse" plans to build nearly 800 new homes in Judea and Samaria. In his statement,Guterres called Israel's suburban housing "a major obstacle to the achievement of the two-state solution, and a just, lasting and comprehensive peace," adding that "the establishment by Israel of settlements in the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967,including East Jerusalem, has no legal validity and constitutes a flagrant violation under international law." In other words, the parting shot of an Obama administration appears to be the starting point of the Biden administration. Israel and America were privileged to work closely together during four highly productive years, led in large part by the efforts of Friedman and Dermer. Never before havethe two countries simultaneously had ambassadors able to loyally carry out the mutually aligned policies of their respective leaders.
