This time for �high crimes and misdemeanors� and stating that the 14thAmendment prohibits a person from holdingoffice who has �engaged in insurrection or rebellion against� the US. The Articles of impeachment further outlined that the President �engaged in high crimes and misdemeanors by inciting violence against the Government of the United States.� It can be debatedwhether the President incited violence. Those on the President�s side, who know the meaning of words, can legitimately say he did not incite violence and the handful who did the violence made their own decisions. Those opposing him argue his remarks were adog whistle. The political party in control of the House is trying to ensure that Donald Trump never runs for or holds office again. The words insurrection and rebellion do not describewhat occurred on January 6. Insurrection is defined as: an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government. Rebellion is defined as: open, armed, and usually unsuccessful defiance of or resistance to an established government.A handful of people, unarmed, is hardly an insurrection or rebellion. But the victor writes the history and solidifies the narrative. Conservatism and Trump will long carry the black mark from this unpeaceful assembly and lawless act by a small group of undiscerningrioters�no matter the facts on who instigated, facilitated or directed it. This is insurrection and rebellion redefined as a grave warning. Consider the past five years of facts that don�t seem to matter. The Democratic Party and its leadership paid for a false dossier on Donald Trump; used it to get a warrantto spy on his campaign; conducted a highly visible and media-charged investigation on Russian collusion that found nothing; put people associated with Trump in jail; repeated the investigative narrative about a non-existent quid pro quo call with the UkrainianPresident; impeached Trump on baseless charges resulting from the aforementioned; relentlessly pursued disrupting and obstructing most everything of his administration�s actions; and somehow won an election amid a mountain of election fraud evidence that wassystematically suppressed by the mainstream media. Does any of this sound like insurrection? The impeachment is perhaps symbolic of socialist regimes. When socialist regimes take over a country, they usually have kangaroo tribunals resulting in execution of theopposition. With this impeachment, the President was politically executed. It also sends a strong message to all that those in power are politically intolerant of those who dissent or disagree, already evidenced by the coordinated censorship and cancellingof diverse opinion. Twitter also blocked Gen. Michael Flynn and Facebook removed the pageof the Walkaway campaign of former liberals who are now advocates for the conservative movement. Former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley said the social media giant was acting in a manner that was characteristic of Communist China. This sentiment was echoed by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) who tweeted, �What happened on Wednesday at the U.S. Capitol is as wrong as wrong can be, but canceling conservativespeech will not promote �unity and healing.�� Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz warned: �Big tech tyranny is playing out before our very eyes.� In contrast, many Democrats are calling for even more censorship. Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) said Thursday the steps taken by Facebook and Twitter were �too late and not nearlyenough� to curb the problem. Former first lady Michelle Obama called on Silicon Valley companies to �stop enabling this monstrous behavior,� permanently ban Trump, and create policies to prevent technology from �being used by the nation�s leader to fuel insurrection.� Ironically, other world leaders who are substantially more egregious than the admittedly bombastic Trump are permitted to post freely on social media as long as they donot make comments that run contrary to social media�s left-wing agenda. Twitter has been frequently criticized for allowing Iran�s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to call for genocide against Israel, a recent post of his was removed for casting aspersionson the COVID vaccine. As the social media tech giants are private companies and are, as such, free to choose what they post, angry users are free to express their displeasure by leaving and takingtheir business elsewhere. But even this freedom is being infringed upon as Amazon informed Parler, a platform similar to Facebook but with fewer restrictions and no left-wing bias, that they will be suspending their web hosting on Sunday. Unless Parler canfind an alternative hosting company willing to take its business, the site will no longer be able to function after 11:59 pm Pacific time on Sunday. Google and Apple removed the app from their stores so it can no longer be downloaded. On Friday, before themove, Parler was ranked number one in the number of downloads. But in the meantime, the message to conservatives is clear: Big Tech isn't just coming for Trump. They're coming for all of us -- and corporate America isn't far behind. The Tech giants used the claim that Parler allowed its platform to be used to advocate and coordinate violence at the capitol last week. If there was ever a case of thepot calling the kettle black, this is it. Homeland Security was forced to weigh-in this past summer in a letter to the social media giants saying the popular platforms appeared to play a role in facilitating "burglary,arson, aggravated assault, rioting, looting, and defacing public property." Are Twitter and Facebook responsible for the burning of Portland or the siege of Seattle? Then why are they holding Parler to a different standard? Oh, but there's morehypocrisy. Twitter and Facebook permanently booted President Trump because he refuse to accept an election fraught with irregularities, but they don't mind giving the Ayatollah Khameneia channel to spew his hate and "death to America!" This isn't about upholding any rules. This is about cutting off the oxygen to free speech on the Right. And the domino effect -- banishing people from other parts of the public square -- is already starting. Forbes's Randall Lane warns that a "truth reckoning" is coming foranyone who hires or associates with former Trump staffers. Other extreme organizations are already gathering names and data for the blacklist. Then, there are Joe Biden's allies, like Mozilla CEO Mitchell Baker, who says that "deplatforming" conservatives or crushing the alternatives they flock to isn't enough.This crusade needs to move beyond "temporary silencing or permanent removal of bad actors from social media..." Some of that is already starting. The Federalist's Joy Pullman has two words for any freedom-loving patriot in America: brace yourself. Everyone from local law enforcement to the National Association of Realtors (NAR) is trying to smoke out conservatives from their ranks. The NAR has even gone so far asto "revise" its professional ethics code so that employees on the clock and off can be held accountable for any expression they consider intolerant. "To them hate speech includes basic conservative ideas, not at all actually racist or otherwise indefensiblewords." In some areas, police departments have opened official investigations to see if anyone on their payrolls attended the January 6th protest. In other offices, employers areflat-out firing people who attended the rally -- even if they were part of the peaceful majority. And Biden's friends on the extreme Left still aren't satisfied. They want even more retribution. As Abigail Shrier pointed out when Senator Josh Hawley's (R-Mo.) book exposing Big Tech was dropped by Simon & Schuster, "'You aren't entitled to your book contract,' canquickly become 'United doesn't have to let you onto its planes' 'Marriott doesn't have to let you stay at its hotels,' or 'Visa doesn't have to let you use its cards.' And maybe that's the point." This is not just an attack on free speech. This is an attack on an entire movement of people with the intent of driving them underground -- keeping them from getting jobs,having legal representation, and even cutting them off from legitimate financial transactions like Stripe has done with the Trump campaign and organizations like the American Family Association. Of course, all of this blacklisting comes from the hypocrites on the Left who say living wages are a "human right" -- along with attorneys, health care, and the other thingsthey're so eager to deny us. Making matters worse, the Left doesn't fight like conservatives. They won't stop until all resistance is vanquished, and they assume total control of the narrative. And,as we've seen, they'll use any legitimate and illegitimate means to accomplish it. So, what do we do? Refuse to be intimidated, for one. The worst mistake we can make as Christians is to panic or roll over and give in to the censorship. As powerful as the Left's on-off switchesare, they're nothing compared to God. At the end of the day, "You can't pull the plug on Jesus," Phil Robertson insisted. Could this be a time of real testing? Absolutely. "Jesus said before he comes back, it's going to be as it was in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah," Pastor Jack Hibbs remindedus on Thursday. "And prophetically speaking, we know that those days are coming. Jesus said they're going to come. In America, we've had it very easy for a long time. And that doesn't mean we give up. It means that we get ready. The church is being purified. It happened during COVID,and the next chapter is starting. And we need to stand." Friends and family of faith, Jack said, get ready. "Get into your Bible like you never have before. Don't mess around. If you don't go to a Bible-teaching church, you needto find one, quick, that applies God's word to the world in which we live." There is nothing new under the sun, Ecclesiastes says. And while there may not have been Twitter in King Solomon's day, there was evil. I am vehemently against any form of slavery or tyranny. I believe ardently in the rights of freedom of speech,religious expression and peaceful assembly. The pattern that we are seeing among the Democratic Party, the mainstream news media and corporations is an alarming tide of censorship and soft tyranny. If one disagrees with the group think of those in power, youwill be shut down, ostracized, �cancelled,� labeled and even prevented from holding a job. The Democratic Party leadership is signaling that those congressmen who challenged election fraud and stood for election integrity will be censored for their actions. TheFBI released a statement that the agency expects protests in all 50 state capitols during the inauguration of Joe Biden, and that it is gathering information on potential threats. This is a statement that signals the FBI will collect information on those attendingany inauguration protests. In fact, the Mayor of Washington, DC has requested, and President Trump has granted, an emergency designation for over 15,000 National Guard troops for the inauguration. Citizens are being asked to stay home. These are forms of governmentcensorship and tyranny. On the corporate side, Amazon has shut down servers for Parlor and other organizations that are platforms for dissenting opinion of the left. Now big money is getting involvedas several Wall Street firms will withhold political donations to politicians known to support Trump or his policies. Twitter has removed the President�s account and many others such Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton. Facebook is shutting down accounts thatuse certain phrases about election fraud and election integrity. The Lincoln Project, a left-wing non-profit dedicated to outing Trump Administration workers and Trump supporters, is making a list and seeks to prevent them from getting jobs. The news media,such as CNN, is not even hiding complete disdain for Trump supporters, conservatives and Christians. Can you see the pattern? A one-party system in league with government agencies, the media, corporations and government-approved non-profits are acting to censor, even prevent people from their livelihoods,suppressing the free exchange of ideas and ideals that has made America successful. This is all being shut down, which is extremely dangerous to freedom, especially the First Amendment freedoms. Radical Democrats by hook or by crook now control the presidency, both houses of Congress, and nearly all media.If they move to pack the Supreme Court, we will become a one-party-rule nation. The Republican Party is dead of its own incompetence. Voters in Georgia had an easy decision to make about basic financial mathematics. If you vote Democrat, you collect $2,000. If you vote Republican, you don�t collect $2,000.The Republicans, having already given trillions over the past year, thought they were reasonable in rejecting the $2,000 stimulus check. Mitch McConnell will soon be the minority leader because he failed to realize that an election is an advanced auction of stolen goods. People didn�t need to �Advance toGo� to collect $2,000. All they needed to do was to vote Democrat. Goldman Sachs expects another big stimulus package to the tune of $750 billion in the near term now that Democrats have taken the Senate. We are now set to have a $7 trilliondeficit within a year�s time. The Democrats clearly have some type of well-oiled machine that allows them to magically pull out a win by the narrowest of margins. In the November elections, Trump wasleading Pennsylvania by 200,000 votes, then suddenly a big democratic county came along, which gave Biden a lead of a few thousand. The same thing happened in three other states, and it happened again in the second round of the Georgia elections. Both Republicancandidates had a lead of 50,000 to 100,000 votes. After most Republican counties were reporting 95% of their vote total, Dekalb County shows up with just enough votes to give the Democrats a double win. The storming of Capitol Hill by Trump supporters was incredibly foolish. At that point, there was no way to change the outcome of the electoral college vote. Vice PresidentMike Pence was presiding over a purely ceremonial role. If changes were to be made, they had to be made back in the states. The events of last week bring to mind the shooting at the United States Capitol in 1954. It was an attack by four Puerto Rican nationalists; they shot 30 rounds from semi-automaticpistols from the visitor gallery of the House of Representatives chamber. They wanted to highlight their desire for Puerto Rican independence from US rule. Because of the 1954 attack, security on Capitol Hill was greatly increased. When our country was young, you could walk right up to the White House and make an appointmentto meet the president. Today, White House security resembles a super-max prison. This latest attack will only work to turn Washington, DC, into a military complex that is totally isolated from the people it represents. My greatest fear for the future of America is civil war. Now that the Democrats are back in power, they have the means to pass laws that will shred our basic rights. Peopleon both sides are so radicalized, a state of open warfare is only a matter of time. The only common agreement is that anyone who urges Americans to exercise restraint is viewed as an enemy. Senator Chuck Schumer never misses a chance to wildly exaggerate events. He compares Wednesday�s chaos to Pearl Harbor: �Franklin Roosevelt set a day aside that will live in infamy. Unfortunately, we can now add January 6, 2021, to that very short list of dates in American history that willlive forever in infamy.� These people were a bunch of clowns who didn�t have any idea what they were trying to achieve. The most shocking thing is how easily they were able to invade the building. Schumer�s Pearl Harbor II will quickly fade when the next mob that storms Capitol Hill comes armed with AR-15s. It won�t take anything like the meltdown of the dollar totrigger an insurrection. No one could have predicted that the killing of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers would have been the spark to last year�s riots. When we ended 2020, many people expected it to be the worst year of their life. I don�t share this optimistic view. I think by June, we might remember 2020 as a time ofrelative tranquility. The Bible predicts that the lead-up to the rapture will be marked by things progressively getting worse. This pattern is so well established, end-time prophecy is the only explanation for our prolonged run of bad luck. �For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. The greater issue at hand is that this single event has evolved into a narrative that all conservatives and Christian conservatives are �domestic terrorists.� That meansthat 74 million people who voted for Donald Trump are somehow painted with the same broad-brush with the handful that stormed the Capitol, and are somehow now something less than deserving of a job, and having life and liberty. The amplification that the riotlast week was a coup attempt, an insurrection, clearly is not the truth. Coup attempts and insurrections are conducted with weapons, mass violence, executions, and mob-generated detentions aimed at heads of state, not inept legislative bodies. This was notclose to that. Let us, however, not excuse this event. The Constitution guarantees the right to peaceably assemble, and that�s not what happened. The Epoch Times chronology of January 6 documents that there were those with violent intent and there were those among the protesters who were trying to prevent such violence.Once again, however, Democrats are using the event and Trump�s remarks to impeach him and impugn his supporters. His remarks did not advocate or call for violence: �We�re going to walk down to the Capitol and we�re going to cheer on our brave senators andcongressmen and women�Because you�ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength and you have to be strong�We have come to demand that Congress do the right thing and only count the electors who have been lawfully slated�lawfully slated.I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.� Observations: The left harshly criticizes others for broad-brushing and stereotyping people, yet they are doing this with anyone who supported Trump; The censorship andcanceling of dissenters� is alarming; Passing on outrageous conspiracy theories as fact are counterproductive to solving the challenges we have as a nation; Advocating dictatorial, unconstitutional actions should be avoided; Protests and civil disobedienceare never successful unless there is a clear objective; Violence should be an extraordinary last resort unless in self-defense (History of Concord, Lexington). The Christian standard was established by Christ who said in Matthew 5:17, �Do not think that Icame to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.� Christ kept the law. He was a light to the world. He changed the world. And we can�t affordto let this one either. What happened Wednesday wasn�t America. We are not a bitter, desolate, violent people. We are a hurting people. A frustrated and divided people. But we are not a people broken beyond repair. I know that, because the vast majority of menand woman at the rally weren�t there to shatter windows or trash offices. They didn�t come to make congressmen crouch behind desks or run down the hallways in terror. They came peacefully � to air their grievances and ask for justice. The church did get involved. The church did vote. And I want to [say this to] all of you out there: You cannot be discouraged right now. Is it not going the way that we had hoped and prayed for? It appears that way.But God is on his throne. He knows exactly what�s going on. Heaven is not shaken by this. The word of God is not thwarted. What we need to do is find out what the Lord wants us to do next. But whatever that is, it will be honoring to the Lord Jesus Christand honoring to scripture. But we need to know the heartbeat of God, because violence like this, this is not it.� The last election may have been manipulated; it may have been corrupt. But Jack is right. We cannot give in to the turmoil we saw at the Capitol. For starters scripture makes it very clear that when we live by the law, we rebuke those whoare lawless. We have to work within the confines of our Constitution. As distorted as things have become, I don�t believe we�re at a point yet where we can�t work within the system to reform the system. Unfortunately, some people will still throw up their hands and say, �Oh, it�s all over. I can�t believe it.� As Jack said, �Get your eyes off of man and understand something.� God used President Trump in many ways, but he isn�t the lastor only person God can work through. instigators of this attack. There�s a wave of young, smart, godly leaders who ran for office and got elected in November. And more are coming. It�s not over. We still need to be stewards over this nation of ours. And if we don�t stand up and take courage and hold the line, then what�s the option? Surrender? No, we�renot going to do that. Jesus knows nothing about surrender. He didn�t surrender in the Garden of Eden. He didn�t surrender at the cross. And we�re going to do the same thing. I understand it�s a time to wipe the blood off your nose, catch your breath. My own emotion fits somewhere within that description. Chief among the various disconcerting aspects of the angst we who support a morally based, constitutional republic that the founders gave us is that we are made to looklike the progenitors of evil who are inflicting damage to the nation. It is a master stroke by the master of all evil orchestration�Lucifer the fallen one. I�m referring to the fact that all the blame has been placed upon the many thousands of Trump supporters who gathered to protest peacefully. All was, in my opinion, thenmanipulated to be seen as interrupting congressional proceedings to count votes and to consider recounts. It was a luciferic plan implemented to perfection in my view. The prophetic implications are profound, I believe. I will say, in advance, that I am including personal experience in this commentary. That is, I will include personalexperience that I realize many will reject as weirdly ecstatic in nature and extrabiblical. Nonetheless, this is what I believe I�ve been given to write at this moment. Therefore, I will risk the naysayers and ultra-discernment authority critics. More aboutthis a bit later. Everything seemed to change when the election results began to come in during the early morning hours of November 4, 2020. The Trump landslide that was underway suddenlygave way to a tsunami or avalanche of votes for the other candidate. This strange turn of events remains�to those who don�t understand truth�a mysterious thing to this day. The mystery is exacerbated by the fact that nobody in government with authority toexamine fraudulent election manipulations will allow the overly apparent irregularities to come under the light of inspection. But in reality things didn�t change. The scriptural truth from God�s Word remains in play to this moment. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, lethim be holy still. (Revelation 22:11) This truth will be in play, we are shown through the book of Revelation, right up to the moment Christ returns in power and great glory. That is because, of course, thefallen nature of mankind has not changed. Sin dominates, and those in whom it dwells wield earthly power under the leadership of the prince of the power of the air�Lucifer. Those producing America�s 2020 presidential election fraud, rather than desist in theirrage to�for the most part unwittingly�bring Antichrist to power, forge ahead toward the end of the age with their deception and subterfuge. So what about the Lord in all this destructive change being perpetrated? Where is He in light of the millions of prayers pleading that He miraculously intervene in the 2020election like we believe he did in the 2016 presidential election? Why is He now permitting this destructiveness? It certainly appears God is, as my title implies, loosening His grip. By that, of course, I mean that, to some, God seems to be no longer restraining evil and the rush toward globalist takeover to the same degree as He has up to this point.Yet He cannot lie, and His prophetic Word says the following, as we�ve looked at many times. And now ye know what [restrains]that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now [restrains] will [restrain], untilhe be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signsand lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.� (2 Thessalonians 2:6�10) The promise from the Lord is that He will, through the Holy Spirit indwelling the church (each believer in Christ for salvation) restrain the evil we see rampant all aroundus at this moment. So even though He might seemed to have loosened His grip a bit, allowing evil to have more leash, He is still restraining the Beast of Revelation chapter 13 from coming forth. He will do so until you and I as believers are removed in theRapture. Now to get to the part in this commentary of the personal, ecstatic experience of which I forewarned. Most who read these articles have heard of this a number of times.While I don�t deliberately look for reasons and/or situations in which to bring it up, it has once again come to mind in a quite direct impression. I am to use it here is what I believe is the directive. While doing what many of you are doing�thinking on what has just happened in this election�I was questioning, in prayerful attitude. Why weren�t the millions of earnestprayers answered as I thought they should be answered? Why are things suddenly reversed from the way they had begun turning after the 2016 election? From out of that fog of questioning emerged the one scene most powerfully available to replay upon the screen of my memory. And it was in brilliant, dynamic color and electricwith energy! It was during the three times I was somewhere in the heavenly realm on Good Friday, April 22, 2011. I flatlined four times, the hospital records show. But three of those times when my heart stopped due to the widow-maker heart attack, I stood before a cheering throng ofbeautiful, shimmering, young people who looked to be in their middle twenties. They were bidding me to come to them. The third time I went there, I was among them and we were all running toward something wonderful. It was a victory lap, with all the young people thrusting their hands highinto the heavenly atmosphere. I was shown over the months following that these were the cloud of witnesses of Hebrews 12:1�3. We were finishing that great race assigned to each believer. We would soonbe before the throne of God. But they hit me with the defib paddles yet again. I was back on the cath-lab table, and I, many of the doctors believe, was the beneficiary of a medical miracle�so muchso that they gave me my state�s �Cardiologist Patient of the Year� award. So it was that, when thinking deeply on why things had turned so dramatically on the early morning of November 4, the powerful, cerebral video instantly replayed. The youngpeople again were leaping with their hands thrust high. They were laughing and expressing their explosive exuberance as only the youthful can. This, I�ve been impressed many times, was and is Heaven�s approval. It is approval of the pre-Trib view of the Rapture of the Church, which I and many believers champion.It is approval of all who believe, teach, and cling fervently to that blessed hope of Titus 2:13. The replay of that, my one and only ecstatic experience, came instantly to mind, I�m convinced, to make clear the reason these things must happen as they are unfolding.Jesus Christ is on the very cusp of calling all believers to Himself before the Heavenly Father loosens His grip of restraint on this judgment-deserving world. Meantime, we are to be witnessing and working as royal ambassadors for the King of all kings and Lord of all lords, all the while watching, as given in Mark 13:37. For when you see all these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your head, for your redemption draws near.
