Do not let the corruption of this world distract you, be thoughtful, walk wisely, walk in the will of God, and use the time you have left to serve Him. Here are some reasons to believe the days are evil. One, concerning Israel’s recent war with Hamas and the PalestineIslamic Jihad, here are a few things that caught my attention: •On May 17, 2021, Turkey’s Pres. Erdogan called upon the UN, the UN Security Council, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and other internationalgroups to wrestle Jerusalem away from Israel and to establish a commission of Muslims, Christians and Jews to administer the city. •On May 18, 2021, Israel’s Prime Min. Netanyahu said Israel’s 9 days of strikes on Gaza have “set Hamas back by years,” and “We will continue [tostrike] as long as needed in order to restore the quiet to all citizens of Israel.” •On May 18, 2021, Israel shot down and recovered pieces of an armed Iranian drone that was launched from Syria or Iraq and entered Israeli air spacefrom Jordan. •On May 18, 2021, Kohanim (Jewish priests) wearing priestly garments reenacted the Shavuot (Feast of Weeks; Pentecost) Temple service. The servicecould not be held on the Temple Mount because the Palestinians were rioting, but it was held near the Temple Mount despite the rioting. •On May 19, 2021, four rockets were fired at Israel from southern Lebanon, but Hezbollah denied responsibility (Israel responded with artillery fire). •On May 19, 2021, it was reported that Israel has been striking Hamas’ navy. The head of Hamas’ submarine development program has been killed, thehead of Hamas’ naval commando force has probably been killed, 8 warehouses that store naval weapons, 10 naval posts and 22 ships have been destroyed, and more. •On May 19, 2021, Pres. Biden pushed Prime Min. Netanyahu to move toward a ceasefire with Hamas. Netanyahu said he is determined to continue untilhe has achieved quiet and security (peace and safety) for the citizens of Israel. Netanyahu said, “The possible responses to Hamas are to either conquer Gaza or deter them.” •On May 20, 2021, there was an 8-hour lull in Israel’s attacks on her enemies, but 341 rockets were fired at Israel. Despite that (and the fact that4,400 rockets had been fired at Israel since May 10), Prime Min. Netanyahu declared a unilateral ceasefire. •On May 20, 2021, it was reported that a long list of Arab writers (Arab writers, not Jewish writers) are saying this conflict was really a conflictwith Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood because they were financing and arming Hamas. According to these Arab writers, those that truly care about the Palestinians would want Hamas defeated and driven out of Gaza because they are oppressing the Palestinian people. For your information, here is this writer’s understanding of the ceasefire: •On May 20, 2021, following an Egyptian proposal, Prime Min. Netanyahu declared a unilateral ceasefire. •Hamas wanted a negotiated ceasefire, not a unilateral ceasefire. •Hamas was attacking Israel to force Israel to agree to keep Jews off the Temple Mount, keep Jews out of Muslim neighborhoods near Jerusalem, causeIsrael to abandon the holy sites, etc. •Israel’s unilateral ceasefire means that Israel did not make any concessions to Hamas or agree to any of the things Hamas wanted. •It also means that Israel can resume the attacks anytime Israel thinks it is necessary. •Israel did not give up the right to visit the Temple Mount, enter Muslim neighborhoods, abandon any of the holy sites, etc. •When Israel declared a unilateral ceasefire, world leaders stopped pressuring Israel to stop attacking the Palestinians. •But some started pressuring the Muslims to stop attacking Israel. •On May 23, 2021, Israel allowed a small group of Jewish visitors to visit the Temple Mount. •Hamas lost a lot of people, weapons, tunnels, buildings, money, etc., but not even one of their demands was met. •On May 25, 2021, there were no rockets being fired on Israel, but rioting and violence were still taking place. Two, Since the rocket bombardments stopped, Biden said he willgive Gaza $338 million, Pres. el-Sisi of Egypt said he will give $500 million to rebuild Gaza, and Qatar pledged $360 million (almost $1.2 billion so far). Why shouldn’t Hamas go to war if world leaders reward them like that? Of course, some always say the money helps the Palestinian people. In my neck of the woods, people call that “Hog Wash” (blarney, a lie, nonsense, stupidity, etc.). Past history shows that most of the money given to help the Palestinians always seems to wind up in the hands of terrorists, and most of it is used not to help the Palestiniansbut to finance future terrorist attacks on Israel. Three, concerning the Great Reset, on May 19, 2021, LifeSiteNewsposted an Apr. 9, 2021, interview with retired Roman Catholic Archbishop Carlo Vigano. In my words, Vigano said: •The Great Reset is an elitist effort to impose a series of changes on the masses because it would be difficult to get the changes approved if themasses are given a choice. •The changes are intended to prepare for the reign of the Antichrist. •The elite are hiding their true intent (deceiving the masses) under the guise of creating a better world, protecting the environment, freedom, equality,etc. •The principles they espouse reveals a hatred for religion, especially Christianity and Jesus. •Their idea of freedom is rebellion against God and the Word of God. •Their idea of equality is to place everyone on the same level, and that is the lowest level of society today. •Man is made in the image of God with the freedom to choose to obey or not obey God, but the globalists intend to remake man in an image they preferand force man to obey them. •Good and evil will not be defined by the Bible; it will be defined by them. •The Great Reset is not just setting the stage for the rise of Antichrist; it is also setting the stage for their godless world religion. •Covid is a tool the globalists have been using to justify restrictions on the natural freedoms and rights of the masses. Four, concerning the tracking of all buying and selling, onMay 24, 2021, it was reported that the Federal Reserve expects a money system similar to a digital dollar to be ready for use by the general public in two years. Five, concerning a falling away from the faith in the U.S.,on May 20, 2021, it was reported that an Arizona Univ. Cultural Research Center found that 43% of Millennials (18-36) and 31% of Gen Xers (37-54) do not know or care whether God exists. Only 40% of those that are 55 or older are believed to be born again. Concerning this, Dr. George Barna said, “The influence of the Christian church has diminished while the influence of arts, entertainment, and news media has exploded.” In conclusion, walk wisely, the days are evil, and you should not want to be embarrassed when Jesus returns. Six, concerning election fraud, on May 25, 2021, it was reportedthat radio host John Fredericks said Judge Amero could decertify the Georgia election if it is found that votes were counted twice. If Fredericks is right, the struggle to get this fraud to the U.S. Supreme Court could tear this nation apart. Finally, if you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, youmust be born again (John 3:3). At one time, Washington Square Park in Lower Manhattan was quite lovely, but now it is being described as �lawless� and �drug-infested� because of the hordes of drug addictsthat constantly hang out there� A lawless, drug-infested Washington Square Park is horrifying even famously free-spirited Greenwich Village residents. �We may be liberal but this has gone too far,� lamented Steven Hill, who has called the neighborhood home since 1980. �There have always been drugs in the park, mostly pot,but what�s emerged this spring is like nothing we�ve ever seen before.� Just like so many other public spaces in major cities across the country, Washington Square Park is no longer a safe place for families. These days, local residents are kept awake �until the wee hours� by the drug-fueled parties that take place night after night around the central fountain� Washington Square Park�s northwest corner was overtaken in recent months by a crack-and-heroin-filled �drug den,� while boisterous, booze-soaked raves around the centralfountain have kept neighbors up until the wee hours and left the historic green space trashed each morning. Of course this sort of activity can be found all over New York City these days. In fact, at this point even Times Square has been virtually taken over by drug addicts and homeless people� Andy Hort, who runs a printing company in Times Square, said he now avoid the area whenever he can. �There�s a lot more crime and a lot more drug addicts and vagrants everywhere,� he told DailyMail.com. �In the last three months, I�ve seen three or four people shootingup right in front of me.� What would you do if you started to see people regularly do heroin right in front of you? Would you move? That is what hundreds of thousands of New York residents have done, but even though so many people have moved out, crime rates in the Big Apple just continue to rise. The days when NYC was one of our safest major cities seem so far away now. According to the latest NYPD data, crime in the city is up 30 percent so far in 2021� In 2021, almost every type of violent crime is on the rise in New York City. According to recent figures from Compstat, the NYPD�s data gathering unit, crime is up 30 percentcity wide. At this stage, I don�t know why anyone would still want to live in New York. If you can believe it, even New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is publicly admitting that the city has a �major crime problem�� �New Yorkers don�t feel safe and they don�t feel safe because the crime rate is up. It�s not that they are being neurotic or overly sensitive � they are right,� GovernorAndrew Cuomo declared on Wednesday. �We have a major crime problem in New York City. Everything we just talked about, with the economy coming back, you know what the first step is? People have to feel safe.� I write a lot about New York, but city after city all over the country is dealing with the exact same thing. Crime rates are way up from coast to coast, and there is a new mass shooting in the news almost every single day now. The latest one comes to us from Miami� Miami-Dade police are investigating a deadly mass shooting that left two people dead and 20 others injured in what detectives described as a �targeted act of violence.� �This is a despicable act of gun violence,� said Miami-Dade Police Director Freddy Ramirez. �A cowardly act.� According to police, the shooting took place after a birthday party for a local rapper known as ABMG Spitta, birth name Courtney Paul Wilson. The killers were specifically waiting for people to leave that birthday party. It is being reported that �several gunmen sat in a white Nissan Pathfinder SUV in the parking lot for up to 40 minutes�, and when people started to pour out of the banquethall they jumped into action� Cellphone video shows the chaotic moments after the bullets stopped flying outside El Mula Banquet Hall. Up to 25 people were hit, and two were killed on the scene. People who live nearby heard the barrage of gunfire about 12:30 a.m. near NW 67 Avenue on Miami Gardens Drive. �It was like, �Pop, pop, pop, pop, pop,� and just kept going and then it stopped for a little bit, then it went a little bit more then it stopped,� explained neighbor GiannaDonoso This is what our nation has become. Our streets are soaked with the blood of the innocent, and millions of our young people are completely and totally out of control. These days, it seems like kids are becoming violent at younger and younger ages. Earlier today, I was shocked as I read a news story about a 14-year-old that had stabbeda 13-year-old cheerleader 114 times� Chilling new details have emerged about the fatal stabbing of a 13-year-old cheerleader who was found dead in a wooded area in Northeast Florida on Mother�s Day. On Thursday, State Attorney for the 7th Circuit R.J. Larizza announced during a news conference that Tristyn Bailey was stabbed 114 times while fighting off her killer.He said at least 49 of the stab wounds were to her hands, arms and head and that they were �defensive in nature,� according to local media reports. Nobody can deny that our society is deeply sick, and just about every sort of evil that you can possibly imagine is exploding all around us. If we stay on the path that we are currently on, there is no way that our story is going to end well. As a society, we need to turn around and reverse course immediately. But that isn�t going to happen, is it? We are like the drug addicts in Washington Square Park that just keep coming back for yet another hit. In one particularly desirable rural location, landlords are now asking for as much as $3,500 a month to rent a unit that has one bedroom and one bath. And for those lookingto buy, inventory is extremely limited, and anything that is listed for less than half a million dollars is likely to be a complete dump. For many Americans that bring home average incomes, it is already too late to relocate to some of the most desirable rural and suburban areas of the country because theyhave already been priced out of the market. Meanwhile, many people that had put off stocking up for the hard times that are approaching are discovering that there are widespread shortages of many of the products thatthey want to stock up on. At this point, even the Federal Reserve is starting to panic about how widespread the shortages have become� With the economy overheating, it will hardly come as a surprise that the latest Fed Beige Book � which found that the economy expanded at what the Fed absurdly called a �moderate pace� from early April to late May, at least clarifying that this was a �somewhat faster� rate than the prior reporting period � one of the top concerns was soaring costs, but nothing spooked the various Fed districts quite as much as what appearsto be a shortage of everything, with district after district complaining about broken supply chains, a lack of workers, and critical commodities that just can�t be procured, all resulting in sharply higher prices, slower delivery times and all around chaos. For certain items, it is now too late to do much stockpiling because availability is so limited. But the good news is that there is still plenty of food in the stores and there are still sufficient supplies of many basic essentials. So use this window of opportunity to grab what you can before prices start really going through the roof. Those that were promising you that everything would turn out just fine if you followed their instructions (such as Dr. Fauci) were not being straight with you. Everything is not going to be okay. The truth is that we are headed into the biggest meltdown in American history, and it is going to be exceedingly painful. Just look at what is happening in the western third of the nation. Summer is usually the worst season for violent crime in America, and authorities areopenly warning us that a �summer of violence� is approaching. But at this point it is difficult to imagine things getting worse because we are already in the midst of a horrific crime wave. According to the New York Times, homicide rates were up by an averageof �more than 30 percent� in 2020, and on average they are up �another 24 percent� so far in 2021. Never before in U.S. history have we seen homicide rates rise so quickly on a nationwide basis. Sadly, it appears that George Floyd�s tragic death was the spark that set off this crime wave. If you doubt this, just check out these numbers from Chicago� The year before Mr. Floyd�s death � from May 25, 2019, to May 25, 2020 � there were 2,885 shootings in Chicago that resulted in 521 deaths. From May 25, 2020, to May 25,2021, there were 818 deaths from 4,562 shootings, an increase of almost 60 percent in both categories, according to Christopher Herrmann, a professor of law and police science at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. You would think that things would settle down after a while, but homicide rates all over the nation have surged even higher here in 2021. For example, the homicide rate in Houston is up 27 percent so far in 2021� On Friday, the city had a total of 178 homicides for 2021, according to HPD. That number is a 27% increase from 2020. Now, with 10 more so far this weekend, the number is on the brink of 190. �It�s not going to get better anytime soon,� said Mike Knox, Houston City Council Member and Vice-Chair of the council committee. In other large cities, things are even worse. In Los Angeles County, the homicide rate has risen more than 95 percent up to this point in the year� LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva has bad news about crime. �So, for crime statistics, we don�t have good news � unfortunately. We�re looking at a 95.24% increase in homicides. That is comparing the same time frame this year to thattime frame in 2020.� Villanueva says many other types of violent crimes are also up, including aggravated assault up 13% and grand theft auto up 40% Sheriff Villanueva accuses the Board of Supervisors of not addressing the issue and called it an �existential threat�. In New York City, subway riders are increasingly becoming targets of violent crime. In some cases the criminals are after money, but in other cases there doesn�t seem to be any particular motive for the attacks. Overall, the number of transit-related crimes that were reported in one recent week was more than twice as high as the number reported in the same week last year� Citywide statistics show that subway crimes are occurring drastically more frequent this year than they were in 2020. Fifty-five transit-related crimes were reported in the past week alone � compared with just 21 in the same period last year, according to NYPD CompStat. For the first time in decades, many New Yorkers are afraid to ride the subway, and that isn�t going to change for the foreseeable future. In other parts of the country, Uber drivers have become prime targets for criminal predators. Criminals know that Uber drivers are almost certainly not going to be armed, and they are often driving very nice vehicles. So we have seen an epidemic of Uber drivers gettingcarjacked, and in some instances they are even being murdered� FOX 32 obtained Ring doorbell video that captures four males with hoods up approaching a blue Ford four-door car. One male gets in the back. Inside, there was a strugglewith Uber driver 38-year old Joe Schelstraete from Indiana. The video shows a suspect open the door, but it stops right as the father of three was shot in the head. Before all of this craziness started, being a driver for Uber or Lyft was a way to make some decent money on the side, but now I am recommending that all of my readers avoidthis kind of work from now on. A little bit of extra money is not worth the potential risk. These days, even kids are turning into violent criminals. In fact, two kids just got into a terrifying gun battle with police in Florida� A 14-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy fled from a Florida juvenile home and broke into a house, where they found a small arsenal � a shotgun, an AK-47 and plenty of ammunition.When confronted by sheriff�s deputies, the pair opened fire, sparking a gunbattle. The gunfire ceased only after deputies wounded the girl, who was in critical but stable condition Wednesday, a day after the violence unfolded near Deltona, about 30 miles(48 kilometers) northeast of Orlando. The boy then surrendered. The thin veneer of civilization that we all take for granted on a daily basis is steadily disappearing, and we have entered a time when cities across the nation are descendinginto chaos. When I look around, I don�t even recognize the country anymore. Millions of our young people have seemingly gone completely nuts, but of course this is a direct result ofhow we have raised them.
