BIDEN UPDATE: 6.19.21 - IRS back at religious persecution

He oversaw a doubling of gasoline prices, inflation wentfrom 5% to 14%, interest rates climbed from a little over 7% to 16%, and unemployment in some parts of the country was in double-digits. His foreign policy was as much as a disaster. The Democrat president actually tried to use food as a weapon by embargoinggrain sales to the Soviet Union, decimating American farmers, and he promoted Islamic terrorists by trying to normalize relations with the terrorist Palestinian Liberation Organization and helping to foment the Iranian revolution that installed the terroristsAyatollahs. While the Biden Administration’s economic and foreign policies have not reached their maturity, it doesn’t take much extrapolating to predict a repeat of the Carter years.Already, burgeoning government spending programs in the trillions are on the precipice of causing the same impacts that we had on the economy in the 1970s. For example, Biden’s economic policies already have caused an erosion of your purchasing power. TheBureau of Labor Statistics most recent report indicated the real earnings of American workers fell for the fifth consecutive month in May. The culprit: Inflation. The mere threat of unbridled government spending, increasing the deficit, and expanding governmenthas accelerated this issue. The New York Post’s Will Feuer reports, “The Labor Department’s Consumer Price Index, which measures a basket of goods and services as well as energy and food costs, jumped5 percent in May from a year earlier. That’s higher than April’s 4.2 percent year-over-year rise in prices, and the biggest 12-month rise since August 2008, just before the financial crisis sent the US into the worst recession it had seen since the Great Depression.Economists surveyed by Dow Jones expected a 4.7 percent spike in May.” That economists expected 4.7% and it was actually 5% means that other market factors will be triggered that will complicate problems—not for people like Biden, but for people like you andme. Biden’s foreign policy is also an issue. Since taking office, Russia, China, the terrorist Palestinian groups, and the world’s foremost terror sponsor, Iran, all have becomefar more aggressive. At the same time, Biden’s approach is appeasement. Talk tough, but act soft. These international bullies are going to beat Biden like a burdened donkey. This will cause further market anxiety and pressure the economy—end result—you andI get the brunt of higher prices, ransomware shutdowns, etc. Proverbs 28:3 says, “A destitute leader who oppresses the poor is like a driving rain which leaves no food.” In other words, a leader who seeks his own gain leaves nothing for others. The IRS denied the 501(c)(3) application for the organization Christians Engaged because the IRS considers bible teachings to be affiliated with the Republican Party. I�m not making this up. The IRS actually put it in a letter denying ChristiansEngaged application. In May 2013 there was much written about how the IRS was singling out and harassing conservative and religious groups. After being held in check by the Trump Administration for four years, the IRS is back in the business of thumping Biblebelievers. Remember during the Obama Administration that many groups who were critical of the occupant of the Oval Office were fingered for extra IRS harassment. Red State reportedin May 2013, �Among the ministries targeted are the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Samaritan�s Purse and the Biblical Recorder�the newspaper of the North Carolina Baptist State Convention. The revelations seem to indicate the IRS was targeting morethan just Tea Party groups and conservative political organizations.� This recent incident with Christians Engaged demonstrates how an unconstitutional agency like the IRS can sway back and forth on its interpretation of administrative law based on what politicianholds office. In denying Christians Engaged 501(c)(3) designation, the IRS wrote: �For example, you educate believers on national issues that are central to their belief in the Bibleas the inerrant Word of God. Specifically, you educate Christians on what the bible says in areas where they can be instrumental including the areas of sanctity of life, the definition of marriage, biblical justice, freedom of speech, defense, and bordersand immigration, US and Israel relations. The bible teachings are typically affiliated with the [sic Republican] party and candidates. This disqualifies you from exemption under IRC Section 501 (c)(3).� In one sense, this should be a message to all Democratswho would like to consider themselves Christians�the Democratic Party does not align with Biblical principles�even the IRS understands this. You should, too. This also should be a message to all Christians�the IRS will take any opportunity to deny your freedom of religion. It is an indicator that the Biden government sees Christiansas having no rights. But the First Amendment guarantees Christians freedom of speech and free exercise of religion. You do not have to ask the IRS permission to raise money for religious purposes. Religious groups ought to embrace their First Amendment rightsthat prevent government interference in their ministries�people will still give according to what the Lord lays on their hearts.
