Islam and Democrat Presidents - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com Everyone is dissecting the latest failure of a Democratic President—Joe Biden and Afghanistan. The media is already towing the Democratic Party line that it is former PresidentDonald Trump’s fault that the terrorist group Taliban has easily overrun and taken control of Afghanistan. Biden, in a White House statement, started the Trump blame game rolling when he said on Saturday, August 14, “When I came to office, I inherited a dealcut by my predecessor.” This is in stark contrast to his July 8 statement referring to 1975 Saigon: “There’s going to be no circumstance where you are going to see people being lifted off the roof of an embassy of the United States from Afghanistan.” But hesent troops to evacuate the Embassy. Biden, in that same July 8 presser, said the Taliban was not competent enough to take over Afghanistan. He emphatically said several times that the Taliban was no threatto a military takeover. Today he is hiding out at Camp David on some sort of “vacation” while thousands of Americans are stranded in Afghanistan, the Afghani president has run for his life, and the Taliban have captured the country, now named the Islamic Emirateof Afghanistan. That was the name of the country when the Taliban were in control 20 years ago. Lest we forget, the Taliban was in cahoots with al-Qaeda in orchestrating the 9/11 attacks on the twin towers in New York and on the Pentagon. Today, every decentperson in Afghanistan is fearing for their lives; all the sacrifice by American soldiers appears to be in vain; and Biden is hiding out at Camp David blaming Trump. Trump set the record straight in a Saturday statement, saying, “Joe Biden gets it wrong every time on foreign policy, and many other issues. Everyone knew he couldn’t handlethe pressure. Even Obama’s Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates, said as much. He [Biden] ran out of Afghanistan instead of following the plan our Administration had left for him—a plan that protected our people and our property, and ensured the Taliban wouldnever dream of taking our Embassy or providing a base for new attacks against America. The withdrawal would be guided by facts on the ground. After I took out ISIS, I established a credible deterrent. That deterrent is now gone. The Taliban no longer has fearor respect for America, or America’s power…This is complete failure through weakness, incompetence, and total strategic incoherence.” Here is the kicker: What is it with Democrat Presidents and radical Islam? Jimmy Carter destabilizing Iran in favor of the terrorist-sponsoring Ayatollahs and supportingterrorist Yassir Arafat…Bill Clinton’s support for the terrorist Kosovo Liberation Army…Barack Obama’s support of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood’s Arab Spring that destabilized the Middle East…and now Biden looking the other way as the Taliban takeover Afghanistanin a week. Do these Democrat leaders ever learn? Or do they favor evil? Or both? Proverbs 17:13 says, “Whoso rewards evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.” Is this specific to America’s leaders or to those voting them into office or to Americaas a nation when these enemies of God are favored? All the above? Remember it rains on the just and the unjust alike. What’s next? ---------------------------------------------------------------- Biden blunder has worldwide consequences � Bill Wilson � www.dailyjot.com In what some are describing the worst foreign policy blunder in decades, President Joe Biden mustered up all the fortitude he could, stepped in front of the American people,and blamed everybody but himself for the Afghanistan crisis. He blamed the previous president. He blamed the Afghan military. He blamed the Afghan government for its reluctance to allow a preemptive US evacuation. After blaming everyone else, Biden remindedhimself and others that, �I am the president of the United States and the buck stops with me.� His address was so fraught with blame and contradictions, however, that the only conclusion can be that Biden bungled the whole thing, with huge consequences forthe future. He said, �My national security team and I have been closely monitoring the situation on the ground in Afghanistan and moving quickly to execute the plans we had put in placeto respond to every constituency, including � and contingency � including the rapid collapse we�re seeing now�We were clear-eyed about the risks. We planned for every contingency.� Then he contradicted that claim by saying, �The truth is: This did unfold morequickly than we had anticipated.� This is an admission that he and his security team totally misread the situation and failed to respond as the terrorist Taliban moved through Afghanistan and conquered all the cities that American troops fought, died and weremaimed for life to secure. Biden blamed President Trump, saying he inherited the Trump peace deal for a May 1 US troop withdrawal. Biden said that �The choice I had to make, as your President, waseither to follow through on that agreement or be prepared to go back to fighting the Taliban in the middle of the spring fighting season. There would have been no ceasefire after May 1. There was no agreement protecting our forces after May 1. There was nostatus quo of stability without American casualties after May 1.� Biden failed to admit that he pushed back the withdrawal beyond May 1. Trump�s agreement was to fully withdraw troops in exchange for the Taliban to not attack American forces and cut ties withal-Qaeda. Biden obviously didn�t have the grit to stand up to the Taliban that was central to Trump�s strategy. And the Taliban knew Biden would be a pushover. Reports are that the Taliban has freed al-Qaeda terrorists from the prisons and has seized extremely valuable US military assets that were left behind because of Biden�sbotched retreat. Already, the Pentagon is �reassessing� the terrorist threat due to Biden�s blunder. Biden�s botch has ripple consequences across the world for the balance of power. China, Russia, Iran now know that Biden does not have the courage to defendthe interests of the United States and its allies. Israel and European allies now know they can�t count on Biden. Joe Biden and his merry band of anti-American misfits are making a mess of things. Seriously. There isn�t a day goby without a serious breach of common sense. Oh, yes, everyone should be vaccinated against COVID 19. Everyone, that is, except the illegal aliens that Biden is allowing to cross the border at record rates without any COVID vaccine. He is also shipping themacross America to a town near you or your hometown, and paying for their hotel rooms so they can infect the rest of us. Yet those who do not want to be forced to get vaccinated (my body, my choice for killing babies, but not getting vaccinated), are consideredanti-American murderers. WOW. Biden also pulled off the most stupid foreign policy move since the sentiments of Neville Chamberlain, who wanted to appease Adolf Hitler of all people. Biden says the buckstops with him, yet he blames everyone else for his stupid decision to let the terrorist Taliban walk all over him. He can couch the whole idea that he refused to be that �president� to pass along the Afghanistan civil war to another president, but the factis he folded like a lawn chair when it came to protecting American interests in Afghanistan. �Oh, the Afghani government wouldn�t let us evacuate early.� C�mon man, grow some courage. You let them have American equipment and weapons without putting up so muchas a paper clip as resistance. What about gas prices? Before Biden took office, America was energy independent. Now we are, quite frankly, energy screwed. This joker implements the communist green energyplan without any phase in. Cut the Keystone pipeline and a few thousand jobs and watch gas prices go up 50 cents. And what about all that inflation? Biden economic policies are front and center to people not even wanting to go back to work because of COVIDincentives. He is sending jobs back to he and his son�s best friends forever (BFFs), China, and cowering in a corner hoping China doesn�t flex their military muscle on Taiwan. Well, I would hate to be in Taiwan�s shoes right now, given how Biden squished inAfghanistan. Back in 1979, I thought there was no way that any president would be worse than Carter. In the 90�s, I thought Clinton was almost as bad as Carter. In 2007, I was cringingthat a Republican possibly could be as bad as Carter. Then we had a Marxist, who really messed things up. Then we had a president that actually did well, but many people didn�t like how he did it. But now. Wow. This Biden guy is every bit as bad or worse thanCarter. He is an unmitigated disaster only eight months into his four-year term.
