 Coming Anti-Christ will Rule the World in the Tribulation -Pastor Mike Taylor - https://pastormiketaylor.blogspot.com/2022/01/rise-of-anti-christ.html 24 “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity,and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. 25, Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescoreand two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26, And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary;and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.” (Daniel 9:24-26) 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:” (2nd Thessalonians2:3-8) The prophecy given to Daniel has caused many people to strain to understand what this prophecy begins and ends. Many believe that it was all settled in 70 AD when the templein Jerusalem was destroyed, and there is no more prophecy to be completed. That would be a Preterist view, but they can't explain why it is that 483 years was completed to the day, when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the back of a colt AND the plagues that Revelationspeaks of. 9 “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass,and upon a colt the foal of an ass.” (Zechariah 9:9) In the New Testament, this was repeated in Matthew chapter 21: 5 “Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass. 6And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, 7And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon. 8And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.” (Matthew 21:5-8) In a few days, Jesus would be condemned to death in an illegal Sanhedrin Court and crucified on a Roman cross...the Time clock of this prophecy, STOPPED!!. There is still one year week that must be completed that would complete the prophecy given to Daniel by Gabriel. The Bible calls this the time of Jacob's trouble and itis in the future...possibly, the near future. 6, “Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. 7Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt: 8And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their facesshall be as flames. 9Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.” (Isaiah 13:6-9) The Bible talks of this time, also called the Tribulation for 3.5 years. Followed by the Great Tribulation for the same time frame. During this time, a man we have readabout in the Bible called the Anti-Christ, the son of perdition...The Beast. He will arise and reveal himself by confirming a treaty with Israel for 7 years. WHY WILL ISRAEL ACCEPT THIS MAN? I had a member of my online “congregation” ask me why the Jews would accept this man as their “savior” when he may not be even Jewish. Good question. Why would they? Answeris the nation of Israel has been looking for a “political” savior, much as they did in the time of Jesus...The ruling authorities would not accept Jesus, the Son of God, who was standing right in front of them, because He didn't fulfill the preconceived notionof who the Messiah would be. They were looking for a warrior king, much like King David to rid themselves of Roman domination and restore their golden days as a nation. They didn't believe in a lowly, poor Rabbi, even if He did miracles. It was not who theywanted, so they rejected Him...Jesus said to the ruling authorities: 43 “I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. 44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only? 45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. 46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me. 47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?”(John 5:43-47) In Jesus time, Rome occupied Israel and they didn't think they needed a “spiritual Savior”...they had Moses and the Law that could justify them in God's eyes...little didthey know the real purpose and mission of the only Begotten Son of God, and they helped complete the plan of salvation, unwittingly. But it was God's plan all along. Israel or even us, cannot save ourselves by keeping the law, as it condemns us, but God sentHis Son, in the form of sinful flesh (but lived a sinless life), to save us, when we could not save ourselves!! MODERN DAY ISRAEL Flash forward to our time, and the nation of Israel is again in great threat of extinction, at least in their own minds. They are again, looking for a political savior andthey have the same attitude the world has when the secretary general of NATO said: “What we want is a man of sufficient stature to hold the alliances of all people and to lift us out of the economic morass into which we are sinking. Send us such a man,and be he god or devil, we will receive him.” Henri Spaak circa 1957-1960 Secretary General of NATO I believe the nation of Israel will accept a “peace maker” who will give them a sense of security, even if it's a false security, and he doesn't have to be Jewish, justa powerful political presence. It's a political savior they seek, not a spiritual one. Unlike, but in some points, similar to their forefathers, Israel today is not concerned about their spiritual condition. They are more concerned about their safety and theirnational identity before the world. They long for peace, and that Israel be recognized the homeland of the Jews. Stage right, the Anti-Christ, a political “savior” that gives them what they want...although its that false sense of security. WHEN WILL THE ANTI-CHRIST TAKE OVER? According to the Bible, before this man of sin can rise to power and perform a peace treaty with Israel that kicks off the Tribulation, there must exist three things forthis to happen. -there must be an operational global government in place that he takes control of. -There must be an existing, operational global economy -And there must be an operational global religion to bind them all together. Why do they have to be all in place before the Anti-Christ seizes control of complete dictatorship of the whole world? His agenda is a pretty ambitious schedule for thisman of sin when he arrives on the scene and reveals himself to the world. He has only seven years to complete his plans according to Bible prophecy, which is barely enough time to accomplish these tasks assigned to him by God who is really in control of thispart of the final rule of mankind on earth. Before this man arises, there must a “glue” that binds the nations together to complete the other two. He must have a global religion to demand worship, the global economyto enforce compliance, and the global government to punish transgressors. So to accomplish all this in so short a time, these things must already be in place. After all, remember, he only has seven years. It is enough time to seize power of thereins of the government, but not enough time to build the system. Looking to the United Nations, there is already a weak global governance system in place, but there in no centralized global government......YET!! We MAY see the start of this before Jesus removesus from this planet. Then it may takes a few years for the above to flourish to allow the Anti-Christ to take control. Reason being, the United Nations is a paper tiger when it is put under political pressure. The idea is sound, the infrastructure is there...the plan and resources are there,but there is no real leadership to bring it all together. While the U.N. has the authority and the power necessary, the debate over the use of force to back up its own resolutions continues to rage on. They make resolutions, but no resolve to complete them. To have this come to pass in rapid fashion, something major would have to happen...a major revolution to convert the current national systems of the world over to a centralizedauthority...OR besides a revolution, a loss of hundreds of millions of people all in a flash, without a logical explanation would hasten that development. Everyday, I see fascinating developments that is bringing the plan all together, one piece at a time...but in rapid succession, then slowing down and speeding up again.Here we find different prophecies from different parts of the Bible, made in different eras, overlapping and becoming interdependent upon one another to bring about their fulfillment. The global religion is continuing to develop. It is unclear what its final form will be. It is possible that it could be Islam in some form, or maybe a hybrid combinationof all three major religions. I've written in the past about a hybrid form of the merging of Christianity and Islam called Chrislam....it is being pushed for the unity of all the major religions, even as I type this message, by none other than the so called “vicar of Christ” the pope in Rome. In recent days, the idea of uniting all religions back to the “mother church” has flourished in the country of Dubai....three buildings of Catholicism, Islam, and Judaism are now built to promote the concept of “Chrislam”. ISLAM, A RELIGION OF PEACE??? Presidents have pandered to the Islamic religion, as noted by former president Bush that called Islam a religion of peace, or after him, the elected “idiot in chief” whothankfully is gone from office, that took every chance he could get to call Islam a religion of peace and push for recognition of this “religion” in this country. Or that God is just another name for “allah”...Plus there is all the other suspects that pushfor unity of main religion that is saying, come to the “mother Church” ....again, by none other than the Vatican and the Pope. Many have believed, including yours truly, that the Pope in Rome is a prime candidate to fulfill the prophecy of the false prophetas I have written in the recent past. It's no coincidence that all three systems in their currentform have begun to convulse and shudder. Jesus warned that signs in the sun, moon and stars, together with the fear of sweeping climate changes would overwhelm the planet. "And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's heartsfailing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken." (Luke 21:25-26) We are already have seen natural wonders on earth and in the heavens...animals dying all over the world...fish dying by the millions...earthquakes that cause tsunamis thathave killed 1/4 of a million people in one horrific event...Volcanoes that have suddenly come awake all over the planet...People are getting alarmed, but this is just the birth pangs...Wait when it really gets fearsome to live on this planet and even survivethe natural environmental disasters, let alone what can only be labeled Divine plagues that kills millions of mankind. THE PLAGUE OF CLIMATEs CHANGE??? Men have been trying to convince the world with science that can only be labeled as “suspect”, but they demand that we embrace the concept as settled scientific facts. Consider Robert F. Kennedy's contemptuous comments at the Live Earth event at Giants Stadium in NJ on July 4, 2009. "The next time you see John Stossel, or Glenn Beck, or Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity – these flat earthers, these corporate toadies, lying to you, lying to the Americanpublic and telling you that global warming doesn't exist – you send an e-mail to their advertisers and tell them you're not going to buy their products anymore." The guy sounded more like a fundamentalist railing against the sin of mankind, instead of a politician. And this is the left's definition of tolerance?? Then there is the “prophet” Al Gore who is still spewing this same idea forever since he lost the election back in 2000. Lastly, we have a wet behind the ears teenager from Sweden, one Greta Thunberg who is seeking to shame governments over “Climate Change” when she said : “We don’t want to become politicians, we don’t want to run for office,” she said. “We want you to unite behind the science. I’m sorry, I know you’re probably trying veryhard, and this is not personally to any one of you but generally to everyone. I know you’re trying, but just not hard enough.” Amazingly, people are actually listening to this teenager as the spokesman for Climate Change and speaking for the youth of many countries. Why do they listen to a “Littlegirl” who has no real life experiences due to her young age?? Is it a conspiracy from many different perspectives of the population? Personally, I have always believed in a climate change pattern, but it's natural...it's been going on since time began. It's called “weather”. I don't believe in a man-madeclimate problem that we must throw tons of cash at. All that is about is global control and re-distribution of wealth. During the last century, the earth's weather has cooled, then got warmer, then cooled again to where they were predicting unusual cold patterns...itgot so ridiculous, that the “global warming” fanatics had to change tactics and call it “Climate Change' to encompass everything. That brings me to the U.N.'s Climate Change initiatives called in the 1990s as Agenda 21...that didn't go anywhere for a while, until they got a spokesman for their NEWand IMPROVED Agenda 2030 as a mascot who advocated that we must all fight climate change and spoke at the U.N. in favor of this debacle...who was that “man”....wait for it....the Pope in Rome. It all falls under the mantra of “Sustainable Development” thatall nations must sign onto by the year 2030. Remember the third point that must be in place, before the Anti-Christ can seize power?...a global religion to bind the nations together. That is the third pillar that thecoming Anti-Christ government will rest. The New World Order will push the notion of save the planet, and as a Pagan belief about “Mother Earth” it will become the new world religion surrounding this mantra promoted by the Pope, the U.N. And various spokesmennoted above. But first the coming lawless one must have control of the world's economy. The global economy exist right now, but what is missing is some centralized authority. Right now, a shaky economic authority is the central banking system found in theFederal Reserve. I say shaky, because the the U.S. Dollar has hit many bumpy roads and in the near past, thanks to the flooding the market with trillions of counterfeit dollars and, was devalued in favor of the Chinese currency, or a New World Currency calledthe SDR (Special Drawing Rights). Because of the fraudulent manipulation of the global economy, the world's nations are not fooled, as fraudulent, means imitation because the Fed has the authority to print them, but NOT the money to back them. Then we havevarious new forms of money, such as 10 alternative currencies, from Bitcoin to BerkShares, all designed to take over the economy of the world. Now we see where cash in hand will be outlawed and “digital” currency will be introduced, leading to complete governmentcontrol and the mantra “you will own nothing and be happy”. THE COMING WORLDWIDE RULE BY THE ANTI-CHRIST The prophet Daniel says the Anti-Christ is a “prince' of the empire that would destroy the Temple and Jerusalem and that happened in 70AD by General Titus, who also becameEmperor of Rome. “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreadingof abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” (Daniel 9:27) But the Apostle John saw the Anti-Christ as a political leader who would rise up out of the sea of nation. “And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the nameof blasphemy.” (Revelation 13:1) But before this global “emperor” can arise, there must be an empire in need of one. But it is apparent that the Western World would only be too happy to submit to one, atleast in the last dozen or so years. The push for a New World Order took a huge leap under the Obummer administration, that thankfully is no longer pushing the New World Order, but others have taken the mantle of seeking the same. (note our present idiot inchief that is mentally challenged with Obummer whispering in his ear) The Trump election gave the religious right the hope that this push for a global government will have met a stall, as that President in the oval office was rabidly a nationalist,who made “Populist” promises of “America First” and we will make “America Great Again”...For the last four years of his presidency, President Trump delivered on a lot of his promises, even with the Democrats trying to sabotage him at every step along the way. THE GLUE THAT WILL BIND THEM. These are loosely jointed to one another, but there must be a common belief among the inhabitants of the world to bind them all together. That issue, 'religion' –as mentioned, is the third pillar upon which the Antichrist's infrastructure rests. John prophesied of a second 'beast' -- the false prophet -- whowill elevate the Antichrist to the position of a deity. “And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, thatthey should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of thebeast should be killed. 16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (Revelation 13:11-17) The Bible says that in the last days, God will send a 'strong delusion' but that delusion will only affect those "who received not the love of the truth that they mightbe saved." The need for a global religion that is globally accepted is palpable. The Roman Catholic Church is front and center to draw all denomination together, under the banner of Climate Change and save the planet. No other leader of the so-called religiouscommunity demands the attention that the Pope in Rome garners. His words are on the lips of over a billion people who actually, if truth be told, worship this man as “God on earth” or the vicar of Christ. 3 “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” (2nd Thessalonians 2:3-4) In the last days, the Bible says the whole world will be conditioned to accept a savior, a messiah of sorts, who will seem to have all the answers to the religious, economicand political problems facing the world. The Bible demands the existence of a global government (in need of leadership) a global economy (in need of leadership) and a global religion (in need of leadership.) Theworld demands global leadership, period. Any leader will do, provided those who love unrighteousness like what he promises. It's not even a problem to them that they know he can't deliver it. It is the promise that is important. The two past and present democratic “idiots in chief” promised changefor a platform that “we can believe in” without even outlining what that change would be or how he would get from point A to point B. Many thought Obama was the coming Anti-Christ, and he sure had some of the marking of him, but I believe he was just settingthe stage for the real deal. Never in history of mankind has it been possible to impose a global government, a global economy, or a global religion. Not politically, not administratively, and surelynot technologically…until the time we live in...the end of this age, we call the Age of Grace. IN the past 100 years...or even the last 70 years, the efforts to unite the world under a single government was a recipe for disaster and for World War...it did cause WW2...Hitlerwas a precursor to the rise of the Anti-Christ, but it was not time. What he did cause was the birth of a new nation...the birth of Israel...Not before that time, was the last days clock even wound, until Israel again became a nation against all odds. Thenthat clock that heralds the last generation began to TICK.....so now 73+ years later, a One World Government is seen by many in the public and government arena as the only option. But make no mistake, the current economic condition and its system will probably not survive. Don't be fooled with the rally on Wall Street sending the market over the 29thousand mark...it's a fluff, smoke and mirrors. By all reports, the stock market crash of 1929 looks a lot like the economy we are seeing today and could very well be a repeat of the Great Depression. I have explored many possible scenarios of what the Beast power will look like and where it MIGHT come from...such as Rome, the USA, or even a Middle Eastern Country, suchas Saudi Arabia, or Turkey. But we just don't know for sure...the picture is a little hazy and we see the picture growing a little more clear as time passes, but I am a firm believer that we will never know the man himself, as he takes control. Here is what I do know. I know that the Bible says that three things would have to come into existence, more or less simultaneously, as part of the overall blueprint ofBible prophecy for the last days. Those three things are what we have been talking about, the global government, global religion, and global economy. At no time in all of recorded history were all three systems "on the table" so to speak. But they are today. Even the most ardent and determined skeptic can't deny the trends -- at best they can only quibble over the details. But all the signs are there -- and the signs are whatJesus told His disciples to watch out for. WHAT WOULD SEND THE WORLD OVER THE EDGE? Let's back up a bit and flesh out a comment I made earlier that was highlighted in bold and italics...what would happen if this were became true in the near future? Let me hypothesize for a moment and ask you what would happen to the world's economy if upwards of nearly a billion (give or take a million) people suddenly vanished withoutso much as a trace? In the USA, the world's center for Christian values, (I use that tongue in cheek, as it is fast going south) were to have officials, CEO's, military officers, maybe even the POTUS and his Vice President suddenly vanish? See the world hasbeen teetering for a long time, and you got to wonder, what is holding this planet, the civilizations of the free world together? Many have forecast doom and gloom for a long time, but still we stand. Many grow skeptical at the prophecy of a coming Beast Power,or an Anti-Christ, or the “catching away” of the church, the Bride of Christ...They scoff. 3 “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” (2nd Peter3:3-7) What would be the impact if this prophecy were fulfilled in the near future? You would see chaos, pandemonium, lawlessness, looting, and all forms of murder and mayhem.The world would be in upheaval. The stock market would crash, if it hasn't already done so. Men would be desperate. Men would resort to “survival of the fittest”. The world would cry out for a savior, someone to deliver them from themselves. The Word of God tells us that when this all begins to happen, then, men's heart will fail them for fear, but to look up: 25 “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28And when these things BEGIN to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” (Luke 21:25-28) THE RISE OF THE ANTI-CHRIST The world we live in has been rocking to and fro from peace, to war, from economic upheaval to depression, but the timing has just not been right for the completion of therule of mankind on this earth. The rise of the Anti-Christ is close at hand...everything is in place...every resource needed in this modern world is crying for a leader to bring it all together. That leader will arise from obscurity when God's timing is right.Repeating the opening verses for emphasis: 3, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” (2nd Thessalonians 2:3-4) Some will say, “why are we looking for the arrival of the Anti-Christ”...with all the world conditions, it speaks of such a man coming upon the scene. We don't know whenthe coming of our Lord for His Bride at the rapture, as that has not or ever will be revealed to us. We know the season, and definitely we are in the season, but the only gauge we have to know where we are in prophecy, is to watch the political climate. Forif the Anti-Christ is close at hand, then the Lord Jesus removing His Bride (the Church) from this planet is even closer. That day is fast approaching. Make no mistake about it...When the timing is right in God's plan for mankind, then the Anti-Christ will be revealed...But first, one otherthing must take place: 51” Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Deathis swallowed up in victory. 55O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”(1 Corinthians 15:51-57) Then the timing will be right!! Don't be caught up in the cares of this world, as that time could overtake you and you will be thrown headlong into the most devastating period in the history of mankind,which can only be compared to “hell on earth”. What must you do? I implore you to make “your election and calling sure” by doing two simple things by believing the next two passages found in your bible: 16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:16-18) Knowing and believing this, then follow what the Apostle Paul wrote in the book of Romans: 8 “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:8-13) I beseech those who are reading this, if you have not accepted Jesus as your PERSONAL SAVIOR, then do it today, by believing in your heart that Jesus died for your sinson a Roman cross of torture shedding his blood for yours and my salvation and rose again on the third day and ascended to the right Hand of God the Father, and is coming again to remove all that have the Holy Spirit residing in them, SOON, possibly VERY SOON,the dead in Christ first, and then those of us who are alive to witness it as spoken of by Paul: “16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”(1 Thessalonians4:16-17) Don't put it off, as what I have written is on the cusp of fulfillment and the world will become your prison to die a horrific death in the prophesied “Tribulation and theGreat Tribulation” that is just over the horizon and just out of view. This led to a thought in my mind concerning what we are witnessing in real-timewhen it comes to what seems obvious to be a purging of Christians in the social order of the world. Though the beginning of this article is focused primarily on the United States, this same battle seems to be waging in many parts of the world. Below are some items of interest that we have been witnessing and what may verywell be the underlying reasoning behind what we are seeing in America and the rest of the world. MilitaryPurge of Christians As is well documented, conservatives are considered enemies of the state and domestic terrorists by the Biden Administration and their lackeys. The Department of Defense (DOD) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) have beenwaging a full-scale purging of conservatives within the military and society at large. Infact, concerned conservative parents are defined as domestic terrorists by their own government. All conservatives are not Christians, but all true Christians are conservatives. By denigrating and criminalizing conservative thought and behavior, “the powers that be” have effectively negated any societal influence ofthe believer in Christ. ChristianPurging from Politics and Society Religiousliberty is a threat to civil rights. This is the mantra of the Marxist Democrat and, progressively, the world at large. According to the world system, people who are pro-life, pro-traditional family, see only two biological sexes, and don’t want special privileges allotted to people based upon their sexual preference or identity (amongst ahost of other issues) need not apply to the private and public domains. Conservative Christians, according to them, are a threat to society and should have no seat at the table because of their “backward ways” – and they mean any table! Denialsof Religious Exemptions The examples are endless of denials of religious vaccine exemptions, which will inevitably render the Christian unemployable. Now, in America, theBiden Administration is compiling a database of religiousobjectors to the experimental vaccines. Though the Supreme Court of the United States ruled against the Administration’s mandates for businesses, the damage has been done. Not only will business, in general, continue their own mandates, but theBiden Administration immediately went about to urge businesses to continue to institute vaccine requirements. Thankfully, some companies have “paused” or signed off on the vaccine mandates, but many, I suspect, will not. Of course, now the mandates will be implemented by the states themselves, and I imagine the effect will be just about the same. We are already seeing states, cities, companies – and even the Americancitizenry – continue to push their draconian policies and mandates. TheAmerican Medical Association (AMA) is onboard with pushing employers to keep their mandates in place, as well. I anticipate more public and private agencies to continue to push this same narrative. How successful they all will be is yet to be determined. Communicationsfrom Alien Ascended Masters TheNew Age has prepared the world for the taking of Christians off of the earth through encounters with aliens, angels, and Ascended Masters communicating with men and women through a technique known as channeling. Of course,we know that these aliens and Ascended Masters are fallen angels masquerading as these entities, preparing the world for what is yet to come – namely, the taking away of Christians off of the earth. These entities claim that it will be the removal of those – namely, Christians – who are not ready to take the evolutionary jump that is required for mankind. It is these Christians who are in the way of this evolution ofmankind and will be taken either by aliens, the Ascended Masters themselves, or by the consciousness of the universe as it prepares for this evolutionary leap. Keep An Eye on Vaccine Passports All over Europe, we are seeing mass protests against the vaccine passports. As most of us suspect, these passports seem to be the vehicle in which, pre-Antichrist, the countries of the world will keep tabs on their citizens. How successful these protests will be is yet to be seen. But we can be assured that the globalist elites will push this agenda to the maximum to achieve their goals. And because this seems to be their goal, expect more pathogensto be in our future. China, the Olympics, and Globalist Goals With the China Winter Olympics upon us, one can’t help but wonder if another pathogen will be introduced to the world. What better place for a release of another microorganism as the athletes return to their homelands afterthe competition – and, if this were to be the case, China could always defer the blame on other countries for supposedly sending their infected athletes to the games. I’m not making any prediction, but this possibility did cross my mind. Gordon G. Change, for the Gatestone Institute International Policy Council, hadthis to say concerning China’s desire for world domination: The next disease from China could be a civilization-killer. China’s military is working on the next generation of pathogens, a new kind of biological warfare of “specific ethnic genetic attacks.” In other words, Chinese researchersare developing viruses, microbes, and germs that leave China’s people immune but kill everyone else. Personally, I believe that China is working hand-in-glove with the globalists to help usher in the New World Order, something that would have seemed absurd just a few decades ago. But with China’s working with United Statesscientists in gain-of-function research – with most of these scientists closely aligned and affiliated with the globalist elite – the Covid pandemic appears to have been much more than a chance happenstance of a leak from a lab. China’s role in the New World Order and her soon-coming allegiance to the Antichrist system – which they are, and have been, perfecting in their own country on their own citizens – I briefly discuss inDaniel 7: The Four Beasts of the End-Times. It will be very interesting to see what the globalist elites have up their sleeves and what they have planned that will be coming down the pike. If they are unsuccessful with worldwide Covid passports at this time, I don’treally see them looking for anything other than another pathogen to help accelerate the overall plan of mass surveillance and control. What they are attempting to do now – with relative success – doesn’t bode well for any deviation to the passports and the eventual progression to a system that will have total medical, economic/commerce, and mass populationsurveillance control. Is the Contraction Beginning to Subside? In my article Imminence,Signs, and Feasts – OhMy! I said the following: There is a very real indication that the church, in general, may experience a kind of “rapture fatigue” and/or will have become somewhat lethargic and apathetic when the rapture actually occurs. This makes sense when oneconsiders “birth pangs.” Right now, there are so many indicators of the soon-approaching Tribulation period that true rapture expectations are very high – this would be comparable to a woman’s contractions increasing in frequency and intensity. After a contraction,though, comes a short period of relief and rest; or in the case of the last days, a “sense” of relief and remission. People are funny. It doesn’t take long for us to forget and move on with our lives. This is why we must always be alert and sober, watching and waiting. So, when it comes to a slowing down and/or cancellation of many of these mandates in response to the protests against the passports across Europe – and the soon-coming midterm elections in the U.S. – and a collective responseto the pandemic becoming an endemic, this could result in an allusion to a respite from the birth pangs we have currently experienced and would seem like an opportune time for the church at large to begin to let her guard down. But for those of us who understand prophecy, this is exactly the conditions we should expect, and which Christ would have been alluding to when He said: “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh” (Matthew 24:44). Is the World Preparing for Our Departure? When taken all together, it sure seems the world is getting ready for the rapture of the church. With militaries devoid of as many Christians as possible, the armed forces of the world won’t feel the effect of the rapture as much had they not taken this action – most prominently, of course, within the United States. Had the governments of the world not taken the action of removing as many Christians as possible from their role in government institutions, the effect of the rapture of the church will have been, so they think, substantiallyeased. By denying as many religious exemptions as possible, thereby driving Christians from the workforce, the impact on the world economy would be blunted by the effects of the rapture of the church as well. Though the elite arein the process of destroying economies to “build back better” their desired system, they would rather it be done with as little push-back as possible, which would slow down their process with more chaos than they might desire. But no matter what they do and how much effort they put into softening the blow, their plans won’t work. “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape” (1 Thessalonians 5:3). While this sudden destruction may have already begun (“TheyShall Not Escape” Before the Rapture?), the intense ramifications won’t play out in earnest until the seal judgments immediately after the rapture (Revelation6: Our Marriage and The Gap). When you really stop and think about what’s been going on in today’s world – and the outright persecution of Christians from any role within the world system and the preparations of the purging of Christians as dictated bythe deceiving spirits to the New Age globalist elites – it sure does seem that the world is preparing for the departure of the church in the rapture! However, I believe that in these times, aswe see the Tribulation closing in like a tightening vice, all who earnestly watch the developments—including yours truly—can qualify in some sense under God’s definition of what constitutes a prophet. Since we are all commanded to “watch,” according to JesusHimself, believers have the command to be prophets in the sense of forth-telling. That is “forth-telling,” not “foretelling.” We are to observe the times—the issues and events—and compare them with Bible prophecy to see if there is prophetic relevance as wesee the fulfillment of Christ’s return approaching. We are then to tell others, warn them that the time of fulfillment is nearing. Jesus said: “And what I say unto one, I say unto all. Watch” (Mark 13:37). I say without apology that I believe the following Old Testament truth applies in some sense to each believer today who sincerely tries to discern these strange times. “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealed his secret unto his servants the prophets” (Amos 3: 7). The Lord, because He has given us His complete Word, the Bible, no longer gives the power to foretell. However, He expects us to be discerning enough through Bible study,prayer, and observation of the times to “forth tell” matters in order to forewarn. I believe we’re being given prophetic indicators as in no other times in modern history. For example, as we have “forth-told” many times, all of Israel’s Gog-Magog enemies listed in Ezekiel 38 and 39 are now gathered north of God’s chosen nation. The coalitionof Russia, Iran, Turkey, and others have coalesced. At some point those nations will, as God has said, rush in storm-like fashion toward Israel. We have “forth-told” this reality in order to forewarn of where this generation stands on God’s prophetic timeline. In the same sense, we have “forth-told” our prayerful, studied observations that the minions, both human and demonic, of Ephesians 6:12 are at work in these closing momentsof the age. Those “powers and principalities” are so obviously trying to bring Satan’s one-world regime into being that it cannot be missed by believers who are watching these developments. Again, I’m neither a prophet nor a son of a prophet (although my daddy was a pretty wise fellow). But I must be true to the commission I believe the Lord has given us asbelievers—to watch with prayerful study and observation developments on the prophetic horizon. This brings us to “Antichrist’s shadow.” The stage-setting is in every direction we look for the son of perdition to leap onto the end-times platform. Many control mechanisms have been carefully and methodicallyformed and put into position for the rise of the wicked one of 2 Thessalonians 2. Of course, he cannot appear as long as we, believers, are still on the planet. But, like in all prophetic matters, the long shadows of coming evil darkens these times. Antichrist’slong shadow precedes his coming to power once the Church, indwelt by the Holy Spirit, is called into the air in that glorious instant promised through the Apostle Paul. One of those long shadows we see each day as times get ever darker is the so-called pandemic. The lockdowns, the mandates, the insane rants and raves of those who want imprisonmentand even death to come to those who refuse the vaccination demands are red lights of warning. The “forth-telling” prophets—believers who want to alert others of the coming man of sin—are duty-bound to flash those red lights before a world going down the broadroad to destruction scheduled for the Tribulation. It is with this matter of desiring to forewarn further that I, like many, point to an interesting development on the geopolitical scene. Emmanuel Macron, president of France, is a fascinating character, as we consider these times so near the dénouement of this Age of Grace. His name means “God with us,” as many know. It was one of the names Bible prophets said Jesus, Himself, would be called centuries before He came to earth as a baby. Thisfact alone is sufficiently interesting to make a forth-telling believer focus intensely. This man who will soon assume the presidency of the European Union, as its France’s turn, is thought by some in his orbit to be a genius who always manages to get his way.His charm, they claim, can and does disarm his enemies with relative ease. His history, as given by some who apparently have made an in-depth study into his background, indicates a more esoteric pathway as he began his rise to power. One report gives the view that is less than flattering to the young, mercurial French leader. Psychiatrist Adriano Sagatori, who says he has studied the biography of the French president, described Mr. Macron as a psychopath who he said would not fight for the Frenchpeople. “Like all psychopaths, he believes in his higher purpose. Macron does not love France and will not fight for the French people,” [Sagatori said]. (“Emmanuel Macron labeled ‘psychopath who hates France’ in Russian media,” The Independent) My friend Matt Ward, who wrote an in-depth article on the French president, reported that information he gathered presented the following conclusion by the psychiatrist. Sagatori concludes, ominously, by summing up who he believes Macron really is clinically, in view of his psycho-social profile: “So we are confronted with three paradigmsthat define a certain type of personality; 1) the idea that there exist no limits; 2) a feeling of omnipotence from childhood, but even more so in adulthood; 3) a narcissism that can accurately be defined as malevolent.” (“Emmanuel Macron,” by Matt Ward, raptureready.com) All this to say that the coming Antichrist’s shadow is already forecasting truly evil times just ahead. Will Emmanuel Macron be that beast of Revelation 13? I don’t know. That wicked prince that shall come won’t be revealed this side of the Rapture. But looking at this mangives the believer who is a prayerful, studied observer reasonable latitude to conclude that, while we don’t know, we can’t say that we haven’t a clue. Pastors boldly encouraged theirflocks with the hope of Jesus’ imminent appearing. Unfortunately, much has changed during the past twenty-five years. The word “Rapture” has become taboo in most churches, even in many that claim to believe in the inspirationand inerrancy of Scripture. Last year, I listened to a former pastor of mine preach on 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. He avoided all references to Jesus’ return for His church and said nothing whatsoeverabout verse 17. He changed our biblical hope in Jesus’ imminent appearing to a far distant resurrection that does little, if anything, to encourage the saints during these perilous times I often ask myself this question, “Who are these scoffers who exert so much influence over what is taught regarding the Rapture?” For those who desire to present the truths of our “blessed hope” in a persuasive and cogent way, I am offering a guide, beginning with this post. You will not convince themockers of our hope, but this will enable you to help those willing to listen understand the firm scriptural basis for what you believe about the Rapture. The first step is to present the Rapture is a biblical event, which it surely is. SCRIPTURE CLEARLY DESCRIBES THE SEQUENCE OF EVENTS THAT WE REFER TO AS THE RAPTURE Scripture clearly outlines a series of events that we call the “Rapture.” Consider the following quote from Dr. Ed Hindson in his wonderful book, Future Glory: “If you disagree on the timing of the rapture, please don’t tell people, ‘There’s never going to be a rapture.’ No, there must be a rapture or the Bible is not true. Theremust be a time when the archangel shouts, when the trumpet sounds, and the dead in Christ are raised and the living are caught up (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). We may differ on the timing of the rapture but not the fact of the rapture.”[i] The best place to begin talking about the Rapture is how it’s presented on the pages of the Bible, as an actual future event. We can establish the Rapture as scripturally sound event irrespective of its relationship to the Tribulation period. As Dr. Hindson alludes to in the above quote, theremust be a time when the actions that Paul describes in 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 happen or God’s Word is not true: “For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. Forthe Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them inthe clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.” This is the same event that the apostle wrote about in Corinthians 15:50-53: “I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall notall sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, andthis mortal body must put on immortality.” Our biblical hope as New Testament saints consists of the following sequence of events all of which will happen very quickly, almost simultaneously: •Jesus appears; He descends from heaven (1 Thessalonians 4:16; 1 John 3:2-3; Colossians 1:4). •There’s a “cry of command” and the shout of the archangel (1 Thessalonians 4:16). •The “trumpet of God” sounds (1 Thessalonians 4:16). •Jesus raises the dead in Christ and joins them the souls that He brings with Him at His appearing (1 Thessalonians 4:14-16; 1 Corinthians 15:52). •Believers living at the time of Jesus’ appearing receive their immortal bodies (1 Thessalonians 4:17; 1 Corinthians 15:50-54; Philippians 3:20-21;Romans 8:23-25). •Jesus takes His bride, the church, to the place He’s prepared for them in His Father’s house (John 14:2-3, 17:24; Colossians 3:4). We appear withJesus in glory. There’s no greater comfort than this hope, as outlined above, as we journey through these perilous times. Paul told the Thessalonian saints to encourage each other withthese things (1 Thessalonians 4:18, 5:11). Is this not something we should be doing as the days grow darker in the shadow of the rapidly approaching Tribulation period? THE NEW TESTAMENT REPEATEDLY CONNECTS THE RAPTURE WITH THE GOSPEL In 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10, we learn that Paul’s initial proclamation of the Gospel in Thessalonica included the fact of Jesus’ appearing to take believers away from a futuretime of wrath upon the earth (aka the Rapture): “For they themselves report concerning us the kind of reception we had among you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait forhis Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.” Their conversion stories consisted not only of turning away from idols, but included that of waiting for Jesus’ appearing (as described in the previous section). Pay close attention to the words in Romans 8:23-25: “And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.” The event Paul alludes to is what we today call the Rapture; this is the time when we receive our immortal bodies (“the redemption of our bodies”), and the Lord completesour adoption into God’s forever family. Notice what the apostle says about our anticipation of this event, “For in this hope we were saved.” The Rapture is an essential aspect our hope, the future tense of the Gospel. For New Testament saints, the Rapture marks the time when we fully experience the eternal life that we inherited at the moment we first believed. Paul’s descriptions ofJesus’ appearing simply adds details to Jesus’ promise of eternal life for all those who would believe in Him. The Rapture is either mentioned or alluded to in these additional New Testament texts: Philippians 3:20-21, Colossians 3:4, 1 Corinthians 1:7, Titus 2:11-15, Hebrews 9:28,James 5:7-8, 1 Peter 1:3, 1 John 3:2-3, and Revelation 3:10-11a. The event we call the “Rapture” is the essence of our eternal hope; it’s the Gospel future. It was never an afterthought in the New Testament church as it has become today. JESUS REFERRED TO THE RAPTURE, TOO In John 14:1-3, as Jesus sought to comfort His disciples after telling them He was about the leave them, He referred to the event we know as the Rapture. “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to preparea place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.” The Greek word for “place” indicates that Jesus is preparing a physical residence for us in His Father’s house. And, Jesus promises to take us to that place. It’s not complicated;Jesus is coming for us to take us to the place He’s now preparing for us. Consider the words of Colossians 3:4, “When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.” When Jesus appears (aka the Rapture), we appear “in glory” with Him. We do not remain on the earth, but the Lord will catch us up just He promises us in 1 Thessalonians4:17 and take us to glory as He says He will do in John 14:2-3 and Colossians 3:4. Pastors, some will take issue with you and possibly leave your church at your mention of the Rapture. These scoffers, however, are those who do not accept something that’splainly taught in God’s Word. Please understand that it’s such people that cause division in your congregation (see Jude17-20; Proverbs 22:10), not you. People have called me a heretic and false teacher more times that I can remember. But remaining true to God’s word is what matters, not the opinion of others. And the Lordcontinues to bless my ministry in spite of the intense opposition and in spite of me as well. The first step is to discuss the Rapture as a biblical event that’s either described or referred to throughout the New Testament. Many insist that the Rapture happens when Jesus returnsto earth, especially those who falsely dismiss biblical references to the Tribulation as allegory and deny that a time of God�s wrath is coming to our world. You will not convince those who belong to this group of deniers that Rapture is unique, but for those who interpret prophetic texts in the Bible according to the intentof the author, you will be able to make a solid case for separating the Rapture from the Second Coming. The following points, which I have condensed from my book The Triumph of the Redeemed, demonstrate that we cannot combine the two events into one. 1. THE PLACE OF THE RESURRECTION IN THE SEQUENCE OF EVENTS In 1 Thessalonians 4:13�18, Paul states that the �dead in Christ will rise first.� We see this same order of events in 1 Corinthians 15:52; when Jesus comes for His church,He raises the �dead in Christ� first. The resurrection of New Testament saints occurs first in the rapid sequence of events in the biblical event that we call the Rapture. In Revelation 20:1�4, however, the resurrection of dead Tribulation saints occurs after Jesus� triumphal return to earth, His defeat of the vast armies gathered againstJerusalem, His destruction of the False Prophet and Antichrist, the imprisonment of Satan, and the setting up of numerous thrones for judgment. After all these time-consuming events, the Lord raises the dead Tribulation saints from the grave (Revelation 19:11�20:6). Do you see how the place of the resurrection in the order of events differs significantly during the Rapture versus the Second Coming? In the Rapture, Jesus raises the �deadin Christ� first, before He does anything else. With the Second Coming, the resurrection happens after a series of events; it may not even occur on the same day as Jesus� return to the earth. It�s impossible to merge the two events into one based on the placement of the resurrection of the dead saints in the sequence of events. 2. THE PARTICIPANTS Not only does the placement of the resurrection differ significantly between the Rapture and Second Coming, but so does the identification of its participants. John wrotethe following about the resurrection that occurs at Jesus� Second Coming: Those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on theirforeheads or their hands. (Revelation 20:4). This group represents martyrs from the Tribulation whom we refer to as the �Tribulation saints.� When Paul writes about the Rapture, he says that Jesus resurrects the �dead in Christ� (1 Thessalonians 4:16; 1 Corinthians 15:52). It�s clear that this applies to all NewTestament believers that have died rather than just the subset of the saints that John attributes to the resurrection that occurs after the Second Coming. The identity of the participants in the resurrections further distinguishes the Rapture from the Second Coming. 3. THE PLACE WHERE JESUS GATHERS THE SAINTS In 1 Thessalonians 4:17, Paul states that all living believers at the time of the Rapture will be �caught up�to meet the Lord in the air.� At His appearing, Jesus gathersus to Himself in the clouds and takes us back to the place He�s preparing for us in His Father�s house (see John 14:2�3). The passages describing the Second Coming don�t mention a meeting in the air. Jesus arrives amid much fanfare as He defeats the armies of the world in a climactic battle.It�s only after conquering the vast army arrayed against Jerusalem that He sends out His angels to gather both living believers and unbelievers for judgment at a location on the earth (Matthew 25:31�46). With the Second Coming, there�s no meeting in the air; everyone stays on the earth. With the Rapture, we will meet Jesus in the clouds. 4. THE DESTINATION OF BELIEVERS The accounts of Jesus� Second Coming in the Gospels and in the book of Revelation do not include a return to heaven. During Jesus� return to earth, the feet of those alivenever leave the ground. The account of the Second Coming in Revelation 19:11�20:4 doesn�t include a trip to heaven; everyone remains on the earth. Such is not the case according to the passages from God�s Word regarding the Rapture. In John 14:2�3, Jesus said: In my Father�s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will comeagain and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. The Greek word for �place� in John 14:2�3 denotes a physical residence. Jesus is preparing a special �place� for us in His �Father�s house.� And, why would He mention roomswithin His �Father�s house� in this context if He didn�t intend to take us there at His appearing? Consider the words of Paul in Colossians 3:4: When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. When Jesus appears, we �appear with him in glory�; we depart from this earth to be with Jesus and witness His glory. This is the Rapture! The Rapture and Second Coming cannot be the same event, because in one case the saints go to glory with Jesus and in the other instance, everyone remains earthbound. 5. THE TRANSFORMATION OF LIVING BELIEVERS In 1 Corinthians 15:51�54, Paul emphasizes the transformation of living believers that takes place at the moment Jesus appears to take us home. The Lord not only raisessaints from the dead with immortal bodies, but also gives imperishable bodies to those alive at the time. The apostle again highlights the aspect of our new bodies in Philippians 3:20�21, where He promises that when the Lord comes for us, He �will transformour lowly body to be like his glorious body.� This is the Rapture. The passages that describe the Second Coming do not contain any reference to the transformation of living believers. Although Jesus sends His angels to gather the elect,the text does not say that He gives them imperishable bodies. This only happens during the Rapture. 6. THE PRESENCE OF REBELLION DURING THE MILLENNIUM Since Jesus gives all believers�whether alive or dead�glorified, resurrected bodies at His appearing (Philippians 3:20�21; 1 Corinthians 15:51�55; Romans 8:23), combiningthe Rapture with the Second Coming would signify that no one would enter the millennial kingdom in natural bodies, which would make sin impossible during the thousand-year rule of Jesus, since everyone would possess glorified and imperishable bodies that arefree from the presence of sin. Such a premise, however, directly contradicts what the Old and New Testaments tell us about the Millennium. Zechariah 14:9�19 reveals that during Jesus� earthly reign, peoplewill have the capacity to disobey Him by refusing to go to Jerusalem to worship. Furthermore, why would Jesus need to rule over the nations �with a rod of iron� during the Millennium (Psalm 2:9) if everyone has a sinless and immortal body? Who wouldrebel at the end of Jesus� thousand-year reign (Revelation 20:7�10) if everyone enters the Millennium as a glorified saint incapable of sinning or reproducing? The Rapture must happen well before the Second Coming takes place to allow time for people to come to faith in the Savior and survive the Tribulation. The sin and rebellion that occur during the Millennium can only happen if people enter it with their natural bodies. This necessitates that a significant amount of timemust transpire between the Rapture and Second Coming. 7. THE DIFFERING EMPHASES The emphasis of the Second Coming is judgment. During Jesus� return to earth, He destroys the armies gathered against Him, throws the Antichrist and False Prophet into thelake of fire, locks up Satan for a thousand years, and gathers those who survive the Tribulation before His throne for judgment (Revelation 19:19�20:4). The message of the Rapture, however, is one of comfort and encouragement (1 Thessalonians 4:18, 5:11); it�s something that we can use to build up each other in the faithand this applies to today as much as in any previous time in church history. Our sudden departure from earth will signify judgment for the world, but for those of us in Christ, it constitutes our joyous anticipation and comforting hope. The uniqueness of the Rapture, as demonstrated by the above differences between it and the Second Coming, does not by itself confirm that the Rapture must happen beforethe Tribulation, but it does require that it must take place well before the Lord�s return to earth at the end of this time. Because the scoffers of our hope in Jesus� imminent appearing continue to bring up church history as their way of refuting the Rapture, I will discuss this matter in mynext post. My intent will be to give you a sure defense against such attacks and establish that early in the history of the church, theologians regarded Jesus� appearing for His church and the Second Coming as two separate events. Kamala Harris said, “We didn’t see Delta coming…. We didn’t see Omicron coming.” A few days after that, a reporter asked Biden, “How did you get it wrong?” Biden laughed and replied, “Nobody saw it coming. Nobody in the whole world. Who saw it coming?” •When the Biden administration stopped construction on the border wall between the U.S. and Mexico and started talking about giving immigrants freehealthcare, a free education, etc., they didn’t see an immigration crisis coming. •When the Biden administration stopped construction on the Keystone Pipeline and drilling for oil on some government land, etc., they didn’t see inflation,high gasoline prices, and high food prices coming. •When they quickly pulled America’s troops out of Afghanistan, U.S. citizens were abandoned, U.S. troops were killed, etc., but they didn’t see itcoming. •When Sen. Joe Manchin said he wouldn’t vote for Biden’s “Build Back Better” bill the way it was written, they didn’t see it coming. According to Bible prophecy, globalists will establish a godless world government and religion and empower Satan’s Antichrist to rule the world; this will trigger war, hyperinflation,an economic collapse, famine, pestilence, and kill multitudes. But they don’t believe the Bible, and they don’t see it coming. When the blind lead the blind, they will both fall in the ditch. Here are some recent events that seem to indicate that the Rapture and Tribulation Period will come soon, but the globalists don’t see that coming either. One, concerning the coming world government: on Jan. 19, 2022,it was reported that The World Government Summit will hold its eighth meeting on Mar. 29-30 in Dubai. The global elite will gather from all over the world to discuss the shaping of future governments. (Note:This writer believes the world will soon get Ten like-minded leaders that will rule over ten groups of nations that are patterned after an empowered EU. They are represented by ten toes of iron plus clay—iron plus others—not ten toes of iron on the statuein Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. The materials represent nations or groups of nations — not ideologies, political beliefs, types of government, etc.). Two, on Jan. 11, 2022, the Biden administration announced plansto give more than $300 million in aid to humanitarian groups to feed hungry Afghanis (people that are governed by the Taliban that killed U.S. troops that were withdrawing). Critics are saying the money will wind up in the hands of the Taliban, and the people won’t get it. The Biden administration blames every failure on someone else (they blame the immigration crisis on Trump, the high meat prices on the meat companies, the high gasolineprices on the oil companies, the Delta and Omicron failures on bad advice from the medical community, etc.). Perhaps, they should consider how their spending policies have impacted inflation. Three, concerning pestilence at the end of the age: on Jan.12, 2022, it was reported that health officials in the EU have warned that more than one Covid-19 booster shot per year can damage the patient’s immune system. Damaging the immune system of people all over the world could lead to the kind of global pestilence and death prophesied in the Bible. (More:On the same day, it was reported that a group of experts created by the World Health Organization (WHO) said, “repeated booster doses of the original vaccine composition is unlikely to be appropriate on sustainable.” As this writer understands the article,these WHO experts said repeated booster shots are a bad idea.) Four, concerning deceit: on Jan. 10, 2022, following many monthsof claiming that Pfizer’s vaccine is 100% effective for preventing Covid, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said, “Two doses of the vaccine offers very limited protection if any. 3 doses with a booster offer reasonable protection against hospitalization and deaths.Less protection against infection.” Bourla also said Pfizer has signed several agreements in the field of gene editing, a technology that Pfizer hopes to use in their Covid vaccine. (Note:On Jan. 13, 2022, it was reported that military medical teams will be deployed to 6 states to help hospitals that are overrun with Covid patients.) (Note:On Jan. 13, 2022, it was reported that some hospitals in southern California are so short-staffed they are asking Covid infected employees to stay on the job.) Five, on Jan. 14, 2022, it was reported that Pres. Nana Akufo-Addoof Ghana, Africa, went on national TV to tell Ghanaians about the Rockefeller plan: •To spread a virus, •Depopulate the earth, and •Destroy the global economy According to the article, Akufo-Addo told his people where they could find the proof of these things, how Fauci and Gates are involved, and he announced his intention toend all vaccinations. (Note:concerning these three things: it is interesting that the Bible predicts global pandemics, the death of multitudes, and a global economic collapse during the Tribulation Period.) Six, concerning the return of Israel at the end of the age:God said the barren land will be reforested (Isa. 60:13). Returning Jews have set out millions of trees, and on Jan. 13, 2022, it was reported that riots have broken out in Israel over a tree-planting program in the Negev desert. Bedouins are accusing the government of trying to seize land for a forest that belongs to them. To make this spat more serious, one Arab member of the Israeli government’s 61-member majority (61 are needed to prevent the collapse of the government) said he will stopvoting with the government until it stops planting trees on the land claimed by the Bedouins. Former Prime Min. Netanyahu is urging the government to keep planting trees and said he will vote with the government to keep it from collapsing over this issue. In a sense, this seems like a small issue, but the Word of God is being fulfilled, and it is impossible to prevent it from being fulfilled. Seven, concerning a rebuilt Temple early in the TribulationPeriod: on Jan. 16, 2022, the Israeli government approved a $35 million five-year plan to improve access to and increase the number of visitors to the Temple Mount Wailing Wall, and to help finance other existing development projects. (Note:Some readers might remember that in 2018 Israel completed construction and started the operation of 2 trains—called the King David Railroad because King David established Jerusalem as the capital of Israel—to take visitors from the Ben Gurion Railroad to Jerusalem.After that, they decided to build a train station near the Temple Mount and name it after Pres. Trump because he recognized Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel. Since the days of Jesus, the current generation is the only generation to see a re-establishedIsrael, a rebuilt Jerusalem, and a railroad to increase visitors to the Temple Mount, but unbelieving globalists and most preachers don’t see what (or Who) is coming). Eight, concerning an increase in lawlessness and the transformationof the U.S. into a globalist police state under the Antichrist: on Jan. 16, 2022, Hal Lindsey suggested that politicians could get U.S. citizens to go along with transforming the U.S. into a police state by stopping the prosecution of crime, releasing prisonersfrom jail, rewarding evil, and penalizing good. Lindsey believes (and this writer agrees) doing these things would prompt law-abiding citizens to demand more government control, and the government would respond by passinglaws to reduce our freedoms. It is no secret that some politicians are already refusing to prosecute some crimes, letting criminals keep their loot if they steal less than $1,000, leading efforts todefund the police, etc. Instead of demanding laws to take away our freedoms, citizens should remove corrupt officials from office for not doing their job. Here is more information on increased lawlessness right now: •On Jan. 13, 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Biden’s mandate requiring companies with more than 100 employees to force their employees tobe vaccinated is illegal. Despite the Court saying it is illegal, Biden urged companies to mandate vaccinations anyway. The Pres. of the U.S. is urging lawlessness. •There appears to be lots of evidence that the 2020 election was stolen; dead people and illegal aliens voted in some places, more people voted insome places than were registered, ballots seemed to be photocopied, etc., and it is being charged that the Democrats want to legalize these and other questionable practices in Biden’s “Build Back Better” bill. Ken Blackwell, Chair of the Center for ElectionIntegrity, has labeled the Democrat’s so-called “Freedom to Vote Act” the “Freedom to Cheat Act.” It appears to be an effort by a major political party in the U.S. to increase cheating and let the cheaters get away with it. •On Jan. 14, 2022, it was reported that thieves in Los Angeles, Cal. are robbing trains and breaking into 90 cargo containers every day. Railroaddetectives catch many of the thieves and turn them over to the LA police. Most of the thieves do not get prosecuted and are released within 24 hours. Nine, concerning famine: it is not hard to find reports of shortagesat grocery stores, soaring grocery prices, soaring trucking costs (fuel, etc.), shortages of fertilizer for farming, soaring prices of fertilizer that is needed to increase crop production, etc. Finally, are you Rapture Ready? If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3).  God’s Egress System – Terry James - https://www.raptureready.com/category/nearing-midnight/ Harkening back fifty plus years ago to my time in the United States Air Force, memories of the jet fighter trainers we were responsible for maintaining further stimulatesthoughts on Bible prophecy. The words of Dr. J. Vernon McGee come to the forefront of that time a half-century ago. Dr. McGee once commented in answer to the naysayers about him being an “escapist” in regard to his pre-Trib view of Bible prophecy. He answered the detractors in his typicallysouthern, cornpone, yet brilliantly humorous way. The arguments of those who poo-pooed the Pre-Trib Rapture usually went something like this. “Those who preach that that Christians will somehow avoid being part of the Tribulation are pie-in-the-sky escapists. They are preaching and teaching false doctrine. Theyjust hope to escape that terrible seven years of God’s judgment and wrath.” Dr. McGee would say something like: “You better believe I hope to escape that time of God’s judgment and wrath. If the house is on fire, I’ll go out the door, through thewindow, or up the chimney. I’ll leave that burning building however I can.” Then McGee would usually add: “That’s who Jesus Christ is. He is the blessed hope. And He is my way of escape from that coming time.” “Boy howdy!” as ol’ Dr. McGee might say, were he here instead of with the Lord in Heaven. “Are we ever in a house on fire today!” As we’ve covered time after time, every which direction we look we see signals that indicate, like the title of a Billy Graham book once read, in a World Aflame! Societally and culturally, the landscape is so debauched that nothing short of a miracle can bring things back into a normal pattern of life with morality at its center.The Antichrist spirit has brought about a turning of humanity’s back on God. The result is the reprobate mind of Romans 1:28 for the majority across the world. Consider the gravity of the sexual revolution of the 1960s that has pulled human sexuality ever downward into some sort of insane-asylum configuration. Men can now be womenand women can be men. Boys and girls are taught they can be whichever gender they decide, leaving the parents out of any decision-making. Sodom and Gomorrah-level homosexuality and other depravity is not only accepted, but embraced and championed by governmentalleaders and mainstream media. Even worse, a large portion of so-called Christian clergy declare it all to come under God’s love, with no condemnation. The Bible is old-fashioned, out of tune with the times, and should be rewritten to be inclusive of all thesenew ways of sexuality and human behavior. Governmental and political lies reside at the heart of everything from legislation to judicial decision-making. Deceivers are on the scene as never before, just as Jesusforewarned for the end of the age while sitting atop the Mount of Olives answering his disciples’ questions about when the end would come. All nations mentioned in Bible prophecy for the wrap-up of human history seem at play at this very moment. Russia is about to assault Ukraine; Iran threatens Israel withutter destruction; and the Europeans are in turmoil, becoming lockdown states as the likes of Emmanuel Macron of France becomes more dictatorial by the day. China is on a tear, threatening all within its sphere of hegemony and promising to bring Taiwan backinto its orb, even if it takes kinetic war. Pope Francis embraces the dark side at every turn. He fires from the Catholic government longtime clerics who don’t go along with his rewriting of the Scriptures to includehomosexuality in biblical approval. It is indeed a World Aflame! So, this brings me back to ol’ Dr. McGee and my time in the US Air Force all of those decades ago. Just as McGee said he would go out the door, through the windows, or up the chimney to escape a burning house, so pilots of those high-performance jet trainers we workedon wanted to escape sure death if necessary. All jet fighters have an egress system. This is that means of escape. The seats in which the pilots sit and in which they, with their parachutes, are strapped tightly, havewhat was called in my day t-handles. As I recall, there was a metal handle that the pilot could grip on each side of the seat so it was easy to pull if necessary. The t-handles were painted bright yellow in the T-38 trainer, as I remember. The pilot could pull straight up on the t-handles. When that happened, the canopy was supposedto pop loose and the wind would take it away. Instantly, a small but powerful rocket ejected the pilot high above the doomed aircraft. At least this is how it was supposed to work. There were times when the canopy wouldn’t pop loose and be carried away bythe wind stream. The top of the seat above the pilot’s helmet-covered head had a canopy piercer. It was a piece of metal shaped kind of like an axe blade. If the canopy didn’t deploy, the canopy piercer would crash through the canopy bubble when the rocketfired. As I say, there were cases when the whole egress system didn’t work properly. These sometimes ended with the pilot being caught up in the destruction of the plane. All this is to say that we are on a planet about to crash, and, like ol’ Dr. McGee, any sane person would want a way to escape any such holocaust that Bible prophecy foretells. I’ve given the commentary the title “God’s Egress System” because that’s exactly who His Son, Jesus Christ, is. He is the “blessed hope”—the Savior of the world that isaflame. He came to seek and save the lost—all who are headed down into flames if not ejected into the air when Christ calls all born-again believers to Himself. The crash into judgment and wrath could happen at any moment. This world is aflame with all of the things we have looked at as indicators of the end times. God’s escapeis available for all who will grip that blessed hope—the t-handle of God’s egress system. Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity,and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.  Overweightand Undernourished By Hal Lindsey A nutritional paradox fills our world. Vast numbers of people are obese and malnourished at the same time. It has to do with the kinds of food most readily available. Many of those foods have lots of calories, but not muchnutritional value. Experts give many reasons for the problem as well as some possible answers. A 2019 NPR article suggested that governments should provide more funding for “women farmers to create value-added products.” Apparently, they don’tbelieve male farmers have the gift of raising nutritionally rich foods. When God presented this problem to the Children of Israel, He gave them a different solution. He said, “Consider your ways!” Cyrus the Great allowed almost 50,000 Judeans to return to Jerusalem from their Babylonian captivity. They began rebuilding the temple, but for a variety of reasons, halted the work. Over time, they became complacent andleft the job unfinished. Then God raised up the prophet Haggai to bring an end to Israel’s complacency toward Him and His temple. Haggai 1:5-7 (NKJV) says, “Now therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Consider your ways! You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clotheyourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, Earns wages to put into a bag with holes.’ Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Consider your ways!’” The New Living Translation of verse 6 says, “You eat but are not satisfied. You drink but are still thirsty.” In America and in much of the world today, this describes hundreds of millions of people. They eat and eat, yet they don’t feel satisfied. Why? Because their bodies are not receiving the nutrition they need. So, they eatsome more, but still feel hungry because their bodies are still starving for needed nutrients. So, they eat some more. It also works on a mental level. Americans spend vast amounts of time consuming information and entertainment in front of their phones, computers, and television screens. On average, they spend more time watching their screensthan they do sleeping. But they’re still hungry for more. They’re fat with facts, but sense that something crucial is still missing. “The Lord of hosts says, ‘Consider your ways!’” And what are our ways? Like those ancient citizens of Israel, our people have become obsessed with comfort and entertainment. For them, the temple represented their responsibilities to God and His purposes. But instead offocusing on those responsibilities, they chose to have fun, relax, and work only toward building personal wealth. Through Haggai, God pointed out a primary truth. Putting ourselves first is like eating bags of sugar. It will make us fat, but it won’t satisfy. This is not about constructing church buildings. It’s about putting God first in our lives, as individuals, as families, and as a nation. He was out among the wild animals, and angels took care of him. —Mark 1:12–13 https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/a-job-to-do/- Listen The word Trinity isn’t in the Bible, but the Trinity is. And I don’t know of a clearer passage in Scripture than this one, which shows us the Trinity in action: “As Jesus came up out of the water, he saw the heavens splittingapart and the Holy Spirit descending on him like a dove. And a voice from heaven said, ‘You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy’” (Mark 1:20–11 NLT). Here we have Jesus, the Son, being baptized. We have the Holy Spirit coming upon Him like a dove. And we have the voice of the Father saying, “You are my dearly loved Son,and you bring me great joy.” But after the dove came the Devil. After the blessing came the trial, because immediately Jesus went into the wilderness to face Satan. Mark tells us, “The Spirit then compelledJesus to go into the wilderness, where he was tempted by Satan for forty days” (verses 12–13 NLT). While Mark doesn’t give us a full account of Christ’s temptation like Matthew and Luke do, this suggests that Jesus didn’t want to go. But it was something urgent that theHoly Spirit was doing here, because Jesus had to go through this. There was no time to bask in the glory of God. It was straight to work. Jesus had a job to do. But it also shows us something very important. Often trials or testing or temptations come after moments of great blessing. We all know what it’s like to be tempted. We’ve all felt the presence of temptation, haven’t we? Satan is real, and temptation is real as well. So where is the best place to be when we’re being tempted? One thing is sure, and that is only the Pre-Tribulation view works without spiritualizing some portion(s) of Christ’s return for His bride, the Church. Now I would like to list some of the other points that indicate the Church is not in the Tribulation (in no particular order). WHO WOULD POPULATE THE MILLENNIUM? If the Church is not snatched away (raptured) by Jesus before the Tribulation, there will be no one to populate the Millennium that follows the Tribulation period, becausethere would be no Tribulation saints. Everyone saved during the Church age and during the time of Tribulation would have a heavenly body and be with Christ as His bride … if that were true. When Jesus takes His Church (bride) out of this world to Heaven (Rapture), we (the Church) will all be changed. We will have spiritual bodies. We will be immortal and willnot marry. The Church would not be capable of populating the Millennium. Those saved during the Tribulation (Tribulation saints) and still living when Jesus returns with His Church at His second coming will populate the Millennium (Isaiah 65:20;Matthew 22:30; 1 Corinthians 15:22; 1 John 3:2). IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE When Jesus returns for His bride (the Church), it will happen in the twinkling of an eye (1 Corinthians 15:52). All those who have died in Christ since the inception ofthe Church will be raised first. Within the same “twinkling,” those of the true Church who are alive will immediately follow them in meeting Jesus in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). The world will not be at war, and only the true Church will see Him. To the contrary, when Jesus returns at His second coming, the world will be at war and every eye will see Him (Isaiah 63:1-3; Zechariah 12:9-10; Revelation 1:7; 16:16). A THIEF IN THE NIGHT When Jesus comes for His bride, the Church, there will be no warning. There are no signs to be observed to warn of this event. One second the Church is here, the next secondthe Church is gone (Matthew 24:42-44; 1 Thessalonians 5:4-6; Revelation 3:3). When Jesus comes at the end of the Tribulation (second coming), His arrival can be determined to the exact day (Daniel 9:24-27; 12:11-12; Revelation 11:2; 12:6, 14; 13:5). THE RAPTURE VS THE 2ND COMING Jesus comes in the Rapture to present His bride to the Father, as in the Jewish marriage customs (2 Corinthians 11:2; Revelation 19:6-9). He comes at the end of the Tribulation, His second coming (or advent) to execute judgment upon the earth and to set up His kingdom, the Millennium (Zechariah 14:3-4; Jude14-15; Revelation 19:11-21). CLOSING Again, there remain other points I have not listed that show the Church is not in the Tribulation. Hopefully, what I have mentioned will inspire some to search the Scripturesand come to their own conclusions. Even though I believe without a doubt that Jesus will come for His bride, the Church, before the Tribulation, the most important thing is: have you put your trust in JesusChrist to save you? I believe the Rapture is very close, but whether it is or is not, we have no guarantee of our next breath. “For God says, ‘At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.’ Indeed, the ‘right time’ is now. Today is the day of salvation'” (2 Corinthians6:2). There may not be any signs for the Rapture, and there are not, but the shadows of Tribulation signs are all around us. We are living in an age when the churches are nearly totally apostate. Very few who confess the name of Jesus are true followers. Regardless of the name over the door, theworld has come in like a flood and watered down the Truth of the true Gospel to the gospel of Satan. Families are being destroyed by liberal satanic viewpoints. I perceive the political world can get no worse, but then it does. Honorable sexuality that was created by Godour Creator for procreation has been brought down to such depths of disgust, it is inconceivable. Criminals are protected while the innocent suffer. Our lifestyle has changed so rapidly in just a few years, it boggles the mind. That would be admirable if we were improving, but alas, we have become corrupt beyond belief.We have this day fulfilled Isaiah’s words. “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Woe to those who are wisein their own eyes and clever in their own sight” (Isaiah 5:20-21). Most of the world will laugh and be enraged at the following words, but let us understand one thing: this is God’s world. He created it. He owns it and will run it any wayHe chooses. He is God. He doesn’t need our help, and He hasn’t asked for our opinion. He gave us His rule book to follow. It is called the Bible. We can accept it or not. The choice is ours. Folks don’t like to talk about it, but His judgment is on the way, and it is called the Tribulation. It will be seven years of hell on earth. Every person with a lick ofsense needs to fall on their knees before Jesus and call upon Him to save them. No one needs to go through this terrible time if they don’t want to. If the Tribulation would start tomorrow, all who come to Jesus today would be saved and would be in Heavenwith the Lord Jesus Christ. When you peer up into the night sky and realize how small we truly are in comparison to the vastness of the universe, thatshould be a very humbling thing. Unfortunately, humility is in very short supply in our day and time. Sadly, this is particularly true in our scientific community. Over the past two years, a pompous blowhard named Anthony Fauci has become the most famous scientistin the entire world, and even though he has been exposed as a total fraud he is more pompous than ever and he is still worshipped by millions. Unfortunately, he is far from alone. Because of what I do, I have to deal with pompous blowhards like Dr. Fauci allthe time. These “geniuses” think that they have everything figured out, but of course they don’t. None of us do. We are literally surrounded by unanswerable questions and great mysteries that have gone unsolved for thousands of years. Earlier today, I came across yet another great mystery that has me completely puzzled. According to NBC News, there is a “mysterious object” that is not too far from ourplanet that periodically sends radio signals in our direction at regular intervals… Astrophysicist Natasha Hurley-Walker was scanning radio signals across huge swaths of the cosmos in late 2020 when she and her colleagues stumbled on something they hadnever seen before. In a patch of sky that was monitored continuously over 24 hours, the scientists detected the appearance of a mysterious object that unleashed a giant burst of energy every20 minutes or so and then disappeared several hours later. To be more precise, it wasn’t “every 20 minutes” that radio signals were being sent toward us. It was actually “every 18.18 minutes”… To confirm the discovery, Hurley-Walker sifted through the Murchison Widefield Array’s extensive archives, which stretch back to 2013, to see whether the telescope had pickedup any other activity from the object. She found that it had switched on in the first part of 2018, emitting 71 flashes of radio signals from January to March of that year, before it switched off again. As she and her colleagues saw in their own observations,the pulses came at regular intervals. “It’s just every 18.18 minutes, like clockwork,” she said. That seems rather strange, doesn’t it? Needless to say, I don’t know what this object is. And neither does anyone else. But what we do know is that it is fairly close to us. In fact, Hurley-Walker says that it is “in our galactic backyard”… “This object was appearing and disappearing over a few hours during our observations,” said lead study author Natasha Hurley-Walker, an astrophysicist at the Curtin Universitynode of the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research, in a statement. “That was completely unexpected. It was kind of spooky for an astronomer because there’s nothing known in the sky that does that. And it’s really quite close to us — about4,000 light-years away. It’s in our galactic backyard.” Scientists have developed some “theories” about this object, but it is important to emphasize that these are just “theories”… Astronomers think it might be a remnant of a collapsed star, either a dense neutron star or a dead white dwarf star, with a strong magnetic field — or it could be somethingelse entirely. I really like it when scientists are humble enough not to promote their theories as “facts”, because that happens way too often. Just the other night, I was reading a book by a prominent author that did this over and over again. Throughout his book, he kept asserting that certain things were trueeven though I knew that what he was claiming was based on his own speculations. This sort of thing drives me nuts, but it has become very common. For example, in our public schools today there are all sorts of “theories” that are presented to our childrenas “facts” even though they are entirely unproven. And scientists continue to come up with more wild assertions that they try to pass off as facts. Just today, I came across an article that insisted that “the universe’s expansion could end surprisingly soon”. In another article, I was told that “the universe is disappearing”. Okay. But that one was topped by the article that attempted to convince me that the universe that we live in is probably “a simulation”. Whoever came up with that has probably been watching too many Matrix movies. I don’t have a problem with scientists coming up with crazy “theories” as long as they are very open about the fact that they are just “theories”. But when our scientists start believing their own nonsense and start foisting it upon the general public as something that they must believe, I have a real problem withthat. Ultimately, that sort of arrogance produces an environment where someone like Dr. Fauci can run around oppressing everyone like some sort of a deranged dictator. Most of the population trusted Fauci and his minions, and this has resulted in a tragedy of historic proportions. Science is supposed to be all about questioning things, but today we are being told that we should never question “the science”. Let me give you another example of how scientific arrogance can potentially pose a tremendous threat to humanity. It is being reported that the Large Hadron Collider has been given a “power boost” and will soon be booted up for the first time in three years… THE Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN near Geneva, Switzerland, will start running again after a three-year shutdown and delays due to the covid-19 pandemic. The particlecollider – known for its role in the discovery of the Higgs boson, which gives mass to all other fundamental particles – will return in 2022 with upgrades that give it a power boost. Thanks to this new “power boost”, scientists will now be able to make particles collide into one another “at higher energies than ever before”… Part of the upgrade work has been to increase the power of the injectors that supply highly accelerated particle beams to the collider. Prior to the last shutdown in 2018,protons could reach an energy of 6.5 teraelectronvolts, but the upgrades mean this can now be pushed to 6.8 teraelectronvolts. Rende Steerenberg at CERN says that these more powerful beams will cause collisions at higher energies than ever before, and other upgrades in the future will also allowmore particles to be collided at the same time. Does this sound like a really, really bad idea to anyone else out there? Because to me this sounds like the plot for a very bad science fiction movie. Just because we are able to do something does not mean that we should actually do it. What happened in Wuhan is a prime example of that principle. Humanity has reached a point where our scientific acumen has far surpassed our moral and ethical development. Scientists all over the world are “playing God”, and that definitely represents an existential threat to humanity. Unfortunately, there will be no turning back. Our scientists are just going to continue to push the envelope until one of them finally pushes things just a little bit toofar.
