ALL ABOUT JESUS - - -- PROPHECIES FULFILLED

11 Times the Old Testament Predicts Jesus' Birth and Death ClarenceL. Haynes Jr. One of the great realities of Scripture is the prophetic nature of the Bible. There are predictions made in Scripture that have already come true, and there are many that we are waiting to come true – for example the second coming of Jesus Christ. Yet, before he comes the second timehe had to come the first time. The prediction of Jesus' first coming was foretold all throughout the Old Testament. You might be wondering where does the Old Testament predict Jesus’ birth and death? I am glad you asked because we are going to look at some of these predictions. Old Testament Prophecies of Jesus Before we dive in and answer the question of where the Old Testament predicts Jesus’ birth and death, let’s take a moment to answer another question: How can you trust biblical prophecy? The answer is found in the very Scripture itself: “You may say to yourselves, ‘How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?’ If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously,so do not be alarmed” (Deuteronomy18:21-22). You can test the prophetic accuracy of Scripture by asking this one question: Did it come to pass? This is really the only way to know if something that is prophesied is true or not. Let’s consider some of these prophecies from the Old Testament. Let's look at 11 places where the Old Testament accurately predicts Jesus’ birth and death. In answering the question of where the Old Testament predict Jesus’ birth and death, I want to divide the listings into two categories. We will first start with thosepointing to his birth, and then those pointing to his death. Old Testament Predictions of Jesus' Birth 1. Genesis 3:15 “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” From the very beginning, right after Adam and Eve disobeyed God, he gave indication that a savior would be coming from the seed of the woman, Eve. God revealed right away that this seed would be the one that would crush the head of the serpent. We know thatseed pointed to Jesus. Moses is credited as the author of the book of Genesis. The time of his writing isn’t one hundred percent certain, but is estimated to be about 1500 years before Christ was born. 2. Genesis 12:3 “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” In this verse, God is making a promise to Abraham that he would make him into a great nation. As part of that promise he tells him that all people on earth will be blessed through you. This blessing of all mankind points to the one who would redeem peoplesfrom every tribe and tongue on the face of the earth. The blessing of salvation was for all who would believe. 3. Isaiah 7:14 “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.” This Scripture points to the manner in which he will born, and also to one of the names given to Christ: Immanuel, meaning God with us. This was pointing to both his human birth and his divine nature. This was written over 700 years before Christ was born. 4. Micah 5:2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.” We know Jesus was born in Bethlehem and this Scripture tells us in advance the place Jesus would be born. This prophecy was written by Micah approximately 800 years before Christ was born. 5. Hosea 11:1 “When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.” This prophecy was written by Hosea also approximately 800 years before Christ was born. This verse looks backward and forward. Remember the Israelites were slaves in Egypt when God brought them out. Also remember that Joseph and Mary fled to Egypt with thebaby Jesus to avoid the slaughter by Herod. This verse can apply to both of those situations. However, it was referred to by Matthew in his writings (Matthew2:14-15). Old Testament Predictions of Jesus' Death One place we can turn to that accurately predicts Christ’s death is Psalm 22. I will highlight a few verses from this Psalm. 6. Psalm 22:1 “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” 7. Psalm 22:7-8 “All who see me mock me; they hurl insults, shaking their heads. ‘He trusts in the Lord,’ they say, ‘let the Lord rescue him. Let him deliver him, since he delights in him.’” 8. Psalm22:16-18 “Dogs surround me, a pack of villains encircles me; they pierce my hands and my feet. All my bones are on display; people stare and gloat over me. They divide my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment.” This Psalm was written by David approximately 1000 years before Christ came. I just want to highlight within this Psalm the many references to the actual crucifixion of Christ. I will include the New Testament reference for each of these: •Jesus cried out “My God, my God why have you forsaken me?” (Matthew27:46, Mark 15:34) •They mocked and hurled insults shaking their heads at Jesus (Matthew27:39, Mark 15:29) •They shouted “He trusts in the Lord, let the Lord save him” (Matthew27:41-43) •They nailed him to a cross piercing his hand and feet (Matthew27:35) •They divided his clothes and cast lots for them (Matthew27:35, Mark 15:24, Luke 23:34) The accuracy and specific nature of David’s prophecy has caused some skeptics to believe it was written after the crucifixion had already taken place. But the evidence shows this was written about 1000 years before. If someone should ever ask you where theOld Testament predicts Jesus birth and death, this Psalm should be included in the conversation. Especially if you are talking about his death. Another great passage to turn to is Isaiah 53. The whole chapter refers to Christ, but I want to highlight a few verses. 9. Isaiah 53:5 “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” 10. Isaiah 53:7 “He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.” 11. Isaiah 53:9 “He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.” Again, when you read the scriptures, it is amazing how accurate and reliable Bible prophecies are. If you consider the test of the truth of prophecy, mentioned in Deuteronomy, then the Bible passes with flying colors. What Does All This Mean? As we have looked back to consider Old Testament prophecies, there is one thing I want you to take away from all this. The Bible can be trusted. It is the living active word of God and you can depend on what God has spoken in his word. What has been predictedhas either already come to pass or it will. It’s just a matter of time. I want to leave you with two truths about Scripture that Jesus stated about the word of God: “For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished” (Matthew5:18). everything is accomplished” (Matthew5:18). “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away” (Matthew24:35). When it is all said and done and every prophecy has been fulfilled, God’s word will still be standing. You can count on that. Further Reading WhatAre the Prophecies about Jesus? The Old Testament prophets went to great lengths to describe the Messiah’s life, death, and victorious resurrection. Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled these prophecies in such accurate detail a millennium later that there can be no doubt that He was that promisedMessiah. The Old Testament contains over 300 prophecies about a future Messiah,a savior anointed by God to deliver His people from oppression. The New Testament trumpets the fulfillment of those prophecies through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus Himself revealed that He was the promised Messiah (John4:25-26). Further, the gospels show how Jesus fulfilled the messianic prophecies and ultimately delivered humanity from the oppression of death through the promise of eternal salvation (John3:16). Below is a discussion of numerous messianic prophesies fulfilled by Jesus. What Are the Prophecies about the Messiah’s Birth? The Old Testament described the awaited Messiah’s birth in detail. In particular, the prophets foretold that the Savior would be born of a woman and would defeat Satan to redeem humanity for Satan’s deception of our First Parents (Genesis3:15). Further, the Savior would come from the line of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Genesis12:3; 17:19; Numbers 24:17), and the tribe of Judah (Genesis49:10). Scripture also revealed that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem (Micah5:2) to a virgin who would call Him Immanuel(Isaiah7:14). The Messiah would be an heir to King David’s throne and would reign for eternity (2Samuel 7:12-13). Jesus’ Birth Fulfils the Prophecies about the Messiah’s Birth Jesus of Nazareth redeemed the Fall of Adam as prophesied because Jesus was born of a woman and destroyed the Devil’s work by defeating death through His glorious Resurrection (1John 3:8). Jesus also fulfilled the prophecies about the Savior’s lineage, as He is a direct descendant of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the tribe of Judah (Matthew1:1-16). Moreover, as predicted, Jesus was born to a virgin in the town of Bethlehem (Luke1:27; 2:4-7). In addition, Jesus is an heir to King David’s throne through Christ’s earthly father Joseph (Matthew1:6-16), and as the King of Kings, Jesus’ reign will last forever (Luke1:33). Also, Jesus was indeed called Immanuel. The name Immanuel means “God with us” and perfectly describes Jesus’ nature as God made flesh to dwell among us (John1:1, 14). Notably, Isaiah declared that the Messiah would be called by many names in addition to Immanuel, such as: “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah9:6). What Are the Prophecies about the Messiah’s Early Life? The Old Testament revealed that the Messiah would spend time in Egypt during His youth and would then leave Egypt (Hosea11:1). The prophecies also foretold of a messenger in the wilderness who’d prepare the way for the Messiah so that the glory of God would be revealed (Isaiah40:3-5). Jesus’ Early Life Fulfils the Prophecies about the Messiah’s Early Life As prophesied, Jesus spent His early years in Egypt to escape the Massacre of the Innocents perpetrated by King Herod (Matthew2:13-15). Also as predicted, once Herod died, Jesus and His family left Egypt and settled in Nazareth (Matthew2:19-23). The foreshadowed messenger in the wilderness preparing the way for the Lord was John the Baptist, who prepared the Messiah’s way by preaching a message of baptism and repentance of sins (Matthew3:1-6). John the Baptist alluded to Jesus when he told his followers that he baptized with water but that there would be “one who is more powerful” who would baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire (Matthew3:11). John then baptized Jesus and a voice from heaven revealed that Jesus was God’s son (Matthew3:13-17). Matthew3:13-17). What Are the Prophecies about the Messiah’s Ministry? The messianic prophecies told us that Galilee would be chosen among the nations to see “a great light,” a male child born to remove the darkness (Isaiah9:1-6). The Messiah was foretold to preach about repentance (Isaiah30:15) and be a gentle redeemer who would uphold justice and heal the broken (Isaiah42:1-4; 61:1-2). The Savior would also speak in parables that would fall on deaf ears (Psalm78:2-4; Isaiah 6:9-10) and perform many miracles (Isaiah35:5-6). The prophecies further described the Deliverer as: A faithful priest who would do God’s will (1Samuel 2:35); a prophet selected from among the Israelites (Deuteronomy18:15); and a humble king who would ride atop a donkey toward welcoming crowds (Zechariah9:9). Despite this peaceful and healing description of the coming Messiah, the prophets also asserted that the Messiah would be rejected by His own people (Psalm69:8) but embraced by the Gentiles (Isaiah11:10). Last, prophecy warned that rulers would plot to kill the Messiah (Psalm31:13). Jesus’ Ministry Fulfils the Prophecies about the Messiah’s Ministry In fulfillment of Scripture, Jesus’ ministry began in Galilee, where Jesus was the “great light” that dispelled the darkness by preaching a life of repentance (Matthew4:12-17). Moreover, Jesus spoke in parables that confounded many (Matthew13:10-15, 34-35) and performed numerous miracles (Matthew11:2-5). Jesus also fulfilled the messianic prophecies by serving as: The faithful priest who atoned for the sins of others through His human death and divine resurrection (Hebrews2:17); the Jewish prophet who was rejected by His own people (Matthew13:54-58); and the humble king who entered Jerusalem atop a donkey and was welcomed by cheering crowds (Matthew21:1-9). Furthermore, the prophecy that everyone could be co-heirs of God’s Kingdom is confirmed by the diversity of Jesus’s followers (John12:18-21). Last, the revelation that Jesus would be scorned to the point of death was realized when the rulers of Israel plotted to have Him killed (Matthew27:1). What Are the Prophecies about the Messiah’s Betrayal? The prophets warned that someone who had broken bread with the Messiah (Psalm41:9) would betray Him for 30 pieces of silver, which would later be used to buy a potter’s field (Zechariah11:12-13). Upon His betrayal, the Messiah’s closest friends would flee from him (Psalm31:11). Jesus Was Betrayed in the Manner Prophesized As predicted, Jesus was betrayed by the Apostle Judas Iscariot for 30 pieces of silver (Matthew26:14-16; 47-50). That blood money was later used to buy a potter’s field (Matthew27:3-10). Also, after Judas’s betrayal, Jesus’ other disciples “deserted him and fled” (Mark14:50). What Are the Prophecies about the Messiah’s Death? Isaiah describes how the Messiah would remain silent in the face of false accusations and would be beaten, mocked, and spat upon (Isaiah53:7; Isaiah 50:6). The Savior would also be “pierced for our transgressions” so that by His wounds we’d be healed (Isaiah53:5). The prophet Daniel likewise revealed that the “Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing” (Daniel9:26). King David further detailed the Messiah’s death. The Psalmist presaged that the Messiah’s hands and feet would be pierced but His bones would not be broken (Psalm22:16-17; 34:20). The Savior would die among criminals (Isaiah53:9), and people would cast lots for His clothing (Psalm22:18). Also, onlookers would taunt the Anointed One by telling Him to ask the Lord He spoke of so often to rescue Him (Psalm22:8). Jesus Died in the Manner Prophesized Anyone familiar with Jesus’ Passion knows that He fulfilled the prophecies of the Messiah’s death down to the last agonizing detail. Specifically, Jesus remained silent in the face of false accusations, and was beaten, mocked, and spat upon before His crucifixion(Mark14:57-61; 15:16-20). Further, the Savior’s hands and feet were pierced by nails at His crucifixion, but his bones weren’t broken (Luke24:39-40; John 20:24-27; John 19:33-37). As foretold, two criminals were crucified beside Jesus (Mark15:27-28), and Roman soldiers cast lots for His garments (John19:23-24). Last, the prediction of unyielding scorn came to pass when onlookers taunted the Crucified Christ by saying that if He was the Chosen One, He should save Himself (Luke23:35). What Are the Prophecies about the Messiah’s Resurrection? King David foreshadowed the Messiah’s resurrection by proclaiming that God would not abandon the Messiah to the realm of the dead or let the Messiah’s body see decay (Psalm16:10). David also wrote that the Messiah would ascend to Heaven and sit at God’s right hand (Psalm110:1). Isaiah further divined that the Messiah’s death would serve as an ultimate offering for sin so that God’s people could be redeemed (Isaiah53:5-12). The Messiah’s agony would be rewarded, however, in that He’d conquer death in the end (Isaiah25:7-8) and “see the light of life and be satisfied” (Isaiah53:11). Jesus Was Resurrected in the Manner Prophesied As foretold, Jesus conquered death by gloriously rising from the dead (Matthew28:5-10). Jesus then appeared to many of His disciples (Matthew28:16-17) who later testified that the Messiah had risen, that His body was without decay, and that He had ascended into Heaven to sit at the right hand of God, as prophesied (Acts2:24-36). What Does This Mean? The Old Testament prophets went to great lengths to describe the Messiah’s life, death, and victorious resurrection. Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled these prophecies in such accurate detail a millennium later that there can be no doubt that He was that promisedMessiah. 5 Things Most of Us Misunderstand about Jesus Mark E. Moore After teaching the life of Christ at the collegiate level for more than two decades, I am continually struck by how little I know about Jesus of Nazareth. He is constantly above and beyond our expectations. Here are a few things that surprise many peopleabout him when viewed against the backdrop of our Western expectations. 1. Christ Is His Title, Not His Last Name Ok, so you likely already knew that. But did you know that the term Christ is not a claim to deity but an earthly political title roughly equivalent to King? That’s why Mark’s gospel opened by identifying Jesus as Christ (King) for the Jews and as the “sonof God” (Emperor) for the Romans. Jesus’s intention, as Messiah, was to be the new King David who would fulfill the regal role as God’s vassal on earth. That’s why his preaching hovered around the “kingdom of God.” We tend to think of Jesus as a religious figure, which he is, but he also saw himself as a political ruler. The main differenceis that his leadership was not limited to a single nation but included every tongue, tribe, and nation, and both the spiritual and earthly realms. 2. Jesus Is Lord, Not Just Savior Jesus didn’t come merely to save us from our sins but also to establish a kingdom over which he is sovereign. It seems to me that our emphasis on salvation by grace alone (which is correct) has made us hesitant to speak boldly about the claims of Christ over our morality, our money, and our relationships. Yet it is impossible to speak of Jesus merely as Savior without recognizing him as Lord. Hisimperatives are commands to be obeyed, not just suggestions we get to vote on. 3. Jesus was Not Pro-family Jesus prioritized children. He prioritized widows. He prioritized the poor and the outcast. But most of what he said about the nuclear family was not positive. For example, he expected to divide families: “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace tothe earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law—a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household’” (Matthew10:34–36 NIV). That was certainly true of his own family. At one point, they were so off-put by his companions that they came for an intervention. When they knocked at the door, Jesus rejected them with these words: “‘Who are my mother and my brothers?’ he asked. Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, ‘Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother’” (Mark3:33–35 NIV). Nonetheless, families who prioritize Jesus have stronger bonds and better relationships even though Jesus never prioritized biological families. 4. Jesus Did Not Welcome Outsiders Only once did Jesus go out of his way for a foreigner. It was a Samaritan woman (John4). There are others he was kind to or healed, such as the Syro-Phoenician woman with a demonized daughter, the centurion of Capernaum, and the Greeks in the Temple of Jerusalem. But they came to him, not he to them. Nevertheless, Jesus always intended to expand the kingdom of God on a global scale. His reworking of ethics made Christianity innately applicable to any culture or people group. For example, he proved that cleanness was more contagious than uncleanness bytouching a leper. By prioritizing the sick and sinners, he established a pattern of ignoring or deliberately breaking barriers. That’s why he declared all foods clean so that our tables would be open to all. And after his resurrection, his five great commissionsexplicitly stated his plan for outward expansion. One simply cannot claim to be a Christ-follower and be ethnically, economically, or culturally focused on one’s own experience and surroundings. 5. Jesus’s Cross Is Yours Most of the talk about a cross in the Gospels refers to Jesus’s cross. However, nearly 1/3 of the cross talk is about our cross. In fact, the two are inextricably intertwined. Here’s what Jesus said immediately after predicting his death for the first time: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it” Matthew 16:24–25 (NIV).Jesus’s death saved sinners from their sin; ours saves society from itself. Part of the current malaise of Christianity is our tendency to defeat our enemies rather than suffer for them. When we take up our cross and follow Jesus,we are more winsome and powerful in a hostile world. 51 Old Testament Prophecies Fulfilled In Jesus Christ DownloadWord Version DownloadPDF Version Prophecy Description Fulfillment 1. (2nd Thessalonians 2:8-12) 21 "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. 23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you before." (Matthew 24:21-25) As we enter the end of days, many people believe so many different religious beliefs, that its hard for the one who is seeking truth to find biblical reality, instead offinding perversions of that truth. Both my Lord Jesus and the Apostle Paul prophesied that in the end of days, that there would come a deception, a delusion so strong that men and women will believe a totallie. I've often contemplated and wondered, what could it be that will be shown to unrepentant men in the coming Tribulation that would be so convincing that most people would accept it without question? The question becomes, "how can the coming Beast Powerintroduce the Anti-Christ to the world and have near total compliance from the unrighteous masses that will inhabit the coming Tribulation?" I say total compliance, as it will be those who love unrighteousness and want to continue in their sins. Many in this world have no interest in the things of God, but thereare those who think they are following the Truth of God's Word, but are deceived by cunning charlatans who have nothing in their minds, but power control over the people. There will be many who won't buy what they are selling, as they have been on the fringesof Christianity, but never had made a commitment to Jesus Christ, much to their dismay. Those who have been taught all their lives a false religiousity have just been subjected to the complete chaos that is gripping their world. What am I talking about thatwill leave many people totally confused and distraught? The event that just now happened, right before their eyes is the catching away of the Church, and the resulting frightened masses that will want an answer to what just happened. The powers of governmentmust cause the unsuspecting masses of sheeple to follow their song and dance of the New World Order and follow the coming dictator known as the Anti-Christ. How will they do it? DURING THE COMING TRIBULATION What I'm about to discuss with you is so disturbing to me and should the average Christian, it will make you lean back in your chair, scratching your head. It will give,or should, the lateness of the hour and the urgency to reach your loved ones, your friends, or anybody that will listen to what may be coming upon the earth. If you are reading this, and what I'm about to discuss and even what is suggested becomes a matterof fact, then my friend, you will be ripe for a strong delusion without realizing what is being said is a big lie from the depths of hell. Let me begin by saying, technology has become so fast paced the world knowledge has increased at such an astounding speed, (doubling every few years), as God through Gabrieltold Daniel in chapter 12: "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." Daniel was told that knowledge would be increased in the last days in which the bible said an image would be set up in the temple in Jerusalem and would be an abominationthat causes desolation. WHAT IS THIS ABOMINATION? I have had many people ask me, or tell me, what is the abomination that the Bible speaks of. Many get it wrong. I had one fellow tell me is was the rejection of the Lawof God. I had to educate the man that it would be as it was in 167 BC when a Syrian king came into Israel, into Jerusalem and stopped the sacrifices in the Temple of God and set up a statue of Zeus with his face on it and demand worship. The man also had apig sacrificed on the altar and in the eyes of the people, a pig was blasphemy as it is considered unclean by any standards. Who was this man I speak of? It was his goal to Hellenize the people to Greek thinking and to do away with Jewish traditions and customs. His name was Antiochus Epiphanes and the desecration of the Temple kindled the Maccabean Revolt that expelled the invaders and began what is called "the days of Hanakkah" where the temple was cleansed, and the oil of the Menorah burned for 8 days by Divinewill as they were out of Holy Oil to burn in the lamps. In our time, this event will transpire once again, as our Lord Jesus plainly tells us. 15 "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be." (Matthew 24:15-21) This whole chapter sets dead aim at the Jewish people of modern day Israel. It was written for no other nation, as Jesus was a Jewish man speaking to other Jewish men andtelling them what would happen, but it was partially for their time and also another time in the far distant future that would have duality of prophecy, as the Abomination had only happened once and it was almost 200 years in their past of the above eventnoted and described. 13 "And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of thebeast should be killed. 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:" (Revelation 13:13-16) Many who read this passage come away puzzled and can't figure out how an image would conceivably be able to speak and demand worship of itself. I envision that this idolwill be as it was in 167 BC and have the face of the coming Anti-Christ on the idol and display it much as King Nebuchadnezzer displayed his golden image before the people and also demanded worship of it. We see technology growing by leaps and bounds to the point, as it was in the days of Noah, that nothing was not beyond being made that came into the imagination of mankind. This was a time of the "sons of God" or fallen angels mating with women and created hybrid offspring, we call now, the Nephilim. These all had supernatural knowledge of dark and evil manifestations that caused judgment to fall upon this earth. Today we have explored and created the same evil practices that were done in this Antediluvian time period before the flood. Mankind has explored crossing animal with humans, artificial intelligence of robotics that appear almost human and many scientific discoveries that were best left undiscovered, as God destroyed the earth once by water, and will again, by fire. Course, I'm not concerned with this coming to pass, as I fully believe the Church of the Living God will not be on this planet when all this comes to pass. I envision ahuge AI (Artificial Intelligence) idol being able to speak on command from those who control its functions....For myself, I am not concerned, but am for the millions to billions of people who will be totally deceived and will worship this image, not so muchbecause they believe it is a "god" but they wish to continue their lifestyle of wickedness and "what a little worship of some mechanical idol" a big deal anyway, (as long as I can live as I want, or as evil as I want). So will be the mindset of those in thiscoming time we have come to know as "Jacob's Trouble" or the coming Tribulation. 3 "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:" (2nd Thessalonians2:3-8) The Wicked shall be revealed, the Anti-Christ, ONLY after the church is removed, right along with the Holy Spirit, ("He who will let will let, until HE be taken out of theway"). Understand, that this message is primarily for the unbeliever that comes on the internet that is searching for a reason for the disappearance of hundreds of thousands of people, including their loved ones, and the rise of a powerful dictator that cameon the scene out of nowhere, known as the Anti-Christ who has control of the Beast Power, prophesied and fulfilled in this "lawless one". You may be confused. If you are not part of those who just want to live in their sinful ways, you may be scared out ofyour mind and you may have been introduced to something that does nothing but raise more questions than answers them. The coming idol that will be set up in the newly constructed third Temple in Jerusalem, is but one of the ways that the coming "lawless one" will attempt to deceive, rightalong with his right-hand man, the False Prophet. Then there was always the question before the internet age of how some of the prophecies of the end times would be carried out and be fulfilled. Let's take the scripturesthat speak of the two witnesses that preach the Gospel in the first part of the Tribulation found in Revelation, 3 "And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. 5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues,as often as they will. 7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified." (Revelation 11:3-8) Those born in our recent past history, say 100 years ago, could not fathom how the world would be able to see these two men who proclaimed the Gospel of God at the Temple, would be killed by the "beast who rises out of the bottomless pit, and would kill them and leave their bodies without the respect of a proper burial. They wondered how would they be seen worldwide and would finally see them raised from the dead after 3.5 days Of course, in our day and age, the answer is easy, as we live with it everyday. The invention of mass communication and satellite links that broadcast worldwide with newsin the moment it is happening, through the internet and satellite TV has happened in our time. What is happening on the other side of the planet can now be viewed by anybody a world away, LIVE! So that answers that question, but how will the statue that isset up in the Holy of Holies as an abomination toward God speak to the world who will follow the Anti-Christ? The words of this idol will be broadcast to the world via satellite TV. Not only will this idol speak and demand worship of the one whose face itdisplays, but I may have discovered how there is another way they will do it, or a possible solution. And what will be the strong delusions that make a person believe a lie, as spoken of in scripture? WHAT MAY BE COMING? As mentioned, this message is for those who are left behind, meaning those who miss the greatest event, apart from the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, in all thehistory of man. That being the coming of the Son of God, Jesus Christ, our Lord in the clouds to separate His church from the coming wrath that is about to overtake the earth. We, who are in the day light and not living in the night, will not be surprisedby the events that transpire before the Anti-Christ takes the stage. For as Paul wrote to the Thessalonians: 3 "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him." (1st Thessalonians 5:3-10) As we are discussing, evil men will attempt to explain the whole "missing millions" by hook or crook, and they will use modern technology to do it. Their only goal is tousher in a New World Order, headed by the risen Anti-Christ to power and for a time, promote a One World religion, with the Anti-Christ their sole object of worship. In the past, I have spoken of a possible explanation of an "alien invasion" that has removed hundreds of thousands of people who have suddenly disappeared from off the planet. No plausible explanation can be provided, but the globalist will try and leaders of the world will be searching for any talking point to calm the fears of the masses that know that something they cannot explain has just happened. I have dealt with the possibleexplanation of this alien invasion, as they will allow nothing to stand in their way of their concept of the coming "utopia" that this New Age religion and secular forces of this fallen world will push at you to convince you that those that "stood in the wayof the next level of human existence" have been removed. As Rahm Emanuel made famous by saying "Never let a crisis go to waste" I do believe, besides technology of AI and the false explanation of what happened to millions of people from all over the planet, they will attempt to "mesmerize" you withfalse prophecies that come "out of thin air". This new approach in addition to the possible explanation of an alien invasion is the world leaders need to get the people of the world to follow them and secure their loyaltyto follow this new world dictatorship comprised of ten regions or "Ten Horns" of Daniel's prophesy in chapter 7, and headed eventually by a one world dictator, the Anti-Christ. We must remember that the new age religion is the very foundation for the new worldgovernment, where without some kind of faith based religion, even a false religion the dictatorship of the new world order is completely impossible. That's why the next topic of this message is so important to the powers that be. THE BLUE BEAM PROJECT? I got an email message from one of the members of my online congregation that pointed me to something so outlandish and devilish, so diabolical that I was taken back whenI started to research what he sent me. The subject deals with a type of technology that has been or will be developed shortly. It will attempt to explain what has happened, and designed to deceive unrighteous men and those who have rejected Jesus Christ asMessiah, to believe a strong delusion that God will allow and cause them to become submissive to the worship of the coming Anti-Christ. They will even fake a rapture type event where people are swooshed away to a "never, never land"...all smoke and mirrorsso to speak. Let's begin by discussing a Canadian journalist by the name of Serge Monast that gave a speech and wrote about concerning a military project using NASA to wage war on othernations by using technology on the enemy that is nothing short of what we saw on the series "Star Trek"and many outer space movies of fantastic graphics and computer images...I believe the world has been being primed by everything "Outer Space" since the 1970'sfor what is being planned to overtake the world. This journalist warned that the military had the ability to cause confusion and wage war with high tech technology in any given population and this technology would be used to usher in the coming One World Governmentand its major religion, headed by what we call the "False Prophet". This began back in the 1980s and was projected to begin in 1983. The time was rescheduled for the 1990s, and the man who broke this story died suddenly of a supposed heartattack, when he had no cardiac history before his demise. Was somebody trying to shut him up? Circumstances of his death are a little suspicious. Now get ready for a summary of how this technology, according to Monast and those who further researched thisBlue Beam Project, how it would be used. Oh, there are a lot of scoffers and detractors that spoof this report, but in this day and age we live in of government improprieties, it's not beyond the realm of total possibility. The first step concerns the breakdown of all archeological knowledge. It deals with the setup with artificially created earthquakes at certain precise locations on the planetwhere, supposedly, new discoveries will finally explain to all people the error of all fundamental religious doctrines. These new "discoveries" will cast doubt on what people have believed in their different faiths and by using man made earthquakes ( can yousay HAARP?) that will open up selected areas for these discoveries that disprove religious doctrine. What could these "new discoveries" be? Could they have found evidence of the origins of the seeding of our planet by a "master race" from other planets? Willthey find evidence of space craft that have been buried for thousands of years? Lord only knows, but to cast doubt on every religions basic faith and beliefs would have to dismiss that the true God, or the god of their religion has been nothing but a sham,or complete misinterpretation of reality. Of course, I hypothesize, as I can only guess what highly technological device they will use. The second step is to produce what can only be likened to a manufactured space show. Remember all the 3-D movies you've gone to, and the computer images that were all tooreal? How convincing would it be if this delusion was projected on the atmosphere in a holographic image to introduce the deity of the culture, or those of different religions, in different regions of the world, ie. Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed, Krishna, etc andeach image speaking in the regions language, and through computers, make the people believe that their chosen "god" is speaking to them in their ears, and in their minds? The images reportedly will tell the people that they have misunderstood their religiousbooks and the very foundation of their beliefs. Thirdly, to go further in regard to the new technology which is at the base of the NASA Blue Beam Project, we have to consider this statement by psychologist James V. McConnellwhich was published in a 1970s issue of Psychology Today. He said, "The day has come when we can combine sensory deprivation with drug hypnosis and astute manipulation of reward and punishment to gain almost absolute control over an individual's behavior. It should then be possible to achieve a very rapid and highly effective type of positive brainwashing that would allow us to make dramatic changes in a person's behavior and personality." (Thewatcherfiles.com/bluebeam) The result of deliberately staged events will be to show the world this new "christ," or the new messiah for the immediate implementation into the new world religion. Enoughtruth will be foisted upon the unsuspecting to hook them into the lie. "Even the most learned will be deceived." And as the Bible clearly tells us: 10 "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." ( 2nd Thessalonians 2:10-12) Each of these fake "deities" will proclaim that the "messiah" is on earth and will broadcast his picture all over the planet in a holographic image, to every region, toevery tongue and nationality, and to every man and woman. A quote from a website called "The Watcher's Files" and they hypothesize: "Then the projections of Jesus, Mohammed, Buddah, Krishna, etc., will merge into one after correct explanations of the mysteries and revelations will have been disclosed. This one god will, in fact, be the Antichrist, who will explain that the various scriptures have been misunderstood and misinterpreted, and that the religions of old are responsible for turning brother against brother, and nation against nation, thereforeold religions must be abolished to make way for the new age new world religion, representing the one god the Antichrist they see before them." (the Watcherfiles.com) DOES SUCH TECHNOLOGY EVEN EXIST? As I said, the very idea that there is a technology that can confuse and deceive the masses of people, (let alone control them) which are left to endure the Tribulationis what may be in store for those who live out this dark time of man's depravity. Our government, or any government that could launch a program to explain the disappearance of people all over the planet and promote a "new god" called the Anti-Christ revealedin your Bible, (called the man of sin), makes the human mind reel. If this has happened, and you are reading this, I'm sure your mind is in much turmoil. You may have lost a loved one, a small child, a close friend, a wife, or a husband and frankly, you'rescared. I would be, too, if I was present after this strange sky show and people have gone missing. "New World Order planners can possibly "take over the world by projecting holographic images into the sky while beaming thoughts directly into our heads, telling us to acceptthe new 'god' of their design." [HAARP: The Ultimate Weapon Of The Conspiracy , by Jerry E. Smith, p. 15; New Age adherent] Let me confess one thing here and you may be feeling the same thing, I was a little skeptical concerning this new technology, but my skepticism took a huge hit when I discoveredthat indeed our military in the USAF and most likely other nations have the technology to do just what is described above...you may browse the websites to reach what the U.S. Air Force is using militarily on other nations for computer wars of the future, andwhat hit me the most, was they use holographic images to further their objectives in a war model to defeat the enemy. You who read this, will be the enemy they wish to control. USAF CENTER OF STRATEGY AND TECHNOLOGY. The military of the USA and that of the world are most advanced for warfare, but also can be used for just such a scenario noted above using holographic images and computergenerated speech that seems to come out of space. Now would our own government do such a thing? Of course they would as they are more than lawless, they are treasonous. Who knows who will come to power in the near future that will throw our Constitution underthe bus. They are already trying to do it as I type. Another website shows that technology is present to use optics to project such images on the clouds and even the blue sky. Anyone can do a Google search and explore what can be done with holographic images and the capabilities of nefarious governments and the elite promoting a new world orderby creating a new world religion. As I have spoken of this new world order needs as its foundation a world religion to base the takeover of the governments of the world into one. This project will focus the attention of the world population of the Tribulationto follow a "false religion" built on lies. Religion is the basis for any loyalty of a new government that will be put into place. The Anti-Christ will use the new "religion" headed by the false prophet to secure the loyalty and the compliance all who arealive during this time by joining all religions into one, then focusing those who are adherents to this bait and switch, to the Beast Power as shown in prophecy. It is all about total control and was presented in the past at the U.N. This is part of the comingAgenda 2030 and Sustainable Development that was promoted by none other than the Pope in Rome, as he pushes all his priest to promote the plan in all their masses, as reported in the news. 3 "So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthinessof her fornication: 5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth. 6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. 7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads andten horns. 8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose nameswere not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is." (Revelation 17:3-8) Fellow Christians, believers in Jesus Christ, the world is going to "hell" in a hand basket, literally and sooner than any of us even imagine. Jesus could literally soundthe trump of God and call with a loud voice, "come up hither" any moment from this time forward.13 "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.14 For if we believethat Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.16 Forthe Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meetthe Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words." (1st Thessalonians 4:13-18) In our Lord Jesus' own words in Matthew,44 "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh." Scoffers who read this will dismiss my call to come into the "Light" of Jesus Christ. But when you are living it, you may remember these words. The night is close at hand, when Satan will be loosed and his agent, the Anti-Christ will have full sway over every human being on this planet. It will cost you your eternal soul and spirit by complying. To oppose his agenda of total domination over all nations, will cost you your head, literally. The past ISIS rampage in the Middle East was just a warm up for what carnage will be performed during this 7 year of unspeakable horror and human suffering. But there is a remedy and a plan to save you from ever having to worry about the Tribulation:16"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3:16-18,) 8 "But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed." (Romans 10:8-11) If the events that I have briefly described have come to pass and reading this message after the fact, then you have missed the "snatching away" of the Church, and willhave to make an even harder choice, than the one you missed making in the past Age of Grace, or the Age of the Church. The Rapture has taken place and to coin a phrase, you "have been left behind" to face unspeakable pain and suffering. Either in the shortterm, with those who proclaim Jesus as Savior and endure to the end, will loose their life by the favorite form of execution, beheadings. Those who submit will have an even greater punishment as they are slain with the Sword of the Mouth of a returning JesusChrist and be cast into the Lake of Fire forever....an eternity with no end of suffering. 11" And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fiercenessand wrath of Almighty God." (Revelation 19:11-15) Call His name right now. He will save you when you ask Him in all humbleness and repenting of your sins. He will honor your prayer and become your best Friend, Savior andRedeemer. Do not neglect so great a salvation. "How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;" (Hebrews 2:3) ------------------------------------------- End-Time Timeline - Terry James - http://www.raptureready.com/2018/06/07/end-times-timeline-terry-james/ This generation stands upon the precipice of the wrap-up of human history. We can say this upon a platform of certainty. Our end-time stage is built upon a solid structureof knowledge. It provides strength of understanding from which no other generation of human beings could have spoken. The prophet Daniel predicted precisely this time on God's prophetic timeline, I am convinced: "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the timeof the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased" (Dan. 12:4). The Book Opened Those who studied Bible prophecy throughout the decades since the close of the second century did so in the dark, from the point of history not shedding much illuminationon how God's prophetic Word would unfold. The angel had told Daniel the prophet that this would be the case-that the book (the understanding of end things) would remained closed until the time of the very end was reached. Bible prophecy was then put on the back burner, for the most part, as far as any endeavors into understanding end-times matters was concerned. The Catholic Church in itsvarious manifestations, then the Reformation church derivatives of Martin Luther and the others, drifted far from the early church fathers' devotion to studying the part of the Scriptures that dealt with prophecy yet future. It was, in my view, intellectualand spiritual laziness, as much as luciferian influence, that caused this callous disregard for prophecy to infect the Body of Christ. Some would say that this must have been the way God wanted it. He must have desired for believers to not have understanding, so doused the light of understanding duringthis long period -longer even than the 400-plus year drought of prophetic activity just prior to Christ's first advent. That's one way of looking at the dearth of prophetic enlightenment during the almost 2,000 years since Christ's resurrection. However, Ibelieve the words of the angel to Daniel telling the old prophet to "shut up the book" was more akin to the Bible's telling about Abraham, David, and Solomon having multiple wives, and even concubines. God reported these things, but He did not cause them tohappen. Nor did God approve of these goings on. The Lord used reports of these sins to show His children down through the ages the folly, even deadly consequences, of disobeying their heavenly Father. The lessons of these sinful activities of even the greatestof the Bible heroes is that we are fallen, and without staying close to the Creator "our Father" we, too, can and will slip into egregious activities that push us away from God's loving, directing hand. This disobedience, He is telling us through such reportage, causes severe repercussions and ramifications. There is no better example of those repercussions and ramificationsthan what has happened since Abraham and Sarah decided to get ahead of God's will when Sarah sent her handmaid, Hagar, into her husband to produce an heir. And, this is where that disobedience and prophecy yet future converge and merge. The whole world facesthe consequences of that sin today in the hate-filled conflict between Arabs and Jews that is gushing humanity toward man's final conflagration - Armageddon. So, the angel's instruction to Daniel to "close up the book" (of understanding end-time things) wasGod's reporting, in my view, the deliberate intellectual and spiritual slothfulness - even callous disregard - that would clutch the minds of even God's best Bible students until the very end of days. God was reporting this dearth of His people being ableto ascertain end-time matters. God did not cause the book of understanding to be closed so they wouldn't comprehend. The vital, glorious thing to see is that now that book has, I'm convinced it is overwhelmingly obvious, been open, and each and every hour seems to bring increased understanding.Knowledge is indeed increasing, and at an exponential rate! Timeline Issues and Events Signals that we are in the end times are so ubiquitous, and at the same time proliferating at such a profound pace, that it is sometimes difficult even for those of us whowatch diligently to fully gather within our eschatological radar scopes all that is occurring. But Jesus, right after giving those signals that would be prevalent leading up to His second coming, concluded, as reported in the book of Mark: "And what I sayunto you I say unto all, Watch" (Mk. 13:37). It is therefore incumbent upon us "all Christians" to discern the signs of the times. We will look at them, trying to put them in the order given us by Jesus and the prophetsas they foretold these end-time things. Those who consider such things calculate that about 27 percent of God's Word is given to prophecy. Roughly half, those who figure these things believe, has been fulfilled. Therefore about 14 percent of Bible prophecyis yet to be fulfilled. Careful study of the historical record validates Bible prophets as 100 percent accurate, in considering prophecies already fulfilled. We can, through application of human rationale, therefore, think the rest of prophecy will likelybe fulfilled. Christians should trust, without reservation, that their Lord, the "Word" (John 1:1-2), will accomplish fulfillment of the remaining prophecies - those yet future. Those who read this article following the disappearance of millions of people, the rapture of all believers in Jesus Christ, are urged to examine the history of these matters. Those who read this post-rapture will have considerable, and quite recent, history to look to and consider whether God's Word is true, about end-times matters. As this is written, the world stands on God's prophetic timeline facing the apocalyptic storm in the distance while it approaches. If you are reading this following therapture, you are likely actually in the early stages of that prophesied storm of evil - the last seven years of human history that lead to the second coming of Jesus Christ to Planet Earth. There are no prophecies yet to be fulfilled before the rapture of Christ's Church. That is not to say prophecies yet future will NOT be fulfilled before the rapture, justthat none are given that MUST BE fulfilled before that stunning event. We will not address here all of the many geophysical and even societal and cultural "perilous times" signals we see all around us in this generation. We will look at specificmajor events scheduled to unfold. However, it is unavoidable to think of the birth-pang like convulsions of earthquakes, record hurricanes, and the upheavals of violence that seems to fill the whole earth, while thinking on the following. Israel: Prophecy Fulfilled Many of us who carefully study these matters believe that Israel's once again being a nation in its ancient homeland, and with its ancient language, Hebrew, is a fulfillmentof prophecy. I don't see how it can be otherwise. Israel has to be back in the land for the final prophecies to roll out as foretold. That nation is at the very heart of end-times things to come. The most profound prophecy in that regard is the fact that theMessiah - the returning Lord of Lords and King of Kings will set His throne atop Zion once He returns. That will be a dramatic topographically changed Mt. Moriah, with Christ's millennial temple set high above the city of Jerusalem. But, before that happens, Israel will have to endure the time of "Jacob's trouble" (Jer. 30:7). It will be the worst time ever in history for that people, according to Jesus, himself. As a matter of fact, His prophecy indicates the same degree of horror for the whole world at that time. He said: "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be" (Matt. 24:21).Zechariah the prophet foretold there would be an Israel and a Jerusalem during that period of tribulation. God spoke the following through His prophet: "And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves withit shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it" (Zech. 12:3). Israel today is already the center of attention, and of much scorn from its neighbors and the rest of the world. As I often say when interviewed, no matter which way thenews microphones and cameras turn to capture other stories, they always swing right back to Israel, Jerusalem, and the surrounding areas. That is because that region offers the greatest threat to spark thermonuclear conflagration. The Bible foretells thatit WILL host the most horrific conflict of human history - Armageddon! End-Times Order of Things To Come With that framework -that Israel is back in the land, which is surely a fulfilling of prophecy- let us look at where things unfold from here on God's end-Times timeline. Rapture - While the storm clouds of apocalypse gather and approach, Christians attuned to God's whole word should watch, according to the Lord Jesus Christ. They should be aware of the elements of that approaching storm of tribulation. Things of society, cultures, in every endeavor of life, will, at the same time, seem to be business as usual. Times will be like the days of Noah and Lot at the moment of His nextintervention into the affairs of humanity, according to Jesus. (Read Luke 17: 26-30.) It will be a catastrophic intervention. Jesus will step out on the clouds of glory and shout "Come up here!" (Rev. 4:1-2). All Christians - those who accept Christ's bloodatonement for salvation (born-again believers) will instantly be with Jesus above the earth. (Read 1 Cor. 15: 51-55 and 1 Thes. 4:13-18.) Millions of people (those raptured) will vanish, will disappear from the planet before the astonished eyes of those leftbehind. Those who have gone to be with the Lord will be taken back to heaven, where He has prepared a place of eternal dwelling for them (Jn. 14:1-3). The bema judgment (to give rewards for service to the Lord while on earth) will take place. Crowns will behanded out to God's family. The marriage supper of the Lamb will occur (Christ's Bride made ready for the wedding), then the Wedding Feast (Revelation 19:9). Things on Planet Earth will be gearing up for the great end-time storm. God, the Holy Spirit, accordingto 2 Thessalonians, chapter 2, will remove as restrainer during the times following the rapture. World Leader Comes Forth - The nations of earth will be in chaos. The turmoil will cause severe ramifications while governments seek to restore civil orderand regain governmental and economic equilibrium. Profound shifts of power will likely take place, with the EU becoming the new superpower, absorbing America's power and authority, the U.S. having lost the most people in key places, thus having suffered themost loss of control. According to prophecy, one man will step forward to proffer a plan to quell the fears of war in the Middle East (Daniel 9:27). This prophecy correlates to Revelation 6: 2, with the rider on the white horse riding forth. Peace Covenant Confirmed - The great world leader will arrive just in time to look to be the shining knight on the white horse. He will have the answerto the looming all-out war in the Middle East. He will be able to sell a seven-year peace plan that is already available, apparently. Israel will agree to the covenant, as will her enemies, and, in effect, the whole world will accept the European leader'smasterful sales pitch. But Israel's acceptance will fly in the face of God. This "covenant made with death and Hell," as it is called in Isaiah, chapter 28, will cause God's judgmental wrath to begin to fall. Attack upon Israel - The Gog-Magog attack prophesied by Ezekiel is one that is controversial, so far as to where it will fit into the end-times timelineis concerned. Some has the event just before or in conjunction with the rapture, while others believe it will happen right after the rapture or nearer the mid-point of the seven-year tribulation period. Russia is destined to present some of the most fearsometrials and tribulations for Israel. Gog, "chief prince of Rosh," is the leader of Russia described in Ezekiel 38 and 39. In ancient language, Gog means "leader." "Rosh" is the ancient name for the land of Russia. In the last days, Russia will be the leadingnation of the Gog-Magog coalition of nations that will make a move against Israel and be defeated by a supernatural act of God. Persia (Iran) comes right along beside Russia, in prophetic parlance. According to Ezekiel 38:5, Iran will aid Russia in attackingIsrael before or during the tribulation. Even now, Iran acts as a destabilizing force in the world. 144,000 Evangelists - The Lord will not allow the dark, satanic realm to go unchallenged. God will seal (protect from Satan and his minions) 144,000 Jewishmen with the gospel message of Jesus Christ, the only way to salvation, redemption, and reconciliation to God, the Father. (Read Rev. 7: 3-8.) These will proclaim the gospel message throughout the world. Millions upon millions of people will hear the messageand become Christians of the tribulation period. Two Old Testament-Type Prophets Preach - Two Jewish men will be placed during this period for preaching then Gospel, and for pointing the finger of judgmentif repentance isn't forthcoming. No one knows for sure who these men will be, but there seems good evidence that at least one of them will be Elijah, the Old Testament prophet whom God took up from earth in a fiery whirlwind. The Satanic governmental regimewill seek to kill these men, but will not be able to do so until God allows. Anyone who tries to kill them will, in like manner, be killed, according to the prophetic Word. Finally, the regime will be able to kill them. There dead bodies will lie in the streetsof Jerusalem for three days, then they will be resurrected to life, and will lift into the sky before the astonished eyes of their murderers and of the whole world. Antichrist Revealed - The great world leader , who confirmed the seven-year peace covenant, convincing Israel and its enemies to rely on him and his regimeto keep the peace, will be struck with a deadly head wound. But, he will resurrect, supposedly, from death. He will, following this, in what I believe will be a false resurrection (possibly following the defeat of the Gog-Magog forces), suddenly walk intothe Jewish temple atop Mt. Moriah at Jerusalem and declare himself to be God. He will demand worship from all of the world's inhabitants. (Read 2 Thes. Chapter 2 and Revelation, chapter 13.) He is then revealed as Antichrist, the son of perdition, the manof sin. He will cause all to accept his mark or be cut out of the economic system - all buying and selling. He will order all killed, who will not worship him. The chief method of death dealing will be beheading. His partner in the satanic duo will point allworship to the beast - Antichrist. The false prophet will be AntiChrist's John the Baptist figure. Jews Flee - Jesus forewarned the Jews who will occupy Jerusalem at the time of AntiChrist's revelation to flee to the mountains. (Read Matthew chapter 24,and Revelation, chapter 12.) This era, the mid-way point of the seven-year tribulation era, will begin the time of Jacob's trouble (Jer. 30: 7) - a time Jesus says will be the worst time of all history (Matt 24: 21). Antichrist will begin the greatest genocideever to be visited upon the planet. Antichrist Institutes Regime - AntiChrist's regime will cause all to give worship to the beast, the Revelation 13 term for Antichrist. He will apparentlyset up some sort of idol, before which all must bow. This will likely be done by the image of himself being telecast in some way to all the world. (Read Revelation chapter 13.) His regime will consist of 10 kingdoms, whose newly crowned kings (political leadersof the region) will give all of their authority and power to Antichrist. We might be seeing the formative months and years of the formation of this 10-kingdom development with the various trading blocs beginning to form. The European Union seems to be theprototype for those that will follow. The North American Union (NAU) that seems to be underway in development, bringing America, Canada, and Mexico together in an economic trading bloc, appears to be one such "kingdom" in the making. Antichrist will bringtogether one world government, one world economy, and one world religion, to some extent - for a brief time, at least. This is a Babylonian-type system that will all but enslave the entire world. Babylon System of Religion, Economy, Government Rules - The Babylonian system will actually be an extension of the revived Roman Empire. This was prophesiedin Daniel, chapters 2, 7, 9, and 11, as well as in Revelation, chapter 13. Ancient Babylon's and the ancient Roman Empire's influence upon this end-time regime of hell on earth are described in Revelation, chapters 17 and 18. God will completely destroy thechief city of the end time Babylon in one hour, the Bible prophesies in Revelation, chapter 18. Kings of East Threaten, then Move - China, today, is a growing economic and military behemoth. It exerts hegemony over its neighbors of the Orient. TheBible predicts a day during the tribulation when the "kings of the east" will march across the dried-up Euphrates River to do battle at Armageddon. This juggernaut will consist of 200 million troops, all, prophecy seems to indicate, demon possessed, while theycross the area of the Euphrates. (Read Revelation, Chapters 9 and 16.) All Meet at Armageddon - The kings of the east march toward a rendezvous with all other nations of the world. God says this about this meeting: "For, behold, in those days, and in thattime, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scatteredamong the nations, and parted my land" (Joel 3: 10-2). (Also, read Rev. 16:16, and Rev. 19: 17-18.) Christ Returns - Just as the battle is becoming so violent that it threatens the end of all people and animals on earth, the black clouds of apocalypseunroll like a scroll, and brilliant light from heaven's core breaks through, revealing the King of kings and His armies and myriads of angelic hosts. "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called TheWord of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeththe winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God" (Rev. 19:11-15). Christ Judges Nations - The conquering Creator of all things will establish His earthly throne atop Mt. Moriah, which will be supernaturally reconfiguredfrom topographical renovations made for the millennium. All the nations of the world will come before the Lord Jesus Christ. (Read about the sheep-goats judgment in Matthew, chapter 25.) Those people who have made it alive through the seven-year tribulationwill either be believers or unbelievers. Believers will be ushered into Christ's 1,000-year reign on earth, while unbelievers will be cast into everlasting darkness, the Scripture prophesies. Christ Sets Up Millennial Kingdom - The millennial reign of Christ will begin, a time during which the false prophet and the beast (Antichrist), the firstto be thrown into the lake of fire, will begin to serve their eternal sentences. Satan will be confined in the bottomless pit, and there will be none of his minions to torment and tempt the millennial earth-dwellers. It will be a time much like the times ofEden, with the earth restored to its pristine beauty. (Read Rev. 20-10.) After the 1,000 years, the devil will be released from the pit for a short space of time. He will lead millions of those who have been born during the millennium in an assault on Christat Jerusalem. God will send down fire and consume them all. Satan will be cast into the lake of fire. The lost dead will be resurrected (their eternal bodies joined to their souls), and all will stand before the great white throne of Christ to be judged. Allwill be cast into the lake of fire for eternity. (Read Rev. 20:10-15.) God "Jesus Christ" will remake the heavens and the earth in preparation for everlasting, ever-growing ecstasy in God's presence. (Read Rev. 20:16-22: 16.) --------------------------- VISIT: PROPHECY WATCHER WEEKLY NEWS: HTTP://PROPHECY-WATCHER-WEEKLY-NEWS.BLOGSPOT.COM
