BIDEN WATCH: 1.21.23 - World Economic Forum kicks off

World Economic Forum kicks off - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com One of the most dangerous movements against life, liberty and pursuit of happiness of the modern era is kicking off its meetings in Davos, Switzerland—The World Economic Forum. The WEF says, “Under the theme of ‘Cooperation in a Fragmented World’, we’ll look at how we can tackle the numerous and interlinked challenges the world is facing and find solutions through public-private cooperation.” Cooperation, in this sense, is tantamountto global tyranny. World leaders of business, government and nonprofit organizations are banding together to “cooperate” on an agenda that, while propagandized as high-minded ways to address the world’s most pressing problems, is akin to an end-time beastsystem. Target one for this year’s gathering of the globalist Marxist like-minded is the world economy. WEF introduces its session with, “The latest Chief Economists Outlook comesat a turbulent time for the global economy. This January’s edition of the survey comes at a time of significant economic headwinds and explores the prospects for growth, inflation, and monetary and fiscal policy. It also looks at challenges businesses willlikely face in the coming months and their potential responses.” All this is real pleasant talk for a central plan to redistribute wealth in the name of equity and fairness. The idea is to get all the economies on the same page so that resources, both financialand natural, can be controlled. One of the ways to control societies is by converting every energy use to electricity. That seems to be the battle cry of this monolith of cooperation. The WEF website sayselectricity is the “backbone of an integrated energy system.” WEF further states, “The electricity system is likely to form the backbone of the energy systems of the future. A new framework, Electricity+, highlights the opportunities to create and optimizeintegrations between the electricity sector and other infrastructure to enable a transition to a net-zero economy.” Ever wonder where the Biden Administration gets its marching orders on eliminating gas, gasoline, diesel, and coal at the expense of each ofus? Look at the WEF. It’s a “cooperation.” These “intelligent” champions of government, charity and industry are being led along in the name of making “democracy” more fair. In reality, this is all about wealth redistributionand population control. They don’t tell you that electric is created mostly by fossil fuels and that infrastructures in the most developed nations cannot even handle the demand. But they are demanding everything be converted to electric. That way there isa switch that can turn off your energy source if you do not meet their ideas of being a good citizen measured by social credits. Same could be the case with food. Revelation 13:17 speaks of the antichrist/beast “that no man might buy or sell, save he thathad the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” While the WEF is not the beast of Revelation, it may certainly be laying the groundwork for him. ---------------------------- Gaslighting & Gas Stoves: Start With Outrageous, Progress on the Ridiculous By David Fiorazo - https://harbingersdaily.com/gaslighting-gas-stoves-start-with-outrageous-progress-on-the-ridiculous/ As you may know, Democrat darling, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has become notorious for modeling hypocrisy. She recently took to Twitter to suggest people ditch their gas stoves.Stoves just like the one she owns. The Biden administration had been considering banning gas stoves over alleged health concerns and many progressives jumped on board. The one-party media says this is a non-issue,that Republicans are just trying to create a new culture war. And that, my friend, is what they are so good at: gaslighting. But the good news is most Americans dont seem to be buying what the left is pedaling. Many realize proposed restrictions on natural-gas stoves are simply climate policy byanother name. Radicals these days can claim practically anything and justify it because its bad for the earth and unhealthy for humanity, of course. After all, Democrat socialists and Marxists often proclaim that climate change is an existential threat to the world. But, gas stoves? I have a theory. They know its far reaching. The left is being outrageous on purpose so the next radical idea they push receives less resistance because its not quite asridiculous. This is a tactic theyve used again and again to wear people down and gain ground. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is considering stopping production of new gas appliances and encouraging people to discontinue using them. And naturally, itsall under the guise of saving the environment. But over 40% of homes have gas stoves. To force change, the commission could set standards on emissions from stoves, or even look to ban gas stove importing or manufacturing. Theyve deceptively taken it up a notchas they try selling this issue as a threat to both climate and health. AOC tweeted: Did you know that ongoing exposure to NO2 from gas stoves is linked to reduced cognitive performance? She should know. Shes likely used a gas stove all her life. Ocasio-Cortez immediately endorsed the wild idea of doing away with gas stoves after a Bloomberg News reportedthat a ban was on the table. Then, as the left often does, the Safety Commission quickly backtracked after the report came out and they were accused of pushing a nanny state. They assured Americans thatif you like your gas stoves, you could keep it. They sheepishly suggested a gas-stove-ban was not really being considered, though the commission still plans to hold a public comment period on the alleged dangers. Senator Cory Booker wrote a letter to the agency last month calling the harmful gas-stove emissions a cumulative burden on minorities. You read that right. New Yorks Democrat governor Kathy Hochul gave an address Tuesday and announced a plan to eliminate gas heating and appliances from all construction projects by 2030. Anotherradical, Richard Trumka Jr. said gas stoves were creating a hidden hazard. AOC even told New Yorkers to watch for future tax credits/rebates for gas-free appliances. She said last years Inflation Reduction Act contains funding for a lot of differentclimate related rebates for people. These people have apparently thought this through and hatched a game plan. But why havent we heard about the importance of better ventilation, for example, to improve any potential negative health effects of indoor stoves? That would be common sense. Karen Harbert, president of the American Gas Association argued against a ban: The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and EPA do not present gas ranges as a significant contributor to adverse air quality or health hazard in their technical or publicinformation literature, guidance, or requirements, To the power-grabbing, money-grubbing left crying environmental disaster, if its not coal or cows or cars, its gas stoves or something else they can blame to grind downthe people. Fear-monger, legislate, regulate, control. The strategy of the left is to start with something absolutely outrageous, even demanding the impossible. Then down the road, they suggest something just a little less ridiculousand since it doesnt seem as outlandish, theres a bit more openness to an idea. You may have seen the photos on line of AOC, Elizabeth Warren, doctor Jill Biden, and Kamala Harris in their kitchens all of them having gas stoves! This reminds me of the billion-dollar debacle from ten years ago when the left was all about green energy. Hillary Clinton, Barrack Obama, Joe Biden, and many other progressivesdidnt have solar panels on their homes, but pushed it on the rest of us. They were all-in on the $535 million loan given to solar energy company, Solyndra courtesy of American taxpayers. But the solar panels failed. Solyndra and other Democrat-endorsedcompanies went bankrupt. I reported on the Obama/Biden green energy failures and the fact the liberal media looks the other way rather than hold Democrats accountable. After the massive waste of taxpayer money, while campaigning for reelection in 2012, Obama and Biden told people that if they were to win a second term, their administrationwould continue investing taxpayer dollars on green energy projects. They even went on record admitting some of the businesses we encourage with government loans will fail like Solyndra. Nothing to see here, move along. So today, the agenda hasnt changed and they move on to the next thing. Ben Lieberman at National Review writes: When explained plainly, Bidens regulatory agenda is a political loser with a public that is just not buying climate change as a serious enough problem to warrant any significantsacrifice. Even the administrations biggest legislative triumph in this area was euphemistically named the Inflation Reduction Act, concealing the fact that it gave hundreds of billions toward green energy. The liberal media narrative about a gas stove ban is laughable, suggesting that its a GOP plot to intensify the culture war. Its as if they all get a memo from the WhiteHouse and yet, too many citizens are hoodwinked by their tactics and the lies that cover them up. Its what they do. The problem is we fail to learn from history, fall for the deception, and end up repeating the cycle again. Keep an eye out for the next gas stove debate or policy change, because it wont be about gas stoves. Always remember, the issue is never the issue; the issue is the revolution. ------------------------------- The Washington Shell Game - Bill Wilson www.dailyjot.com If you are a moral person, there are some things happening in Washington, DC lately that might give you some hope. The Republican-led House of Representatives voted that protectsbabies who survive abortion and condemns violence against pro-life charities and churches. The House also voted to repeal the addition of 85,000 Internal Revenue Service agents aimed at making your life more miserable. And an investigation is underway on JoeBiden and his family for their blatant corruption. But dont get your hopes up too much. This is like verse 11 in Jeremiah 8, For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying Peace, peace; when there is no peace. There is no peace in this case because for all the good that the Republican-led House will do, it will come to naught because the Democrats in the Senate and the corrupt onesitting in the White House vow to prevent these bills from becoming law. And there will be no removal of Biden from office for his blatant corruption (which I might add was reported by legitimate media, but censored by the FBI and mainstream media before hiselection) because the Senate will not vote to do the right thing. Oh, wait, theres that word morals coming off the sidelines again. Did you know that all Republicans and only one DemocratHenry Ceullar (TX)voted for the Born Alive Abortion Survivors ProtectionAct? House Republicans also passed a repeal of most of the money ear-tagged to hire an army of 85,000 IRS agents to pry into your personal lives with absolute authority to ruinyou without due process. The vote was 221-210, void of any Democrat. Republicans were all proud of themselves for so expeditiously fulfilling a campaign promise. Along those lines, the Republicans are establishing a committee to review American business withChinathe worlds largest slaver and abuser of human rights, where Christian homes are bulldozed, pastors are jailed, and forced labor is the labor force. The Republicans are also looking at legislation to prevent government from being weaponized against Americancitizens. All good stuff, right? Its going nowhere. Its all part of playing the Washington, DC shell game over and over again expecting different results. These important reformsare going nowhere because Democrats will stonewall them in the Senate, and Biden already has said he will veto them if they somehow miraculously land on his desk. Democrats care about staying in power more than the right or wrong of an issuetheir brand ofdemocracy is based on socialism and strong-armed government. What president would ever imply that he would use F-14s against citizens? Joe Biden, thats who. And that should speak volumes to each of us. Voting these people into office over and over againand expecting different results is not only insane, its, say it with meStupidocrisy. ------------------------ We Are Witnessing An Enormous Wave Of Bankruptcies And Layoffs During The Early Stages Of 2023- by Michael Snyder - http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/we-are-witnessing-an-enormous-wave-of-bankruptcies-and-layoffs-during-the-early-stages-of-2023/ Is your job safe? Right now, we are witnessing so much turmoil is so many different sectors of our economy. The housing market is crashing, the cryptocurrency industry hasimploded, the tech industry is laying off workers at an extremely frightening pace, and some of our most important retailers are heading into bankruptcy. The information that I am about to share with you is deeply troubling. It has become exceedingly clearthat our economy is in huge trouble, and I fully expect that our problems will accelerate even more as the year rolls along. Let me start by pointing out what is currently happening at Microsoft. It is one of the wealthiest companies in the entire world, but due to a shift in macroeconomic conditions executives have decided that it has become necessary to lay off 10,000 workers Microsoft announced thousands of job cuts this week, becoming the latest tech company to pluck its workforce as the global economy slows. The software company confirmed Wednesday its reducing workforce by 10,000 people through the end of the third quarter of the 2023 fiscal year. The cuts come in response to macroeconomic conditions and changing customer priorities, the companys CEO Satya Nadella released in a statement to its employees Wednesday. If even Microsoft is laying off thousands of workers, is any job in the private sector truly safe? Meanwhile, some of the biggest names in the retail industry are plunging into bankruptcy now that the holiday season is over. On Tuesday, it was Party Citys turn Party City filed for bankruptcy protection Tuesday, weighed down by competition and years of financial losses. The largest party goods and Halloween specialty retail chain in the United States said in a regulatory filing that it reached an agreement with debtholders to cut its $1.7billion debt load. Even more alarming is the fact that it is being reported that a bankruptcy filing for Bed Bath & Beyond has become likely Bed Bath & Beyond has been in discussions with prospective buyers and lenders as it works to keep its business afloat during a likely bankruptcy filing, according to peoplefamiliar with the matter. The retailer is in the midst a sale process in hopes of finding a buyer that would keep the doors open for both of its major chains, its namesake banner and Buybuy Baby, saidthe people, who werent authorized to discuss the matter publicly. So many brick and mortar retailers are really struggling right now, and many of them are blaming competition from Internet retailers such as Amazon. But if Amazon is doing so well, why did they start laying off approximately 18,000 workers on Wednesday? Earlier this month, Amazon CEO Andy Jassy told employees in a blog post that the company was laying off about 18,000 people as it seeks to cut costs and would begin contactingimpacted employees on Jan. 18. Amazon has weathered uncertain and difficult economies in the past, and we will continue to do so, Jassy said in the Jan. 4 post. These changes will help us pursue ourlong-term opportunities with a stronger cost structure. The wave of layoffs that we have been witnessing in the tech industry is truly unprecedented. Prior to this week, more than 25,000 tech industry workers had already been laid off this year, and this comes on the heels of the massive layoffs that we saw last year According to the data tracking website, more than 101 tech companies around the world have laid off 25,436 employees so far in 2023. Most of the layoffs have taken place inthe United States, accounting for 22,400 employees fired. The number of workers being laid off from tech companies is a trend that is continuing since 2022, when 154,336 workers were fired from over 1,000 tech companies around theworld, according to the data. But at least the tech industry is in far better shape than the cryptocurrency industry is. Let me share four major announcements that have all happened within the past 10 days #1 It is being reported that Genesis Global Capital is layingthe groundwork for a bankruptcy filing Genesis Global Capital is laying the groundwork for a bankruptcy filing as soon as this week, according to people with knowledge of the situation. The cryptocurrency lending unit of Digital Currency Group has been in confidential negotiations with various creditor groups amid a liquidity crunch. It has warned that itmay need to file for bankruptcy if it fails to raise cash, Bloomberg previously reported. #2 Crypto.com announced that it will be laying off 20% of itsworkforce Crypto.com announced plans to lay off 20% of its workforce Jan. 13. The company had 2,450 employees, according to PitchBook data, suggesting around 490 employees were laidoff. CEO Kris Marszalek said in a blog post that the crypto exchange grew ambitiously but was unable to weather the collapse of Sam Bankman-Frieds crypto empire FTX withoutthe further cuts. #3 Coinbase has decided to cut about a fifth of its workforce On Jan. 10, Coinbase announced plans to cut about a fifth of its workforce as it looks to preserve cash during the crypto market downturn. The exchange plans to cut 950 jobs, according to a blog post. Coinbase, which had roughly 4,700 employees as of the end of September, had already slashed 18% of its workforcein June saying it needed to manage costs after growing too quickly during the bull market. #4 The founder of cryptocurrency exchange Bitzlato has actuallybeen arrested. Apparently he was laundering money on a scale of epic proportions The founder of the Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency exchange Bitzlato was arrested early Wednesday in Miami in connection with a vast money laundering operation, accused oftransmitting more than $700 million in illicit funds in the past four years. Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco said Anatoly Legkodymov, 40, a Russian national, oversaw a major high-tech financial hub that catered to known crooks, including cybercriminalsand drug dealers seeking to process dirty money. The cryptocurrency industry will never look the same again after all of this turmoil. On top of everything else, the Saudis appear to be poised to make a major move that could literally change everything. At the yearly gathering of the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Saudi finance minister decided to drop a bombshell Saudi Arabia is open to discussions about trade in currencies other than the US dollar, according to the kingdoms finance minister. Needless to say, this could potentially completely undermine the dominance of the petrodollar. Of course we cannot afford to have that happen, because the dominance of the dollar is one of the only things that is keeping our system afloat. At this point just about everything is moving in the wrong direction for the U.S. economy, but most people still do not understand the bigger picture. A lot of the experts assume that we will just suffer through a temporary recession and then things will eventually return to normal. I wish that was true. Unfortunately, our entire system is starting to crack and crumble all around us, and those that are currently running things are not going to be able to put it back togetheragain. -------------------
