The next Civil War in America - Bill Wilson -
The liberal left has been fighting an underground civil war in America against anyone who disagrees with their radical and extremist political ideals. The heartbeat of that civil war is growing stronger and becoming more public with each passing day. No different than Islamic extremists, these socialists, communists and, yes, Democrats, are calling for and condoning violence. It is very similar to Islam in that the apologists keep saying that they are peaceful, yet they will not condemn violence when it occurs. It is a sad state of affairs when politics and religion cannot be discussed with civility among Americans. This is, however, the atmosphere that has boiled to the top of the leftist cauldron of "resistance."
Examples this week are indicators of just how bold the political intolerance and ideological bigotry of the left have become. In a TMZ interview on Sunday, 94 year old Actress Carole Cook (Dynasty, Cagney & Lacey) was asked what she thought of President Trump. She replied, "Where's John Wilkes Booth when you need him?" When asked in a follow up if she meant that Trump should be assassinated, she said, "Why not?" On Tuesday, an anonymous Democrat Socialist tweeted that he planned to attend a Trump "Make America Great Again" rally in Washington, DC, tweeting, "I am coming with a gun and I expect to get numerous bloodstained MAGA hats as trophies." The tweet pictured what appeared to be a .45 caliber or 9 mm semi-automatic pistol.
PJ Media reports that lastweek, PJ Media contributor and Fox News guest Denise McAllister sent out a powerful tweet denouncing the abortion movement. The tweet stated: "At the root of [abortion] hysteria is women's unhinged desire for irresponsible sex. Sex is their god. Abortion is their sacrament. It's abhorrent as women have flung themselves from the heights of being the world's civilizing force to the muck and mire of dehumanizing depravity." Since then, McAllister, a rape survivor, had to take herself and her children into hiding because of death and rape threats against her. When she went public about the threats, pro-abortion Twitter users approved of the threats against her.
On Sunday, Farzad Fazeli of Castro Valley, CA., was arrested after he approached Republican congressional candidate Rudy Peters yelling obscenities about Trump, and then threatened to kill Peters with a switchblade he pulled from his pocket. Arson is expected in a fire set to the Republican Party office in Laramie, WY last Thursday. Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) has been calling for people to harass Trump supporters at restaurants, gas stations, and even in their homes. House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA), who survived an assassination attempt in July 2017, Friday said that the left should be held accountable for inciting violence against conservatives. This is the next civil war in America. Proverbs 17:11 says, "An evil man seeks only rebellion." Let us stand in the gap to resist such evil with prayer and action.
The Information War - Bill Wilson -
Both overseas and in America, CNN is in almost every airport. When you want to look something up on the Internet, you "Google" it. If you want to keep in touch with family and friends, you "Facebook" it. If you want to show something to someone you might "Snapchat" or "Pinterest" it. If you want to make a brief statement or comment about something, you "Tweet" it. These and other brands of technology are social or communication platforms that leave the impression that they are open and honest forms of information exchange. We may use them as tools to get our news, communicate with family, even conduct business. But the information provided by these outlets is being proven to be deceptively biased.
Breitbart news has obtained an extraordinary hour-long video of a corporate meeting at Google just after the Trump election. In the video, Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, VPs Kent Walker and Eileen Naughton, CFO Ruth Porat, and CEO Sundar Pichai express resolve that they will use the power of the company to undermine the Trump agenda and the populist movement worldwide. Brin says that the election of Trump was "deeply offensive," and it is "a very stressful time that conflicts with many of our values." He said that "apparently so many people don't share many of the values we have..there have always been people that apparently feel that way, but certainly confronting it firsthand, is pretty upsetting."
Brin compares Trump voters to "extremists," correlating their economic background with voters who back extremist movements. Senior VP for Global Affairs Kent Walker said of Trump voters: "fear, not just in the United States, but around the world is fueling concerns, xenophobia, hatred..." CEO Sundar Pichai said Google will develop machine learning and A.I. to combat "misinformation" shared by "low-information voters." After Breitbart published the story about the video and posted it, a Google spokesperson issued a statement saying, "Nothing was said at that meeting, or any other meeting, to suggest that any political bias ever influences the way we build or operate our products. To the contrary, our products are built for everyone...to be a trustworthy source of information for everyone, without regard to political viewpoint."
Do you see the deceptive propaganda in all this? These communist coup-makers disparage the political beliefs and values of conservative Americans, plot ways to use their means to undermine the elected US government and then issue a statement that says they didn't do that. These are representatives of companies that control information. And by controlling information, they control thought. Can you see the significance of Christ's warning to his disciples in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you." Deception can be subtle. It can be outright. It can be so unbelievable that you have to suspend your disbelief to believe it. How many have family members or friends who take this progressive/communist drivel as fact, and are angry about it? This is the Information War, being waged on your mind. Don't buy into it.
