Tearing Down the Walls - Terry James -
I preface this commentary with an acknowledgement that rumors have it that the Trump administration might insist that Israel tear down some of its walls that separate that tiny nation from its blood-vowed enemies-thus to put together "the deal of the century."
This, of course, brings to mind the prophet Ezekiel's foretelling that Israel will be a "land of unwalled villages" at the time of the Gog-Magog attack. We will address that at another time, if true that this administration will make that wall removal part of "the deal. And I assure the assessment here, if this turns out to be fact, will not be gentle.
Most people as young as 20, and certainly those of us of sufficient age in the late 1980s, know the source of the phrase. President Ronald Reagan demanded, while standing at the Berlin Wall in Germany: "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!"
The reference, of course, was to that hideous, concrete and iron edifice that scarred the middle of Berlin, separating the western part of the city from the east.
The purpose of the Berlin Wall was not to keep people out of Soviet-dominated East Berlin. It was to keep east Berliners from escaping from the dehumanizing, communist regime that was the puppet of Soviet dictator Mikhail Gorbachev's Soviet Union.
U.S. President John F. Kennedy had in 1961 stood near the same spot as Reagan and pointed for all the world to see and hear the evil represented by the wall. President Kennedy said to anyone who wanted to see the difference between the free world and the iron curtain regimes: "Let them come to Berlin!"
Today we are inundated every day by mainstream news reports that try to equate that enslaving wall those decades ago to the wall or barrier on the southern U.S. border that President Donald J. Trump is determined to build.
That wall, of course, is to keep invaders from coming into America, not to keep the American people from leaving this nation. And, make no mistake, those who want to enter America illegally are invaders, not innocent people just seeking a better life.
It is true that many among the invaders are innocent in age and motive. These are unwitting tools of those who profit from the invasion.
The evil, criminal forces that are expert at piercing security at the borders profit monetarily. Those among the deep state and "progressive" political elements within the U.S. are intent on gaining greatly and permanently from the invasion. They want the wall torn down where it exists and kept from construction in areas Mr. Trump is determined to fortify against invasion. These political entities-both in government and in media-want as many illegals as possible to keep pouring into the country in order to procure a permanent underclass that will be forever beholden to them. They want voters who will keep them in power in perpetuity.
And this brings us to the crux of the subject of "walls" I wish to address. The tearing down of walls is one of the most relevant of all of the end-times signs.
Worldwide, those of the "progressive" mindset-the deep-state types, if you will-are determined to tear down, on a global scale, all walls that separate humanity. They want all borders erased. They want a return to Babel like times reported in Genesis chapter 11, so that, as Vladimir Lenin dreamed and John Lennon wrote and sang, all the world will be as one.
They are striving mightily to achieve this worldwide condition. The election of Donald Trump to the presidency dramatically disrupted their plans. They are in an absolute rage because of the disruption. It is destined to grow much more intense in every respect.
Satan wants a global platform from which to launch his man of sin-Antichrist. And, there is no doubt about it. According to Bible prophecy, this will be accomplished. The world will pay a horrendous price for welcoming such a tearing down of borders-the walls of separation between nations- that the Lord of Heaven commanded, following Nimrod's one-world attempt on the plains of Shinar.
The effort is right in our faces, although much of America hasn't been given much information about the attempt to set up this neo-Tower of Babel. The American and international news media have done their best to not alarm the American public with their plans to control every aspect of life in their planning for their new world order.
We haven't heard much about the World Government Summit, except in places like Rapture Ready columns by writer/observers like my great friend and authority on global, end-times issues, Daymond Duck.
Here's a brief summary of what has just taken place in regard to the World Government Summit.
Top globalists are coming out of the closet. Thousands of leading globalists, communists, Islamists and others from around the world converged on the Arabian Peninsula this month for the World Government Summit. Their goal: promote technocratic globalism and plot the future of what they often call their "New World Order." Senior officials from the United Nations, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the European Union, Communist China, central banks, and even the Trump administration showed up to mingle with heads of state and advocates of Islamic Sharia law from across the region. Even Pope Francis delivered a message. As usual, despite top U.S. media outlets partnering with the summit, the establishment press in the United States largely failed to inform Americans about it. So-called Christendom, represented by Catholic Pope Francis, has signed on, joining with representatives of Islam and many other religionists, invoking the name of God to give His blessings. We can only surmise, with great trepidation, who this god is whose blessings they seek.
These are UN goals according to examination of the World Government Summit by the writer of the report: national and global wealth redistribution, government control over the economy, globalist indoctrination of all children, surrendering more sovereignty to global institutions, and much more. They are essentially a "master plan for humanity," as UN bosses put it, to build a global technocratic government that would dominate every facet of human existence.
So, while tearing down the walls of borders that God deemed to be erected following Babel, these minions of the evil one are constructing walls even more dehumanizing, more enslaving than that wall that separated west from east Berlin. It will be the devil's wall-the wall separating lost mankind from their Creator Redeemer-that will bring about the most terrible era of human history, according to Jesus (Matthew 24: 21).
But the Christian of this age-the Church Age-need not fear what is coming from this evil, supernatural, wall construction. The believer in Jesus Christ for salvation, according to Romans 10:9-10, will go to be with Christ when He calls (Revelation 4:1).
The Rapture will take God's children out of harm's way, where they will live gloriously in His magnificent presence for all of eternity.

Greenblatt demands P.A. stop using aid dollars to take care of terrorists
U.S. peace envoy Jason Greenblatt offered a rebuke of the Palestinian Authority and United Nations members who he said are enabling the embattled government to continue paying salaries to terrorists who have killed Jews, according to a readout of Greenblatt's remarks Friday to a closed-door session of the U.N. Security Council exclusively provided to the Washington Free Beacon.
Greenblatt, who has been engaged in shuttle diplomacy to help foster peace between the Israeli and Palestinians, offered a robust defense of Israel and blamed the P.A.'s ongoing budget crunch on a package of policies that have enabled the government to continue spending internationally provided aid dollars on terrorist salaries, a policy known as "pay to slay."
As the P.A. grapples with a deepening budget crisis that threatens its control, U.N. member states have sought to blame Israel for the situation, which has thrown the Palestinian government into chaos. Greenblatt fiercely pushed back against these charges, telling U.N. members that the Palestinians' problems are tied to their refusal to stop spending critical budgetary dollars on terrorists and their families.
The "pay to slay" policy has emerged as a chief diplomatic hurdle in peace talks between the Israelis and Palestinians, sources told the Free Beacon, and Greenblatt used his perch at the U.N. to send a clear message: These payments must stop immediately if the Palestinians are to be seen as a serious partner for peace.
Greenblatt's criticism comes at a key time in peace negotiations, as the Trump administration prepares to unveil its much-anticipated framework for peace.
"It is astonishing that in the year 2019, the Palestinian Authority has not yet taken any steps to end these morally-repugnant payments," Greenblatt told the Security Council, according to one diplomat in the room, who briefed the Free Beacon about his remarks. "It is bewildering that the international community has not been more vocal in condemning this practice."
"If your citizens were being routinely attacked by terrorists, which of you would tolerate a reward system that compensated the attackers for their crimes?" Greenblatt asked the room. "How can we possibly censure Israel for taking the same stance?"
The Palestinian budget crisis hinges on one issue, Greenblatt said: The government's insistence on spending a significant portion of its budget to take care of terrorists.
"The system the Palestinian Authority has set up to make payments to terrorists and their families is not a social welfare system, no matter how inaccurately it is described," he said. "The system created by the Palestinian Authority only creates incentives for further acts of terrorism."
One U.S. official familiar with the remarks told the Free Beacon that Greenblatt offered some hard truths in an atmosphere where they are not often heard.
"Jason spoke truth to a room that needed to hear it," the official said, speaking only on background. "There is no excuse to single out Israel as the reason for this manufactured crises when the Palestinian Authority continues the practice of paying terrorists. This reprehensible practice should be a no brainer issue that the international community can unite around and push the PA to stop this practice and instead focus on making the lives of its people better.
Greenblatt went on to reject claims that Israel is the source of this crisis, saying that the source of the P.A.'s woes is its insistence on using international aid dollars to pay convicted terrorists.
"It is entirely inappropriate to focus on Israel as the source of this crisis," he said. "It is the Palestinian Authority that has chosen to manufacture the current crisis."
"Israel is withholding 5 to 7 percent of monthly clearance revenues, a step Israel took in response to the Palestinian Authority's abhorrent practice of using those funds to make payments to terrorists and their families," Greenblatt said. "It is the Palestinian Authority that has chosen to reject all remaining clearance revenues, which amount to up to 95 percent of the revenues to which they are entitled."
The Palestinians are manufacturing their own budget crisis in order to paint Israel as a pariah, Greenblatt said.
"The Palestinian Authority is refusing to accept over $150 million in revenue to protest the fact that $11 million is being withheld, only to make a political point. Does that sound like a governing authority that is concerned with the welfare of its people?" he asked.
The United States stands by Israel as it withholds funds that would otherwise be spent on Palestinian terrorists, a policy the P.A. has not only endorsed, but refused to abandon in the face of pressure from the Trump administration and a wide swath of Congress.
"The Palestinian Authority has the right to challenge Israel's withholding of the five to seven percent of the clearance revenues that would otherwise be used to pay terrorists and their family members-although I would hope they would garner few supporters for any defense of this indefensible 'pay to slay' policy," Greenblatt said. "But let's not kid ourselves. The small percentage of revenue transfers that is being withheld by Israel is not what is causing this crisis."
Israel remains willing to transfer around 95 percent of revenues to the P.A., money that would be used to fund key infrastructure projects, health works, and the salaries of critical personnel.
"The Palestinian Authority can prevent the withholding even of the small percentage of funds by Israel by ceasing the despicable practice of using public funds to make payments to terrorists and their families," Greenblatt said.
The "pay to slay" policy remains in place, with little protest from U.N. members who view Israel as the source of the crisis.
Greenblatt called this unacceptable.
"Plainly put: the system rewards terrorism. That is why President Trump signed into law the Taylor Force Act, which makes clear that the United States absolutely, without qualification, rejects payments rewarding terrorism," Greenblatt said, referring to a recently passed U.S. law banning the use of aid dollars for the pay to slay program.
In the face of this law, as well as the Trump administration's repeated rebukes, the Palestinian government has made clear that it will not end this policy.
"We must acknowledge that peace can only be achieved by those who reject violence and terror," Greenblatt said. "The Palestinian Authority's institutionalization of support for terrorism is unacceptable and must be called out, unequivocally by all of us. The time has come for everyone to stop looking the other way."
Greenblatt urged U.N. member nations to make their opposition to this policy known.
"The time has also come for all of us to make it clear that the Palestinian Authority, if it aspires to the status of a government, must behave like one," he said. "It is unacceptable for the Palestinian Authority to pay these terrorists and their families a reward for criminal acts. It is unacceptable for the PA to divert its funds and fail to pay the hard working civil servants who teach in Palestinian Authority schools, patrol the streets in uniform, and provide medical care to the sick. The Palestinian Authority would rather pay terrorists than ordinary Palestinians and their families. What a shame!"

Against the backdrop of a Harris poll indicating that Millennials and Generation Z are more likely to embrace socialistic policies and principles than past generations, the lights are out in the poster child for modern socialism-literally. Venezuela, once a gemstone in South America, is in the dark thanks to socialism. That's what happens when socialist dictators take over under the pretense of equality for all and pure democracy. It's lights out. Checkmate. No food on the table. No gas in the car. No car (check Cuba's 1940's US models still being driven, and, oh yes, Fidel Castro's funeral jeep breaking down in his final ride). But there is even a deeper message for America's youth in Venezuela's socialism.

Waiters whisk expensive cuts of meat and bottles of whisky between tables; a couple dances to a band playing in the corner. This steakhouse in the affluent Altamira neighborhood is busier than ever and the front desk juggle payments with wads of cash. Juan, a nightclub owner in his sixties who sips a vodka and orange at the bar, says he has come here with his friends as "there is nowhere else in Caracas you can do this right now". Outside, the streets are deserted as night falls, a crippling nationwide blackout imposing a de facto curfew after another long day of searches for food, water, and fuel."
Every Millennial and Gen Zer in the US needs to hear this. Behind the promises of guaranteed minimum wages, free education, healthcare for all, free transportation, everyone being equal and all the esoteric concepts of everyone having their needs met-Isn't this the same as the current Democratic Party platform?-is the reality. Somebody has to pay. And while somebody is paying, the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. The socialist "president's" (democratically-elected dictator's) buddies get the jobs, get the food and can party all night in the well-lit places while the masses suffer in the outer darkness. That's progressivism, socialism, communism-different names for the same results.
I can't repeat it enough. The Communist Manifesto says, "But communism abolishes eternal truths, it abolishes all religion, and all morality, instead of constituting them on a new basis." Other linchpins of communism are enumerated in the Manifesto: 1) Abolition of property ownership, 2) a heavy progressive income tax, 3) abolition of all rights of inheritance, 4) confiscation of property, 5) centralization of credit, 6) centralization of transportation, 7) centrally planned economy, 8) obligation to work, 9) abolishing distinction between towns and country, and 10) a free education for children. Exodus 20:3 says, "Thou shalt have no other god's before me." When government replaces God, bad things happen--ask citizens of Venezuela. They see the truth, even in the dark. America needs to wake up, especially the "Church."

There is a story on MSN News talking about how the Democrats are in a quandary over free speech. The leadership is having a difficult time dealing with what to do when their members say awful and embarrassing things. The discussion stems from last week's response to Islamist Marxist Ilhan Omar's (D-MN) anti-Semitic remarks about Jews and Israel. They tried to stop the political hemorrhaging by offering a non-binding resolution against anti-Semitic speech. But the resolution turned out to be a document that featured condemning speech against Muslims and Islamists. The socialist Democratic leadership is so worried about everyone's hate speech that they are missing the real question-the one of character.
In this day and age, the rhetoric has become so visceral against anyone who disagrees with what these Marxists believe that it is stepping way across the bounds of decency. I am reminded of the words of Christ in Matthew 15:17-20, "Do you not yet understand, that whatsoever enters in at the mouth goes into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:These are the things which defile a man." The anti-Semitism and vile words from these Marxists pose the question: What is the character of those we are voting for?
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) ended speculation on impeaching President Donald Trump in a Washington Post interview. She said, "Impeachment is so divisive to the country that unless there's something so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan, I don't think we should go down that path, because it divides the country...And he's just not worth it." Hmmmm...impeachment is divisive? What have her and her Marxist colleagues been doing over the past several years, but dividing the country? Moreover, the Marxists, the deep state, and leftist so-called Republicans have been spending millions upon millions of tax dollars in investigations to discredit Trump. Now, no impeachment? Her remarks underscore the coup-type ruse that is being perpetrated. They have no impeachable evidence, and they just want to disrupt.
Then there is the uproar about Trump signing Bibles in Alabama. Some Christians are offended because they feel the Bible is so sacred it shouldn't be signed by anyone. Liberals, however, are demonstrating their ignorance of scripture and their own hypocrisy. They say it's tantamount to worshiping false prophets or point to the same hand that signed a hush money check for a porn star that signed the Bible. In reality, what do they care? Most of them are Marxists so they don't really believe in the Bible or God-and how does one arrive at that assumption? In Matthew 7:20, Christ says, "Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them." Remember that the previous "president" also signed Bibles, and he advocated late term abortion and homosexual marriage. What's that say? Just some tidbits, tittles and questions.

Axios News reports that a Harris poll taken February 21-25 of over 2,000 adults indicates that Millennials and Generation Z are more likely to embrace socialistic policies and principles than past generations. The poll, given exclusively to Axios, cites that 73% agreed that government should provide universal health care; 67% agreed that the government should provide tuition-free college; 43% support abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and nearly half, 49.6%, said they would prefer living in a socialist country. The poll shows that Gen Z and Millennials will be 37% of the voters in 2020 and their top issues are mass shootings, climate change, immigration policy, racial equality and healthcare.
This is dangerous for the personal liberties and religious freedom of every American. Socialism is the pathway to communism. In fact, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics was a communist state. Communism in the 20th century was responsible for over 100 million deaths. It is the ruse of ruses in that socialist/communist leaders count on class warfare to get everyone to demand equality, pitting neighbor against neighbor, family against family, countrymen against countrymen until everyone is fighting. Then they take over and oppress the very people they claimed were disenfranchised while enriching themselves with wealth and power. Communism pulls everyone down to the level of slavery.
Even worse, the Democratic Party has become the socialist political party. Friday House Democrats voted to defend localities that allow illegal immigrants to vote in their elections. Socialist John Lewis (D-GA), a leader in the 1960s civil rights movement, said, "We are prepared to open up the political process and let all of the people come in." The Constitution requires only legal citizens to vote in federal elections, but you see what they are trying to do. The writing is on the wall that the old Democratic Party is the New Socialist Democratic Party as Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT) launched his New Hampshire campaign Sunday insisting that his "radical" ideas are now embraced "across the board" by his party's candidates.

The Senate voted 59-41 Thursday to block President Donald Trump's national emergency declaration to build a wall at the US-Mexico border. The House passed the bill last month. Trump tweeted "veto" after the Senate vote. Those Republicans voting against the emergency resolution were: Lamar Alexander (R-TN), Susan Collins (R-ME), Mike Lee (R-UT), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Roy Blunt (R-MO), Rand Paul (R-KY), Pat Toomey (R-PA), Rob Portman (R-OH), Jerry Moran (R-KS), Marco Rubio (R-FL), Roger Wicker (R-MS) and Mit Romney (R-UT). Some Republican senators voted against the Emergency Resolution because they believe it should not be used to circumvent the Constitution.
The Constitution requires the House of Representatives to originate spending bills. The border wall will cost several billion dollars and the House refuses to authorize money for it. It is all part of the obstructionist game the House Democrats are playing to undermine the Trump presidency-anything he wants, they oppose. The Democrats in Congress, assisted by a handful of like-minded Republicans have brought government to a standstill, mainly over the hate of Trump. Some could argue that this is not true, but just turn on a news program and it is self-evident. These establishment politicians didn't get the president they wanted so they are shutting things down until he is removed from office. This is the real Constitutional crisis.
Those standing on Constitutional principle, or who are making the Constitutional argument, should at least be consistent. Article 6 Clause 3 of the Constitution requires members of the House and Senate to support the Constitution. The Senate oath of office says, "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic." The House oath is similar. Defending the Constitution implies upholding the laws of the nation and protecting national security. The inconsistency for Congress is that it is allowing an invasion of illegal immigrants into this country at great risk to national security.
Herein, they are not upholding or defending the Constitution. To say that they oppose an Emergency Resolution that would protect national security on Constitutional grounds is therefore hypocritical. Congress thus far has opted to oppose any plan that would protect our nation's borders. Whether it is a wall or some other effective measure, arguments that this illegal invasion is not a matter of national security do not meet the straight face test. They say they are upholding the Constitution by their vote against Trump's national security resolution, yet they are ignoring their duty to require enforcement of border security. What does the Bible say about these things...James 1:8, "A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways."
