A New “AI Religion” And A New “AI Bible”?

A New “AI Religion” And A New “AI Bible”? - by Michael Snyder - http://endoftheamericandream.com/a-new-ai-religion-and-a-new-ai-bible/ Will millions of people soon be looking to artificial intelligence for spiritual guidance? Such a notion may sound crazy to you, but we should not underestimate how rapidlyAI is changing our world. Earlier today, my wife showed me some of the things that ChatGPT is capable of doing. In just a matter of moments, it can produce extremely sophisticated answers to very complex questions. Honestly, I was extremely impressed. OtherAI programs are capable of producing very realistic photos, artwork and videos. Of course what we are seeing right now is just the beginning. AI technology is advancing at an exponential rate, and given enough time it would be millions of times more powerfulthan it is right now. In a previous article, I warned that this sort of technology has the potential to take over every aspect of our lives. Sadly, that even includes religion. On Friday, over 300 people attended a “church service” that was led by a ChatGPT chatbot… The artificial intelligence chatbot asked the believers in the fully packed St. Paul’s church in the Bavarian town of Fuerth to rise from the pews and praise the Lord. The ChatGPT chatbot, personified by an avatar of a bearded Black man on a huge screen above the altar, then began preaching to the more than 300 people who had shown up onFriday morning for an experimental Lutheran church service almost entirely generated by AI. During the 40 minute service, four different “avatars” appeared on the screen. Two of them were young women, and two of them were young men. The 29-year-old that came up with this idea said that about 98 percent of the content for the service “comes from the machine”… The 40-minute service – including the sermon, prayers and music – was created by ChatGPT and Jonas Simmerlein, a theologian and philosopher from the University of Vienna. “I conceived this service – but actually I rather accompanied it, because I would say about 98% comes from the machine,” the 29-year-old scholar told The Associated Press. In this case, ChatGPT was asked to contribute to a Christian worship service, and that is definitely very creepy. But of course it is probably just a matter of time before entirely new religions are created by artificial intelligence. In fact, the WEF’s Yuval Noah Harari seems to think that we are already “on the verge” of seeing that happen… The world is on the verge of a new religion created by artificial intelligence, the historian Yuval Noah Harari has claimed. The academic – known for his bestselling book Sapiens – said software such as ChatGPT could attract worshippers by writing its own sacred texts. Speaking at a science conference, he said AI had crossed a new frontier by ‘gaining mastery’ of our language and was now capable of using it to shape human culture. You and I may think that this is a load of nonsense, but the truth is that there are millions of people out there that already believe some really strange things. For example, this week I read about something called “the Church of Psilomethoxin” that already has several hundred followers… A motley assemblage of army veterans, yogis, and psychonauts are mingling in April in the garden of a luxury property just outside Austin, Texas, on the hottest day of theyear yet in the state. Some 350 people are here to dance to ambient music and celebrate a unique new religious congregation that worships with a psychedelic sacrament – one they claim to have created themselves by crossbreeding magic mushrooms with hallucinogenictoad venom. Welcome to the Church of Psilomethoxin. If a “superhuman intelligence” were to create an extremely appealing new “religion” that reflects the cultural values that are currently dominant in our society, I could seea lot of people being attracted to it. The WEF’s Yuval Noah Harari believes that “in a few years there might be religions that are actually correct”, and he is convinced that AI could even be used to “write a newBible”… Harari then dropped a bomb: “AI can create new ideas; [it] can even write a new Bible.” He added that “throughout history, religions dreamt about having a book written by a superhuman intelligence, by a non-human entity” and that “in a few years there might bereligions that are actually correct … just think about a religion whose holy book is written by an AI. That could be a reality in a few years.” If millions of people around the globe started looking to a “superhuman intelligence” to shape their core beliefs, the potential for abuse would be off the charts. Whoever was in control of that “superhuman intelligence” would potentially have an army of adherents ready and willing to do whatever they were commanded. It would be difficult for me to overstate the danger that AI poses for our society. In the wrong hands, such technology could result in death and destruction on an epic scale. Last month, a group of AI scientists signed a statement warning about “the risk of extinction from AI”, but it was almost entirely ignored by the mainstream media… On May 30, a research organization called the Center for AI Safety released a 22-word statement signed by a number of prominent “AI scientists,” including Sam Altman, theCEO of OpenAI; Demis Hassabis, the CEO of Google DeepMind; and Geoffrey Hinton, who has been described as the “godfather” of AI. It reads: Mitigating the risk of extinction from AI should be a global priority alongside other societal-scale risks such as pandemics and nuclear war. This statement made headlines around the world, with many media reports suggesting that experts now believe “AI could lead to human extinction,” to quote a CNN article. Given enough time, artificial intelligence would change our society in ways that we cannot even imagine right now. But will we ever get to that stage? The truth is that we have reached an absolutely critical turning point in our history, and humanity is rapidly running out of time. Some people believe that artificial intelligence will save us from ourselves and will help to usher in a new golden age of peace and prosperity. Others are entirely convinced that artificial intelligence has the potential to greatly contribute to the fall of humanity. Either way, the pace of change is only going to accelerate in the years ahead. We are moving into times that will truly look like something out of a science fiction movie, and I would suggest that is not good news at all. --------------------------- WEF Senior Advisor Insists Artificial Intelligence Will Author A New World Religion In The Next Few Years By Breanna Claussen - https://harbingersdaily.com/wef-senior-advisor-insists-artificial-intelligence-will-author-a-new-world-religion-in-the-next-few-years/ During an interview last week with journalist Pedro Pinto, atheist and World Economic Forum senior advisor Yuval Noah Harari asserted that within a few years, a new religionwill emerge whose author is artificial intelligence. While dismissing the validity of religion as a whole, Harari specifically took aim at Christianity, suggesting that AI can rewrite a new, more correct Bible. [Artificial intelligence is the] first technology ever that can create new ideas. The printing press, radio, television, broadcast spread the ideas created by the human brain,by the human mind. They cannot create a new idea. You know Gutenberg printed the Bible in the middle of the 15th century. The printing press printed as many copies of the Bible as Gutenberg instructed it, but it did not create a single new page, Harari stated. It had no ideas of its own about the Bible. Is it good? Is it bad? How to interpret this, how to interpret that. AI can create new ideas [and] can even write a new Bible. Throughout history, religions dreamed about having a book written by a superhuman intelligence by a non-human entity, he continued. Every religion claims our book. Allthe books of the other religions, humans wrote them, but our book, no, no, no, no, it came from some superhuman intelligence.' Harari went on to claim that in a few years, there might be religions that are actually correct. Just think about a religion whose holy book is written by an AI. That couldbe a reality in a few years. The creators and advocates of artificial intelligence, by its name alone, have disseminated a critical falsehood. AI is merely man-programmed machine learning in which individualsfeed information and design functions. No matter how complex the software and engineering, AI does not possess its own intelligence and cannot be severed from mans wisdom, ignorance, and bias. Ken Ham recently addressed comments from Google co-founder Larry Page who claimed that AI will become a digital god. Digital AI is developed and programmed by sinful human beings! Ham noted. So, their god will reflect that! Todays AI, such as ChatGPT, is incredibly biased with leftist ideologies because it reflects the viewpoints of both those who program it and the voices it pulls from toanswer questions, he underscored. Digital AI makes a sad goda god crafted by humans and limited in its abilities by what we can create and program. It wont save anyone, and it wont turn this world into a utopia The World Economic Forum and other globalist entities have made a habit of openly discussing their schemes. In 2022, I wrote about a World Government Summit panel titled AreWe Ready for A New World Order? in which Economist and White House advisor, Dr. Pippa Malgrem, stated: What underpins a world order is always the financial system. What we are seeing in our world today is that we are on the brink of a dramatic change. Where we are about to,and Ill say this boldly, were about to abandon the traditional system of money and accounting and introduce a new one. And the new one, the new accounting, is what we call blockchain. It means digital. It means having an almost perfect record of every singletransaction that happens in the economy, which will give us far greater clarity over whats going on. Complete control over financial transactions and a new world religion intelligently penned by AI? The plans of the globalists bare unmistakable resemblance to what GodsWord stated will occur in the future. While Hararis intent was to undermine the authority of the Bible, it seems he accidentally validated Gods authorship of Scripture. God, who knows the end from the beginning, told us in His Word that there would arise a worldwide dictatorship that would control the buying and selling of every person onearth. This tyrannical world government will demand participation and worship of a new world religion. At the center of this new religion will be the one the Bible refers to as the antichrist, the beast, or lawless one (1 John 2:18, Rev. 13, 2 Thess. 2). Instrumentalin his enforcement of this new religion will be the image of the beast. Revelation 13:15-18 KJV And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worshipthe image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of thebeast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Pastor Barry Stagner, in an episode of The Line Up, explained the possible connection between artificial intelligence and the image. In Revelation 13 weve got some type of lifelike statue erected, an image of the Beast that seems to be alive and theres a mark associated with his name, the number of hisname, and the worship of the Beast. This is consistent with a lot of the things we see going on today and moving in that direction, Stagner noted. We know in Revelation 13, that the whole world is going to go after the Beast. All the Earth dwellers, anyonenot written in the Lambs Book of Life, are all going to be in agreement. They are all going to be on the side of the Beast. A lot of people have been talking about whether its artificial intelligence, this image that has life breathed into it, or seems tobe lifelike. AI seems to be a pretty good candidate for how thats going to happen. Similar to the bias we can see within todays artificial intelligence (machine learning), the antichrist, during the seven-year tribulation, will also insert his tyrannicalworldview into the programming of AI. As Hal Lindsey, author of the Late Great Planet Earth, highlighted, several things in Bible prophecy seem to indicate the end-times use of AI. For instance, Revelation 13 talks about an economic system based on the Mark of the Beast. It will require all transactions to go through the Mark system. To ensure compliance, the antichrists government will have to surveil everyone, all the time, he described. There arent enough people to police humanity at that level, but AI can keep constant tabs on everyone. AI can monitor the billions of cameras, computers, satellites, cash registers, phones, and everything else connected to it. AI will correlate and interpret that massive flow of data, Lindsey continued. It never sleeps; never takes a break. AI-powered robots can enforce the laws. Critics of regularpolice accuse them of favoritism and emotion-based prejudices. But if you defund the police, you still have the problem of crime and criminals. AI robots, on the other hand, have no emotions. They treat everyone the same. They dont require compensation. Andthey can be as deadly as needed. Were headed into a new world, and were not walking. Were running sprinting, he explained. Starting thousands of years ago, the Bible described our time. As always,Gods prophecies are proving to be true. The Word of God did not sprout from the inspiration of man. Attacking the authenticity of the Bible places Harari in direct opposition to Christ Himself. As John 1:1-5, 14outlines, the Word of God was made flesh in the person of Jesus Christ. As for the suggestion of AI rewriting the Bible, whether Harari or the AI programmers realize it, this Antichrist spirit of thinking is directly forewarned against: Revelation 22:18-19 KJV For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto himthe plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. As Ken Ham further emphasized, Dont put your faith in a puny, man-made digital god who cant save. Put your faith in Jesus who made us and can redeem us. Its only the one true God who solves our biggest problem. He came to earth in the person of his Son, Jesus Christ, and died on the cross, paying the penalty that we deservebecause of our sin. Then he rose from the graveconquering sin and deathand offers eternal life to all who will put their faith and trust in him, he implored. Those that put their faith in Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Lord and Savior today will not have to witness the antichrists wicked world governance. Those that trustthe authority of Gods Word have incredible hope. Not only will Jesus rescue His bride (the church) prior to the horrors of the tribulation, but He will also be the One after seven years of Gods wrath who will bring a decisive end to the beast system thatis already desired by todays globalists. -----------------------------------
