In the aftermath of the tragic death of George Floyd, it would have been wonderful to see the entirenation unite behind an effort to make our society less violent, more just and more peaceful. But instead, we have seen a tremendous explosion of violence and lawlessness that doesn't seem likely to end any time soon. Violent crime rates are surging in major city after major city, and the 4th of July weekend was particularly bad. At least 41 people were hit by gunfire in New York Cityduring the holiday weekend, and this continues a trend that we have seen throughout the first half of 2020. Just check out these numbers... According to figures released by the New York Police Department, for the first six months of this year, there were 176 murders, an increase of 23 percent on the 143 killedduring the same period last year. The number of shooting victims has gone up 51 percent to 616 this year. In June alone, there were 250 shootings compared to 97 in the same month last year. Month-on-month,burglaries are up 119 percent and car thefts up 48 percent. I don't know which one of those numbers is the worst, because they are all quite horrific. A tremendous amount of money has been shifted away from the NYPD budget, and that certainly isn't going to help matters. For years, the hard work of the NYPD had helpedto make New York safer than many of our other major cities, but now that is changing at a pace that is absolutely breathtaking. In fact, one British news source is now referring to the city as "lawless New York"... Two bullet-ridden bodies lay sprawled on bloodstained concrete steps. Alongside, relatives of the victims are wailing and collapse to the ground. In another part of thecity, a gang of youths use spray paint to disable security cameras before robbing a corner store. Later, video footage captures police officers sitting helplessly in their patrol car as a baying crowd hurls glass bottles at them. This is lawless New York - a city that was once America's glittering crown jewel but which risks descending into mob rule. Of course New York still has a long way to go if it wants to rival Chicago. According to authorities, there are more than 100,000 gang members living in Chicago at thispoint, and the violence never seems to stop. Sadly, the last couple of days have been particularly bad. Over the 4th of July weekend, at least 67 people were hit by gunfire in the Windy City... At least 67 people were shot, including 13 fatally, over the Independence Day weekend in Chicago, according to authorities. Nine of the weekend's victims were minors, and two children died, officials told Fox32. That includes 14-year-old boy who was among four people who were killed in the SouthSide neighborhood Englewood on Saturday evening. But instead of blaming the criminals, the Chicago Sun-Times seem to think that "cutting funding for police could lead to a better and safer Chicago". Seriously? Do people actually believe such nonsense? Philadelphia is another major city that is seeing a massive increase in violent crime at the same time funding for the police is being cut back... Shootings are up 67 percent. Victims of armed violence are up 29 percent. Homicides are up 25 percent. So of course it makes sense to defund the Philadelphia PD by $19 million. Most Americans desperately want their neighborhoods to feel safe, and this could be the one issue that could rescue the Republicans from a potential disaster in the Novemberelection. Right now, most Democrats are extremely hesitant to speak out against the violent protests that we have been witnessing all over the nation, and that is a huge mistake. And we definitely witnessed more alarming violence during the political protests that were held over the past few days. For example, protesters in Portland were launching projectiles and shooting fireworks at police officers in Portland for hours. If Democrats want to win over independentvoters, they cannot be seen as siding with such violence. By engaging in such utter lawlessness, these radical protesters are actually hurting their own cause, because it is only going to help President Trump. The more violence that we see, the more the American people are going to want it to stop. If tens of millions of voters believe that "Joe Biden's America" is an Americafilled with rioting, looting and violence, that could potentially be enough to push Trump over the top in November. So Joe Biden's unwillingness to strongly call for law and order may turn out to be his Achilles heel. The way national elections are won in America is by winning over the millions of confused people in the middle, and right now the images of these protests that those confusedpeople are viewing on their television screens are definitely not helping Democrats. For example, over the weekend protesters in New York were burning American flags as they chanted "America was never great"... FAR left protesters have burned American flags outside Trump Tower and the White House. Video shows the Stars and Stripes being burned just outside the White House as the demonstrators chanted "America was never great". Does anyone out there actually think that such stunts will make the confused people in the middle more likely to vote for Democrats? Right now, Trump is way behind in the polls, but if he makes these protesters the central issue of the campaign over the next several months he may still have a chance ofwinning. But no matter who wins in November, it appears that we have now entered a new era of violence and rioting in this country. Many of our major cities already resemble war zones, and what we have experienced so far is just the beginning. Reddit wants consumers to know that you can say whatever you want about white people, and it will not be censored. It is becoming clear that the news networks are unconcerned about a growing number of violent attacks against white citizens. An employee of Macy's was the victim of an"unprovoked" attack by a black man. This hate crime received very little news coverage. The punching of a 92-year-old woman, causing her to strike her head on a fire hydrant, was widely reported. The outrage should have been over the fact that this is the 103rdtime Rashid Brimmage has been arrested. A guy with a long history of mental problems is able to freely walk around attacking people because of his race. If a white person was attacking African Americans on the direction from his dead mother, I doubt his mentalstate would stand as an excuse. I'm sure Rashid Brimmage is already back on the street, so as soon his meds wear off, he'll be looking for his next victim. The Defund the Police movement has turned law enforcement on its head. When the infamous noose was found hanging in Black NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace's garage stall at TalladegaSuperspeedway, it took 15 FBI agents to investigate and determine that it was just a handle. When a woman asked a Chicago cop to stop a black man who was in the act of committing a crime, the officer looked at her and said, "Do you think I want to show upon tomorrow night's news?" He then just walked away. We are at the point where whites have to walk on eggshells around a clique of narcissistic sociopaths. Cancel culture is mob rule, and mob rule is, at its core, the trueevil. Even people who didn't do anything at all are subject to the mob's wrath. An L.A. Galaxy soccer player was forced to resign because his wife tweeted that the rioters shouldbe shot. A lawyer in San Francisco was fired because his wife was rude to a man she thought was spray-painting BLM propaganda on a building. A company called Equity Prime Mortgage fired the stepmother of the officer charged in the controversial shooting ofdrunk driver Rashad Brooks. The stepmother was apparently fired for no reason other than the family link. A San Diego Gas and Electric employee lost his job for "making a white supremacist hand gesture." This man lost his livelihood despite the fact that he wasn't even makingan OK sign. He was apparently cracking his knuckles as he drove. I think White Fragility is one of the worst books ever written. It was written by liberal authors who follow an insane line of logic that concludes all white people areborn into a culture of racism. It promotes the racist lie that this group of humans is incapable of being racist because of the color of their skin, and this group of humans is incapable of not being racist because of the color of their skin. The book's logic could equally conclude that the Jews were responsible for World War II, and the German people have no responsibility for the Holocaust. The only thing thebook does for white people is it's a resource for those that need more of a reason to feel bad about themselves. I read about Aunt Jemima's pancake mix legal battle that showed me how close we are to total racial madness. Quaker Oats' announcement that Aunt Jemima would get a new nameand logo motivated a reporter to seek out Larnell Evans Jr. He is the great-great-grandson of Anna Short Harrington, one of several actresses who played Aunt Jemima at fairs and in advertisements. Evans and his nephew Dannez Hunter have invested a huge amount of time in trying to shake down Quaker Oats about their shared history. In September of 2014, they filed theirlawsuit against PepsiCo, the corporate owner of Quaker Oats, alleging that Harrington had helped develop Aunt Jemima's signature self-rising pancake mix, and that the company had used her likeness as its logo without providing proper compensation. They askedfor a paltry $2 billion in relief and a share of sales revenue. The two did not bother to hire a lawyer. They created a massive legal document that implied a vast plot against black people. The documents' idiosyncrasies elicited snarkfrom judicial authorities. "At over 50,000 words, Hunter's complaint is longer than both The Great Gatsby and the King James Bible's version of the Book of Genesis," the dismissal of a subsequent filing in Minnesota reads. "The overlong complaint meandersacross a vast landscape pocked by conspiracy. Portions of the complaint are written in what appears to be Chinese." The Quaker Oats company has long rejected their claim-arguing the character was fictitious and had never been based on a living person. This is a line Quaker Oats has stuckto since at least 1948 when they renewed the alleged Harrington trademark and added a note stating the image did not depict a living person. The case by Evans and Hunter was dismissed on three grounds: that the statute of limitations had lapsed; that their 15 claims either weren't recognized by law, weren't establishedwith evidence, or were implausible; and that the uncle and nephew lacked documentation proving their relation to Harrington or her estate. Things have become so crazy, the day may come when PepsiCo is forced to pay a vast sum of money to anyone who claimsto be a descendent of Aunt Jemima. I was very alarmed when people started bowing to show their support for the Black Lives Matter cause. We are not too far from the point of this movement turning into a religionthat requires everyone to pledge their souls to the god of racial justice. Anyone who doesn't bow before this demonic idol will get their heads chopped off. Sociologists said this trend would change everything. But, as with so many things, 2020 turned that trend on itshead. Suddenly, Americans of all ages can't get to the suburbs and rural areas fast enough. The move to the cities was made possible by dramatically lowering the crime rate in those cities. But now, urban crime is rising so fast it makes your head spin. A recent article in The Hill said, "An estimated quarter of a million New York residents will move upstate for good, while another 2 million could permanently move out of the state. More than16,000 New York residents have already relocated to suburban Connecticut. The preliminary figures show New York is also losing citizens to rural New England and Florida in significant numbers." The housing boom in San Francisco seems to have finally gone bust-at least for now. Real estate prices there have dropped by more than 50%. It's still an expensive place to buy a home, butcan you imagine how people feel who bought houses in that area only a few months ago? The crisis in these cities comes in part from the coronavirus. But it is being exacerbated by the rise in violent crime. If you have been a regular viewer of my television programs throughthe years, you've heard me speak many times about the crucial role of the "thin blue line" of police in our communities. That line stands between us and the law of the jungle. That's especially true in times of crisis. Yet many cities are defunding, even dismantling their police departments. In New York, they have decided to take a billion dollars out of the policebudget. Los Angeles wants to defund police to the tune of 250 million dollars. In Minneapolis, they say they intend to dismantle their police department altogether. That means erasing the thin blue line. You can be sure that the elites in those cities willhave all the security they need. But the poor and the middle class will become increasingly vulnerable. The Bible foretold that the time near the return of Christ would be marked by lawlessness. In Luke 17:26-30, Jesus compared those days to the times of Noah and Lot. Genesis 6:11 tells us thatin the time of Noah, "The earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and the earth was filled with violence." That sounds like today-rampant violence and corruption. Lot lived in a time and place of violent mobs. In both stories, we see that people lacked empathy, and thought mostly of themselvesand their pleasures. Several places in the Bible warn us that the end times will be times of "lawlessness." That, along with so many other signs, seems to be describing our day. Along with lawlessness, we're seeing an assault on the nuclear family. One organization being highly funded by corporate America plainly says on their website, "We disrupt the Western-prescribednuclear family structure." But the family structure is not "Western-prescribed," it is God-prescribed. It is the foundation of civilization. Notice how all these things are an attack on civilization itself. The judicial system and police are under fire. The concept of family is under fire. The educational system has been largelyco-opted by people who hate God and the things of God. I could go on and on about the God-appointed institutions meant to protect us, that are now under siege. But if your hope is in Jesus Christ, know that He will never let you down. His promises remain true, even in times of trouble. And He has His people still on this earth for a distinct purpose.He's not through with us. He's not through with you!
