ISRAEL UPDATE: 8.22.20 - Is The Stunning Israel Peace Deal A Prelude To Fulfilled Prophecy?

Is The Stunning Israel Peace Deal A Prelude To Fulfilled Prophecy? - Michael Snyder - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=4231 Last week's surprise announcement of a peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates caught just about everyone by surprise. I hadn't heardanything about a potential deal in the works, and the mainstream media in the western world was completely blindsided by the deal. But this has become Israel's pattern in recent decades. The Oslo Accords, Israel's peace deal with Jordan and other agreements were negotiated under a cloak of total secrecy because officials didn't wantpublic sentiment to potentially destroy negotiations. And there could potentially be other "peace deals" in the works right now that we don't know anything about. President Trump is touting this as a major diplomatic victory, and he is hoping that it will sway some votes in November. At this juncture, Trump istrailing badly in most polls and he needs another miracle like we witnessed in 2016. But it was really Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that was the driving force behind this deal. He has been seeking to build relations withthe UAE for many, many years, and this deal is the culmination of those efforts. In order to get this deal, however, Netanyahu had to agree not to annex any land in the West Bank... The United Arab Emirates has normalized relations with Israel in a historic US-brokered deal that "suspends" Israeli annexation of occupied land soughtby the Palestinians for their future state. The surprise agreement, initially announced by the US president, Donald Trump, makes the UAE the first Gulf country and only the third Arab nationin the world to have active diplomatic ties with Israel, joining Egypt and Jordan. This is a very odd development, because to many people it seemed like Netanyahu was dead set on annexing portions of Judea and Samaria. In fact, he specifically promised to do so during the last election. Could it be possible that all of that rhetoric was just a negotiating ploy? If Israel had really gone ahead and annexed those lands, it would have killed any international efforts to create a Palestinian state. But now that annexation is completely dead, the potential for a "peace deal" that would create a Palestinian state is very much alive. According to the New York Times, the relationship between Israel and the UAE "had been building quietly for years", and according to a British newssource this peace agreement will also open a door for "deals on direct flights, security, telecommunications, energy, tourism and healthcare"... A joint statement from the US, the UAE and Israel said delegations will meet in the coming weeks to sign deals on direct flights, security, telecommunications, energy, tourism and healthcare. They are expected soon to exchange ambassadors and embassies and a signing ceremony is due to be held at the White House. Ultimately, peace in the Middle East is something that we should all want, but at what cost has it been achieved? It appears that West Bank annexation will never happen now, and we are being told that Netanyahu "traded it away" for a goal that was even more importantto him... In an ironic twist, that plan became the catalyst that finally gave Mr. Netanyahu the opening he had long sought. With pressure building for him todrop the annexation plan, he traded it away for something he wanted even more. This may help Netanyahu win some moderate votes in the next election, but there are many conservatives in Israel that feel like they have been playedand are not happy with Netanyahu right now at all. Of course Netanyahu is not going to stop with the UAE. According to Reuters, Bahrain and Oman could also soon normalize relations with Israel... Bahrain and Oman could be the next Gulf countries to follow the United Arab Emirates in formalising ties with Israel, Israel's intelligence ministersaid on Sunday. In fact, Netanyahu has actually publicly admitted that he has been speaking with the leaders of Oman and "other countries" in the region... Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Fox News on Sunday that he has been speaking with leaders from Arab countries in addition to the United ArabEmirates (UAE) following the American-mediated peace deal announced last week between the two countries. He stated that he spoke with political leaders in Oman and "other countries," and that the key to such discussions is discretion. In the end, many believe that all of this diplomacy is all about Iran. In recent years, Netanyahu has relentlessly been attempting to unite as much of the Middle East as possible against Iran. The Israelis believe thata conflict with Iran is probably inevitable, and so they would like to isolate the Iranians as much as they can. Of course many Sunni governments in the region have long been hostile toward the radical Shiite regime in Tehran. In particular, the Saudis would loveto see the Iranian "problem" go away, and so they have a strategic interest in working with Israel toward that goal. As Israel and the various Sunni governments across the Middle East become increasingly cozy, could this create an environment that will eventuallylead to an agreement to create a Palestinian state? I think that this is a very important question to ask at this point. Needless to say, most of the rest of the world would greatly rejoice if a peace agreement could be reached that would finally create a Palestinianstate, but formally dividing the land of Israel would set the stage for coming against God Himself. Many had assumed that a conservative like Netanyahu would never be willing to give up land for an agreement that would guarantee "lasting peace", butthe agreement that he just reached with the UAE may suggest otherwise. If Netanyahu is willing to permanently sacrifice dreams of annexing portions of Judea and Samaria for a peace agreement with the UAE, what would hebe willing to do for a comprehensive peace agreement with all of the Sunni governments in the region? Peace can be a very seductive mistress, and I have a feeling that we are about to see things happen in the Middle East that many thought would neverbe possible. Editors Note: Many Bible Prophecy experts have been watching for the emergence of an agreement/covenant between Israel and "many" for a period of seven years. Thisprophetic event is found in Daniel 9:27. The signing of such an agreement will introduce the final 7 year period laid out in Daniel's 70 Weeks prophecy which is often called the Tribulation period. It is during this period that the majority of the events of the book of Revelation are fulfilled. Of particular importance in this 7 year timelineis what is often called the "abomination of desolation" which involves the Antichrist desecrating the rebuilt Jewish temple 3.5 years after this agreement is signed, stopping the sacrifices. People have begun to wonder if this new agreement with the UAE will play a role in the fulfillment of this prophecy. It is possible but at this pointit is far from fulfilling the many requirements of Daniel's prophecy. Here is a breakdown of what Daniel 9:27 describes vs what we see happening today: 1. Israel's agreement with "many". - At this point it isonly the UAE however there is speculation that Bahrain, Oman, Morocco and Saudi Arabia may all be future participants. If expanded to other nations it would meet the requirement of the "many". 2. It is a treaty that will be "confirmed", suggestingthe guaranteeing or ratifying of an existing treaty. This treaty may possibly set the stage for an initial agreement that is later confirmed or guaranteed by an outside party (The Antichrist). 3. "He" - who is the "he" that confirms this treaty andbreaks it 3.5 years later by desecrating the Jewish temple? The Bible describes him as "the Beast" in Revelation 13 - or Antichrist as he is commonly called and he is to be the leader of a 10 king/10 nation confederacy. There is no current world leader whoheads up a 10 nation confederacy or meets the other requirements described of the Antichrist. 4. "seven years" - The treaty in Daniel is described asbeing for a period of one seven or seven years. This treaty doesn't meet that requirement in it's current form. Most treaties signed these days are for an indeterminate time - meant to be long lasting. It seems unlikely that any new agreement would be onlyfor 7 years. Why this treaty in Daniel would be for 7 years remains a mystery. 5. "abomination of desolation" - in order to desecratethe temple and stop the sacrifice 3.5 years after the agreement - you have to have a temple built in the first place. There are significant developments to help bring about the restoration of the temple and include everything from training Temple priests andcreating temple instruments - to the hope that qualifying red heifers have been found as we included in today's newsletter. Will efforts to rebuild the Jewish temple be part of a future peace agreement? It seems unlikely in the near future so this remainsa major hurdle. A more likely scenario. The War of Pslam 83 & Ezekiel 38 - then Daniel 9:27 peace. This agreement with the UAE is likely first step to peace with the gulf nations including Saudi Arabia. All of these nations live in fear of Iran andIsrael could be their most strategic ally to counter Iran's aggression. Ezekiel 38 describes an invading force that comes against against Israel led by Iran, Russia, Libya, Turkey and others that result in a verbal protest by "Sheba & Dedan" - the currentday areas of Saudi Arabia and the gulf states. Note it is only a verbal protest as these nations are not strong enough militarily to take on Iran let alone any other invading nations. Why does theBible even bother to mention their protest? It could very well be to signify this new direction by some Arab states to make peace with Israel. Those nations who are part of the Ezekiel 38 coalition are destroyed. Another conflict is described in Psalm 83 which has many of Israel's neighborsnot involved Ezekiel 38 also coming against Israel in another war that results in their defeat. After the defeat of so many nations who come against Israel it would not be surprising to see a larger peace treaty that involves a limited time (7 years) and therestoration of the Jewish temple - as the Arab world would no longer be strong enough to oppose it. The world would demand of course that an agreement be ratified/guaranteed by an outside power - such as the leader of this new 10 nation alliance (yetto be seen on the world stage). Ultimately these are speculations to how things might play out but God's ways are not our ways and we can't put God in a box of newspaper headlines. However we need to be aware of what the Bible says will happen in the last days and while the details as to how we get there may be foggy - God will be faithful to fulfill them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Rabbi Inspects Red Heifer in Secret Location in Israel for use in 3rd Temple - www.breakingisraelnews.com This is the ritual law that Hashem has commanded: Instruct B'nei Yisrael to bring you a red cow without blemish, in which there is no defect and onwhich no yoke has been laid. Numbers 19:2 (The Israel BibleTM) Rabbi Azaria Ariel, traveled to an undisclosed ranch in Israel to lead the Temple Institute's efforts to raise a red heifer for the performance ofthe commandment of producing the purifying ashes of the red heifer. He recently inspected the current red heifer candidates and shared their status. One of the two more mature candidates is still very viable, even though it has a few hairs which aren't sufficiently red, as required by halacha (Jewishlaw). Two new candidates were born in the early months of 2020, and they are currently viable. The ordinance of the red heifer is described in the Bible: This is the ritual law that Hashem has commanded: Instruct B'nei Yisrael to bring you a red cow without blemish, in which there is no defect and onwhich no yoke has been laid. (Numbers 19:2) The purifying power of the ashes of the red heifer posses the ability to overcome the spiritual impurity contracted via physical contact with a corpseor cadaver, known in Hebrew as טמא מת - tamei met. The renewal of the ashes of the red heifer would enable kohanim (Temple priests) today to achieve the highest level of spiritual purity, allowing them to resume their work in the Holy Temple. This would eliminate one more stumbling block on the way to rebuilding the Holy Temple and renewing the Divine service. Rabbi Azaria also mentionsjust a few of the many other commandments whose performance will be enabled by or enhanced by the resumption of the ashes of the red heifer. Following are Rabbi Azaria's words translated into English. The video is subtitled in English: "We are hoping, withG-d's help, to raise a kosher red heifer, with the intention of fulfilling the commandment of creating the ashes of the red heifer, and thus enabling all of Israel to be purified from the impurity of tame met, and thereby be able to perform many commandmentsthat required spiritual purity, such as trumot and ma'aserot (tithes), and many commandments whose proper performance are reliant on the purifying power of the ashes of the red heifer. In the meantime, we are standing next to a red heifer candidate whose statusis somewhat uncertain. She bears a patch of hair that is not currently sufficiently red, but there is a very real possibility that these hairs will redden before too long. And then we will return and check her again, with the hope that she will at that timebe kosher for the performance of the commandment of the red heifer." Mideast Peace Talk and Prophetic Punditry - By Terry James - https://www.raptureready.com/2020/08/19/mideast-peace-talk-and-prophetic-punditry-by-terry-james/ One major signal just leaped to the top of God's prophetic timeline. Israel and her traditional enemies, the Arabs, have agreed to full normalization of relations. While the agreement, to be soon formalized at a White House signing, isn't an agreement of peace in terms of a full peace treaty between Israel and all its Arab neighbors,it is the first time in twenty-five years that such an agreement has been reached. The first was between Israel and Egypt, when Jimmy Carter, Israel Prime Minister Menachem Began, and Egyptian President Anwar Sadat came together in 1978. The second was in1994 when Israel and Jordan signed a similar agreement. Both treaties have held relatively firm since their signings. This agreement is between the UAE (United Arab Emirates)-a Gulf state-and Israel. Israel agreed to suspend its planned extension of sovereignty over parts of Judea and Samariato facilitate relations with the UAE and potentially other Arab and Muslim countries. The action has, as might be expected, brought praise and condemnation from various parties involved in international relations. Among prophecy watchers, it has stirred much punditry, as does any activity involving Israel and the peace process. The big question some are asking: Is this peace signingthe one that will eventually bring about the covenant made with death and hell as foretold in Daniel 9:26-27 and Isaiah 28:15, 18? According to the Jerusalem Post: The agreement will include establishing embassies and exchanging ambassadors, investments into the Israeli economy, trade, direct flights between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi,an investment in Israeli efforts to develop a corona virus vaccine - as first reported in The Jerusalem Post last month - and cooperation in matters of energy and water. An important element of the deal for the UAE is the expectation that its citizens wouldbe able to visit the Al-Aksa mosque in Jerusalem. (Lahav Harkov, "Third-ever Peace Treaty between Israel and an Arab State Includes Embassies, Direct Flights; Agreement "Suspends" Annexation, but Netanyahu Says: 'I will never give up on our right to our land,'"Jerusalem Post, Omri Nahmias, 8/14/2020) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared the deal "full, formal peace" with "one of the strongest countries in the world." "Together we can bring a wonderful future. It is an incomparably exciting moment," he said. "I have the great privilege to make the third peace treaty between Israel andan Arab country, the UAE." In a post to his Twitter account, President Donald Trump said: "Opening direct ties between two of the Middle East's most dynamic societies and advanced economies will transformthe region by spurring economic growth, enhancing technological innovation, and forging closer people-to-people relations." Speaking further in the Oval Office, Trump indicated he anticipated "many more countries" in the region normalizing ties with Israel and "some very exciting things including, ultimately, with the Palestinians." The Israeli prime minister said he has "reason to be very optimistic that the announcement with the UAE will be joined by more countries in this expanding circle of peace." Palestinian leadership and Iranian leadership are among those not happy with the peace-making effort. But others of the Arab world believe it to be in their best interestto see stability in the region that such an arrangement will bring. Most Arab leaders who see the advantages are pleased that Israel has put on hold the annexation of much of the Jordanian territory they had been seeking to implement. Netanyahumade it plain that the agreement in no way is giving up Israel land for a peace arrangement. In this regard, making the agreement, which includes no giving up of Israeli territory, breaks tradition of other efforts at peace, in which the Jewish state had toagree to give away parcels of land to get Arab agreement. The agreement "ushers in a new era of peace between Israel and the Arab world," Netanyahu said. Many Bible prophecy students who observe developments see this as a major event in bringing about the wrap-up of the age. Considering all the other issues and events thatseem to be converging at such a torrid pace, it is more than understandable that Israel making such an agreement brings sharp observation and commentary. One such pundit believes that French President Emmanuel Macron is the number-one candidate to be Antichrist. According to many, Macron exhibits many of the characteristicsof that future man of sin. Macron immediately asserted his strong support and intention to get involved in the new peace agreement in several statements. The French president's comments brought somestrong opinions including from the aforementioned writer, who writes the following: Emmanuel Macron has now officially inserted himself into not only the Middle East on multiple levels, he has also just given himself a seat in the "Abraham Accord" announcedby President Trump and Jared Kushner yesterday... This is the beginning of the Daniel 9:27 covenant with "death and Hell." This is it, and Emmanuel Macron is the man of sin. While I'm not prepared to make bold declarations such as naming Antichrist, nor even to declare this to be the beginning of that apocalyptic false peace, I can certainlyjoin in the exuberance in pointing to where this generation almost certainly stands on God's prophetic timeline. Prophecy Fulfilled? Joel Rosenberg Lays Out the Biblical Meaning Behind the Israel-UAE Peace Deal - Chris Mitchell - https://www1.cbn.com/cbnnews/israel/2020/august/prophecy-fulfilled-joel-rosenberg-lays-out-the-biblical-meaning-behind-the-israel-uae-peace-deal As all sides move to finalize the peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), it's causing a political shuffle across the Middle East and some believeit may have prophetic implications. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he saw only good results from the historic agreement. "Peace is a good thing and peace unites moderates, two of the most advanced economies in the world - Israel and the United Arab Emirates - and two of the most moderate,"he told Fox News in an interview on Sunday. "We're fighting Iran and the radicals who are trying to overthrow our order in the Middle East, subjugate people, propagate terrorism. So, this is good for peace, good forsecurity, good for prosperity. I think it's good for the United States and good for Israel," Netanyahu continued. Not everyone in the Middle East agrees. Iran flat-out condemned the move and the Palestinian Authority (PA) called the UAE traitors. The PA withdrew its envoy from the UAEand Palestinians protested after Friday prayers on the Temple Mount. The Palestinians also announced they would boycott the Dubai Expo 2020, which was rescheduled to October 2021 due to the coronavirus. Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan threatened to break off diplomatic relations with the UAE. "The exact suspects that you would expect to hate this deal, hate this deal," best-selling author and Middle East expert Joel Rosenberg told CBN News. He believes Turkey's reaction to the peace deal is revealing. "Why is that interesting? Because Turkey has a relationship [with Israel]. They have full normalization with us here in Israel. So, the idea that the would-be 'sultan' ofTurkey is condemning a Muslim state for creating a full normalization with Israel that he already has, it's ridiculous and it's hypocritical," Rosenberg explained. "It's indicative of the fact that Erdogan is taking his country out of the western moderate camp, into the Iranian, Islamism more radical camp. And that's a long term veryserious problem," he said. Rosenberg also believes this "Abraham Accord' - has prophetic undertones. "What we watch in the book of Ezekiel, chapters 38 and 39, which is known as the ***eschatological*** future war of Gog and Magog, is the Arab states being very calm andquiet towards Israel. Israel [is] reconstructed, peaceful, prosperous, calm, secure and then a Russian-Iranian-Turkish alliance forming against Israel." The Bible talks about a confederation of nations it calls Gomer, Put, Cush, Persia, Togarmah, Gog and Magog one day coming against Israel. "Now, I'm not saying the war with Gog and Magog is imminent," Rosenberg explained. "I'm saying that the trend lines of peace in the Middle East, with a Russian-Iranian-Turkishaxis - this is exactly where we are heading. This is the trajectory, and this is something that should cause all Christians to watch carefully and continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem." It's the city of Jerusalem that President Erdogan and the leaders of Iran say that one day they want to conquer.
