After all, Jesus, Paul, James, John, Peter and other prophets gave us signs to look for, andevery one of them, except for the Rapture and the appearance of the antichrist, are here right now. (all emphasis mine) The Ezekiel coalition has been formed for the first time in history, and God has made sure that Russia, Iran and Turkey are in desperate need of resources to survive. Then,there sits tiny Israel with all those natural gas and oil reserves, and they appear ripe for the picking. The “big three,” and some lesser nations that will join them, are having the “hook” set, just as God said it would be. Ezekiel 38:4; “And I will put hooksinto your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen; all of them clothed in full armor; a great host; all of them with buckler and shield, wielding swords.” This will be the attack on Israel by what would appear to be overwhelming forces that, under normal circumstances, would be able to wipe Israel out in no time at all. However,the Heavenly Father has other plans, and when the dust settles, it will be obvious that He, not Israel, defeated the masses that attacked them. Ezekiel 39 describes the destruction, and at the end of the conflict, all Israel will know that the Lord God Jehovahprotected them. The tribulation will still take place, and before it’s over, the Jews will be severely persecuted. However, the surviving remnant will enter the Millennial reign under the guidance of Jesus Himself. Sadly, even with Jesus on the throne at Jerusalem, there will still be those who will turn away from Him during that 1,000 years. The final conflict will take place at theend, and Jesus will put it down with just a word from His mouth. Matthew 24:43-44 and Luke 12:39-40 say that if the homeowner knew what day and hour the thief was coming, he would have been ready at that time. Jesus went on to say thatwe need to be ready for the “Son of Man” to come at an hour we do not expect. Human nature being as it is, if we knew for certain the moment that we would die or the moment the Rapture was to take place, many would wait right up to the last hour to call outto be saved. This is why it’s obvious that Jesus said we must be ready; right now. No one knows for certain when they will take their last breath here. God provided many examples in His word about people who were unprepared. He also gives us the formulato follow so that we are constantly ready to leave here and be with Jesus. More about this further on. Through Satan’s influence, false prophets are twisting God’s word to fulfill his evil plan to pull as many away from the Savior as possible. Saying that there’s plenty oftime, or that we all worship the same god, or it really isn’t necessary to have Jesus in our lives are some of his most popular lies. How about, there’s really no such thing as hell, and even so, a loving God would not send anyone there. Before the creationof this earth, Lucifer went against the Father because of destructive self-pride and even had about 1/3 of the angels follow him (Revelation 12:4). Today, there are more people that follow Satan than follow Jesus, which doesn’t surprise the Lord at all (Matthew 7:13-14). For Satan and his angels, or demons, there isno pathway to forgiveness. Jesus’ sacrifice was for all humans, as Satan and his demons had already been in the presence of the Lord God. They had witnessed His majesty and glory yet turned against Him anyway (Isaiah 14:12-14; Ezekiel 28:13-19; Revelation12:7-9; Jude 1:6; and others). Hell was prepared specifically for Satan and his fallen angels, as stated in Matthew 25:41. Having worked in several hospitals and then a number of years in law enforcement, I witnessed the deaths of hundreds of people of all ages and under a variety of circumstances.Some had terminal illnesses, yet even then, they weren’t sure exactly when they would die. More than a majority were people who started out a day not realizing it would be their last one here. If they could, they would most likely tell you they believed theyhad more time. God knows the exact moment each of us will depart from this planet. As stated, He gave us ample signs of what would be happening at the end of this age. To prepare us, Hehas given us a great outline that would help us to be ready. First and foremost, He knows we are all sinners, yet He loves us anyway (Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; John 3:16-18). He sent a part of Himself, Jesus, to be the perfect sacrificethat would be able to cover our sins. There is no way possible that any other human could provide a pathway to the Father that would be acceptable. Jesus is the only way, as stated in John 14:6, Acts 4:12, and Romans 5:8. We can do no works nor pay any price for our Salvation, as it’s provided by the Grace of our Saviorand through the Mercy of our Father (Ephesians 2:8-9). For the formula mentioned earlier, we have the ABCs of Salvation given in Romans 10:9-13. A – Admit we’re all sinners and cannot save ourselves. B – Believe and have faith that Jesus’ gift at Calvary was made for all who will receive and accept Him as their Savior. He died for us and was raised by God to conquersin and death for us once and for all. C – Confess we’re sinners, and call out to Him and ask for forgiveness and to save us. Verse 13 says, “All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” That’s an absolute promise from our Heavenly Father. He also says in numerous places that all who reject His Son will end up in the Lake of Fire after attending the White Throne Judgment of Revelation 20:11-15. Those thatwill already be in hell are the antichrist and false prophet (Revelation 19:20); then, 1,000 years later, Satan will join them (Revelation 20:10). There will be no pardons given; no forgiveness available for all who are at the Great White Throne. That judgmentis final, and the sentence of hell is forever. And, no, God will not have sent anyone there other than Satan and the demons. It will be a choice that was made by every soul that will be in that long line. God would rather have all to repent and seek forgiveness from Jesus and spend eternity in Heaven (2 Peter 3:9). He will force no one, as that wouldn’t be true love. Allwho go through the Judgments of Jesus will receive or lose rewards for what they did while here, yet their outcome will still be forever with the Savior, in their forever Home prepared by Him (John 14:1-3). And now, a plea from one who has witnessed so many souls depart from their earthly bodies. Please, don’t wait another minute without Jesus in your life. Call out to Himand ask His forgiveness and to save you right now. An hour from now could be too late. He’s waiting and will accept all who put their faith and trust in Him. The event of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 is just about here right now. It could be any second. This would be the Father keeping His promise to preventall true believers in His Son from going through the Wrath/Tribulation. Once it starts, the events that will take place will be more terrible than has ever been on this earth. Your eternity – your choice. Come, Lord Jesus! "Using your photograph, this Technology, may create Biometric Information, and collect, store, and use Biometric Information from such photographs." In February, Amazon announced plans to install the AI-powered four-lens cameras, made by the tech company Netradyne, in all of its Amazon-branded delivery vans. The company says cameras are being used to improve "safety" and the "quality of the delivery experience." But as Thomson Reuters reported earlier this month, some drivers are quitting their jobs because of privacy concerns. The Netradyne cameras are able to sense when a driver yawns, appears distracted, or isn't wearing a seatbelt, according to a product description, and monitor drivers' bodyand facial movements. The legislation allows the government to force all new arrivals from abroad or from specific countries to choose between quarantining at home or in a state-run hotel… Those who choose to quarantine at home must wear electronic tracking bracelets to ensure their compliance. People who refuse to wear the bracelets will be forced to quarantineat a state-run hotel for two weeks… According to the bill, the tracking operation will be carried out by SuperCom, a private company hired by the Israeli Ministry of Health. The information collected by theoperation will be stored in servers owned by the government but maintained by designated private corporations. The data collected will supposedly be deleted at the end of the quarantine period—as long as there are no reported infractions—or in no longer than 30 days. Daily Pass will gather data and share it with LAUSD collaborators Daily Pass generates a unique QR code each day for each student and staff member. This code authorizes entry to a specific Los Angeles Unified location. To gain entry toclass, each individual should have a negative test result for COVID-19, show no symptoms and have a temperature under 100 degrees. School officials stated that data gathered by the app will be reported as required to health authorities. In addition, anonymized Daily Pass data will be used by the LAUSD’sresearch and healthcare collaborators “to provide insights and strategies” to implement. These partners are Stanford University, the University of California, Los Angeles, Johns Hopkins University, Anthem Blue Cross, Healthnet and Cedars Sinai. The app will also be used by the LAUSD’s school-based vaccination program to register and schedule appointments, track vaccine supply, perform check-in and data capture,sort high-risk individuals, offer waitlists for low-risk individuals as well as provide dashboards for administrators and staff to view data… App’s data gathering raises questions While the LAUSD states that the Daily Pass app is being deployed for health and safety reasons, others have raised flag about the amount of data it’s collecting. According to John Whitehead, constitutional law attorney and founder of The Rutherford Institute, parents should be asking why the app is gathering all this data. Breitbart tagged the Pope’s call for the new world order as the Great Reset except that the pontiff’s moves away from the culture of inclusiveness that works towards the building of a green economy with focus on financial speculation, fossil fuels, andmilitary build-up. The noose is tightening around the necks of people of this judgment-bound planet. The man considered the top leader of all of Christendom, the RomanCatholic pope, is all in for creation of a changed world order. It is a reminder of the man who will head up the religious arm of that new world order, the false prophet of Revelation chapter 13. The crisis that will complete the movement into global gulag will arrive when that one great escape becomes instantaneously available. That will be the Rapture of all believersin the Lord Jesus Christ for their personal salvation. All who are left behind to face the false prophet and his partner, Antichrist, will experience the tightening of this duo’s evil to an excruciating extent never sufferedby any people in human history. To gain some understanding of it, it’s important to remember a very important rule: God is always right. That seems simple enough,but people tend to look at the future in terms of the present. George Washington could never have imagined weapons of today, so would have no idea how to interpret “And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have foughtagainst Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.” Zechariah 14:12. Is this referring to a nuclear explosion? We also forgetthat God is all powerful. For instance, the prophet Isaiah said “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” Isaiah 7:14. Because they didn’t believe God’s word, peoplewho should have known better interpreted this as meaning God’s sign would be a young woman giving birth to the Messiah. Only women give birth and many are young, so nothing would be unusual about it. Mary, the mother of Jesus, was a young virgin when she gavebirth to the Messiah. Now, that’s a sign! Although the Pharisees missed the Messiah, many other prophecies proved that Jesus was the long-expected Messiah . The men who should have recognized the Messiah, crucified Him instead. That also fulfilled prophecy. John the Baptist knew who Jesus was. In fact, John fulfilled prophecy. The book of Isaiah contains many warnings to the people of Israel to return to the Lord or face judgment.It also contains many prophecies of comfort. One of those is found in Isaiah chapter 40. Israel is God’s chosen nation, but they spent many years ignoring Him and disobeying Him. The time had come for judgment and Isaiah had told of the coming Babylonian captivity.In spite of that, Isaiah was directed to speak of comfort to this rebellious nation. This would be a future comfort when the Messiah is finally accepted. “Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her,that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD’S hand double for all her sins.” Isaiah 40:1-2. Israel needs to stop fighting God for this to be fulfilled. One day soon they will stop their rebellion. Isaiahalso said someone would announce the arrival of the King. “The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.” Isaiah 40:3. John the Baptist announced the Messiah and he calledIsrael to repentance. That would clear the way for the King of kings. The Jewish leaders knew of John’s ministry and sent “priests and Levites” to ask who he was. They wanted to know if he was the long-awaited Messiah. “And he confessed, and denied not; butconfessed, I am not the Christ.” John 1:20. These men who read Scripture were looking for the Messiah, but were looking in the wrong place. “Then said they unto him, Who art thou? That we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias. And they which were sent were of the Pharisees.” John 1:22-24. They should have paid attention to John’s words and known he was the fulfillmentof a prophecy and that meant the Messiah would soon be made known. There were many more signs that Jesus was the Messiah and if the religious leaders had believed prophecy as God breathed it to the prophets of old, they would have recognizedthat Jesus Christ was the one they were looking for. An interesting prophecy is found in Daniel. It describes 70 weeks of years. Had the Pharisees paid attention to this prophecy they would have known exactly the day that the Messiah would ride into Jerusalem.Daniel was young when he was taken captive by the Babylonians when they captured Jerusalem. Although taken to a very pagan nation, Daniel never forgot that he was Jewish and first and foremost served God Almighty. He was given a prophecy of when the Messiahwould appear. “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of the sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision andprophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again,and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and untothe end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate,even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” Daniel 9:24-27. Daniel was Jewish and this prophecy is about “thy people” and “thy holy city”. This isn’t about Gentiles or Christians. The 70 weeks prophecy is about Israel. When was the decree to restore and build Jerusalem issued? When the Babylonians conquered Judah, they had destroyed Jerusalem and the temple. They took many captives, butGod had told Jeremiah the captivity would only last 70 years. When it was over, some returned to Jerusalem, but some stayed in Babylon. Time passed and when Artaxerxes had been king for 20 years, Nehemiah, cup bearer to the king, felt driven to return to Jerusalemand rebuild it. Many years after Daniel was given the prophecy, Artaxerxes issued the decree to rebuild. According to Daniel’s prophecy, 483 years would pass from that decree until the Messiah appeared. People who are smarter than me, Sir Robert Anderson forinstance, have calculated the time from when Artaxerxes issued the decree to rebuild Jerusalem to the day Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, as 483 years. The prophet Zechariah spoke of the Triumphant entry into Jerusalem. “Rejoice greatly, O daughterof Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.” Zechariah 9:9. The people cheered and sang from Psalm 118 “And the multitudesthat went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.” Matthew 21:9. The people praised their Messiah, but Jesus knew the Pharisees hadn’t paid attentionto prophecy; He grieved over their ignorance. “And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! But now they are hid from thine eyes.For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, and shall lay thee even with the ground and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone uponanother; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.” Luke 19:41-44. Prophecy had been very clear that these events would happen, but the Pharisees wouldn’t believe God’s word was being fulfilled and that Jesus was the Messiah. Because of their ignorance,the nation of Israel would face judgment. Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem fulfilled Zechariah 9:9. “All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, Tell ye the daughter of Sion,Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.” Matthew 21:4-5. Had the Pharisees believed God’s word, they would have known that they were watching prophecy being fulfilled. God knew they wouldn’t accept Jesusas the Messiah, and more prophecy describes the horrible things they did to Him. Daniel’s prophecy says that Messiah would be cut off…killed. He was. One of the men who had followed Jesus and was considered a disciple, betrayed Him. Jesus knew that Judas wasthe traitor. “When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.” John 13:21. During this final gathering with His disciples, they shared a last supper, and then Judaswent off to betray Jesus. This betrayal fulfilled prophecy. “Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.” Psalm 41:9. Judas fulfilled the prophecy in this Psalm, but he also fulfilled onein Zechariah. “And I said unto them, if ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.” Zechariah 11:12. Brothers and sisters, we need to take warning from this. Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 piecesof silver, but let’s look to our own hearts. Every time we follow the way of the world rather than the way of our Lord, we betray Him. Are you filled with pride? Do you anger easily, feel that other people are beneath you, or gossip? Jesus said to love oneanother, and demonstrated that love by washing Judas’ feet even though He knew Judas would soon betray Him. Jesus knows that you’ll betray His love for you when you behave like the world dictates, but He loves you anyway and is willing to forgive you. Prophecy continued to be fulfilled. Judas led the band of scoundrels to arrest Jesus, but then regretted his actions because he had betrayed an innocent Man. He threw thesilver into the temple, and the Pharisees bought a “potter’s field” in which to bury strangers, fulfilling Zechariah 11:13. Jesus was arrested and tortured. He was tried by both the Jewish leaders and by the Gentiles. No one person or ethnic group can be blamed.The prophet Isaiah gives graphic detail of the torture. “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him: and with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5. Isaiah said that He would belead as a lamb to the slaughter and remain silent (Isaiah 53:7), he was “…cut off out of the land of the living for the transgression of my people was he stricken.” Isaiah 53:8b. He made his grave with the wicked and the rich (Isaiah 53:9) and Jesus was buriedin a rich man’s tomb. Psalm 22 also describes the crucifixion. “I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels. My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth tomy jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.” Psalm 22:14-15. This Psalm seems as if it’s an eyewitness account of Jesus on the cross. I’ve just mentioned a few of the prophecies about Jesus’ life among men and His crucifixion. Fulfilled prophecy proves we can believe God, but many prophecies are yet tobe fulfilled. When Daniel was given the 70-week prophecy, it says Messiah would be cut off (Daniel 9:26). When that happened, there was a “pause” in the prophetic timeline. This pause is where we are today. We live in the age of grace. If anyone today is convictedof their sin, they can turn to Jesus in repentance and accept His death, burial, and resurrection for salvation. “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part ishappened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.” Romans 11:25. People will continue to come to Jesus until the “fulness of the Gentiles be come in”. At that time, Christians will be called home in the Harpazō – the Rapture. The pre-trib rapturewill fulfill prophecy. When that happens, the world will face tribulation like never seen before; God’s word says so. Many prophecies cover this time period and it would be wise for you to study them. We are very close to the Rapture and many things are swiftlyfalling into place. The books of Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Zechariah contain prophecies of the end times. Jesus told of the end times and Revelation, beginning in chapter 6, tells what will happen after the Rapture. The stage is being set, and if you have understandingof prophecy, you will be listening for the call to “Come up hither”. It’s easy to look back in time and see the ignorance of the Pharisees, but many people today are just as ignorant of prophecy. Many of those that reach out for help are absolutely desperate, because often the torment caused by the demons is almost unbearable. Unfortunately, themovies, television shows, books and video games that draw so many of our young people to the world of the occult just keep getting even darker and even more “realistic”. So it is quite likely that the surge in demonic activity in our society will only continueto escalate. Of course a lot of people out there never spend too much time thinking about such things because they cannot see into that realm. But once in a while, all of us have the opportunity to get a glimpse into what is happening on the other side. For example, a grandmother named Tory McKenzie recently set up a motion-activated camera to try to determine what was causing her tw0-year-old granddaughter so much distressduring the night. It turns out that the camera did capture an image of what her two-year-old granddaughter was seeing, and when she saw what it was Tory McKenzie completely freaked out… Tory McKenzie set up a motion-activated camera at her son’s house after complaints his two-year-old daughter Amber McKenzie was talking to something unseen in the middleof the night. The 41-year-old checked her camera’s app four days later to find a bone-chilling image of a figure standing inches away from the sleeping tot and her seven-month-old brotherMichael McKenzie, with ‘a horn on its head and long claws’. In a desperate attempt to get it to leave, Tory McKenzie started “burning oils”, but that only stirred up the creature even more… When she tried to rid the house, which was hers but is now owned by her son, of the ‘evil presence’ by burning oils, she claims cabinets and curtains opened and closed andmusic began to play by itself. These things are very real, and as incidents become increasingly common throughout our society even the mainstream media is starting to pay attention. In fact, a few years ago the Washington Post actually featured a guest article by a psychiatrist about his experiences with demonic possession… Assaults upon individuals are classified either as “demonic possessions” or as the slightly more common but less intense attacks usually called “oppressions.” A possessedindividual may suddenly, in a type of trance, voice statements of astonishing venom and contempt for religion, while understanding and speaking various foreign languages previously unknown to them. The subject might also exhibit enormous strength or even theextraordinarily rare phenomenon of levitation. (I have not witnessed a levitation myself, but half a dozen people I work with vow that they’ve seen it in the course of their exorcisms.) He or she might demonstrate “hidden knowledge” of all sorts of things — like how a stranger’s loved ones died, what secret sins she has committed, even where people are at a given moment. These are skills that cannot be explained except by special psychic or preternatural ability. Of course many others have reported witnessing similar things. Just consider this quote from a Catholic priest named Vince Lampert… “I’ve seen levitation, eyes rolled to the back of the head, foaming at the mouth, people falling on the floor and slither like a snake across the ground,” Lampert said. “Speaking languages otherwise unknown to an individual, exhibiting superhuman strength.” What would you do if you suddenly saw someone levitate or start slithering around on the ground like a snake as they speak in Latin? Another exorcist named James Cloud that has “performed hundreds of exorcisms” says that many people willingly open up doors to dark spirits… He said drugs, ouija boards and a whole host of dark materials on the internet can open you up to dark spirits. “As the years go by, the cases are getting darker.” This is just one of the reasons why I encourage my readers to be very careful about what “entertainment” they bring into their homes. As a teenager, Jenny Weaver was fascinated by the witchcraft that she saw practiced in a popular movie, and pretty soon she was deeply immersed in the occult… Feeling powerless and unloved, Jenny started cutting and smoking pot. Then she saw a movie about teen witches that showed her a way to take charge of her life. Soon, shewas pouring over books about witchcraft, Wicca, and the occult, and trying spells with her friends. “Wiccan religion is, ‘Do what you want, but do no one any harm.’” says Jenny. “It’s kind of like, ‘Oh, it’s the good witch.’ I felt like I had power,” says Jenny. “And,so, I’m looking at this like, ‘Oh, this is the most amazing thing ever.’” Unfortunately for Weaver, the fun did not last for very long. Pretty soon, the torment from the demon spirits that she had invited to be around her became quite nightmarish… “You would feel demon spirits literally walking by you like a human being was walking by you,” says Jenny. “Touching you. Scraping the wall. It went from, ‘Oh, this is gonnabe really fun,’” says Jenny, “into, ‘I’m gonna choke you out until you die. I’m gonna take your life.’ All the time. Constantly tormented.” This sort of thing is far more common than most of us would like to admit. In fact, many “mental health disorders” actually have a spiritual cause, and some mainstream scientists are starting to figure this out. For instance, M. Kemal Irmak just had a paper published in the Journal of Religion and Health that explored the link between schizophrenia and demonic possession… As seen above, there exist similarities between the clinical symptoms of schizophrenia and demonic possession. Common symptoms in schizophrenia and demonic possession suchas hallucinations and delusions may be a result of the fact that demons in the vicinity of the brain may form the symptoms of schizophrenia. Delusions of schizophrenia such as “My feelings and movements are controlled by others in a certain way” and “Theyput thoughts in my head that are not mine” may be thoughts that stem from the effects of demons on the brain. In schizophrenia, the hallucination may be an auditory input also derived from demons, and the patient may hear these inputs not audible to the observer.The hallucination in schizophrenia may therefore be an illusion—a false interpretation of a real sensory image formed by demons. This input seems to be construed by the patient as “bad things,” reflecting the operation of the nervous system on the poorly structuredsensory input to form an acceptable percept. On the other hand, auditory hallucinations expressed as voices arguing with one another and talking to the patient in the third person may be a result of the presence of more than one demon in the body. (p. 776) So what should people do if they think that they have opened a door to demonic spirits? Well, Jenny Weaver says that she finally got free when someone led her in a prayer to renounce witchcraft… “I would say, ‘I renounce,’ and if I would try to say it at first, it was like ‘Wwww,’ and they wouldn’t let me,” says Jenny. “It was like my mouth was—I couldn’t even getthe words, and they would say, ‘Rrrr, we’re not—we’re not leaving, no.’ And they would curse and spit,” says Jenny. “It was very, very, very crazy.” Finally… “I knew there was a release,” says Jenny. “I could tell, I could feel it. I knew. I was like, ‘Okay, I’m free. They’re gone. They’re gone.’ And I was just, ‘Thank you, Jesus.Thank you, Jesus,’” says Jenny. As we get even deeper into the end times, supernatural manifestations will become increasingly common. This ancient Jewish tradition is found in the Bible (Exodus 12, Leviticus 23) as it pertains to the departure of the children of Israel from Egyptian captivity and the journey to the Promise Land throughthe wilderness wanderings. From one family to the next, one country to the next, and across the spectrum of Jewish religious practice, Passover is celebrated religiously, traditionally and creatively,and yet some things never change. I remember the first few Passovers I attended in France over 50 years ago. Much was happening in front of my eyes as I sat bewildered and overwhelmed by the various elementswe touched, smelled and ate. Much of what was happening, punctuated by prayers, storytelling and songs, was very foreign to me. All the ancient traditions of our forefathers were being reenacted around the table with many parts of them remaining obscurelyunknown – even to the leader of the Seder. It was beautiful and sad at the same time. Could the Passover Seder have a deeper meaning than what is taught on the surface in a Jewish home? I am not speaking of a mystical meaning that only the most enlightenedspiritual people could grasp, but could there be a prophetic meaning within the Feast of Passover for people through the ages and especially today? I believe there is, and I also believe that it isn’t until we unpack the prophetic meaning of Passover thatwe can truly appreciate the full, rich message of provision and redemption God is trying to share with us throughout the entire Bible. Our God is a God of order (Deuteronomy 7; Proverbs 7, and we can really appreciate that aspect of Him as we navigate through the different steps of the Seder; much of themhaving remained untouched throughout the ages and around the world. All Jewish people used a booklet that contains the order of the service (seder means “order” in Hebrew), and helps us to move forward with the celebration, all the way to the final “La ShanaHaba B’Yerusalaim! “Next year in Jerusalem.” The booklet is known as a Haggadah, meaning the “story” or the “telling”. At first glance, the many steps of the Passover Seder take us through the story of redemption from slavery in Egypt, provision and protection through the wilderness wanderingsand blessings in the abundant Promise Land. The original requirements, as found in Exodus 12, were pretty basic. Our ancestors were to acquire a lamb, apply its blood on the doorposts of their homes, stay inside as the destroyer passed through their villages.The lamb was roasted and consumed, with bitter herbs, unleavened bread and four cups of the fruit of the vine were drunk throughout the evening. Much was added by way of traditions over the years, and the Haggadah was born to guide Jewish families through the rich celebration of redemption. What if the Passover wasa type of something or someone greater than the sacrificial lamb and various elements? Let us go through the main parts of the Seder and discover how they are connected and how they all point to a specific part in the redemptive career of Yeshua the Messiah. Bedikath Chametz (Search for the Leaven): Before Passover cantake place, a Jewish home must undergo a thorough search for anything containing leaven, and it must be cleansed of it all (Exodus 12:19-20Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)). Interestingly enough, when used symbolically, leaven in the Bible representssin (1 Corinthians 5:6-8Open in Logos Bible Software (if available), 11:28Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)). Brechat Haner (Blessing over the Candles): The official startingpoint of the Seder is the lighting of the Passover candles to separate the mundane from the holy, much like what takes place every Friday night for Shabbat. It is the role of the woman to light the candles, say a prayer and invite the presence of God intothe room. The Kiddush (Cup of Blessing): The first cup of Passover, orkiddush or “Cup of Sanctification” is filed to the point of overflowing (a symbol of joy in Judaism). It is one of four cups based on Exodus 9:6-7Open in Logos Bible Software (if available). We recite a prayer and drink the cup leaning to the left, sittingon pillows for comfort to symbolize that we are no longer slaves. Incidentally, no one really knows why we lean to the left. The Urchatz (First Handwashing): One of two hand washings nowtakes place, where young children go around the table with a pitcher, basin and towel to ceremonially wash the hands of all guests, starting with the leader of the Seder. This symbolic handwashing takes us back to the cleansing of the priest and Levites atthe Temple. This is the time that Yeshua chose to wash the feet of all the disciples (including Judas Iscariot) as He knelt down in a powerful display of humility and servanthood (John 13:1-11Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)). The Karpas (The Parsley): Now comes the time to grab a sprigof parsley, dip it in very salty water and eat it after a prayer is recited. The parsley is known as a symbol of the green of springtime (Passover season) and the saltwater symbolizes the tears shed in Egypt and possibly the water of the Red Sea. Looking atExodus 12:21-22Open in Logos Bible Software (if available), the parsley more powerfully symbolizes the hyssop used to dip in the basin filled with the blood of the lamb and to apply on the doorpost for protection. Believers in Yeshua–The Lamb of God– havesymbolically applied His shed blood on the doorpost of their own heart so that when the time comes for judgment of all mankind, we will be passed over. The Yachutz (Breaking of the Middle Matzah): At the onset ofthe Seder, three sheets of Matzah are carefully placed in a pouch (matzotash) divided into three compartments. Now comes the time to take the middle matzah, break it in half, place one half back in the matzotash and wrap the other half carefully in a whitelinen napkin. We then proceed to hide it in the room and forget about it until a later time when we send children hunting for it. More on the middle matzo later. The Maggid (The Retelling of the Story of the Exodus): Guestsaround the table take turns in retelling the story of the Jewish exodus by reading various passages in the Bible. Exodus 12:1-13Open in Logos Bible Software (if available) being the main passage. Some of Psalms are also read throughout the evening (Psalm 113-118,the Great Hallel) as they were in the days of Yeshua and before. Ma-Nishtanah (The Four Questions): The youngest child able todo so, rises and asks four traditional questions about why we eat matza, why we eat bitter herbs, why we dip our food and why we lean as we drink the cups. The leader explains why. The four questions are traditionally done in a song reminding us of the reasonswhy this night is so different from all the other nights. It is usually followed by the story of the four different sons to whom Jewish fathers retold the Passover story, symbolizing four different kinds of people (wise, wicked, innocent and simple-minded.) The Makkot (The Second Cup or Cup of Plagues): Remembering thata full cup is a cup of joy and since we shouldn’t rejoice over the fate of our enemies (Deuteronomy 32:35Open in Logos Bible Software (if available); Matthew 5:43-48Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)), a tradition was developed where we fill the cupand then take a drop out with a spoon for each of the ten plagues, thus symbolically reducing the cup and making it one we won’t rejoice over. This second cup is then placed back on the table to be consumed later, slightly before the dinner is served. Dayenu (It would have been Enough): Time to be creative andsing the Dayenu. This is a joyous song describing all the things that God did for His chosen people and how a couple of miracles would have been enough, but He kept adding many more. The Rachatz (Second Hand Washing): Once again, the guests areinvited to do another symbolic handwashing. The Maror (The Bitter Herbs): As we remember how bitter ourlives were made during the slavery in Egypt, we all dip a piece of matzah in the bitter herbs (usually grated horseradish) and that makes us cringe and even shed a tear from the strong taste. It also reminds us, believers, of the time we were slaves to sinbefore Messiah Yeshua redeemed us The Korekh (Bitter Herbs with Sweet Mixture): We all then breaktwo small pieces of matzah from the matzotash and put bitter herbs on one side, charoset or “sweet mixture” on the other and close it in a small sandwich. The sweet mixture is overly sweet to overpower the bitterness of the maror and remind us of the sweetnessof redemption and dwelling in the Promise land. It also reminds us believers of the sweetness of redemption from our sins by the sacrificial death and resurrection of Yeshua the Lamb of God (John 1:29Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)). The Shulchan Orech (The Set Table): Finally, comes the timefor a festive dinner for the whole family. Everyone sets their haggadot aside and rejoices in the fellowship and sharing of a copious dinner (made without yeast). After dinner is finished, the second liturgical part of the Passover celebration takes place. It is definitely the time when all the parts of the Seder come together, andthis is also the time when Yeshua chose to institute a very important ritual that continues to take place to this day. As we will see, Passover is both a Jewish tradition and an event filled with prophetic significance. This will be the topic of Passover Part 2, published next week. It is His…and Heis perfect…and heaven is perfect. There is only God’sgoodness and His pure love.That makes it a problem forus…because we sin. It is our heritage. By Hal Lindsey When racial dissention enters a debate, it deepens divides and inflames passions. That makes a good reason to use racially charged language only whenwe are certain that it applies. Some things are clearly racial in nature, and that’s how we should address them. But today, race baiting has become common practice, especially in media, academia, and politics. This harms society and is destructive to individuals. Our schools teach children to be ever watchful for “microaggressions.” But no child should be saddled with such a burden. I am not discounting the realityof microaggressions. They certainly happen. But by their nature, they are hidden… camouflaged. Teaching people to look for hidden motives behind everything done by those of other ethnicities incites frustration, anger, and paranoia. We shouldn’t do that toanyone — especially kids. It is a recipe for unhappiness and/or failure. And we want our children — all of our children — to succeed and follow paths of joy. We should always speak out against racism. But because that word carries a powerful punch, some are tempted to use it against anything they dislike.For instance, the US Senate’s filibuster rules have lately been called racist. Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren explains, “The filibuster has deep roots in racism.” She is referring to racist senators who once used the filibuster to stop civil rights legislation. But past racists also ate chicken and breathed air.Should we then abstain from chicken and oxygen? It’s fine to say that you disagree with the rules regarding filibusters. Just don’t arbitrarily label such rules as racist. To do so hurts everyone. Jesus warned that racial conflict would increase dramatically shortly before His second coming. In Matthew 24:7, He said that in the last days, “Nationwill rise against nation.” If you’ve studied Bible prophecy, you probably know that the word translated “nation,” is the Greek word “ethnos.” Ethnos has to do with races and tribes — “people groups” in today’s vernacular. In other words, Jesus foretold theera of identity politics. But even students of Bible prophecy may not understand that “ethnos” carries an added connotation. In the New Testament, every time Jesus used “ethnos,” He referred to people groups who were not yet believers. In other words, if you are a follower of Jesus, this prophecy does not have to include you. Christians believe Acts 17:24. “He [God] made from one, every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth.” Some of the ancient manuscriptssay, “from one blood.” Some omit the word blood. But in either case, this verse insists on the fundamental value of every person on earth. Ephesians 2:11-18 speaks of Jews and Gentiles being made one in Christ Jesus. But that’s not just true of Jews and Gentiles. Believers of all racialgroups — Asians, Blacks, Latinos, whites, etc. — have been made one in Christ. People groups of the world are splitting at a thousand different seams. But it doesn’t have to happen to us. We are to be characterized by love. In John 13:35, Jesus said, “By thisall men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” We used to call America a melting pot. Today, almost every industrialized nation can be described the same way. As Christians live out the command ofChrist regarding love, we serve as salt and light for the rest of humanity as long as we are here. Mice in the streets. Thousands upon thousands of mice in the barn, pooing so much it takes six hours to clean up their waste. These are scenes from Queensland and New South Wales, Australia, where an out-of-control mouse infestation is making life miserable for farmers, grocers and other citizensof the eastern Australian states. Needless to say, it isn’t just poop that is the problem. At this point, many farmers in Australia “have already lost entire grain harvests to the rampaging mice”… Some farmers have already lost entire grain harvests to the rampaging mice, according to local media reports, while hotels have had to close because they can’t keep thecritters out of the rooms. Staff at a grocery store in a small town northwest of Sydney reported catching as many as 600 mice a night. #2 Large Earthquakes According to the USGS, usually we get about 15 earthquakes of magnitude 7.0 or greater each year… According to long-term records (since about 1900), we expect about 16 major earthquakes in any given year. That includes 15 earthquakes in the magnitude 7 range and oneearthquake magnitude 8.0 or greater. So far in 2021, we have already had 7 that are magnitude 7.0 or greater, and that includes a magnitude 7.0 earthquake that just shook Japan… A 7.0 preliminary magnitude earthquake has struck Japan off the coast of Ishinomaki, a city located just 65 miles (104 km) from Fukushima, the site of a devastating 9.0magnitude quake 10 years ago. Latest information from USGS shows the earthquake has a depth of 54 kilometers (34 miles). CNN teams in Tokyo felt the tremor. #3 Volcanoes Are Roaring To Life All Over The Globe According to Volcano Discovery, 29 volcanoes around the planet are currently erupting right now, and that includes a volcano in Iceland that had been dormant for hundredsof years… The Fagradals Mountain volcano in southwest Iceland had been dormant for 6,000 years. But on Friday night, following weeks of earthquakes in the area, the volcano came tolife. The eruption is the first that the Reykjanes Peninsula, where the volcano is located, has experienced in 781 years. Video of the eruption show the bright lava oozing out of the earth, lighting up an otherwise stark dark night. #4 The “Megadrought” In The Southwestern United States Earlier this month, I wrote an entire article about the megadrought in the Southwest entitled “You Were Warned That Dust Bowl Conditions Would Return, And Now It Has Happened”. Well, this drought just continues to get even worse. In fact, NBC News is telling us that there is “little hope for relief” any time soon… With nearly two-thirds of the United States abnormally dry or worse, the government’s spring forecast offers little hope for relief, especially in the West where a devastatingmegadrought has taken root and worsened. Weather service and agriculture officials warned of possible water use cutbacks in California and the Southwest, increased wildfires, low levels in key reservoirs such asLake Mead and Lake Powell and damage to wheat crops. #5 Armies Of Locusts In Africa And The Middle East In 2020, giant armies of locusts the size of major cites relentlessly marched across parts of Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Millions of farmers had their crops wipedout, and experts told us that it was unlike anything they had ever seen before. That was only supposed to be a one year plague, but now it is happening again… A single locust swarm can contain up to 80 million locusts and fly 30 to 80 miles in one day depending on the wind. By the time, spraying planes arrived at the WhatsAppcoordinates the next day, it was often too late. The locusts had warmed up in the morning sun and moved off into the wilderness, laying millions of eggs. Every day, each locust can eat its weight in vegetation daily andmultiplies twenty-fold every three months. A swarm can easily eat as much food as 35,000 people in a single day and multiple two dozen times in three months. #6 H5N8 Bird Flu In Russia When cases of H5N8 bird flu started to pop up in Russia, many experts started to become extremely concerned that it could start being transmitted from human to human. Because if it starts spreading widely among humans, the percentage of victims that will die will be far higher than for COVID. Unfortunately, one of the top experts in Russia says that there is “a fairly high degree of probability” that it is now being passed from one person to another… A mutating strain of bird flu that has emerged in Russia has “a fairly high degree of probability” of human-to-human transmission, the head of the country’s health watchdogwarned in a report. Anna Popova, who heads Rospotrebnadzor, made the worrying prediction almost a month after scientists detected the first case of H5N8 transmission to humans at a southernRussia poultry farm, the Moscow Times reported. #7 The COVID Pandemic Even though people are being vaccinated at a feverish pace all over the globe, the number of confirmed cases in Brazil is higher than ever before and experts are tellingus that a “fourth wave” has begun in Europe. Could it be possible that the vaccines are not going to be the “saviors” that so many people were anticipating? At this point, more than 2.7 million victims have already died from COVID, and more are passing away every single day. But even though so many bad things have already happened, if you are familiar with my new book then you already know that I believe that what is on the horizon is goingto be much worse. We live at a time when everything that can be shaken will be shaken, and what we have experienced so far is just the beginning. Passover: Prophetic Fulfillment or Ancient Jewish Tradition? – Part 2 – Olivier Melnick - https://www.newantisemitism.com/antisemitism/passover-prophetic-fulfillment-or-ancient-jewish-tradition-part-2 Last week, we looked at the first part of the Passover Seder all the way to the family meal. As I mentioned, God being a God of order (Deuteronomy 7:9; Proverbs 7:9), wecan fully appreciate that aspect of Him as we navigate through the different steps of the Passover Seder – much of which has remained untouched throughout the ages and around the world. Now, we continue with the celebration, all the way to the final “La ShanaHaba B’Yerusalaim! “Next year in Jerusalem.” The many steps of the Passover Seder take us through the story of redemption from slavery in Egypt, provision and protection through the wilderness wanderings and blessingsin the abundant Promised Land. It also shows believers that Passover transcends ages, generations and people. For us, modern-day disciples of Yeshua, Passover takes on a much deeper meaning of redemption from slavery to sin and real freedom in Messiah. Something took place during the second part of the Passover that, to this day, would remain a tradition for believers around the world. In the last liturgical part of thePassover, everything we were exposed to up to now falls into place and forms a beautiful message of hope. So, let us look at the last part of the Seder and particularly what happened in the Upper Room 2,000 years ago between Yeshua and His disciples afterthey had enjoyed the Shulchan Orech, or “set table”. Tzaphun (Eating of the Afikomen): According to Jewish tradition, this is the first thing that takes place immediately after the dinner is finished. The children are sentaround the room to hunt for the afikomen. One child will find it and proudly bring it back to the leader who unwraps it, breaks it into small pieces and gives one to each of the guests. To fully understand the rich meaning of this part of the Seder, we mustgo back to the beginning. A bag called the maztotash (matzah bag) or commonly known as the unity bag, was filled with several full squares of matzah, three to be exact. Every matzotash in use comprisesthree distinct compartments within on large bag or pouch. Each of the compartments is filled with a sheet of matzah from which we will partake at various times throughout the Seder. It is always from the middle compartment that we pull one full sheet and break it in half during the part known as the yachutz. One half is placed back into the matzotash,and the other half is wrapped into a white linen napkin of some sort and hidden in the room while the children cover their eyes. The half that is wrapped becomes known as the afikomen. The meaning of the word varies depending on who you ask. Many people believe that it means “the last piece” or “dessert”, as it is the last piece of edible food that is taken by all. Yet, others including myself, believe that the root of the word means “I have come” (Psalm 40:6-8) a meaning that is in line with the ministry of the Messiah, especially within the context of Hisredemptive career. When asked about the meaning of the three separate compartments inside the unity bag, Jewish people have various answers. Many don’t even have an explanation for this strangetri-compartment bag. Some say that the three compartments represent the Jewish patriarchs: Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. While this sounds beautiful, nobody can dogmatically affirm it, and why wouldwe break Isaac into two halves? Others see the three compartments representing the three kinds of Jewish people of ancient times: the High Priest, the Levites and the Israelites. This also sounds great but why would we break the Levites in two? Nobody reallyknows! There is one explanation that fits the picture better than all the others, and that is the one that sees the three parts of the unity bag as the three persons of the triuneGodhead: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. While I also cannot be dogmatic about that version, I am convinced that it is the best-fitting one for the matzotash. The bread is unleavened, and we know from the Bible, leaven is a symbol of sin. The breadis also pierced and striped (Isaiah 53:5) It is always the middle matzah that is broken in half, representing the broken, sacrificed body of the Son, Yeshua who died for the sins of the world. Then, according toJewish tradition, we wrap the afikomen in a white linen napkin. This continues to fit what happened to Yeshua as he was wrapped inside linen burial cloth by Joseph of Arimathea upon being taken off the cross (Matthew 27). Amazingly, Jewish customs ask us to bury the afikomen in the room and forget about it for the time being. When we hide the afikomen it corresponds to the burial of Yeshuain the tomb (Matthew 27). Now, we are on the other side of dinner, and as we eventually recover the “hidden matzah”, it is a symbol of the resurrection of Yeshua the Messiah after three days. None of the steps followed in the traditional Jewish Passover Seder were invented by Christians. They were established by Jewish people over the centuries and continue tobe celebrated in the same order at the same time during the Seder. Simply put, the Jewish tradition of the afikomen is best explained by the Triunity of God which can also be found in the Tanach if one seeks it with an open mind and a desiring heart (Isaiah48:12; 63:7). It is at that very moment in the Upper Room that Yeshua decided to institute something new for His disciples. Something that continues to this day, known as the Lord’s Table,the Lord’s Supper, or Communion. He told the disciples that the broken matzah represented His body when we read in Luke 22:19, “And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given foryou; do this in remembrance of Me.” Yet, this was only half of the story, as He immediately took the cup to finish His powerful new explanation. Ha-Geulah (The Third Cup: The Cup of Redemption): As I previouslymentioned, Passover includes four cups based on the passage in Exodus 6:6-7. They always have the same name; they always appear in the same order and same placement in the Seder. The first two, the Cup of Blessing and the Cup of Plagues are always consumedprior to the dinner, and the next two, after dinner. In Luke 22:20, we read, “And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.” This is a clear indication that Yeshua wouldhave taken the first cup after dinner or the third one, also known as the Cup of Redemption. The celebration of redemption out of slavery in Egypt into the Promised Land of Israel is still very meaningful to us Jews around the world, but to me, as a Jewishfollower of Yeshua the Messiah, it has a greater significance. It means that now I can also celebrate my redemption from the bondage of sin because of His atonement on my behalf, which included His resurrection and ascension until He returns one day in thefuture to establish the messianic kingdom. Eliyahu HaNavi (The Prophet Elijah’s Place): From the startof the Seder, a place setting is kept at the family table for Elijah. At the end of the evening, we send a child to open the front door and see if Elijah is on his way. The child returns and confirms that Elijah is not coming. The reason why we invite Elijahhas to do with his role in ushering in the Messiah (Malachi 3:1). The majority of Jewish people are still waiting for Messiah to come. If Elijah would show up, it would mean that Messiah is not far behind him. So, it is on a sad note that the Seder almostcomes to an end since Elijah hasn’t come yet. As a modern-day disciple of Yeshua, I have more hope because I believe that someone did come in the spirit and power of Elijah and ushered in Messiah Yeshua 2,000 years ago (Luke 1:16-17). The cup of Elijah wasfulfilled by Yochanan the Immerser who immersed and introduced Yeshua at the onset of His public ministry. The Hallel (The Fourth Cup: The Cup of Praise). This is the final cup that everybody drinks, and it is known as the cup of praise. Incidentally, Yeshua might not have partaken of this last cup during the Last Supperas He said, “Take this and share it among yourselves; for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes.” (Luke 22:17-18). La Shana Haba B’Yerushalaim (Next Year in Jerusalem). Finally,when all has been said, shared and consumed, the family joins in unison for the final joyous greeting La Shana Haba B’Yerushalaim. It is the tradition to wish one another that next year we will celebrate Pesach or Passover in Jerusalem. This had even a greatermeaning before the birth of Israel as a modern nation in 1948. Many people have been to Jerusalem or will visit in their lifetime, and many others never will, but one thing is guaranteed from the Word of God – those who have placedtheir trust in the death and resurrection of the Yeshua the Lamb of God, will one day be with Him in the New Jerusalem (Revelation 21). There is nothing better than celebrating Passover and recognizing that it speaks of the redemption of the children of Israel out of Egypt, but also of Yeshua’s followers’ redemption from under the bondage of sin. I have applied the blood of the Lamb of God to the doorpost of my heart and as a result, I fear not the upcoming judgment because I am certain that God will pass over me. Passover is a beautiful Jewish tradition that also has a powerful prophetic fulfillment. Please make sure God will pass over you so we can celebrate in His kingdom together. The Global Depression Of Our Lifetime Is Coming Since the 2008/2009 “Great Recession,” financial gurus of every kind predicted another major deep downturn, perhaps greater than that of 1929-33. What they have actually spoken of is the country that ‘drives away from financial cliffs,’ and mainly attributedit to the failure of Congress to raise the national debt. The trigger which causes us to break the financial cliff is the difference in these financial predictions. This is a constantly changing objective as it changes every time another trigger passes through us without causing the disaster expected. But the underlying problem is still there, that is likely to cause the financial collapse. Our economy is essentially on a very wavering scale, and it is a land never before trampled on. The fact that the US dollar is the world reserve currency is part of what has sustained our economy to this point. Virtually all international transactions in dollars are carried out. Each nation and international company around the world is forced to buydollars by this simple fact In addition to that, the Federal Reserve releases essentially thin air money as “quantitative easing.” Although the money pool needs to be increased in response to an increasing population and a growing economy, this is mainly done to support government commitments that are not taxed. This is money made up to pay for things, in other words, because there is no money for them to pay. This is what inflation is all about, not companies that charge more for their products. Businesses increase prices because they have to buy more material; in other words, they react to inflation that perpetuates the cycle in turn. Related: WhatCould Happen In One Year If The Economy Does Not Restart The Reality The truth is that every time the Federal Reserve creates more money, the value of every dollar that exists dilutes. Everydollar is essentially a percentage of our economy’s total value. As they create dollars constantly faster than economic growth, the value of the dollar is decreased. This is just so slowly happening that we can’t look at it. Surprisingly, the Fed’s quantitative easing did not, as usual, cause massive inflation. On Wall Street, which economists consider good is, we see about the only place where massive inflation is. But that doesn’t mean it’s all right. The card house will collapse sometime and possibly even earlier than anybody expects. Some economists now try to say that our national department is “too low” and that our economy can sustain much more. What they really say is that they believe that the world will support holding much more US debt, which enables the government to borrow evenmore. The Coronavirus Relief Act was perhaps the most scary event that showed how far our Government is from a limb. In one single stroke the Congress authorized the production of an additional 2.2 trillion dollars of funny money for different entities, including you and me, to try to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic from becoming a major financial catastrophe. Now that they’ve done so once, there’s nothing to stop them to do it again. What nobody seems to have found out yet. The real question is how many times will this happen, before it is the trigger not only for the US economy, but the world economy. Normally, the rest of the world’s economy remains intact when countries have a financial collapse. It promotes them and enables them to reconstruct. But when America has a hiccup in our finances, it affects the world as the largest economy in the world. It is not only the US economy but the entire world economy that is affected by the Great Depression. Similarly, in 2008/2009, the housing bubble exploded as well. When we enter the next depression, there won’t be anybody to rescue us. Thanks to us, everyone will try to bail themselves out. We have to prepare ourselves for this while we are sure that there will be another great depression, even though we don’t know when it is due. Everyone doesn’t lose their jobs and lives by a depression destroying them, everyone is affected. As a model for what we could expect in the fall of our own economic crisis, Argentina’s 1999 collapse saw inflation exceed 2000%, with peak months alone showing an inflation of 200% in one month. Wages rose by less than 250% in the same collapse. Those who made the best found their money not going anywhere and their buying power decreased greatly. Those who work in the luxury industries and those who are heavily indebted were the two most seriously affected by the collapse. Luxury products, not even to the rich, stopped selling completely. Then shut down plants and stores that sold these goods. At the same time, those who were heavily in debt couldn’t make their payments and lost everything, including their homes. Therefore, we don’t want to be part of those groups. On the other hand, people who lived off their land in the country, did good, few of them either dropped out of home or became hungry. Get A Secure Job It is time to go out of business, especially if you work in an industry where the economy is highly affected, in which luxury goods sell. Find something safer, such as food industry work or repair. When the economy goes south, people stop buying new products, keep old products and spend money to repair them. Thus, some of the safest jobs around are repairing computers, appliances and cars. Although some teachers have lost their jobs at the 2008/2009 hitch in our economy, many of the typically secure jobs will also remain secure, including work in the medical field and governmental activities. Related: HowTo Buy Good Stuff Inexpensively Get Out Of Debt Do whatever you can to remove debt in your life. While some debt might be there, like your home mortgage, you can’t get away from it, make sure your mortgage isn’t higher than it should be. Downsize, if possible, sell your house and move into a smaller one, reduce your mortgage. If not, see refinancing, to see whether it will save you money. Above all, you want to get rid of other kinds of debt, because they make it more difficult for you to pay your house. If your mortgage is the only debt you have, you are more likely to pay it. But if you pay for two cars, debt on the credit card and furniture for the living room, you’ll be in trouble. In the middle of a financial crisis, a farm is the safest place. If you cannot buy a small farm or a house, it’s a good second choice to live in a small rural community. It is not only cheaper to live there, but they are also often at lower rates of crime. In times of financial crisis, crime will always spike as people who otherwise obey the law get desperate and turn to crime to get what they need. Although the cities were massively short of food, there was plentiful food on the farms during the Argentine collapse. The problem was not production; it was transportation and sale costs. Inflation was so bad, it was impossible for businesses to affordto buy food. If the food could be sold right away, it wouldn’t provide them with enough money to restock what they could sell for. Who would have dreamed the advancements that have been created in a short, by comparison of the last 125 year, to the history of mankind.But science has made great advances in medicine on understanding genetic codes, some good, and some not so good. As it was in the days of Noah, mankind has mastered many secrets to life, but have done things that God destroyed the whole earth because of doingthings against His Creation. Man attempts to merge DNA's of humans and animals in test tubes is an abomination before God. To create artificial intelligence and make man a hybrid of machine and humanity. Then man has been able to manipulate weather such asusing HAARP but creates havoc using such devices to control the elements. Then we see the advances in space travel and I remember the news coverage when we first landed a manned space craft on the moon. Man expects in the future to travel to distantstars, to Mars and other planets outside our atmosphere. It appears there is nothing that mankind cannot do....to a point, that God will allow. Mankind has limits that are in the bounds of time, which we cannot control. We see the past and learn from history,but we cannot see the future and make any type of predictions, as we can only guess. ISRAEL, A MODERN DAY MIRACLE Take for example the restoration of Israel as a modern day democracy after almost 2000 years of being destroyed as a nation on earth. No one would have believed 150 yearsago OR even 80 years that Israel would ever come back to her native country as we have seen in the last 73 years. Israel was virtually uprooted in 702 BC by Sargon II who conquered the northern half of the nation we now know as Israel and carted the peopleto distant lands, scattering them to the four winds and placed other people conquered into the land to prevent an uprising and rebellion of nations they conquered and overran. It is how the Samaritans came to be in the northern half of the once great nationof Israel in the days of Jesus. Likewise, the southern half of Israel, know as Judah was taken captive by the Kingdom of Babylon and finally returned after 70 years of exile. But in 70AD Jerusalem was destroyed and the Temple burned and the nation of Israelwas no more when in 135 AD the city was sown with salt and plowed under and the national name was changed to Palestine by the Roman Empire after the name of the Philistines in Gaza area. Still the prophets wrote confidently by Holy Spirit moving them to write, that in the last days, Israel would again be reborn in her own land. Once again the Hebrew peoplewould inhabit real estate from which they were displaced, seemingly forever. "And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by therivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country." (Ezekiel 34:13) Writing of the Gog Magog invasion, God inspired Ezekiel to prophesy; "After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, againstthe mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them." (Ezekiel 38:8) In this passage, we find a time frame in Ezekiel's prophecy that would come to pass as he said “after many days, in the latter years”. They would be brought forth from allthe nations that they had wandered to and be brought to the ancestral lands to a land who had always been laid waste for near 2000 years. A place when Mark Twain visited called it the most desolate place he had ever seen on earth. Nothing grew and there wereno trees, but only desert and barren hills. For more than 2,500 years, this prophecy of Ezekiel remained dormant. Israel was destroyed by Sargon and never again existed as an independent nation. Until, on May 14,1948, when the survivors of the Holocaust were 'brought forth' under the banner of 'never again' to the 'mountains of Israel' -- which 'had always been waste' as the nation of 'Israel'. During the time before Israel became a nation again, they petitioned Great Britain to allow them a homeland in the African country of Uganda, as they would have settledfor any country, but that is not what the prophets wrote and not what God had promised Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that Israel and the Jewish people would inhabit again the mountains of Israel and that is exactly what happened. I say all that about how Israel in a brevity of statements how Israel is now a nation again, to say this. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE TRIBULATION? Understanding the purpose of the Tribulation in relationship to Israel would go a long way to helping us to understand whether the Church of the Living God will be rapturedbefore the tribulation, out of it, or after it. Let us go back to the prophet Daniel and explore a little more of the vision given to the prophet and how history would unfold. Daniel foretold the rise and fall of threegreat empires and the rise, fall and revival of the last great world empire -- that of Rome. "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, andto bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy." (Daniel 9:24) The main points of the prophecy given to Daniel fall into these categories: A. 'Weeks' refer to 'weeks of years' – 70/ 7 year periods equalling490 years using the Hebrew 'shabua' or 'heptad' the way we use the Greek 'decade' in our culture to divide years into groups of ten years each. B. The angel specifically said this period was for Daniel'speople (Jews) and Daniel's holy city (Jerusalem). C. Within this time frame six things will be accomplished; 1)finish the transgression, 2) make an end of sin, 3) make reconcilation for sin, 4) bring in everlasting righteousness, 5) seal up the vision and prophecy and 6) anoint the Most Holy. All of these points are clearly directed at Israel, as the Church had not been formed yet. Point 1-3 in numeral category C above have already been accomplished and weresettled for the church at the cross of Calvary by our Lord and Savior. Points 4-6 occur at the end of the Tribulation, with the establishment of the Millennial Kingdom and the rule of the King of kings, Jesus Christ. The first 69 weeks or 483 years (70x7=490 years) concluded with Jesus riding in on a donkey to to loud proclaims of “Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that comethin the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest ” and the people proclaiming Jesus as King. A few days later and Jesus would be crucified, as the text in Daniel says: “And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary;and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.” (Daniel 9:26) Thus, the prophecy was put on pause, as the points 4-6 could not be completed because the Temple was destroyed in 70AD. At that time, God turned His attention to buildinga people who were not His people, the Church of the Living God. Daniel is told that the 70th week will open when the “Anti-Christ” confirms a covenant between Israel and the many or nations of the world. “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreadingof abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” (Daniel 9:27) Daniel indicates in the passages noted above, that the Tribulation period is for Israel's national redemption. That theme is picked up by the prophet Zechariah: “The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of manwithin him. 2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. 3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earthbe gathered together against it.” (Zechariah 12:1-3) Zechariah goes into great detail in chapter 12-14 of the redemption of Israel and is further proven in Revelation chapter 4 all the way through to chapter 20. Jeremiah states further, that this is the time of Jacob's trouble: 7 “Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it. 8 For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more servethemselves of him: 9 But they shall serve the Lord their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.” (Jeremiah 30:7-9) "For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet I will not make a full end of thee: but I willcorrect thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished." (Jeremiah 30:11) THOSE THAT DWELL ON THE EARTH. There is also a second group that go through the Tribulation, right along with Israel: "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon theearth." (Revelation 3:10) Remember me telling you in times past, that the phrase “Keep thee from” is found in the original Greek in the word “EK” or meaning to keep from the hour, to separate thosefrom the time and space. To bring them out of, not through an event. In this case, Jesus is talking about the coming Tribulation that will try “them that dwell upon the earth”. And the Church is not part of the Tribulation, as Jesus will take us “out of” Hiscoming wrath poured out. Note the phrase, 'them that dwell upon the earth'. We find it six other times; in Revelation 6:10, 8:13, 11:10, 13:8, and 17;8. These are the individuals that gloat over the death of God's two witnesses found in chapter 11 of Revelation. And those who are pronounced to endure the final three trumpetswhich are to come written in chp. 8 of this same book of your Bible. These “dwellers on the earth” are the people who are deceived by the beast rising up from the sea, makes an image of the first beast, and worships the beast which all speaks of the Anti-Christ: 6 “And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” (Revelation 13:6-8) Those who dwell upon the earth will gaze in wonder at the scarlet beast: 7 “And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads andten horns. 8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose nameswere not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.” (Revelation 17:7-8) These are the people, those that dwell upon the earth, who do NOT have their names written down in the Book of Life and will take the mark of the beast. In contrast to these earth dwellers, Jesus says of the Church in His prayer at Gethsemane; 14 “I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” (John 17:14-17) Jesus is praying at the time for His apostles, and all who the Father would give Him. It is a blanket prayer for all the saints of God down through time from the time ofthe cross. Clearly, since the Tribulation period is the time of Jacob's Trouble, was pronounced upon Daniel's people and Daniel's city, and its purpose is to accomplish for Daniel's people in the last days the same thing accomplished for the Church at theCross. The Tribulation period is for the Jews. As I have spoken of many times in the past, the two group of people found during the tribulation as noted above are the Jewish people, the nation of Israel, and those who are rebellious against God known as the “dwellers upon the earth” . Israel will be refined as silver is refined in the furnace, as Malachi tells us: 2 “But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: 3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offeringin righteousness. 4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years.” (Malachi 3:2-4) Just as clearly, according to Jesus, it is also to judge the earth dwellers whose names are not written in the Book of Life. 14 “And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap;for the harvest of the earth is ripe. 16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. 17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. 18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle,and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. 19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.” (Revelation 14:14-20) If there is a purpose for the Church in the Tribulation Period, there is no express mention of that purpose in Scripture, although Scripture is clear regarding both Jewsand 'earth-dwellers'. And the 'earth dwellers' can't be the Church, since their names are not written in the Book of Life. Paul tells us through God's Holy Spirit that we are not appointed to the wrath that is befallen those who dwell upon the earth, that starts in chp. 6 of Revelation. 9 “For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; 10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.” (1st Thessalonians 1:9-10) But what wrath to come? To those who will be delivered unto hell fire for their rejection of Jesus Christ as personal Savior. The wrath of God will fall on all earth dwellersin the Tribulation that have rejected the only propitiation or substitute for the wrath we deserve, which is death. Again in Romans chapter 8, Paul confirms that we are not part of God's fury, as the wrath of God is fallen on those who are condemned. “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1-4) Now lets look at 1st Thessalonians of Paul has further to say: “But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,” (1st Thessalonians 5:1-9) Notice in verse 3 "For when THEY shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon THEM, as travail upon a woman with child; and THEY shall not escape." (Notethe pronouns 'they' and 'them') Then we read in verse 5: "Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: WE are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let US not sleep, as do others;but let US watch and be sober." (Note the change -- 'they'- 'them' become 'we'- 'us') Then in verse 7, Paul tells us the difference in “we,us” in verse 5, by differentiating between those that sleep and are drunk: "For THEY that sleep sleep in the night; and THEY that be drunken are drunken in the night." And finally, tells us that we must be vigilant "But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation." There is a clear distinction between Jewish people who are alive during this time, and earth dwellers who are also going through the Tribulation, and “US” the Church, butlet me make a point here. Look at verse 8 above. It refers to the “hope of salvation”. What does that mean? Salvation from what? My salvation comes with an iron-clad guarantee, signed in Blood. I don't 'hope' for salvation -- I am saved now. 17” For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.” (1st Peter 4:17-19) The church is being judged now. We are saved by the Blood of Jesus and have salvation from eternal punishment that is found in hell and the Lake of Fire. .But salvation from the 'wrath to come' is indicated by the context and consistent with the doctrine that says, "I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them from my hand." (John 10:28) And the 'wrath to come' is the Tribulation period - the time of Jacob's Trouble. The Church is not needing judgment as we have already been judged righteous clothed withthe righteousness of Jesus our Lord, and that not of our own. The argument for a pre-tribulation Rapture of the Church is consistent with Scripture. Keep in mind that the salient point is not so much 'when' as it is "Who" is coming. ARE YOU READY? Do you know who is coming? Are you ready to meet Him? Will you be clothed with His righteousness, or found wanting by being clothed with your own? Yours cannot stand infront of a Holy God who will not allow sin into His presence. There is only one Way back to God our Father and to be forgiven of all of our short comings in breaking the Laws of God, for if you have sinned in one point, you have sinned in them all. One sinis just as great as the other in God's eyes. What must you do to be forgiven and be able to escape what is coming? The Remedy is found in One Name that is above every name. Jesus Christ is that Name...He stands at the door of any sinner's heart and knocks to be allowed entrance. He won'tforce His way in, but will accept your invitation to make Him Lord of your life. 16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:16-18) 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” (Romans 10:8-11) Who will you be identified with in the coming time of the return of Jesus Christ for His Church...will you be that church, the bride of Christ, or will you simply be a sinfilled “earth dweller” that has to go through the most horrific time known to God's world. Jesus is coming. Now is the season of making that decision for Jesus Christ and get on the ark of safety, which is the Son of God.
